311. I have to apologize. - For what?

312. I was afraid you wouldn't come.

313. I was afraid you wouldn't be here.

314. I had to be here.

315. I'd have waited two more days.

316. Or three.

317. I wanted to be sure.

318. I wanted to see if it was possible.

320. Whether it was psychologically possible.

321. if what was psychologically possible?

322. Since you're here, you must know that I write children's books.

327. So I wondered whether it was possible.

328. Whether, psychologically, a woman -

329. Anyway, whether it was possible.

330. You're not saying anything?

331. Why me?

332. Why did you choose me?

346. I love you.

347. What else do you want to know about me?

350. It's for when my lips are chapped.

351. Shit!

352. I've been looking for those for a year.

353. Now I know why you were the one.

354. It wasn't the book.

355. I knew that.

356. What?

357. Why you were doing it.

358. Since the first night you called me.

359. Even before that.

360. You knew?

361. Everything.

362. Maybe this has nothing to do with it, or maybe it does.

363. All my life I've felt like I was here and somewhere else

364. at the same time.

365. It's hard to explain.

366. But I know...

367. I always sense what I should do.

368. Where is this?

369. It's not in France.

370. That was on a trip to Czechoslovakia, Ηungary and Poland.

374. That's not me.

375. Sure it's you.

376. That's not my coat.

377. Is that me?

381. I handle them a lot when I perform.

382. They get damaged easily.

383. You try it.

384. Shall I read it to you?

385. "November 23, 1966,

386. was the most important day of their Iives.

387. That day, at 3:00 in the morning,

388. they were both born, each in a different city

389. on a different continent.

390. They both had dark hair and brownish-green eyes.

391. At two years old, when both knew how to walk,

392. one of them burned her hand on a stove.

393. A few days later,

394. the other one reached out to touch a stove

395. but pulled back just in time.

396. Yet she couldn't have known she was about to burn herself."

397. You like it?

398. I think I'll call it The Double Life of...

399. I haven't decided what to name them.
