1. It's me, Peter Parker.
Your friendly neighborhood...Copy !req
2. you know.Copy !req
3. I've come a long way from being
the boy who was bit by a spider.Copy !req
4. Back then, nothing seemed
to go right for me. Now...Copy !req
5. Wow, look, it's Spider-Man!Copy !req
6. - Super cool!
- Spider-man!Copy !req
7. People really like me.Copy !req
8. Stick around. It's gonna start again
in a couple minutes.Copy !req
9. That's okay.Copy !req
10. The city is safe and sound.Copy !req
11. I guess I've had something
to do with that.Copy !req
12. My Uncle Ben would be proud.Copy !req
13. I still get to school. Top of my class.Copy !req
14. Now, the Hamiltonian shows us...Copy !req
15. that the energy levels
are perturbed by the electric field.Copy !req
16. From the form of this matrix,
we can see...?Copy !req
17. Miss Stacy?Copy !req
18. That only the "m equals zero
quantum states" are affected.Copy !req
19. Correct. Good work, Miss Stacy.Copy !req
20. Parker? You got something to add?Copy !req
21. No, sir.Copy !req
22. And I'm in love
with the girl of my dreams.Copy !req
23. Hi.Copy !req
24. Miss Watson left a ticket for me.
Peter Parker.Copy !req
25. Excuse me. Sorry.Copy !req
26. Thank you. Sorry.Copy !req
27. I'm so nervous.Copy !req
28. That's my girlfriend.Copy !req
29. - I thought she was good.
- Yeah.Copy !req
30. Harry?Copy !req
31. Harry!Copy !req
32. I need to talk to you.Copy !req
33. Explain things.Copy !req
34. Tell it to my father.
Raise him from the dead.Copy !req
35. I'm your friend, Harry.
I cared about your father.Copy !req
36. NH}.!Copy !req
37. - Peter!
- Congrats!Copy !req
38. - Was I good?
- Good? You were great.Copy !req
39. - You were...
- You said great.Copy !req
40. I love my flowers, they're beautiful.
And those are from Harry.Copy !req
41. - Was he here tonight?
- Yeah, I ran into him outside.Copy !req
42. - What's with you guys anyway?
- It's complicated.Copy !req
43. Tell me again. Was I really good?Copy !req
44. I was so nervous.
My knees were shaking.Copy !req
45. - Your knees were fine.
- The applause wasn't very loud.Copy !req
46. Yes, it was. Well, it's the acoustics.Copy !req
47. It's all about diffusion. It keeps
the sound waves from grouping.Copy !req
48. When the sound waves,
they propagate, then it's like an...Copy !req
49. You are such a nerd.Copy !req
50. Did you see that one?Copy !req
51. You know what?Copy !req
52. I'd like to sing on-stage
for the rest of my life...Copy !req
53. with you in the first row.Copy !req
54. I'll be there.Copy !req
55. Tell me you love me.Copy !req
56. I love you.Copy !req
57. I love you so much.Copy !req
58. I always have.Copy !req
59. - Ready?
- Yep.Copy !req
60. You can't hide here, Flint.Copy !req
61. - I'm just here to see my daughter.
- You are an escaped convict.Copy !req
62. The cops are looking for you.
You're not getting near her.Copy !req
63. You're nothing but a common thief.Copy !req
64. - You maybe even killed a man?
- It wasn't like that.Copy !req
65. It wasn't.Copy !req
66. I had good reason
for what I was doing.Copy !req
67. And that's the truth.Copy !req
68. You and the truth, sitting in prison,
having three meals a day together.Copy !req
69. I live in the presence of great truth...Copy !req
70. and that is the truth
that you left behind...Copy !req
71. right there in that bedroom.Copy !req
72. Penny.Copy !req
73. I missed you.Copy !req
74. I miss you too, Daddy.Copy !req
75. I promise I'll make you healthy again.Copy !req
76. Whatever it takes, I'll get the money.Copy !req
77. You get out of here. Now.Copy !req
78. I'm not a bad person.Copy !req
79. Just had bad luck.Copy !req
80. Peter, what is it?Copy !req
81. It's M.J.Copy !req
82. - I'm gonna ask her to marry me.
- Oh, Peter.Copy !req
83. The day your Uncle Ben asked me
to marry him, we were so scared.Copy !req
84. And excited.Copy !req
85. And very young.Copy !req
86. And I loved him so fiercely.Copy !req
87. - And you said yes, right?
- No.Copy !req
88. I wanted to say yes, but I said no.Copy !req
89. I wasn't ready. Neither was he.Copy !req
90. So we took our time.Copy !req
91. Looked forward to it.Copy !req
92. Didn't want to run into something
with nothing to count on but love.Copy !req
93. A man has to be understanding...Copy !req
94. and put his wife before himself.Copy !req
95. Can you do that, Peter?Copy !req
96. Yeah, I think I can.Copy !req
97. Then you have my blessing.Copy !req
98. I hope you've considered
a proper proposal.Copy !req
99. Your uncle had it all planned.Copy !req
100. He took me to the beach
one Sunday.Copy !req
101. Oh, he was a knockout
in his bathing suit.Copy !req
102. And I didn't look too bad myself.Copy !req
103. We were very good swimmers.Copy !req
104. And it was a beautiful day
and he said:Copy !req
105. "Let's swim to the island."Copy !req
106. And at the island, we found
a perfect spot by an old tree...Copy !req
107. and we lay down
and looked up at the sky.Copy !req
108. And then he said,
"Close your eyes, May."Copy !req
109. And I did.
And then he said, "Open them."Copy !req
110. And I did.Copy !req
111. And he was holding this ring.Copy !req
112. Dazzling...Copy !req
113. in front of me.Copy !req
114. I thought it was the sun.Copy !req
115. We'd be married 50 years...Copy !req
116. come August if...Copy !req
117. So...Copy !req
118. I hope you'll make it very special
for Mary Jane.Copy !req
119. Do something she'll never forget.Copy !req
120. Give her this.Copy !req
121. Go on. Take it.Copy !req
122. - Harry.
- You knew this was coming, Pete.Copy !req
123. Listen to me. I didn't kill your father.Copy !req
124. He was trying to kill me.
He killed himself.Copy !req
125. Shut up!Copy !req
126. I'm still here, Peter.Copy !req
127. Hate those things.Copy !req
128. Harry?Copy !req
129. Harry.Copy !req
130. Harry.Copy !req
131. Oh, my God.Copy !req
132. Harry!Copy !req
133. Come on!Copy !req
134. God.Copy !req
135. - Defib.
- Two hundred.Copy !req
136. And clear.Copy !req
137. No response.Copy !req
138. Recharge, let's go again.
- Go ahead.Copy !req
139. - Charging.
- And clear.Copy !req
140. No response.Copy !req
141. Let's recharge and do it
one more time. And clear.Copy !req
142. Captain Stacy.Copy !req
143. What's this?
—Flint Marko.Copy !req
144. The guy we tied
to the Ben Parker homicide.Copy !req
145. - What about him?
- Broke out of Rikers.Copy !req
146. - And?
- He's on the run.Copy !req
147. He's in the marshlands.
I think we got him.Copy !req
148. There he is.Copy !req
149. You two, take the west side.
Tommy, take the east.Copy !req
150. Where did he go?Copy !req
151. - Capacitors charged.
- Right.Copy !req
152. Donnie, we got a little fluctuation
on one.Copy !req
153. There's a Change in the silicon mass.
—It's probably a bird. It'll fly away.Copy !req
154. Initiating demolecularization.Copy !req
155. - How is he?
- He's gonna be okay.Copy !req
156. But there's been
some memory impairment.Copy !req
157. Particularly his short-term memory.Copy !req
158. Right now he can't
remember the accident...Copy !req
159. or anything that happened
to him recently.Copy !req
160. Is it permanent?Copy !req
161. It could be. Only time will tell.Copy !req
162. He's awake if you wanna see him.Copy !req
163. Maybe I should wait.Copy !req
164. No, it's fine. Just keep it brief.
I want him to rest.Copy !req
165. Hey, buddy.Copy !req
166. Hey.Copy !req
167. Hit my head.Copy !req
168. Yeah.Copy !req
169. Doctor said I was in an accident.Copy !req
170. Hit-and-run.Copy !req
171. I don't remember much of anything.Copy !req
172. My father...Copy !req
173. he died, right?Copy !req
174. This is all so weird.Copy !req
175. Hi. I got here as fast as I could.Copy !req
176. I know that face.Copy !req
177. How you doing?Copy !req
178. I don't know.Copy !req
179. Last thing I remember, I was fine.Copy !req
180. Somewhere.Copy !req
181. You're still fine.Copy !req
182. We love you, Harry.Copy !req
183. It feels like...Copy !req
184. somehow I've been gone
for a really long time.Copy !req
185. And now I'm back home.Copy !req
186. It's good to have you back.Copy !req
187. I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to ask
you guys to scoot, okay?Copy !req
188. - Okay.
- All right. Thank you.Copy !req
189. Well, I'll see you tomorrow.Copy !req
190. Yeah. Great.Copy !req
191. Get some sleep.Copy !req
192. - I think he's gonna be fine.
- I think so.Copy !req
193. - And you guys seem great.
- Yeah.Copy !req
194. You have lovely friends.Copy !req
195. My best friends.Copy !req
196. I'd give my life for them.Copy !req
197. - Yeah?
- It's me.Copy !req
198. Hey.Copy !req
199. Peter, you know I can't open the door.Copy !req
200. It's stuck again?Copy !req
201. Just come on and help me.Copy !req
202. I'm coming.Copy !req
203. - Hey.
- The review.Copy !req
204. - They hated it. They hated me.
- Well, they can't hate you.Copy !req
205. "The young Miss Watson
is a pretty girl...Copy !req
206. easy on the eyes,
but not on the ears.Copy !req
207. Her small voice didn't carry
past the first row."Copy !req
208. That's ridiculous, I was right there.Copy !req
209. You were in the first row.Copy !req
210. Yeah, this... Listen, you were great.Copy !req
211. That's a critic. This is something
you're gonna have to get used to.Copy !req
212. Believe me, I know.
Spider-Man gets attacked all the time.Copy !req
213. This isn't about you. This is about me.
It's about my career.Copy !req
214. I know, and I'm just saying
you can't let it bring you down.Copy !req
215. You gotta believe in yourself
and pull yourself together.Copy !req
216. You get right back
on the horse and...Copy !req
217. Don't give me the horse thing.Copy !req
218. Try and understand how I feel.Copy !req
219. It's just...Copy !req
220. I look at these words...Copy !req
221. and it's like my father wrote them.Copy !req
222. All cars. All cars in the vicinity of
54th and Sixth Avenue, please report.Copy !req
223. Crane out of control,
approach with caution.Copy !req
224. "Go get them, tiger"?Copy !req
225. I'm sorry.Copy !req
226. Oh, my God. 7-Adam to Central.Copy !req
227. That crane job you sent us on?
It's bigger than we thought.Copy !req
228. We're gonna need
a major mobilization right away.Copy !req
229. Shut it down at the generator. Now!Copy !req
230. Okay, Gwen, I've got a secret:
It's my copier.Copy !req
231. What is that thing
doing in my background?Copy !req
232. They got some kind of short.
Can't shut down the crane.Copy !req
233. Get Edison on the phone.
Kill the power to the whole block.Copy !req
234. Are you all right?Copy !req
235. It's coming back.Copy !req
236. Oh, no.Copy !req
237. - Oh, my God. That's Gwen.
- What?Copy !req
238. What's she doing up there?Copy !req
239. I just saw her last night.
She said she had a modeling gig.Copy !req
240. - Who are you?
- It's Brock, sir. Edward Brock Jr.Copy !req
241. And I work at the Daily Bugle.Copy !req
242. And I'm dating your daughter.Copy !req
243. You okay?Copy !req
244. Yeah, I'm fine.Copy !req
245. Thank you.Copy !req
246. Hey, Spidey, hold on.
Bugle needs a photo.Copy !req
247. - Thank God you're okay.
- Daddy.Copy !req
248. Hey. I'm the new guy.Copy !req
249. New guy?Copy !req
250. You okay?Copy !req
251. From now on, I am gonna be
taking shots of you for the Bugle.Copy !req
252. So smile. Are you smiling?
Just kidding.Copy !req
253. - They got a guy.
- Who, Parker?Copy !req
254. Yeah, look, just between you and me,
guy's kind of an amateur.Copy !req
255. Have you noticed his stuff
makes you look a little bloated?Copy !req
256. Just... Yeah, a little chunky.Copy !req
257. Okay.Copy !req
258. But you don't have to worry about that
anymore, buddy.Copy !req
259. Dazzle me.Copy !req
260. Just something the boys in
the Ad Department and I whipped up.Copy !req
261. As you know, circulation at the Bugle's
been pretty good.Copy !req
262. Though not as good
as The New York Times.Copy !req
263. Or the Daily News, or the Post,
or several other smaller...Copy !req
264. Get on with it, you moron...!Copy !req
265. - What?
- Your blood pressure, Mr. Jameson.Copy !req
266. - Your wife told you to watch the anger.
- You tell my wife...Copy !req
267. Thank you.Copy !req
268. So I propose this campaign.Copy !req
269. "Daily Bugle." That's obvious.Copy !req
270. "It's hip, it's now."
I came up with that one.Copy !req
271. "It's wow." That's actually Erickson.
He goes crazy.Copy !req
272. We gave him a couple lattes,
it's like:Copy !req
273. "And how." That's me again.Copy !req
274. Time to take your pill.Copy !req
275. Not that one.Copy !req
276. Not that one.Copy !req
277. Drink plenty of water.Copy !req
278. Thank you.Copy !req
279. Continue.Copy !req
280. - He's busy.
- I'm just here to talk to you, beautiful.Copy !req
281. What's that smell?Copy !req
282. That's a little something called
Nice and Easy. What's on you?Copy !req
283. It's called Go Away.Copy !req
284. That is the dumbest idea
you've ever had...Copy !req
285. and you have had some doozies.
—Blood pressure.Copy !req
286. Hey, where are you going?Copy !req
287. - Who are you?
- You hired him last week. Freelance.Copy !req
288. - I did? What's that smell?
- It's Brock, sir. Edward Brock Jr.Copy !req
289. Can I just say I really like that shirt?
It's the crane accident.Copy !req
290. - Check out the light.
- He likes my shirt.Copy !req
291. - Hey, Betty.
- Hey, Pete.Copy !req
292. You better get in there. New guy.Copy !req
293. He's trying to sell
some Spidey photos.Copy !req
294. Thanks.Copy !req
295. Parker. You're late, maybe too late.
Bruckner beat you to it.Copy !req
296. It's Brock, sir. Edward Brock Jr.Copy !req
297. - But I got you this.
- But he got me this.Copy !req
298. I didn't see you there.
How'd you get that high?Copy !req
299. - Climbed. Nearly fell off a flagpole.
- A flagpole?Copy !req
300. - Which one do we use?
- I like Bernstein's.Copy !req
301. - It's better.
- Cheaper too.Copy !req
302. Congratulations, we'll use yours.
I'll pay you 50 bucks.Copy !req
303. All right, J.J., I'm your man.Copy !req
304. I know more about a good picture
than any photographer.Copy !req
305. See, photography, it's not just about,
no offense, flagpoles or whatever.Copy !req
306. It's about lighting.
Composition. Drama.Copy !req
307. I want a staff job, sir.Copy !req
308. I have a girl that I intend to marry...Copy !req
309. and I guess, I don't know,
I have this stupid little dream...Copy !req
310. of working with one of the greatest
newspaper editors of our time.Copy !req
311. J. Jonah Jameson.Copy !req
312. Well, we do have an opening.
Johnson quit, remember?Copy !req
313. - You fired him.
- Whatever.Copy !req
314. I know what makes a good picture
and I've been here a long time.Copy !req
315. If there's a staff job,
I think I deserve it.Copy !req
316. He's right, Jonah. Peter's been with us
for years. He's done a great job.Copy !req
317. You want a staff job,
you want a staff job.Copy !req
318. - Anybody care about what I want?
- I do.Copy !req
319. Shut up. Get out.Copy !req
320. I want the public to see Spider-Man
for the two-bit criminal he really is.Copy !req
321. He's a fake, he's full of stickum.
Catch him in the act.Copy !req
322. Spider-Man with his hand
in a cookie jar.Copy !req
323. Whoever brings me that photo
gets a job.Copy !req
324. What're you waiting for,
Chinese New Year?Copy !req
325. I'm on it, boss.Copy !req
326. You'll never get that shot.Copy !req
327. Oh, we'll see.Copy !req
328. You know, I guess one person
can make a difference.Copy !req
329. Enough said.Copy !req
330. Welcome home, Harry.Copy !req
331. - Thank God you're all right.
- Thanks, Bernard.Copy !req
332. - Bernard.
- Sir.Copy !req
333. Got you a little homecoming present.Copy !req
334. - It's your old ball.
- Yeah.Copy !req
335. Thanks, buddy.Copy !req
336. We were pretty good
in the backyard, weren't we?Copy !req
337. We were terrible.
And we tried out for the varsity team.Copy !req
338. - For the cheerleaders.
- Right.Copy !req
339. - Hey, do I have any girlfriends?
- I don't know.Copy !req
340. You don't?Copy !req
341. Hey, Bernard.
Do I have any girlfriends?Copy !req
342. Not that I know of, sir.Copy !req
343. It's a pretty cool pad, huh?Copy !req
344. It's okay.Copy !req
345. - Looks like I'm not hurting for money.
- No.Copy !req
346. Well, maybe I can turn this
no-girlfriend thing around.Copy !req
347. You know, he always appreciated how
you helped me through high school.Copy !req
348. Just wish I could remember
more about him.Copy !req
349. Well, he loved you.
That's the main thing.Copy !req
350. Hey, let's watch a game in the kitchen.
Get something to eat.Copy !req
351. Okay.Copy !req
352. Heads up.Copy !req
353. Did you see that?Copy !req
354. - Still got the moves.
- Yeah.Copy !req
355. Why are we stopping?Copy !req
356. What is she doing here?Copy !req
357. Well, Gary was supposed
to call her agent.Copy !req
358. Hi, honey. We tried to reach you.Copy !req
359. I'm sorry.Copy !req
360. One critic?Copy !req
361. No, all the papers, dear.Copy !req
362. Mary Jane, honey, sit down.
Let us explain it to you.Copy !req
363. Listen, if you'd like,
we could say you became ill.Copy !req
364. That was so poorly handled.Copy !req
365. Yeah.Copy !req
366. Let's just rehearse.Copy !req
367. All right, Spidey.Copy !req
368. Spidey! Spidey! Spidey!Copy !req
369. Excuse me, miss? Could I please
see that gorgeous smile?Copy !req
370. Hi, Eddie.Copy !req
371. You're so beautiful.
This is front-page stuff.Copy !req
372. I gotta practice. See you later.Copy !req
373. - How about tonight?
- Not tonight.Copy !req
374. Why not?Copy !req
375. What about that amazing,
amazing night that we had?Copy !req
376. We had a coffee, Eddie.Copy !req
377. Hey, beautiful.Copy !req
378. One more.Copy !req
379. - Everything okay?
- Yeah, I'm fine.Copy !req
380. - You're not still mad at me, are you?
- No, Peter, I'm proud of you.Copy !req
381. Hey, I'm gonna be swinging in
from over there.Copy !req
382. - Oh, yeah?
- So you know Where to look.Copy !req
383. Give them a good show.Copy !req
384. Don't worry about that review.Copy !req
385. We're gonna be laughing about it
tomorrow night, I promise.Copy !req
386. Yeah.Copy !req
387. Isn't that that guy
from that prison break?Copy !req
388. He fits.Copy !req
389. Hey, you. Halt.Copy !req
390. Cover the back.Copy !req
391. Hon, be careful.Copy !req
392. He's in the truck.Copy !req
393. Round the front.Copy !req
394. Fire.Copy !req
395. People of the city of New York...Copy !req
396. I am here today
because I fell 62 stories...Copy !req
397. and someone caught me.Copy !req
398. Someone who never asks
for anything in return.Copy !req
399. Someone who doesn't even want us
to know who he is.Copy !req
400. Hey, M.J.Copy !req
401. - Harry.
- Hey.Copy !req
402. Where's Pete?Copy !req
403. - Taking somebody's picture, I guess.
- Right.Copy !req
404. I'm so happy to see you.
You look so good, Harry.Copy !req
405. I've never felt better.Copy !req
406. It's a weird feeling
not knowing who you are.Copy !req
407. Bump on the head,
I'm as free as a bird.Copy !req
408. Will you bump me on the head?Copy !req
409. Hey, Pete said you're in a play.Copy !req
410. You came. You sent me flowers.Copy !req
411. I did? I'll come again tonight.Copy !req
412. You can't. I was let go.Copy !req

417. - You wrote me a play?
- Yeah.Copy !req
418. Harry, that's the sweetest thing.Copy !req

or your house is on fire...Copy !req
421. who is it that breaks your fall...Copy !req
422. puts out the flames

445. I guess you haven't heard.
I'm the sheriff around these parts.Copy !req
446. Okay.Copy !req

454. - Parker.
- That is what I said: Parker.Copy !req
455. I have a request.Copy !req
456. My girlfriend will be coming
and I have this ring.Copy !req
457. Hello.Copy !req
458. Oh, so you want to
pop the question tonight, huh?Copy !req
459. Yes, and I wanna do something
very special.Copy !req
460. I love it. Romance.Copy !req
461. I am French.Copy !req
462. When I signal you, if you'd bring some
champagne with the ring...Copy !req
463. - In the bottom of her glass?
- Perfect.Copy !req
464. Also, I thought at the same time...Copy !req
465. if the musicians
would play this song...Copy !req
466. Their favorite.Copy !req
467. And take good care of the ring.Copy !req
468. Oui, with my life, monsieur.Copy !req
469. I like you.Copy !req
470. Thank you.Copy !req
471. Okay, so...Copy !req
472. Oh, would you like
some champagne?Copy !req
473. How'd that get in there?Copy !req
474. Oh, don't cry.Copy !req
475. Hi.Copy !req
476. Look at you. Wow, beautiful.Copy !req
477. Thanks.Copy !req
478. This place in your budget?Copy !req
479. Oh, well, it's a special occasion.Copy !req
480. You're on Broadway.Copy !req
481. I don't feel like

482. Well, you are a star.
And you've earned it.Copy !req
483. Peter...Copy !req
484. you have no idea
how I feel right now.Copy !req
485. Oh, no, I know exactly how you feel.Copy !req
486. Listen, I have been through this.
It happens to me all the time.Copy !req
487. I see Spider-Man posters
in the window...Copy !req
488. kids running around
with me on their sweaters...Copy !req
489. Big Halloween item.Copy !req
490. I don't know, I guess I've become
something of an icon.Copy !req
491. Like yesterday, they kept screaming,
"Spider-Man, Spider-Man."Copy !req
492. I don't know, you know, I mean,
I'm thinking to myself:Copy !req
493. "I'm just a nerdy kid from Queens.
Do I deserve this?"Copy !req
494. Hi, Pete.Copy !req
495. Hi.Copy !req
496. Hi, my parents and I
were just having dinner here.Copy !req
497. - Hello. I'm Gwen Stacy.

Pete talks about you all the time.Copy !req
500. Gwen is my lab partner
in Dr. Connors' class.Copy !req
501. Pete's something of a genius.
I'd be completely lost without him.Copy !req
502. Which actually reminds me...Copy !req
503. Pete, if you've got a picture
of my kiss with Spider-Man...Copy !req
504. could you bring it to class?Copy !req
505. I'd really love it. For my portfolio.Copy !req
506. After all,
who gets kissed by Spider-Man, right?Copy !req
507. I can't imagine.Copy !req
508. Well, it was lovely to meet you.Copy !req
509. - Good night.
- Good night.Copy !req
510. Oh, she's in my science class.Copy !req
511. It's not her best subject.Copy !req
512. What?Copy !req
513. How come
you never mentioned her?Copy !req
514. She's your lab partner?Copy !req
515. You saved her life?Copy !req
516. She thinks you're a genius...Copy !req
517. and she had her
polished fingernails all over you?Copy !req
518. Or didn't you notice?Copy !req
519. And she gave Spider-Man
the key to the city.Copy !req
520. I'll never forget that.Copy !req
521. She's just a girl in my class.Copy !req
522. Let me ask you something.Copy !req
523. When you kissed her...Copy !req
524. who was kissing her?Copy !req
525. Spider-Man or Peter?Copy !req
526. - What do you mean?
- You know exactly what I mean.Copy !req
527. That was our kiss.Copy !req
528. Why would you do that?Copy !req
529. You must have known
how it'd make me feel.Copy !req
530. - Do you wanna push me away?
- Push you away?Copy !req
531. Why would I wanna push you away?
I love you.Copy !req
532. You're my girlfriend.
She's a girl in my class, M.J.Copy !req
533. I don't feel well.
I'm sorry, I have to go.Copy !req
534. No, w...Copy !req

538. Hello.Copy !req
539. I wish you'd pick up the phone.
I don't know what's going on or...Copy !req
540. I don't know if you
got the messages or what.Copy !req
541. But...Copy !req
542. I just wanna talk to you.Copy !req
543. Okay, call me. Bye.Copy !req
544. - Hello?
- Mr. Parker?Copy !req

546. This is Detective Neil Garrett
from the 32nd Precinct.Copy !req
547. I'm calling on behalf

548. He would like you
to come down to the station.Copy !req
549. Originally, we thought that this man,
Dennis Carradine...Copy !req
550. was your husband's killer.Copy !req
551. We were wrong.Copy !req
552. What?Copy !req
553. Turns out Mr. Carradine
was only an accomplice.Copy !req
554. The actual killer is still at large.Copy !req
555. What are you talking about?Copy !req
556. This is the man
who killed your husband.Copy !req
557. His name is Flint Marko.Copy !req
558. He's a small-time crook
who's been in and out of prison.Copy !req
559. You got this wrong.Copy !req
560. Two days ago he escaped.Copy !req
561. Evidently, he confessed his guilt
to a cellmate...Copy !req
562. and we have a couple of witnesses
who will corroborate the story.Copy !req
563. No, wait, son.
You don't wanna do this.Copy !req
564. No!Copy !req
565. Hey, get in! What are you doing?Copy !req
566. Would you put these photos away,
please?Copy !req
567. I'm sorry, Mrs. Parker.
I know this isn't easy...Copy !req
568. but, please, be patient with us.Copy !req
569. We're doing our job.
We will catch him.Copy !req
570. No, you're not doing your job.Copy !req
571. I watched my uncle die,
and we chased down the wrong man.Copy !req
572. Now you're telling me you had
suspicions for two years? Witnesses?Copy !req
573. - Why weren't we told about this?
- Settle down.Copy !req
574. I have no intention of settling down.Copy !req
575. This man killed my uncle,
and he's still out there!Copy !req

584. Aunt May called me.
She told me about what happened.Copy !req
585. She's worried about you.Copy !req
586. I'm worried about you.Copy !req
587. Don't be. I'm fine.Copy !req
588. I don't want you
to do something stupid.Copy !req
589. Like try to find my uncle's killer?Copy !req
590. And do something you'll regret.Copy !req
591. Like with that other guy.Copy !req
592. He had a gun on me. I made a move
and he fell. I told you that.Copy !req
593. - I'm not accusing you of anything.
- 10-22, auto at 556...Copy !req
594. - Will you turn that thing off?
- Crossing 5-6 to 5-7.Copy !req
595. Yeah, Central, this is Car 3-9

596. Peter, I'm here
because I care about you.Copy !req

and that you feel guilty...Copy !req
598. but I wanna be here for you.Copy !req
599. Okay. I get it. Thank you.Copy !req
600. But I'm fine. I...Copy !req

612. Where am I?Copy !req
613. What is this?Copy !req
614. I feel...Copy !req
615. This feels good.Copy !req
616. Yeah!Copy !req
617. This is something else.Copy !req
618. What do you think?Copy !req
619. I've never seen anything like it.Copy !req
620. I'm a physicist, not a biologist...Copy !req
621. but let me look at it in the morning.
Run some tests.Copy !req
622. Can we do that now?Copy !req
623. It seems to like you.Copy !req
624. - Don't let any of that get on you.
- Why not?Copy !req
625. It has the characteristics
of a symbiote...Copy !req
626. which needs to bond
to a host to survive.Copy !req
627. And sometimes these things in nature,
when they bind...Copy !req
628. they can be hard to unbind.Copy !req
629. Bank robbery in progress,

636. What the hell?Copy !req
637. Flint Marko.Copy !req
638. - What do you want from me?
- Remember Ben Parker?Copy !req

641. Everything!Copy !req
642. It's time to pay, Marko!Copy !req
643. Good riddance.Copy !req
644. - Rent.
- Not now.Copy !req
645. Listen, it's a free country.
It's not rent-free country.Copy !req
646. - Leave me alone.
- Give me rent.Copy !req
647. You'll get your rent
when you fix this damn door!Copy !req
648. That wasn't cool.Copy !req
649. He is a good boy.Copy !req
650. He must be in some kind of trouble.Copy !req
651. Flint Marko,

656. Spider-Man?Copy !req
657. I don't understand.Copy !req
658. Spider-Man doesn't kill people.Copy !req
659. What happened?Copy !req
660. I... -Copy !req
661. He...Copy !req
662. He was...Copy !req
663. I thought that you'd feel...Copy !req
664. He deserved it, didn't he?Copy !req
665. I don't think it's for us to say...Copy !req
666. whether a person deserves
to live or die.Copy !req
667. But, Aunt May, he killed Uncle Ben.Copy !req
668. Uncle Ben meant the world to us.Copy !req
669. But he wouldn't want us living
one second...Copy !req
670. with revenge in our hearts.Copy !req
671. It's like a poison. It can...Copy !req
672. It can take you over.Copy !req
673. Before you know it,
turn us into something ugly.Copy !req
674. - He said it was a good idea.
- Yeah.Copy !req
675. Hello?Copy !req
676. Hey, Harry, it's M.J.Copy !req
677. Hi.Copy !req
678. I need some company.Copy !req
679. Are you doing anything?
Can I stop by?Copy !req
680. Yeah, sure, come on over.Copy !req
681. Okay. Are you sure it's okay?Copy !req
682. No, I'm not doing anything.
Please, come over.Copy !req
683. - Okay, I'll see you soon.
- Great.Copy !req
684. Bye.Copy !req
685. - Bernard.
- Yes, Mr. Osborn?Copy !req
686. We're having a guest.
Can you get some food?Copy !req
687. - A guest?
- Yeah, a guest.Copy !req
688. - A "guest" guest?
- Will you just get some food?Copy !req
689. Right away, sir.Copy !req
690. Hey, Mr. Ditkovitch.Copy !req
691. - An orange?
- No, thanks.Copy !req
692. Listen, I'm really sorry
for what happened earlier.Copy !req
693. I shouldn't have yelled about that door.
It was nothing to be angry about.Copy !req
694. It's no big deal.Copy !req
695. But if you feel that bad about it,
you can buy me pizza sometime.Copy !req
696. - Today's good.
- Okay.Copy !req
697. Have problem with the phone?
—No, no. I was just—...Copy !req
698. Well, I was trying
to figure out what to say.Copy !req
699. If it's a woman you're calling,
then you say:Copy !req
700. "You're a good woman.
I am good man."Copy !req
701. - Hi, Pete.
- Hi.Copy !req
702. He's calling a woman.Copy !req
703. Mary Jane?
I think that would be so good...Copy !req
704. This is none of your business.
Go. Go. Call.Copy !req
705. - You should call.
- Thanks.Copy !req
706. - Bye.
- Bye.Copy !req
707. Hi.Copy !req
708. - You hungry?
- Yeah.Copy !req
709. Come on.Copy !req
710. - I hope you like peppers.
- I love them.Copy !req
711. No. Please.Copy !req
712. Oh, the butter.Copy !req
713. Beautiful.Copy !req
714. Check this out.Copy !req
715. Well, we can use that part.Copy !req
716. You've been dreaming.Copy !req
717. Nothing like a little self-deception
to get you through the night.Copy !req
718. - All right.
- When did you write that?Copy !req
719. Twelfth grade.
—It's intense.Copy !req
720. - So you want the part?
- I'd love to be in your play.Copy !req
721. It's yours.Copy !req
722. You know, there's not even a scar.Copy !req
723. Barely.Copy !req
724. - Sorry.
- Me too.Copy !req
725. - I didn't mean to do that.
- No, it's okay. Please, forgive me.Copy !req
726. Mary Jane.Copy !req
727. Mary Jane.Copy !req
728. - Mary Jane, please.
- I'm sorry.Copy !req
729. Just...Copy !req
730. You've taken your eye off the ball.Copy !req
731. Harry.Copy !req
732. What have you done?Copy !req
733. Avenge me!Copy !req
734. - My father, he died, right?
- Yeah.Copy !req
735. Just wish I could remember
more about him.Copy !req
736. Well, he loved you.
That's the main thing.Copy !req
737. I swear on my father's grave,
Spider-Man will pay.Copy !req
738. Harry.Copy !req
739. Remember me?Copy !req
740. Yes, Father. I remember.Copy !req
741. I was right about her. About Peter.Copy !req
742. About everything.Copy !req
743. You know what you must do.
Make him suffer.Copy !req
744. Make him wish he were dead.Copy !req
745. First, we attack his heart.Copy !req
746. Hi, it's me.
Sing your song at the beep.Copy !req
747. Hey, M-J-It's Peter.Copy !req
748. I wanna talk to you about last night.Copy !req
749. I don't know what I was thinking.Copy !req
750. I know you were just there
to help and I...Copy !req
751. I don't know. I wanna see you.Copy !req
752. If you want Peter to live,
you're gonna do something for me.Copy !req
753. - Yeah?
- It's Ursula.Copy !req
754. Come in.Copy !req
755. - Hi, Pete.
- Hi.Copy !req
756. There's a phone call for you.Copy !req
757. It's Mary Jane, she called back.Copy !req
758. Really?
—Yeah.Copy !req
759. - I put the phone on top of the thing.
- Thanks. Okay.Copy !req
760. - Hey.Copy !req
761. Oh, I'm so glad you called.
I've been trying to...Copy !req
762. - Can you meet me?
- You bet.Copy !req
763. - Now?
- Okay. Where?Copy !req
764. At the bridge in the park.Copy !req
765. —On my way.
—Okay.Copy !req
766. Okay. Hey. I love you.Copy !req
767. You look beautiful.Copy !req
768. Peonies.Copy !req
769. - You okay?
- No.Copy !req
770. There's something
I have to tell you, Pete.Copy !req
771. Okay.Copy !req
772. It's not working.Copy !req
773. You and me.Copy !req
774. What?Copy !req
775. I don't wanna see you anymore.Copy !req
776. What are you talking about?Copy !req
777. I don't know.Copy !req
778. I'm lonely.Copy !req
779. You aren't there for me.Copy !req
780. I can't do this.Copy !req
781. - It's over.
- No. Please. Please don't say that.Copy !req
782. I know I've been selfish,
but I can do better. I can change.Copy !req
783. - It's not that simple.
- We love each other. I love you.Copy !req
784. We have problems.
When people have problems...Copy !req
785. they work it out.
They talk to each other.Copy !req
786. Look, you see?Copy !req
787. You know what this is?Copy !req
788. - You know what I want for us?
- There's someone else.Copy !req
789. I've fallen in love
with someone else.Copy !req
790. Bravo.Copy !req
791. She says that she's lonely,
that I'm not there for her.Copy !req
792. There's another guy.Copy !req
793. Well, how you holding up?Copy !req
794. Not good.Copy !req
795. Harry, I was gonna propose to her.Copy !req
796. Really?Copy !req
797. Well, she's been going through
a tough time lately. Career.Copy !req
798. I mean, a singing waitress
at a jazz club?Copy !req
799. It's not exactly
what she had in mind for herself.Copy !req
800. Singing waitress? What are you...?
What are you talking about?Copy !req
801. Well, she was fired from the show.
Didn't she tell you?Copy !req
802. She was fired?Copy !req
803. She was fired and she told you?
She didn't tell me?Copy !req
804. Well, that's why
I asked you here, Pete.Copy !req
805. I'm the other guy.Copy !req
806. What?Copy !req
807. Look, she came to me
one afternoon, troubled.Copy !req
808. She needed someone
and I was there for her.Copy !req
809. I've always loved her, Pete.
You know that.Copy !req
810. It just...Copy !req
811. started.Copy !req
812. I don't believe this.
I don't... I don't believe you.Copy !req
813. Look, I'm really sorry.Copy !req
814. I just thought you should know.Copy !req
815. - Can I warm you up?
- Yes, please.Copy !req
816. How's the pie?Copy !req
817. So good.Copy !req
818. Would you like a drink?Copy !req
819. I'm sorry. What was I thinking?Copy !req
820. Bad for the public image, right,
Mr. Key-to-the-City?Copy !req
821. What did you do to her?Copy !req
822. I did what you failed to do.
I was there for her.Copy !req
823. Mary Jane and I,
we understand each other.Copy !req
824. - She doesn't know what you are.
- Peter, she knows me very well.Copy !req
825. And when she kissed me,
it was just like she used to kiss me.Copy !req
826. That taste...Copy !req
827. Strawberries.Copy !req
828. How'd you like that, Spidey?Copy !req
829. That all you got?Copy !req
830. - Stings, doesn't it?
- I protected you in high school.Copy !req
831. Now I'm gonna kick your little ass.Copy !req
832. Gonna kill me
like you killed my father?Copy !req
833. I'm done trying to convince you.Copy !req
834. You took him from me. He loved me.Copy !req
835. No. He despised you.Copy !req
836. You were an embarrassment to him.Copy !req
837. Look at little Goblin Junior.
Gonna cry?Copy !req
838. Spider-Man used to
make me feel safe.Copy !req
839. Now I'm afraid
to walk home from work.Copy !req
840. - My son thought the world of this guy.
- I have a daughter, loves Spider-Man.Copy !req
841. - Who's she to look up to?
- This is the guy they gave the key to?Copy !req
842. I'm gonna put some dirt in your eye.Copy !req
843. Cheers to the new staff photographer.
—Hey, I just got lucky.Copy !req
844. This is so wonderful for you.Copy !req
845. Well, you might wanna tell J.J.
to make a little more wall space.Copy !req
846. Wow, good morning.
It's a beautiful day, huh?Copy !req
847. What was it you said?
I'll never get that picture?Copy !req
848. There's your hero.Copy !req
849. - I never thought he'd really do that.
- See? Right there.Copy !req
850. You made a judgment call.
You gotta see it as it is.Copy !req
851. Funny you should say that...Copy !req
852. because I was looking through
some old photos and it looks very...Copy !req
853. Similar.Copy !req
854. Okay. Well, I gotta get back to work.Copy !req
855. - You're trash, Brock.
- Excuse me?Copy !req
856. Your picture's a fake.Copy !req
857. Oh, Parker,
you are such a boy scout.Copy !req
858. When are you gonna
give a guy a break?Copy !req
859. You want forgiveness? Get religion.Copy !req
860. - What's going on here?
- Are you guys all right?Copy !req
861. Yeah. No, we...
We're just horsing around.Copy !req
862. Look, I'm begging you.
If you do this, I will lose everything.Copy !req
863. There's not a paper in town
that will hire me.Copy !req
864. You should've
thought of that earlier.Copy !req
865. What are you doing, Peter?Copy !req
866. Show this to your editor.
Tell him to check his source next time.Copy !req
867. It's a fake.Copy !req
868. Empire State
Photographic Department confirms it.Copy !req
869. Pack your things.
Get out of my building.Copy !req
870. - I was just trying...
- You're fired.Copy !req
871. We're gonna have to
print a retraction now.Copy !req
872. I haven't printed a retraction
in 20 years.Copy !req
873. Shalom.
- Mr. Parker, Dr. Connors here.Copy !req
874. Oh, Dr. Connors. How are you?Copy !req
875. Quite a specimen
you left me, Parker.Copy !req
876. Its chemistry is not unlike
the chondritic meteorites of the '703.Copy !req
877. Thanks.Copy !req
878. - That's good.
- You know what, Parker?Copy !req
879. - Parker?
- Get me some milk.Copy !req
880. It amplifies characteristics
of its host.Copy !req
881. - Hey, give me another cookie.
Especially aggression.Copy !req
882. This could be dangerous.Copy !req
883. Peter, you didn't keep any, did you?Copy !req
884. - You got any with nuts?
- I have some nuts. I could make some.Copy !req
885. - Go make me some.
- Peter?Copy !req
886. No, no, no. Course not.Copy !req
887. These shots are so good.Copy !req
888. I'd love to shoot you sometime.Copy !req
889. Peter Parker. Peter.Copy !req
890. Parker. Miss Brant, that's not
the position I hired you for.Copy !req
891. Black-suit Spider-Man.Copy !req
892. Peter, these are incredible.Copy !req
893. - We gotta have these, Jonah.
- I'll pay you the usual rate.Copy !req
894. If you want the shots,
I'll take the staff job...Copy !req
895. double the money.Copy !req
896. Penny.Copy !req
897. You are really gonna dig this joint.Copy !req
898. Do you think I'm...?
I'm dressed all right?Copy !req
899. Too fancy or too...Copy !req
900. Are you kidding me?
You're looking fine, babe.Copy !req
901. - Thank you.
- Love that little giggle.Copy !req
902. Hey, keep it open there, pops.Copy !req
903. Oh, this is so cool.Copy !req
904. I have never been
to a jazz club before.Copy !req
905. Oh, I hope we can get a table.Copy !req
906. Find us some shade.Copy !req
907. Thanks, hot legs.Copy !req
908. Right this way, sir.Copy !req
909. Oh, why, thank you.Copy !req
910. - I am so loving this.
- Oh, me too.Copy !req
911. - Isn't that your old girlfriend?
- Yeah.Copy !req
912. - Do you wanna go some place else?
- Oh, no, no. I'll... I'll be okay.Copy !req
913. - Mary Jane, show us what you got.
- I'll take that.Copy !req
914. - I'll be right back.
- All right.Copy !req
915. Peter?Copy !req
916. This is for you.Copy !req
917. Double-time.Copy !req
918. Thanks.Copy !req
919. Now dig on this.Copy !req
920. That is hot.Copy !req
921. That was all for her?Copy !req
922. I'm so sorry.Copy !req
923. - You all right, Mary Jane?
- I'm fine.Copy !req
924. Okay.Copy !req
925. Hey.Copy !req
926. What's wrong with you?Copy !req
927. You.Copy !req
928. - Can I help you, sir?
- No.Copy !req
929. Is everything okay here, Paul?Copy !req
930. Yeah, is everything okay here, Paul?Copy !req
931. - Take him out of here.
- Let's go, sir.Copy !req
932. - Take your hand off of me.
- Now.Copy !req
933. - Okay.
- Hey, get off. Let go.Copy !req
934. Peter, stop it!Copy !req
935. Who are you?Copy !req
936. I don't know.Copy !req
937. It's Brock, sir.Copy !req
938. Edward Brock Jr.Copy !req
939. I come before you today...Copy !req
940. humbled...Copy !req
941. and humiliated...Copy !req
942. to ask you for one thing.Copy !req
943. I want you to kill Peter Parker.Copy !req
944. Parker.Copy !req
945. - Hi, Peter.
- Hi.Copy !req
946. You don't seem to have changed
the room around very much.Copy !req
947. Of course, there's not much
you could do, is there?Copy !req
948. When we spoke on the phone...Copy !req
949. I sensed that something
was bothering you...Copy !req
950. so I thought I'd just come by.Copy !req
951. How's Mary Jane?Copy !req
952. I don't know.Copy !req
953. I never heard from you.Copy !req
954. Did you ever propose?Copy !req
955. You said...Copy !req
956. a husband's gotta put a wife
before himself.Copy !req
957. I'm not ready.Copy !req
958. But what happened?Copy !req
959. You seemed so sure.Copy !req
960. Yeah.Copy !req
961. I... -Copy !req
962. I hurt her, Aunt May.Copy !req
963. I don't know what to do.Copy !req
964. Well, you start
by doing the hardest thing:Copy !req
965. You forgive yourself.Copy !req
966. I believe in you, Peter.Copy !req
967. You're a good person.Copy !req
968. And I know you will find a way
to put it right.Copy !req
969. In time.Copy !req
970. End of the line, Spider-Man.Copy !req
971. I want him dead too, Flint.Copy !req
972. That's why
I've been looking for you.Copy !req
973. Oh, yeah. I know all about you.Copy !req
974. Like the fact that Spider-Man
won't let you help your poor daughter.Copy !req
975. It's just...
That doesn't seem right to me.Copy !req
976. Look, I wanna kill the spider,
you wanna kill the spider.Copy !req
977. Together, he doesn't stand a chance.Copy !req
978. Interested?Copy !req
979. Yeah.Copy !req
980. So...Copy !req
981. where to?Copy !req
982. All New York is holding its breath...Copy !req
983. as the hostage crisis
continues to unfold.Copy !req
984. Just 30 minutes ago...Copy !req
985. police came across
this startling sight:Copy !req
986. A young woman,
held hostage in a taxi...Copy !req
987. suspended 80 stories
above the ground...Copy !req
988. in what appears to be
a giant web.Copy !req
989. Every attempt by the police
to rescue the hostage...Copy !req
990. has been thwarted
by the Sandman.Copy !req
991. Compounding the danger...Copy !req
992. is the appearance
of a strange black—suited figure.Copy !req
993. Early reports had believed him
to be the black—suited Spider-Man...Copy !req
994. but he has now been identified
as something entirely different.Copy !req
995. The hostage has been identified
as Mary Jane Watson...Copy !req
996. an actress recently seen
in a brief stint on Broadway.Copy !req
997. We're now going to take you
live to the scene...Copy !req
998. with Jennifer Dugan. Jennifer?Copy !req
999. We're only about
100 feet away now, Hal, and...Copy !req
1000. Wait. There seems to be
some kind of activity in the web.Copy !req
1001. They seem to be creating
some kind of gigantic lettering.Copy !req
1002. Spider—Man's being challenged
to some sort of confrontation.Copy !req
1003. And that raises serious questions...Copy !req
1004. about what kind of chance he'd
stand against such overwhelming...Copy !req
1005. Harry?Copy !req
1006. I need your help.Copy !req
1007. I can't take them both,
not by myself.Copy !req
1008. You don't deserve my help.Copy !req
1009. Harry...Copy !req
1010. she needs us.Copy !req
1011. Get out.Copy !req
1012. If I may, sir?Copy !req
1013. I've seen things in this house
I've never spoken of.Copy !req
1014. What are you trying to tell me?Copy !req
1015. The night your father died...Copy !req
1016. I cleaned his wound.Copy !req
1017. The blade that pierced his body...Copy !req
1018. came from his glider.Copy !req
1019. I know you're trying to defend
your father's honor...Copy !req
1020. but there's no question
that he died by his own hand.Copy !req
1021. I loved your father...Copy !req
1022. as I have loved you, Harry.Copy !req
1023. As your friends love you.Copy !req
1024. Look.Copy !req
1025. Spider-Man! Spider-Man!
Spider-Man!Copy !req
1026. He seems to have
come out of nowhere...Copy !req
1027. to answer the prayers of the city...Copy !req
1028. just when all hope
seemed to be lost.Copy !req
1029. Peter. They're gonna kill us both.Copy !req
1030. - I'm gonna get you out of this.
- Watch out.Copy !req
1031. Hey, Parker.Copy !req
1032. My God. Eddie.Copy !req
1033. My spider-sense is tingling...Copy !req
1034. if you know what I'm talking about.Copy !req
1035. We can find a way to settle this.Copy !req
1036. You're so right.Copy !req
1037. I'm thinking humiliation.Copy !req
1038. Kind of like how you humiliated me.Copy !req
1039. Do you remember?Copy !req
1040. Do you remember
what you did to me?Copy !req
1041. You made me lose my girl.
Now I'm gonna make you lose yours.Copy !req
1042. How's that sound, tiger?Copy !req
1043. Hold on, Mary Jane!Copy !req
1044. Mary Jane!Copy !req
1045. It's hard to believe
what's happening.Copy !req
1046. The brutality of it.Copy !req
1047. I don't know how
he can take any more.Copy !req
1048. This could be a tragic day
for the people of New York.Copy !req
1049. It could be the end of Spider-Man.Copy !req
1050. - Awesome.
- Wicked cool.Copy !req
1051. You came.Copy !req
1052. Looks like just in the nick of time.Copy !req
1053. A couple minutes ago
wouldn't have been so bad either.Copy !req
1054. What are you gonna do?Copy !req
1055. I may need some help over here.Copy !req
1056. I'm a little busy right now.Copy !req
1057. Give me your hand.Copy !req
1058. Parker! Parker, where...?Copy !req
1059. I need a photographer.Copy !req
1060. Hey, kid, you want a job?Copy !req
1061. Why would I want a job?
I'm just a kid.Copy !req
1062. - All right, how much for the camera?
- One hundred bucks.Copy !req
1063. A hundred bucks?Copy !req
1064. All right, you little crook. Here.Copy !req
1065. What the...?Copy !req
1066. Film's extra.Copy !req
1067. Gotcha.Copy !req
1068. Pete, up top.Copy !req
1069. Mary Jane.Copy !req
1070. - This thing got any more?
- Hang on.Copy !req
1071. To what?Copy !req
1072. - Go, buddy.
- Got her.Copy !req
1073. You okay?Copy !req
1074. Yeah.Copy !req
1075. - Good.
- Hey, Pete.Copy !req
1076. Am I interrupting?Copy !req
1077. Never wound...Copy !req
1078. what you can't kill.Copy !req
1079. Eddie, the suit,
you gotta take it off.Copy !req
1080. Oh, you'd like that, wouldn't you?Copy !req
1081. I know what it feels like.Copy !req
1082. It feels good.Copy !req
1083. The power. Everything.Copy !req
1084. But you'll lose yourself.Copy !req
1085. Let it go.Copy !req
1086. I like being bad.Copy !req
1087. It makes me happy.Copy !req
1088. Harry!Copy !req
1089. Peter. What are you doing?Copy !req
1090. No!Copy !req
1091. Eddie!Copy !req
1092. - Harry.
- Mary Jane.Copy !req
1093. - I'm gonna get help.
- No.Copy !req
1094. Stay.Copy !req
1095. I didn't want this.Copy !req
1096. But I had no choice.Copy !req
1097. We always have a choice.Copy !req
1098. You had a choice
when you killed my uncle.Copy !req
1099. My daughter was dying.Copy !req
1100. I needed money.Copy !req
1101. I was scared.Copy !req
1102. I told your uncle
all I wanted was the car.Copy !req
1103. - What is it?
- I need your car.Copy !req
1104. He said to me:Copy !req
1105. "Why don't you just put down the gun
and go home?"Copy !req
1106. I realize now
he was just trying to help me.Copy !req
1107. Then I saw my partner
running over with the cash.Copy !req
1108. And the gun was in my hand.Copy !req
1109. Get in.Copy !req
1110. Did a terrible thing to you...Copy !req
1111. and I spent a lot of nights
wishing I could take it back.Copy !req
1112. I'm not asking you to forgive me.Copy !req
1113. I just want you to understand.Copy !req
1114. I've done terrible things too.Copy !req
1115. I didn't choose to be this.Copy !req
1116. The only thing left of me now...Copy !req
1117. is my daughter.Copy !req
1118. I forgive you.Copy !req
1119. Hey, pal. How you doing?Copy !req
1120. Been better.Copy !req
1121. We'll get you through this.Copy !req
1122. No.Copy !req
1123. I should never have hurt you...Copy !req
1124. said those things.Copy !req
1125. None of that matters, Peter.Copy !req
1126. You're my friend.Copy !req
1127. Best friend.Copy !req
1128. Harry.Copy !req
1129. Whatever comes our way...Copy !req
1130. whatever battle we have raging
inside us, we always have a choice.Copy !req
1131. My friend Harry taught me that.Copy !req
1132. He chose to be the best of himself.Copy !req
1133. It's the choices
that make us who we are...Copy !req
1134. and we can always choose
to do what's right.Copy !req
