Invasion (1969)

1. In 1978, during the military dictatorship in Argentina,

2. eight reels of the original negatives from Invasión, shot in 1969,

3. were stolen from Alex Laboratories in Buenos Aires.

4. After twenty one years of blockade, the effort and kindness

5. of Pierre-André Boutang and other friends, in France and Argentina,

6. allowed composing a new complete negative print of the film.

7. The sources for this print were four original negative reels,

8. and eight internegative reels,

9. obtained from the combination of two old 35 mm positive prints.

10. This is a first restoration, achieved in 1999 thanks to the technicians

11. at I.T.C. Laboratory,

12. to those at Desmarquest Studios for the treatment of the sound mix,

13. to Ricardo Aronovich, original director of photography,

14. and to Hubert Niogret, who was in charge of the production.
