1250. The entire boys basketball team at Richmond High School

1251. has been benched.

1252. The highly ranked Oilers have a perfect season on the court

1253. but some players were in big trouble academically.

1254. And in an unprecedented move, Coach Ken Carter canceled practice,

1255. locked the gym and sent his players straight to the library.

1256. Now, at the start of the season, I understand you made

1257. all of your players sign a contract before they could join the team.

1258. What exactly were the conditions of that contract?

1259. The contract states that the players maintain a 2.3 grade point average.

1260. And that the players must attend all their classes

1261. and sit in the front row of those classes.
