2. He would help rebuild and repopulate the village of Atlantis.

4. what use he might make of the Witch Boy Klarion,

5. now that Vandar's eyes had been opened

6. to the Lords of Chaos and Order,

7. elemental forces of the cosmos.

8. A century passed.

9. A century of reconstruction, fortification and growth.

10. Thus, after witnessing the birth

11. of his latest grandson,

12. Vandar again began his travels.

13. Some 200 years later,

14. Vandar, now going by the name Varl'jat,

15. returned to an Atlantis

16. that had grown into a prosperous,

17. if not miraculous, city-state,

18. one that controlled nearly all surrounding territories.

19. Leading that city was Varl's own grandson,

20. still alive 200 years later,

21. an immortal, like his grandfather.

22. The first immortal Varl's line had spawned...

23. Arion, Lord of Atlantis.

117. using it to advance Atlantis' techno-sorcery.

118. Soon, Vandar Adg's simple village

119. had grown into a gleaming city.

120. And with Varl'jat's martial help,

121. that city expanded to become capital of a kingdom

122. spanning the entire Atlantean Continent.

123. It was the mightiest civilization known to mankind,

124. either before or since.

125. Arion looked upon it with satisfaction.

126. But for Varl'jat,

127. it only made him hunger for something more.

128. Is he for real? Who is this guy?

132. Klarion nearly killed all four of us.

133. And, frankly, the idea of two Chaos Lords destroying each other

173. when three-fourths of its surface was covered in ocean,

174. beyond his reach, beyond his rule.

175. But Arion's descendants, those that survived,

176. would surely conquer the vasty deep.

177. This chaos would bring order to it all.

178. The Atlanteans simply required the proper incentive.

179. Unfortunately, Arion categorically refused

180. to help his grandfather sink any of Atlantis.

181. Varl was disappointed in his grandson's shortsightedness.

185. And so Varl'jat waited

186. until on the thousandth anniversary

187. of Vandar Adg's pact with the Witch Boy...

294. Still, as Varl had predicted,

295. the meta-genes of a few Homo Magi were indeed activated.

296. and the Water-Breathers of Atlantis were born.

297. Eventually, Homo Mermanus would scatter across the seven seas,

298. until the new Kingdom of Atlantis

299. controlled three-fourths of the globe.

300. So, ultimately, Varl'jat was satisfied.

301. As was Klarion.

302. - What a grand old time! "What a grand old time."

303. He insisted on continuing their alliance...

304. whether Varl liked it or not.

306. Fire always does the trick, melts them down to candle wick.
