1. Previously on WandaVision...

2. Born to Irina and Oleg Maximoff, both killed during an air raid

3. when Maximoff and her twin brother, Pietro, were ten.

4. The twins were subsequently radicalized, volunteering at HYDRA.

5. Maximoff stormed our facility,

6. stole the Vision's body and resurrected him.

7. - Wanda killed me? - Yes. You asked her to do it.

8. - I can't. - You can.

9. - I came back and died again. - No!

10. And she had to watch.

11. Where are the twins?

12. They're probably just playing in the basement.

13. You didn't think you were the only magical girl in town, did you?

14. The name's Agatha Harkness. Lovely to finally meet you, dear.

15. (SHUDDERING) No, no, no.

16. Please, no.

17. No. No, please.

18. Agatha Harkness, are you a witch?

19. Yes.

20. I am a witch.

21. Yet you have betrayed your coven.

22. I have not!

23. You stole knowledge above your age and station.

24. You practice the darkest of magic.

25. I know... I know nothing of these crimes.

26. - I... I swear it. - Enough deception!

27. I did not break your rules.

28. They simply bent to my power.

29. Wait.

30. No. I cannot control it! I...

31. If only you would teach me!

32. Help me! Please!

33. Mother, please!

34. Please! Mother!

35. No!

36. Please, I can be good.

37. No, you cannot.

38. Hmm? Hmm?

39. What?

40. No, I know. (CHUCKLES)

41. She does look shocked to meet the real us, doesn't she? (CHUCKLES)

42. Oh...

43. (LAUGHS) That's adorable.

44. My thoughts are not available to you, toots.

45. They never, ever were.

46. - So don't go givin' yourself a migraine. - (CHITTERING)

47. We've got work to do.

48. - Where are my children? - (MOCKINGLY) "Where are my children?"

49. (SCOFFS) Oof!

50. That accent really comes and goes, doesn't it?

51. Where are they?

52. Oh, your magic's no good here.

53. Didn't you notice?

54. Basic protection spell, one in each wall?

55. No? Nothing?

56. These are runes, Wanda.

57. In a given space, only the witch that cast the runes can use her magic.

58. How do you not know the fundamentals?

59. - Who are you? - Who are you?

60. All those costumes and hairstyles.

61. I was so patient,

62. waiting for you to reveal your true self.

63. I got close with fake Pietro.

64. Fietro, if you will, but no dice.

65. - That was you. - No, it wasn't literally me.

66. Just my eyes and ears.

67. A crystalline possession.

68. Necromancy was a non-starter

69. since your real brother's body is on another continent.

70. Not to mention, full of holes.

71. But you're so crippled by your own self-doubt

72. that you believed it.

73. Oh, Wanda,

74. oh, when I sensed this place,

75. the afterglow of so many spells cast all at once...

76. Oh, I couldn't make heads or tails of it.

77. Mind control.

78. A classic.

79. Quick incantation and a feeble psyche and you're good to go.

80. With thousands of people under your thumb,

81. all interacting with each other according to complex storylines.

82. Well, that's something special, baby.

83. And of course, there's transmutation.

84. Years of study to achieve even the smallest convincing illusion.

85. But Westview through your lens, Wanda...

86. Every little detail in place down to the crown molding.

87. You're even running illusions miles away at the edge of town.

88. Magic on autopilot.

89. What's your secret, sister?

90. Listen, I need you... Hey, Wanda,

91. I need you to tell me how you did this.

92. I didn't do anything. I'm not...

93. - (GRUNTS IN PAIN) - I tried to be gentle,

94. to nudge you awake from this ridiculous fantasy,

95. but you would rather fall apart than face your truth.

96. You left me no choice.

97. What was it you said to your not-brother? Hmm?

98. All you could recall was the feeling.

99. You felt empty. Alone.

100. Endless nothingness.

101. Let's start there.

102. It's been fun playing pretend for a while, hasn't it, Wanda?

103. But it's time to look at some real reruns.

104. All right, let's go.

105. No.

106. Oh, I'm sorry.

107. Did you forget who's got your children stashed away in her bewitched basement?

108. Mom! Mom! Help, please, Mom! Mom, help us!

109. That's right.

110. After you, superstar.

111. Oh.

112. Charming. Love the Cold War aesthetic.

113. Why are we here?

114. Mama...

115. Irina?

116. Papa...

117. Oleg...

118. Hey.

119. - (IN ENGLISH) In English, Papa! Pietro...

120. Oh, he's loud, isn't he?

121. You said the only rule of TV night is we try to practice our English.

122. Yeah. Yes, he is right.

123. We were just making rid of last little bit of Sokovian.

124. Where is your sister?

125. (SHOUTING) Wanda?

126. I mean, we're right here.

127. Wanda?

128. That's your cue, lady. You're on.

129. Hey.

130. Now we can begin. Wanda, you pick.

131. My pick isn't here.

132. I have forgot.

133. I put it in the special place for extra safekeeping.

134. - Don't look. - (GIGGLES)

135. Good job.

136. Hold this.

137. This is your pick, yes?

138. Season 2, Episode 21.

139. Dick Van Dyke again? Always "sitcom, sitcom, sitcom..."

140. The Walnut episode! (SPEAKS SOKOVIAN)

141. (IN ENGLISH) Yes, Rob and Laura have for the most fun shenanigans.

142. What is "shenanigan" again?

143. Shenanigan is like problem, but more silly than scary,

144. but can sometimes be a little scary.

145. Yeah, like mischief.

146. But a silly mischief that always becomes fine.

147. Okay, Papa start it for us.

148. The Dick Van Dyke Show, starring Dick Van Dyke.

149. Hmm.

150. - (ALL LAUGH) And Mary Tyler Moore.

151. - Wanda! - (EXPLOSIONS)

152. Oh, I heard a scream. Oh, I must've screamed.

153. Oh, what a night nightmare.

154. I dreamed that I was a Twiloite.

155. And then I lost my sense of humor and my thumbs... Oh.

156. At the end of the episode, you realize it was all a bad dream.

157. None of it was real.

158. - (GASPS) - Did you stop that bomb?

159. What? (BREATHING SHAKILY)

160. You used a probability hex.

161. No, I... (PANTING)

162. It just never went off. It was...

163. It was defective. We didn't know that.

164. - We were... We were trapped. - For how long?

165. Two days.

166. Huh.

167. So much trauma...

168. and yet you were safe as kittens the whole time.

169. So, what I see here is a baby witch, obsessed with sitcoms

170. and years of therapy ahead of her.

171. Doesn't explain your recent hijinks.

172. Where'd you get the big guns, Wanda?

173. I don't wanna go back there.

174. I know you don't, but it's good medicine, angel.

175. The only way forward is back.

176. Ah, Wanda. The rebellious years.

177. Quick question, your reaction to the bombing

178. of your civilian apartment building and the murder of your parents

179. was to join an anti-freedom terrorist organization.

180. We wanted to change the world.

181. Don't be scared. You already lived it once.

182. For our notes, Miss Maximoff,

183. can you please state your name and confirm your status?

184. Wanda Maximoff. Volunteer.

185. Begin experimentation.

186. Doctor, with respect, not one subject has survived direct...

187. Touch the sample.

188. So I... I just...

189. She's still alive. Get her to isolation now.

190. (SINGING ON TV) Baby, Baby and doll...

191. - (CINDY SHUSHING) Why do I gotta...

192. (SHUSHES) Because I'm putting my baby to sleep, that's why.

193. Play it again.

194. Again.

195. - It makes no sense. - (BEEPING)

196. What happened in there?

197. (ON TV) You stop that. You'll hurt her feelings.

198. She hasn't got any feelings.

199. She's full o' sawdust or rags or somethin'.

200. A guy can't even practice his kazoo anymore!

201. So, little orphan Wanda got up close and personal

202. with an Infinity Stone that amplified

203. what, otherwise, would've died on the vine.

204. The broken pieces of you are adding up, buttercup.

205. I have a theory, but I need more.

206. Oh.

207. Wait!

208. Oh, Wanda. Movin' on up.

209. So, where are we now?

210. The Avengers compound.

211. It was the first home Vision and I ever shared.

212. Pietro was dead and I was in a new country.

213. I was all alone.

214. Vision?

215. I apologize. I don't mean to intrude.

216. You don't?

217. Well, I suppose, yes, I did intend to come in here.

218. And now?

219. And... Well, whatever is your preference.

220. Is it funny because of the grievous injury the man just suffered?

221. No, he's not really injured.

222. Ah.

223. - How can you be certain? - It's not that kind of show.

224. Wanda, I don't presume to know what you're feeling,

225. but I would like to know.

226. Should you wish to tell me.

227. Should that be of some comfort to you.

228. What makes you think that talking about it would bring me comfort?

229. Oh, see, I read that the...

230. The only thing that would bring me comfort is seeing him again.

231. (WHISPERS) Sorry.

232. I'm...

233. I'm so tired.

234. It's...

235. It's just like this wave washing over me, again and again.

236. It knocks me down, and when I try to stand up,

237. it just comes for me again.

238. And I...

239. It's just gonna drown me.

240. - No. No, it won't. - Yeah. (CHUCKLES)

241. How do you know?

242. Well, because it can't all be sorrow, can it?

243. I've always been alone, so I don't feel the lack.

244. It's all I've ever known.

245. I've never experienced loss

246. because I have never had a loved one to lose.

247. But what is grief, if not love persevering?

248. - Sorry. Pardon. - (CHUCKLES) No, it was funny.

249. - Yes, it was very funny, wasn't it? - Mm. (CHUCKLES)

250. So, to recap.

251. Parents dead, brother dead,

252. - Vision dead. - (SIGHS)

253. What happened when he wasn't there to pull you back from the darkness, Wanda?

254. - I can't do this anymore. - Come on, Wanda!

255. You're on the precipice. You are right there!

256. Tell me how you did it.

257. Vision was gone.

258. But you wanted him back.

259. I wanted him back.

260. I wanted him back.

261. I know you have him.

262. - I'm sorry, but like I said... - Please...

263. Please.

264. When I came back, he was gone.

265. His body.

266. And I know he's here.

267. He deserves a funeral, at least.

268. - I deserve it. - (PHONE RINGING)

269. Yes, sir.

270. Yeah, she's still here.

271. Are you sure?

272. Of course.

273. Through the doors. Down the hall.

274. Two lefts and a right.

275. One moment. I have to buzz you in.

276. I got it! Thanks.

277. Wanda Maximoff? It's an honor to meet you.

278. - Truly. - Who are you?

279. Director Tyler Hayward.

280. I understand you're here to see the Vision,

281. to recover the body, that is, is that right?

282. - Well, I'm his next of kin. - I understand.

283. I'd like to show you something.

284. And then you'll give him to me?

285. Please, just come with me.

286. What is this? Why are you showing me this?

287. Because you asked to see it.

288. (SHUDDERING) Stop... Stop...

289. Stop it!

290. What...

291. What are you doing to him?

292. We're dismantling the most sophisticated, sentient weapon ever made.

293. But Vision's not a weapon. You can't do this.

294. In fact, it is our legal and ethical obligation.

295. I just wanna bury him. That's all I want.

296. - Are you sure? - Excuse me?

297. Not everyone has the kind of power

298. that could bring their soulmate back online.

299. Forgive me. Back to life.

300. No, I can't do that. It's...

301. That's not why I'm here.

302. Okay.

303. But I cannot allow you to take three-billion dollars' worth of vibranium

304. just to put it in the ground.

305. So, the best I can do is, let you say goodbye to him here.

306. He's all that I have. Well, that's just it, Wanda.

307. He isn't yours.

308. Fall back.

309. It's fine. Let her see for herself.

310. I can't feel you.

311. I can't feel you.

312. Wanda.

313. Welcome home.

314. Should we stay in tonight?

315. Bravo!

316. Mom! Mom! Mom, help us! Mom! Help!

317. Please! Please help us! Mom!

318. Mom! Please!

319. Mom! Mom!

320. - I know what you are. - Mom!

321. - It's okay, baby. It's okay. - (CHOKING)

322. You have no idea how dangerous you are.

323. You're supposed to be a myth.

324. A being capable of spontaneous creation,

325. and here you are, using it to make breakfast for dinner.

326. - Let go of my children. - Oh, yes, your children.

327. And Vision, and this whole little life you've made,

328. this is Chaos Magic, Wanda.

329. And that makes you the Scarlet Witch.

330. Sir, the team is ready for launch.

331. It's about time.

332. We took this thing apart

333. and put it back together again a million times.

334. Tried every type of power supply under the sun,

335. when all we needed was a little energy directly from the source.

336. Ready, sir.
