1. There are
unconfirmed reports nowCopy !req
2. of a new outbreak, that's a third
outbreak of Russian flu near Hexham.Copy !req
3. That's after last night's outbreaks
at Lochinver and Fort William,Copy !req
4. where 12 people are now confirmed dead.Copy !req
5. The Government are urging
the public not to panic,Copy !req
6. but scenes of disorder are being reported
in Edinburgh, Sunderland and PerthCopy !req
7. as GPs' surgeries are besieged
with thousands of inquiries.Copy !req
8. It's all there.Copy !req
9. Everything they did.Copy !req
10. The experiments.Copy !req
11. The people they murdered.Copy !req
12. Everything-Copy !req
13. Don't find out the truthCopy !req
14. about our father.Copy !req
15. We need to find out
why they want the manuscript.Copy !req
16. It has the identity of Mr Rabbit.Copy !req
17. He is the beating heart of all of this,
and if we can find his identity,Copy !req
18. it ends and you go home.Copy !req
19. We go and we see if he's got the Chinese
character for "rabbit" carved on his back.Copy !req
20. What? And then what?
Whack him?Copy !req
21. Tomorrow at noon I'm gonna be here
with every ounce of Thoraxin I have.Copy !req
22. Get me those pages, you get it all.Copy !req
23. You're right. It's better than genocide.Copy !req
24. That's my assistant's e-mail.Copy !req
25. If you get the manuscript, contact him.Copy !req
26. I'll take Grant.
He's bound to recognise him.Copy !req
27. Do you think we can trust him?Copy !req
28. - Run! Run!
- (SHE SCREAMS)Copy !req
29. The purpose of Janus is to steriliseCopy !req
30. the entire human race.
What we have is an approximation.Copy !req
31. We're trying it on a test group.Copy !req
32. And the test group is...?Copy !req
33. The United Kingdom.Copy !req
34. Where the fuck have you been?Copy !req
35. Answer her question!Copy !req
36. The last time I saw you,
you put a gun to my head.Copy !req
37. I needed to get the manuscript.Copy !req
38. I set a trap. You were bait. I'm sorry.Copy !req
39. - Let's move on.
- Oh, you are such a fucking twat.Copy !req
40. Where's Grant?Copy !req
41. At the end of the manuscript,Copy !req
42. the scientist shouts
the name of Mr Rabbit.Copy !req
43. I gave a bunch of pages to Grant.
The name was in them.Copy !req
44. They must be here somewhere.Copy !req
45. I want those pages. Where is Grant?Copy !req
46. Are we going to find Grant?Copy !req
47. Alice...Copy !req
48. we don't know where he is.Copy !req
49. I'm sorry.Copy !req
50. Hey.Copy !req
51. - You OK?
- What?Copy !req
52. What do you mean?Copy !req
53. Oh, yeah.Copy !req
54. Just a bit stabbed.Copy !req
55. What about Janus?Copy !req
56. Is it in there?Copy !req
57. Wilson, is it in there?Copy !req
58. I... I dunno.Copy !req
59. Well, there's this.Copy !req
60. It's Carvel. He's hiding Janus.Copy !req
61. You can't see what in, but he says
it's in his greatest achievement.Copy !req
62. And then...Copy !req
63. there's this.Copy !req
64. It's the god with two faces.Copy !req
65. Janus.Copy !req
66. - What?
- No! No.Copy !req
67. No, that's our bedding!
For fuck's sake, pack it in!Copy !req
68. Where did he put them?Copy !req
69. I want those pages, and I want...Copy !req
70. I know! You want Mr Rabbit.Copy !req
71. But going off and killing him
isn't going to make your fatherCopy !req
72. any less of a cock than he was.Copy !req
73. You psychoanalysing me, Becky?Copy !req
74. We best pals now?
You want to borrow my lipstick?Copy !req
75. Shit. Are you wearing make-up?Copy !req
76. He thought no-one saw.Copy !req
77. But he's rubbish at hiding things.Copy !req
78. Can we get Grant back now, please?Copy !req
79. This is a Taser.Copy !req
80. You did these drawings?Copy !req
81. You copied them from
the manuscript, didn't you?Copy !req
82. These numbers are a code.Copy !req
83. We believe it describes
the molecular structureCopy !req
84. of a protein we call Janus.Copy !req
85. Do you know what Janus is, Grant?Copy !req
86. You did a very, very good job.Copy !req
87. The drawing's excellent.Copy !req
88. But not complete.Copy !req
89. There are three...Copy !req
90. five-digit numbers missing.Copy !req
91. Do you remember them?Copy !req
92. Are you sure, Grant?Copy !req
93. Because this is very...Copy !req
94. There's a theory of mnemonicsCopy !req
95. that states that human mindsCopy !req
96. retain all visual information
ever seen in a lifetime.Copy !req
97. This means you do know the numbers.Copy !req
98. Mum?Copy !req
99. That's my mum.Copy !req
100. That's...Copy !req
101. No!Copy !req
102. Wave for us, Alexi.Copy !req
103. Your camera. Wave again, Alexi.Copy !req
104. Now, there are many commands
I can give Alexi.Copy !req
105. And he will obey them all.Copy !req
106. The command I would dearly love to give
is "stand down, Alexi".Copy !req
107. But that depends on you.Copy !req
108. Please!Copy !req
109. - I'm going to leave the laptop here.
- Please don't hurt my mum. Please!Copy !req
110. And I'm going to leave this.Copy !req
111. And when you remember
a number, write it in,Copy !req
112. press this buzzer,Copy !req
113. and I'll come back.Copy !req
114. "Letan"?Copy !req
115. So Letan's Mr Rabbit?Copy !req
116. Well, who's Letan?Copy !req
117. Jessica, who's Letan?Copy !req
118. I have no idea!Copy !req
119. Wilson, do you think you can
hack into central records at GCHQ?Copy !req
120. No.Copy !req
121. I mean, yeah, obviously, I can.Copy !req
122. I need a computer.Copy !req
123. And not to mention internet.Copy !req
124. We'll be outside.Copy !req
125. That's not to leave this room.Copy !req
126. Could say "please".Copy !req
127. Please, Becky, don't take
the manuscript out of this roomCopy !req
128. or I will rip your fucking head off.Copy !req
129. Well, what about Grant?
We can't just leave him!Copy !req
130. What about Grant?Copy !req
131. Holy bloody sweaty bollocks!Copy !req
132. - just in here.
- Thanks.Copy !req
133. Doctor here?Copy !req
134. Is problem?Copy !req
135. No, no. It's just a checkup.Copy !req
136. We have private cover for you, Anya, so...Copy !req
137. the doctor will be coming to you.Copy !req
138. Er...Copy !req
139. just... wait here, Michael.Copy !req
140. TV: Well, I haven't caught anything.
I've seen a couple moving up there...Copy !req
141. - (CHANGES CHANNEL)
- The Prime Minister has commendedCopy !req
142. the Health Minister, Geoff Lawson,Copy !req
143. for stepping up production of the vaccine
after Fetlar, describing himCopy !req
144. as a national hero.Copy !req
145. He said that the health department's
contingency planningCopy !req
146. has potentially averted a crisis that
none of us could even bear to imagine.Copy !req
147. We're telling people to stay calm. Do not
travel unless you absolutely have to.Copy !req
148. Keep children, the elderly
and the most vulnerable at home.Copy !req
149. We have a vaccine.Copy !req
150. I repeat, we have a working
Russian flu vaccine,Copy !req
151. and it will be going out tomorrow morning.Copy !req
152. You wanted to see me?Copy !req
153. I need you to do something.Copy !req
154. There's a requirement,
as part of the procedural safeguards,Copy !req
155. that the flu vaccine must be
independently tested in situCopy !req
156. 24 hours before its release.Copy !req
157. That testing must be verified
by the department,Copy !req
158. and, of course, to guarantee
transparency, it can't be a minister.Copy !req
159. It has to be a civil servant.Copy !req
160. In fact, it has to be
the private secretary with responsibilityCopy !req
161. for procurement.Copy !req
162. I've supplied a team. They're downstairs.Copy !req
163. Don't question their results.Copy !req
164. Just sign it off.Copy !req
165. Jesus!Copy !req
166. This is why it's me?Copy !req
167. This... This whole thing
has been about that?Copy !req
168. Your security pass
has been given clearance.Copy !req
169. Go there, get it done.Copy !req
170. Then get on with your life.Copy !req
171. Stay back. Stay back over there.Copy !req
172. Right, this is all the Thoraxin I have.Copy !req
173. If I see anything odd,
anything that looks like a weapon,Copy !req
174. it goes in the fucking lake, I swear.
Do you understand?Copy !req
175. Now, do you have it?
Do you have the pages?Copy !req
176. Yeah, what I've got for you's in here.Copy !req
177. What is this, some kind of joke?Copy !req
178. No joke.Copy !req
179. I've come to say that you'll get
nothing from me ever again.Copy !req
180. Are you forgetting what's in here?
Becky, stop shitting around!Copy !req
181. I've... I've told them I have it.Copy !req
182. I've got a meeting arranged. I've got...Copy !req
183. Well, then, you'd better run.Copy !req
184. Then what are you here for?Copy !req
185. To ask you for that.Copy !req
186. To ask you to do one decent thing
in your whole life.Copy !req
187. To ask you...Copy !req
188. to give me those drugs.Copy !req
189. YOU OK?Copy !req
190. I don't know if the Deel's
has kicked in, you know?Copy !req
191. The clumsiness could be psychosomatic.Copy !req
192. Or stress. That happens.Copy !req
193. My dad had full-on fits.
That's how we first knew.Copy !req
194. I'm not going to leave you.Copy !req
195. I just won't.Copy !req
196. It was tremors, loss of muscle control...Copy !req
197. paralysis...Copy !req
198. and eventually suffocation and death.Copy !req
199. I don't know if I want to go through
all that with someone watching me.Copy !req
200. How's it going?Copy !req
201. Is it a code, then?Copy !req
202. Um...Copy !req
203. Yeah, probably.Copy !req
204. In part one, people always thought
this was binary or dates, but...Copy !req
205. no-one has ever been able to work it out.Copy !req
206. But...Copy !req
207. in this...Copy !req
208. Part...Copy !req
209. there's a corresponding page...Copy !req
210. The numbers are boring.Copy !req
211. I like the art.Copy !req
212. Well, can you get in?Copy !req
213. Get in?Copy !req
214. I am in.Copy !req
215. It's UK security.Copy !req
216. Practically takes your shoes off
and makes you a cup of tea.Copy !req
217. It's the searches
that are taking the time.Copy !req
218. I'm having to make myself look like
a UFO nutter just to get below the radar,Copy !req
219. which means I've got to check
each database individually.Copy !req
220. Well, how many databases are there?Copy !req
221. 56,000. Or thereabouts.Copy !req
222. Tell you what,Copy !req
223. why don't you take the mobile unit outside
and check the civilian channels?Copy !req
224. No.Copy !req
225. I'll do it here.Copy !req
226. I wrote it in.Copy !req
227. Well, this looks like
we're getting somewhere.Copy !req
228. Only two to go.Copy !req
229. No,Copy !req
230. mate...Copy !req
231. I... I can't.Copy !req
232. I've been trying so hard,
but please, I can't,Copy !req
233. I can't... Please...Copy !req
234. Then we'll have to bring your mother in
and torture her in front of you.Copy !req
235. Please don't make me do that, Grant.Copy !req
236. - Hello?
- Hi, Anya, it's Michael.Copy !req
237. - Where is he?
- What?Copy !req
238. I... I... I don't know. I don't know!Copy !req
239. Christ! Christ, I'm not...Copy !req
240. I'm not... I'm not part of them,
I'm just...Copy !req
241. Look, look, look...
I was protecting my family!Copy !req
242. There is a woman here
who's having my child.Copy !req
243. I was just...Copy !req
244. I know where the vaccine is.Copy !req
245. I can help. Please!Copy !req
246. I want to help!Copy !req
247. Anya, no! It's fine. It's...Copy !req
248. Calm her down.Copy !req
249. Calm her the fuck down!Copy !req
250. Anya, Anya, please! Please. It's fine.
It's OK, he's not going to hurt us.Copy !req
251. OK? He has gun, Michael.Copy !req
252. I know. I just need to give him
some informationCopy !req
253. - and then it'll be OK...
- Information?Copy !req
254. Anya, please, I swear it'll be OK!Copy !req
255. No.Copy !req
256. Whoa! Anya's... Anya's pregnant.Copy !req
257. It's... it's my child.Copy !req
258. They blackmailed me.Copy !req
259. So, why are you helping us now?Copy !req
260. The vaccine goes out tomorrow.Copy !req
261. 64 million shots.Copy !req
262. The warehouse is at, erm...Copy !req
263. 164 Cantwell Way, Stevenage.Copy !req
264. You got a computer here?Copy !req
265. - Why?
- Google Maps.Copy !req
266. If there isn't a warehouse there,
I'm gonna blow your fucking brains out.Copy !req
267. I'm sorry.Copy !req
268. I... I was trying to protect people.Copy !req
269. I wanted my family safe...Copy !req
270. So you just handed us over?Copy !req
271. Michael? He make trouble, yes?Copy !req
272. - Please, I not trust...
- It's all right. Anya, please!Copy !req
273. It's all right, I promise!Copy !req
274. There.Copy !req
275. There. I-I-I... want to help.Copy !req
276. I can get you inside,
if you just trust me.Copy !req
277. Anya, no, don't! He's not...Copy !req
278. Oh, Anya, no! Don't, he's not what...Copy !req
279. (ENGLISH ACCENT) I have a situation.
I need to speak to Control now.Copy !req
280. Two minutes, no more, then.Copy !req
281. You're...Copy !req
282. You're... You're English?Copy !req
283. I... I... I don't...Copy !req
284. You're with them?Copy !req
285. Stay quiet if you want to live.Copy !req
286. Is your name even Anya?Copy !req
287. Oh, God.Copy !req
288. Oh, God. The baby...Copy !req
289. Is there...?Copy !req
290. No, no, but there were scans.Copy !req
291. - I saw scans...
- You speak again,Copy !req
292. I will fire this into your fucking face.
Understand?Copy !req
293. Oh, for fuck's sake!Copy !req
294. YOU OK?Copy !req
295. Is she...?Copy !req
296. We need to go.Copy !req
297. How's it going?Copy !req
298. I think I've found him.Copy !req
299. It's the minutes of a defence
department meeting in 1976,Copy !req
300. something called the Committee
of Genetic Discovery.Copy !req
301. Now, the document's redacted,Copy !req
302. the only information
is formal stuff, like time and placeCopy !req
303. and the names
of those attending.Copy !req
304. None of those names are Letan,Copy !req
305. but in the footnotes...Copy !req
306. a comment attributed to Letan.Copy !req
307. They changed his name
on all official documentation, but...Copy !req
308. they missed the footnote.Copy !req
309. So Letan was there.Copy !req
310. He's one of these people.Copy !req
311. Mm-hm.Copy !req
312. All we need to do is pull up their photos.Copy !req
313. Wilson...Copy !req
314. you've just found Mr Rabbit.Copy !req
315. There were 18 on the committee.
Of those, 14 were men.Copy !req
316. Six are dead, one's in a nursing home,
leaving these seven.Copy !req
317. One of them's Letan.Copy !req
318. One of them's Mr Rabbit.Copy !req
319. Do you recognise
any of these men?Copy !req
320. No.Copy !req
321. None.Copy !req
322. Do you?Copy !req
323. So, what do we do?Copy !req
324. We kill them.Copy !req
325. All of them.Copy !req
326. Are you serious?Copy !req
327. One of them is Mr Rabbit.Copy !req
328. But six of them aren't!Copy !req
329. It's called collateral damage.Copy !req
330. It's called psychopathy.
You can't just kill them all!Copy !req
331. I mean... where are they?Copy !req
332. How long will that take?Copy !req
333. So we make a start.Copy !req
334. Jessica, I need to tell you, you're
too emotionally involved in all this.Copy !req
335. Excuse me?Copy !req
336. I've read the manuscript. OK?Copy !req
337. I know what he did to you.Copy !req
338. But this weird, freaky,Copy !req
339. slightly sociopathic Oedipal thing you've
got going on is putting us all in danger.Copy !req
340. I swear to Christ, if you don't stop,
if you don't shut your fucking mouth...Copy !req
341. - He's with them!
- No, no, no, Alice! No, no, it's OK!Copy !req
342. It's all right!Copy !req
343. Fuck, Ian, you brought him here?Copy !req
344. M-My name is Michael Dugdale.
I'm with the Department of Health.Copy !req
345. Good. That'll help you
once I've cut your fucking face off!Copy !req
346. I know where the vaccine is.Copy !req
347. Th... They're releasing it tomorrow.Copy !req
348. The whole thing is going out overnight.Copy !req
349. Tomorrow morning,
it'll start going into people's arms,Copy !req
350. and there is such a lot of it.
There's 64 million shots.Copy !req
351. Why have you got a picture of him?Copy !req
352. Which one?Copy !req
353. That...Copy !req
354. That's Conran Letts' assistant.Copy !req
355. He's the man running Corvadt.Copy !req
356. Only one number to go, Grant.Copy !req
357. If I remember... can I go home, please?Copy !req
358. Absolutely.Copy !req
359. Of course you can.Copy !req
360. Jessica, it's broad daylight.
You can't just go in and whack him.Copy !req
361. Give me my gun.Copy !req
362. - And what about the warehouse?
- The vaccine is going out tonight.Copy !req
363. We really need to do something.Copy !req
364. What is the matter with you people?Copy !req
365. How many times do I have to tell you
this all stops when he dies?Copy !req
366. For God's sake, this is not
what you would normally do.Copy !req
367. You would at least wait until dark.Copy !req
368. Give me my gun.Copy !req
369. My knife can be opening your throat
very easily.Copy !req
370. I don't think you'd do that.Copy !req
371. - Ian...?
- Want to find out?Copy !req
372. Guys?Copy !req
373. I think there's something
you should see.Copy !req
374. Really.Copy !req
375. You should really see this.Copy !req
376. What is it?Copy !req
377. It's a molecule.Copy !req
378. It's Janus.Copy !req
379. This is what they've been looking for.Copy !req
380. The vaccine is a test,
to see if it works.Copy !req
381. But this... is the real thing.Copy !req
382. This is the real Janus.Copy !req
383. You did well to find all this.Copy !req
384. You're very clever.Copy !req
385. Don't patronise me.Copy !req
386. I like jigsaws.Copy !req
387. I... I'm sorry about Grant.Copy !req
388. I...Copy !req
389. I-I thought I was protecting my family.Copy !req
390. My wife and I...Copy !req
391. we wanted a child very badly.Copy !req
392. And we thought we had one.Copy !req
393. We had been trying for a very long time.Copy !req
394. IVF?Copy !req
395. My mum said she was going to do that
before I was born.Copy !req
396. Then I suddenly happened.Copy !req
397. She said I was a miracle.Copy !req
398. Little Mary Miracle, she called me.Copy !req
399. It annoyed me.Copy !req
400. They shot her.Copy !req
401. I saw it.Copy !req
402. Would... Would you like to talk about it?Copy !req
403. So he experimented on you?Copy !req
404. Carvel?Copy !req
405. It's in the manuscript.Copy !req
406. In the published version,
the devil imprisons me.Copy !req
407. But in the manuscript, it's my father...Copy !req
408. holding me, like all the others,
to use for experiments.Copy !req
409. I was hardly a living thing
as far as they were concerned.Copy !req
410. They both deserve death.Copy !req
411. And you think this is going to
make you feel better?Copy !req
412. Yeah.Copy !req
413. Yeah, I do, actually.Copy !req
414. Who have we got it going to?Copy !req
415. 46 scientists,
two Nobel laureates,Copy !req
416. nine politicians, several police forcesCopy !req
417. and... a shed load of journalists.Copy !req
418. So this is it.Copy !req
419. We press that button and...Copy !req
420. and everything's out there.Copy !req
421. All of it.Copy !req
422. Listen, Ian...Copy !req
423. do you think this is right?Copy !req
424. I mean, Janus is the biggest
thing in history, ever.Copy !req
425. And... we're here,Copy !req
426. at the centre of it.Copy !req
427. What are you talking about?Copy !req
428. There's a future comingCopy !req
429. where billions of us
are going to be born into poverty.Copy !req
430. And we're going to murder each other
in war for...Copy !req
431. water, food and oil.Copy !req
432. That's coming.Copy !req
433. Maybe in our lifetime.Copy !req

456. Well, you hit him with the gun.Copy !req
457. What, like, with the fat end?Copy !req
458. Yeah.Copy !req

464. They're based on the Wiegand protocol,Copy !req
465. which is actually quite sloppy.Copy !req
466. Now, if we can access the reader,
then maybe we can bar...Copy !req
467. Or, yeah, we could just do that.Copy !req
468. I don't get why there's no guards.Copy !req
469. I don't get it.Copy !req
470. You didn't send the e-mail.Copy !req

487. Please don't.Copy !req
488. (DEEP VOICE) S-Stand down, Alexi.Copy !req

is to pop in there,Copy !req
515. close your eyes very tight
and count to 99. Will you do that for me?Copy !req
516. And, Alice, it's very important
that you don't run or hide, OK?Copy !req
517. Good girl.Copy !req
518. You...Copy !req
519. You're not going to kill us?Copy !req
520. Why would I kill you?Copy !req
521. - But you sent Alice in...

before returning.Copy !req
538. We're pretending it's a holiday.Copy !req
539. That's how long she reckons they'll

540. she has the manuscript.Copy !req
541. We have to give it to her.Copy !req
542. Jessica?Copy !req
543. She needs it to end all this.Copy !req
544. So, what?Copy !req
545. Alice is going with him?Copy !req
546. Yeah.Copy !req
