1. You there! Stop!Copy !req
2. Stop thief! Police!Copy !req
3. What's my number one rule?Copy !req
4. The clients drink, you sip.Copy !req
5. - Is Nishikawa-san upset with me?
- I'll take care of it.Copy !req
6. Gargle and get back
out there. Okay?Copy !req
7. Okay.Copy !req
8. Joanna.Copy !req
9. Nishikawa-san. Minami will be
right out. Next bottle's on me.Copy !req
10. Thank you.Copy !req
11. This is Joanna.Copy !req
12. That is a beautiful suit.Copy !req
13. - Another bottle?
- Of course.Copy !req
14. Ohno-san, as I was saying.
I was thinking...Copy !req
15. - Suzuki-sama.
- Yeah!Copy !req
16. - Welcome to Club Polina.
- Good evening.Copy !req
17. - This way, please.
- Thank you.Copy !req
18. No skinny pours, Kenji.
Be generous.Copy !req
19. We're watching you, Kenji.Copy !req
20. You may be cute,
but we don't trust you.Copy !req
21. Everyone.Copy !req
22. Our two-month anniversary.Copy !req
23. Kanpai.Copy !req
24. I know how hard you've all been
working since we opened.Copy !req
25. And while
there's room for improvement,Copy !req
26. Minami...Copy !req
27. You're all doing great.
Thank you.Copy !req
28. And a special thank you to Club Polina's
number-one girl, Claudine.Copy !req
29. Thank you, Mama-san.Copy !req
30. - Have a good night.
- Good night.Copy !req
31. Enjoy your afters.Copy !req
32. - Stay safe.
- Okay.Copy !req
33. - See you tomorrow.
- Good night.Copy !req
34. Claudine, can I get
your help for a minute?Copy !req
35. Did you see me with that big-spending
architect, Ohno-san? The man buys.Copy !req
36. He's coming in again
tomorrow night.Copy !req
37. - One of the girls is stealing.
- Are you sure?Copy !req
38. Receipts don't match the inventory.
I'm down a million yen this month.Copy !req
39. - What do you think I should do?
- I mean, find out who it is, right?Copy !req
40. Then confront her.Copy !req
41. Yeah. Makes sense.Copy !req
42. So, why are you stealing
from me, Claudine?Copy !req
43. Samantha, if half your customers are
here for me, it's not really stealing...Copy !req
44. Is it?
I'm just taking my fair cut.Copy !req
45. You'll start paying me back tonight.Copy !req
46. Take it out of your pay.
It should take about eight weeks.Copy !req
47. Really, you think I'm gonna
stick around for that?Copy !req
48. You know who owns half of this club.
You cannot steal their moneyCopy !req
49. and go set up shop
somewhere else.Copy !req
50. Go ahead,
whistle for your thugs.Copy !req
51. I'll tell them you don't know
how to keep track of their money.Copy !req
52. I'll have the keys
to this place in ten minutes.Copy !req
53. You're fired.Copy !req
54. Fine.Copy !req
55. I'm taking all my clients.
Especially that big-spending architect.Copy !req
56. You're going to be fucked
without the money that I bring.Copy !req
57. I'll take my chances.Copy !req
58. You are like a tigress.Copy !req
59. What? I can't give you
a compliment?Copy !req
60. Not if it sounds like a bad
romance novel.Copy !req
61. I have to go to work. So do you.Copy !req
62. Quit the Meicho.
Come work for me at Shukan Forum.Copy !req
63. What, you'd rather keep working
for Baku?Copy !req
64. - That right-wing asshole?
- You're still holding that grudge.Copy !req
65. Not a grudge, a fact.
The way he talks about Zainichi.Copy !req
66. He doesn't do that
in front of me.Copy !req
67. That's because he doesn't know
about you.Copy !req
68. Shingo. The Meicho is my home.Copy !req
69. Let's go away. This weekend.Copy !req
70. Ryo's mother will take him
to baseball practice.Copy !req
71. Your wife will do that for you?Copy !req
72. Ex-wife.Copy !req
73. It's her weekend.
So I'm free and clear.Copy !req
74. I can't.Copy !req
75. Your brother will be fine.Copy !req
76. You know that's not true.Copy !req
77. Bye.Copy !req
78. Dad's 60th is in two months.Copy !req
79. Mom's got a big thing planned,
and your presence is mandatory.Copy !req
80. When you called and told Dad
you were thinking of coming home,Copy !req
81. it really hurt him
when you didn't.Copy !req
82. This is your chance
to make it up to him, okay?Copy !req
83. And you should actually
make me a tape for once.Copy !req
84. Because, Joshua, I'm the only person
in this world who actually likes you.Copy !req
85. - What is he yelling about now?
- We do not know.Copy !req
86. Is he still on you about that
Metropolitan Assembly piece?Copy !req
87. He made me rewrite it twice.
Then reassigned it to Ichihara.Copy !req
88. I read your piece
about the traffic fatality scam.Copy !req
89. - It's good, Jake-san.
- Thanks, man.Copy !req
90. Yeah, I just wish they hadn't buried it
all the way in the back.Copy !req
91. You've started getting bylines
and you are complaining?Copy !req
92. Jake! Now.Copy !req
93. Your piece in this
morning's paper is good.Copy !req
94. The last three months,
your work has been excellent.Copy !req
95. Thank you, Maruyama-san.Copy !req
96. I have what look to be two big stories.
You tell me which one you want.Copy !req
97. Yeah, sure. Okay.Copy !req
98. "Motorcycle thefts are way up.
Shinjuku, Asakusa, Shibuya."Copy !req
99. A lot of our readers
ride motorcycles, even Baku.Copy !req
100. Well, he rides a scooter.Copy !req
101. What's the other one?Copy !req
102. "Dead body found last night
in a pawn shop."Copy !req
103. Police think he's yakuza.Copy !req
104. I'll take the motorcycle story.Copy !req
105. Make sure and get a quote
from a cop.Copy !req
106. Thank you.Copy !req
107. - Let's go.
- Yes, sir.Copy !req
108. The yakuza are ruthless men.Copy !req
109. And this is a serious accusation.Copy !req
110. Are you certain
you wish to make it?Copy !req
111. COMPLAINT DEPARTMENTCopy !req
112. Like I told you. My Hojicha tea
from Ibaraki never arrived.Copy !req
113. Six bags. Who else but yakuza
would steal them?Copy !req
114. Thank you for filing
your complaint.Copy !req
115. We will, of course, investigate.Copy !req
116. You'd better.Copy !req
117. Do you also have a yakuza-related
citizen's complaint to file?Copy !req
118. Actually, I'm on a story.Copy !req
119. Do you know
anything about motorcycle theft?Copy !req
120. You must have me confused
with a real policeman.Copy !req
121. Please allow me to take my
esteemed friend for a coffee.Copy !req
122. Is that a problem?Copy !req
123. So, this is your new position?Copy !req
124. "Organized Crime
Consultation Department"?Copy !req
125. How much longer do you have to stay
there and take that punishment?Copy !req
126. I was held officially responsible
for Miyamoto's death. So...Copy !req
127. I must count myself lucky
I was not fired.Copy !req
128. - How is your work, Jake?
- Good. Busy.Copy !req
129. I'm keeping my nose clean.
As you said,Copy !req
130. "Other crimes to be exposed,
other wrongs to be righted."Copy !req
131. Any word on Tozawa?Copy !req
132. The same.Copy !req
133. You know, he tried to go
to the United States.Copy !req
134. Then... nothing.Copy !req
135. Have you received anything else
from whoever sent you that tape?Copy !req
136. Then...Copy !req
137. You have your work to do
and I have mine.Copy !req
138. But...Copy !req
139. After three months of silence,
perhaps the truth...Copy !req
140. Is right in front of us.Copy !req
141. If you think he's dead...Copy !req
142. Why are Junko and the
kids still living out of town?Copy !req
143. It's complicated.Copy !req
144. I wish I could help you
with your story, Jake.Copy !req
145. Well, it was a good excuse to get
you out of prison for an hour.Copy !req
146. In this celebration of liberation,
we humbly ask Oyabun to speak.Copy !req
147. Our brother Hayama has
returned from... "university."Copy !req
148. We welcome back our brother.Copy !req
149. Welcome back, brother!Copy !req
150. Seven years in Fuchu.
Served on our behalf.Copy !req
151. Starting today, he will serve
directly below me,Copy !req
152. as wakagashira.Copy !req
153. Hayama.Copy !req
154. As the first son
of this family...Copy !req
155. I will stand by your side.Copy !req
156. My life dedicatedCopy !req
157. to our mission.Copy !req
158. And Sato, having fully recovered
from his injuries...Copy !req
159. Will resume his role as
wakagashira-daiko...Copy !req
160. And will answer to Hayama.Copy !req
161. I will do as my oyabun commands.Copy !req
162. And what of Tozawa?Copy !req
163. It's been three months since
anyone saw him.Copy !req
164. And his gumi is quiet.Copy !req
165. So what are we waiting for?Copy !req
166. Tozawa-gumi without Tozawa
is a rotting house.Copy !req
167. One kick and it'll collapse.Copy !req
168. So we will take back Kabukicho
from them.Copy !req
169. Luckily, we have you back.
You will lead this.Copy !req
170. Oyabun, there will be retaliation.
We should be prepared.Copy !req
171. I've been preparing
for seven years.Copy !req
172. How old are you, baby brother?Copy !req
173. Sato has earned our respect.Copy !req
174. Don't treat him like a kid.Copy !req
175. Oyabun, should we consider
procuring some "tools"?Copy !req
176. Never. There is no honor
in guns.Copy !req
177. My apologies.Copy !req
178. If we fight it will be
eye to eye,Copy !req
179. not at a distance like cowards.Copy !req
180. Sato... Resume your duties.
Fill our coffers.Copy !req
181. That is all. Understand?Copy !req
182. Yes, Oyabun.Copy !req
183. Dismissed.Copy !req
184. Sato. There's something I need
you to do.Copy !req
185. 8F CLUB POLINACopy !req
186. - Hey!
- Hey! Hey, you were right.Copy !req
187. This Minekawa Takako...
is the shit.Copy !req
188. Oh, good. You know,
you could buy your own music.Copy !req
189. Oh, with the price
you charge for drinks?Copy !req
190. I gotta conserve my resources.Copy !req
191. - So, how's business?
- Great.Copy !req
192. Is being the big boss
everything you expected?Copy !req
193. Just, you know, having
responsibility changes things.Copy !req
194. Like what?Copy !req
195. Like, I find myself
lecturing my girls onCopy !req
196. not showing too much cleavage
and cursing so much.Copy !req
197. This is you we're talking about?Copy !req
198. I know, right? How about you?
Still avoiding the yakuza?Copy !req
199. Yeah, still staying off
the sauce.Copy !req
200. Actually, the work I'm doing now,
I can see it make a difference.Copy !req
201. - Like, an actual difference.
- That's great.Copy !req
202. I'm actually working on this big story
right now. Motorcycle theft.Copy !req
203. I was wondering if you might know
anyone who might know anything.Copy !req
204. Okay, now we get to the real reason
you just happened to stop by.Copy !req
205. God.Copy !req
206. Okay. Yeah. My...Copy !req
207. my body guy in Ayase might...Copy !req
208. possibly walk a little
in alternative markets.Copy !req
209. No guarantees.Copy !req
210. Watch yourself. Don't be stupid.Copy !req
211. "Don't be stupid."
I'll have to remember that.Copy !req
212. Thank you.Copy !req
213. Just put it here.Copy !req
214. Thank you
for filing your complaint.Copy !req
215. If the yakuza try to steal your
cat again, please let us know.Copy !req
216. Thank you so much!Copy !req
217. Detective Funaki.Copy !req
218. - Good to see you.
- You too, Katagiri-san.Copy !req
219. Everything going well down here?Copy !req
220. As well as could be expected.Copy !req
221. The woman from
the National Police Agency...Copy !req
222. Wants to talk to you.Copy !req
223. What woman?Copy !req
224. NATIONAL POLICE AGENCY
DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT NAGATACopy !req
225. Come in!Copy !req
226. Nothing.Copy !req
227. Yes, today. Thank you.Copy !req
228. - You asked to see me.
- Detective Katagiri. Have a seat.Copy !req
229. I'm Shoko Nagata, from the NPA.Copy !req
230. How may I be of assistance?Copy !req
231. I need someone in this
department to work with me.Copy !req
232. I hear no one knows the yakuza
better than you.Copy !req
233. I see.Copy !req
234. I also hear that you believe in keeping
balance between the factions.Copy !req
235. Yes. I do.Copy !req
236. That's bullshit.Copy !req
237. Citizens lives are destroyed
by criminal debt.Copy !req
238. Drugs flood the streets.Copy !req
239. And we're supposed to keep
"balance"?Copy !req
240. You would have them stabbing
each other in the streets?Copy !req
241. Fine with me if yakuza
kill one another.Copy !req
242. I see. What would you have us
do instead?Copy !req
243. I have been authorized to create
a new task forceCopy !req
244. to combat organized crime
in Tokyo.Copy !req
245. Using new strategies that have
proved very effective elsewhere.Copy !req
246. How effective?Copy !req
247. Effective enough that we can
smash the yakuzaCopy !req
248. in this city once and for all.Copy !req
249. I need a partner.Copy !req
250. Detective Katagiri.Copy !req
251. Tell me you haven't been waiting
for this opportunity.Copy !req
252. I wish you great success.Copy !req
253. But I am not available
to join you.Copy !req
254. How's school?Copy !req
255. Good. It's hard.Copy !req
256. It should be hard.Copy !req
257. Did you like school?Copy !req
258. School didn't like me.Copy !req
259. I wanted to speak to you...Copy !req
260. About money.Copy !req
261. I gave you money last month.Copy !req
262. I know.Copy !req
263. But my tuition is going up.Copy !req
264. And Father's pension is less
than Mother thought it would be.Copy !req
265. Does she know you're asking me?Copy !req
266. I don't have more to give you.Copy !req
267. But I'm working on something.Copy !req
268. If it pans out,
I'll have more for you.Copy !req
269. What if I worked for you
instead?Copy !req
270. Seriously. Let me earn it.Copy !req
271. I'm a hard worker.Copy !req
272. How good are you
with a computer?Copy !req
273. Good.Copy !req
274. Otsuka-san?Copy !req
275. What?Copy !req
276. My friend Samantha...
Owns a club in Akasaka.Copy !req
277. Samantha.Copy !req
278. Kawasaki Samantha? Okay.
Bring your bike by tomorrow.Copy !req
279. I don't have a motorcycle.Copy !req
280. Wait. She says you're the best
mechanic in Tokyo.Copy !req
281. I'm a reporter.Copy !req
282. Looking into why so many bikes
are stolen.Copy !req
283. That's not news, is it?Copy !req
284. Parts are worth more than bikes.Copy !req
285. Bike companies only make enough
parts for their new models.Copy !req
286. There are millions of
motorcycles in Tokyo.Copy !req
287. Parts companies can't make that
many crank shafts, or whatever.Copy !req
288. So where do you get them?Copy !req
289. Every bike is an organ donor.Copy !req
290. Worth more chopped up
than whole.Copy !req
291. Any chance you could tell me
where I could find a...Copy !req
292. Supplier of parts?Copy !req
293. You're a friend of Samantha's?Copy !req
294. Like a brother.Copy !req
295. You do have skills.Copy !req
296. - What are we selling?
- What?Copy !req
297. Sneakers. I've got a warehouse
full of them in Yokohama.Copy !req
298. Cool.Copy !req
299. You're doing this with me.
Not Chihara-kai.Copy !req
300. We finish this project,
that's it for you.Copy !req
301. Understand?Copy !req
302. Alright.Copy !req
303. So how's this work?Copy !req
304. A customer fills in
this order form.Copy !req
305. Then the software sends them
an emailCopy !req
306. about where to wire the money.Copy !req
307. Once the payment's confirmed,
your people ship the sneakers.Copy !req
308. What?Copy !req
309. There are no sneakers,
are there?Copy !req
310. A sneaker store in Shinjuku
couldn't pay its loan back.Copy !req
311. I took their inventory instead.Copy !req
312. So this is legit?Copy !req
313. Sorry to disappoint.Copy !req
314. Now, will you explain
one more time?Copy !req
315. Yabuki-san.Copy !req
316. Please.Copy !req
317. Why hasn't he called me?
Where is he?Copy !req
318. That's not your concern.Copy !req
319. Is he coming back?Copy !req
320. - Is he... well?
- See her out.Copy !req
321. Gentlemen, I commend you
on your choice.Copy !req
322. Normally I recommend a single
malt be drunk neat...Copy !req
323. But Glenmorangie improves
with a little ice.Copy !req
324. Here you are.
Excuse me.Copy !req
325. Ohno-san, I am so glad
you're here.Copy !req
326. I've been hoping to talk to you.Copy !req
327. That's very kind of you.
Is Claudine here?Copy !req
328. Claudine has chosen to pursue
other career interests.Copy !req
329. What a pity! She was always
a wonderful conversationalist.Copy !req
330. To be honest, good conversation
is the minimum standard I expect here.Copy !req
331. I'm afraid you might've
been shortchanged.Copy !req
332. Allow me to personally remedy that?Copy !req
333. Another time perhaps.Copy !req
334. I hope to see you soon.Copy !req
335. Good evening, Samantha-san.Copy !req
336. Cool.Copy !req
337. Is that a Suzuki?Copy !req
338. All Suzuki?Copy !req
339. Who the fuck are you?Copy !req
340. Can I buy you guys dinner?Copy !req
341. I'm a reporter for the Meicho.Copy !req
342. Let's have a free meal.Copy !req
343. Delicious.Copy !req
344. - Give me some of that.
- Get it for him!Copy !req
345. Tats, your bike's muffler
is crazy man!Copy !req
346. Your bike is pretty lame.Copy !req
347. I'd get a new one
in a heartbeat.Copy !req
348. No way. He doesn't have
any money.Copy !req
349. I can't believe
you'd say that.Copy !req
350. Which came first, being friends
or riding motorcycles?Copy !req
351. How much do they pay you
for an article?Copy !req
352. You don't get rich writing
for newspapers.Copy !req
353. So, how did you all start
hanging out?Copy !req
354. How much do you pay us
for the article?Copy !req
355. I can't pay you.Copy !req
356. It's not allowed.Copy !req
357. Then why the fuck
would we do this?Copy !req
358. Because you'll look cool.Copy !req
359. By being in a newspaper?Copy !req
360. Hey sis, who reads newspapers?Copy !req
361. Our grandfather does...
Oh wait.Copy !req
362. He's dead.Copy !req
363. She said it!Copy !req
364. You're lying.Copy !req
365. - My dear grandpa never said that.
- Shut up!Copy !req
366. - You're wrong.
- Stop talking. Stop talking.Copy !req
367. Thanks.Copy !req
368. You can buy us dinner any time.Copy !req
369. Until next time!Copy !req
370. Hey. Gaijin.Copy !req
371. You didn't leave enough
for the bill.Copy !req
372. You trying to make us
look cheap?Copy !req
373. That's all the money I have.Copy !req
374. I didn't know you'd order
for twelve.Copy !req
375. You calling us pigs?Copy !req
376. - I didn't say that.
- Kick his ass, Tats!Copy !req
377. Don't be stupid.Copy !req
378. What did you say?Copy !req
379. Tats!Copy !req
380. You alright?Copy !req
381. I'm fine.Copy !req
382. You're alright, Meicho.Copy !req
383. Okay, you can hang with us.Copy !req
384. But no real names.Copy !req
385. And you show me everything
you do. Photos too.Copy !req
386. This gaijin's crazy.Copy !req
387. We haven't paid yet.
Let's go back in.Copy !req
388. One moment.
I'll be right with you.Copy !req
389. Your place looks good.Copy !req
390. Thanks.Copy !req
391. I'm sorry
for not getting in touch.Copy !req
392. Yeah.Copy !req
393. I called a lot.Copy !req
394. I know.Copy !req
395. I went to your offices.Copy !req
396. They said you were somewhere safe.
"Recovering."Copy !req
397. They wouldn't tell me
anything else.Copy !req
398. What happened?Copy !req
399. Tell me.Copy !req
400. A knife in the stomach.Copy !req
401. It's okay. It turns out I have
very hard internal organs.Copy !req
402. I'm sorry about your friend.
And for not doing more.Copy !req
403. I'm sorry for expecting you to.Copy !req
404. Are you taking over
for Kobayashi?Copy !req
405. Good.Copy !req
406. So, you came by to check in?Copy !req
407. I came to tell you
that you must rehire Claudine.Copy !req
408. - Excuse me?
- She must work here.Copy !req
409. Sato, she stole from me.Copy !req
410. - She's really fucked me.
- This is Oyabun's order.Copy !req
411. Tell Ishida-san, the last time
that I checked, our contract...Copy !req
412. as long as he gets his money,
I run the club the way I want.Copy !req
413. Samantha.
You need to do this.Copy !req
414. Trust me.Copy !req
415. You need to hear
what I'm saying.Copy !req
416. My club... my rules.Copy !req
417. Thanks for stopping by.Copy !req
418. I think Jake's story
could be a feature.Copy !req
419. Bosozoku gangs are old news.Copy !req
420. We've covered them plenty
over the years.Copy !req
421. But no one's ever had access
to them like this.Copy !req
422. The focus will be these kids.
Fallen through the cracks.Copy !req
423. They trust you?Copy !req
424. So far.Copy !req
425. Okay. See where it takes you.Copy !req
426. Thank you.Copy !req
427. New batch.
Be honest.Copy !req
428. - You made those?
- Last night. Butter cookies.Copy !req
429. Dude! You're wasting
your talents here.Copy !req
430. - I used a very light maple glaze.
- You're a rock star. Really.Copy !req
431. Don't give all those away, okay?
Save me some?Copy !req
432. - Don't give 'em all away.
- Sure.Copy !req
433. Rock star.Copy !req
434. Hello, Mama-san.Copy !req
435. Hello, wild child.Copy !req
436. I don't know what I would've done
if you hadn't hired me.Copy !req
437. I knew you'd be a good hostess.Copy !req
438. Club Destiny was a great place
to start.Copy !req
439. Better than Club Onyx
you went to next.Copy !req
440. - Am I right?
- Right.Copy !req
441. I'm sorry that I left.
Just disappeared.Copy !req
442. I'm really sorry.Copy !req
443. Is this what those phone messages
were about months ago?Copy !req
444. I called you back the next day.Copy !req
445. Yeah. I meant to call you back again.
I'm sorry about that, too.Copy !req
446. Thank you. I was angry.Copy !req
447. But that's also
in the past now.Copy !req
448. And look at you now, Samantha.Copy !req
449. Five years on, your own club.Copy !req
450. Good for you.Copy !req
451. For you, too, Erika-san,
if you'd like.Copy !req
452. I need a number-one girl.Copy !req
453. I got out for a reason,
you know.Copy !req
454. I'll give you half of all
your table charges.Copy !req
455. Half of every bottle you sell.Copy !req
456. Samantha,
you must be desperate.Copy !req
457. Mama, I'm not tired anymore.Copy !req
458. I want my pikachu.Copy !req
459. I'll come and fetch him
in a minute.Copy !req
460. Daichi. Say hi to my friend
Samantha-san.Copy !req
461. Samantha-san?Copy !req
462. She's a very important
business woman.Copy !req
463. - Hello.
- Hello, Daichi. You are a very cute boy.Copy !req
464. - She called you cute.
- I am cute!Copy !req
465. I had no idea.Copy !req
466. It was a surprise to me, too.Copy !req
467. Just come tonight.Copy !req
468. Same offer. Plus I'll pay for a sitter,
get you a ride home.Copy !req
469. The girls are great. The place is great.
And I trust you.Copy !req
470. What do you think, Dai-chan?
Should I take Samantha-san's money?Copy !req
471. Take it.
Can I have some too?Copy !req
472. Really?Copy !req
473. Why do you speak Japanese?Copy !req
474. Hello, Auntie.Copy !req
475. Who the hell are you?Copy !req
476. I know you.Copy !req
477. Oyabun sends his regards.Copy !req
478. Chihara-kai has no business here.Copy !req
479. Shall we do that again?Copy !req
480. What do you want?Copy !req
481. The money you've been giving
the Tozawa-gumi every month.Copy !req
482. This'll be twice a month.Copy !req
483. And if I find out you're paying
Tozawa anything...Copy !req
484. I come back and break all your
pretty boys' noses.Copy !req
485. Yours too.Copy !req
486. Tozawa won't stand for this.Copy !req
487. Tozawa's gone.Copy !req
488. His people come here,
you tell them Hayama is back.Copy !req
489. Kabukicho belongs
to Chihara-kai.Copy !req
490. You keep telling yourself that.Copy !req
491. That's how you keep the order,
little brother.Copy !req
492. Chihara-kai's gone soft
since I went away.Copy !req
493. But Hayama's back now.Copy !req
494. Look at you. So worried they're
gonna retaliate.Copy !req
495. I fucking hope they do.Copy !req
496. I look forward to it.Copy !req
497. It's been three months.
Not a word.Copy !req
498. And I have done nothing
to provoke his men.Copy !req
499. The danger is passed.Copy !req
500. You and the girls can come home.Copy !req
501. Or you could retire
and move here.Copy !req
502. And we would make this our home.
The girls love it here.Copy !req
503. My new position keeps me from
any interaction with yakuza.Copy !req
504. I'm sure, but...Copy !req
505. Are you happy sitting there
all day...Copy !req
506. Listening to old ladies'
complaintsCopy !req
507. until you retire?Copy !req
508. That is what I thought.Copy !req
509. You are a good man who always
wants to do the right thing.Copy !req
510. But I cannot put the girls
at risk anymore.Copy !req
511. So you need to think about what
the right thing is now.Copy !req
512. - I like riding loud.
- Why?Copy !req
513. Because normal people
fucking hate itCopy !req
514. and want you to be quiet.Copy !req
515. I'd rather get high, fuck girls,Copy !req
516. and steal bikes
than live like them.Copy !req
517. If I steal enough bikes?Copy !req
518. I pay for my sister to get
a spot in private school.Copy !req
519. Get her out of here.Copy !req
520. Yeah?Copy !req
521. Where?Copy !req
522. Stay there.Copy !req
523. Get on.Copy !req
524. You want a story or not?Copy !req
525. - You Kota's friend?
- Yeah.Copy !req
526. Come in.Copy !req
527. Tokarev. Holds eight rounds.Copy !req
528. For you, three hundred thousand.
'Cause you're Kota's friend.Copy !req
529. What do you say?Copy !req
530. Hey!Copy !req
531. Can you get more?Copy !req
532. I thought you yakuza
didn't fuck with these.Copy !req
533. Always good to be prepared.Copy !req
534. Three hundred.Copy !req
535. - And make this hallway narrower.
- Understood.Copy !req
536. Hello!Copy !req
537. Ohno-san.
It's Samantha, from Club Polina.Copy !req
538. I seem to be very popular today.Copy !req
539. - Claudine called me as well.
- Did she?Copy !req
540. It seems she has decided to ply
her trade at a different club.Copy !req
541. I see. Well... I have been seriously
considering your caseCopy !req
542. and have taken decisive actions
to retain your loyalty.Copy !req
543. Which is why I have engaged
the most beautifulCopy !req
544. and charming woman
in all of TokyoCopy !req
545. to dedicate herself tonight
to entertaining you.Copy !req
546. This may be true,
but it isn't very modest of you.Copy !req
547. I'm referring
to my good friend, Erika.Copy !req
548. And it is, I promise you,
quite true.Copy !req
549. That's hard to prove,
but I will come in,Copy !req
550. and I'll give your place
another try tonight.Copy !req
551. - I am very pleased to hear that.
- If you agree to grace my table.Copy !req
552. No one else.
Just you.Copy !req
553. My bike's around the corner.Copy !req
554. You set your watch for thirty seconds.Copy !req
555. That's how long you have
to drill the ignition.Copy !req
556. - Okay.
- Any longer, you walk.Copy !req
557. What are you doing?
Watch the street.Copy !req
558. If anyone comes let me know.Copy !req
559. I'm a reporter.
I can't aid in committing a crime.Copy !req
560. But you can watch?Copy !req
561. C'mon. Stop being a bitch.Copy !req
562. Go, now. Hurry!Copy !req
563. Don't piss me off.Copy !req
564. The bike was over there.Copy !req
565. Hey, do you lot know
where Roppongi is?Copy !req
566. Where the girls and the clubs
and the bars are at?Copy !req
567. I learned a Japanese song.Copy !req
568. Hey. It's a good song.
It's a famous song, I bet you know it.Copy !req
569. Maybe another time.Copy !req
570. That's my motorcycle!Copy !req
571. I have a joke for you.Copy !req
572. - Can you gentlemen handle it?
- Of course.Copy !req
573. Wait a minute. No...Copy !req
574. I had no idea that investors
were so wicked.Copy !req
575. - They are.
- Okay, what about you?Copy !req
576. What are architects really like?Copy !req
577. - Me?
- Yeah.Copy !req
578. We are confidence men.Copy !req
579. We convince our clients
we see the future,Copy !req
580. that their building
will look beautiful,Copy !req
581. that it will fit in its setting.Copy !req
582. Okay, okay.Copy !req
583. You know, I used to work for a man
who said hostesses sell dreams.Copy !req
584. I don't think that's true.Copy !req
585. So, what are you selling?Copy !req
586. What am I selling?Copy !req
587. What am I selling?Copy !req
588. A place where confidence men
can come and be honest.Copy !req
589. Then, honestly...Copy !req
590. this is the best evening
I've had in a long time.Copy !req
591. Erika, you're hilarious!Copy !req
592. Me, too.Copy !req
593. I'm so glad.Copy !req
594. Detective. You're here late.Copy !req
595. Your new strategies.Copy !req
596. What about them?Copy !req
597. What do you need from me?Copy !req
598. I need you to be done
with balance.Copy !req
599. Yes.
Time to go home.Copy !req
600. - A little extra, with my thanks.
- What?Copy !req
601. - No, Samantha. It's too much.
- You're kidding.Copy !req
602. You got Nishikawa-san to buy more bottles
tonight than he did in a week.Copy !req
603. Honestly?Copy !req
604. - I forgot how good I was.
- And you had fun too, right?Copy !req
605. I did.Copy !req
606. Hey,
I wanted to ask you earlier.Copy !req
607. Who's your pretty friend?Copy !req
608. Polina.Copy !req
609. The club's named after her.Copy !req
610. - She died. Three months ago.
- Oh, Samantha, I'm so sorry.Copy !req
611. That night I left you
all the voicemails...Copy !req
612. that was the night
I found out she died.Copy !req
613. I called you because
I didn't have anyone else.Copy !req
614. - No.
- So, I'm really glad you're here.Copy !req
615. Me, too.Copy !req
616. I need a locker.
Store some papers.Copy !req
617. Help yourself.Copy !req
618. No Saturdays. Your other girls
can do "losers night."Copy !req
619. - And I want one night a week for Daichi.
- Fine.Copy !req
620. I will take my number-one girl
as many nights as I can get her.Copy !req
621. - Great.
- Sato-san.Copy !req
622. Will you drive Erika-san home?Copy !req
623. I have to stay and finish up.Copy !req
624. Don't worry, I don't bite...Copy !req
625. Much.Copy !req
626. - Fine. Let's go.
- That's very kind of you.Copy !req
627. - 'Night, Erika-san.
- 'Night, Mama-san.Copy !req
628. IS THIS A REBELLION
AGAINST SOCIETY...Copy !req
629. OR IS IT A CRY FOR HELP?Copy !req
630. This is Adelstein.Copy !req
631. I'm sending in my motorcycle
gang article now.Copy !req
632. - Hello!
- It's me.Copy !req
633. Would you like to come over?Copy !req
634. - Hi.
- Hi.Copy !req
635. I saw one of your articles
in yesterday's paper.Copy !req
636. Yeah?Copy !req
637. It was very good.Copy !req
638. Thanks.Copy !req
639. I wanted to call you after you came
about the Yoshino, but...Copy !req
640. it wasn't safe.Copy !req
641. Yeah, I figured.
That's why I stayed away.Copy !req
642. I haven't seen or heard from him
in monthsCopy !req
643. and his men do not seem
concerned with me anymore.Copy !req
644. You know this is
a really bad idea, right?Copy !req
645. Yes.Copy !req
