26. and bonked Percy's driver and fireman off the footplate.

27. Percy slid past the board. “That's enough!"

28. Percy was sunk.

32. It was dark when the floating cranes arrived. Percy was too cold to move.

33. Next day, he was sent to the works on Henry's goods train.

34. “Did you like the water?" chuckled Henry.

35. "No." “You need more determination.

36. “Water's nothing to a determined engine - perhaps you'll like it better next time.”

37. Percy is determined that there won't be a next time.
