1. Keep going.Copy !req
2. Keep going.
That's the way.Copy !req
3. Don't stop now.Copy !req
4. Oh, come on,
keep pushing.Copy !req
5. No pain, no gain.Copy !req
6. I want five more steps,
and then you're done.Copy !req
7. Uh-huh.Copy !req
8. Four... three...Copy !req
9. good.Copy !req
10. And... super.Copy !req
11. And... super.Copy !req
12. Hit it.Copy !req
13. Nice and easy.Copy !req
14. You're really
coming along, Bobby.Copy !req
15. I'm very pleased
with your improvement.Copy !req
16. Back off.Copy !req
17. Two fingers on yourCopy !req
18. pepper spray, just
like I told you.Copy !req
19. Mr. Piero, is all this
really necessary?Copy !req
20. Yes, ma'am.Copy !req
21. I'd say it is.Copy !req
22. So, what's this
guy's story?Copy !req
23. Cop killer.Copy !req
24. Regular people killer.Copy !req
25. General all-around
waste of skin.Copy !req
26. So, what are
you scared of?Copy !req
27. The guy's a
freaking vegetable.Copy !req
28. I mean, what's
he going to do,Copy !req
29. run over you with his
big plastic wheel?Copy !req
30. I'll tell you what.Copy !req
31. You want to last here
more than a week,Copy !req
32. you don't ever
underestimate this man.Copy !req
33. Never trust him.Copy !req
34. Never let your guard down
around him— never.Copy !req
35. Capisce?Copy !req
36. Capisce?Copy !req
37. Comprendo.Copy !req
38. What's up, Modell?Copy !req
39. Hey, Chuck?Copy !req
40. What the hell
happened, Chuck?Copy !req
41. Where's Modell?Copy !req
42. He had to go.Copy !req
43. The orderly is
being questioned,Copy !req
44. but judging by
his mental state,Copy !req
45. he's not going to be
much help to us,Copy !req
46. so there's very little
we know for sure at this point.Copy !req
47. What we do know is that
the last confirmed bed checkCopy !req
48. was 2:04 a.m.Copy !req
49. As of 6:14 a.m., the subject
was reported escaped.Copy !req
50. Since then, there have beenCopy !req
51. no further sightings
or contact.Copy !req
52. How did this man make his way
out of the building?Copy !req
53. Every indication is he simply
walked out the front door.Copy !req
54. Due to the...Copy !req
55. unique natureCopy !req
56. of this investigation,Copy !req
57. the FBI will head
the manhunt.Copy !req
58. The Marshals Service
will lendCopy !req
59. their much-welcomed expertiseCopy !req
60. and will coordinate all
their efforts with myselfCopy !req
61. or my two designated S.A.C.'s,Copy !req
62. Agents Mulder and Scully.Copy !req
63. They apprehended the subject
the first time around.Copy !req
64. Agent Mulder.Copy !req
65. The subject's name
is Robert Patrick Modell.Copy !req
66. He's a serial killerCopy !req
67. responsible for at
least 17 murders.Copy !req
68. Specifically, he targets
law enforcement.Copy !req
69. In 1996, he caused the deaths
of an FBI agentCopy !req
70. In 1996, he caused the deaths
of an FBI agentCopy !req
71. and a Loudoun County
sheriff's deputy.Copy !req
72. It was all a game to him.Copy !req
73. He was looking for, in his
words, "a worthy adversary."Copy !req
74. To win makes himCopy !req
75. feel important.Copy !req
76. He likes to think of himself
as a Ronin,Copy !req
77. a warrior without a master,Copy !req
78. adhering to the budo,
the Japanese way of war.Copy !req
79. In truth, he's
a highly intelligent sociopathCopy !req
80. who has no fear of dying.Copy !req
81. In keeping with
his game archetype,Copy !req
82. he likes to leave clues.Copy !req
83. This is why we expect
to be contacted by himCopy !req
84. hopefully sooner
rather than later.Copy !req
85. hopefully sooner
rather than later.Copy !req
86. We fully expect him
to pick upCopy !req
87. exactly where he left off.
What did you mean beforeCopy !req
88. when you said he just walked
out of the building?Copy !req
89. Modell refers to himself
as "Pusher."Copy !req
90. Technically speaking,Copy !req
91. all of his victims' wounds
were self-inflicted.Copy !req
92. This man has a unique ability
to force his will upon others,Copy !req
93. to "push" his victims into
hurting or killing themselves.Copy !req
94. Say what?Copy !req
95. Okay, look, this is all
you need to know:Copy !req
96. Do not trust this man,
do not talk to him,Copy !req
97. do not engage him
in conversationCopy !req
98. even if he is unarmed.Copy !req
99. even if he is unarmed.Copy !req
100. Approach him
only with extraordinary caution,Copy !req
101. and then only
with adequate backup.Copy !req
102. So what's "adequate backup"?Copy !req
103. "Adequate backup"?Copy !req
104. Every cop you can
lay your hands on.Copy !req
105. Line up for your assignments.Copy !req
106. What's Modell's
condition?Copy !req
107. Extremely weakened.Copy !req
108. The doctors here say
that he can barely even walk.Copy !req
109. Oh, yeah?Copy !req
110. Yeah, Mulder,
I'm amazed he's even alive.Copy !req
111. The condition
that we last saw him in—Copy !req
112. comatose with
a bullet in the head.Copy !req
113. How did he recover?Copy !req
114. Well, apparently, one day,
about six months ago,Copy !req
115. Well, apparently, one day,
about six months ago,Copy !req
116. he simply woke up.Copy !req
117. It's unusual,
but it's not unheard of.Copy !req
118. What about his brain tumor that
was supposed to be killing him?Copy !req
119. It still is.Copy !req
120. Is there anybody on staff
here we can talk to?Copy !req
121. He has a physical therapist.Copy !req
122. Mulder?Copy !req
123. What if Modell plans
to pick up where he left off?Copy !req
124. Where does that leave you?Copy !req
125. You were his prime target.Copy !req
126. Should you even be heading
this investigation?Copy !req
127. As opposed to what?Copy !req
128. What's your point?Copy !req
129. That it's exactly what he wants:Copy !req
130. that once again,
you're playing his game.Copy !req
131. that once again,
you're playing his game.Copy !req
132. The escaped inmate,
Robert Patrick Modell,Copy !req
133. was convicted in 1996Copy !req
134. of charges stemming
from an incidentCopy !req
135. in which he brandished
a firearmCopy !req
136. in a downtown hospital.Copy !req
137. Two people died.Copy !req
138. Officials are cautioning
area residentsCopy !req
139. not to approach this man.Copy !req
140. He is considered to beCopy !req
141. extremely dangerous. Paul?Copy !req
142. extremely dangerous. Paul?Copy !req
143. Can I help you?Copy !req
144. Hi.Copy !req
145. You're not scared of snakes?Copy !req
146. Huh?Copy !req
147. Looks like a timber rattler.Copy !req
148. Hold on tight
to the neck now.Copy !req
149. Don't let it bite you.Copy !req
150. Don't drop it.Copy !req
151. You drop it,Copy !req
152. You drop it,Copy !req
153. it'll get you.Copy !req
154. Todd...Copy !req
155. do you think I could get
some service now?Copy !req
156. (breathless):
Yeah.Copy !req
157. Go into the back
and put the snake down.Copy !req
158. Uh, Diane, we're gonna runCopy !req
159. that videotape again
from this morning.Copy !req
160. Certainly, Paul.
This was the scene hereCopy !req
161. at Lorton Penitentiary
less than one hour ago.Copy !req
162. Agents of the Federal Bureau
of Investigation,Copy !req
163. along with
the U.S. Marshal ServiceCopy !req
164. and representatives
of local law enforcement,Copy !req
165. met to assemble
a multi-agency task...Copy !req
166. He couldn't have been
faking it completely.Copy !req
167. That's all I can say.Copy !req
168. The gunshot wound did
a hell of a lot of damage.Copy !req
169. You're the officer
that shot him.Copy !req
170. You're the officer
that shot him.Copy !req
171. It says here that Modell had
a visitor yesterday afternoon.Copy !req
172. Who?Copy !req
173. It's marked "LSC."Copy !req
174. Little Sisters of Charity.Copy !req
175. They try to visit
all the hospitalized inmates.Copy !req
176. Did Modell ever get
any other visitorsCopy !req
177. besides the Little
Sisters of Charity?Copy !req
178. Not that I know of.Copy !req
179. He didn't have much
in the way of family.Copy !req
180. He was raised
in foster homes, mostly.Copy !req
181. Sounds like you got
to know him pretty well.Copy !req
182. He never gave me any grief.Copy !req
183. He worked hard
at getting better.Copy !req
184. He worked hard
at getting better.Copy !req
185. I'd talk to him sometimes.Copy !req
186. About what?Copy !req
187. Small talk—
nothing important.Copy !req
188. He'd ask how I was.Copy !req
189. He's a very considerate man.Copy !req
190. I don't doubt for a secondCopy !req
191. Robert Modell
belongs in prison,Copy !req
192. but I never had any problem
with him personally.Copy !req
193. Agents.Copy !req
194. It's Modell.Copy !req
195. He's asking for you.Copy !req
196. We're running
a trace right now.Copy !req
197. We just need 30 seconds.Copy !req
198. Mulder?Copy !req
199. Mulder?Copy !req
200. Yeah.Copy !req
201. Two words:Copy !req
202. it's alive. (laughs)Copy !req
203. I don't feel like playing
your game right now, Modell.Copy !req
204. Touchy. Look, Mulder, there's
something I need you to hear.Copy !req
205. Tell it to me in person, Modell.Copy !req
206. No. Seriously, listen to me.Copy !req
207. No, you listen to me.Copy !req
208. Either you come back here
on your ownCopy !req
209. or I drag your sorry ass back
on the bumper of my car.Copy !req
210. Time?
Ten more seconds.Copy !req
211. When did you turn
into Clint Eastwood?Copy !req
212. When did you turn
into Clint Eastwood?Copy !req
213. Don't let him rope you in.Copy !req
214. Now, stop talking
like a tough guyCopy !req
215. and pay attention.Copy !req
216. I know you're tracing this call.Copy !req
217. I don't care.
I have somethingCopy !req
218. I need you to hear.
Mulder, hang up the phone.Copy !req
219. Mulder, are you going to...Copy !req
220. We got it.Copy !req
221. Go!
Go, go, go!Copy !req
222. Watch yourself!Copy !req
223. Move in!Copy !req
224. There's nothing
back there.Copy !req
225. How far could he get?Copy !req
226. Outside!Copy !req
227. Where is he?Copy !req
228. Where's Modell?Copy !req
229. He had to go.Copy !req
230. I'm going to take
a wild stab here and guessCopy !req
231. this is a clue.Copy !req
232. It appears as if he died
from ingesting paint.Copy !req
233. I imagine that he
did all of this,Copy !req
234. and then drank
what was left.Copy !req
235. See what you
can make of it.Copy !req
236. See what you
can make of it.Copy !req
237. Modell?Copy !req
238. Cerulean blue.Copy !req
239. What the hell's
the point of all this?Copy !req
240. Maybe his choice of victim.Copy !req
241. This is Nathan BowmanCopy !req
242. with the Loudoun County
Attorney's Office.Copy !req
243. He's the prosecutor that
tried Modell in 1996.Copy !req
244. So you think it's
simple revenge?Copy !req
245. Sir...Copy !req
246. it's not a manifesto.Copy !req
247. It's the same single
idiogram over and over.Copy !req
248. Which is what?Copy !req
249. Well, the hand it's in
is pretty sloppy,Copy !req
250. but I think it's supposed
to be kitsunegari— fox hunt.Copy !req
251. but I think it's supposed
to be kitsunegari— fox hunt.Copy !req
252. Fox Mulder.Copy !req
253. Well, that's a littleCopy !req
254. on the nose, don't you think?Copy !req
255. Was Nathan Bowman married?Copy !req
256. Yep.Copy !req
257. What are you thinking?Copy !req
258. What are you thinking?Copy !req
259. "Linda."Copy !req
260. Bet that's his wife, huh?Copy !req
261. Novamax Realty.
Hi, Linda?Copy !req
262. I'm sorry, Mrs. Bowman has left
the office to meet a client.Copy !req
263. Uh, may I take a message?Copy !req
264. Do you know the name
of the clientCopy !req
265. that Mrs. Bowman went to see?Copy !req
266. It's, uh... Mr. Fox Mulder.Copy !req
267. It's, uh... Mr. Fox Mulder.Copy !req
268. It's him.
Location.
Find out where he's at.Copy !req
269. Do you... do you know
where Mrs. BowmanCopy !req
270. went to meet Fox Mulder?
A location?Copy !req
271. I know it's a commercial
property in Falls Church.Copy !req
272. Um, can you hold on, please?Copy !req
273. Yeah.Copy !req
274. Give me the Falls Church PD.Copy !req
275. This must be the placeCopy !req
276. Unit six at 214 Channel Avenue.Copy !req
277. Signs of forced entry.Copy !req
278. We're going to check it out.Copy !req
279. Exercise extreme caution, six.Copy !req
280. Backup is en route.Copy !req
281. Hello.Copy !req
282. Officer...Copy !req
283. I'm over here.Copy !req
284. Keep on coming.Copy !req
285. That's right.Copy !req
286. No, not that way.Copy !req
287. Not that way, either...Copy !req
288. but you're getting warmer.Copy !req
289. Dead ahead.Copy !req
290. Straight in front of you.Copy !req
291. Buddy, I'm straight
in front of you.Copy !req
292. What do you want me to do,Copy !req
293. draw you a map?
(laughs)Copy !req
294. Keep coming.Copy !req
295. Almost there.Copy !req
296. Put it down!Copy !req
297. Put the gun down.Copy !req
298. Put it down.Copy !req
299. Now!Copy !req
300. Now!Copy !req
301. On the floor.Copy !req
302. Facedown.Copy !req
303. Do it!Copy !req
304. Marty, I got him!Copy !req
305. Get up here!Copy !req
306. Let's go! Move!Copy !req
307. Federal agents!Copy !req
308. Officer, where are you?Copy !req
309. Upstairs!Copy !req
310. Sir, I got him!Copy !req
311. I got him!Copy !req
312. He's gone crazy!Copy !req
313. Get him the hell away from me.Copy !req
314. Give me your gun.Copy !req
315. Just give me the gun.
He was here.Copy !req
316. He did come for the woman.Copy !req
317. He did come for the woman.Copy !req
318. Why Bowman's wife?Copy !req
319. What would he want with her?Copy !req
320. Hey, we got a visitor!Copy !req
321. Linda Bowman?Copy !req
322. I'm Fox Mulder.Copy !req
323. Hi.Copy !req
324. Uh... you're my 12:15?Copy !req
325. The appointment was madeCopy !req
326. this morning
through my secretary.Copy !req
327. All I know isCopy !req
328. I was supposed to meet
a Mr. Mulder here.Copy !req
329. He didn't leave a number,
and I couldn't call himCopy !req
330. to tell him that I was
running late.Copy !req
331. Why would someone
do this to Nathan?Copy !req
332. Mrs. Bowman...Copy !req
333. did your husband
ever discussCopy !req
334. his work as a
prosecutor with you?Copy !req
335. Sometimes.Copy !req
336. Did he ever mention the
name Robert Patrick Modell?Copy !req
337. Did he ever mention the
name Robert Patrick Modell?Copy !req
338. Pusher?Copy !req
339. That was Nathan's
biggest case. Why?Copy !req
340. Can you think of any reasonCopy !req
341. why this man Modell
would take an interest in you?Copy !req
342. What do you mean?Copy !req
343. We believe he murdered
your husband.Copy !req
344. It also appears
that he's the manCopy !req
345. that made the appointment
to see you today.Copy !req
346. No...Copy !req
347. no, no, he's in prison.Copy !req
348. Not since 6:00 this morning.Copy !req
349. Not since 6:00 this morning.Copy !req
350. Oh, God.Copy !req
351. You're safe with us,
Mrs. Bowman.Copy !req
352. If you'll come with me,Copy !req
353. we'll place you
in protective custody.Copy !req
354. Find him.Copy !req
355. Find him.Copy !req
356. Yes, sir.Copy !req
357. Mulder?Copy !req
358. Why didn't Modell just
kill those two cops?Copy !req
359. What was to stop him?Copy !req
360. Well, hopefully,
he was incapable.Copy !req
361. As in too tired?Copy !req
362. Well, we've seen that
before with him.Copy !req
363. Maybe. I don't know.Copy !req
364. Something's just
not making sense.Copy !req
365. Can I borrow
your radio?Copy !req
366. Yes, sir.Copy !req
367. Gracias, amigo.Copy !req
368. What took you so long?Copy !req
369. Scully, I got him.
Come quick.Copy !req
370. Where are you, Mulder?Copy !req
371. Hold on.
North side of Channel,
second floor.Copy !req
372. Hold on.
North side of Channel,
second floor.Copy !req
373. Hold on, now. Hold on.
Some kind of company.
Some engineering company.Copy !req
374. We need to talk.
Shut up, Modell.Copy !req
375. Mulder, listen to me.
I said shut up!Copy !req
376. There's something I need you...Copy !req
377. Shut up or I will shoot you,
you son of a bitch.Copy !req
378. Mulder...Copy !req
379. I will shoot you.
Shut up.Copy !req
380. You're going to listen to me.Copy !req
381. You're going to listen
to me, Mulder.Copy !req
382. I will shoot you.Copy !req
383. Listen.Copy !req
384. (whispering):
Mulder...Copy !req
385. (whispering):
Mulder...Copy !req
386. Mulder...Copy !req
387. Mulder, what happened?Copy !req
388. Where's Modell?Copy !req
389. He had to go.Copy !req
390. About ten minutes ago.Copy !req
391. He can't have gotten far.Copy !req
392. Anything?Copy !req
393. No sign.Copy !req
394. Yes, Agent Mulder's fine.Copy !req
395. Yes, sir.Copy !req
396. How are you feeling?Copy !req
397. Well, aside from the utter
grinding humiliationCopy !req
398. that comes from knowing
I let our suspect go,Copy !req
399. pretty good.Copy !req
400. It could have happened
to anyone, Mulder.Copy !req
401. It could have happened
to anyone, Mulder.Copy !req
402. No, actually,
it couldn't have.Copy !req
403. I didn't find Modell;
he sought me out.Copy !req
404. He wanted me
to hear his message.Copy !req
405. Which was what?Copy !req
406. "Don't play the game."Copy !req
407. Whose game? His?Copy !req
408. I don't think so.Copy !req
409. I'm not even sure
he's playing a game.Copy !req
410. What are you talking about?
Of course he is.Copy !req
411. You said yourself
that he was goingCopy !req
412. to pick up where he left off.Copy !req
413. Then why didn't
he kill the copsCopy !req
414. or the prison guard?Copy !req
415. Or, hell, while we're at it,
why didn't he kill me?Copy !req
416. Why didn't he make me eat
a bullet out of my own gun?Copy !req
417. He could have.Copy !req
418. He killed Nathan Bowman.Copy !req
419. Yeah, he was definitely there,Copy !req
420. Yeah, he was definitely there,Copy !req
421. but that doesn't prove
that he did it.Copy !req
422. Mulder, this man's affected you.Copy !req
423. He's influenced your thinking.Copy !req
424. It's not like that.Copy !req
425. A man is made to drink
a gallon of cerulean blue paint.Copy !req
426. Kitsunegari— fox hunt.Copy !req
427. You're saying now
that's not Modell?Copy !req
428. Modell is involved—Copy !req
429. he's related to it somehow,
but not the way you think.Copy !req
430. That's your opinion.Copy !req
431. Yeah...Copy !req
432. that's my opinion.Copy !req
433. How can you be sure
it's your own?Copy !req
434. What do we still agree on here?Copy !req
435. That Modell was pursuing
Linda Bowman?Copy !req
436. That Modell was pursuing
Linda Bowman?Copy !req
437. I'd like to know why.Copy !req
438. I'm sorry.Copy !req
439. I don't know if I can
tell you much moreCopy !req
440. than I already have.Copy !req
441. We appreciate your help.Copy !req
442. I know Nathan was very proud
of having prosecuted the case.Copy !req
443. He said this man Modell
was extremely cleverCopy !req
444. He said this man Modell
was extremely cleverCopy !req
445. and dangerous and that he
was a menace to society.Copy !req
446. Nathan mentioned
that an FBI agentCopy !req
447. had ultimately shot him.Copy !req
448. Was that you?Copy !req
449. Yes.Copy !req
450. He said you crippled him
and put him in a wheelchair.Copy !req
451. Nathan said
it was too badCopy !req
452. that you just
didn't kill him.Copy !req
453. That it would have
saved the taxpayersCopy !req

455. the cost of a trial.Copy !req
456. Your husband talked
with you a lot about it.Copy !req
457. Well, as I said,
he was proud.Copy !req
458. I guess he felt that...Copy !req
459. that it was his
brush with greatness.Copy !req
460. Is it possible
that he could haveCopy !req
461. mentioned you to Robert Modell?Copy !req
462. No, no. I sincerely doubt it.Copy !req
463. You see, Nathan and I...Copy !req
464. we were only married two months.Copy !req
465. we were only married two months.Copy !req
466. How long did you know him?Copy !req
467. Well, it was two months
and two days.Copy !req
468. Why waitCopy !req
469. when it's true love?Copy !req
470. You never know
how long you have.Copy !req
471. No, you don't.Copy !req
472. It's not like Nathan was
impulsive or flighty.Copy !req
473. I don't want to paint him
as that.Copy !req
474. He was true-blue.Copy !req
475. Thank you.Copy !req
476. She killed Nathan Bowman.Copy !req
477. What?Copy !req
478. Modell was there,
but for some other reason.Copy !req
479. She killed her husband.Copy !req
480. Agent Mulder...
Wait a minute.Copy !req
481. Just hear me out. Her husband's
"brush with greatness"?Copy !req
482. She doesn't want "to paint him
as being impulsive"?Copy !req
483. Who the hell
talks like that?Copy !req
484. You tell me.Copy !req
485. You tell me.Copy !req
486. She was waving it
under our nose.Copy !req
487. She was playing with us.Copy !req
488. Modell told me— he warned me
not to play the game.Copy !req
489. I think it was her game
he was talking about.Copy !req
490. Modell told you?Copy !req
491. Has she asked howCopy !req
492. her husband was murdered?Copy !req
493. Has she shown any interest
in the details?Copy !req
494. An escaped serial killer
is supposedly stalking her.Copy !req
495. Does she seem particularly
fearful to you?Copy !req
496. The woman's in shock,
Agent Mulder.Copy !req
497. She's not herself.Copy !req
498. I might add: neither are you.Copy !req
499. You heard her in there, Scully.Copy !req
500. Mulder, no.Copy !req
501. I'm sorry.Copy !req
502. I'm sorry.Copy !req
503. You said it yourself.Copy !req
504. You said, "Don't listen
to Modell. Don't trust him."Copy !req
505. But you've done both.Copy !req
506. But what if she can do
what Modell does?Copy !req
507. I think you should go home.Copy !req
508. You think I should go home?Copy !req
509. You're suspended until such timeCopy !req
510. I'm confident
your judgment is sound.Copy !req
511. Give me your weapon.Copy !req
512. Who are you afraid
I'm going to point it at?Copy !req
513. Mulder, I think you should do
what he says.Copy !req
514. Excuse me.Copy !req
515. Would it be possibleCopy !req
516. for me to get something
to drink? Water?Copy !req
517. Yes, ma'am. I'll have
somebody come right in.Copy !req
518. I'll prove it.Copy !req
519. Agent Mulder?Copy !req
520. Go fetch her some water.Copy !req
521. I really don't know
the man that well.Copy !req
522. I'm sorry you got
the impression that I do.Copy !req
523. No, just anything at all
that you might recall.Copy !req
524. Um, did he ever talk
about his past?Copy !req
525. You know,
mention anybody special?Copy !req
526. A woman, something
like that?Copy !req
527. No.Copy !req
528. Anything remarkable
he ever saidCopy !req
529. that you can remember.Copy !req
530. I guess one time
someone else said somethingCopy !req
531. about him that struck me
as unusual.Copy !req
532. Yeah? What was that?Copy !req
533. It was one of the
nuns who visitsCopy !req
534. from Little Sisters of Charity.Copy !req
535. She, uh... she once referred
to him as a "conquered warrior."Copy !req
536. She, uh... she once referred
to him as a "conquered warrior."Copy !req
537. I thought that
was kind of weird.Copy !req
538. Was this the same nun
that visited himCopy !req
539. the day before he escaped?Copy !req
540. Yeah, the same one
that always visits.Copy !req
541. How many times
did she visit him?Copy !req
542. Maybe three, four.Copy !req
543. Will you take a look
at something for me?Copy !req
544. Is that the woman?Copy !req
545. Is that the nun?Copy !req
546. Hang on.
I'm blind as a bat.Copy !req
547. Therapy room.Copy !req
548. Here, glasses.Copy !req
549. Ah. Uh-huh.Copy !req
550. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely.Copy !req
551. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely.Copy !req
552. It's empty.Copy !req
553. Where'd you leave them?
Uh...Copy !req
554. Uh-huh.Copy !req
555. Uh-huh.Copy !req
556. Okay.Copy !req
557. Oh, yeah, he's here.Copy !req
558. No!Copy !req
559. I need help in here!Copy !req
560. Help!Copy !req
561. Oh, man, you got him.Copy !req
562. Go home.Copy !req
563. What?Copy !req
564. Go home.Copy !req
565. Scully.Copy !req
566. Hey, Scully, it's me.Copy !req
567. Hey, Scully, it's me.Copy !req
568. Where are you?Copy !req
569. I'm at the prison.Copy !req
570. Mulder, you were told
to lay off.Copy !req
571. It's a little late for that now.
Modell's therapist justCopy !req
572. electrocuted herself
right in front of me,Copy !req
573. and she was on the phone
when she did it.Copy !req
574. It was Modell.Copy !req
575. It was Linda Bowman.Copy !req
576. Mulder!Copy !req
577. The therapist would have
identified her,Copy !req
578. verified that she visitedCopy !req
579. Modell in the prison.Copy !req
580. Would have?
You don't know that.Copy !req
581. Listen, Scully,
just trace the callCopy !req
582. and cut off any access
that woman has to a phone.Copy !req
583. I'm heading back there
right now.Copy !req
584. Mulder, I'm not
at the safe house.Copy !req
585. You're not?Copy !req
586. We're at the Chain Bridge Mall
investigating a suicide.Copy !req
587. We're at the Chain Bridge Mall
investigating a suicide.Copy !req
588. Why isn't anybody picking up
at the safe house switchboard?Copy !req
589. Back in the trucks.Copy !req
590. All right, let's go.Copy !req
591. On the floor, Modell!Copy !req
592. Hey, it's Mel Cooley.Copy !req
593. On your face! Do it now!Copy !req
594. I said now!Copy !req
595. I have a gun.Copy !req
596. How's his vitals?Copy !req
597. Did he try to speak to you?Copy !req
598. He said we got our man.Copy !req
599. What happened?Copy !req
600. You were told to go
home, Agent Mulder.Copy !req
601. What happened?Copy !req
602. What happened?Copy !req
603. He had a gun.
I saw it clearly.Copy !req
604. It was a revolver.Copy !req
605. He pointed a gun
at you?Copy !req
606. We haven't found the gun yet.Copy !req
607. He said to you
that he had a gun.Copy !req
608. Yes. And he did.Copy !req
609. Excuse me.Copy !req
610. Modell was unarmed.Copy !req
611. He purposefully drew
Skinner's fire.Copy !req
612. For what possible reason?Copy !req
613. To protect someone.Copy !req
614. Linda Bowman?Copy !req
615. To take the fall for her.Copy !req
616. To take the fall for her.Copy !req
617. That's one hell
of a plan, Mulder.Copy !req
618. A serial killer makes us believeCopy !req
619. that he's guilty,
in turn divertingCopy !req
620. the suspicion away
from the real estate lady?Copy !req
621. Well, he had me going.
Where is she?Copy !req
622. They've taken her home.Copy !req
623. There is no reason to keep her
in protective custody, Mulder.Copy !req
624. It is over.Copy !req
625. No, it's not.
Where are you going?Copy !req
626. If Modell makes it
through surgery,Copy !req
627. I want to be the first person
that he talks to.Copy !req
628. Mulder, talking to him
has alreadyCopy !req
629. done you enough harm.
Okay, look.Copy !req
630. You do me a favor, Scully.Copy !req
631. You give me a call
when you thinkCopy !req
632. I've come to my senses,
all right?Copy !req
633. I've come to my senses,
all right?Copy !req
634. Sir, I'm going to
need to changeCopy !req
635. the patient's
bandages.Copy !req
636. Call me if he
wakes up, please.Copy !req
637. Yes, sir.Copy !req
638. Bobby.Copy !req
639. Why did you do it?Copy !req
640. I didn't ask you
to come after me.Copy !req
641. Don't...Copy !req
642. don't make a mistake.Copy !req
643. I'm not.Copy !req
644. I'm not.Copy !req
645. After what they've done,Copy !req
646. do you think I'd let them
get away with this?Copy !req
647. I'm going to finish
what you started.Copy !req
648. No.Copy !req
649. Stop now.Copy !req
650. Stop.Copy !req
651. Bobby...Copy !req
652. Bobby, you're not in any pain.Copy !req
653. You feel wonderful.Copy !req
654. You've never
felt better.Copy !req
655. Your heart is slowing.Copy !req
656. It's tired.Copy !req
657. It's too worn out
to keep beating.Copy !req
658. Let it rest.Copy !req
659. It slows...Copy !req
660. It slows...Copy !req
661. It stops.Copy !req
662. Hello? Yes, I have
that information for you.Copy !req
663. I'll get the lidocaine, Doctor.Copy !req
664. Never mind.Copy !req
665. Put him down
as 7:38.Copy !req
666. Yes, Doctor.Copy !req
667. Sorry.Copy !req
668. Mulder?Copy !req
669. Scully, what are you
doing here?Copy !req
670. You were right
about her, Mulder.Copy !req
671. You were right
about her, Mulder.Copy !req
672. Scully...Copy !req
673. She's making me do this.Copy !req
674. Where is she?
She's here.Copy !req
675. Mulder, make her stop.Copy !req
676. I can't help myself.Copy !req
677. Linda Bowman!Copy !req
678. Mulder, make her stop.Copy !req
679. Show yourself!Copy !req
680. Mulder!Copy !req
681. No!Copy !req
682. No!
(gunshot)Copy !req
683. No!
(gunshot)Copy !req
684. I'm going to kill you.Copy !req
685. Don't listen
to her, Mulder.Copy !req
686. What?
It's me.Copy !req
687. You were right about her.Copy !req
688. You were right about her.Copy !req
689. Linda Bowman is pushing you.Copy !req
690. What the hell
are you talking about?Copy !req
691. I'm Scully.Copy !req
692. Linda's right
behind you.Copy !req
693. She's telling you I'm her.Copy !req
694. You killed her.Copy !req
695. Mulder, I'm Scully.Copy !req
696. I'm not dead.Copy !req
697. She wants you
to shoot me.Copy !req
698. She knows you'll never
forgive yourself.Copy !req
699. Shut up!Copy !req
700. Listen to me!
Shut up!Copy !req
701. Your mother is Tina.Copy !req
702. Your sister is Samantha.Copy !req
703. Shut up!Copy !req
704. Shut up!Copy !req
705. Modell
warned you.Copy !req
706. Don't play her game.Copy !req
707. Mulder.Copy !req
708. You think you can hold me?Copy !req
709. Yes, we'd like an ambulance
to 214 Channel Avenue.Copy !req
710. Yes, we'd like an ambulance
to 214 Channel Avenue.Copy !req
711. Linda Bowman.Copy !req
712. She has an advanced temporal

713. It seems to run in the family.Copy !req
714. She and Modell
are related?Copy !req
715. Fraternal twins.Copy !req
716. He meant to protect
his sister.Copy !req
717. Apparently, she only found outCopy !req
718. about his existence
six months ago.Copy !req
719. They were separated when
they were two weeks old.Copy !req
720. Raised apart.Copy !req
721. Raised apart.Copy !req
722. Her "fox hunt..."Copy !req
723. I'm guessing
that she wanted revengeCopy !req
724. for what she feels
we did to her brother.Copy !req
725. Anything you want
to add to that?Copy !req
726. No. I think that covers it.Copy !req
727. Mulder, a moment, please.Copy !req
728. I just wanted to say
you did a good job.Copy !req
729. How's that?Copy !req
730. Nobody could have
figured this out but you.Copy !req
731. You knew it was Linda Bowman
and not Modell.Copy !req
732. You were
way ahead of me.Copy !req
733. I almost killed my partner.Copy !req
734. Mulder, despite that,
you prevailed.Copy !req
735. You won her game.Copy !req
736. How come I feel like I lost?Copy !req
737. I made this.Copy !req
