34. Where's the prison doc?Copy !req
35. I want to see the prison doc.Copy !req
36. We're specialists,
Mr. Torrence.Copy !req
37. What's wrong with me?Copy !req
38. Five centimeters.Copy !req
39. They appear fairly uniform.Copy !req
40. Basal temperature?Copy !req
41. 103.5. Oxygen saturation—Copy !req
42. 103.5. Oxygen saturation—Copy !req
43. 81 percent.Copy !req
44. What's wrong with me?Copy !req
45. Try and relax, Mr. Torrence.Copy !req
46. We're here
to help you.Copy !req
47. Put the sheets in the cart.Copy !req
48. Make sure and get
all them pillows, too.Copy !req
49. I'll be back in five minutes.Copy !req
50. We'll be here.Copy !req
51. See that?Copy !req
52. He couldn't clear
out of here fast enough.Copy !req
53. Whole cell block's empty.Copy !req
54. McGuire says they're full up
at the infirmary.Copy !req
55. Bringing in more beds.Copy !req
56. Yeah, well, it's probably
something going around.Copy !req
57. Maybe.Copy !req
58. Why? You know something?Copy !req
59. I know the sheets
ain't going to the laundry.Copy !req
60. McGuire says they're going
to some kind of incinerator.Copy !req
61. McGuire says they're going
to some kind of incinerator.Copy !req
62. But the laundry pickup's
still happening.Copy !req
63. According to
my briefing,Copy !req
64. the prisoners escaped by
hiding in a laundry cart.Copy !req
65. I don't think the guardsCopy !req
66. are watching
enough prison movies.Copy !req
67. And they're both
serving life terms.Copy !req
68. Murder convictions.Copy !req
69. Everybody's here.Copy !req
70. I thought this was
about escaped prisoners.Copy !req
71. It is.Copy !req
72. Then who are the men
in the funny suits?Copy !req
73. I don't know.Copy !req
74. It looks like some kind
of de-con situation.Copy !req
75. FBI run out of
crooked politicians to sting?Copy !req
76. Excuse me?Copy !req
77. Mulder and, uh, Scully?Copy !req
78. That's right. We have orders to
work with the federal marshalsCopy !req
79. on this manhunt.Copy !req
80. Either of you two ever run
an escaped convict operation?Copy !req
81. Either of you two ever run
an escaped convict operation?Copy !req
82. No.Copy !req
83. Well, then you'd be
a real big helpCopy !req
84. if you just try
to stay out of the way.Copy !req
85. We'd be happy to,Copy !req
86. as soon as we can talk
to someone who's in charge.Copy !req
87. I'm in charge here.Copy !req
88. Apparently not, or you'd knowCopy !req
89. why our involvement
was requested.Copy !req
90. We don't know
why we've been sent here.Copy !req
91. Maybe if we talk
to the warden or someone...Copy !req
92. Well, no one's here.Copy !req
93. Prison's been taken over
by National Guard.Copy !req
94. They've closed off
most of the facility.Copy !req
95. Why?Copy !req
96. I don't know why.Copy !req
97. Federal marshal's business
isn't in here.Copy !req
98. It's out there, trying to catch
those two convicts.Copy !req
99. It's out there, trying to catch
those two convicts.Copy !req
100. Where did this case
originate, Scully?Copy !req
101. Came out of
Skinner's office.Copy !req
102. Did he say why
he gave it to us?Copy !req
103. No. Why?Copy !req
104. Well, this isn't
the type of thingCopy !req
105. the FBI normally
gets called in on.Copy !req
106. I got a feeling we're not being
told the entire story here.Copy !req
107. I've got the same
feeling, Mulder.Copy !req
108. You think
you can get in thereCopy !req
109. and find out
what's going on?Copy !req
110. I can try.Copy !req
111. Where are you going?Copy !req
112. See if I can get in the way.Copy !req
113. Hey, you girls
go with Mom.Copy !req
114. I'll see you in a minute.Copy !req
115. Robert?Copy !req
116. Robert?Copy !req
117. Robert!Copy !req
118. Hey!Copy !req
119. I'm sorry, this is
a restricted area.Copy !req
120. I'm sorry, this is
a restricted area.Copy !req
121. Who are you?Copy !req
122. Dr. Osbourne.Copy !req
123. Are you
the prison doctor?Copy !req
124. No.Copy !req
125. Who do you work for?Copy !req
126. The CDC.Copy !req
127. You work for the Centers
for Disease Control?Copy !req
128. What are you
doing here?Copy !req
129. Sir?Copy !req
130. I'm a medical doctor!Copy !req
131. I want to know
what's going on here!Copy !req
132. Sir, if you don't let me in,Copy !req
133. a lot of people
in WashingtonCopy !req
134. are going to find out
that you're conductingCopy !req
135. a secret quarantine
in here.Copy !req
136. I'm under strict orders.Copy !req
137. So am I.Copy !req
138. All I can tell youCopy !req
139. is that there is
a flu-like illnessCopy !req
140. spreading among
some of the prisoners.Copy !req
141. How many people
are infected?Copy !req
142. 14 men so far.Copy !req
143. Any deaths?Copy !req
144. Ten of the 14.Copy !req
145. What are the chancesCopy !req
146. the men who escaped
are infected?Copy !req
147. They just took off.Copy !req
148. Mulder.Copy !req
149. Mulder, it's me.Copy !req
150. I'm starting to get a picture
of what's going on here.Copy !req
151. What did you find?Copy !req
152. There seems to beCopy !req
153. some kind of deadly contagionCopy !req
154. sweeping the lockdown
population.Copy !req
155. Deadly? How deadly?Copy !req
156. Well, from what
I've seen so far,Copy !req
157. 36-hours-after-infection deadly.Copy !req
158. Is there a chance any of
the escaped men were infected?Copy !req
159. Is there a chance any of
the escaped men were infected?Copy !req
160. The exact nature of this thingCopy !req
161. or how it is spread is unclear.Copy !req
162. So is their exposure to it
and any danger they might pose.Copy !req
163. I'd say these guys are a danger,
in any event.Copy !req
164. Call me as soon
as you know anything.Copy !req
165. I don't care who you are,
or what your business is.Copy !req
166. I want you out of
here right now.Copy !req
167. Not until I get
some answers.Copy !req
168. You're in violation
of federal statutes.Copy !req
169. I'm a federal agent, sir.Copy !req
170. Who were you
on the phone to?Copy !req
171. To my partner,
who needs to knowCopy !req
172. if the men he's pursuing
are infected.Copy !req
173. if the men he's pursuing
are infected.Copy !req
174. That information
is unavailable.Copy !req
175. Well, then I want
to see charts,Copy !req
176. and I want access
to the infirmary.Copy !req
177. You see what
I let you see.Copy !req
178. Hello?Copy !req
179. I'm free, baby.Copy !req
180. Paul?Copy !req
181. Listen, I'm...Copy !req
182. Where are you?Copy !req
183. I'm coming home.Copy !req
184. What are you talking about?Copy !req
185. I'm coming to get you.Copy !req
186. What?Copy !req
187. Yo! Anybody in here?Copy !req
188. Hello?Copy !req
189. Hey, man.Copy !req
190. You okay?Copy !req
191. You look messed up.Copy !req
192. You look messed up.Copy !req
193. Oh...Copy !req
194. You can't be
down here!Copy !req
195. I need to knowCopy !req
196. what these men
are dying from!Copy !req
197. You said this was some kind
of flu-like illness.Copy !req
198. What are these?
Please! Please!Copy !req
199. These bodies should
not be exposed!Copy !req
200. These bodies should
not be exposed!Copy !req
201. Do all of the victims
have these boils?Copy !req
202. You're burning
the bodies! Why?Copy !req
203. Dr. Osbourne, wait!Copy !req
204. Freeze!Copy !req
205. Hands in the air!Copy !req
206. Freeze!Copy !req
207. Freeze!Copy !req
208. Clear.Copy !req
209. We got a man down!Copy !req
210. He's alive!Copy !req
211. Attendant's name
is Angelo Garza.Copy !req
212. He took a nice
crack to the head,Copy !req
213. but he's talking.Copy !req
214. Well, lucky they
didn't kill him.Copy !req
215. Kid's got a lot of hair—
probably absorbed the blow.Copy !req
216. He found one of the men
in pain on the bathroom floorCopy !req
217. with a large boil
on his face.Copy !req
218. There's a contagion
at the prison.Copy !req
219. These men could
be infected.Copy !req
220. Get on the horn, see what
anybody knows about that.Copy !req
221. All right, they took
the kid's keys,Copy !req
222. they got in the safe.Copy !req
223. They got money, the kid's
car, possibly a firearm,Copy !req
224. and they got a
big head start.Copy !req
225. Any idea
where they're headed?Copy !req
226. Any idea
where they're headed?Copy !req
227. There are 23 possible
roads and thoroughfares.Copy !req
228. Either of these guys
got a girlfriend, you know?Copy !req
229. I wish I could tell you,Copy !req
230. but those records
are locked up in the prison.Copy !req
231. Till we can access them,
this is Smokey and the Bandit.Copy !req
232. Well, if they had girlfriends,Copy !req
233. they probably
tried to call them.Copy !req
234. Did you think of that?Copy !req
235. This is the operator.Copy !req
236. How may I help you?Copy !req
237. I'm a federal agentCopy !req
238. assisting in the manhunt
for two escaped prisoners.Copy !req
239. assisting in the manhunt
for two escaped prisoners.Copy !req
240. My badge number is
JTT-047101111.Copy !req
241. I need to know the last call
made from this booth.Copy !req
242. All right, sir. One moment.Copy !req
243. That number is 555...Copy !req
244. Can you repeat that, please?Copy !req
245. All right, thank you.Copy !req
246. What's going on here?Copy !req
247. Hey, what are you guys
doing here?Copy !req
248. What the hell's
going on here?Copy !req
249. Who authorized this?Copy !req
250. Hey, you going to do
anything about this?Copy !req
251. What's going on here?
What's going on?Copy !req
252. Where are they taking me?Copy !req
253. Who are you?Copy !req
254. Hey, did you order this?Copy !req
255. No.Copy !req
256. Then who the hell did?Copy !req
257. I don't know.Copy !req
258. But there was a call
made from that phone boothCopy !req
259. about two hours ago; I got
an address and phone numberCopy !req
260. from Dinwiddie County.Copy !req
261. Wait here, sweetie.Copy !req
262. Be right back.Copy !req
263. Thought you were BS-ing me.Copy !req
264. I'm gone, sweet thing.Copy !req
265. I'm gone, sweet thing.Copy !req
266. They ain't never
taking me back.Copy !req
267. I ain't going
to let them.Copy !req
268. I'm coming, sweetie.Copy !req
269. Daddy's home.Copy !req
270. Come on.Copy !req
271. I got somebody with me.Copy !req
272. What?Copy !req
273. What's wrong with him?Copy !req
274. I don't know.Copy !req
275. He's out of it.Copy !req
276. Oh, hell, he's burning up.Copy !req
277. Oh, hell, he's burning up.Copy !req
278. We got to get him
in the house.Copy !req
279. Yes, I'm trying to trace
the origin of a packageCopy !req
280. that was sent
to a Robert TorrenceCopy !req
281. at the Cumberland State
Correctional FacilityCopy !req
282. in Virginia.Copy !req
283. Y-Yeah. The package I.D. number
is DDP-112148.Copy !req
284. Sure, I'll hold.Copy !req
285. Yeah.Copy !req
286. The package was sent
from Wichita, Kansas?Copy !req
287. The package was sent
from Wichita, Kansas?Copy !req
288. Did you record
the name of the sender?Copy !req
289. Could you check that again,
please?Copy !req
290. Thank you.Copy !req
291. Yeah.Copy !req
292. What do you know
about Pinck Pharmaceuticals?Copy !req
293. Uh, it's one of,
if not the biggestCopy !req
294. Uh, it's one of,
if not the biggestCopy !req
295. manufacturer of drugs
in America. Why?Copy !req
296. They sent a package
to a prisoner hereCopy !req
297. who may have been the first
victim of the contagion.Copy !req
298. Any idea
what was in the package?Copy !req
299. No. It's empty.Copy !req
300. Scully, from the description
we got, one of the prisonersCopy !req
301. had a large purplish
inflammation on his face.Copy !req
302. That sounds like
what I'm findingCopy !req
303. on all the victims in here.Copy !req
304. Do you know what that means,
Mulder?Copy !req
305. Yeah, it could spread.Copy !req
306. I-I need to know more about it—Copy !req
307. how it's transmitted.Copy !req
308. how it's transmitted.Copy !req
309. I'm on it.Copy !req
310. Got to go.Copy !req
311. Got to keep moving.Copy !req
312. Paul.Copy !req
313. Paul, he's awake.Copy !req
314. Paul, come here.Copy !req
315. You got to help me.Copy !req
316. I'm-I'm burning up here.Copy !req
317. Please.Copy !req
318. Paul!Copy !req
319. Paul! Paul!Copy !req
320. Down! Down! Down!Copy !req
321. Get down!Copy !req
322. Get on the ground!Copy !req
323. Do not move!Copy !req
324. We got one prisoner
dead in the bedroom.Copy !req
325. The other one's gone.Copy !req
326. Come with me.Copy !req
327. Why? What's going on?Copy !req
328. Just come with me.Copy !req
329. What the hell is going on?Copy !req
330. What the hell is going on?Copy !req
331. I've been infected.Copy !req
332. And they're not
letting me out.Copy !req
333. Entire prison's
been quarantined.Copy !req
334. By who, the CDC?Copy !req
335. CDC has nothing
to do with this.Copy !req
336. It's the company.Copy !req
337. They're behind everything.Copy !req
338. Pinck Pharmaceuticals.Copy !req
339. You work for Pinck
Pharmaceuticals?Copy !req
340. How did this happen?Copy !req
341. We finance explorationCopy !req
342. of new species
from the rain forestCopy !req
343. with potential
drug applications.Copy !req
344. Three months ago,
a field entomologistCopy !req
345. disappeared in Costa Rica.Copy !req
346. Disappeared how?Copy !req
347. We're not sure.Copy !req
348. He just sent us
some samples of an insect.Copy !req
349. Like this?Copy !req
350. I found this buried in
one of the dead prisoners.Copy !req
351. Faciphaga Emasculata.Copy !req
352. We were interested in itCopy !req
353. because of a dilating
enzyme it secretes.Copy !req
354. Is this what caused
the outbreak?Copy !req
355. Is this what caused
the outbreak?Copy !req
356. No. No, not precisely.Copy !req
357. The F. Emasculata
is a parasitoid—Copy !req
358. a bug that carries
a parasite.Copy !req
359. In this case,
a deadly parasiteCopy !req
360. that attacks
the immune system.Copy !req
361. The pustules are part of
the natural reproductive cycle.Copy !req
362. They're full of the larvae
that you see there in the scope.Copy !req
363. So the contagion only
spreads when the pustules erupt,Copy !req
364. and the larvae
that are expelledCopy !req
365. burrow into
the new host.Copy !req
366. burrow into
the new host.Copy !req
367. Agent Scully...Copy !req
368. you were there when
the pustule erupted on me.Copy !req
369. Which means
you may also be infected.Copy !req
370. Come in.Copy !req
371. Thank you for seeing me
at this late hour, sir.Copy !req
372. What is it, Agent Mulder?Copy !req
373. This case we've been assigned—Copy !req
374. This case we've been assigned—Copy !req
375. I believe we've been misled,
possibly deceived.Copy !req
376. Deceived? By whom?Copy !req
377. Whoever originated the case.Copy !req
378. What is the accusation,
Agent Mulder?Copy !req
379. That Agent Scully and I
were sent on this manhuntCopy !req
380. without knowledge
of the existenceCopy !req
381. or nature of a contagion.Copy !req
382. What is the exact nature
of the contagion?Copy !req
383. It's deadly.Copy !req
384. It kills within 36 hours.Copy !req
385. One escaped convict
was infected.Copy !req
386. He's dead now.Copy !req
387. He's dead now.Copy !req
388. The other man may be infected,
and he's on the loose.Copy !req
389. Does anyone know how
it's communicated,Copy !req
390. whether it's a virus
or bacteria...?Copy !req
391. No, we just know that over
a dozen men have died from it.Copy !req
392. And it appears to be
highly contagious.Copy !req
393. Then you don't know
much, Agent Mulder.Copy !req
394. Why weren't we told the truth?Copy !req
395. We didn't know the truth.Copy !req
396. What we knew would only
have slowed you down.Copy !req
397. But innocent people
could be infected!Copy !req
398. What you knew
could have prevented that.Copy !req
399. How?Copy !req
400. In 1988,Copy !req
401. there was an outbreakCopy !req
402. of hemorrhagic fever
in Sacramento, California.Copy !req
403. The truth would
have caused panic.Copy !req
404. Panic would have cost lives.Copy !req
405. Panic would have cost lives.Copy !req
406. We controlled the disease by
controlling the information.Copy !req
407. You can't protect the public
by lying to them.Copy !req
408. It's done every day.Copy !req
409. I won't be a party to it.Copy !req
410. How about you?Copy !req
411. You're a party to it already.Copy !req
412. How many people
are being infectedCopy !req
413. while you stand here
not doing your job?Copy !req
414. Ten? 20?Copy !req
415. What's the truth, Agent Mulder?Copy !req
416. What's the truth, Agent Mulder?Copy !req
417. Mulder.Copy !req
418. Mulder, they're enforcing
a full quarantine.Copy !req
419. What?Copy !req
420. One of the epidemiologists
who claimed to be with the CDCCopy !req
421. told me that
this was no accident.Copy !req
422. Pinck Pharmaceutical is here
trying to clean it up quietly,Copy !req
423. and the government
would have to know about it.Copy !req
424. Do you have proof of that?Copy !req
425. Why else would
the National Guard be here?Copy !req
426. They're protecting
Pinck Pharmaceutical.Copy !req
427. Okay, listen, Scully, I need
to know how this happened.Copy !req
428. I want you to start documentingCopy !req
429. I want you to start documentingCopy !req
430. everything you can
get your hands on.Copy !req
431. People have to know
about the cover-up.Copy !req
432. The public?Copy !req
433. It's a public health crisis.Copy !req
434. Mulder, we can't leak this,
not until we know more.Copy !req
435. The fugitive that
you're looking for—Copy !req
436. he might not even be infected.Copy !req
437. Yeah, but what if he is?Copy !req
438. If this gets out prematurely,
the panic isCopy !req
439. going to spread
faster than the contagion.Copy !req
440. Mulder, we can't
let this be known.Copy !req
441. What if someone dies because
we withheld what we knew?Copy !req
442. What if someone dies
because we didn't?Copy !req
443. There'll be a time
for the truth, Mulder,Copy !req
444. but this isn't it.Copy !req
445. but this isn't it.Copy !req
446. Are you okay in there, Scully?Copy !req
447. Yeah, I'm okay.Copy !req
448. All I want you to worry about
is capturing that fugitive.Copy !req
449. Take care of yourself, Mulder.Copy !req
450. If you're not infected,Copy !req
451. you should leave
immediately.Copy !req
452. And if I am?Copy !req
453. The parasite is undetectable
in the bloodstream.Copy !req
454. This is the only way to testCopy !req
455. whether or not
you've been infected.Copy !req
456. These uninfected insects
act as incubators.Copy !req
457. These uninfected insects
act as incubators.Copy !req
458. Now, the insect's bite
won't infect you.Copy !req
459. The contagion can
only be contractedCopy !req
460. through exposure
to the larvae.Copy !req
461. How long will this take?Copy !req
462. 30 minutes.Copy !req
463. And another two hoursCopy !req
464. before the parasite reproduces
enough for us to see it.Copy !req
465. Elizabeth?Copy !req
466. My name is Fox Mulder.
I'm with the FBI.Copy !req
467. Where did Paul go,
Elizabeth?Copy !req
468. I don't know.Copy !req
469. I think you do know.Copy !req
470. And I think you know
why you're in here.Copy !req
471. How are you feeling?Copy !req
472. How are you feeling?Copy !req
473. I'm fine.Copy !req
474. Steve felt fine, too.Copy !req
475. Didn't take long
for that to change.Copy !req
476. You're just trying
to scare me.Copy !req
477. You should be scared.Copy !req
478. If I were you,
I'd be scared.Copy !req
479. You're lying!Copy !req
480. No, Paul is the one who's lying,Copy !req
481. and if he's infected,Copy !req
482. a lot of people
are going to die.Copy !req
483. If that's true,
how come it's not on TV?Copy !req
484. How come they're not
telling everybody?Copy !req
485. That's not my decision.Copy !req
486. Well, whose decision is it?Copy !req
487. You knew about it,
and you didn't say anything.Copy !req
488. You knew about it,
and you didn't say anything.Copy !req
489. Why should I tell the truthCopy !req
490. if you won't?Copy !req
491. Elizabeth, Paul is
out there somewhere.Copy !req
492. I have to find him.Copy !req
493. Now, you can help me...Copy !req
494. or not.Copy !req
495. He's on a 10:00 bus
to Toronto.Copy !req
496. She was supposed
to be with him.Copy !req
497. That bus depot's over a half
hour from here, even doing 90.Copy !req
498. Get on that phone to local PD!
I want every man they've got!Copy !req
499. No, no, they don't know
what they're dealing with.Copy !req
500. No, no, they don't know
what they're dealing with.Copy !req
501. If he's infected,
he could spread it.Copy !req
502. What we need now
is control.Copy !req
503. Toronto one way?Copy !req
504. Yes.Copy !req
505. Now, once
we harvest the bloodCopy !req
506. from the insect...Copy !req
507. The toxins.Copy !req
508. They're moving
into my brain,Copy !req
509. just like it did
on the prisoners.Copy !req
510. I don't have
much longer.Copy !req
511. I need you to help me.Copy !req
512. I need you to help me.Copy !req
513. What do you want me to do?Copy !req
514. Go on.Copy !req
515. You have to
complete the test.Copy !req
516. Why did you confide in me?Copy !req
517. It's not a secret
I feel like taking to the grave.Copy !req
518. People have a right to know
the danger we've put them in.Copy !req
519. If your test
comes back negative...Copy !req
520. If your test
comes back negative...Copy !req
521. you have to tell them.Copy !req
522. How can I prove it?Copy !req
523. I don't know.Copy !req
524. But if you don't, it'll
just happen again.Copy !req
525. Don't believe for a second...Copy !req
526. that this is
an isolated incident.Copy !req
527. Will you wait
a second?Copy !req
528. I don't want
to miss the bus.Copy !req
529. You see that?Copy !req
530. They're still loading
your luggage.Copy !req
531. You're not
missing anything.Copy !req
532. You have enough time to give
your mother a kiss good-bye.Copy !req
533. Uh, ticket.Copy !req
534. Be careful.Copy !req
535. Be careful.Copy !req
536. Say hi to Uncle Jay.Copy !req
537. Hey!Copy !req
538. What's the time?Copy !req
539. 20 to 10:00.Copy !req
540. What are you doing?Copy !req
541. This material has
been confiscatedCopy !req
542. and will be destroyed
according to standardCopy !req
543. CDC procedure.Copy !req
544. You don't work for the CDC.Copy !req
545. Where's Dr. Osbourne?Copy !req
546. He told me what happened here.Copy !req
547. What happened here
was unavoidable.Copy !req
548. Well, we'll leave that
up to others to decide.Copy !req
549. Dr. Osbourne is dead.Copy !req
550. No one in this room
will corroborate your story.Copy !req
551. Just be glad this thing
is under control.Copy !req
552. He's here.Copy !req
553. Bought a ticket
to Toronto.Copy !req
554. Son of a bitch.Copy !req
555. And he's infected.Copy !req
556. Mulder.Copy !req
557. Mulder... I think everything
here is under control.Copy !req
558. You okay, Scully?Copy !req
559. Yeah.Copy !req
560. Have you found
the second prisoner?Copy !req
561. Have you found
the second prisoner?Copy !req
562. Yeah, he's headed to Toronto.Copy !req
563. He's alive?Copy !req
564. Mulder, listen to me.Copy !req
565. Everything here
has been destroyed.Copy !req
566. Any evidence whatsoever of a
cover-up has been incinerated.Copy !req
567. That prisoner is the last manCopy !req
568. who can possibly connect
the conspirators.Copy !req
569. But he's infected.
He's going to die.Copy !req
570. If you want the truth, Mulder,Copy !req
571. he's going to have to make
a statement.Copy !req
572. Hold your men back.Copy !req
573. What?Copy !req
574. I'm getting
on the bus.Copy !req
575. We've got
the situation controlled.Copy !req
576. That bus isn't going anywhere.Copy !req
577. There are other
passengers on board.Copy !req
578. There are other
passengers on board.Copy !req
579. The prisoner sees a
uniform, he could panic.Copy !req
580. He panics, and
innocent people die.Copy !req
581. What do you want to do?
I get on the bus,Copy !req
582. I take the seat directly
behind the prisoner,Copy !req
583. I put my gun
to his head,Copy !req
584. I make an announcement
to clear the bus.Copy !req
585. Thank you.Copy !req
586. Can you take your seat, sir?Copy !req
587. There's supposed
to be a man on the bus.Copy !req
588. There's supposed
to be a man on the bus.Copy !req
589. Sir, I've got
a schedule to keep.Copy !req
590. Now, please, take your seat,
or I'm going toCopy !req
591. have to ask you to get off.Copy !req
592. (quietly): Take the key
out of the ignitionCopy !req
593. and turn around slowly.Copy !req
594. What is this?Copy !req
595. I'm with the FBI.Copy !req
596. I need to know if this man
has boarded the bus.Copy !req
597. Yeah.Copy !req
598. That's him.Copy !req
599. Right back there.Copy !req
600. Federal agent!
Drop your weapon!Copy !req
601. Plan "A" has gone to hell.Copy !req
602. Get ready to move, people.Copy !req
603. Let the boy go!Copy !req
604. Move the damn bus!Copy !req
605. You got over two dozenCopy !req
606. U.S. Marshals out there, Paul.Copy !req
607. How far you going to get?Copy !req
608. I'm dying, ain't I?Copy !req
609. The question is: how many people
are you going to take with you?Copy !req
610. What is this thing?Copy !req
611. You were infected in prison.Copy !req
612. What Bobby Torrence had.Copy !req
613. And your girlfriend Elizabeth
and possibly your son.Copy !req
614. How many more people
do you want to expose?Copy !req
615. How many more people
do you want to expose?Copy !req
616. It came from that package
in Bobby's cell, didn't it?Copy !req
617. You saw a package?Copy !req
618. What the hell was it?Copy !req
619. All right,
everybody, off the bus.Copy !req
620. Just keep going.Copy !req
621. Just go. Just go.Copy !req
622. Keep moving.Copy !req
623. Keep moving.Copy !req
624. All right, come on out.Copy !req
625. It's okay.Copy !req
626. Come on out. Just slide out.Copy !req
627. I'm here for you.Copy !req
628. That's it.Copy !req
629. All right, go.Copy !req
630. Go ahead.Copy !req
631. All right, Paul,
what was in that package?Copy !req
632. Paul, what was
in that package?Copy !req
633. A pharmaceutical company
was using you as a guinea pig.Copy !req
634. A pharmaceutical company
was using you as a guinea pig.Copy !req
635. If you tell me
what was in that package,Copy !req
636. I'll make sure
they don't get away with it.Copy !req
637. Come on, Paul, you remember.Copy !req
638. Tell me!Copy !req
639. You have to get off.Copy !req
640. Let's go!Copy !req
641. Come on!Copy !req
642. Robert Torrence
was patient zero—Copy !req
643. the first prisoner
to contract the disease.Copy !req
644. Just before being admitted
to the infirmary,Copy !req
645. he received a package from
Pinck Pharmaceuticals.Copy !req
646. They orchestrated
this entire thing to circumventCopy !req
647. years of FDA trials in order
to get their drug on the market.Copy !req
648. Why are you telling me this,
Agent Mulder?Copy !req
649. Because I wanted you
to hear it from meCopy !req
650. before you read it
in the papers.Copy !req
651. I'd seriously reconsider
bringing thisCopy !req
652. to the media,
if that's your intention.Copy !req
653. Public has a right to know,
so it doesn't happen again.Copy !req
654. And you're going to prove
this elaborate conspiracyCopy !req
655. And you're going to prove
this elaborate conspiracyCopy !req
656. with an empty package
and a dead insect?Copy !req
657. Leave it alone, Agent Mulder.
The epidemic was contained.Copy !req
658. 18 people are dead,
and if you're helping themCopy !req
659. cover the truth
behind those deaths,Copy !req
660. then you're just as guilty
as they are.Copy !req
661. You really have no idea
who you're dealing with, do you?Copy !req
662. I thought
I was dealing with you.Copy !req
663. We can't prove a thing, Mulder.Copy !req
664. They've made sure of it.Copy !req
665. What are you
talking about?Copy !req
666. Costa Rican government
just faxed meCopy !req
667. the report
on the missing scientist.Copy !req
668. the report
on the missing scientist.Copy !req
669. His name was
Robert Torrence—Copy !req
670. the same as our prisoner.Copy !req
671. It was their fail-safe
in case it ever came to this,Copy !req
672. so they could blame it
on a simple postal error.Copy !req
673. A mistake.Copy !req
674. That's why we were given
this assignment, right?Copy !req
675. They knew all along.Copy !req
676. So that even if we succeeded
in finding the truth,Copy !req
677. we'd be discredited
as part of it.Copy !req
678. Am I right?Copy !req
679. Am I right?Copy !req
680. You never had a chance,
Agent Mulder.Copy !req
681. For every step you take,
they're three steps ahead.Copy !req
682. Well, what about you?
Where do you stand?Copy !req
683. I stand right on the line
that you keep crossing.Copy !req
684. Come on, let's go.Copy !req
685. Agent Mulder.Copy !req
686. I'm saying this as a friend.Copy !req
687. Watch your back.Copy !req
688. Watch your back.Copy !req
689. This is just the beginning.Copy !req
690. I made this!Copy !req
