1. - Any luck?

2. - How do we tell if they're poison?

3. - There's only one sure way I know of.

4. - Ask Shane when he gets back?

5. - Yeah, you got it.

6. Thank you.

7. - Dale.

8. Heading out.

9. Sweetheart, I want you stay where Dale can see you, OK?

10. - Yes, Mum.

11. - You too.

12. Don't wander too far.

13. Stay within shouting distance.

14. And if you see anything, holler.

15. I'll come running.

16. - Yes, Mum.

17. - Shh, shh, shh.

18. - Scared the hell out of me.

19. - I bet.

20. That's what you get for keeping me away.

21. I was trying to be quiet.

22. Where you been?

23. - Amy, the mushroom queen.

24. I had to wait for her to get back.

25. - How much time we have?

26. - Enough.

27. Hey, you alive in there?

28. - Uh!

29. Hello?

30. Hello? There.

31. You are.

32. You had me wondering.

33. - Where are you?

34. Are you outside?

35. Can you see me right now?

36. Yeah.

37. I can see you.

38. You're surrounded by walkers.

39. That's the bad news.

40. - There's good news?

41. No.

42. - Listen, whoever you are, I don't mind telling you,

43. I'm a little concerned in here.

44. Oh, man.

45. You should see from over here.

46. You'd be having a major freak out.

47. - Got any advice for me?

48. Yeah.

49. I'd say, make a run for it.

50. - That's it?

51. Make a run for it?

52. My way's not as dumb as it sounds.

53. You got eyes on the outside here.

54. There's one geek still up in the tank,

55. but the others have climbed down and joined the feeding

56. frenzy where the horse went down.

57. You with me so far?

58. - So far.

59. OK.

60. The street on the other side of the street is less crowded.

61. If you move now while they're distracted, you stand a chance.

62. Got ammo?

63. - In that duffel bag I dropped out there and guns.

64. Can I get to it?

65. Forget the bag.

66. It's not an option.

67. What do you have on you?

68. - Hang on.

69. Yeah.

70. Yeah.

71. I got a Beretta with one clip, 15 rounds.

72. Make 'em count.

73. Jump off the right side of the tank,

74. keep going in that direction.

75. There's an alley up the street, maybe 50 yards.

76. Be there.

77. - Hey, what's your name?

78. Have you been listening?

79. You're running out of time.

80. - Come on, Come on.

81. Faster.

82. Come on.

83. Come on.

84. - What are you doing?

85. Come on!

86. Nice moves there, Clint Eastwood.

87. You the new sheriff?

88. Come riding in to clean up the town?

89. - Wasn't my intention.

90. - Yeah, whatever.

91. Yeehaw.

92. You're still a dumb-ass.

93. - Rick, thanks.

94. - Glenn.

95. You're welcome.

96. Oh, no.

97. Right side?

98. It'll be the fall that kills us.

99. I'm a glass-half-full kind of guy.

100. - You the one barricaded the alley?

101. - Somebody did.

102. I guess when the city got overrun, whoever

103. did it was thinking how many geeks get through.

104. - Back at the tank, why'd you stick your neck out for me?

105. - Call it foolish, naive hope, that if I'm ever

106. that far up shit creek, somebody might do the same for me.

107. I guess I'm an even bigger dumb ass than you.

108. I'm back.

109. Got a guest.

110. There's four geeks in the alley.

111. - Loretta!

112. Let's go!

113. - Son of a bitch.

114. I ought to kill you.

115. - Just chill out, Andrea.

116. Back off.

117. - Come on.

118. Ease up.

119. - Ease up?

120. You're kidding me, right?

121. We're dead because of this stupid asshole.

122. - Andrea.

123. I said back the hell off.

124. Or pull the trigger.

125. - We're dead.

126. All of us.

127. Because of you.

128. - I don't understand.

129. - Look, we came into the city to scavenge supplies.

130. You know what the key to scavenging is?

131. Surviving.

132. You know what the key to surviving is?

133. Sneaking in and out.

134. Tiptoeing, not shooting up the streets

135. like it's the OK Corral.

136. Every geek from miles around heard you popping off rounds.

137. - You just rang the dinner bell.

138. - Got the picture now?

139. - Let's go.

140. - What the hell were you doing out there anyway?

141. - Trying to flag the helicopter.

142. - Helicopter?

143. - Man, that's crap.

144. There ain't no damn helicopter.

145. You were chasing a hallucination,

146. imagining things that were happening.

147. - I saw it.

148. - Hey, T-Dog try that CB.

149. Can you contact the others?

150. - Others?

151. - The Refugee Centre?

152. - Yeah, The Refugee Centre.

153. They got biscuits waiting in the oven for us.

154. - Got no signal.

155. Maybe the roof.

156. - Oh, God, Was that Dixon?

157. - What's that man doing?

158. - Come on, let's go.

159. Hey, Dixon!

160. Are you crazy?

161. - Hey, you ought to be more polite to a man with a gun.

162. Huh?

163. - Only common sense.

164. - Man, you're wasting bullets we ain't even got, man.

165. And you bring 'em all down here on our ass, man.

166. Just chill.

167. - Hey.

168. Bad enough I got this taco bender on my ass all day,

169. now I'm going to take orders from you?

170. I don't think so, bro.

171. That'll be the day.

172. - That'll be the day?

173. You got something you want to tell me?

174. - Hey, T-Dog, man, just leave. - No.

175. - It ain't worth it.

176. Now, Merle, just relax.

177. OK?

178. We've got enough trouble.

179. - You want another day?

180. - Yeah.

181. - I'll tell you the day, Mr. Yo, it's

182. the day I take orders from a nigger.

183. - Hey, come on.

184. That's enough

185. - Get off him!

186. Dixon, don't!

187. No, no, no.

188. Please, please.

189. - Yeah.

190. All right.

191. We're going to have ourselves a little pow wow.

192. Huh?

193. Talk about who's in charge.

194. I vote me.

195. Anybody else?

196. Democracy time, y'all.

197. Show of hands.

198. Huh?

199. All in favour?

200. Huh?

201. Come on.

202. Let's see 'em.

203. All in favor?

204. That's good.

205. Now, that means I'm the boss, right?

206. Anybody else?

207. Anybody?

208. - Yeah.

209. - Who the hell are you, man?

210. - Officer Friendly.

211. Look here, Mo.

212. Things are different now.

213. There are no niggers any more, no dumb-as-shit,

214. inbred white trash fools either.

215. Only dark meat and white meat.

216. There's us and the dead.

217. We survive this by pulling together, not apart.

218. - Screw you, man.

219. - I can see you make a habit of missing the point.

220. Yeah?

221. Well, screw you twice.

222. - You ought to be polite to a man with a gun, only common sense.

223. - You, you're a cop.

224. - All I am anymore is a man looking for his wife and son.

225. Anybody gets in the way of that's going to lose.

226. I'll give you a moment to think about that.

227. Got some on your nose there.

228. - What are you going to do?

229. Arrest me?

230. Heh, heh.

231. Hey. what are you doing, man?

232. That's my stuff.

233. Hey, God!

234. If I get loose, you better pray— God!

235. You hear me, you pig.

236. You hear me?

237. - Yeah, your voice carries.

238. - You hear me, you filthy pig.

239. - You're not Atlanta PD.

240. Where you from?

241. - Up the road a ways.

242. - Well, Officer Friendly, from up the road a ways,

243. welcome to the big city.

244. - My god, it's like 10 squared down there.

245. - How's that signal?

246. - It's like Dixon's brain, weak.

247. - Keep trying.

248. - Why?

249. There's nothing they can do.

250. Not a damn thing.

251. - Got some people outside the city, is all.

252. - There's no Refugee Centre.

253. That's a pipe dream.

254. - He's right.

255. We're on our own.

256. Up to us to find a way out.

257. - Good luck with that.

258. These streets ain't safe in this part of town from what I hear.

259. Ain't that right, sugar tits?

260. Hey, honey bun, what say you get me out of these cuffs,

261. we go off somewhere and bump some uglies.

262. Gonna die anyway.

263. - I'd rather.

264. - Muff muncher.

265. Figured as much.

266. - Streets ain't safe.

267. Now there's an understatement.

268. - What about under the streets, the sewers?

269. - Oh, man.

270. Hey, Glenn, check the alley.

271. You see any manhole covers?

272. - No.

273. They must be all out on the street where the geeks are.

274. - Maybe not.

275. Old building like this, built in the '20s, big structures

276. often had drainage tunnels into the sewers in case of flood.

277. Down in the sub-basements.

278. - How do you know that?

279. - It's my job.

280. Was.

281. I worked in the city zoning office.

282. - This is it?

283. You sure?

284. - I really scoped this place out the other times I was here.

285. It;s the only thing in the building that goes down.

286. But I've never gone down it.

287. Wouldn't want to, right?

288. Oh.

289. Great.

290. - We'll be right behind you.

291. - No, you won't.

292. Not you.

293. - Why not me?

294. Think I can't?

295. - What?

296. - Speak your mind.

297. Look, until now, I always came here by myself, in and out,

298. grab a few things, no problem.

299. First time I bring a group, everything goes to hell.

300. No offence.

301. If you want me to go down this gnarly hole, fine.

302. But only if we do it my way.

303. it's tight down there.

304. If I run into something and I have to get out quick,

305. I don't want you all jammed up behind me, getting me killed.

306. I'll take one person, not you either.

307. You've got Mo's gun and I've seen you shoot.

308. I'd feel better if you're out in that store,

309. watching those doors, covering your ass.

310. You've got the only other gun so you should go with him.

311. You be my wing man.

312. Jackie stays here.

313. Something happens, yell down to us.

314. Get us back up here in a hurry.

315. OK?

316. - OK.

317. Everybody knows their jobs.

318. - Sorry for the gun in your face.

319. - People do things when they're afraid.

320. - Not that it was entirely unjustified.

321. They did get us into this.

322. - If I get us out, would that make up for it?

323. - No.

324. But it would be a start.

325. - Next time though, take the safety off.

326. Won't shoot otherwise.

327. - Oh.

328. - Is that your gun?

329. - It was a gift, why?

330. - Little red dot means it's ready to fire.

331. May have occasion to use it.

332. - Good to know.

333. - Anybody out there?

334. Hello?

335. Anybody read?

336. I'm hoping to hear somebody's voice, because I'm

337. getting sick and tired of hearing mine.

338. - Yeah, well, that makes two of us.

339. Why don't you knock that crap off.

340. Giving me a headache, boy.

341. - Why don't you pull your head out your ass, maybe

342. your headache will go away.

343. Try some positivity for a change, damn.

344. - I tell you what, you get me out of these cuffs,

345. and I'll be all Sammy Sunshine and positive for you.

346. Hey, see that hacksaw over there?

347. In that tool bin?

348. Get it for me.

349. Make it worth your while.

350. What do you say, man, come on.

351. Get me out of these things.

352. - So you can beat my ass again?

353. Call me nigger some more?

354. - Come on now, it wasn't personal.

355. It's just that your kind and my kind ain't meant to mix.

356. That's all.

357. don't mean we can't work together, parlay,

358. as long as there's some kind of mutual gain involved.

359. So, about that hacksaw.

360. - I guess you want to get that rifle over there too so you can

361. shoot that cop when he comes back up, huh?

362. - Yeah, we got ourselves a sewer tunnel.

363. Jackie was right.

364. - Can we cut through it?

365. - If we had a blowtorch and half a day.

366. Sure.

367. Dell's hacksaw sure as hell won't do it.

368. - See something you like?

369. - Not me, but I know someone who would.

370. My sister.

371. She's still such a kid in some ways.

372. Unicorns, dragons.

373. She's into all that stuff.

374. But mermaids, they rule She loves mermaids.

375. - Why not take it?

376. - There's a cop staring at me.

377. Would it be considered looting?

378. - Don't think those rules apply anymore.

379. Do you?

380. - What did you find down there?

381. Is that a way out?

382. - We were waiting to find a way.

383. Soon.

384. - That construction site, those trucks.

385. They always keep keys on hand.

386. - They'll never make it past the walkers.

387. - You got me out of that tank.

388. - Yeah, but they were feeding.

389. They were distracted.

390. - Can we distract them again?

391. - Right.

392. Listen to him.

393. He's on to something.

394. A diversion.

395. Like on "Hogan's Heroes."

396. - God.

397. Give it a rest.

398. - They're drawn by sound, right?

399. - Right.

400. Like dogs.

401. They hear sound, they come.

402. - What else?

403. - Aside from they hear you, they see you, smell you.

404. And if they catch you, they eat you.

405. - They can tell us by smell?

406. - Can't you?

407. - They smell dead, we don't.

408. It's pretty distinct.

409. - If bad ideas were an Olympic event,

410. this would take the gold.

411. - He's right.

412. Just stop, OK?

413. Take some time to think this through.

414. - How much time?

415. They already got through one set of doors.

416. That glass won't hold forever.

417. - Wayne Dunlap.

418. Georgia licence.

419. Born 1979.

420. He had $28 in his pocket when he died

421. and a picture of a pretty girl.

422. With love, from Rachel.

423. He used to be like us.

424. Worrying about bills, or the rent, the Super Bowl.

425. If I ever find my family, I'm going to tell them about Wayne.

426. - One more thing, he was an organ donor.

427. - Keep chopping.

428. - Later.

429. - Everybody got gloves?

430. Don't get any on your skin or in your eyes.

431. - Oh, God!

432. Oh, geez.

433. It's bad.

434. It's really bad.

435. - Think about something else.

436. Puppies and kittens.

437. - Dead puppies and kittens.

438. - That is just evil.

439. What is wrong with you?

440. - Next time, let the cracker beat his ass.

441. - I'm sorry, y'all.

442. Sorry.

443. - Do we smell like them?

444. - Oh, yeah.

445. Glenn.

446. Just in case.

447. - If we make it back, be ready.

448. - What about Merle Dixon?

449. - Give me the axe.

450. We need more guts.

451. - Hey, what's happening, man?

452. - Hey, T-Dog, try that CB.

453. - Hey, come on.

454. Talk to me, you all.

455. Base camp, this is T-Dog.

456. Anybody hear me?

457. Can anybody out there hear me?

458. There.

459. - That asshole's out on the street with the handcuff keys?

460. - That hose isn't long for this world, is it?

461. - No, sir.

462. - Where the hell are we going to find a replacement?

463. - It's late.

464. They should've been back by now.

465. - Worrying won't make it better.

466. Atta boy.

467. And three, two, one, pull it.

468. - Start it over.

469. Make a P, the other way, around your finger.

470. We OK, just tie it like around your finger.

471. Hello, Base camp.

472. Is there anybody out there?

473. Base camp, this is T-Dog.

474. Anybody hear me?

475. - Hello.

476. Hello.

477. Reception's bad on this end.

478. Repeat, repeat.

479. - Shane, is that you?

480. - Is that them?

481. [BROKEN WORDS, STATIC]

482. - He said they're trapped.

483. Geeks all over the place.

484. Department store.

485. We're surrounded.

486. - T-Dog, repeat that last.

487. Repeat.

488. - He said the department store.

489. - I heard it too.

490. - Shane.

491. - No way.

492. We do not go after them.

493. We do not risk the rest the group.

494. You all know that.

495. - So we're just going to leave her there?

496. - Amy, I know that this not easy.

497. - She volunteered to go to help the rest of us.

498. - I know it.

499. She knew the risks, right?

500. So she's trapped.

501. She's gone.

502. So we just have to deal with that.

503. There's nothing we can do.

504. - She's my sister, you son of a bitch.

505. - Amy.

506. - Come on.

507. - It's going to work.

508. I can't believe it.

509. - Don't draw attention.

510. - Oh, man.

511. - It's just a cloudburst.

512. We get them the time.

513. It'll pass real quick.

514. - The smell's washing off.

515. Isn't it?

516. Isn't it washing off?

517. - No, it's not.

518. Well, maybe.

519. - Run!

520. - Come on, come on, come on.

521. - Quick!

522. Go, go, go!

523. - They're leaving us.

524. - No, no.

525. Where are they going?

526. - No, no, come back.

527. - Oh, God, oh, God.

528. They're all over that place.

529. - You need to draw them away.

530. Those roll up doors at the front of the store,

531. that area, that's what I need cleared.

532. Raise your friends.

533. Tell them to get down there and be ready.

534. I'm trying to guess the way how.

535. I missed that part.

536. - Noise.

537. - Those roll-up doors at the front of the store,

538. facing the street. Meet us there and be ready.

539. Come on. Let's go.

540. Let's go.

541. - Hey, you can't leave me here.

542. You can't leave me.

543. Don't leave me here, you guys.

544. - Come on!

545. - I'm coming.

546. - We gotta go!

547. You can't leave me like this, man.

548. Hey, T-Dog.

549. No man, you can't leave me, man.

550. You can't leave me here.

551. Not like this.

552. You can't, man.

553. It's not human.

554. Come on. don't do this.

555. Come on.

556. Come on.

557. God bless you.

558. Come on, baby.

559. Come on.

560. Son of a bitch.

561. You.

562. - I didn't mean to.
