The Legend of Korra 4x4

While the young airbenders look far and wide for Korra, Ikki is briefly captured by two Earth Empire soldiers. Based on what they say, Ikki leads the trio to the swamp. There, Korra is still haunted by visions of being hurt by her past enemies, but manages to connect to the siblings through the great banyan-grove tree's roots. After they beg her to resume her Avatar duties to face Kuvira, Toph's advice helps Korra to let go of her fears, bend the rest of the poison out of herself and re-enter the Avatar State.

9. So tenzin tasked jinora, ikki, and meelo

10. With finding the avatar.

11. Unbeknownst to the kids,

12. Korra found refuge in the swamp with toph,

13. Who discovered there was still metal poison in her body.

14. But when toph tried removing it, korra resisted.

22. - Mom, we'll be fine.

23. Grandpa aang and his friends were around our age

24. When they traveled the world.

25. - Well, at least I won't have to worry

26. About you starving out there.

27. - Mom, we're going to be in the wild,

28. Living off the land.

29. We don't need your food.

30. - But I made your favorite treat.

31. - Sweet buns with happy faces on them?

32. Well, I guess we're not officially on the road yet.

33. Aw, this one is smudged.

35. - You know, sometimes, things get smudged in the wild.

38. I'll be able to hone in on her spiritual energy.

202. And with each delicious snack

209. - Who cares?

210. I don't want to see them.

211. I'd rather hang out here with you guys.

240. And then the whole empire will be united.

241. And you know there's gonna be a huge party afterwards.

245. My brother and sister are always leaving me out of fun stuff.

246. I mean, we're supposed to be looking

259. - Don't get discouraged, ikki.

260. You're a valuable member of the team,

262. I know you're gonna find her.

286. And so does the swamp.

287. It can sense you're out of balance.

288. It'll teach you what you need to learn,

292. Now, why do you think that is?

293. - I don't know, because they've made me

294. And a lot of other people suffer.

295. - Sounds like you're carrying around your former enemies,

296. The same way you're still carrying around

298. You ever consider maybe you could learn something from them?

299. - Sounds like the swamp's messing with your mind too.

300. - My mind is just fine, thank you.

301. Listen, what did amon want?

303. Unalaq? He brought back the spirits.

304. And zaheer believed in freedom.

305. - I guess.

306. - The problem was, those guys were totally out of balance,

307. And they took their ideologies too far.

308. - Okay, fine.

309. But that doesn't explain why they keep haunting me.

310. - Because you need to face your fears.

312. If you're still fighting the old ones.

313. - Maybe you're right, but how am I supposed to move on?

314. - Boy, you avatars sure need a lot of hand-holding.

318. And I figure if korra's not feeling good,

319. She might come to a spiritual place like this to get better.

320. - There is an enormous amount of spiritual activity here,

321. But I don't feel korra.

322. - Well, that's what we get for listening to ikki.

323. - Guys, we just got here. Let's at least look around.

324. - I'm sorry, ikki, but I'm with meelo on this.

325. I don't think we're going to find her here.

326. Let's go, pepper.
