37. Told ya.Copy !req
38. Hey, you all right?Copy !req
39. Want me
to warm you up?
I'm okay.Copy !req
40. You can warm me

hold you to that.Copy !req
42. She's there.Copy !req
43. Inside.Copy !req
44. Hey... go.Copy !req

46. Okay. Well,
hey, hold up.Copy !req
47. No. Wait a minute!Copy !req
48. Okay. Whoa. Whoa.Copy !req
49. Calm down, all right?Copy !req
50. You with the cops?Copy !req
51. I can't go back.Copy !req
52. We're not cops, okay?
We heard you broke outCopy !req
53. of the mutant detention
center and we came looking.Copy !req
54. I don't understand.Copy !req
55. Who are you?Copy !req
56. Just a couple of
freaks, same as you.Copy !req
57. Look, I'm Marcos,
this is Lorna.Copy !req
58. Now, trust me, we have all been
where you are, or worse.Copy !req
59. We can help.Copy !req
60. Now come with us.Copy !req
61. We can get you
some place safe...

64. You're with us now.Copy !req
65. What is it?Copy !req
66. Cops. Coming
fast this way.Copy !req
67. Kill the lights.Copy !req
68. How many?Copy !req
69. At least ten,
from the west and south.Copy !req
70. This is the Atlanta
Police Department.Copy !req
71. We know the fugitive is
in the building.Copy !req
72. Come out now,
or we will open fire.Copy !req
73. The window!Copy !req
74. One suspect
at the window!Copy !req
75. Open fire!Copy !req
76. Lorna!
I'm fine.
Find us a way out!Copy !req
77. Lorna! Get out of there!Copy !req
78. Go! Go!Copy !req
79. Come on! Over here!Copy !req
80. Marcos!Copy !req
81. God!Copy !req
82. Lorna! Come back!Copy !req
83. Come, come back!Copy !req
84. Freeze!
(Lorna groaning,
electrical hissing)Copy !req
85. Lorna! Stop!Copy !req
86. No!
Put your hands
behind your back!Copy !req
87. Marcos!
Lorna!Copy !req
88. I understand
you have some concernsCopy !req
89. about your son, Andy?Copy !req
90. Yes, we believe
he's being bullied.Copy !req
91. Belleview High hasCopy !req
92. a zero tolerance policy
towards bullying.Copy !req
93. That's why we came.Copy !req
94. Um, Andy and I have always been
very close, but lately he...Copy !req
95. he just stopped
talking to me.Copy !req
96. It's affecting his grades.Copy !req
97. He-He's not sleeping.Copy !req
98. In situations
like this,Copy !req
99. we like to use
the "CARE" system— communicate,Copy !req
100. adjust, reconcileCopy !req
101. and empathize. First,
we take the kids,Copy !req
102. and we put them together
to talk.Copy !req
103. These boys are-are
tormenting our son.Copy !req
104. I understand that's upsetting.Copy !req
105. Stop right there.
Let me be clear.Copy !req
106. Andy needs help,Copy !req
107. and if he doesn't get it, I will
sue this school into oblivion.Copy !req
108. Mr. Strucker,Copy !req
109. we have procedures. I can't...Copy !req
110. Then get someone who can.Copy !req
111. Now.Copy !req
112. Okay, I'll-I'll be right back.Copy !req
113. Wow. Scary.Copy !req
114. Was it too much?Copy !req
115. I felt like the glaring was
a little over the top.
No.Copy !req
116. That was the perfect
amount of glaring.Copy !req
117. Ugh. I got to go
to Garland.Copy !req
118. Plea conference
with a suspect.Copy !req
119. They need me there ASAP.Copy !req
120. Will you tell the kids
I'm really sorry?Copy !req
121. I'll be back tomorrow.Copy !req
122. The kids understand.Copy !req
123. You're keeping us safe.Copy !req
124. I love you.Copy !req
125. I love you, too.Copy !req
126. Bye.
Bye.Copy !req
127. You have no preference?Copy !req
128. They are two
completely different outfits.Copy !req
129. I don't know. I'm sorry.Copy !req
130. You look good in both.Copy !req
131. Not helpful, Jack.Copy !req
132. Now just pick an outfit.Copy !req
133. I don't know. Um...Copy !req
134. Lauren, I'm home.Copy !req
135. The blue one. Do the blue one.Copy !req
136. That one looks nice.Copy !req
137. Also, uh, do you want me
to pick you up?Copy !req
138. Because it's no problem.Copy !req
139. No, but I'll push
for an 11:30 curfew.Copy !req
140. I'll see you tonight.
Bye.Copy !req
141. So, Lauren,
how was choir?Copy !req
142. Good. We're practicing
for the spring concert.Copy !req
143. Are you still going
to the dance tonight?Copy !req
144. Want me to show you
some of my moves?Copy !req
145. No, thank you.Copy !req
146. How about you?
How was your day?Copy !req
147. Uh, bad.Copy !req
148. I mean, you were there.Copy !req
149. I meant your classes.Copy !req
150. Anything interesting?Copy !req
151. We had a debate
in social studies about the lawCopy !req
152. they want to make
to test people with the X-geneCopy !req
153. and, like, monitor
them. I don't know.Copy !req
154. Anyway, this one kid
was, like, freaking out.Copy !req
155. I guess his cousin's
a mutie or something.Copy !req
156. Mutie, Andy? Racist much?Copy !req
157. What?
Person of genetic difference.Copy !req
158. You are such an ass!Copy !req
159. Okay, please.
You're fightingCopy !req
160. about social studies
class now.Copy !req
161. Can we not have
a normal conversation?Copy !req
162. Guess not.Copy !req
163. Ms. Dane?Copy !req
164. My name is Reed Strucker.Copy !req
165. This is my associate,
Carla Jackson.Copy !req
166. I'd offer you a seat,
but, uh, you know.Copy !req
167. You're accused of the attempted
murder of two police officers.Copy !req
168. That
plus the enhanced sentencingCopy !req
169. for the use
of your mutant abilities.Copy !req
170. Equals I'm screwed.Copy !req
171. Yeah, I got that.Copy !req
172. We can reduce the chargesCopy !req
173. in exchange
for your cooperation.Copy !req
174. Look, all I know is,
I was walking in the rain,Copy !req
175. and some cops shot at me.Copy !req
176. Come on, Ms. Dane.Copy !req
177. You and your associatesCopy !req
178. in the mutant underground
have aided and abetted dozens,Copy !req
179. if not hundreds, of fugitives.Copy !req
180. Reed.
It's okay.Copy !req
181. Believe it or not,
I'm trying to help you.Copy !req
182. These are serious charges.Copy !req
183. Attempted murder...Copy !req
184. Those screws in your
knee— old sports injury?Copy !req
185. If I wanted to,Copy !req
186. I could tear out those screwsCopy !req
187. and show you
some attempted murder.Copy !req
188. Believe me, if I wanted
those cops dead, they'd be dead.Copy !req
189. There's a factor
you may not be aware of.Copy !req
190. I am gonna ask the courtCopy !req
191. to assign you a lawyer, okay?Copy !req
192. You've got a big decision
to make, Ms. Dane.Copy !req
193. Son of a bitch.Copy !req
194. No, no, no, no.Copy !req
195. No.Copy !req
196. No! No!Copy !req
197. Give it some thought.Copy !req
198. Be home at 11:30!Copy !req
199. I know, I know. I love you.Copy !req
200. Yo.Copy !req
201. What are you doing here?Copy !req
202. I snuck out.
I thought I'd go with you.Copy !req
203. Didn't you tell Mom
you were going to bed?Copy !req
204. Yeah, that's why they call it
sneaking. Can we go?Copy !req
205. You can't.
What if she finds out?Copy !req
206. If I get caught, I'll tell her
I was going down to Ian's.Copy !req
207. You won't get in trouble.Copy !req
208. When was the last timeCopy !req
209. I got to go out on a weekend?Copy !req
210. It's like I'm a...Copy !req
211. one-one of those baby cows
they keep in the crates.Copy !req
212. Veal?Copy !req
213. Yeah. I'm being raised
like a veal.Copy !req
214. You really want
to go to a dance?Copy !req
215. After everything
that's been going on at school?Copy !req
216. You mean my fan club?Copy !req
217. Yeah, whatever.
I'm used to them.Copy !req
218. Buckle up.Copy !req
219. Oh, my God.Copy !req
220. Lauren.Copy !req
221. Hi.Copy !req
222. Okay, that's enough.Copy !req
223. Leave room for Jesus.Copy !req
224. Hey, dude.Copy !req
225. You, uh...
Going to the dance.Copy !req
226. Yeah, that's me.
I'm a dance guy now.Copy !req
227. Okay. Well, have fun.Copy !req
228. Yeah, you, too.Copy !req
229. Don't get pregnant!Copy !req
230. Hey. Do you want to dance?Copy !req
231. Are you sure you can't
stay out a little later?Copy !req
232. You know my mom.
It's not gonna happen.Copy !req
233. Just ask.Copy !req
234. I have Andy with me.Copy !req
235. I can't stay out later.Copy !req
236. Hey, look who's here.Copy !req
237. The school called
my parents today.Copy !req
238. Look, I had nothing
to do with that, okay?Copy !req
239. You gonna do this here?Copy !req
240. In front of everyone?Copy !req
241. Yeah, I guess you're
right, Strucker.Copy !req
242. This isn't the place.Copy !req
243. No...
This is the place.Copy !req
244. Wait, no, no!Copy !req
245. Let me go!Copy !req
246. Help! Help me!Copy !req
247. Hey! Hey!Copy !req
248. Hey, Strucker.Copy !req
249. When was the last time
you took a shower?Copy !req
250. No, no, no... Aah! Aah!Copy !req
251. Sorry, man.
Too cold?Copy !req
252. Let me fix that.Copy !req
253. How about... now?Copy !req
254. Is that warm enough for you?Copy !req
255. You had to go running
to Mommy and Daddy?Copy !req
256. What is that?Copy !req
257. Come on.
We need to get out of here.Copy !req
258. We need to go.
Come on!
No!Copy !req
259. Lauren, what
are you doing?Copy !req
260. Come on. We have to go!
Andy!Copy !req
261. Come on!
I need to find my brother!Copy !req
262. We have to...
Jack!Copy !req
263. Lauren! Lauren!Copy !req
264. Andy!Copy !req
265. Andy! Andy!Copy !req
266. Andy!Copy !req
267. Andy! Andy, it's me!Copy !req
268. Andy! Look at me!Copy !req
269. It's me! It's me!Copy !req
270. Lauren? Lauren?
It's me. Let's go!Copy !req
271. Lauren, I'm-I'm sorry!
Come on!Copy !req
272. Lauren.Copy !req
273. So, Clarice is your real name?Copy !req
274. Yep.Copy !req
275. Anyone we should contact?Copy !req
276. Family?Copy !req
277. No.Copy !req
278. My family...Copy !req
279. It's complicated.Copy !req
280. Right.Copy !req
281. Well, look, you'll stay here
with us for a few days, lay low,Copy !req
282. and then we will figure out
where to move you.Copy !req
283. Yeah.Copy !req
284. Thank you.Copy !req
285. Hold still. Almost done.Copy !req
286. I'm fine, John. We need
to go after Lorna.Copy !req
287. We get a team
together, we...Copy !req
288. And do what? Huh?Copy !req
289. Get one of us killed?Copy !req
290. Marcos, we barely got
away from a dozen cops.Copy !req
291. Now you want to take on
a hundred?Copy !req
292. We can't take that riskCopy !req
293. right now.
Then when?Copy !req
294. The X-Men, the Brotherhood,Copy !req
295. we don't even know
if they exist anymore.Copy !req
296. We are alone.Copy !req
297. And we are getting picked off
one by one.Copy !req
298. Look around. We'd be risking
all these people.Copy !req
299. Everything we built.Copy !req
300. Everything Lorna built.Copy !req
301. Guys, we got
a situation.Copy !req
302. What is it?
Yes, and as we have reported,Copy !req
303. breaking news on the mutant
attack at Belleview High.Copy !req
304. We believe two young mutants
to be responsibleCopy !req
305. for the destruction.
We've also heardCopy !req
306. the federal authorities
will be getting involved.Copy !req
307. Well, if it wasn't too hot
before, it sure as hell is now.Copy !req
308. I'm sorry.Copy !req
309. It started happening.Copy !req
310. I couldn't stop it.Copy !req
311. I was just so angry.Copy !req
312. Oh, Andy, I...Copy !req
313. I mean, I-I
can't believeCopy !req
314. you di...
you didn't feel anything?Copy !req
315. I just can't believe
there wasn't any warning.Copy !req
316. Mom,Copy !req
317. accept it—
Andy is a mutant.Copy !req
318. That's how mutant
abilities first appear—Copy !req
319. it's moments of
stress or danger.Copy !req
320. Dad talks about thisCopy !req
321. all the time.
Lauren, I... we-we all knowCopy !req
322. about your father's work.
I-I just don't...Copy !req
323. see how that suddenly
makes you an expert.Copy !req
324. Mom, I know because...Copy !req
325. How do you think we
got out of that gym?Copy !req
326. What are you saying?Copy !req
327. I got us out.Copy !req
328. You, too?Copy !req
329. Remember when
we were coming backCopy !req
330. from that concert
at church?Copy !req
331. And the truck
almost hit us?Copy !req
332. For weeks, you were saying
it was a miracle we didn't die.Copy !req
333. Mom...Copy !req
334. it wasn't a miracle.Copy !req
335. That was three years ago.Copy !req
336. Honey, why...Copy !req
337. why didn't you tell me?Copy !req
338. Don't you think I tried?Copy !req
339. You can always talk to me.
Always.Copy !req
340. Your-your dad, too.
Whatever your issues.Copy !req
341. Are you serious?Copy !req
342. Dad puts people like us in jail.Copy !req
343. No, no, no, he
prosecutes criminals.Copy !req
344. He-he...Copy !req
345. he's not against... mutants.Copy !req
346. It's-it's just the
ones who hurt people.Copy !req
347. You mean the ones like me.Copy !req
348. Oh.Copy !req
349. I'll get it.Copy !req
350. Come here.
Just stay here.Copy !req
351. Good evening.Copy !req
352. Mrs. Strucker, right?Copy !req
353. I'm Jace Turner.Copy !req
354. I'm with the Sentinel Services.Copy !req
355. We're a government agency. We
deal with genetically-related...Copy !req
356. I'm familiar with it.Copy !req
357. I'm here about Andrew
and Lauren.Copy !req
358. You're aware that there was a...Copy !req
359. bit of an incident
at the school this evening?Copy !req
360. Yeah. I-I heard.Copy !req
361. I need you to go get 'em for me.Copy !req
362. They're not going anywhere.Copy !req
363. They need an attorney.
My-my husband is a prosecutor.Copy !req
364. We're aware of that.Copy !req
365. Actually, under the
amended Patriot Act,Copy !req
366. we have to secure the safety
of the community first.Copy !req
367. What does that mean?
It means they're comingCopy !req
368. with us.
Just... for now.Copy !req
369. These are my children.Copy !req
370. You-you can't just
cart them off.Copy !req
371. Listen, Mrs. Strucker,
all right, I'm a father myself.Copy !req
372. Okay? I know how difficult
this must be for you.Copy !req
373. But you have to understand,Copy !req
374. this is partially
for their protection.
For their protection?Copy !req
375. Okay, let's not make this
harder than it has to be.Copy !req
376. Please step aside.
No, this is my home!Copy !req
377. You can't just come in here!
Ma'am...Copy !req
378. Yes, we can.
Do not make this harder...Copy !req
379. Yes, we can.
You're not getting...Copy !req
380. Get away from my mom!Copy !req
381. Okay.Copy !req
382. Andrew, Lauren, listen to me.Copy !req
383. You need to calm down.Copy !req
384. You're gonna have
to come with us.Copy !req
385. All right?
We just have a few questions.Copy !req
386. Get out of our house now!Copy !req
387. Run! Go! Go! Go!Copy !req
388. Go!Copy !req
389. Mom, they're coming!Copy !req
390. Andy,
what you did before— do it!Copy !req
391. I can't!
It's not working!Copy !req
392. Drive!Copy !req
393. I can't see!Copy !req
394. Caitlin, Caitlin, slow down.Copy !req
395. If there was a mutant attack
at the school,Copy !req
396. why were there people
at the house?Copy !req
397. You don't understand. I-I...Copy !req
398. I-I-I don't even know
where to begin.Copy !req
399. There's-there's so much.Copy !req
400. Just tell me, are the kids safe?Copy !req
401. Yeah.Copy !req
402. I mean...Copy !req
403. for now, but...
And-and the mutants,Copy !req
404. the ones that attacked them,
did they...Copy !req
405. They weren't attacked
by mutants, Reed.Copy !req
406. That's what I'm trying to say.Copy !req
407. Andy and Lauren...Copy !req
408. are...Copy !req
409. the mutants.Copy !req
410. Oh, my God.Copy !req
411. Uh, Caitlin, Caitlin, uh...Copy !req
412. tell me where you are.Copy !req
413. The important thing is,
everyone's all right.Copy !req
414. Andy...Copy !req
415. was anyone actually hurt?Copy !req
416. I don't know.Copy !req
417. Okay? I-I don't remember it.Copy !req
418. It was just...Copy !req
419. it was all confusing.Copy !req
420. So, to be clear,Copy !req
421. you didn't touch them
before they touched...
Yes, Dad,Copy !req
422. they came after him.Copy !req
423. And after they
came at you...
This isn't a deposition, Reed.Copy !req
424. I am trying to understand
the situation.Copy !req
425. Legally, if they...Copy !req
426. I don't think it matters.Copy !req
427. The man from
Sentinel Services...Copy !req
428. Wait, Sentinel Services?
You mean the police?Copy !req
429. No. Sentinel Services.Copy !req
430. They were just gonna
take Lauren and Andy.Copy !req
431. You can't talk to Cal?
He's the D.A.Copy !req
432. He could...
This is way beyond
Cal's jurisdiction.Copy !req
433. Sentinel Services is
a federal agency.Copy !req
434. The only reason
you got away isCopy !req
435. they didn't have enough time
to put a full team together.Copy !req
436. We, uh...Copy !req
437. we have to go.Copy !req
438. Now.Copy !req
439. Um...Copy !req
440. Okay, we-we could
call Jenny.Copy !req
441. I am not talking about staying
at your sister's condoCopy !req
442. in Phoenix for a few days.Copy !req
443. I mean, we have
to go somewhereCopy !req
444. where the mutant laws
are looser.Copy !req
445. Like...Copy !req
446. MexicoCopy !req
447. or...Copy !req
448. Mexico?Copy !req
449. Everything we own
is at the house.Copy !req
450. The last time Sentinel ServicesCopy !req
451. got involved
with one of my cases,Copy !req
452. the suspect disappeared.Copy !req
453. I am not gonna
let that happen to us.Copy !req
454. I'm gonna figure
something out, I promise.Copy !req
455. There is nothing more important
to me than my family.Copy !req
456. Walk me through what you need
from us again, please.Copy !req
457. We're gonna need access
to Mr. Strucker's office,Copy !req
458. his computer, his e-mail.Copy !req
459. And you realize there may be
confidential informationCopy !req
460. related to cases?Copy !req
461. Court order's
being prepared.Copy !req
462. I understand— I got
to say, though, I do find itCopy !req
463. hard to believe
he would just run.Copy !req
464. I mean, he's been
with this office for 15 years,Copy !req
465. the mutant task force
for the last five.Copy !req
466. In my experience,Copy !req
467. things change when
it's your own kid.Copy !req
468. This is Carla.Copy !req
469. Carla, it's me.Copy !req
470. Reed, where are you?
What's going on?Copy !req
471. Sentinel Services is upstairs
in our offices.Copy !req
472. I know. That's why I'm calling.
I need your help.Copy !req
473. Help? What do you need?Copy !req
474. I need the case file for the
mutant network investigation.Copy !req
475. What? Are you serious? That's...Copy !req
476. I don't know what else to do.Copy !req
477. I have to get my family
someplace safe.Copy !req
478. If I can contact them,
they might be able to help.Copy !req
479. Reed, you've done a lot for me.Copy !req
480. I owe my career to you,Copy !req
481. but this is an open case—
I could get disbarred.Copy !req
482. I could get arrested.Copy !req
483. This is my children,
Carla, please.Copy !req
484. I know this, like, sucks,
but honestly,Copy !req
485. it's a relief to finally be able
to talk to Mom and Dad about it.Copy !req
486. Guess all it took
was me ruining our lives.Copy !req
487. Andy. It wasn't your fault.
If it wasn't for me,Copy !req
488. we wouldn't even
be here— I mean, I
nearly got us killed,Copy !req
489. and then last
night with the car,Copy !req
490. I could have
actually helped,Copy !req
491. and I-I couldn't
even do anything.Copy !req
492. It gets better.Copy !req
493. At first, it's like...Copy !req
494. it's like a sneeze—
something that just happens.Copy !req
495. You have to work at it.Copy !req
496. What does it feel
like when you...?Copy !req
497. You know when you
put your handCopy !req
498. out of the window
of a moving car?Copy !req
499. You can feel the air
and, like... guide it?Copy !req
500. Yeah.Copy !req
501. I can... push
the air together.Copy !req
502. With water, too,
other stuff—Copy !req
503. it's just... harder.Copy !req
504. What about you?Copy !req
505. I don't know.Copy !req
506. I-I was looking at those guys,
and I just...Copy !req
507. wanted to push
everything away, you know?Copy !req
508. Well, I'd say you did
a pretty good job of that.Copy !req
509. A-plus.Copy !req
510. First A-plus I've ever gotten.Copy !req
511. Hey.Copy !req
512. Who taught you how to swim?Copy !req
513. You.Copy !req
514. I can teach you this.Copy !req
515. Watch.Copy !req
516. Dude!Copy !req
517. Now you try.Copy !req
518. Take it slow.Copy !req
519. Focus... on
how you felt.Copy !req
520. Okay?Copy !req
521. That's good.
That's awesome.Copy !req
522. Andy, that's enough.Copy !req
523. Andy.Copy !req
524. Andy!Copy !req
525. Andy!Copy !req
526. Oh, my God.Copy !req
527. I'm sorry.
It's okay.Copy !req
528. I'm sorry.
It's okay.
We got to go.Copy !req
529. We got to go. Go!Copy !req
530. Is that your dog?Copy !req
531. She's, uh...Copy !req
532. she's everybody's, really.Copy !req
533. I just wanted to say...Copy !req
534. thanks for,
you know,Copy !req
535. saving me.Copy !req
536. Even though I threw
a coffeepot at your head.Copy !req
537. And a mug.Copy !req
538. And a mug.Copy !req
539. Don't worry about it.Copy !req
540. So...Copy !req
541. this group—Copy !req
542. you guys run it?Copy !req
543. No.Copy !req
544. The network's nationwide.Copy !req
545. Founded after the anti-mutant
laws first got bad.Copy !req
546. Just before the X-Men
disappeared.Copy !req
547. What about this place?Copy !req
548. Uh, it's been abandoned
since Oakwood.Copy !req
549. Figure it's the last
place they'd look.Copy !req
550. I got brought into this station
by, uh, John and...Copy !req
551. and by Lorna.Copy !req
552. I guess this has something to do
with getting her out of jail?Copy !req
553. Yeah. Well...Copy !req
554. that was the idea.Copy !req
555. Should work great,Copy !req
556. as long as they have no guards
or cameras...Copy !req
557. Or smoke detectors?Copy !req
558. Yeah.Copy !req
559. For what it's worth,Copy !req
560. uh...Copy !req
561. I know you lost her
helping me, and I'm...Copy !req
562. I'm sorry.Copy !req
563. That's all right—
wasn't your fault.Copy !req
564. You got yourself out of prisonCopy !req
565. using some kind
of portal, right?Copy !req
566. You think you
could get someone in?Copy !req
567. It doesn't work like that.Copy !req
568. It's bad if I tryCopy !req
569. to go someplace
that I can't see,Copy !req
570. someplace I haven't been.Copy !req
571. What do you mean by bad?Copy !req
572. See?Copy !req
573. Right.Copy !req
574. That was her favorite toy.Copy !req
575. Ooh.Copy !req
576. My bad.Copy !req
577. Hello.Copy !req
578. Is this Marcos Diaz?
Uh-huh. Who's this?Copy !req
579. How'd you get this number?Copy !req
580. My name is Reed Strucker.Copy !req
581. My family needs help
getting across the border.Copy !req
582. You and the people
you work with,Copy !req
583. you do that, right?
Maybe.Copy !req
584. Did you hear
about the mutant incident?Copy !req
585. At the high school?Copy !req
586. Those were my kids.Copy !req
587. I'm sorry, I can't...Copy !req
588. I'm a prosecutor with the city.Copy !req
589. I was involved
with building a caseCopy !req
590. against you and your associatesCopy !req
591. for the district attorney's
office.Copy !req
592. And you're calling me for help?Copy !req
593. Now, why should I liftCopy !req
594. a finger for you?Copy !req
595. Because I can help you—
your, uh,Copy !req
596. your associate...Copy !req
597. Lorna Dane— goes by Polaris.Copy !req
598. What do you know about Lorna?Copy !req
599. You want to help her?
You can talk to me.Copy !req
600. You know about
her medical situation?Copy !req
601. What are you talking about?
What medical situation?Copy !req
602. You gonna help my family?Copy !req
603. What are you talking about?Copy !req
604. I want a meeting.Copy !req
605. Yes. Fine.Copy !req
606. I'll meet you—
just...Copy !req
607. tell me.Copy !req
608. She's pregnant.Copy !req
609. Morning.Copy !req
610. Did you get any sleep?Copy !req
611. Some. But I think you
might be a mutant, too,Copy !req
612. with some sort of
snoring ability.Copy !req
613. This meeting, later,Copy !req
614. with the person,Copy !req
615. you... you think
it might work?Copy !req
616. Maybe.Copy !req
617. We don't have many options.Copy !req
618. I know you're doing
the best you can.Copy !req
619. I'll take one
option over none.Copy !req
620. Did you know it
was like this?Copy !req
621. For the mutants?Copy !req
622. I knew it wasn't easy.Copy !req
623. You remember how it was.Copy !req
624. The mutants
fighting each otherCopy !req
625. and innocent people
getting hurt,Copy !req
626. dying.
People wanted something done.Copy !req
627. Well, they got
what they wanted.Copy !req
628. We got to figure out somethingCopy !req
629. for breakfast...
What?Copy !req
630. We need to go, now.Copy !req
631. What is that thing?Copy !req
632. Sentinel Services drone.Copy !req
633. It's searching
the neighborhood.Copy !req
634. It can't see us
in here, can it?
It's the car, Cait.Copy !req
635. They know the car, they
know the license plate.Copy !req
636. Kids.Copy !req
637. Kids, get up.
Mom, what's-what's happening?Copy !req
638. We got to get out of here.
Get your stuff.Copy !req
639. Let's go.Copy !req
640. Gonna have to move quickly.Copy !req
641. Where are we going?
We got to stay out of sight.Copy !req
642. With that thing
in the air?
In a moment they're gonna findCopy !req
643. the car.
We have to get out of here.
Mom.Copy !req
644. Dad. The truck.Copy !req
645. Lauren, wait!Copy !req
646. Whoa.Copy !req
647. Dad. Dad, we got to go!Copy !req
648. What the hell?Copy !req
649. Sit.Copy !req
650. Just so we get this
out of the way—Copy !req
651. if this is a setup,
and cops are gonna beCopy !req
652. coming through that door...
It's not a setup.Copy !req
653. I'm alone.
No one's coming.Copy !req
654. Good.Copy !req
655. 'Cause things in here
get real hot, real fast.Copy !req
656. Tell me about Lorna.Copy !req
657. She's in a
detainment center.Copy !req
658. What detainment center?Copy !req
659. Until my fam...Copy !req
660. What detainment center?
Where?Copy !req
661. The main detention
facility in Garland.Copy !req
662. And the baby?Copy !req
663. All I know is, she's pregnant.Copy !req
664. Is it okay?Copy !req
665. Is it healthy?Copy !req
666. Please.
It's my kid.Copy !req
667. All I saw was the medical
exam they gave herCopy !req
668. when they brought her in.Copy !req
669. Those are all the questions
I'm answering for now.Copy !req
670. Any other information
is yours,Copy !req
671. but only if my
family is safe.Copy !req
672. Bring everyone
to this location tonight.Copy !req
673. How much is this gonna cost?Copy !req
674. I don't want your money.Copy !req
675. The deal is this:Copy !req
676. Your family goes tonight.Copy !req
677. You?Copy !req
678. You stay behind with me
until I get Lorna back.Copy !req
679. See?Copy !req
680. All fixed.Copy !req
681. Don't want
anyone else brought into here,Copy !req
682. so anything along
the river is fine.Copy !req
683. Here. Just...Copy !req
684. do what you can, okay?Copy !req
685. Something wrong?Copy !req
686. I need to talk to you.Copy !req
687. It's about Marcos.Copy !req
688. Uh, listen...Copy !req
689. Marcos is, uh...
he's an emotional guy.Copy !req
690. So, whatever he said,
don't take it personal.Copy !req
691. No, it's not about that.
It's...Copy !req
692. He got a phone call
from some guy.Copy !req
693. Something about
helping a family.Copy !req
694. He ran off
about an hour ago.Copy !req
695. Alone.Copy !req
696. What?
Why didn't you tell me?Copy !req
697. Because he
told me not to,Copy !req
698. and he didn't want
to get anyone else involvedCopy !req
699. because it was dangerous.Copy !req
700. But then I was thinking about
how I owe his girlfriend.Copy !req
701. And she'd be pissed if he died.Copy !req
702. Come on.Copy !req
703. Well... where...
where are we going?Copy !req
704. We don't even
know where he is.Copy !req
705. I found you.Copy !req
706. Trust me, I can find him.Copy !req
707. Where'd
you get this car?Copy !req
708. There's, like,
sticky stuff all over.Copy !req
709. Are you serious right now?Copy !req
710. What? There's, like,
juice or something.Copy !req
711. What do you want me to do?
I liked the truck better.Copy !req
712. The truck was stolen,
dumb-ass. Are you brain damaged?Copy !req
713. You like the car so much,
you sit on the sticky part!
Fine.Copy !req
714. Okay, can we not do this now?Copy !req
715. Please?Copy !req
716. We're here.Copy !req
717. This everyone?
Yeah, we're all here.Copy !req
718. I want to know
what happens now.Copy !req
719. We get everyone supplies—
food, water, blankets—Copy !req
720. then we head
down to the border.Copy !req
721. And you can drive us across?Copy !req
722. Policía America's
all over the roads;Copy !req
723. you might as well go straight
to jail. Now come on.Copy !req
724. We're not going anywhere
until I knowCopy !req
725. what's happening to my family.Copy !req
726. Look...Copy !req
727. we know people
down there with...Copy !req
728. skills.Copy !req
729. They track for mutants,
but we still got tricksCopy !req
730. they don't know. Mostly,
we get people under the wall.Copy !req
731. Sometimes over,
sometimes even through.Copy !req
732. And then, after that?Copy !req
733. We get you new names, new IDs.
There are churches,Copy !req
734. families that can help you...Copy !req
735. What? What is it?Copy !req
736. Does anyone know you're here?Copy !req
737. No, we didn't say anything.Copy !req
738. Did you tell someone
you were coming? Use a computer?Copy !req
739. The phone
that you called me on?
When I called you,Copy !req
740. I used a new SIM card.
There's no way...Copy !req
741. Looks like they
found a way.Copy !req
742. This is the Sentinel Services.Copy !req
743. Get on the ground.Copy !req
744. Put your hands
on your heads.Copy !req
745. If you try to flee or resist,Copy !req
746. we will use deadly force.Copy !req
747. Dad, what do we do?
There's nothing we can do.Copy !req
748. There must me something...
We can talk to them.
Talk?Copy !req
749. Yeah, no, we're
way past that.Copy !req
750. You have no idea
what they have in that car.Copy !req
751. I want to speak to an attorney.Copy !req
752. That is a bad idea.Copy !req
753. We will only negotiate
if one is provided.Copy !req
754. There will be no negotiation.Copy !req
755. Get your asses
on the ground now!Copy !req
756. We are Americans.
We have rights.Copy !req
757. You can discuss that with
a judge, Mr. Strucker. Right nowCopy !req
758. you need to think about
what's best for your family.Copy !req
759. Dad?Copy !req
760. Come on!Copy !req
761. Go! Go, now!
Go! Go! Go!Copy !req
762. Damn it.Copy !req
763. Deploy the weapon, sir?Copy !req
764. They're coming! That way!
Go! To the hallway!Copy !req
765. Get up!
Go!Copy !req
766. What?Copy !req
767. Go. Go! Go!Copy !req
768. Watch out.Copy !req
769. Remote unit to targeting.Copy !req
770. This way.Copy !req
771. They're on the other side.Copy !req
772. They're on the other side.
Here they come!Copy !req
773. Clarice, you got to get us
out of here.Copy !req
774. What do you mean?
You got yourself
out of the prison,Copy !req
775. you can get us out of here!
No, it's different.
I can't see where I'm going.Copy !req
776. It's too dangerous.
All right, well, we will dieCopy !req
777. if we stay here,
so can you please just do it?Copy !req
778. They're getting through!Copy !req
779. I can't do it.Copy !req
780. Yes, you can!
I can't!Copy !req
781. What is that?Copy !req
782. Go! Hurry!Copy !req
783. Come on! It's safe!Copy !req
784. Go! Go! Go!Copy !req
785. Andy...Copy !req
786. Andy!Copy !req
787. Come on!Copy !req
788. Dad!
No!Copy !req
789. Dad!
No, please...Copy !req
790. I can't hold it!Copy !req
791. No!
Get out of there!Copy !req
792. Dad!Copy !req
793. No...Copy !req
794. Dad!
No!Copy !req
795. No. No.Copy !req
796. We are farmers,Copy !req
797. steelworkers...Copy !req
798. families...Copy !req
799. patriots.Copy !req
800. We are Americans.Copy !req
801. If you're one of us,
you are the future.Copy !req
802. If you encounter one of them,Copy !req
803. report any suspicious activity
to Sentinel Services.Copy !req
804. Help us keep our country safe.Copy !req
805. The government says
it's not illegal
to be a mutant,Copy !req
806. but use your abilities
in any way, and they'll find
an excuse to come after you.Copy !req
807. That's why they want
to keep track of us.Copy !req
808. And every time one of us
gets tested,Copy !req
809. they get one step closer
to monitoring us all.Copy !req
810. If you're a mutant in trouble,
we will find you.Copy !req
811. We can help.Copy !req
812. You can't run from destiny
on The Gifted.Copy !req
813. Now here are a few more shows
to check out from Fox.Copy !req
814. This is our story.Copy !req
