2. I'm going downstairs to make sure

3. Geoffrey remembered to put out cookies for Santa.

4. Don't eat too many, o.K., daddy?

5. Ho ho ho.

6. Daddy, can you tell me about the four middle names?

7. Nicky, you've heard that story a hundred times.

8. I know it, but I forget a lot of it.

9. Oh, alright, all right.

10. Let me see.

11. Most children have one middle name,

12. but you, my boy,

13. have four,

14. and it all began

15. the night before you were christened.

16. A lot of things were different back then.

17. Say, Uncle Phil, can I borrow 50 bucks?

18. Of course, some things never change.

19. yes, it was Christmas Eve, 1993,

20. everyone's favorite time of year.

21. You know,

22. these popcorn strings look a little skimpy,

23. but, uh, you wouldn't know nothin' about that,

24. would you, Uncle Phil?

25. I don't know what you're talking about.

26. And I suppose this is the one-armed man

27. the fugitive was looking for, huh?

28. hey, alright.

29. Whoo! Thank you.

30. Yeah.

31. Hey, little fella,

32. Santa let you out of the workshop early?

33. You like my outfit?

34. I had jingle bells sewn into my cuffs.

35. Ah. Geoffrey, I need my Santa suit pressed.

36. We can't have Nicky thinking

37. kriss kringle doesn't keep a sharp crease, huh?

38. But it's alright for him to think

39. Santa's only 3-feet tall.

40. Hey, hil, ash.

41. What happened to your coat?

42. I was mauled in the saks shoe department.

43. You need a license to drive, but they'll let anyone shop.

44. Boyz ii men were there,

45. and they autographed my cd.

46. I got Nicky the cutest present for his christening.

47. You may have gotten him the cutest,

48. I got him the best.

49. Don't be so sure about that, bucko.

50. Children, there's no point in competing

51. over who got Nicky the best present.

52. That's right, because you'll all lose to me.

53. Oh, yeah?

54. Well, wait right here.

55. Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!

56. I thought we was waiting till the christening,

57. but we having a gift-off now? That's cool.

58. Hey, g,

59. wait till you see

60. the gift that I got Nicky

61. for his christening.

62. oh!

63. So that's where the cereal box tops went.

64. This is a great present, man.

65. Oh, no.

66. The 18-karat gold rattle from your Uncle

67. is a great present.

68. The handwoven silk sleeper suit from miss hilary

69. is a great present.

70. That...

71. Is a hand puppet.

72. I can count on Carlton to make me look good.

73. Shoot, he's so cheap, he probably made Nicky

74. a vest out of the lint from his pocket.

75. Hey, is Nicky going to love this or what?

76. Will!

77. I wasn't doing nothin'.

78. You're not going to believe this.

79. Watch what happens when I play boyz ii men.

80. Oh, man, me and this kid are definitely blood.

81. Let me tell you what used to knock me from my highchair.

82. that was a jam, man.

83. Greetings, y'all.

84. Jazz.

85. Brought little Ricky his christening gift.

86. Man, a cheap christening gift.

87. Mind if I take a peek?

88. Go ahead. Get your peek going.

89. Jazz, this is a rolex.

90. Santa left it in the men's room.

91. So, what'd you get him?

92. Oh, I'm—

93. shoot. Man.

94. I got—I got him a real good gift.

95. I—I got him them.

96. Them? You got him a boyz ii men cd?

97. No, no. Come here, come here.

98. I got him boyz ii men.

99. I used to hang with them in Philly.

100. They'll sing at the christening.

101. Will, that's wonderful!

102. Oh!

103. What's wonderful?

104. Will got boyz ii men

105. to sing at Nicky's christening.

106. I'm telling reverend Boyd.

107. Whoa, hey, woman, look—

108. I've got to call all my friends!

109. Hey! Hey!

110. Y-jus— come back here!

111. Well, this is a christening

112. your family won't forget.

113. Come back here!

114. As usual, will had put his foot in his mouth,

115. but lucky for him,

116. boyz ii men were in town recording a radio special.

117. Will managed to sneak in.

118. that should be cool, man.

119. Whoo!

120. Whoo!

121. Aw, man!

122. Let it snow, man!

123. Let it—

124. this is a dirty studio. Y'all got bugs.

125. It's a closed session. Step.

126. Hey, yo, hold up. Listen.

127. How was that, man?

128. Hey, yo! I'm from Philly, man! West Philly! Ho!

129. Yo!

130. You know, cheesesteaks, liberty bell!

131. West Philly, ho!

132. Get rid of him.

133. I used to play ball with you, man!

134. You do look familiar.

135. I do?

136. I mean, I do.

137. Get off me!

138. He said I looked familiar!

139. But it ain't from basketball.

140. You know neecie Taylor, don't you?

141. I guess I do look familiar, huh?

142. Yeah, man, I used to date neecie.

143. I stole her from this ol' four-eyed, big-lipped dude.

144. He used to be singing these stupid songs,

145. him and his three— yeah.

146. Sisters. It was him and three girls. Yeah.

147. I loved that girl.

148. I cried myself to sleep about that.

149. I'm from Pittsburgh, man. Go steelers!

150. Steal her— that's what you did. Charlie, you see his face?

151. We don't want to see him around again.

152. Do you guys validate? My car—

153. so, in less than five minutes,

154. cousin will had totally alienated

155. everyone in the group.

156. Meanwhile, back at the house—

157. daddy, I hate to interrupt,

158. but I have to go potty.

159. O.K. Be sure you're back here

160. in 21/2 minutes.

161. Go on.

162. Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm.

163. Remember to put the seat down?

164. Do you?

165. Good point.

166. Anyway, where was I?

167. Oh, yeah.

168. Cousin will had gotten himself

169. into quite a fix,

170. so he did what most men do

171. when they get their backs against the wall—

172. he begged.

173. Neecie...

174. Neecie, neecie, baby,

175. neecie, baby, look,

176. could you just talk to Nate, please?

177. No?

178. Where's your Christmas spirit?

179. You're a nun, for God's sakes!

180. Geoffrey, aunt vy just arrived,

181. and she needs you to take her suitcase upstairs.

182. Then put out another plate of cookies,

183. make some fresh eggnog, and replace that broken string of lights on the tree.

184. And wipe that frown off your face.

185. It's Christmas.

186. You know, I am really getting sick and tired

187. of Geoffrey's attitude.

188. Well, you have to imagine how he feels

189. this time of year.

190. Wash this, carry that, cook this.

191. Ashley, what's your point?

192. We work him too hard this time of year.

193. We should get him a present.

194. What am I going to get him,

195. a mop?

196. Let me take your coat.

197. Thank you.

198. Oh, vy, you look wonderful.

199. What, did you lose some weight?

200. Well, yes, I did.

201. And I guess you found it.

202. O.K.

203. Now I remember where will gets it from.

204. Whoa.

205. How come ain't nobody tell me

206. Halle Berry was going to be coming here?

207. Oh. That's my mommy.

208. Hi, baby.

209. Oh, alright, Geoffrey.

210. I'll get it.

211. Your generosity knows no bounds, sir.

212. Oh, mom,

213. this feels so good to have you here.

214. Yes.

215. Listen, I got a little problem.

216. Oh, what's the matter, baby?

217. Well, it's about Nicky's christening.

218. Don't you say another word.

219. Your aunt Vivian told me what you're doing for the christening,

220. and when that group sings,

221. I'm going to turn to the congregation

222. and tell them that gift is from my boy.

223. Oh, damn.

224. Come on, will.

225. Turn that frown upside down.

226. Santa's going to be here soon,

227. and no one can resist jolly old Saint Nick.

228. You know what?

229. You're right, Carlton.

230. You're a genius, man.

231. The house looks beautiful.

232. Merry Christmas, aunt Helen.

233. Merry Christmas, baby.

234. Let me take this.

235. It's so good to be with the family

236. for the holiday season.

237. Now, where's my big sister vy?

238. Diva!

239. Diva! Diva!

240. Hey.

241. Helen...

242. It is so good to see you.

243. Yes.

244. Likewise.

245. I think I'll go change.

246. Vy, honey,

247. it's so good to see you.

248. Excuse me just a minute.

249. Helen, let me talk to you just a minute.

250. Helen, what are you wearing to the christening?

251. If I'm going to be godmother, I don't want to walk in church

252. looking like the full house twins.

253. Honey, I think your wig is on too tight.

254. I'm going to be Nicky's godmother.

255. Vivian asked me herself.

256. Wait a minute. She asked me, too.

257. I guess she would've asked Janice

258. if she wasn't out of the country.

259. Vivian! Vivian!

260. Sweetheart, you're not leaving me with these two

261. after they started sharpening their claws.

262. Did someone say claus?

263. 'Cause that's just what this family needs right now.

264. When you hear this story,

265. you are going to laugh.

266. Um, I accidentally asked both of you to be the godmother.

267. Isn't this funny?

268. Vivian, that's not funny.

269. That is ridiculous.

270. Hey, hey,

271. ladies!

272. It's Christmas.

273. Let's not argue.

274. My Santa suit!

275. It's been stolen!

276. They stole it.

277. It wasn't exactly stolen.

278. More like borrowed.

279. Ho, ho, ho!

280. Merry Christmas!

281. Hey, Santa.

282. Mind the booth.

283. Got to tinkle.

284. What a lucky break.

285. I can't believe the schedule we made for ourselves.

286. I never thought I'd be working on Christmas Eve.

287. Right, partner.

288. Ho, ho, ho!

289. Merry Christmas!

290. I recently received a letter

291. up at the north pole

292. from a young man whose only Christmas wish

293. was to have you sing

294. at his cousin's christening tonight.

295. Yo, is this for real?

296. As real as I am.

297. Now, listen,

298. please find it in your hearts

299. to grant his wish.

300. There going to be a reception?

301. So much food you'll think a supermarket blew up.

302. Beats room service Turkey.

303. For real.

304. Let's go for it.

305. Merry Christmas.

306. Alright.

307. Be at the first baptist church of bel-air

308. at 5:00.

309. Hey, thanks a lot, fellas.

310. Yo, that's that fool that stole neecie.

311. Merry Christmas!

312. Hats, t-shirts, buttons,

313. boyz ii men paraphernalia!

314. Get your hats, t-shirts, buttons!

315. Hi, Vivian, Philip.

316. Welcome.

317. Reverend Boyd, these are my sisters Helen and vy.

318. Good evening.

319. Nice turnout.

320. One too many, if you ask me.

321. Hello.

322. Are you part of the family?

323. Yes.

324. I'm the part of the family

325. who does the cleaning, cooking, and mending.

326. I guess will's coming with boyz ii men.

327. Do you think I should report

328. my missing Santa suit to the police?

329. I'm sitting next to Vivian.

330. I don't want my godson smelling that cheap perfume.

331. That's it.

332. I have had it.

333. You want to know who Nicky's godmother's going to be?

334. Yes.

335. Go on. Tell her, Vivian.

336. Geoffrey.

337. Geoffrey? Geoffrey?

338. Somebody spill something?

339. Geoffrey, nobody loves Nicky

340. more than you do.

341. Would you do us the honor

342. of being Nicky's godfather?

343. Oh, madam, I don't know what to say.

344. This is the best Christmas gift

345. I could ever get.

346. Oh, thank you, sir.

347. Hey.

348. How's everybody doing?

349. Master William,

350. I'm Nicky's godfather.

351. Yeah, congratulations.

352. Are boyz ii men here?

353. Um...

354. Can I have everybody's attention, please?

355. Um...

356. I wanted to do something...

357. Special for my cousin Nicky's christening.

358. You know,

359. everybody was getting him

360. all these big expensive gifts

361. and everything,

362. so I said I could deliver

363. boyz ii men.

364. Look, the truth is—

365. merry Christmas, will.

366. And because it was such a special honor

367. to have them sing at your christening,

368. we took all four of their names,

369. and we christened you

370. Nicholas Michael Shawn Nathan juanye banks.

371. That's a good story, daddy.

372. Can I see my godfather now?

373. Of course.

374. Geoffrey.

375. You rang, sir?

376. Nicky wanted to see you.

377. Oh, yes.

378. I love you, godfather.

379. I love you, too, godson.

380. Now get me some hot chocolate.

381. Ohh.
