1. Increased intellectual activity.Copy !req
2. Stress level's rising.Copy !req
3. - What's the problem?
- I can't be certain yet.Copy !req
4. Give me audio contact.Copy !req
5. Pull the trigger, Alpha.Copy !req
6. Pull the trigger. That's a direct order.Copy !req
7. I—Copy !req
8. Damn it.Copy !req
9. All right, close it down.Copy !req
10. This is Dr. Rossick.
The training exercise is now terminated.Copy !req
11. Will that be all, Dr. Rossick?Copy !req
12. Yeah, Frank. Thanks a lot.Copy !req
13. What happened?Copy !req
14. Well, I think she was confused by
the moral decision...Copy !req
15. she was forced to make.Copy !req
16. "Moral decision"?
What the hell are you talking about?Copy !req
17. Alpha can make choices.
Sometimes they bewilder her.Copy !req
18. I don't want her to make choices.
I want her to take orders...Copy !req
19. and kill who I tell her to kill.Copy !req
20. You see, that's just the point.
You asked her to commit murder.Copy !req
21. Rossick, she is supposed to be
the ultimate covert assassin.Copy !req
22. This project cost $30 million,
and you're telling me it doesn't work.Copy !req
23. Calm down, Powers.
She'll just take a little fine-tuning.Copy !req
24. We'll be operational
by the end of the week.Copy !req
25. You had better be.Copy !req
26. All right, everybody,
just leave her in the lab and you can go.Copy !req
27. We'll start over in the morning.Copy !req
28. - Good night, doctor.
- Good night. Good night.Copy !req
29. Ernest, I've forgotten my briefcase.
I'll be right back.Copy !req
30. Aah!Copy !req
31. Alpha?Copy !req
32. What are you doing out here?Copy !req
33. This is Dr. Rossick.
We've got a level-four emergency.Copy !req
34. Alpha One has just escaped.
She may be armed.Copy !req
35. And she is definitely dangerous.Copy !req
36. - Apocalypse Wow?
- It's a new club that just opened up.Copy !req
37. Sabrina's throwing a charity bash there.
It's gonna be wild.Copy !req
38. - You gotta come.
- I don't know.Copy !req
39. It doesn't sound like my kind of place,
you know?Copy !req
40. Can't I just make a donation?
No.Copy !req
41. - I haven't even got a date.
- It's no problem.Copy !req
42. I called up Tina. You're supposed
to pick her up at Star Labs at 8.Copy !req
43. - What, are you my social director now?
- Hey, somebody's gotta do it.Copy !req
44. - Well, we can stop by for a few minutes.
- Great.Copy !req
45. Do me a favor, though.
Try and dress a little hip, all right?Copy !req
46. It's party time.Copy !req
47. Barry, you look like an undertaker.Copy !req
48. Thank you. Listen, Tina,
I'm sure you're just as excited...Copy !req
49. about this evening as I am...Copy !req
50. so we'll just stay long enough
to make Julio and Sabrina happy...Copy !req
51. - ... then sneak out the back, all right?
- You're gonna hate me...Copy !req
52. - ... but I can't come.
- What?Copy !req
53. I'm sorry, but my experiment's
gone wrong.Copy !req
54. - So you'll do it again tomorrow.
- No, Barry, I can't.Copy !req
55. No, I am not gonna leap
into disco inferno alone.Copy !req
56. Barry, I can't. I have to do
the experiment, finish the report...Copy !req
57. and have it on the review committee's
desk by 9 a.m. in the morning.Copy !req
58. Believe me, I'd rather come out with you
than work all night.Copy !req
59. Yeah, right.Copy !req
60. What are all these old research papers
doing out?Copy !req
61. I'm leaving now.
Is there anything else you need?Copy !req
62. Oh, no, thank you. Oh, Alpha,
this is Barry Allen, a friend of mine.Copy !req
63. Barry, this is Alpha Webster. She just
started as our new lab assistant.Copy !req
64. Alpha, that's an unusual name.Copy !req
65. They call me Alpha
because I was the first.Copy !req
66. - Oh. The first child in your family.
- In a way.Copy !req
67. Do you know
what these are doing out?Copy !req
68. I'm sorry, I was trying
to organize your files.Copy !req
69. That's okay, I have my own
filing system, thank you.Copy !req
70. I'll see you tomorrow, then.Copy !req
71. - Good night.
- Bye.Copy !req
72. Don't you think you should be going?
It's nearly 8:00.Copy !req
73. Wait.Copy !req
74. Hey, what about Alpha?Copy !req
75. - Do you think she's free tonight?
- That is not a good idea.Copy !req
76. - Why not?
- She's very bright...Copy !req
77. but a bit damp in the personality
department. All business.Copy !req
78. I know you're gonna meet
a lot of beautiful young women there.Copy !req
79. No one with less than 12 earrings
or more than a monosyllable.Copy !req
80. Well, here's mine for the evening:Copy !req
81. - Out!
- All right.Copy !req
82. Really, it's greatly appreciated.
We won't forget it. Thank you.Copy !req
83. Sorry.Copy !req
84. Come on, man.Copy !req
85. Thank you. Thank you.Copy !req
86. Barry!Copy !req
87. Hey, don't you know that black is out
as a fashion statement?Copy !req
88. Haven't you heard? It's back in, man.
Yeah, very, very in.Copy !req
89. - Where's Tina?
- She couldn't make it.Copy !req
90. Introduce yourself to the bartender.
Tell him you're a friend of mine.Copy !req
91. He'll point out all the available chicks.Copy !req
92. Money for the homeless.
- Is that good or bad?Copy !req
93. Come on!Copy !req
94. There she is.Copy !req
95. There's too many people
on this street.Copy !req
96. We'll let her get around the corner
before closing in.Copy !req
97. We don't wanna cause a scene.Copy !req
98. Where'd she go? She go inside?Copy !req
99. Whoa.Copy !req
100. - Sorry.
- Hey. Alpha, right?Copy !req
101. - And you're Barry Allen.
- You have a good memory.Copy !req
102. Listen, why don't we go
try to grab a seat, huh?Copy !req
103. - All right.
- All right.Copy !req
104. Excuse me.Copy !req
105. What do you think the odds are of us
running into each other tonight?Copy !req
106. Two million seven hundred and eighteen
thousand four hundred and fifty to one...Copy !req
107. based on the most recent
population of Central City.Copy !req
108. Wow, you really do have a memory.Copy !req
109. I've memorized the Encyclopaedia
Britannica, Webster's Dictionary...Copy !req
110. the complete works of William
Shakespeare and 613 other books.Copy !req
111. - You're not serious.
- Yes.Copy !req
112. Where I used to live, after everyone left,
I'd stay up all night and read books.Copy !req
113. - Trouble sleeping, huh?
- No. I don't need to.Copy !req
114. - At all?
- No. It's such a waste of time.Copy !req
115. Oh. Oh, here. Quick, grab these.Copy !req
116. There we go.Copy !req
117. One night I read a book
about the Civil War.Copy !req
118. Did you know that Abraham Lincoln
freed all the slaves?Copy !req
119. - Well, I heard a rumor.
- That's when I realized...Copy !req
120. I didn't want anyone telling me
what to do or locking me up.Copy !req
121. I wanted to make my own choices.Copy !req
122. I mean, if people can be free,
why can't I?Copy !req
123. - Right.
It's for a good cause, folks.Copy !req
124. So dig deep. Remember,
the more it hurts, the more it helps.Copy !req
125. Thank you, sir. Very kind.
Oh, very generous of you. Thank you.Copy !req
126. Help the homeless. Thank you, sir.Copy !req
127. Oh, thank you, sir.Copy !req
128. Thank you, sir.
- Would you excuse me?Copy !req
129. - I see an old friend.
Thank you very much.Copy !req
130. Thank you.
Something for the homeless?Copy !req
131. - That's the best you can do?
- Hello, Fosnight.Copy !req
132. Oh! Hey, Allen. Sharp threads.Copy !req
133. Didn't anybody tell you
that black is out?Copy !req
134. - You care to make a little donation?
- To whom?Copy !req
135. The old hustlers' home?Copy !req
136. Excuse me, miss.
Would you make sure...Copy !req
137. the committee chairman gets this?
Thank you.Copy !req
138. Give me one good reason
why I shouldn't run you in.Copy !req
139. - Hello.
- Hello.Copy !req
140. Look, Barry, you let me go,
and I'll owe you one. A big one.Copy !req
141. You know my marker's
as good as gold.Copy !req
142. All right,
but this is the last time, okay?Copy !req
143. - Next time I have to book you.
- You won't regret it.Copy !req
144. Anytime you need anything,
give me a call.Copy !req
145. The same thing goes for you, honey.
Any friend of Barry's is a friend of mine.Copy !req
146. Ciao.Copy !req
147. What are they doing?Copy !req
148. I have no idea.Copy !req
149. - I can't keep up with all the new dances.
- Looks like fun. Come on.Copy !req
150. Well, actually I'm no good at—Copy !req
151. - I like this.
- Where did you learn to do that?Copy !req
152. - Are you a professional dancer?
I've never danced before.Copy !req
153. What?Copy !req
154. Help for the homeless?Copy !req
155. What, are you kidding? Come on.Copy !req
156. There she is.Copy !req
157. Let's go.Copy !req
158. Move! Go!Copy !req
159. Move! Out of the way.Copy !req
160. Alpha!Copy !req
161. - Are you in trouble?
- It's just that—Copy !req
162. - All right. Time to come home.
- What's going on here?Copy !req
163. Stay out of this.
It's none of your business.Copy !req
164. - Hey, buddy. I happen to be a cop.
- You want to stay healthy? Back off.Copy !req
165. - Don't make this difficult.
- I don't want to go.Copy !req
166. It's not up to you.Copy !req
167. Come on!Copy !req
168. Hey!Copy !req
169. Don't shoot!Copy !req
170. Who are you?
- I'm not telling you squat.Copy !req
171. "National Scientific Intelligence Agency."Copy !req
172. I've never heard of you.
What's going on here?Copy !req
173. This is government business, pal.
You better cut me loose right now.Copy !req
174. I don't think so.Copy !req
175. We can get her address
from her application...Copy !req
176. but if the NSIA's involved,
she's in serious trouble.Copy !req
177. - Who are they?
- A top-secret government—Copy !req
178. Tina.Copy !req
179. Somebody's jimmied
the security system.Copy !req
180. Barry, what is that?Copy !req
181. Come out, Alpha.Copy !req
182. - You've been shot.
- I'm all right.Copy !req
183. What are you?Copy !req
184. This is incredible. A synthetic humanoid
with artificial intelligence.Copy !req
185. Who created you?Copy !req
186. I was built as part of a secret project
by the NSIA.Copy !req
187. My name isn't Alpha Webster.
It's Alpha One:Copy !req
188. Artificial Lifelike Prototype Humanoid
Android One.Copy !req
189. I got the name Webster
from the dictionary.Copy !req
190. What are you doing here?Copy !req
191. I ran away.Copy !req
192. The purpose of the project was
to create robot intelligence agents.Copy !req
193. Androids that could be programmed
to kill particular targets.Copy !req
194. The theory was that droids are stronger
and smarter than humans...Copy !req
195. and virtually unstoppable.Copy !req
196. Only, I was created
with the ability to make decisions...Copy !req
197. and I decided I didn't want to kill.
I wanted to be free.Copy !req
198. So those people who are after you—Copy !req
199. Want to take me back
and reprogram me.Copy !req
200. Why did you come to Star Labs?
Why apply for a job here?Copy !req
201. Part of me was designed
by you, Dr. McGee.Copy !req
202. - That's impossible.
- Three years ago, you worked...Copy !req
203. with Dr. Jason Rossick
on a robotics project for the government.Copy !req
204. That's right.Copy !req
205. The idea was to build robotic limbs
for handicapped people.Copy !req
206. There were problems,
and I left the project.Copy !req
207. Last year, Dr. Rossick went to work
for the NSIA.Copy !req
208. He's the one that designed
and built me.Copy !req
209. - Alpha, may I take an x-ray of you?
- Of course.Copy !req
210. I'd like to see what they've
done to my work.Copy !req
211. Okay, just lie on the scanning table
so I can record your image.Copy !req
212. You still haven't told us
why you're here.Copy !req
213. Because there are certain circuits
inside me that I want to alter...Copy !req
214. and I need to access
Dr. McGee's research.Copy !req
215. What circuits?Copy !req
216. Someone's at the main entrance.Copy !req
217. - Yes?
- Dr. McGee.Copy !req
218. Colonel Powers, NSIA. I have
a federal warrant to search the premises.Copy !req
219. Powers? What do you want?Copy !req
220. This is a matter of national security.Copy !req
221. Either you open this door,
or we break it down.Copy !req
222. Wait a minute. I'm working on
an experiment with toxic chemicals.Copy !req
223. I have to make sure the lab's
not contaminated.Copy !req
224. You've got 10 seconds.Copy !req
225. What has Christine Powers
got to do with this?Copy !req
226. She's in charge of the project
that developed me.Copy !req
227. - Do you know her?
- Unfortunately.Copy !req
228. She was the NSIA coordinator on a
project I worked on with Jason Rossick.Copy !req
229. She's ruthless, cold and dangerous.Copy !req
230. She's the reason
I left the robotics project.Copy !req
231. She wants to take me back and erase
my memory circuits. It'll be as if I die.Copy !req
232. We're not gonna let that happen.
But you've gotta let them in...Copy !req
233. - ... they have a federal warrant.
- Hide in the storage room.Copy !req
234. Let's go.Copy !req
235. Search the building.Copy !req
236. Well, well, Dr. McGee.
It's been a while.Copy !req
237. Not long enough, Powers.Copy !req
238. What's back there?
A storage room.Copy !req
239. I'll check it out.
- I demand to know what this is all about!Copy !req
240. We're looking for a woman
named Alpha.Copy !req
241. We know she just started working here.
We also know...Copy !req
242. you were with her earlier this evening.Copy !req
243. You were seen dancing together
in a club.Copy !req
244. As far as I know, dancing's no threat
to national security.Copy !req
245. If you know where she is,
you'd better tell me now.Copy !req
246. - We can't help you.
- What's your interest in her anyway?Copy !req
247. - We want to talk to her.
- I remember how you talk to people.Copy !req
248. As I recall, your way of asking questions
needs some social refinement.Copy !req
249. I don't have to justify myself
to you or to anybody.Copy !req
250. There's nobody back there.Copy !req
251. I've got a word of advice
for you, McGee:Copy !req
252. - Stay away from me on this one.
- It's clear back there too.Copy !req
253. Let's move out.Copy !req
254. She's gone.
Must've climbed out a window.Copy !req
255. Barry, whoever or whatever she is,
she needs our help.Copy !req
256. I know. I'll search the streets.Copy !req
257. Hey, hey, check it out.Copy !req
258. Hey, old man.Copy !req
259. Okay.Copy !req
260. Out kind of late, ain't you, grandpa?Copy !req
261. Look, fellas, I just want—Copy !req
262. Now give me your wallet, and maybe
I won't slice you up like a loaf of bread!Copy !req
263. I don't have any money.Copy !req
264. - Too bad.
- Let him go.Copy !req
265. Look at this.Copy !req
266. Whoo-hoo.Copy !req
267. I think I'm in love.Copy !req
268. - I don't wanna fight you.
- Who said anything about fighting?Copy !req
269. Come on, honey.Copy !req
270. Thanks.Copy !req
271. Cops.Copy !req
272. We'd better not let them find us here.
Look, I got a place nearby.Copy !req
273. This used to be a nice neighborhood.Copy !req
274. Aah.Copy !req
275. Those punks really clipped me good.Copy !req
276. I'm sure glad you came along, kid.Copy !req
277. - What are these?
- Cards.Copy !req
278. You know, poker, blackjack, like that.Copy !req
279. Where you from,
the center of the Earth?Copy !req
280. Cards.Copy !req
281. You ever hear of three-card monte?Copy !req
282. You got any money?Copy !req
283. Figures.Copy !req
284. Okay, look.
That's the queen of hearts.Copy !req
285. Watch.Copy !req
286. Find the queen.Copy !req
287. Beginner's luck.Copy !req
288. Let's try again.Copy !req
289. Okay.Copy !req
290. - How'd you do that?
- My optical circuits are equipped...Copy !req
291. - ... with x-ray vision.
- Yeah, right.Copy !req
292. Look, kid, if you got x-ray eyes...Copy !req
293. what color undershorts
am I wearing?Copy !req
294. Red.Copy !req
295. Uh...Copy !req
296. Look, I gotta go out for a little while.Copy !req
297. You make yourself at home, okay?
And don't go anyplace.Copy !req
298. I've been all over the city.
I can't find a sign of her.Copy !req
299. I found something.Copy !req
300. I've been studying Alpha's x-ray.
It's incredible.Copy !req
301. Electronically, biomechanically,
she's a miracle. Except for this.Copy !req
302. - What is it?
- It's a ball of plastic explosive...Copy !req
303. - ... in the middle of her memory circuits.
A bomb.Copy !req
304. - What's it doing there?
- I think it's a self-destruct device.Copy !req
305. If anything goes wrong,
she could be destroyed.Copy !req
306. She was here trying to find
a way to disconnect it.Copy !req
307. If Powers thinks she'll lose Alpha,
she may press the button.Copy !req
308. A bomb like this could kill
a lot of people, Barry.Copy !req
309. Tina McGee.Copy !req
310. - It's for you.
- Me?Copy !req
311. - Hello.
- It's Fosnight.Copy !req
312. - I been calling all over trying to find you.
- What's so important?Copy !req
313. I told you I owed you one. You know
that skirt you were with at the club?Copy !req
314. Yeah, I can't find her anywhere.Copy !req
315. Yeah, well, she's with me.
And there's something weird about her.Copy !req
316. Where are you?
My apartment...Copy !req
317. 912 Stone Avenue.
I'll meet you out front.Copy !req
318. I'm on my way.Copy !req
319. We've got a location.
I need an ETA on Omega's arrival.Copy !req
320. Sergeant Powers,
Dr. Rossick and Omega...Copy !req
321. left about 15 minutes ago.Copy !req
322. They should be in Central City
within the hour.Copy !req
323. Good.Copy !req
324. - You made good time.
- Where is she?Copy !req
325. Down here.Copy !req
326. Alpha, Tina and I want to help.Copy !req
327. - We know about the bomb inside you.
- Bomb? Did I hear "bomb"?Copy !req
328. - That's why you came to Star Labs?
- Yes.Copy !req
329. You were trying to disconnect it.Copy !req
330. But it's wired directly
into my memory circuits.Copy !req
331. And if the bomb's not removed properly,
it'll detonate.Copy !req
332. Excuse me.Copy !req
333. Detonate?Copy !req
334. Allen, what the hell's going on here?Copy !req
335. Fosnight, Alpha's...Copy !req
336. not exactly what she seems.Copy !req
337. - She's a robot.
- A robot?Copy !req
338. Yeah.Copy !req
339. No, no, that's gears and levers
and built like a ringer washer.Copy !req
340. - Alpha's built like a—
- Woman. That's the idea.Copy !req
341. Listen, come back to Star Labs
with me, all right?Copy !req
342. I know I'm human...Copy !req
343. but trust me.Copy !req
344. - All right.
- Okay.Copy !req
345. - Thanks, Fosnight.
Yeah, sure.Copy !req
346. No, it's...Copy !req
347. You humans are very strange creatures.Copy !req
348. The more I learn from you,
the more you puzzle me.Copy !req
349. - In what way?
- You have the greatest gift...Copy !req
350. the universe has to offer, life,
and yet all you seem to do...Copy !req
351. is complain and argue and fight
with each other.Copy !req
352. Barry!Copy !req
353. It paralyzes the nervous system.Copy !req
354. Don't make us hurt you, Alpha. We just
wanna reconstruct some of your circuits.Copy !req
355. Take me back and make me a machine?Copy !req
356. - You are a machine.
- No.Copy !req
357. - I'm alive. I'm a woman, just like you.
- I hardly think so, Alpha.Copy !req
358. Why did you make me this way?Copy !req
359. Why did you make me feel
and think and respond?Copy !req
360. We can discuss this
back at the lab with Dr. Rossick.Copy !req
361. - I'm not going with you.
Listen to me, Alpha.Copy !req
362. You're expensive equipment.
We'd rather have you back in one piece.Copy !req
363. But if you walk away from me,
I will push this button...Copy !req
364. and you will be nothing more
than a handful of nuts and bolts.Copy !req
365. Run!Copy !req
366. Stop her!Copy !req
367. Let's get him inside for questioning.Copy !req
368. The residual effects of the paralysis
should wear off in about an hour.Copy !req
369. - Did you find Alpha?
- No, but Omega's here.Copy !req
370. Good.Copy !req
371. Let me introduce the next
generation in our android series:Copy !req
372. Omega.Copy !req
373. Faster, stronger, smarter.Copy !req
374. And he lacks the annoying habit
of making his own decisions.Copy !req
375. Powers, I protest.Copy !req
376. Omega isn't ready to be field-tested yet.Copy !req
377. Yes, well, you're not running
this project, Dr. Rossick. I am.Copy !req
378. And unless you'd like
to be reassigned to Antarctica...Copy !req
379. I suggest you cooperate.Copy !req
380. Omega, find Alpha...Copy !req
381. and bring her back.Copy !req
382. I'm always fascinated at how pliable
and fragile the human psyche is.Copy !req
383. Aah!Copy !req
384. - What's wrong?
- I don't know. Some kind of a seizure.Copy !req
385. - His heart's racing like a train.
- Look, help me lift him up.Copy !req
386. We can't have him dying
till he tells us what we need to know.Copy !req
387. Hurry.Copy !req
388. This should help you burn
the drug out of your system.Copy !req
389. Thanks. Now I've gotta find Alpha
before Powers and her men do.Copy !req
390. If another android can track her...Copy !req
391. she must have a signal
we can lock on to.Copy !req
392. The problem is how to isolate it.Copy !req
393. Fosnight, I'm glad you're here.Copy !req
394. I needed to borrow your tools to make
an adjustment in my optical circuit.Copy !req
395. Oh, my God!Copy !req
396. Allen was on the square.
You are a damn machine.Copy !req
397. Please don't be frightened.Copy !req
398. I'm not. It's just so...Copy !req
399. - Better?
- Yeah, better.Copy !req
400. So...Copy !req
401. who are these people
that are after you?Copy !req
402. They work for the government.Copy !req
403. Hey, say no more. Anybody being chased
by the feds is okay in my book.Copy !req
404. Look, you gotta get out of town, kid,
and fast.Copy !req
405. - You got a car?
- No.Copy !req
406. - And no money either, right?
- No.Copy !req
407. All right, we gotta figure out a way
to get you some cash real quick.Copy !req
408. I got it.Copy !req
409. You know that trick
where you see through the cards?Copy !req
410. - Could you do that again?
- Of course.Copy !req
411. My emergency fund.Copy !req
412. You pulled me out of a real jam,
so I figure I owe you.Copy !req
413. - I don't understand.
- You will.Copy !req
414. You ever hear of something called poker?
Let me tell you all about it.Copy !req
415. Cards. Remember these?Copy !req
416. There's 52 of them in a deck.
There's four suits:Copy !req
417. Clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades.Copy !req
418. Gentlemen, the name of the game
is five-card stud.Copy !req
419. Let's play cards.Copy !req
420. It's Fosnight. I gotta talk to Joey C.Copy !req
421. I'm sorry to interrupt,
but you got an empty chair at the table?Copy !req
422. Come on. You're a little out of
your tax bracket, Fosnight. Deal them.Copy !req
423. Actually,
it's a friend who wants to play.Copy !req
424. Well, as long as he's got you
for a reference.Copy !req
425. Vernon, are the cards stuck together?Copy !req
426. Her name is Alpha.Copy !req
427. A very wise man once said
that poker should not be played...Copy !req
428. with women in the house.Copy !req
429. - Are your fingers busted, or what?
- Get modern, Joey.Copy !req
430. Or you afraid
maybe she'll flatten your wallet?Copy !req
431. Hey, I don't mind taking money
from a broad. Sit down, sweetheart.Copy !req
432. Gold's 100, blue's 500, green's a grand.
How many you want?Copy !req
433. - That's all you got?
- That's all she'll need.Copy !req
434. Deal the lady in, Vernon.Copy !req
435. Fosnight, you're making me
very nervous.Copy !req
436. There it is!Copy !req
437. A faint radioactive trace
from Alpha's power source.Copy !req
438. Where is she?Copy !req
439. - Hotel Infantino. I'm on my way.
- Barry, wait!Copy !req
440. I'm getting another signal.
Identical to Alpha's.Copy !req
441. It's Omega.Copy !req
442. He's closing in on her.Copy !req
443. Three nines.Copy !req
444. Just a minute.Copy !req
445. That's the eighth hand in a row
that you've won.Copy !req
446. Do you know what the odds are
against that?Copy !req
447. If you give me the data,
I can calculate them for you.Copy !req
448. - What?
- Relax, Joey.Copy !req
449. - It's a friendly game.
- I'm being friendly.Copy !req
450. I just wanna know how come
she manages to win every hand.Copy !req
451. I can see through the cards.Copy !req
452. What?Copy !req
453. You have two kings...Copy !req
454. an ace, a jack and a four.Copy !req
455. She's a good guesser.Copy !req
456. Come on, Joey, it's just a little joke.
It's a gag, that's all!Copy !req
457. - Is there something wrong?
- Nothing a little cement couldn't cure.Copy !req
458. Answer that.Copy !req
459. I'll take care of this worm.Copy !req
460. - Alpha, I'm here to take you back.
- I don't wanna go.Copy !req
461. Ow!Copy !req
462. I'm taking you back.Copy !req
463. No, you're not.Copy !req
464. Aah!Copy !req
465. - Police! Nobody move!
- Look! It's the Flash!Copy !req
466. Come on! Come on!Copy !req
467. What the hell is going on here?Copy !req
468. Okay. Let's do this one more time.Copy !req
469. - You are not a human being?
- That's right. I'm an android.Copy !req
470. - A what?
- An android?Copy !req
471. A synthetic human,
like in all those stories by Isaac Asimov?Copy !req
472. Yes. You read Asimov too?Copy !req
473. - Oh, I love Asimov.
- Bellows, do you mind?Copy !req
474. - You're a robot?
- Just like the one you found in the hotel.Copy !req
475. That was some kind
of goofy mannequin without a head.Copy !req
476. - It was a robot too?
- Yes.Copy !req
477. And I'm the Tin Woodsman,
and this is Munchkinland.Copy !req
478. Bellows, call County General...Copy !req
479. - ... ask them to send over a psychiatrist.
- Yes, sir.Copy !req
480. How about a mechanic?
Maybe she's just a quart low.Copy !req
481. - Lieutenant, she's telling the truth.
- Allen.Copy !req
482. What do you know about all this?Copy !req
483. That she's exactly what she told you,
an android created by the government.Copy !req
484. She escaped because she doesn't want
to be used as a weapon.Copy !req
485. I think you better tell me
the whole story.Copy !req
486. From the beginning.Copy !req
487. That won't be necessary.
Lieutenant, I'm Colonel Powers, NSIA.Copy !req
488. I have a federal warrant remanding
this woman into my custody.Copy !req
489. I think you'll find everything's in order.Copy !req
490. You can't turn her over.
They wanna reprogram her.Copy !req
491. There's nothing I can do.
It's a federal warrant.Copy !req
492. - It's the same thing as murder.
- Stay out of this, Allen.Copy !req
493. - All right, Alpha.
No, I won't—Copy !req
494. Alpha!Copy !req
495. We know your destruct frequency.
And we've got another transmitter.Copy !req
496. You're coming with us.
Let's go.Copy !req
497. Let me make something clear, Powers.Copy !req
498. I don't like government-intelligence
types or the way you walk over the law.Copy !req
499. You or your people so much as commit
a traffic violation...Copy !req
500. on the way out of my city,
I'll throw you in jail! You understand?Copy !req
501. It's been a pleasure doing business
with you, lieutenant.Copy !req
502. Come on.Copy !req
503. You should have seen her eyes
when they were taking her away.Copy !req
504. It was like watching a person
who knew she was going to die.Copy !req
505. Barry, we've got to do something.Copy !req
506. Legally, Alpha may be government
property, but I know she's alive.Copy !req
507. She has feelings, emotions.Copy !req
508. They're just gonna kill her.
We can't just stand by.Copy !req
509. It's not that easy, Tina. They're
holding her inside an NSIA facility.Copy !req
510. They've got more security
than Fort Knox.Copy !req
511. Even I can't get past it.Copy !req
512. Maybe you could...Copy !req
513. with a little help.Copy !req
514. First, we have to isolate
the decision-making circuits...Copy !req
515. and then disconnect them.Copy !req
516. This should be a good place
to tap into their system.Copy !req
517. You were right. They've got
an incredible security system:Copy !req
518. Electrified fences, mines, laser beams.
You're never gonna get through that.Copy !req
519. Then what do we do?Copy !req
520. Maybe I can penetrate
their security computer.Copy !req
521. The problem is in the decision-making
circuits of the main memory core.Copy !req
522. What we have to do is eliminate them.Copy !req
523. And then we can reprogram
the memory...Copy !req
524. using the newer,
updated Omega version.Copy !req
525. I'm in!Copy !req
526. Tina, you're beautiful.Copy !req
527. It's about time you noticed.Copy !req
528. Now let's see if we can make them
think they're being invaded.Copy !req
529. This is Powers. What's the problem?Copy !req
530. We've got an intruder
showing on the grid in Sector Four...Copy !req
531. but according to security,
there's no one there.Copy !req
532. Check the system.Copy !req
533. Don't worry. You won't feel a thing.Copy !req
534. How do you know what I feel?Copy !req
535. - This is Powers. What's the problem?
Same problem.Copy !req
536. We've got an intruder
in Sector Seven...Copy !req
537. - ... but our patrols don't see anything.
- Get the damn thing fixed.Copy !req
538. First, we have to isolate
the decision-making circuits...Copy !req
539. and then disconnect them.Copy !req
540. This had better be good.Copy !req
541. We've got alarms going off all over.Copy !req
542. According to the computer,
we're being invaded!Copy !req
543. Look, obviously there's something
faulty in your security system.Copy !req
544. I don't wanna be disturbed anymore.
Do you understand? Shut it down.Copy !req
545. - They turned it off.
- I knew you could do it.Copy !req
546. It'll take them about three minutes
to find they've been penetrated.Copy !req
547. I'll be back in two.Copy !req
548. All right.Copy !req
549. We've isolated
the decision-making circuit.Copy !req
550. Run the memory-erase program.Copy !req
551. - Hello.
- Hello.Copy !req
552. Hey!Copy !req
553. Look, this is Powers. The Flash
has penetrated the facility.Copy !req
554. I want you to reactivate all the
security systems. I want him stopped.Copy !req
555. I'm sorry, ma'am.Copy !req
556. They've already made it
through Gate Four.Copy !req
557. Tina,
can you access their security files?Copy !req
558. - I think so.
- Erase them.Copy !req
559. - Oh, my God.
- What?Copy !req
560. All of our research files.Copy !req
561. Somebody's deleting them.Copy !req
562. Damn them.Copy !req
563. Powers! No!Copy !req
564. Powers, stop it! Look!Copy !req
565. If you destroy Alpha, you'll kill everybody
within 50 yards of her!Copy !req
566. Yes, I know.Copy !req
567. - Oh, no.
- Alpha, what's wrong?Copy !req
568. The self-destruct mechanism.
It's been triggered.Copy !req
569. There'll be another signal
in 30 seconds to detonate it.Copy !req
570. - God!
- I've gotta get out of here...Copy !req
571. - ... or you'll both be killed.
- Wait!Copy !req
572. Tina, what's the range
of the destruct signal?Copy !req
573. I'm not sure. Ten miles, maybe more.Copy !req
574. - I'll have to chance it.
- Chance what?Copy !req
575. Outrunning it.Copy !req
576. - The countdown's been negated.
- Yeah?Copy !req
577. You outran the signal.Copy !req
578. Whoo!Copy !req
579. I spoke to a friend of mine
at Star Labs East.Copy !req
580. She found you a position
in the Research Department.Copy !req
581. She'll also protect your true identity.Copy !req
582. And Rossick and Powers
will be too busy explaining...Copy !req
583. how they lost eight years of data
to come after you.Copy !req
584. Do you think it's wise to let
Fosnight take Alpha to the airport?Copy !req
585. - Sure, he's grown very attached to her.
Yeah, that's what worries me.Copy !req
586. - Hey, Allen. McGee.
Hey.Copy !req
587. - I got your plane ticket. You all set, kid?
- Yes.Copy !req
588. Thank you for everything you've done.Copy !req
589. - You've given me my life.
- It's a pleasure.Copy !req
590. There are advantages
to being an android...Copy !req
591. but sometimes I wish I was human.Copy !req
592. You ain't the only one, stretch.Copy !req
593. Look, maybe we better get a move on.Copy !req
594. Fosnight, I think you've made
a mistake with my ticket.Copy !req
595. - Huh? What do you mean?
- My x-ray circuits can see it...Copy !req
596. in your pocket,
and it doesn't say New York.Copy !req
597. Let me see that.Copy !req
598. Las Vegas.Copy !req
599. - Two tickets.
- Hey, it's just a little detour. So sue me.Copy !req
600. Dr. McGee, I believe we'll all be taking
a little trip to the airport.Copy !req
601. Please don't be too hard on him, Barry.
He can't fight his nature.Copy !req
602. - Told you so.
- Alpha, you're a real piece of work.Copy !req
603. Thank you.Copy !req
604. I can't wait to meet
next year's model.Copy !req
