1. He is gone.Copy !req
2. Uncle Sam!Copy !req
3. Sam, the boat's gotta go.Copy !req
4. I'm doin' everything I can
to keep this business afloat.Copy !req
5. And every day I'm making $5,
and spending $10.Copy !req
6. That shield is a monument to a bygone era.Copy !req
7. A reminder of all the people
history just left out.Copy !req
8. If anything,
that shield should be destroyed.Copy !req
9. I heard what became of Sokovia.Copy !req
10. I don't suppose any of you
bothered visiting the memorial?Copy !req
11. Of course not.Copy !req
12. So you're telling me
that there was a black Super SoldierCopy !req
13. decades ago and nobody knew about it?Copy !req
14. You know what they did to me?Copy !req
15. They put my ass in jail for 30 years.Copy !req
16. Why'd you give up that shield?Copy !req
17. Can you accept
that I did what I thought was right?Copy !req
18. Karli Morgenthau,
you're under arrest.Copy !req
19. - This is what that was?
- No, wait...Copy !req
20. - Tricking me until help came?
- We've spoken enough.Copy !req
21. You Nazi.
- Why don't you... (GRUNTS)Copy !req
22. If you had the chance
to take the serum, would you?Copy !req
23. Hells, yeah.Copy !req
24. You wouldn't worry about it changing you?Copy !req
25. Power just makes a person
more of themselves, right?Copy !req
26. Hey, Lemar.Copy !req
27. Lemar. Lemar. Lemar.Copy !req
28. It wasn't me!Copy !req
29. It wasn't me!Copy !req
30. Wasn't me!Copy !req
31. (SOFTLY) You told me.Copy !req
32. You didn't want me to go in.Copy !req
33. - Why didn't I listen?
- You all right, man?Copy !req
34. This suit, it comes
with expectations, brother.Copy !req
35. (YELLS) Why?Copy !req
36. Look, John, I know you want this.
I get it.Copy !req
37. You consistently make the right decisions
in the heat of battle.Copy !req
38. Time to go to work.Copy !req
39. (GRUNTS) Time to go to work.Copy !req
40. Walker...Copy !req
41. You guys should see a medic,
you don't look so good.Copy !req
42. Stop, Walker.Copy !req
43. What?Copy !req
44. You saw what happened.
You know what I had to do.Copy !req
45. I killed him because I had to!
He killed Lemar!Copy !req
46. He didn't kill Lemar, John.Copy !req
47. Don't go down that road.
Believe me, it doesn't end well.Copy !req
48. I'm not like you.Copy !req
49. Listen, it was
the heat of the battle. Okay?Copy !req
50. If you explain what happened,
they may consider your record.Copy !req
51. We don't want anyone else to get hurt.Copy !req
52. John...Copy !req
53. You gotta give me the shield, man.Copy !req
54. Oh,Copy !req
55. so that's what this is.Copy !req
56. You almost got me.Copy !req
57. You made a mistake.Copy !req
58. You don't wanna do this.Copy !req
59. Yeah, we do.Copy !req
60. Why are you making me do this?Copy !req
61. (YELLING) Why are you making me do this?Copy !req
62. This isn't you, John.Copy !req
63. We could've been a team.Copy !req
64. I am Captain America!Copy !req
65. (SCREAMING) No!Copy !req
66. It's mine.Copy !req
67. It's over, John.Copy !req
68. It's mine.Copy !req
69. The GRC is conducting raids
to try and find Karli,Copy !req
70. but so far
they've only found her followers.Copy !req
71. They've searched this camp,Copy !req
72. and just like the last camp, nothing.Copy !req
73. She's gone. We'll never find her.Copy !req
74. Hey, you got your sleeve back.Copy !req
75. Are you off to take care of Zemo?Copy !req
76. All right,
good to know you survived.Copy !req
77. What's our next steps, Torres?Copy !req
78. Captain America
killing a foreign national in public,Copy !req
79. it's kinda like a big deal.Copy !req
80. Like international incident big.Copy !req
81. Folks, uh, higher up on the payroll
are all over it now. So, unfortunately...Copy !req
82. They're taking jurisdiction.Copy !req
83. Yeah.Copy !req
84. What happened to these?Copy !req
85. - So is there anything we can do?
- Not really.Copy !req
86. As you can see, they've cordoned off
the whole camp, and Karli's a ghost.Copy !req
87. After what went down,
she is laying extra low.Copy !req
88. Like, under-underground.Copy !req
89. And that's why it makes sense
for us to get involved.Copy !req
90. The longer we let her regroup,
the harder it's gonna be to find her.Copy !req
91. She's got people helping her
from all over the world, on all platforms.Copy !req
92. She's really, really good at this thing.Copy !req
93. Yeah.Copy !req
94. How'd these break?Copy !req
95. Anyway, all we can do now
is sit tight and just chill.Copy !req
96. Sometimes, there's nothing to do
until there's something to do.Copy !req
97. That's bizarrely wise.Copy !req
98. - Well, I'm a bizarrely wise man, Sam.
- Yeah, all right.Copy !req
99. - Thanks, Torres.
- For sure.Copy !req
100. Wait, yo, you forgot the wings.Copy !req
101. Keep 'em.Copy !req
102. John F. Walker,
it is the order of this councilCopy !req
103. that you are no longer to act
in any capacityCopy !req
104. as a representative of the United States
government or its military.Copy !req
105. You are hereby stripped of your title
and authority as Captain America,Copy !req
106. effective immediately.Copy !req
107. Senator, uh, permission to present
to the council testimonyCopy !req
108. as to the circumstances of the incident.Copy !req
109. Circumstances of the incident
have been considered.Copy !req
110. It's only because of your previous
exemplary service to this countryCopy !req
111. that I'm recommending
against a court-martial.Copy !req
112. (CLEARS THROAT) With all due respect,Copy !req
113. I don't think you understand
the gravity of the situation fully,Copy !req
114. thereby, have misunderstood
the circumstances...Copy !req
115. - This is not a negotiation.
- I understand that.Copy !req
116. - This is a mandate.
- I'm just asking to be heard.Copy !req
117. It is a mandate.Copy !req
118. I understand that! I understand that!Copy !req
119. I lived my life by your mandates!
I dedicated my life to your mandates!Copy !req
120. I only ever did what you asked of me,Copy !req
121. what you told me to be
and trained me to do, and I did it.Copy !req
122. And I did it well.Copy !req
123. You will be givenCopy !req
124. an other than honorable discharge
retroactive to the beginning of the month.Copy !req
125. You will hold no rank in retirement
and receive no benefits.Copy !req
126. You built me.Copy !req
127. Senator, I am Captain America.Copy !req
128. Not anymore.Copy !req
129. And if you continue
to demean and denigrateCopy !req
130. the priorities and dignity
of this council,Copy !req
131. you will spend the rest of your life
in the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks.Copy !req
132. Consider yourself
extremely fortunate, Mr. Walker,Copy !req
133. and return the shield to us
with expedience.Copy !req
134. They just do not know
what it takes to be Captain America,Copy !req
135. they just don't.Copy !req
136. - It's not like I'm just gonna disappear.
- Okay, focus.Copy !req
137. Take things one step at a time.
You start by visiting Lemar's parents.Copy !req
138. They need to see you.
And then, we can build...Copy !req
139. Well, these boots
are not made for walkin'.Copy !req
140. Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.Copy !req
141. Actually, it's
Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.Copy !req
142. I know it's hard,
but I don't like to repeat myself,Copy !req
143. so you can just call me Val.Copy !req
144. But don't call me Val,
just keep it in your head.Copy !req
145. I'm gonna...Copy !req
146. Look... (CLEARS THROAT)Copy !req
147. I would have killed the bastard too.Copy !req
148. Nobody in there is mad at you about that.Copy !req
149. I mean, you would've been
doin' 'em a favorCopy !req
150. if you'd taken out the whole lot.Copy !req
151. But these guys in ties, you know,
they got a whole thing to protect.Copy !req
152. Excuse me. Who are you?Copy !req
153. Anyway, you did the right thingCopy !req
154. taking the serum.Copy !req
155. Yeah, of course I know about that.
And I'll tell you something.Copy !req
156. It has made you
very, very valuable to certain people.Copy !req
157. I actually think
it was the second best choiceCopy !req
158. you've ever made in your life.Copy !req
159. Oh, you wanna know
what the first best choice was?Copy !req
160. Oh...Copy !req
161. Tied with marryingCopy !req
162. this fabulous firecracker
sitting right next to me.Copy !req
163. How's it going?Copy !req
164. Picking up the phone when I call you.Copy !req
165. Oh, by the way,
don't worry about the shield.Copy !req
166. I know you don't have it.Copy !req
167. (WHISPERING) Here's a little,
dirty state secret.Copy !req
168. It doesn't really belong
to the government.Copy !req
169. It's kind of a legal gray area.Copy !req
170. I'll be in touch.Copy !req
171. There's... There's nothing on it.Copy !req
172. It says here the GRC accused themCopy !req
173. of harboring and abetting
international fugitives,Copy !req
174. so they raided the place and shut it down.Copy !req
175. Mathias.Copy !req
176. Mama Donya.Copy !req
177. Nico.Copy !req
178. I've lost count of how many others.Copy !req
179. How many times
do we have to pay with our livesCopy !req
180. just to be citizens
of this goddamn planet!Copy !req
181. The movement is ready.Copy !req
182. They're not going to stop.Copy !req
183. Not unless we make them.Copy !req
184. It's time.Copy !req
185. I thought you'd be here sooner.Copy !req
186. Don't worry.Copy !req
187. I've decided I'm not going to kill you.Copy !req
188. Imagine my relief.Copy !req
189. The girl has been radicalized
beyond salvation.Copy !req
190. I warned Sam, but he didn't listen to me.Copy !req
191. He's as stubborn
as Steve Rogers before him.Copy !req
192. But you...Copy !req
193. They literally programmed you to kill.Copy !req
194. James, do what needs to be done.Copy !req
195. Karli has people everywhere,Copy !req
196. and there's only one way to make sure
she cannot continue her mission.Copy !req
197. I appreciate the advice.Copy !req
198. But we're gonna do it our own way.Copy !req
199. Yeah.Copy !req
200. I was afraid you would say that.Copy !req
201. Ladies...Copy !req
202. I took the liberty
of crossing off my name in your book.Copy !req
203. I hold no grudges
for what you thought you had to do.Copy !req
204. Goodbye, James.Copy !req
205. We will take him to the Raft...Copy !req
206. Where he will live out his days.Copy !req
207. It would be prudentCopy !req
208. to make yourself scarce in Wakanda
for the time being, White Wolf.Copy !req
209. Fair enough.Copy !req
210. Hey!Copy !req
211. I may have another favor to ask of you.Copy !req
212. Come on.Copy !req
213. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
What you doing, man? Where you goin'?Copy !req
214. I'm goin' to see your grandfather.Copy !req
215. All right, he in the back.Copy !req
216. Thanks.Copy !req
217. - I'll be back there.
- Yeah.Copy !req
218. Check up, man.Copy !req
219. Oh!Copy !req
220. That what I think it is?Copy !req
221. Mmm-mmm. Leave it covered.Copy !req
222. Them stars and stripes
don't mean nothin' good to me.Copy !req
223. I need to understand.Copy !req
224. You understand.Copy !req
225. Every Black man does.Copy !req
226. Whether you wanna deny it or not...Copy !req
227. Don't do that bitter,
old man thing with me.Copy !req
228. If you ain't bitter, you're blind.Copy !req
229. I don't get it, okay?Copy !req
230. What went wrong?Copy !req
231. I used to be like you,Copy !req
232. until I opened my eyes,Copy !req
233. until I saw men in the Red Tails,Copy !req
234. the famous 332 fight for this country,Copy !req
235. only to come home
to find crosses burned on their lawn.Copy !req
236. I'm from the south. I get that.Copy !req
237. But you were a Super Soldier like Steve.
You could've been the next...Copy !req
238. The next? What?Copy !req
239. Huh?Copy !req
240. Blonde hair, blue eyes, stars and stripes?Copy !req
241. The entire world's been chasing
that great white hopeCopy !req
242. since he first got dosed with that serum.Copy !req
243. Steve did not put you in jail.Copy !req
244. She died while I was in jail.Copy !req
245. They, uh, never let a single
one of her letters get to me.Copy !req
246. They locked 'em in this box.Copy !req
247. They told her I was dead.Copy !req
248. Yeah, and after a while,
she was gone, and, uh...Copy !req
249. Sorry.Copy !req
250. You wanted to know what went wrong?Copy !req
251. A handful of us got shot up
with different versions of that serum,Copy !req
252. but they don't tell us what it is.Copy !req
253. They tell us it's tetanus.Copy !req
254. They sent us on missions,Copy !req
255. even though the others weren't stable.Copy !req
256. Some of us started dying off.Copy !req
257. Then a couple of the boys
get captured on a mission.Copy !req
258. I heard the brass talkin'
about blowing the POW camp to hellCopy !req
259. to hide the evidence.Copy !req
260. But those were my men. My brothers.Copy !req
261. Not evidence.Copy !req
262. So I bust out of the facility one nightCopy !req
263. and I brought them boys back.Copy !req
264. Not that it made a damn bit of difference.Copy !req
265. It wasn't long before it was only me left.Copy !req
266. And what did I get for saving their lives?Copy !req
267. For the next 30 years,Copy !req
268. they experimented on me,Copy !req
269. trying to figure out why the serum worked.Copy !req
270. There was a nurse.Copy !req
271. She took pity on me.Copy !req
272. Wrote up some fake reports, something.Copy !req
273. She had me declared dead.Copy !req
274. That's who gave me this.Copy !req
275. My God! (BREATH TREMBLING)Copy !req
276. Sam, I loved her so much.Copy !req
277. Mr. Bradley, um...Copy !req
278. We gotta do something.
We gotta tell somebody.Copy !req
279. No. Leave me dead. My name is buried.Copy !req
280. But the world's different now.
I know people.Copy !req
281. Man, that's why you're here?Copy !req
282. You think things are different?
You think times are different?Copy !req
283. You think I wouldn't be dead in a day
if you brought me out?Copy !req
284. You wanna believe jail was my fault
because you got that white man's shield.Copy !req
285. They were worried my story might get out.Copy !req
286. So, they erased me.Copy !req
287. My history.Copy !req
288. But they've been doing that for 500 years.Copy !req
289. Pledge allegiance to that, my brother.Copy !req
290. They will never let a Black man
be Captain America.Copy !req
291. And even if they did,Copy !req
292. no self-respecting Black man
would ever wanna be.Copy !req
293. Sarah, I'm comin' home.Copy !req
294. Good job, guys.Copy !req
295. In about 10 years,
we'll have this thing fixed.Copy !req
296. Would be fun to take the boat out
one more time, before we sell it?Copy !req
297. There's a great spot in Grand Isle,Copy !req
298. your grandfather used to take me,
catch a lot of fish.Copy !req
299. But Mom said we can't sell it.Copy !req
300. What?Copy !req
301. It's too messed up.Copy !req
302. Mr. Dinh said he wouldn't buy it
'cause it cost more to fix.Copy !req
303. And then he said
something else in Vietnamese.Copy !req
304. Yeah. (CHUCKLES)Copy !req
305. Why didn't you say somethin'?Copy !req
306. I didn't wanna tell you last nightCopy !req
307. when you were lookin' all sad puppy dog
in the rain.Copy !req
308. It was a rough day.Copy !req
309. You mean with Isaiah Bradley?Copy !req
310. And what they did to him.Copy !req
311. You wanna talk about it?Copy !req
312. No.Copy !req
313. I'm trying to figure out
what it all means.Copy !req
314. Okay, well, I'm here.Copy !req
315. But as far as the boat is concerned,
bottom line is, Mr. Dinh backed out.Copy !req
316. I don't know what to do.Copy !req
317. Parts alone on that thing are gonna eat up
most of what we get back.Copy !req
318. Listen to me. Don't worry.
I'm gonna fix the boat.Copy !req
319. (CHUCKLES) Aren't you supposed to be off
saving the world?Copy !req
320. Why are you back here bothering me?Copy !req
321. 'Cause my family's well-being
is a part of the world.Copy !req
322. (SMACKS LIPS)
So you're waiting for a lead?Copy !req
323. And the government stepped in
and took control and kind of benched us.Copy !req
324. Oh!Copy !req
325. Hey, guys.Copy !req
326. Please make sure
Bennett and Elling each get one.Copy !req
327. - Okay?
Okay.Copy !req
328. - All right. Bye.
Bye.Copy !req
329. Have a good day at school, guys.Copy !req
330. Okay.Copy !req
331. Bennett and Elling's dad
cannot get up before noon.Copy !req
332. Kids keep showing up hungry,
but are too proud to ask for any help.Copy !req
333. And you're like Mom,
feeding every kid in the neighborhood.Copy !req
334. How many people still owe Mom
and Dad something?Copy !req
335. All of them.Copy !req
336. All that's left, for sure.Copy !req
337. Hmm...Copy !req
338. It might be time
to call in a few of those favors.Copy !req
339. I'm gonna fix this damn boat.Copy !req
340. - Hey, it's Sam Wilson.
Hi, Sam.Copy !req
341. Yeah. Paul's youngest boy
from up the street.Copy !req
342. How's your sister?Copy !req
343. Hey, Miss Paddy.
You remember my mom and dad?Copy !req
344. MS. Yes, I remember.Copy !req
345. Hey, Mr. Falcon.Copy !req
346. What's happenin' with you, boy?Copy !req
347. I'm back in town,
that's why I'm calling.Copy !req
348. What you need?Copy !req
349. - Mr. Thurow.
Yes.Copy !req
350. Any chance I can ask a favor?Copy !req
351. Anything for the Wilson family.Copy !req
352. Appreciate it.
We'll be there if you need us.Copy !req
353. I don't know
how we're gonna get it out.Copy !req
354. We need some more guys for this.Copy !req
355. Tommy, Carlos, man, this is amazing.Copy !req
356. - Thanks so much, man.
Look...Copy !req
357. - Thank y'all.
- Hey, look,Copy !req
358. word goes out
the Wilson family needs help?Copy !req
359. Yes, sir.Copy !req
360. We still got a bit of usefulness in us.Copy !req
361. How do we get it off the truck?Copy !req
362. Oh!Copy !req
363. You're welcome.Copy !req
364. Just dropping this off.Copy !req
365. You can sign for it and I'll go.Copy !req
366. I called in a favor from the Wakandans.Copy !req
367. Sam!Copy !req
368. Hi.
- Hi.Copy !req
369. - (SAM GRUNTS)
- Hold on, hold on. You gotta go up.Copy !req
370. Why didn't you use the metal arm?Copy !req
371. Well...Copy !req
372. I don't always think of it immediately.Copy !req
373. I'm right-handed.Copy !req
374. So, this is the boat, huh?Copy !req
375. This is it.Copy !req
376. It's nice.Copy !req
377. You want any help?Copy !req
378. Yeah.Copy !req
379. I'm Bucky.Copy !req
380. Ah. Sarah.Copy !req
381. Sarah...Copy !req
382. Shit!Copy !req
383. Thanks.Copy !req
384. Think Karli's gonna throw in the towel?Copy !req
385. I think she's gonna double down.Copy !req
386. Any idea how to stop her?Copy !req
387. I got Joaquin working on something.Copy !req
388. Well, Zemo says there's only one way.Copy !req
389. Well...Copy !req
390. Gotta catch my flight tomorrow.Copy !req
391. Get a hotel room for the night.Copy !req
392. Crash, you know?Copy !req
393. You're just gonna set me up like that,
huh?Copy !req
394. I don't wanna make it weird
for your family.Copy !req
395. Just stay here.Copy !req
396. The people in this townCopy !req
397. are the most welcoming people
in the world.Copy !req
398. They don't care if you wear small T-shirtsCopy !req
399. or if you have six toes
or if your mom's your aunt.Copy !req
400. (CHUCKLES) Okay, I get it.Copy !req
401. I mean, you know, the people are nice.Copy !req
402. But don't flirt with my sister.Copy !req
403. - No.
- 'Cause if you do,Copy !req
404. I'll have Carlos cut you up,
feed you to fish.Copy !req
405. Okay.Copy !req
406. And then what?Copy !req
407. After I saw what happenedCopy !req
408. to Lemar,Copy !req
409. I went after him.Copy !req
410. And, um, that guy...Copy !req
411. He's the one that killed our boy?Copy !req
412. Yes.Copy !req
413. I would never let the person
who did that get away.Copy !req
414. And I hope you can find
some measure of peace in that.Copy !req
415. I took that.Copy !req
416. When we got back from our first tour.Copy !req
417. There was nobody like him.Copy !req
418. (SOBBING) Lemar knew the risk.Copy !req
419. After everything
you boys have been through together,Copy !req
420. I know he's restin' easierCopy !req
421. knowin' that the man who's responsibleCopy !req
422. got his justice.Copy !req
423. He was so proud of youCopy !req
424. when they made you Captain America.Copy !req
425. And he would tell me every day,Copy !req
426. what an honor it was to be your partner.Copy !req
427. It meant the world to him.Copy !req
428. And for me too.Copy !req
429. I'm sorry.Copy !req
430. If you ever need me,
I'm always here for you.Copy !req
431. Okay.Copy !req
432. I have a job for you.Copy !req
433. (IN ENGLISH) Please. If it weren't for me,
you'd be rotting in that Algerian prison.Copy !req
434. (IN ENGLISH) Finished?Copy !req
435. (IN ENGLISH)
I can give you double this time.Copy !req
436. I promise you won't regret saying yes.Copy !req
437. So what's it gonna be?Copy !req
438. Hey!Copy !req
439. Put it back.Copy !req
440. Hurry, hurry!Copy !req
441. Push the stopper.Copy !req
442. Oh, in there.Copy !req
443. - Thanks.
- Yep.Copy !req
444. Hey. Start loosening those bolts.Copy !req
445. Got it.Copy !req
446. Okay, so...Copy !req
447. Excuse me. No!Copy !req
448. There should be a three-sixteenths bolt
that goes in the big gear.Copy !req
449. - Nope.
Uh-huh. No. No.Copy !req
450. - You didn't even look.
- I didn't have to.Copy !req
451. Hi, Sarah.Copy !req
452. I told you specifically
that the water pumpCopy !req
453. was not the problem,
and yet, here you are.Copy !req
454. Yep, Samuel.Copy !req
455. In our defense,Copy !req
456. we were supposed to be done
long before you woke up.Copy !req
457. I don't come up to the skyCopy !req
458. to tell you how to barrel roll,
so don't come down hereCopy !req
459. and mess around
with things you don't understand.Copy !req
460. - Wow. Wow.
Bye. Off.Copy !req
461. Thank you, gentlemen.Copy !req
462. Appreciate you.Copy !req
463. I love you, bro.Copy !req
464. She's a very mean person.Copy !req
465. It's tough love.Copy !req
466. No. If you did what I told you to do,Copy !req
467. we would have been done
before any of this took place.Copy !req
468. There is no such thing.Copy !req
469. There's a prowess
that goes into my madness.Copy !req
470. Feels weird...Copy !req
471. Picking it up again.Copy !req
472. The legacy of that shieldCopy !req
473. is complicated, to say the least.Copy !req
474. When Steve told me what he was planning,
I don't think we understoodCopy !req
475. what it felt like for a Black man
to be handed the shield.Copy !req
476. How could we?Copy !req
477. I owe you an apology.Copy !req
478. I'm sorry.Copy !req
479. Thank you.Copy !req
480. Whatever happened with Walker,
it wasn't your fault.Copy !req
481. I get it.Copy !req
482. It's just, that shield'sCopy !req
483. the closest thing
I've got left to a family,Copy !req
484. so when you retired it,Copy !req
485. it made me feel like I had nothing left.Copy !req
486. Made me question everything.Copy !req
487. You, Steve, me.Copy !req
488. You know, I've got his, uh...Copy !req
489. I've got his book.Copy !req
490. And, uh...Copy !req
491. I just figured if it worked for him,Copy !req
492. then it'd work for me.Copy !req
493. I understand, man.Copy !req
494. But Steve is gone.Copy !req
495. And this might be a surprise,Copy !req
496. but it doesn't matter what Steve thought.Copy !req
497. You gotta stop looking to other people
to tell you who you are.Copy !req
498. Let me ask you.Copy !req
499. You still having those nightmares?Copy !req
500. All the time.Copy !req
501. It means I remember.Copy !req
502. It means a part of me is still there.Copy !req
503. Which means a part
of the Winter Soldier's still in me.Copy !req
504. You up for a little tough love?Copy !req
505. You want to climb out of the hell
you're in,Copy !req
506. do the work.Copy !req
507. Do it.Copy !req
508. I've been making amends.Copy !req
509. Nah. You weren't amending,
you were avenging.Copy !req
510. You were stopping all the wrongdoers
you enabled as the Winter Soldier,Copy !req
511. because you thought
it would bring you closure.Copy !req
512. You go to these people and say "sorry,"Copy !req
513. because you think
it'll make you feel better, right?Copy !req
514. But you gotta make them feel better.Copy !req
515. You gotta go to them and be of service.Copy !req
516. I'm sure there's at least one person
in that bookCopy !req
517. who needs closure about something,Copy !req
518. and you're the only one
who can give it to 'em.Copy !req
519. Probably a dozen.Copy !req
520. That's cool.Copy !req
521. Start with one.Copy !req
522. Good talk.Copy !req
523. - You know Karli won't quit.
- (SMACKS LIPS) Ah.Copy !req
524. You call me when you have a lead,
and I'll be there.Copy !req
525. Not necessarily as a team.Copy !req
526. Nope.Copy !req
527. - We're not that good.
- Definitely not.Copy !req
528. - We're professionals.
- Definitely.Copy !req
529. - And, uh, we're partners.
- Co-workers.Copy !req
530. But we're also a couple of guys
with a mutual friend.Copy !req
531. - Friend's now gone.
- So we're a couple of guys.Copy !req
532. - I can live with that.
- Perfect.Copy !req
533. Thanks for the help, man.Copy !req
534. Meant a lot.Copy !req
535. Of course.Copy !req
536. There's only one last thing to do.Copy !req
537. Looks good.Copy !req
538. Stop. Don't.Copy !req
539. - We can't sell it.
- (CHUCKLES)Copy !req
540. I know. I know the speech.
It's not smart, but...Copy !req
541. (SIGHS) I just can't.Copy !req
542. Sarah, I'm so happy to hear you say that.Copy !req
543. We have to preserve this.Copy !req
544. If there's one thing I've learned,
it's that I can't win every fight.Copy !req
545. That's cool.
I'm okay with that. But this...Copy !req
546. This is our history.Copy !req
547. We can't lose this fight.Copy !req
548. All our struggles as a people,
I think about it and I used to say,Copy !req
549. "I'mma show them.
I'mma go out and change the world."Copy !req
550. Yeah, silly, I know,Copy !req
551. but when I'd look in your eyes,Copy !req
552. I could tell you were always thinking
that I was runnin' away.Copy !req
553. Sam, listen to me.Copy !req
554. At no point in my life
did I ever think you were runnin' away.Copy !req
555. From anything.Copy !req
556. Not even when I was lightin' yo ass up
at the bank.Copy !req
557. Who knew you were so sensitive.Copy !req
558. God, I missed you so much.Copy !req
559. There's a fight out there,
and then, there's our fight here,Copy !req
560. and, bro, you have taken them both on.Copy !req
561. So you really gonna let Isaiah Bradley
get in your head?Copy !req
562. You gonna let him decide what you do next?Copy !req
563. Isaiah has been to hell and back.Copy !req
564. If I was in his shoes,
I'd feel the exact same way.Copy !req
565. But what would be the point
of all the pain and sacrificeCopy !req
566. if I wasn't willing to stand up
and keep fightin'?Copy !req
567. All day, baby.Copy !req
568. - Uncle Sam!
- Uncle Sam!Copy !req
569. Get him, AJ!Copy !req
570. What are we doin' here?Copy !req
571. I got some help to even out the odds.Copy !req
572. Sam screwed him out of a small fortune
not long ago.Copy !req
573. He's been dying to get payback ever since.Copy !req
574. (IN ENGLISH) Come on.Copy !req
575. So we're working with criminals now?Copy !req
576. Haven't you heard?Copy !req
577. We are criminals.Copy !req
578. Georges gets his payback
and we get a killer.Copy !req
579. It's a bargain on both sides.Copy !req
580. You invite me here for a picnic or what?Copy !req
581. We're gonna make sure
the GRC vote never happens.Copy !req
582. Hey.Copy !req
583. (IN ENGLISH)
I'm only here to kill the Falcon.Copy !req
584. You'll get your chance.Copy !req
585. Tonight, we go to battle.Copy !req
586. All of us.Copy !req
587. In New York, where the GRC is voting
on the controversial Patch Act,Copy !req
588. which would move upwards
of twenty million refugeesCopy !req
589. back home to their countries of origin.Copy !req
590. It's coming during these difficult times
of international politics.Copy !req
591. Sorry this took so long.
Spare you the technical details,Copy !req
592. but I finally got results
for the scans you asked for,Copy !req
593. and I think we're onto something.Copy !req
594. When we look back, all these pings,Copy !req
595. they're from places just
before the Flag Smashers hit,Copy !req
596. clearly, they're all over Europe.Copy !req
597. Earlier today, we got one from New York.Copy !req
598. Now, I can't promise you
they're not using a VPNCopy !req
599. or masking their location, but...Copy !req
600. Great work, Joaquin.Copy !req
601. I'll take it from here.Copy !req
602. Look,
the right people will go along with this,Copy !req
603. they always do...Copy !req
604. You have to consider the optics.Copy !req
605. No, the optics are whatever we show them.Copy !req
606. People have to believe
in what we're doing to support us.Copy !req
607. Do we really need to bother with a vote?Copy !req
608. There are troops in place.Copy !req
609. I can make a call
and have the refugees move now.Copy !req
610. We're not rounding them up like cattle.Copy !req
611. And we still
do not have sufficient resourcesCopy !req
612. in the resettlement camps.Copy !req
613. What's sufficient?Copy !req
614. They can't stay where they are forever.Copy !req
615. - One world.
- One people.Copy !req
