13. Oh, Jimmy,
you poor baby.Copy !req
14. You're sick as a dog.Copy !req
15. You get into bedCopy !req
16. this minute!Copy !req
17. ( stuffed up ):
Aw, but, Mom...!Copy !req
18. I gotta go to...
( sneezes )school.Copy !req
19. You're not going anywhere,
young man!Copy !req
20. Will you be all right,
staying here by yourself today?Copy !req
21. Well, I... I guess so.Copy !req
22. It doesn't get
any better than this.Copy !req
23. Here's today's
homework, Jimmy.Copy !req
24. Gee, you look
really sick.Copy !req
25. Yeah...!Copy !req
26. You look like you have
beriberi fever!Copy !req
27. Have you been eating any berries
that were foaming at the mouth?Copy !req
28. ( sniffling ):
Actually, guys...Copy !req
29. I'm not sick.Copy !req
30. The Neutronic Sick Patch!Copy !req
31. You're only sick
when you wear it.Copy !req
32. So your parents
let you miss school!Copy !req
33. When they're gone,
you take it off and...Copy !req
34. The party begins!Copy !req
35. I want one!Copy !req
36. Patch me!
Patch me!Copy !req
37. I want cholera!Copy !req
38. ( laughing ):
Step right up, gentlemen!Copy !req
39. Hey!Copy !req
40. What about us, Neutron?Copy !req
41. Sounds like you finally
invented something useful.Copy !req
42. We want patches!Copy !req
43. I'd like one to match my eyes.Copy !req
44. ( sighs ):
Okay, but don't
tell anybody else.Copy !req
45. I want a sick patch!Copy !req
46. No school for me!Copy !req
47. Patch! Patch! Patch!Copy !req
48. This is terrible!Copy !req
49. Teaching is the only thing
that keeps me alive!Copy !req
50. How do clouds create rain, Carl?Copy !req
51. ( imitating Carl ):
Uh, well, when the clouds
get very sad, they cry.Copy !req
52. ( normally ):
No, Carl.Copy !req
53. Jimmy?Copy !req
54. ( as Jimmy ):
Water vapor condensesCopy !req
55. on a particle called
a condensation nucleus!Copy !req
56. Gotta blast!Copy !req
57. ( in normal voice ):
Very good, Jimmy!Copy !req
58. I miss them all so much...Copy !req
59. Except Sheen!Copy !req
60. How's it going, guys?Copy !req
61. Oh man, this is
so sweet!Copy !req
62. I love you,
Jimmy!Copy !req
63. It doesn't get any better
than...Copy !req
64. Hi, Jimbo, how you feeling?Copy !req
65. You know, you've missed
two days of school!Copy !req
66. Now, I don't want your brain
to rot, so guess what?Copy !req
67. I'm going to home-school you!Copy !req
68. But... don't you
have to go to work?Copy !req
69. Nope, I took the whole week off!Copy !req
70. What'll we do first?Copy !req
71. Oh, let's do Math!Copy !req
72. No, too numbery!Copy !req
73. Let's start with biology!Copy !req
74. All right, now!Copy !req
75. The heart goes beat, beat, beatCopy !req
76. and the, red...
gooey stuff goes
into the...Copy !req
77. You might want to
pay attention here.Copy !req
78. You never know when
you're going to
be quizzed.Copy !req
79. Relax, Cindy,
only 678 more
needles to go.Copy !req
80. ( laughing ):
This is the same plastic bubbleCopy !req
81. that my father put me in
for 14 happy years!Copy !req
82. Hey, there, Bubble Boy!Copy !req
83. Relax, baby,
it's only a little wasp!Copy !req
84. Your great-great-great-
grandmother used wasps
to cure everything!Copy !req
85. Then why don't you
dig her upCopy !req
86. and let it sting her?Copy !req
87. ( demurely ):
I'm sorry Mama.Copy !req
88. All right— the old
"pepper-up-the-nose cure"!Copy !req
89. I love it,
bring it on!Copy !req
90. What's the bone in your knee?Copy !req
91. This one, right here?Copy !req
92. ( whispering ):
I can't take it anymore.Copy !req
93. It's time to get well.Copy !req
94. Ha! Get down!Copy !req
95. Bend the knee!Copy !req
96. Bend the knee
and touch the sky! Ha!Copy !req
97. Your sick patch dissolved
into my skin, Nerdtron!Copy !req
98. Jimmy, my patch
pulled a Houdini!Copy !req
99. Cure me or face
the consequences!Copy !req
100. I don't want to
be a Bubble Boy!Copy !req
101. Okay, okay, settle down!Copy !req
102. I can fix it.Copy !req
103. Carl, Sheen, sneak out and meet
me in the you-know-what.Copy !req
104. Now, the sick patchesCopy !req
105. dissolved into
our bloodstream.Copy !req
106. We'll be sick foreverCopy !req
107. unless I can
extract some
mitochondriaCopy !req
108. from the virus
and make a vaccine.Copy !req
109. To do that, two of us will
have to shrink to microbe sizeCopy !req
110. and travel inside
one of you guys.Copy !req
111. I volunteer...Copy !req
112. Carl to be the person
we go inside of.Copy !req
113. I second the...Copy !req
114. Hey, wait a minute.Copy !req
115. Uh, Jimmy, is this legal?Copy !req
116. In some states.Copy !req
117. Depends what you mean
by "legal."Copy !req
118. Let's go!Copy !req
119. Goddard, activate
shrink rayCopy !req
120. and commence
shrinkage!Copy !req
121. Wow!Copy !req
122. We are so small!Copy !req
123. Let us begin our fantastic
journey to the center of Carl.Copy !req
124. Um, if you guys find anything
neat inside me,Copy !req
125. would you bring it back
so I could see it?Copy !req
126. Ow!Copy !req
127. Hey, Carl, you need to do
some excavating in here!Copy !req
128. Hey, guys, that tickles!Copy !req
129. Ah...Copy !req
130. Ah... ah...Copy !req
131. Carl, do not sneeze!Copy !req
132. I repeat:
Do not sneeze!Copy !req
133. Sorry.Copy !req
134. Look, there's
Carl's brain!Copy !req
135. Where? I don't see it.Copy !req
136. Is it behind that
walnut on a stick?Copy !req
137. Um... well...
actually...Copy !req
138. Oh.Copy !req
139. Hey, Jimmy, look!Copy !req
140. It's that thing
you see in cartoonsCopy !req
141. that people always punch
like a punching bag!Copy !req
142. I'm going to take a whack at it!Copy !req
143. No, No, No, Sheen!Copy !req
144. If you touch Carl's
uvula, he'll throw up!Copy !req
145. Whew! Thanks, Jim,
I owe you one.Copy !req
146. So, where do we go...Copy !req
147. now...?Copy !req
148. Hey, you guys taste pretty good!Copy !req
149. We've reached
our destination...Copy !req
150. the stomach!Copy !req
151. Man, Carl eats
a lot of junk, doesn't he?Copy !req
152. Hey, Carl, you're supposed
to play with the toysCopy !req
153. in The Silly Meals,
not eat 'em!Copy !req
154. I know, but they always look
so colorful and chewy!Copy !req
155. That germ has to be around here
somewhere!Copy !req
156. Be careful
of those gas bubbles, Sheen,Copy !req
157. you don't want to get
trapped in one of...Copy !req
158. Hey, get me outta here!Copy !req
159. There's a germ!Copy !req
160. I have to extract
the mitochondriaCopy !req
161. before it gets away!Copy !req
162. I have a very bad feeling
about this.Copy !req
163. Germ attack!Copy !req
164. I saw that movie!Copy !req
165. The special effects
were third rate,Copy !req
166. but the acting was better
than expected.Copy !req
167. I gave it a thumbs-up.Copy !req
168. Sheen, you have to distract
the other germsCopy !req
169. while I get
the mitochondria out!Copy !req
170. Okay, but I better get
some kind of award for this!Copy !req
171. Hey, germs, over here!Copy !req
172. Looky, looky!Copy !req
173. It's not working!Copy !req
174. Do something else!Copy !req
175. How about some impressions?Copy !req
176. Anything!Copy !req
177. Okay.Copy !req
178. ( in normal voice ):
I'll be back!Copy !req
179. Here's Johnny!Copy !req
180. You dirty rat!Copy !req
181. That's all, folks!Copy !req
182. Um, do you do anything...
besides impressions?Copy !req
183. I used to dance
in my younger days.Copy !req
184. Then dance!Copy !req
185. Shake it, Sheen, shake it.Copy !req
186. But don't break it, Sheen.
Ooh! Ooh!Copy !req
187. Try something else!Copy !req
188. What am I, a three-ring circus?Copy !req
189. That's all I got!Copy !req
190. Wait, I have an idea.Copy !req
191. Germs are attracted to saline,
which exists in tears.Copy !req
192. Sheen, start crying!Copy !req
193. How am I supposed
to cry right now?Copy !req
194. I don't cry, I'm a man!Copy !req
195. Pretend Ultra Lord
just got canceled!Copy !req
196. Why is the world so cruel?Copy !req
197. I got the mitochondria!Copy !req
198. Let's blow this pop stand!Copy !req
199. How do we get out of here?Copy !req
200. Through the
nearest exit!Copy !req
201. Uh, do you have
a plan "B" perhaps?Copy !req
202. Well, we could always
pull a "Pinocchio."Copy !req
203. We're going to turn
into puppets?Copy !req
204. Cool!Copy !req
205. No, but if we
had something to
make Carl sneezeCopy !req
206. like the whale
in Pinocchio,
we'd get out.Copy !req
207. Like my dad always says,Copy !req
208. "When in doubt,
break out the pepper!"Copy !req
209. Ah... ah...Copy !req
210. Prepare for bodily ejection
at Hyper-Sneeze Speed!Copy !req
211. Jimmy told me not to sneeze!Copy !req
212. Must... fight it!Copy !req
213. Fight it!Copy !req
214. Ah... ah... Losing!Copy !req
215. Did you guys
bring me a souvenir?Copy !req
216. Now I can cure
everybodyCopy !req
217. and we can
go back to school!Copy !req
218. Uh, can I take
a shower first?Copy !req
219. I can't believe
I'm saying this,Copy !req
220. but I'm glad to
be back in school.Copy !req
221. I'm never getting sick again!Copy !req
222. That wasp sting really hurt!Copy !req
223. One little sting?Copy !req
224. Try 678 needlesCopy !req
225. and then talk to me
about pain!Copy !req
226. No more leeches, Mama.Copy !req
227. No more leeches, Mama.Copy !req
228. No more leeches, Mama.Copy !req
229. It's so good
to have you all back!Copy !req
230. Now, I'd like you
to meet a new student.Copy !req
231. Please give a nice,
warm, friendly welcomeCopy !req
232. to Yentl Marmelstein.Copy !req
233. Hi, I... ( sniffles )Copy !req
234. Oh, sorry.Copy !req
235. I have a cold.Copy !req
236. No!Copy !req
237. Keep her away from us!Copy !req
238. Unclean! Unclean!Copy !req
239. Sanctuary!Copy !req
240. Run for your life!Copy !req
241. I think they like you!Copy !req
242. The great outdoors.Copy !req
243. Now, this is
what it's all about.Copy !req
244. Fresh air, clean dirt,Copy !req
245. nothing to depend on
but your own sweat and toil.Copy !req
246. Uh, honey, come on,
put your back into it.Copy !req
247. Okay, dear, all packed.Copy !req
248. Thanks,
Sugar Booger.Copy !req
249. Oh, this is
going to beCopy !req
250. the best camping
trip ever.Copy !req
251. Boys, are you ready
to move out?Copy !req
252. Um, Jimmy?Copy !req
253. Not that no TV and ticks
in your sleeping bag isn't fun,Copy !req
254. but... why do we have
to go camping with you?Copy !req
255. If you don't, I'll be forcedCopy !req
256. to publish these photos
of you guysCopy !req
257. playing with Pomona Beach
Debbie dolls.Copy !req
258. Pomona Beach Debbie is
an action figure!Copy !req
259. She possesses
supermutant powersCopy !req
260. which can defeat
any adversary...Copy !req
261. Except for Ultra Lord.Copy !req
262. I like the pretty
bathing suits.Copy !req
263. What is this? Insect repellent?Copy !req
264. A compass? Toilet paper?Copy !req
265. These frilly luxuries
will just weigh us down.Copy !req
266. Hugh, are you sure
you know what you're doing?Copy !req
267. Of course, I do— don't forget
I was an Acorn Lad.Copy !req
268. I remember everything
I've ever learned.Copy !req
269. Like the song
that we used to sing.Copy !req
270. Come on, Goddard!Copy !req
271. No, no, no.Copy !req
272. No technology at all
on this trip.Copy !req
273. Today we pit
our Neutron hardihoodCopy !req
274. against the savage wild.Copy !req
275. Man— and boy— against nature.Copy !req
276. Come on, boys, sing it with me.Copy !req
277. Bye-bye.Copy !req
278. Alone at last.Copy !req
279. Let's break out the cookie doughCopy !req
280. and watch gladiator movies.Copy !req
281. Well, look it.Copy !req
282. Here we are!Copy !req
283. Dad, this isn't the campground.Copy !req
284. Campgrounds are
for tenderfoots, Jimbo,Copy !req
285. what with their fancy
running water,Copy !req
286. and first aid kits,
and adequate lighting.Copy !req
287. Oh, no, we're headed
deep into the untamed wild.Copy !req
288. Jimmy?Copy !req
289. Your dad is beginning
to scare me.Copy !req
290. Don't worry, guys.Copy !req
291. I worked all last nightCopy !req
292. on a very special invention.Copy !req
293. We won't be roughing it
on this camping trip.Copy !req
294. Come on, boys, follow me
into this mosquito-infested bog!Copy !req
295. Hey, wait a minute.Copy !req
296. This is the fourth time
we've been through this bog.Copy !req
297. Dad, I think we're lost.Copy !req
298. Lost, are we?Copy !req
299. Uh... no.Copy !req
300. This is my old secret campsite.Copy !req
301. Or close enough—
it's got trees and rocks.Copy !req
302. Yeah, you boys set up camp.Copy !req
303. I go bring back fire.Copy !req
304. See you later, bye-bye.Copy !req
305. When he gets back, Carl,Copy !req
306. hit him over the head
with a coconut,Copy !req
307. and I'll go for his legs.Copy !req
308. No need, Sheen.Copy !req
309. I told you, we're not going
to rough it on this trip.Copy !req
310. Behold the remarkable simplicity
that is...Copy !req
311. the Neutron Camp-in-a-Box.Copy !req
312. Well, how are we going
to fit in there?Copy !req
313. It's every convenience
you could wish forCopy !req
314. in a stark wilderness setting.Copy !req
315. Observe.Copy !req
316. Wow!Copy !req
317. Cool.Copy !req
318. All right!Copy !req
319. Good evening, sir.Copy !req
320. May I bring you something?Copy !req
321. Who's that?Copy !req
322. Oh, that's just
Rayburn.Copy !req
323. He's a holographic butler
I programmed into the campsite.Copy !req
324. May I suggest for the young
masters a '72 purple FlurpCopy !req
325. with a plate of hot wings
and a video game?Copy !req
326. Are these outdoors great,
or what?Copy !req
327. Yeah!Copy !req
328. Wow!Copy !req
329. ( voice trembling ):
I've never felt more
at one with nature.Copy !req
330. Come on, come on.Copy !req
331. Spark, will you?Copy !req
332. Must make fire.Copy !req
333. Oh, it's no use.Copy !req
334. I've tried everything,Copy !req
335. even this highly
combustible dirt.Copy !req
336. I just...Copy !req
337. can't get anything to spark.Copy !req
338. Maybe my backwoods skills aren't
what they used to be, I...Copy !req
339. Wait a minute.Copy !req
340. What's all the hubbub?Copy !req
341. Hey, Jimmy?Copy !req
342. If your butler's
just a hologram,Copy !req
343. how come he can make us
chocolate sundaes and stuff?Copy !req
344. He's composed of specially
solidified photons.Copy !req
345. You can pick them up
at any hardware store.Copy !req
346. Well, his pork tartar is
out of this world.Copy !req
347. Jimbo!Copy !req
348. What have you done?Copy !req
349. Dad, you're back already.Copy !req
350. I, I can explain.Copy !req
351. No need, son,
I can see for myself.Copy !req
352. You did a great job
setting up this campsite.Copy !req
353. Uh... I did?Copy !req
354. Well, a little flashy,
but it looksCopy !req
355. like you got the old
wilderness genes after all.Copy !req
356. Good evening, sir.Copy !req
357. May I bring you something?Copy !req
358. Jimbo, who's the
shimmery guy?Copy !req
359. Um, gee, uh...Copy !req
360. Park ranger.Copy !req
361. He helped us set up.Copy !req
362. I would suggest
you not poke me, sir.Copy !req
363. You'll disrupt my phasing.Copy !req
364. But, what the...Copy !req
365. Wait a minute.Copy !req
366. He's one of your
hologrammy thingies,
isn't he?Copy !req
367. Oh... now I get it.Copy !req
368. You set all this up
using technology.Copy !req
369. Jimbo, I am very
disappointed in you.Copy !req
370. But... You said
I could set up camp.Copy !req
371. A Neutron doesn't need
fancy gadgets to survive
in the wild.Copy !req
372. I'm sorry, son, but
this stuff is going
to have to go.Copy !req
373. No, but, Dad...Copy !req
374. No "buts", young man.Copy !req
375. Now, how do I turn
all this stuff off?Copy !req
376. You'd have to remove
the power pack, sir.Copy !req
377. Just under the soda bar.Copy !req
378. Dad, dad, wait.Copy !req
379. The reactor...Copy !req
380. Of course,
removing the power packCopy !req
381. while the core
is still activeCopy !req
382. will lead to a meltdownCopy !req
383. in five, four, three...Copy !req
384. Run!Copy !req
385. Will you be needing
anything else, sir?Copy !req
386. Our camp, our equipment...Copy !req
387. Everything's gone!Copy !req
388. We're doomed!Copy !req
389. All right, calm down.Copy !req
390. I know what you're all thinking:Copy !req
391. "This is Jimmy's fault."Copy !req
392. But don't worry.Copy !req
393. I can still use
my wilderness skillsCopy !req
394. to get all of us home safely.Copy !req
395. But Dad, it's almost
too dark to see the trail.Copy !req
396. A true camper doesn't
trust his eyes, Jimbo.Copy !req
397. He goes by pure
animal instinct.Copy !req
398. This way, lads.Copy !req
399. Mmm.Copy !req
400. Eeny, eeny, miny, mo.Copy !req
401. You said "eeny"
twice.Copy !req
402. Oh, it's no use!Copy !req
403. We're done for,
and it's all my fault!Copy !req
404. The truth is,
I'm a rotten camper!Copy !req
405. There, I said it.Copy !req
406. The other Acorn Lads used to
dunk my head in the bug juice.Copy !req
407. I can't even make a stupid fire.Copy !req
408. Oh, don't worry, Dad.Copy !req
409. We'll find
a way out of this.Copy !req
410. I don't care if you're
a mediocre camper,Copy !req
411. I still think
you're a great dad.Copy !req
412. Thanks, son, I...Copy !req
413. I needed to hear that.Copy !req
414. So you couldn't even
make a fire.Copy !req
415. Oh, no, it's starting.Copy !req
416. The gnawing hunger.Copy !req
417. Must resist desire
for human flesh!Copy !req
418. Wait a minute, Carl.Copy !req
419. That didn't sound
like your stomach.Copy !req
420. Bear!Copy !req
421. It's a dead end!Copy !req
422. We'll have to make a standCopy !req
423. right here, boys.Copy !req
424. Who knew it would
end like this,Copy !req
425. trapped between these
bright yellow rocksCopy !req
426. and these clear,
sparkly ones?Copy !req
427. Yellow?Copy !req
428. Why, that's sulfur!Copy !req
429. And this is phosphorus.Copy !req
430. Dad, that's it!Copy !req
431. We can still save ourselves
by making a fireCopy !req
432. from the natural elements
around us.Copy !req
433. Yeah, but Jimmy,
I can't, I don't know...Copy !req
434. Dad, you're the only one
who can save us.Copy !req
435. We'll distract the bear.Copy !req
436. Yeah... We will?Copy !req
437. Come on, come on, come...Copy !req
438. Oh, no.Copy !req
439. Get back.Copy !req
440. Back, back, give way,
for I,Copy !req
441. Hugh Neutron,
have made fire.Copy !req
