1. Oh, you found Ralph Macchio.Copy !req
2. - Macchio?
- Yeah, he's the Karate Kid.Copy !req
3. Hai-yah!Copy !req
4. He's so hot, right?Copy !req
5. I bet he's an amazing kisser, too.Copy !req
6. Hey, uh...Copy !req
7. is Mike a good kisser?Copy !req
8. I don't know.Copy !req
9. He's my first boyfriend.Copy !req
10. Ex-boyfriend.Copy !req
11. Hey, don't worry about it. Okay?Copy !req
12. He'll come crawling back to you
in no time, begging for forgiveness.Copy !req
13. I guarantee you, him and Lucas are, like,Copy !req
14. totally wallowing in self-pity and misery
right now.Copy !req
15. They're like,
"Oh, I hope they take us back."Copy !req
16. God, what I wouldn't give
to see their stupid faces.Copy !req
17. What is it?Copy !req
18. Is this really gonna work?Copy !req
19. Holy shit, this is insane.Copy !req
20. - Max.
- Yeah, quiet. I'm sorry.Copy !req
21. What's wrong with me?
What did I do wrong?Copy !req
22. Nothing.Copy !req
23. What did I do wrong?
What could I have done wrong?Copy !req
24. Do I have to
go through this again?Copy !req
25. I see them.Copy !req
26. What are they doing?Copy !req
27. Eating.Copy !req
28. I just don't understand what I did
to deserve this.Copy !req
29. Nothing. Nothing.
That's my whole point.Copy !req
30. You are the victim here.Copy !req
31. I know. It's just,
why is she treating me this way?Copy !req
32. - I don't know.
- Mike—Copy !req
33. What did I do wrong?Copy !req
34. - What did I do wrong?
- Mike, stop.Copy !req
35. Relax. Just relax.Copy !req
36. Okay? Stop asking rational questions.Copy !req
37. I know, I know, you're right.Copy !req
38. - Yeah.
- Because women act on emotionCopy !req
39. - and not logic.
- Precisely.Copy !req
40. It's a totally different species.Copy !req
41. They say we are "species."Copy !req
42. - What?
- "Emotion, not logic."Copy !req
43. What?Copy !req
44. Guys, it's ready.Copy !req
45. - Will, not right now.
- They broke up with you.Copy !req
46. - What else is there to talk about?
- Tons.Copy !req
47. Yeah, we're trying to solve
the great mystery of the female species.Copy !req
48. Dude, you can smell the nacho cheese.Copy !req
49. - I got that beat.
- What?Copy !req
50. - Oh, no.
- No, Lucas, no.Copy !req
51. No!Copy !req
52. - Lucas! Lucas!Copy !req
53. What happened?Copy !req
54. What...Copy !req
55. - What? What happened?Copy !req
56. Hey!Copy !req
57. Hey!Copy !req
58. When I say three inches, three—Copy !req
59. Do you knock? Jeez!Copy !req
60. Yeah! Jeez!Copy !req
61. Oh, hey.Copy !req
62. I'm sorry.Copy !req
63. - I thought that, uh—
- Mike's not here.Copy !req
64. Max wanted to have...Copy !req
65. a sleepover.Copy !req
66. Is that... okay?Copy !req
67. Yeah.Copy !req
68. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.Copy !req
69. Your parents know about it?Copy !req
70. Yup.Copy !req
71. Uh, yeah, it's cool.Copy !req
72. Yeah.Copy !req
73. That's— That's really cool.Copy !req
74. Did you need something?Copy !req
75. No, no.Copy !req
76. Uh, I'll leave.Copy !req
77. I'll just let you... I'll leave you...Copy !req
78. Holy shit,
I can't believe we're really doing this.Copy !req
79. - Ready?
- Ready.Copy !req
80. Mr. Wheeler.Copy !req
81. Ugh. Boring.Copy !req
82. Yeah, boring.Copy !req
83. Spin again.Copy !req
84. Against the rules?Copy !req
85. We make our own rules.Copy !req
86. Billy.Copy !req
87. Okay, look, I should just warn you,Copy !req
88. if he's with a girl
or doing something gross,Copy !req
89. just get out of there right away
before you're scarred for life.Copy !req
90. - Max—
- No, I'm just saying, I'm serious.Copy !req
91. - He's really gross.
- Max!Copy !req
92. Okay, shutting up now.Copy !req
93. I found him.Copy !req
94. What's he doing?Copy !req
95. I don't know.Copy !req
96. Don't be afraid.Copy !req
97. He's...Copy !req
98. on the floor...Copy !req
99. It'll be over soon.Copy !req
100. talking to someone.Copy !req
101. Just stay very still.Copy !req
102. Billy!Copy !req
103. What is it?Copy !req
104. What happened?Copy !req
105. - Yes!Copy !req
106. - What are you doing?
- Yeah, Will, can you turn down the music?Copy !req
107. Please address me by my full name.Copy !req
108. - What?
- My full name!Copy !req
109. Oh, my God. Okay, Will the Wise,Copy !req
110. can you please turn down the music?Copy !req
111. That is not music.Copy !req
112. That... is the sound of destiny!Copy !req
113. I have seen into the future,
and I've seen that today is a new day,Copy !req
114. a day...Copy !req
115. free of girls!Copy !req
116. What is happening right now?Copy !req
117. Will, come on.Copy !req
118. A tribe of villagers are under threat
from an evil forceCopy !req
119. from the swamps of Kuzatan.Copy !req
120. Will, it's so early.Copy !req
121. Is it?Copy !req
122. Is it early, Michael?Copy !req
123. Tell that to the villagers
crying for your help,Copy !req
124. the children so frightened,Copy !req
125. they cannot sleep.Copy !req
126. Are you truly going to let them perish?Copy !req
127. Or are you going to come to their rescueCopy !req
128. and become the heroes
you were always meant to be?Copy !req
129. Uh...Copy !req
130. Can I at least take a shower first?Copy !req
131. Oh, God.Copy !req
132. Hopper? Are you there?Copy !req
133. Oh! Look who it is!Copy !req
134. We need to talk.Copy !req
135. Yeah, we do.Copy !req
136. I haven't been stood up like that
since Alice Gilbert in the 9th grade.Copy !req
137. What are you doing?Copy !req
138. Joyce.Copy !req
139. - Hello?
- Just watch.Copy !req
140. Okay, you're freaking me out.Copy !req
141. - You slipped on this, remember?
- Yeah.Copy !req
142. Yeah, it fell in the night.
It lost its magnetism.Copy !req
143. - Oh, did it?
- And the same exact thing happenedCopy !req
144. at my house the day before.Copy !req
145. - Wow.
- And I thought, "Okay, that's weird."Copy !req
146. Right? Why are all these magnets
suddenly losing their magnetism?Copy !req
147. - Uh-huh?
- So, I went and saw Scott.Copy !req
148. Scott.Copy !req
149. Who's Scott?Copy !req
150. - Scott Clarke.
- Your child's science teacher?Copy !req
151. He's pretty brilliant, actually.Copy !req
152. And I asked him, "How is this happening?"Copy !req
153. And he built this magnetic field
using an AC transformerCopy !req
154. and plugging it into a solenoid.Copy !req
155. And— And with that solenoid,
which basically—Copy !req
156. Slow down, slow down.Copy !req
157. I just want to get this exactly right,
okay?Copy !req
158. You stand me up...Copy !req
159. - ... no phone call, no apology,Copy !req
160. because you had to go
to Scott Clarke's house.Copy !req
161. Yeah.Copy !req
162. You've outdone yourself, Joyce.Copy !req
163. You really have.
No, you've outdone yourself.Copy !req
164. Oh, come on, Hop,
you're not even listening to me.Copy !req
165. Scott was able to demagnetize
some of the magnets, and he thinks—Copy !req
166. I don't care what Scott thinks!Copy !req
167. He thinks that a large-scale
magnetic field could be builtCopy !req
168. using some sort of machine
or— or experimental technology.Copy !req
169. He's brilliant, isn't he?Copy !req
170. He's really brilliant. Is he single too?Copy !req
171. What if it's them?Copy !req
172. To build a machine like this,
you need resources.Copy !req
173. You need scientists, you need funding,Copy !req
174. - tens of millions of dollars.
- Joyce.Copy !req
175. It can't just be a coincidence, Hopper.Copy !req
176. It has to be them.Copy !req
177. Joyce, stop.Copy !req
178. It has to be the lab.Copy !req
179. It is impossible.Copy !req
180. - Well, then, prove it to me.
- Prove it?Copy !req
181. - Yeah, take me back there.
- To the lab.Copy !req
182. Yeah, I wanna go back.Copy !req
183. Because some magnets
fell off your fridge.Copy !req
184. Yes.Copy !req
185. Okay, makes sense.Copy !req
186. Thank you.Copy !req
187. It makes sense.Copy !req
188. I'm sorry.Copy !req
189. I'm a little busy right now,
but maybe we can meet up there,Copy !req
190. like tonight, like seven o'clock?Copy !req
191. You know, of course,
unless something comes upCopy !req
192. - which, you know, it will.
- You know,Copy !req
193. after everything that's happened,Copy !req
194. this is no joke.Copy !req
195. No, I don't think it's a joke.Copy !req
196. I think that when I asked you out,
I think you got scared.Copy !req
197. I think you got scared, and now,
you're inventing things.Copy !req
198. You're inventing things
to get worked up aboutCopy !req
199. so that you can push me away.Copy !req
200. Because God forbidCopy !req
201. any of usCopy !req
202. move on!Copy !req
203. Because that...Copy !req
204. that would be...Copy !req
205. I mean, that would be
too much, right, Joyce?Copy !req
206. You know?Copy !req
207. That would be too much,
wouldn't it, Joyce?Copy !req
208. Wouldn't it, Joyce?Copy !req
209. Joyce?Copy !req
210. Joyce!Copy !req
211. - What the hell are you doing?
- I need to borrow these.Copy !req
212. No, you're not going back there.Copy !req
213. Joyce...Copy !req
214. - Joyce, you're not going back there...Copy !req
215. Son of a bitch!Copy !req
216. It's gonna start pouring soon.Copy !req
217. We should be at the mall
or, like, watching a movie or something.Copy !req
218. You don't believe me?Copy !req
219. I believe you saw some
super weird stuff, totally,Copy !req
220. but you said Mike has
sensed you in there before, right?Copy !req
221. So maybe it was just like that.
Maybe Billy just...Copy !req
222. sensed you somehow.Copy !req
223. - But the screams.
- Yeah, I know, but here's the thing.Copy !req
224. When Billy is alone with a girl,Copy !req
225. they make, like, really crazy noises.Copy !req
226. - They scream?
- Yeah, but, like... happy screams.Copy !req
227. - Happy screams? What is happy screams?
- It's like...Copy !req
228. I'm just gonna lend you
my mom's Cosmo.Copy !req
229. His car's not here.Copy !req
230. You really want to do this?Copy !req
231. Why do I get the feeling we're gonna find
all kinds of wrong in here?Copy !req
232. Ugh!Copy !req
233. Gag me with a spoon.Copy !req
234. Max?Copy !req
235. Ice. It's just ice.Copy !req
236. Probably for his muscles or something.
He works out like a maniac.Copy !req
237. El, what is it?Copy !req
238. You sure about this?Copy !req
239. You really are your mother's son,
you know that?Copy !req
240. What's that supposed to mean?Copy !req
241. It means...Copy !req
242. you worry too much.Copy !req
243. - Huh.
- I got this, okay?Copy !req
244. Okay.Copy !req
245. So, what exactly are we looking at here?
Is this the Driscoll lady's stuff?Copy !req
246. No. No, see, that's the thing. I mean,Copy !req
247. listen, I thought she was crazy too, but—Copy !req
248. - She told me Johnson killed Kennedy.Copy !req
249. But, it turns out, she's not alone.Copy !req
250. Blackburn's Supply, Hawkins Farming,
the Crawleys,Copy !req
251. they've all had some supplies go missing,
all in the past few days.Copy !req
252. And it's not just fertilizer.Copy !req
253. It's pesticides, cleaning supplies,
diesel fuel.Copy !req
254. And that's just from one day
of calling around. I mean...Copy !req
255. there's gotta be more.Copy !req
256. Okay, wait, wait, wait.
Let me get this little...Copy !req
257. story of yours straight.Copy !req
258. So, little rodents have gone cuckoo
in their furry little mindsCopy !req
259. and they're running around
the town of Hawkins,Copy !req
260. dining out on chemicals.Copy !req
261. I know how it sounds, but—Copy !req
262. But you've got proof!Copy !req
263. I mean, fellas, you gotta admit,
it's a hell of a headline, right?Copy !req
264. "Hawkins Rodents Prefer Poison:
Nutjob Tells All."Copy !req
265. - Guys, that's enough.Copy !req
266. I think this is...Copy !req
267. big.Copy !req
268. Bigger than one article.Copy !req
269. In fact,
I think this has got to be a book.Copy !req
270. The Mysterious Case
of the Missing Fertilizer,Copy !req
271. a Nancy Drew mystery.Copy !req
272. Next time a call comes in,Copy !req
273. do what you were hired for,Copy !req
274. and let us know, yeah?Copy !req
275. Ah...Copy !req
276. We'll decide what's a story
and what's not.Copy !req
277. Okay.Copy !req
278. - Bye-bye, Nancy Drew.Copy !req
279. Hey, it's okay. Nancy. Nancy!Copy !req
280. - Excuse me.Copy !req
281. Ahoy!Copy !req
282. I'd like to try the peanut butter
chocolate swirl, please.Copy !req
283. No. No more samples today.Copy !req
284. Why not?Copy !req
285. Because you're abusing our company policy.Copy !req
286. Where's the sailor man?Copy !req
287. Sorry, he can't help you. He's busy.Copy !req
288. Busy with what?Copy !req
289. Spycraft.Copy !req
290. You see anything?Copy !req
291. Uh, I guess I don't totally know
what I'm looking for.Copy !req
292. Evil Russians.Copy !req
293. Yeah, exactly. I don't know
what an evil Russian looks like.Copy !req
294. - Tall, blond, not smiling.
- Mm-hmm?Copy !req
295. Also, look for earpieces,Copy !req
296. camo, duffel bags,
that sort of thing.Copy !req
297. Right, okay, duffel bags.Copy !req
298. - Oh, you've gotta be kidding me.
- What?Copy !req
299. Anna Jacobi's talking
with that meathead Mark Lewinsky.Copy !req
300. If you're not gonna focus,
just gimme the binoculars.Copy !req
301. Aw, Jesus Christ,
whatever happened to standards?Copy !req
302. I mean,
Lewinsky never even came off the bench.Copy !req
303. Dude, you are the worst spy in history,
you know that?Copy !req
304. - Stop, hey. Stop.
- Give me those.Copy !req
305. I don't get why you're looking at girls.
You have the perfect one in front of you.Copy !req
306. - Seriously, if you say Robin again—
- Robin.Copy !req
307. - No, don't. No.
- Robin, Robin, Robin.Copy !req
308. - Stop, no, no, no.
- Robin. Robin.Copy !req
309. - Robin.
- No.Copy !req
310. - Robin.
- No!Copy !req
311. No, man, she's not my type.Copy !req
312. She's not even...Copy !req
313. in the ballpark of what my type is,
all right?Copy !req
314. What's your type again? Not awesome?Copy !req
315. - Thank you.
- Hm.Copy !req
316. For your information,
she's still in school. And she's weird.Copy !req
317. She's a weirdo. And she's hyper.Copy !req
318. I don't like that she's hyper.Copy !req
319. And she did drama.
That's a bad look.Copy !req
320. And she's in band?Copy !req
321. - No.
- Now that you're out of high school,Copy !req
322. which means you're technically an adult,
don't you think it's time you move onCopy !req
323. from primitive constructs
such as popularity?Copy !req
324. Oh, primitive constructs? That some
stupid shit you learned at Camp...Copy !req
325. Know... Nothing?Copy !req
326. Camp Know Where, actually.Copy !req
327. - And no, it's shit I learned from life.
- Hm.Copy !req
328. Instead of dating somebody
you think's gonna make you cooler,Copy !req
329. why not date somebody you actually enjoy
being around?Copy !req
330. Like me and Suzie.Copy !req
331. Oh, Suzie.Copy !req
332. Yeah, you mean,
"hotter than Phoebe Cates."Copy !req
333. Yeah, that Suzie.Copy !req
334. And, uh, let's think aboutCopy !req
335. how exactly did you score
that beautiful girlfriend?Copy !req
336. Oh, yeah. With my advice.Copy !req
337. Because that's how this works, Henderson.Copy !req
338. I give you the advice, you follow through.Copy !req
339. Not the other way around,
all right, pea-brain?Copy !req
340. Do you guys hear that?Copy !req
341. It sounds like... thunder.Copy !req
342. But, no, wait. That's not thunder.Copy !req
343. It's...Copy !req
344. a horde of juju zombies!Copy !req
345. Sir Mike, your action.Copy !req
346. What should I do?Copy !req
347. Attack?Copy !req
348. Okay, I attack with my flail.Copy !req
349. - Whoosh!Copy !req
350. You miss.Copy !req
351. Your flail clanks the stone, the zombie
horde lumbers towards you, and...Copy !req
352. the juju bites your arm. Flesh tears!Copy !req
353. Aah!Copy !req
354. Seven points of damage.Copy !req
355. Oh, no, my arm.Copy !req
356. - Lucas, look, my arm.Copy !req
357. Sir Lucas, the zombie horde roars!Copy !req
358. Do you fight back or do you run?Copy !req
359. No! It's a distraction!Copy !req
360. A trap. Do not answer it.Copy !req
361. What... No!Copy !req
362. El?Copy !req
363. No.Copy !req
364. Sorry, not interested.Copy !req
365. Telemarketers.Copy !req
366. Maybe we should just call them.Copy !req
367. We can do that?Copy !req
368. - I think so.
- Yeah, but what would we say?Copy !req
369. We'll say nothing! The Khuisar tribe
still needs your help.Copy !req
370. All right, then.Copy !req
371. I'll use my torch to set fire
to the chambers, sacrificing ourselves,Copy !req
372. killing the jujus, and saving the Khuisar.Copy !req
373. We all live on as heroes
in the memories of the Kalamar.Copy !req
374. Victory.Copy !req
375. Okay. Fine.Copy !req
376. - You guys win.Copy !req
377. - Congratulations.
- Will, I was just messing around.Copy !req
378. Hey, let's finish for real.Copy !req
379. - How much longer is the campaign?
- Just forget it, Mike.Copy !req
380. No, you want to keep playing, right?Copy !req
381. Y-Yeah, totally.Copy !req
382. - We'll just call the girls afterwards.
- I said forget it, Mike, okay?Copy !req
383. - I'm going home.
- But...Copy !req
384. - Come on, Will.
- Move!Copy !req
385. Will, come on.Copy !req
386. You can't leave. It's raining.Copy !req
387. Listen, I said I was sorry, all right?Copy !req
388. It's a cool campaign. It's really cool.Copy !req
389. - We're just not in the mood right now.
- Yeah, Mike. That's the problem.Copy !req
390. You guys are never in the mood anymore.Copy !req
391. - You're ruining our party.
- That's not true.Copy !req
392. Really? Where's Dustin right now?Copy !req
393. See? You don't know
and you don't even care.Copy !req
394. And obviously he doesn't either
and I don't blame him.Copy !req
395. You're destroying everything,
and for what?Copy !req
396. So you can swap spit
with some stupid girl?Copy !req
397. El's not stupid.Copy !req
398. It's not my fault you don't like girls.Copy !req
399. I'm not trying to be a jerk. Okay?Copy !req
400. But we're not kids anymore.Copy !req
401. I mean, what did you think, really?Copy !req
402. That we were never gonna get girlfriends?Copy !req
403. We were just gonna sit
in my basement all dayCopy !req
404. and play games for the rest of our lives?Copy !req
405. Yeah.Copy !req
406. I guess I did.Copy !req
407. I really did.Copy !req
408. Will.Copy !req
409. Will!Copy !req
410. Will, come on!Copy !req
411. Excuse me.Copy !req
412. No one in the water
until 30 minutes after the last strike.Copy !req
413. And don't try and argue with me.Copy !req
414. You wanna get electrocuted,
go climb a tree.Copy !req
415. Yeah, we don't care.
We're not here to swim.Copy !req
416. Or get electrocuted.Copy !req
417. We found this.Copy !req
418. Does that belong to anybody?Copy !req
419. Oh, yeah.Copy !req
420. That's Heather's.Copy !req
421. I'll get it back to her.Copy !req
422. We could give it back to her.Copy !req
423. You could.Copy !req
424. 'Cept she's not here.Copy !req
425. Bailed on me today.Copy !req
426. What is this?Copy !req
427. You girls want a reward or somethin'?Copy !req
428. No.Copy !req
429. We're just...Copy !req
430. Good Samaritans.Copy !req
431. Heather.Copy !req
432. Do you think you can find her?Copy !req
