1. 1x21 - "Joking Victim"

2. Hey, Steven! Do you want to try some special,

3. - new french fries? - Do I?

4. - Hooooot! - They're "special"

5. because they're seasoned with fire salt!

6. Steven, what are you ... Ow!

7. Sowwy, Lars.

8. Ugh. Steven, who do you think has to clean up this mess?

9. - Sadie, clean up this mess. - No way! It's your turn!

10. - I cleaned the last five Stevens! - Aw, come on!

11. That fall messed up my back! It hurts really bad.

12. Fine. Move aside. I'll take care of this. Can you grab the soap?

13. Ohh! It hurts so much!

14. Maybe you should take the day off.

15. - Okay! You gonna be fine on your own? - Well, I guess so, but...

16. - You're the best, player 2! - Aww.

17. - Uh, I can't run this place by myself! - I could help!

18. This place has given me so many delicious donuts.

19. - It's time I gave back. - I hereby deputize you as "Lars for the day."

20. - Now, it's time I showed you the employee room. - Whoa.

21. This is the most magical place I've ever seen!

22. Let me give you the tour. These are the extra supplies,

23. cups, plastic silverware. Sometimes I sleep on the napkins

24. - when I get tired. - Is that why they're called nap-kins?

25. Not really, no. Good joke, though.

26. On breaks, we chill out here. We can even watch tv!

27. Sometimes, Lars will cover for me so I can watch "canine court."

28. And now, most important of all, this is where we store the donuts.

29. They're mailed in from some corporate bake-station.

30. - You mean you don't make them here? - No, not since... the accident.

31. Now, Steven, this job is a big responsibility, so you're gonna

32. - have to watch this videotape. - What is it?

33. It's like a dvd shaped like a box, and it'll tell you

34. everything you need to know.

35. Mr. Smiley used to work here?

36. No, but he used to be an actor/R&B singer.

37. That was great! Are all videotapes that informative?

38. In my experience, yeah. It started out as just a summer

39. job, but that was two summers ago.

40. Hmm. I'll have a...

41. Wow. I can't believe you used

42. - to be a real actor/R&B singer. - "Used to be"?

43. - Kids, they don't know anything. - Wow, I'm impressed!

44. Last time someone mentioned that

45. song, we couldn't get Mr. Smiley to go home.

46. Aww, thanks! Maybe I should phone up Lars,

47. tell him he can stay home 'cause I found his replacement!

48. - Really? - Oh. No, th-that was a joke.

49. I know we both love Lars...

50. but this job is the best thing that's ever happened to

51. - me, and we should fire Lars. - We can't "fire Lars."

52. - Why not? - Well, you know, I mean, he

53. may do things like come in late and leave all the

54. really hard work for me, but ... look, I like Lars!

55. He ... he's a nice guy... Once you get to know him.

56. There was this one time ... the new "army of war" game was coming out.

57. But Lars was banned from the only place selling it.

58. He wanted it so bad!

59. So who does he beg to stand in line for seven hours?

60. Me! I didn't think much of it.

61. When I got to his house, I saw he cleaned up his room

62. a little, and he got a big box of oyster crackers.

63. They're my favorite.

64. He let me be his "player 2," and

65. - we spent the whole night together. - That really is nice.

66. - Must've been one great video game! - Yeah, it was.

67. Maybe we could do something nice for Lars.

68. I-I thought you wanted this to be a surprise!

69. He would hear us a mile away!

70. But the donut fever's fried my soul! Huh?

71. Aw, he already ordered pizza!

72. Huh?

73. - Do a flip! - Oh, yeah!

74. Hey, Lars, thanks for inviting us over.

75. It's no problem... 'cause I got the whole day off

76. by faking a severe back injury!

77. Ugh! He was faking this whole ...

78. Uh, don't worry! We can handle the big donut!

79. Who needs crummy, old Lars?

80. Steven, he's made a fool of me!

81. Idiot! He's burned me before.

82. Just once, I'd like to burn him back!

83. I know how to burn people!

84. Wait right here. Actually, this might take a while.

85. You'd better go home. See you tomorrow at wo-o-o-rk!

86. - Fire salt! - Huh?

87. Burn! Burn people!

88. You know we can't add anything to the donuts!

89. It's just a little fire salt. I was going to prank Lars.

90. He did really hurt my feelings... a little.

91. But what kind of person does that

92. make you if you try to hurt him back?

93. A... hero?

94. My back! Sadie, I finally got out of bed,

95. but I don't think I can work today either.

96. Sadie, don't make me walk

97. all the way to the break room!

98. Sadie... This is gonna be so funny!

99. Yo, Sadie, where you at? Are you slacking off?

100. - Lars. - Hi, Lars!

101. - Why is Steven in a donut suit? - Don't worry about that.

102. - How's your back? - Uh, actually, it still hurts like ...

103. - Really. - No, no, it's cool. I know I can

104. - count on you to help, "P" 2. - Sure. Just relax. In fact...

105. - Why don't you have a donut? - Yeah, all right.

106. Careful. It's a little hot.

107. Hey, this is pretty good.

108. This a new flavor or something?

109. She said ... she said it's hot!

110. - Steven, help Lars! - Uh, Lars, drink this!

111. No! Lars, come back!

112. - Steven, I didn't want this! - I know how to fix this!

113. We just need to get Lars to calm down.

114. How are we gonna find him?

115. I think he went this way!

116. And of the many treasures in our wonderful

117. city, this is certainly one of the sweetest.

118. As mayor, I'm proud to unveil this ...

119. the largest bowl of ice cream in Beach County!

120. Yes, let's all scream... for ice cream.

121. Yeah. It melted, Gary!

122. Well, you should have said that at the meeting!

123. - Amethyst! - Hey, why's donut guy breathing fire?

124. I tried to prank Lars, but I used too much fire salt!

125. Steven... That's hilarious.

126. You... did... this... to me?

127. It wasn't Steven!

128. - It was me. - Oh, now it's gettin' good!

129. After all I do for you,

130. you lie to me so you can sneak off

131. - with some other girl? - And other boys!

132. That night we played video games, I don't know what it

133. meant to you, but ever since then, I can't get the thought out

134. of my head that you're a good person.

135. That night I really thought ...

136. "player 2" ... is that just your way of saying I could

137. - have been anyone? - Sadi...

138. Another day saved by Steven Universe, with the

139. bonus musical stylings of Harold Smiley. You're welcome!

140. - I'm not apologizing. - Uh, no! I want to help!

141. - But I get it if you want to be alone. - Oh, no, no, no! Stay.

142. I-I mean, you can help. But first, let's get you some

143. water, and maybe get you out of those burnt shirts.

144. Hey, we make a pretty great team.

145. You were absolutely no help whatsoever.

146. Eh.
