15. Oh, man!

16. Stop! Stop them!

18. almost like he'd never been on a date before.

19. He's a widower. He's been out of practice, V.

23. when we all go out to dinner.

24. I'm tellin' you, Rich, this whole pops dating thing

25. is too weird for words.

26. Sorry, man. My bad.

27. Watch where you walk, dreadhead.

28. I said I was sorry.

29. Oh, you wanna throw, huh?

30. Ahem, Royce.

31. You just caught a break, Virgil.

32. Eh, I can see the yearbook now

33. "Royce Axelrod, most likely to be sent upstate."

34. 'You've known for over a week'

35. 'that Trina's coming over, Virgil'

41. Gotta find a place to change.

42. What's in there?

43. Let's pop the top and find out.

44. - Whoa! - Holy cannoli.

45. Yeah. What you said.

46. What's this purple stuff?

47. Don't know, but I bet we can turn it into green.

48. Know what I'm sayin', Frankie?

49. Hey, gotta blow.

50. They're gone, and so are we.

51. We've been up and down these alleys, Jessup.

52. Nothin'.

53. Jessup?

54. He's got a backpack.

55. Excuse me, son.

56. What are you doing here?

57. Ah, nothin'.

58. Just takin' a shortcut home.

59. Mind if we take a look inside your backpack?

60. What? What? I didn't do anything!

61. No one said you did. It's just a precaution.

62. A precaution, huh?

63. Um, well..

64. - Huh? - What the..

65. Hey!

66. Stop!

67. Hey, kid, get back here!

68. What did you just do, Virgil?

69. You know what you did.

71. It's gettin' there!

72. Who needs a cleanin' service?

73. Buck up, sis. At least we're goin' out to dinner.

74. You can burn our grub tomorrow.

75. - Not now, Virgil. - What's with you?

76. Don't you care that dad's acting all weird lately?

77. This Trina woman is turning things upside-down around here.

78. The man's singing Motown!

79. Come on, if this lady makes pops happy

80. I say that's a good thing.

81. Oh, boy, must be Trina. She's off work early.

82. - What does she do anyway? - She's a cop.

83. - Hi, honey. - Hello, Robert.

84. Let me introduce you to my kids.

85. Sharon, this is Trina.

86. This is my son Virgil.

87. I believe we've already met.

88. Oh.

89. Running away from the police?

90. Now, I know I've raised you better than that, Virgil.

91. What you did was not only stupid and dangerous

92. 'but completely inexcusable!'

93. - 'But, dad—' - 'Get in your room right now!'

94. So, your father tells me you love college.

95. It's okay.

96. Such an exciting time.

97. - I guess. - Look at me!

98. Just tell me why you did it.

99. I-I don't know. I just got scared. That's all.

100. That's not acceptable.

101. Your backpack, I wanna see it, now!

102. You wanna make it even harder on yourself?

103. - Fine! - Pops, don't..

104. crash

105. I'm gonna go cool off.

106. You're beyond grounded.

107. School, home, that's it!

108. And clean up this room!

109. I've never been on a lockdown this severe, Rich.

110. He even made me cut out afterschool activities.

111. Aw, man! Does he know we have talent show rehearsal tonight?

112. Not the activity I was talkin' about.

113. My other late-night gig.

114. The bad guys are gonna run buck wild

115. and Static can't do anything to stop 'em!

116. 'Oh, yeah. I guess that's bad, too.'

117. Do you think it's safe to stash that here?

118. Shut it, Frankie. You know I can't keep it at home.

119. Ever since that shoplifting thing

120. my mom's been on the lookout for stuff that don't belong to me.

121. Besides, I found these papers inside

122. some code about the purple stuff

123. and guess who's staying after school to study it?

124. Gee, I haven't a clue.

125. Did you hear? Frieda and Daisy are gonna do karaoke

126. at the talent show to Destiny's Child.

127. Who they gettin' for the third singer?

128. Well, V, since you dropped out

129. I had to hook up with somebody.

130. Uh-oh.

131. I'm on my way home, Officer Jessup, honest.

132. I just wanna talk, Virgil.

133. You were there last night.

134. My pops told me to go straight home.

135. I cleared this with your father, okay?

136. And I thought last night was awful.

137. Guess we look like quite an odd couple, huh?

138. Slightly.

139. Well, forget about them right now.

140. I need to talk about why we stopped you.

141. What I'm about to tell you is not for broadcast, okay?

142. You know what the Big Bang is, right?

143. I've heard about it, yeah.

144. Well, two kids about your age stole a metal case

145. which contains the Big Bang formula

146. in a highly concentrated liquid.

147. 'The case was being delivered to scientists for study.'

148. I've got 24 hours to find it.

149. That's 3 o'clock tomorrow.

150. What happens if you don't find it?

151. It's combustible.

152. The liquid will turn into gas.

153. More bang babies?

154. - Double the mutations at least. - Whoa.

155. Virgil, if there's anything you know, anything at all—

156. Wait a sec.

157. You still think I had something to do with this?

158. You were in that part of town. You fit the description.

159. I told you, I'm innocent.

160. I had nothin' to do with it!

161. Why won't you believe me?

162. You ran away from me, Virgil.

163. What am I supposed to think?

164. Can I go now?

165. If you want. Just take my card.

166. 'I insist.'

167. Look at it, Frankie, my man

168. same lab, same research team, same compounds.

169. It's the mother lode.

170. We got ourselves Big Bang superjuice.

171. I-I don't know about this, Royce.

172. What are you talkin' about?

173. This is the stuff, man.

174. Remember what it did to F-Stop?

175. Think of the powers it'll give us.

176. Royce!

177. - Hey, back off, jerk! - 'Royce, come on!'

178. 'Hello? Somebody in there?'

179. 'Open up!'

180. Great.

181. Hey, Mr. Landry. Just checkin' out the net.

182. The computer lab is closed, boys.

183. 'Yeah, Frankie. I told you it was too late.'

184. beep

185. Oh, man, in less than 21 hours

186. Big Bang The Sequel.

187. 'I'm sorry, Robert.'

188. But I think I only made things worse with Virgil.

189. I know he's a good kid, and maybe he is telling the truth

190. 'but my cop's intuition says'

191. 'he's still keepin' somethin' from me.'

192. You got that right, lady.

193. Look, Virgil's at that age—

194. It's not just Virgil.

195. I've gotten off on the wrong foot with Sharon, too.

196. Maybe we should slow things down.

197. Let's not go into that again.

198. Don't you see, Robert? It's just too complicated.

199. You know I adore you. I truly do.

200. The last thing I want is to come between you and your kids.

201. Trina.

202. Take care of yourself.

203. - Yeah? - V!

204. We got a little pest-control problem at school.

205. You gotta get down here!

206. Dude, I'm grounded, remember?

207. Oh, yeah? Well, listen to this.

208. Back! Back!

209. Where is a can of bug spray when you need it?

210. Static's bug-zapping service reporting for duty.

211. Ah!

212. Chew on that, Roachie.

213. It's from outside.

214. If I don't hurry, I'm gonna be a superhero sandwich.

215. Hey, eight-leg, I'm over here!

216. clank clank

217. Yes!

218. Nice job holdin' down the fort, Rich.

219. Yeah. Thanks.

220. How did this thing get supersized anyway?

221. It's been Big-Bangafied.

222. And if I don't find a certain metal briefcase and fast

223. this is just the tip of the iceberg, bro.

224. I can't stand this, daddy!

225. I'm sorry you two broke up

226. but it was just so weird seeing you with her.

227. You've made that abundantly clear.

228. - Both of you. - Pops, all we—

229. For a long time now, you two have been tellin' me

230. it's time I got back out there

231. that mom would want it that way.

232. 'But when I finally find someone I like'

233. this is how you treat her.

234. Look, no one will replace your mother.

235. But I have a life, and I'm gonna live it.

236. 'You can accept that or not!'

237. I-I've been thinkin', Royce, about the juice.

238. Yeah, it gives powers, but it also makes freaks, too

239. and we should..

240. Talkin' to yourself again, Frankie?

241. Royce, you, you look..

242. - Bigger, huh? - Whoa!

243. And that's after only smellin' the juice.

244. Just think of what'll happen when I drink some.

245. Later, loser. Much later.

246. Mr. Hawkins, you'll be free to go in 15 minutes.

247. But now, the history exam should be your only worry.

248. I wish.

249. Ah!

250. Royce..

251. He used that stolen Big Bang stuff, didn't he?

252. Don't know what you're talkin' about.

253. You've gotta tell me where it is

254. or they're gonna rename this place, Metahuman High.

255. Okay! Okay.

256. Everybody out!

257. This is not a drill!

258. - Jessup. - Trina, it's Virgil.

259. The Big Bang juice is here.

260. Yeah, Dakota Union High.

261. We're on our way.

262. You get out of there, now.

263. Yes, ma'am.

264. Soon as I can.

265. Now for the hard part.

266. Yeah!

267. boom

268. Royce?

269. Guh!

270. It's gonna be okay, man.

271. - Let me help you. - Eh?

272. Stay here. I gotta help my partner.

273. Ooh!

274. Care to take this outside, Royce?

275. Static, you got him!

276. Yeah.

277. 'He's in good hands now.'

278. Thanks for having my back, officer.

279. No problem. Thank you.

280. For heroism above and beyond the call of duty

281. the Dakota Police Department is proud to honor

282. 'officers Trina Jessup and Ken Garcia'

283. 'and a special citation to Virgil Hawkins'

284. 'for his quick actions'

285. 'in getting his fellow students to safety.'

286. Congratulations, Trina.

287. To think I almost gave up on us.

288. Hey, you're not gettin' rid of me that easily now.

289. Um, I just, uh..

290. Thanks for bein' a good cop.

291. Thank you, Sharon.

292. Hey, pops! Aren't you proud of me?

293. Of course I am, son.

294. And you're still grounded.

295. Well, if we're all ready

296. we've got a table waiting for us at Get Your Grub On!

297. Sorry about that.

298. Well, bein' at home's not too bad

299. when you feel the love.
