2. They are open already.
Your hands are still in way.Copy !req
3. - Oh. My bad.
- (gasps)Copy !req
4. You have brought me to cornball game?Copy !req
5. And front-row seats?Copy !req
6. Not just any front-row seats.
You, my friend,Copy !req
7. are the personal guest
of Queen Eclipsa herself.Copy !req
8. Hi! Have you seen my baby?Copy !req
9. Eclipsa, this is Buff Frog.Copy !req
10. Very nice to meet you. Sweetie!Copy !req
11. Sweetie, come back to Mommy!Copy !req
12. So... cornball!Copy !req
13. The greatest sport.
Brings together families.Copy !req
14. Star Butterfly, what are you planning?Copy !req
15. Nothing.Copy !req
16. I'm just really excited to
watch this game with you...Copy !req
17. and... maybe convince you
to come back to Mewni.Copy !req
18. Why would cornball game do that?Copy !req
19. Because, Buff Frog,
this isn't just any cornball game.Copy !req
20. For the first time,
Mewmans and monsters will play together.Copy !req
21. You mean against each other.Copy !req
22. Oh, no, no, no, no. With each other!Copy !req
23. This is the first-ever integrated match.Copy !req
24. Monsters and Mewmans
working together on the same teams!Copy !req
25. That is terrible idea!Copy !req
26. Okay, okay. Okay, just hear me out.Copy !req
27. I know things were bad when you left.Copy !req
28. Like, really super, super bad.Copy !req
29. But things have changed.Copy !req
30. Thanks to Eclipsa, monsters
and Mewmans are totally equal now.Copy !req
31. Just because things have changed
does not mean they are better.Copy !req
32. Look, I know this is a lot to take in,Copy !req
33. but can you please just
give this game a chance?Copy !req
34. For me?Copy !req
35. Hmm.Copy !req
36. All right, Star Butterfly. For you.Copy !req
37. Anyway, I cannot turn down
a free cornball game.Copy !req
38. But beside all that,
how did you even track me down?Copy !req
39. I am master spy and made sure
we were untraceable.Copy !req
40. - I have my ways.
- (croaking)Copy !req
41. - (croaking)
- Whoa! Huh?Copy !req
42. - (croaking)
- Whoa! Ooh!Copy !req
43. (slurping) Hi!Copy !req
44. I'm so excited to see
my first cornball game!Copy !req
45. Katrina, did you tell Star
where we were hiding?Copy !req
46. What did I say about
being master spy?Copy !req
47. You cannot let anyone know
what you are doing.Copy !req
48. Just like how you had no ideaCopy !req
49. I was still in contact
with Star on a daily basis?Copy !req
50. One day, she will surpass me.Copy !req
51. I am so proud.Copy !req
52. (Kelly over PA)
Welcome to the first-everCopy !req
53. monster and Mewman cornball game.Copy !req
54. It's starting!Copy !req
55. We are so glad
you could all join us todayCopy !req
56. for the greatest game!Copy !req
57. Whoo-hoo! Cornball! Yeah!Copy !req
58. Ow! That's so loud!Copy !req
59. (chuckles) Sorry, dude.
I am just so hyped!Copy !req
60. Hey, nothing wrong with that.
I just wish I understood the rules.Copy !req
61. Mm, don't worry. I got you covered.Copy !req
62. Okay, so that's Selena Fortune,
Mewni's number-one cob-kicker.Copy !req
63. - Mm-hmm.
- Bleck Drockman,Copy !req
64. - the MCL's top stickler!
- Stick, uh, what?Copy !req
65. Yeah. The Cassidy Brothers,Copy !req
66. they are an unstoppable
moat guardian combo.Copy !req
67. Huh?Copy !req
68. That's Midfield husker Danny Doom,
but that's just a nickname.Copy !req
69. Wait. And new
up-and-comer Blabby FrontFaws.Copy !req
70. Oh, yeah.Copy !req
71. But those are just player names.Copy !req
72. I don't know what they actually do.Copy !req
73. Hmm. Oh! I know.Copy !req
74. I have an expanded
limited collector editionCopy !req
75. of the original rules
and... (grunts) regulationsCopy !req
76. - It'll clear everything up.
- This is big. (groans, exclaims)Copy !req
77. Do you need any help?Copy !req
78. Nah, girl.
I'm super good at books.Copy !req
79. Uh, you don't have to
stay here either.Copy !req
80. You could go sit with Star
if you want.Copy !req
81. No, that's okay. We just got doneCopy !req
82. with this whole drama
with the Blood Moon Ball.Copy !req
83. It's kind of a long story, but...Copy !req
84. If you came here
to see some cornball,Copy !req
85. - let me hear you scream!
- (crowd roars)Copy !req
86. Oh, sorry, Marco. (chuckles)Copy !req
87. I'm kind of in, like,
professional mode when I work, yeah.Copy !req
88. Uh, were you saying something?Copy !req
89. Nah, it's not important.
You do your thing.Copy !req
90. I'll go grab us some snacks and, uh...Copy !req
91. (grunts) skim through the rule book.Copy !req
92. Sounds good, breakup buddy.Copy !req
93. What up, sports fans?
It is time to pick teams.Copy !req
94. Today's captain for the purple team
is Bleck Drockman,Copy !req
95. and for the red team,
Jason Sheffield.Copy !req
96. Aw, yes. This is where
the magic happens.Copy !req
97. I'm so excited!Copy !req
98. - Let's not get hopes up.
- Shh! Let them concentrate.Copy !req
99. And first pick for Bleck is...
Blabby FrontFaws.Copy !req
100. Bleck is going for an aggressive offense
with the up-and-coming rookie.Copy !req
101. So, monster picks monster.Copy !req
102. Oh, it's just the first pick.Copy !req
103. I mean, come on.
Look at that guy. He's built like a tank.Copy !req
104. And Jason goes for Selena.Copy !req
105. Selena is known for preferring
a low-scoring game.Copy !req
106. And Mewman pick Mewman.Copy !req
107. Yeah. (nervous chuckle)Copy !req
108. And Bleck's turn. Back to Jason.Copy !req
109. Bleck again. Now Jason.Copy !req
110. Now Bleck. Back to Jason.Copy !req
111. It looks like old alliances hold strong
on the field today, folks.Copy !req
112. Oh, come on! What are you doing?Copy !req
113. You guys notice anything?
This is supposed to beCopy !req
114. an integrated exhibition match,Copy !req
115. but you're the super opposite
of that right now.Copy !req
116. Come on! Time to mix it up, guys!Copy !req
117. It is not going to be working, Star.Copy !req
118. I don't get it. Is this part of the game?Copy !req
119. - No.
- Hmm...Copy !req
120. This is gonna ruin everything.Copy !req
121. Eclipsa! What should we do?Copy !req
122. - Oh. Well, perhaps we should—
- (snarls)Copy !req
123. Popcorn.
Get your popcorn. (crying out)Copy !req
124. Sweetie, what did Mommy sayCopy !req
125. about preying on those
weaker than you?Copy !req
126. I just want to watch them play.Copy !req
127. - Hey, uh, want to see something cool?
- Yeah.Copy !req
128. I just got a brand-new cornball.
Want to go test it out?Copy !req
129. Yeah!Copy !req
130. Come on! This can't be that hard!Copy !req
131. You guys have so much in common!Copy !req
132. Like what, even?Copy !req
133. Uh, what about...Copy !req
134. monsters and Mewmans
both love cornball.Copy !req
135. She's right.Copy !req
136. (man) But Mewmans
love cornball way more!Copy !req
137. In fact, Mewmans
love cornball so much, we invented it.Copy !req
138. Hey, even if that were true,Copy !req
139. which it's not,
monsters perfected cornball!Copy !req
140. (man) Why don't you come here
and say that to my face?Copy !req
141. I am not liking this vibe.Copy !req
142. (seethes) They are ruining
the spirit of cornball!Copy !req
143. Hey, got you a cornshake.Copy !req
144. No time for cornshakes, Marco!
I got to go save cornball!Copy !req
145. Hey, uh, wait.
Wh-Who's gonna announce?Copy !req
146. Oh, yeah. Uh, cover for me, okay?Copy !req
147. If you have any questions,
check the manual.Copy !req
148. Right. Just check the manual.Copy !req
149. Chapter one...Copy !req
150. The first-ever cornball players
were Mewman. That's a fact.Copy !req
151. Oh, yeah?
Where did you read that?Copy !req
152. A Mewman history book?Copy !req
153. - Hey, you want to come too?
- Come where?Copy !req
154. - To... (whispering)
- Wow! Really?Copy !req
155. Yeah! Follow me!Copy !req
156. Oh, come on.Copy !req
157. Guys, guys, cut it out!Copy !req
158. Magic bubble double diffusion!Copy !req
159. - What's happening?
- Whatever's going on is your fault!Copy !req
160. - (crowd boos)
- (Star) You guys need to cool it!Copy !req
161. Would it really kill you to
just give each other a chance?Copy !req
162. The only thing I'm giving this guy
is a piece of my mind!Copy !req
163. Yeah. Forget cornball.
Let's settle this the old-fashioned way!Copy !req
164. (all chanting) Fight, fight, fight!Copy !req
165. - Guys...
- Do not bother, Star.Copy !req
166. It was good for you to be trying,Copy !req
167. but I knew Mewni was
not ready for this kind of thing.Copy !req
168. No, no, no.
I know things look bad now,Copy !req
169. but we can't give up yet.Copy !req
170. Eclipsa, Show Buff FrogCopy !req
171. how much you care about
monster-Mewman unity.Copy !req
172. What? Oh, I'm sorry, dear.Copy !req
173. I'm afraid I'm still looking for Meteora.Copy !req
174. I don't want her running off on her own
if a brawl breaks out.Copy !req
175. Yes. This place is no longer
safe for the children.Copy !req
176. It is time for me to leave.Copy !req
177. - But, Buff Frog—
- But, nothing.Copy !req
178. I refuse to put my family in danger.Copy !req
179. Katrina, Buff children,Copy !req
180. - we leave now.
- 'Sup, Dad?Copy !req
181. Alexi, Anya, where are
your brothers and sisters?Copy !req
182. - At the cornball game.
- What? Where?Copy !req
183. Not that game. The other game.Copy !req
184. Yeah, the actually fun one.Copy !req
185. The other game?Copy !req
186. - Wow.
- Whoa!Copy !req
187. - Hey, over here!
- (chuckles)Copy !req
188. They're playing... cornball.Copy !req
189. (Marco) Okay, okay, so-so if a kickerCopy !req
190. kicks with his left leg
and scores, that's three points.Copy !req
191. But if it's raining on a Tuesday,
then that's four points.Copy !req
192. - I get it! It's so simple!
- (kids exclaiming)Copy !req
193. Huh? What?
Where's that coming from?Copy !req
194. (screams) The game's over here now?Copy !req
195. Aw! How did I miss this?
All right, uh...Copy !req
196. And they're off! The red team's
hitting the offense hard with a classic,Copy !req
197. uh, creepy crop circle formation.Copy !req
198. And the game's really
starting to heat up, folks.Copy !req
199. Team red's going all in
with the beanbag blitz.Copy !req
200. Team purple counters
with a hula hoop hustle.Copy !req
201. Hey, they made my Jeanie
third kick smith.Copy !req
202. That's cute.
They made my kid first kick smith.Copy !req
203. (gasps) There you are.Copy !req
204. Well, all's well that ends well.Copy !req
205. Jordie, smile for Mommy.Copy !req
206. Go get 'em, Lexxy!Copy !req
207. (Marco)
Here come the huckster hurdles.Copy !req
208. They're clearing one, two, three.
They nailed it!Copy !req
209. Got some great
monster-Mewman teamwork here.Copy !req
210. Hey, your kids got moves.Copy !req
211. We've got some air time— Nope!Copy !req
212. Interception by the moat guardian!Copy !req
213. And he's tossing
to his tenth baseman!Copy !req
214. This is for you David.
I'll always love you!Copy !req
215. - (whistle blows)
- Wait. What's going on here?Copy !req
216. Oh. That's rule 23:
no shout-outs to exes on the field.Copy !req
217. Oh, yeah. That makes
no sense at all.Copy !req
218. - And it's the final play?
- What?Copy !req
219. One more cross-field goal
could mean...Copy !req
220. Katrina steals the ball!Copy !req
221. Looks like team red has it
in the bag, folks.Copy !req
222. (Kelly) Katrina's bookin' it
towards the goal!Copy !req
223. She's got a clear shot!
She's going for it!Copy !req
224. It is a corn... in... the... hole!Copy !req
225. What does that mean?Copy !req
226. It means they just scored
15 points! They won!Copy !req
227. Fifteen points?
What kind of rule is—Copy !req
228. You know what? I give up.Copy !req
229. - Good game.
- It was so much fun.Copy !req
230. - That was awesome!
- Great job!Copy !req
231. Yeah, we should do it again.Copy !req
232. Hey, your kid played
a pretty amazing game.Copy !req
233. And your kid's got quite
the kick... for a monster.Copy !req
234. - What did you say?
- Oh, come on.Copy !req
235. You people get offended
by anything!Copy !req
236. I'm not just gonna stand here
while you belittle...Copy !req
237. And... we're back to this.Copy !req
238. Hey, Katrina, everything okay?Copy !req
239. Yeah. I just wish we could've won.Copy !req
240. Guess we will need rematch.Copy !req
241. But cornball
is only played on Mewni.Copy !req
242. Then I guess we will have to stay.Copy !req
243. - What?
- What? Thanks, Dad!Copy !req
244. Buff Frog, are you serious?Copy !req
245. I still have doubts,Copy !req
246. but this game has filled me
with hope.Copy !req
247. I'm gonna go tell everyone!Copy !req
248. But the adults are still
angry with each other.Copy !req
249. (scoffs)
Our generation is garbage.Copy !req
250. - But the little ones...
- (giggles)Copy !req
251. they might turn out okay.Copy !req
252. Coo. Coo.Copy !req
253. Coo coo coo.Copy !req
254. Coo-coo!Copy !req
255. Is-Is this a bad time?Copy !req
256. Oh, Janna. (chuckles)Copy !req
257. You'll have to pardon me.Copy !req
258. I'm just brushing up on my pigeonCopy !req
259. for the dinner party tonight
with the rich pigeons.Copy !req
260. Thank you for offering to babysit.Copy !req
261. Hey, anything for
the Queen of Darkness.Copy !req
262. I would've asked M-A-R-C-O,Copy !req
263. but I get the sense
she doesn't like him very much.Copy !req
264. Yeah, who can blame her? Marco!Copy !req
265. (chuckles) Exactly.Copy !req
266. Ooh. She really does
take after her father, doesn't she?Copy !req
267. You be good, my darling.Copy !req
268. I'll be back by 8:00.Copy !req
269. If you're not,
I charge double for overtime.Copy !req
270. Well, let the babysitting begin.Copy !req
271. - (Glossaryck) Psst! Meteora.
- Hmm?Copy !req
272. Down here.Copy !req
273. Hello, Princess.Copy !req
274. Oh, geez.Copy !req
275. You would not believe
the day I've had today.Copy !req
276. Oh! Oh, yeah, yeah. My arm.Copy !req
277. Just a little boo-boo.
Nothing to really worry about.Copy !req
278. Oh, no, no, no. Don't cry.Copy !req
279. Your buddy Glossaryck's okay.
Look. Look.Copy !req
280. I've got another arm.
Plus I've got a silly hat.Copy !req
281. Now, as your guide
to all magical matters,Copy !req
282. are you ready to continue
our lessons?Copy !req
283. - (exclaims happily)
- Have you been practicingCopy !req
284. the "dip down" exercises I taught you?Copy !req
285. Dee-daa!Copy !req
286. No, no. A little longer
and a little louder.Copy !req
287. Di-i-i-i-i-i...Copy !req
288. No, no, no. That-That's all wrong.Copy !req
289. It's just "dip down."
Two short words.Copy !req
290. Di-i-i-i-i-i...Copy !req
291. No. Now-Now you're
just getting louder.Copy !req
292. No, no. No, no, no, no, no.Copy !req
293. I know how much joy this brings you.Copy !req
294. Let's get going.Copy !req
295. Wait. Wait!
Don't go in there without me.Copy !req
296. Oh! Triple burger bonus! Yes!Copy !req
297. Welcome...Copy !req
298. to the Plains of Time.Copy !req
299. To complete your lesson,
we got to go back in time.Copy !req
300. And we need Father Time for that.Copy !req
301. Oh, yes. Yes, yes.
I can go back in time.Copy !req
302. But I can't take
a passenger with me.Copy !req
303. That's why we need Father Time.Copy !req
304. Where is he?Copy !req
305. Yes, of course I knew
he wasn't going to be here.Copy !req
306. If he was here,
it would've been easy,Copy !req
307. and you wouldn't learn anything.Copy !req
308. Um, sure, there's
another way to time travel.Copy !req
309. I just, uh...Copy !req
310. I really don't want to see
Reynaldo today.Copy !req
311. Reynaldo the Baldpate,Copy !req
312. ferryman of the River of Time.Copy !req
313. Uh... Okay.Copy !req
314. Let's just get it over with.Copy !req
315. Look, look, he's gonna talk and stuff.Copy !req
316. Uh, just... don't interact, okay?Copy !req
317. All right, Meteora, pull up a seat.Copy !req
318. This might take a while. Sometimes—Copy !req
319. (cries out) You know what?Copy !req
320. Never mind! He's here!Copy !req
321. (Reynaldo)
For passage through my timely sea,Copy !req
322. this question you must answer me.Copy !req
323. Who speaks in rhyme
and wanders timeCopy !req
324. with none to call his family?Copy !req
325. No phone calls, cards or—Copy !req
326. Thank you, Reynaldo.
Please be quiet. Just,Copy !req
327. we're in a hurry,
and we need to get going.Copy !req
328. What doth bring you to my land?Copy !req
329. A passage through time,
swift and grand?Copy !req
330. Up-bup-bup-bup!
We don't have time for riddles today.Copy !req
331. Princess Meteora and I
need to go back.Copy !req
332. An inch, a pinch, the years unravel.Copy !req
333. How far dost thou wish to travel?Copy !req
334. The length of something
short and flat,Copy !req
335. - or perhaps something—
- We just need to go...Copy !req
336. to the Age of Butterflies.Copy !req
337. With haste we must depart this placeCopy !req
338. and skim the flow of time and space.Copy !req
339. Away we go and briskly float.Copy !req
340. We ride, us three, upon a...Copy !req
341. Boat.Copy !req
342. And boom goes the dynamite.Copy !req
343. At this point, I don't even know
what you're getting out of this.Copy !req
344. What's dank and musky like a foot
and falls apart when overcooked?Copy !req
345. In soups and stews
this foulness lingers.Copy !req
346. If you must touch,
don't smell your fingers.Copy !req
347. Meteora, I really must apologize.Copy !req
348. Father Time's wheel
would've been so much fasterCopy !req
349. and less... Reynaldo.Copy !req
350. But why don't you practice
your "dip-down"Copy !req
351. while we're waiting?Copy !req
352. Dee-daa! (exclaims)Copy !req
353. Dee-daa! Dee-daa!Copy !req
354. Okay, that's good.Copy !req
355. But try it with more emotion.Copy !req
356. A-All right. You're getting closer.Copy !req
357. I can fill a room or just one heart.Copy !req
358. I cannot be shared, only apart.Copy !req
359. - What am I?
- Loneliness.Copy !req
360. Ah. You want to get back
on the Magical High Commission.Copy !req
361. - (whinnies)
- I don't think so, Reynaldo.Copy !req
362. The riddle thing, it's... Look.Copy !req
363. Just because I created the commission
doesn't mean they listen to me.Copy !req
364. You have arrived at the time you seek.Copy !req
365. Okay, great. Thank you!Copy !req
366. Come on. Let's go, Meteora.Copy !req
367. Bye... Dad.Copy !req
368. (groans) Oh, my goodness.Copy !req
369. They keep you well fed, don't they.Copy !req
370. All right. Are you ready for your lesson?Copy !req
371. 'Cause we're he... Oh, no.Copy !req
372. - Waa! Waa!
- Waa! Waa!Copy !req
373. Waa! Waa!Copy !req
374. Wh-Where are we?Copy !req
375. Who are we?Copy !req
376. (groans)
Reynaldo brought us back too far.Copy !req
377. Let's go, Meteora.Copy !req
378. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.Copy !req
379. Do you...Copy !req
380. Do you know who we are?Copy !req
381. Uh... yes.Copy !req
382. Can you help us?Copy !req
383. (groans) Fine.Copy !req
384. Let's just do the abbreviated
version here.Copy !req
385. A long time ago arrived
the first settlers of Mewni.Copy !req
386. That's you.Copy !req
387. - Wow!
- Whoa!Copy !req
388. A modest people with noble pursuits—Copy !req
389. life, liberty and... corn.Copy !req
390. The end.Copy !req
391. Oh.Copy !req
392. One more thing.
Mind if I borrow your rattle?Copy !req
393. Eenie, meenie, Mewni, moe.Copy !req
394. Okay, you, Moe. Here you go.Copy !req
395. Uh...Copy !req
396. Ooh!Copy !req
397. Congratulations!Copy !req
398. - You can do magic with that thing.
- Okay.Copy !req
399. Come on, Meteora.Copy !req
