Snowfall 6x2

1. Franklin walked with 3.4 million

2. in cash and product.

3. - How you want to handle it? - Told you

4. the gloves had to come off.

5. I didn't realize

6. that meant robbing your own family.

7. Call Jerome and Louie.

8. You tell them you made a mistake.

9. - Yes! - Jerome and Louie? This is done!

10. It was Louie.

11. I had a long talk with my bosses today,

12. and they want to see something now.

13. You mentioned the tunnel at the border.

14. I want to see it.

15. The longer we wait, the longer the chances

16. Teddy will disappear.

17. Tomorrow morning, 10:00 at the museum.

18. Bring Franklin with you.

19. Whoever did this to Avi,

20. they have my associate.

21. Please.

22. Fuck you.

23. I don't need sleep.

24. I need to find her.

25. What took you so long?

26. Fuck Teddy.

27. Fuck the CIA, and fuck the government

28. that supported them.

29. Now, are you with me, Saint?

30. - Or are you with them? - Where Franklin keeping my shit at?

31. We don't know.

32. - We don't know! - You tell me where my goddamn money is!

33. Stop fucking hitting her!

34. You tell Franklin that I did this,

35. and I ain't gonna stop till I get all that's mine.

36. Beverly, you're gonna be all right.

37. Beverly.

38. Parissa, do you copy?

39. Parissa, you copy?

40. Officer, hello.

41. I'm okay.

42. I'm okay, thank you. I'm okay.

43. Where are you headed?

44. I-I just— I'm trying to get home.

45. Officer, I-I'm trying to get home.

46. - Okay. Calm down. Just need you to... - I am calm.

47. Listen here, dumb motherfucker.

48. You weren't even there. It was in a bag.

49. It wasn't an open container.

50. Fucking let me out.

51. Are you fucking stupid?

52. Fucking let me out!

53. I want to get out!

54. Asshole!

55. When am I gonna fucking get out of here?

56. It was in a fucking bag!

57. Let me the fuck out! What is wrong with you?

58. Are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital?

59. No. I just want to sleep.

60. Do you have any idea who he is?

61. Mm-mm.

62. Before you ran, did you get a good look at him?

63. Oh, yes.

64. And you believed 'em?

65. If they knew, they'd have talked.

66. How ugly did it get?

67. I think I might've killed her.

68. WOMAN Nursing supervisor 6624.

69. Nursing supervisor 6624.

70. Hi, uh, I'm looking for Black— Um, Beverly Young.

71. Franklin.

72. Oh, shit.

73. Any word?

74. Big D and them did this?

75. Big D must've told him where we was gonna be.

76. Told who?

77. Jerome.

78. Ms. Ali?

79. Is she okay?

80. Her skull was fractured, and the blunt trauma had caused

81. extensive intracranial hemorrhaging.

82. We tried to stop the bleeding and relieve the pressure,

83. but I'm sorry.

84. - I'm sorry. - Get the fuck off me.

85. Fuck.

86. Hey, Mama.

87. Hey.

88. What, no watchdogs to frisk me?

89. What's going on?

90. Nothing.

91. Late night.

92. Franklin, look, if you're not ready to do this,

93. - then let's just pause. Let's... - It's fine. Let's go.

94. Wait, wait a second.

95. What's going on?

96. Where's your head?

97. Want some?

98. We should bring a dog next time. At least it'd smell better.

99. Woof.

100. Morning.

101. Amanda you know.

102. This is Oscar.

103. - They need to come with us? - Yes.

104. - Why? - Why?

105. Because maybe last night you're lying in bed,

106. start second-guessing your deal with the DEA.

107. Call some of your buddies,

108. tell 'em you're gonna bring an agent down to the tunnel,

109. and I get dragged off into the Mexican desert

110. never to be heard from again.

111. Now come on.

112. Morning.

113. How you feeling?

114. Like I have the worst hangover in history.

115. Did you make me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

116. You don't have a lot of food here.

117. Got you these, too.

118. Well, I think I have something stronger

119. in the medicine cabinet.

120. Gonna need you a little more alert than that.

121. Something we should do right now, if you're feeling up to it.

122. Okay.

123. Hey.

124. Leave it all out there. You understand?

125. Mm-hmm.

126. Here it is.

127. Franklin.

128. Franklin.

129. Pleasure to finally meet you.

130. - Cissy. - Hi.

131. Franklin and I are gonna go for a walk.

132. You mind watching my case?

133. Sure.

134. My moms used to bring me here all the time

135. when I was a kid.

136. Your mother has been incredibly brave through all of this.

137. Mm-hmm.

138. She blames the CIA for everything, you know.

139. Would do anything to get back at them.

140. What would you do, Franklin?

141. How long have you lived in this country?

142. A number of years now.

143. Can't be easy, right?

144. Living in a place that you hate.

145. Not knowing who you can trust.

146. I don't hate this country, Franklin.

147. But I do think it's criminal,

148. the hypocrisy of proclaiming devotion to freedom

149. while oppressing and murdering your own citizens.

150. And you want to expose that to the world.

151. Mm, I was under the impression you wanted that as well.

152. I want Teddy McDonald.

153. I want him alive.

154. I can deliver that to you.

155. But not until I have proof

156. that the CIA has been importing and selling cocaine

157. in the United States.

158. Is this something you can provide?

159. Look, if you're asking for pictures or him on tape,

160. then no, I don't.

161. What exactly do you need?

162. Ideally?

163. Some branch of your law enforcement arrests

164. CIA officers in possession of cocaine

165. and large amounts of cash.

166. No, no, I don't know where Teddy keeps his product.

167. But you two are still conducting deals, yes?

168. As of two days ago,

169. I'm no longer buying cocaine from Teddy.

170. But I do know who's taken my place as his main distributor.

171. My auntie and uncle.

172. Okay.

173. I need to know everything you can tell me

174. about Teddy and his operation.

175. How you met, your interactions,

176. things you saw, what you learned.

177. The full scope of your relationship.

178. Your son is as you described.

179. An impressive and serious young man.

180. Uh-huh.

181. We're good.

182. Hey.

183. Oh.

184. I know trust will not come easily,

185. but I'm hoping we can get there.

186. First time I met Teddy McDonald,

187. I was driving home from one of our rock houses.

188. He T-boned my car,

189. tased me,

190. and I woke up chained in a basement.

191. So, what else did you two talk about?

192. Everything he wanted to hear,

193. which also happens to be the truth.

194. What do you want, Franklin?

195. How do you want this to end?

196. I want my money back.

197. I want to marry V, want to have this baby.

198. I want the life I was so close to having

199. I could taste it until that motherfucker Teddy

200. ripped it away, that's what I want.

201. And you think fighting with Jerome and Louie

202. is gonna help you get any of that?

203. Anybody coming after me is in my way.

204. And I can't have that.

205. Ever occur to you

206. that this is exactly what Teddy wants?

207. For us to wipe each other out so he doesn't have to?

208. Just like they used to do

209. with the house and the field negroes,

210. and the light and the dark-skinned?

211. We destroy ourselves for them.

212. Look, even if I wanted to,

213. I don't think I can stop it now.

214. If I can help open up a door,

215. would you be willing to walk through it?

216. You and I are the only ones who have access to the accounts?

217. Yes, and you can start drawing on them at any time.

218. Good.

219. How's Dallas holding up?

220. I'm not sure.

221. Said I'd stop by later to check on her.

222. She's probably not good.

223. Black Diamond had a kid, right?

224. - Mm-hmm. - So, what happens now?

225. You hit them,

226. then we go round until everybody's dead?

227. My mother wants me to sit down with Jerome.

228. Talk it out.

229. Your mother's not wrong.

230. Yeah, it's me.

231. All right.

232. I'll be there in 30.

233. Kane's awake.

234. Wants to talk.

235. Sitting down with Jerome ain't gonna mean much

236. if you tell Kane how to kill him.

237. Listen, um...

238. thank you for taking care of this, V.

239. I love you.

240. You love me?

241. You want to stay thank you for what I just did for us?

242. Swallow your pride.

243. Listen to your mother and make peace with your family.

244. Okay?

245. Salut, maman.

246. Yo, he ain't happy.

247. No shit.

248. What happened to the warehouse?

249. Had rats!

250. - Shit had rats. - Jerome.

251. - What? - Nigga.

252. Who gives a fuck about the rats?

253. Everything's fine.

254. We just need a couple days to find a place to load the cars

255. and get you on your way.

256. Son's birthday is Saturday.

257. Promised he'd be back in St. Louis by then.

258. Here we go, this is what we gonna do.

259. Go up to Sunset, check into Chateau.

260. All right? Chill by the pool,

261. get yourself a drink, some pussy.

262. Enjoy yourself, all right?

263. We handle all that shit, get you back on your way.

264. That cool?

265. Mack's about family.

266. Ain't into all that.

267. Every nigga needs a little side snatch, right?

268. The fuck are you talking about?

269. 24 hours.

270. We'll have the cars, the carriers,

271. everything loaded, ready to go.

272. How the fuck we gonna find a new spot in 24 hours?

273. I don't know, get your side snatch to figure it out.

274. Oh, bullshit.

275. What?

276. Aw, hell nah.

277. You playing with me? Hmm?

278. They're your fucking family.

279. Telling me you don't know where they at?

280. They're staying in a hotel.

281. I just don't know which one.

282. You know, since the shootings,

283. they can't go back to the club, the warehouses.

284. I'm just saying, this shit ain't gonna be easy.

285. Ain't gonna be easy?

286. You know what ain't easy?

287. Not knowing if you ever gonna walk again,

288. if your fucking dick ever gonna work again.

289. Spending all day in this goddamn hospital bed,

290. doctors and your own people keeping shit from you.

291. But you telling me

292. where to find the bitch-ass motherfuckers that put me here,

293. that's the easiest shit in the fucking world, nigga!

294. You know, and I'm also hearing that

295. that cop who shot me maybe ain't a cop no more,

296. that we can touch his ass, too.

297. So find out where the fuck they are, Frankie,

298. or I'm-a start thinking that you're having second thoughts,

299. and that puts you on the wrong side of this shit,

300. where you don't want to be, nigga.

301. Teddy ever come down here? Take the drugs down personally?

302. Not anymore.

303. Make no mistake.

304. He's the prize, Gustavo.

305. One way or another, you're gonna help us get him.

306. Vamos.

307. Teddy.

308. What are you gonna tell him?

309. - That I'm with my family. - No.

310. Keep things as close to the truth as possible.

311. You're here, in the tunnel.

312. It needed routine maintenance.

313. You're just doing your job.

314. Helping him. Right?

315. My God.

316. We don't even know what war we're fighting.

317. Hello.

318. Sup?

319. Hey, where are you?

320. - At the tunnel. - Well, I didn't realize

321. we had a shipment coming through today.

322. No, there's not, uh...

323. The lights went out last time I-I was here,

324. and I'm fixing them.

325. Yeah. Hey, just, uh...

326. Leave right away, meet me at the warehouse.

327. Oh, okay. Okay.

328. Why? There's— Is there a problem?

329. No, I just need to talk to you about something.

330. Everything all right?

331. You take care of the hospital?

332. It was handled today.

333. It was handled? Not by you, cabrón?

334. One of my people.

335. "One of my people"?

336. You're gonna get my family killed, pendejo!

337. Listen to me. You need to calm down.

338. - To calm down? - You remember what I told you?

339. Yeah, you told me if I followed the rules,

340. I'd be okay.

341. But you don't fucking know!

342. I do know.

343. And I'll tell you this, you'd better believe it, too,

344. because this isn't gonna get any easier, Gustavo.

345. The paranoia, the fear, it only grows.

346. Teddy doesn't know anything.

347. He doesn't.

348. It's all in your head.

349. Chingada madre.

350. If you busy, we can come back.

351. Ey, we got stuff to do. Bring your ass on out, man.

352. I'm in here making one of my secret recipes.

353. - Y'all want to try? - Mm.

354. Our wedding had enough of your secret recipes

355. to last a lifetime.

356. I tried to give y'all a gift

357. to open the hearts and the minds,

358. and now you're all out here acting scandalous as fuck.

359. A lot of bass in that accusation.

360. - You sent a cop to shoot O.G. Kane? - Came at us.

361. Hard to be enlightened when somebody trying to kill you.

362. Y'all got an ongoing situation here.

363. O.G. gonna have the city at your necks.

364. And Kane is a motherfucking lion,

365. "king of the jungle" lion.

366. And he's gonna eat y'all asses up.

367. You want to get that, bro?

368. You got suggestions for how to take down a lion,

369. we're listening.

370. You got to join the pride,

371. become family.

372. Look, you might want to get that, bro.

373. It's fine. It's just my sister.

374. And you think that's a coincidence?

375. You better stop ignoring the universe.

376. That's divine ordinance, man.

377. Yeah.

378. You good?

379. All right. All right.

380. She making Mama's Sunday dinner, invited me over.

381. What'd I say about family?

382. Fix this shit with your family and Kane

383. before karma fuck you all up.

384. That's all I'm gonna tell you. Be with y'all in spirit.

385. A token.

386. How the fuck Kane know it was us?

387. That pig in a blanket you used, word started getting out.

388. Mm-mm. Maybe could've thought, but to know?

389. Only people who know are me, you and Buckley.

390. And Franklin.

391. You think Franklin in it with Kane now?

392. You still want to go to that dinner?

393. The fuck that mean?

394. My sister invited me to dinner, I'm-a go.

395. Ain't nothing else to that.

396. Yes!

397. Salut, maman.

398. Oh, hi, uh...

399. Maybe she has beginner's luck, too.

400. Slippery nipples. Two, please.

401. Just water for me, please.

402. We should go.

403. Whoa!

404. Hold up.

405. How y'all doing, you good?

406. There's an ice cream truck over there.

407. Why don't you go get yourself some, huh?

408. No, thank you.

409. You didn't have to come here.

410. Look, I want you to know,

411. whatever you need, I got you.

412. Money, time, it's all good.

413. I'm out, Franklin.

414. Yeah, like I just said, take all the time you need.

415. No, I'm out.

416. For good.

417. We had a pact.

418. If something happened to one of us, the other had to leave.

419. No questions asked, no revenge,

420. just take the kids and go.

421. - Auntie? - Yes, baby.

422. When's Mommy getting here?

423. Soon, baby.

424. You hungry?

425. Want some Fatburger?

426. Sure.

427. - Want some? - Okay.

428. Come on in.

429. It's just us.

430. Last time I saw these...

431. was after that fight about the car.

432. Mama cooked enough to feed a whole army.

433. It's amazing what we pass on to our kids.

434. I know she was furious about him not telling her

435. he bought it.

436. But I swear...

437. Daddy looked like he was ten feet tall

438. when he stepped out that Cadillac.

439. That's how you remember it?

440. What you want from me, Cissy?

441. You and Franklin are the last two men standing.

442. Last of the tribe.

443. Cissy, the boy stole from me.

444. Pulled a gun on my wife.

445. Dropped four bodies outside my club.

446. He turned you into a drug dealer.

447. But you don't want to desert him.

448. Cissy, when you ever had my back the way you have his?

449. You're right, maybe I haven't.

450. Why we're here.

451. And it might not be fair...

452. but it is all on you.

453. You are my family, and I need you.

454. What are you gonna do?

455. - Wait, you did what? - We need help.

456. Yeah, but after everything you said about her,

457. I didn't think helping was something she did.

458. That money we just laundered,

459. it was her ex who pointed us in the right direction.

460. She made that happen.

461. She made that happen, huh?

462. She left you in a Cape Town jail.

463. She also took 200 grand off the mark that put me there.

464. Look, unless something else has changed in the past 24 hours

465. I don't know about, we don't have a lot of options here.

466. But you can trust her?

467. I can trust her to be her.

468. Just sit with her.

469. Listen to what she has to say.

470. And if you think she can help, that's great.

471. If not, we'll send her on her way.

472. Hmm?

473. I don't know.

474. He could've altered his appearance.

475. I have no idea. Never seen him.

476. Okay.

477. Keep this copy. Let me know if you think of anything else.

478. Okay.

479. You understand that whoever this is,

480. they are out there,

481. and they're trying to bring

482. this whole operation crashing down.

483. Sí, señor.

484. Julius.

485. Oh... Ah.

486. Oh, this looks so good. Thank you.

487. - Enjoy. - Thank you.

488. Hi, um, can I have a beer, please?

489. - Sounds good. - Thank you.

490. You Cassandra?

491. Franklin.

492. Please.

493. If there's one thing you can't get in Paris,

494. it is a slab of ribs.

495. Help yourself.

496. I'll pass. Thanks.

497. You seem tense. Do you want a beer?

498. I don't drink.

499. V filled you in, on all of it?

500. She did.

501. Oh, thank you.

502. Quite an impressive mess you brought my daughter into.

503. It's funny, that's what she said about you.

504. Mm.

505. And yet, you managed to force her back to me.

506. V seems to think you can help.

507. But you're unconvinced.

508. Man we're up against is no joke.

509. He's trained, smart, manipulative.

510. And when the chips are down, a killer.

511. So I've been told.

512. So, let's get one thing straight from the jump.

513. This works, my fee is 20%.

514. 20—

515. You'd rather have 100% of nothing?

516. Yeah, I knew this was a bad idea.

517. Wait.

518. This man you're up against may be trained,

519. a killer,

520. but the person who helped him steal your money

521. most likely isn't.

522. What makes you think he had help?

523. Oh, honey, he definitely had help.

524. And he wouldn't have used someone in-house,

525. because the CIA would have to account for the money.

526. Got your attention, huh?

527. Mmm. You got to be kidding.

528. This is so good. Are you sure you don't want any?

529. No. How would somebody have helped him?

530. Well, lifting that much from overseas banks,

531. you need to set up dummy accounts,

532. forge documents, impersonate you.

533. Impersonate me?

534. There is a very short list of people

535. who can pull off a job of this scale.

536. Just need to know where to look.

537. And you do?

538. Typical finder's fee is five percent. All right?

539. Yes, Franklin, but there is nothing typical

540. about any of this.

541. Give me a week.

542. I'm gonna need to borrow your soon-to-be wife

543. for a few days and a couple of tickets to Panama.

544. If I find the person Teddy used, we settle on ten percent.

545. And a chance to have my daughter and grandchild in my life.

546. How does that sound?

547. Chingada madre.

548. I didn't know he was CIA at first,

549. just thought he was the plug.

550. Could get shit done.

551. But it wasn't until he got me out of jail

552. that I really put it all together.

553. I realized what it was I'd become a part of.

554. How soon are you meeting again?

555. - Two days. - Good.

556. In the meantime, we have approval to begin surveillance

557. on the Mexican, Gustavo Zapata.

558. He should lead us to Teddy's warehouse.

559. The Center also responded about

560. the material we took from Avi Drexler.

561. It appears there is one last weapons shipment

562. en route to Costa Rica.

563. It's on a cargo ship right now crossing the Atlantic

564. and should arrive in about three weeks' time.

565. The Center wants us to use our Sandinista contacts

566. to intercept the shipment.

567. Teddy and his people know Avi's missing.

568. So either they already rerouted the shipment,

569. or they'll be waiting for us.

570. Either way, we lose.

571. They're not asking.

572. Yeah!

573. Been a while since I've been to one of these.

574. Feeling nostalgic, or just feel safe here?

575. I know what Teddy did to you,

576. and I'm sorry I-I couldn't help you, moreno.

577. You're sorry?

578. Listen to me, Oso,

579. if you called me all the way down here just to apologize,

580. then you're wasting everybody's time.

581. Where'd you find this? Teddy?

582. You know who he is?

583. What if I do?

584. What's it worth to you?

585. Listen to me very carefully, Oso.

586. That picture is radioactive. You know what that means?

587. I can tell you who he is.

588. The only way that happens is if you get me Teddy first.

589. You do that, and in return,

590. after I get back what's mine, I'll make you rich.

591. How rich?

592. $10 million rich.

593. Okay.

594. First, you tell me who he is,

595. and you tell me why he's after us.

596. No, no, that's not how this is gonna happen.

597. You want to know, I get Teddy first.

598. And how do I know you're telling me the truth, cabrón?

599. 'Cause I know where you recognize him from.

600. Jerome and Louie's wedding.

601. Right?

602. You know where I am when you change your mind.

603. Until then,

604. I'd be real careful who you show that picture to, Oso.

605. See, the thing about radioactivity,

606. it poisons everyone who gets too close.

607. - Taste this shit! - Shit.

608. You want something?

609. I'm a'ight.

610. Ain't got to worry.

611. Cissy wanted me to come here and talk.

612. Let's talk.

613. All right.

614. The way I see it, you know, shit's pretty simple.

615. Yeah. I hit you. You hit me.

616. Let's just call it square.

617. Stay out of each other's way,

618. everybody lives.

619. Call it square?

620. Uh-huh.

621. I ever tell you about when I first came to L.A.?

622. I don't know.

623. Couldn't get my mind right back in Texas.

624. Place wouldn't have fit no more.

625. Cissy was moving to the West Coast,

626. landed in the Bay.

627. I knew that peace, love, hippie shit wasn't for me.

628. L.A. sounded a'ight.

629. Minute I got here, I realized the mistake.

630. I ain't had no people here.

631. No way to fit in.

632. But I wasn't gonna run back home, stuck it out.

633. Got a job at the Chrysler plant.

634. Went out every night.

635. Pussy ain't help.

636. Liquor and drink did a little.

637. No matter what I threw at it,

638. the big hole inside me just kept getting bigger.

639. Then Alton fell off.

640. Panthers shit.

641. Drinking.

642. Cissy trying to save his ass while trying to raise yours.

643. She was drowning.

644. So I told her to come out here.

645. Told her I'd set her up.

646. Be whatever she needed me to be.

647. She came.

648. Suddenly you was here.

649. Instantly I had love, I had purpose.

650. I was gonna be the man that raised you.

651. For the longest time, I thought that by lifting you up...

652. watching the young man that you were gonna become,

653. that that may be the greatest thing

654. to ever happen in my life.

655. And now I look at you...

656. and I wonder how the— how did I fuck up so bad?

657. Is it my fault

658. that you've become a scandalous, cutthroat,

659. bitch-made nigga that you are right now?

660. That's how you see it?

661. That's what the fuck it is, man.

662. Well, uh, you know, I guess another way of seeing it is

663. everything you have is because of me.

664. Right?

665. What I got? Hmm?

666. What I got, nephew?

667. Blood money?

668. Bodies on me?

669. Cops and CIA on my ass?

670. Your mama losing her goddamn mind?

671. You was going nowhere, doing nothing,

672. selling dime bags on the porch,

673. waiting for your bitch to come down from that sherm.

674. I'll crack your motherfucking jaw.

675. I tried to give you a legacy,

676. something more than a subwoofer and a weight bench.

677. And if you hadn't let yourself get played

678. by that trick you married, you might've had it!

679. Fuck you think you're talking to?

680. Y-You ever lay...

681. Nigga, you ain't gonna do shit!

682. I ain't gonna fucking do shit?

683. Do it.

684. Pull it, nigga.

685. Kill me.

686. End this shit right now.

687. Do it!

688. Do it!
