7. Alright, which one of you studs
thinks you're a better quarterback than me?Copy !req
8. Kent, how about it?Copy !req
9. Huh?Copy !req
10. That's okay.Copy !req
11. You too busy milking cows to come and try out for the team.
The least you can do is show some school spirit.Copy !req
12. Am I right?Copy !req
13. Come on, kent, do you wanna take a shot
at the hottest freshman at smallville high?Copy !req
14. Come on, Clark!Copy !req
15. Just take your time.Copy !req
16. Come on Clark, you can do it.Copy !req
17. Caw! Caw!
Go, crows! Whoo!Copy !req
18. Go, clark, you can do it!Copy !req
19. - Crows! Whoo-hoo!
- Yay, crows! Who's the lucky freshman this year?Copy !req
20. Probably the biggest loser like every year.Copy !req
21. Come on, take it off.Copy !req
22. - Hey, leave her alone.
- Stop, you guys!Copy !req
23. Or what? We always torture
the mascot, kent. It's a tradition.Copy !req
24. Leave me alone.Copy !req
25. Stop, you...Copy !req
26. Scabby abbyCopy !req
27. Scabby abby!Copy !req
28. Scabby abby!Copy !req
29. Put your mask back on, scabster!Copy !req
30. All right, who's next? Who's
gonna step up and dunk her?Copy !req
31. Poor baby.Copy !req
32. It's taken three years,
but you finally let mommy help you.Copy !req
33. Don't worry, sweetheart.Copy !req
34. I won't let you waste your senior year
like you did all the others.Copy !req
35. You promise people will like me?Copy !req
36. They will. I promise.Copy !req
37. Just like they did me.Copy !req
38. Everyone will love you when they see the real you...Copy !req
39. the one that's been inside all along.Copy !req

45. What a ball game! It's all tied up.
Five seconds left here at metro stadium.Copy !req
46. Clark kent, the young phenom from smallville,
has led M.U.'S incredible comeback.Copy !req
47. Kent takes the snap from his own
10-yard line. It's hail mary time.Copy !req
48. He fades back... here's the passCopy !req
49. a bullet deep downfield
way past his own receiver.Copy !req
50. Wait! Kent's now flying down the field.
He's going to catch his own pass! Touchdown!Copy !req
51. The meteors win! Kent is unbelievable!Copy !req
52. Nice arm, farm boy.Copy !req
53. When's the first game?Copy !req
54. - I'm not on the team.
- Why not?Copy !req
55. An arm like that is a
"get out of geek free" pass.Copy !req
56. - Well, even if I wanted to play
- Which obviously you do.Copy !req
57. That wouldn't be the reason.Copy !req
58. Thanks. I don't really consider myself a geek.Copy !req
59. So...Copy !req
60. what do you see yourself as?Copy !req
61. I don't know.Copy !req
62. An outsider, I guess.Copy !req
63. That's a recipe for wedgies
if I've ever heard one.Copy !req
64. Have I told you how much
I'm going to miss you?Copy !req
65. Daddy...Copy !req
66. don't you have 3,000 guys to baby sit?Copy !req
67. Do you really need
to keep checking up on me?Copy !req
68. It would appear that way.Copy !req
69. I know that I'm late, but I can still
make it to campus for orientation.Copy !req
70. Save yourself a trip. Met. U.
Just yanked your acceptance.Copy !req
71. What? They can't do that.Copy !req
72. They can if you don't have
enough credits to finish high school.Copy !req
73. Look, I know I missed a few classes, but...Copy !req
74. lo, you failed the last semester.Copy !req
75. Not to worry, though. I'm sure that clark
will be happy to show you around.Copy !req
76. - Around where?
- Around where?Copy !req
77. Bright and early, tomorrow morning.Copy !req
78. You start smallville high.Copy !req
79. Great.Copy !req
80. You know, socially divisive cliques and hall
passes aside, this place really is not all that bad.Copy !req
81. It's the varsity version of dante's seventh ring.Copy !req
82. Come on, do you know how many people
would kill to relive their senior year in high school?Copy !req
83. Make that semester. Five more credits,
and I amoutta this cowpile.Copy !req
84. Wait a minute. Five credit sin one semester?Copy !req
85. Lois, the only way you're going to do that is
if you add an extracurricular to your class load.Copy !req
86. Like, say, maybe... writing for the "torch. "Copy !req
87. Uh,Copy !req
88. no hard feelings here, cuz, but, unlike you,
the last thing I want to be is a reporter.Copy !req
89. What could be worse than, you know,
uncovering the truth and protecting the public?Copy !req
90. And sticking your nose in other people's business.Copy !req
91. Like I said, you'd be perfect.Copy !req
92. Come on. Let's go.Copy !req
93. It's gonna be great having you here.Copy !req
94. - Check it out.
- A new girl...Copy !req
95. Hi, clark.Copy !req
96. Abby?Copy !req
97. It's actually Abigail now.Copy !req
98. You know, I almost didn't recognize you.Copy !req
99. After an entire summer of recovery,Copy !req
100. good.Copy !req
101. With any luck, this old locker will be the only thing
that stays the same this year.Copy !req
102. Yeah, um, that shouldn't be a problem.Copy !req
103. So, uh,Copy !req
104. why the, uh..Copy !req
105. change?Copy !req
106. I guess just one day you realize you canCopy !req
107. can spend another year being
resentful of what everybody else hasCopy !req
108. or you can do something about it.Copy !req
109. You know, it's our senior year, clark.Copy !req
110. This is my last chance.Copy !req
111. Good morning, clark. Hey... abby.Copy !req
112. Whoa. Either she spent an entire summer at a collagen
farm, or I am shopping at the wrong makeup counter.Copy !req
113. How old is she 17? That's like messing with the
batter before the cookies are even baked.Copy !req
114. Don't tell me the world
isn't nicer to prettier people.Copy !req
115. Besides, you know,I mean, it's her body. And if it
makes her feel better, then it's none of our business.Copy !req
116. What?Copy !req
117. I'm just stunned that miss "letter to the editor"
doesn't find it one bit distressing that a girl would getCopy !req
118. nipped and tucked to fit into some plastic pod person...Copy !req
119. I think she looks great.Copy !req
120. What a shocker.Copy !req
121. Look, that's the problem
with high school. It's all a facade.Copy !req
122. Everyone's hiding who they really are
and trying to be something they're not.Copy !req
123. Well, it sounds like you've got your first article.Copy !req
124. See you in the "torch. "Copy !req
125. Okay, I'll write for your paper,
but you better get me extra credit.Copy !req
126. - Hey.
- Hey.Copy !req
127. A note through the vent of my locker.Copy !req
128. Very creative.Copy !req
129. Well, I pride myself on being able
to revert back to the fourth grade.Copy !req
130. What are you doing here? If we get
caught, I could get detention.Copy !req
131. I could get fired.Copy !req
132. Coach teague.Copy !req
133. I'm Clark Kent.Copy !req
134. Hi.Copy !req
135. Lana.Copy !req
136. What are you doing here?Copy !req
137. - Um, I, uh...
- The principal asked thisCopy !req
138. young lady to give me the grand tour.Copy !req
139. It's good to meet you, Clark.Copy !req
140. You know, they didn't tell me
you were Jason Teague.Copy !req
141. This guy threwa passing record his freshman year
at metropolis university. He could've gone pro.Copy !req
142. Yeah, well, now I'm just a transfer
to central kansas a&M.Copy !req
143. It's amazing how quickly you fall of
recruiters' lists when you tear your rotator cuff.Copy !req
144. Well, then, I, uh, I guess we're
lucky to have you here, coach.Copy !req
145. Assistant coach,Copy !req
146. miss lang.Copy !req
147. Um, quigley's still going to be
calling the plays for you guys.Copy !req
148. Well, actually, I'm not on the team.Copy !req
149. I was hoping I could try out.Copy !req
150. You look big enough. Sure.Copy !req
151. The talon.Copy !req
152. Lex,Copy !req
153. uh, agreed to let me manage it.Copy !req
154. Why?Copy !req
155. I was lucky to find a job at all, jonathan.
It's not like I have a full résumé these days.Copy !req
156. Sweetheart,Copy !req
157. if we're so worried about money,
then why don't we just goCopy !req
158. through the books again?
We'll find some other place to cut.Copy !req
159. Like where? We've been over
it every week for two months.Copy !req
160. There's no way we can get out from under
these hospital bills. I'm not blaming you. I just...Copy !req
161. I just don't want to keep waiting and risk
losing the farm. Ou've worked too hard.Copy !req
162. Yeah, so that you wouldn't have to.Copy !req
163. It's not so bad right now.Copy !req
164. You have the farm, and clark is going to go off
to college next year. I need something of my own.Copy !req
165. But why does it have to be with the luthors?Copy !req
166. I'll be selling espressos, jonathan,
not masterminding hostile takeovers.Copy !req
167. Well...Copy !req
168. I've always known thatCopy !req
169. you wanted to have more than just this old farm.Copy !req
170. I'm not going to be the one to stand in your way.Copy !req
171. - Thank you, sweetheart.
- You're welcome.Copy !req
172. Hey, kent,Copy !req
173. I need your permission slip, bud.Copy !req
174. What positions have you played?Copy !req
175. None, actually. I've never been on a team before.Copy !req
176. My father wasn't too keen on the whole idea.Copy !req
177. Your dad doesn't know you're here, does he?Copy !req
178. When it comes to defying fathers,
I'm kind of a pro.Copy !req
179. I'm not doing this for him.Copy !req
180. You know, I've seen a lot of guysCopy !req
181. join the team just so they can walk
around in a letterman's jacket.Copy !req
182. Because they want people to look at them differently.Copy !req
183. But football's just a game.Copy !req
184. If you want to change, you gotta do that yourself.Copy !req
185. That's why I'm here.Copy !req
186. All right. Let's see what you got.Copy !req
187. All right, kent.Copy !req
188. Do something to us.Copy !req
189. All right, guys, let's go!Copy !req
190. Alright guys, On two...Copy !req
191. hut! Hut!Copy !req
192. All right, that'll work.Copy !req
193. Line up again, guys.
Oh, man!Copy !req
194. Checkout Scabby abby.Copy !req
195. It's fake, you know.Copy !req
196. Who cares...Copy !req
197. Are you kidding me?Copy !req
198. Men, is she hot...Copy !req
199. Whoo! Yeah!Copy !req
200. I didn't mean to scare you.Copy !req
201. Just... I can't stop thinking about you.Copy !req
202. You mean the girl you nicknamed "scabby abby"?Copy !req
203. Yeah, I totally deserved that.Copy !req
204. Maybe if I'd been more patient,
I would've seen who you really are.Copy !req
205. The most...Copy !req
206. beautiful girl in school.Copy !req
207. I have a lot to apologize for.Copy !req
208. What do you sayCopy !req
209. we go some place a little more quiet?Copy !req
210. Where are we going?Copy !req
211. What are you doing?Copy !req
212. You didn't feel that?Copy !req
213. Of course I did.Copy !req
214. No. I..Copy !req
215. I should go.Copy !req
216. What's going on?Copy !req
217. Abigail, wait.Copy !req
218. Oh, I get it. New face... same old, boring scabby.Copy !req
219. Hey!Copy !req
220. Oh, my god.Copy !req
221. Bret?Copy !req
222. What's happening?Copy !req
223. What's wrong?Copy !req
224. Oh, my god.Copy !req
225. My face.Copy !req
226. My God...Copy !req
227. what did you do to me?Copy !req
228. No! My face!Copy !req
229. Admissions office? Look, I'm in the
nation'scream corn capital, retaking calculus.Copy !req
230. No, don't put me on hold.
Could this day be any worse?Copy !req
231. - No, that's everything.
- Thank you.Copy !req
232. Lois,Copy !req
233. what's going on?Copy !req
234. He just ran right out in front of me.Copy !req
235. I don't know. They said he's going
to be okay. Psychically, anyway.Copy !req
236. The cops think he kind a lost it.Copy !req
237. Who... bret?Copy !req
238. I just saw him at practice
an hour ago. He was fine.Copy !req
239. Are you sure about that?Copy !req
240. Yeah.Copy !req
241. Think about it, clark.
It's the start of a new season,Copy !req
242. scholar ships... the entire town
counting on you to be their hero?Copy !req
243. Who knows what kind of neuroses are
hiding behind that big man on campus mask?Copy !req
244. No way. If anything, bret was too overconfident.Copy !req
245. He probably just didn'tsee you.Copy !req
246. Yeah, that might explain
the broken windshield, but...Copy !req
247. do you want to tell me why he was
running around half naked, soaking wet?Copy !req
248. Why would he do that?Copy !req
249. Hey, hey, last time I checked, you were
missing a few prerequisites for being in here.Copy !req
250. So you have been checking me out.Copy !req
251. Lois, just wait outside.Copy !req
252. Are you kidding?Copy !req
253. Tortured senior can't keep up
the hometown hero act in buckles?Copy !req
254. This is as juicy as my teen cosmetic surgery article.Copy !req
255. - Excuse me.
- Yeah.Copy !req
256. How well did you know bret anderson?Copy !req
257. Not as well as I'd like to know you.Copy !req
258. Charming.Copy !req
259. Look, bret ranin front of my car. Do any
of you guys know what that was all about?Copy !req
260. Are you used to throughout other people's mail?Copy !req
261. Sorry. The box was addressed to the talon.Copy !req
262. Something tells me this isn't a
book-of-the-month selection.Copy !req
263. What's withCopy !req
264. this fascination with ancient writings?Copy !req
265. School project.Copy !req
266. That must be the same project
clark's always working on.Copy !req
267. For two people so different,
you have remarkably similar interests.Copy !req
268. It still amazes mew hat you did with this place.Copy !req
269. You saw promise in something everyone
else thought was beyond redemption.Copy !req
270. Huh.Copy !req
271. This is a side of lex luthor I've never seen before.Copy !req
272. You're coming dangerously close to being nostalgic.Copy !req
273. Congratulations are in order.Copy !req
274. Coach quigley called. You made the football team.Copy !req
275. You don't have to worry, dad.
I'm not gonna hurt anyone.Copy !req
276. I know how to control my abilities.Copy !req
277. The person I'm worried about
you hurting, clark... is yourself.Copy !req
278. You're gonna be tempted to run just
a little bit faster, to throw the ball...Copy !req
279. just far enough to win every game.Copy !req
280. You think I'm gonna cheat?Copy !req
281. I won't cross that line. You won't
even know where that line is, clark.Copy !req
282. Come on, think about it. You're out there, your friends are
giving it their all. You're gonna do what ever it takes to win.Copy !req
283. That's football, son.Copy !req
284. And with you, it's never gonna be a fair competition.Copy !req
285. Well, let's talk about what's fair.Copy !req
286. What's the first thing you remember
about high school when you think back?Copy !req
287. - No, no, no...
- don't tell me it's not football.Copy !req
288. I want that, too, dad.Copy !req
289. And I'm sick of begging for
the same chances that you just had.Copy !req
290. I want my own life.Copy !req
291. You're not the first person to walk
through that door with tattoo remorse.Copy !req
292. But you're the first one to do it without ink.Copy !req
293. What?Copy !req
294. Whatever this pigment is,Copy !req
295. it's almost as though the symbol
were branded underneath your skin.Copy !req
296. Someone wanted to leave a mark
you wouldn't easily forget.Copy !req
297. But you can still remove it, right?Copy !req
298. Well, I'll have to send this tissue sample off to the lab, but I am
guessing removal won't be possible without a complete skin graft.Copy !req
299. But we'll see.Copy !req
300. You go to school with my daughter, don't you?Copy !req
301. I never forget a face...Copy !req
302. especially a perfect one like yours.Copy !req
303. It must get you anything you want, hmm?Copy !req
304. Abby...Copy !req
305. how's bret? I saw you two in the hall.Copy !req
306. I don't know what you're talking about.Copy !req
307. I'll talk to you later.Copy !req
308. Thank you.Copy !req
309. Um, bye. Dr. Fine.Copy !req
310. What did you do to me?Copy !req
311. I kissed this guy, and he freaked out. It was like...
it was like he went insane or something.Copy !req
312. You were my first trial at this, abigail.Copy !req
313. I mean, there's always potential for complication.Copy !req
314. - Complication? Bret's atthe hospital because of me.
- Bret?Copy !req
315. Isn't this the boy that named you "scabby abby"?Copy !req
316. Maybe he got exactly what he deserved.Copy !req
317. And lana should, too.Copy !req
318. Lana?Copy !req
319. But lana never did anything to me.Copy !req
320. Lana saw the two of you together.
She's already asking questions.Copy !req
321. You think she knows?Copy !req
322. This is a very serious problem, abigail.Copy !req
323. If lana says anythingCopy !req
324. to anyone about what's happened
between you and this boy,Copy !req
325. they'll take all of this away from me.Copy !req
326. And without your treatments,Copy !req
327. you're going to revert back exactly
the way you used to be.Copy !req
328. Is that really what you want?Copy !req
329. No.Copy !req
330. I have done everything for you.Copy !req
331. And now I need you to do something for me.Copy !req
332. Yeah.Copy !req
333. Okay.Copy !req
334. It's the old drama room.Copy !req
335. Wow..Copy !req
336. Oh, this is an interesting detour
from the coach's office.Copy !req
337. I didn't even know this room existed.Copy !req
338. Yep. Neither does anyone else, hopefully.Copy !req
339. I still can't believe that you have a job at my school.Copy !req
340. I know.Copy !req
341. I guess I'm gonna have to get used
to my guys drooling over you.Copy !req
342. I don't think you have anything to worry about.Copy !req
343. Yeah?Copy !req
344. What about clark kent?Copy !req
345. I thought that you said you had a surprise
for me. How did this become about clark?Copy !req
346. It was strange. He...Copy !req
347. He kind a opened up to me today.Copy !req
348. You have no idea how strange that really is.Copy !req
349. - Yeah?
- Yeah.Copy !req
350. The thing is, you know, running the
drills and putting together a...Copy !req
351. a good team is one thing, but...Copy !req
352. having guys like clark coming in for adviceCopy !req
353. it's not gonna be so easy when these guys are looking
at me like I'm an adult. I still feel like I'm part of the team.Copy !req
354. But this moment isn't about me.Copy !req
355. No.Copy !req
356. Hold on.Copy !req
357. Okay.Copy !req
358. It's about this.Copy !req
359. - Oh, dear. That would be a blindfold.
- Yes, it would.Copy !req
360. Okay.Copy !req
361. So, what do you think you're gonna get out of this?Copy !req
362. Nothing. It's just thatCopy !req
363. we never really got to celebrate
somebody's birthday.Copy !req
364. Right...Copy !req
365. so you stay right here.Copy !req
366. - Okay.
- Okay.Copy !req
367. Don't peek.Copy !req
368. Jason?Copy !req
369. Hello?Copy !req
370. Jason, what are you do...Copy !req
371. abby?Copy !req
372. I'm sorry, lana.Copy !req
373. I don't know if you can even hear me, lana...Copy !req
374. but if you knew how much you meant to me...Copy !req
375. well, I guess the polite thing to do isCopy !req
376. cough and let you know I'm standing here, but...Copy !req
377. that always seems so forced, doesn't it?Copy !req
378. How is she?Copy !req
379. Well, they don't know what's wrong with her, so it'sCopy !req
380. it's kind a hard to say.Copy !req
381. Lex luthor.Copy !req
382. Jason teague.Copy !req
383. I, uh, work at the school.
I'm the new assistant football coach.Copy !req
384. Teague.Copy !req
385. As in marion, teague & weisman?Copy !req
386. That's my father's firm.Copy !req
387. And you decided to get as far away
from the family business as possible.Copy !req
388. Smart move.Copy !req
389. It didn't exactly go down like that.
He, uh, he cut me off.Copy !req
390. Well, what better place to kick-start
a new career than smallville high.Copy !req
391. Yeah.Copy !req
392. Certainly responsible of the school to send
over a representative to check in on her.Copy !req
393. Oh, um,Copy !req
394. yeah, I just I thought I'd stop byon the way home.Copy !req
395. It was nothing.Copy !req
396. I doubt that.Copy !req
397. Lana deserves the best.Copy !req
398. I hope you're it.Copy !req
399. Hey.Copy !req
400. How's she doing?Copy !req
401. She's pretty cut up.Copy !req
402. They gave her a sedative, but she keeps saying,
"don't let him see me" over and over again.Copy !req
403. It's like some kind of breakdown.Copy !req
404. When they brought bret in,
he was acting the same way,Copy !req
405. but the only thing they can find in common
is a spike in their serotonin levels.Copy !req
406. Serotonin?Copy !req
407. - It's a brain chemical.
- That Isdand hallucinogens mimic.Copy !req
408. It's also the word that lois misspelled three times
in her slander piece on extreme makeovers...Copy !req
409. yeah, well, lana and bret are hardly
candidates for plastic surgery.Copy !req
410. Yeah, but abby was.Copy !req
411. Didn't lana say she saw bret with abby
right before he went crazy?Copy !req
412. Maybe this procedure made
her more beast than beauty.Copy !req
413. My parents don't understand.Copy !req
414. They say I'm too young for plastic surgery.Copy !req
415. Well, some parents don't
remember what it was like.Copy !req
416. When I was your age, I wasn't
exactly home coming queen.Copy !req
417. I worked harder than all the pretty girls,
only to watch every thing get handed to them.Copy !req
418. Seven surgeries in two years changed all that.Copy !req
419. You know,I was actually interested
in that new procedure you used on abby.Copy !req
420. Is it really true that you only have to come in once?Copy !req
421. That's why I developed the process.Copy !req
422. I didn't want to watch my daughter go
through the pain that I endured only to haveCopy !req
423. what other girls were lucky enough to be born with.Copy !req
424. So let's get you scheduled here.Copy !req
425. Yes please.Copy !req
426. You know, I'm actually running a little late.Copy !req
427. Are you recording this?Copy !req
428. I'm going to expose you.Copy !req
429. Who are you to stop people from being their best?Copy !req
430. Call me crazy,Copy !req
431. but I've always been
a firm believer that beauty...Copy !req
432. it's on the inside.Copy !req
433. The people that say that are the ones
who already have it on the outside.Copy !req
434. - Okay.
- Wow.Copy !req
435. - You kind a let the inner slob out, huh?
- Yeah, and her name is lois.Copy !req
436. She's been pulling these articles that abby's
mom published on this new breakthrough...Copy !req
437. instant makeover technique.
But, uh, dr. Finer an into one snag.Copy !req
438. It's sending the patients'serotonin levels into overdrive.Copy !req
439. It says here dr. Fine was working on a suppression medication
called cerethro to keep the serotonin level sin check.Copy !req
440. Maybe it worked.Copy !req
441. Maybe abby was the trial run.Copy !req
442. Only abby'sseismic surgery
didn't come without aftershocks.Copy !req
443. She's passing something to people
that's super-boosting their serotonin.Copy !req
444. That makes sense if she kisses bret,
but what about lana?Copy !req
445. I don't know. All I do know is
that abby's not hallucinating,Copy !req
446. so maybe all lana and bret need
is a dose of that cerethro medication.Copy !req
447. Looks like lois is one step ahead of us.Copy !req
448. What are you doing?Copy !req
449. Giving you the inside scoop.Copy !req
450. You really want to know what it was like
for Abigail all of those years?Copy !req
451. Well, you're gonna find out.Copy !req
452. And without the suppressant
to balance out your serotonin levels,Copy !req
453. you'll be filing your story from the psych ward.Copy !req
454. Clark!Copy !req
455. Clark!Copy !req
456. - Are you okay?
- Get me out of here.Copy !req
457. Okay.Copy !req
458. Bitch.Copy !req
459. I don't know how toCopy !req
460. tell you this without sounding really stuck-up...Copy !req
461. I already know you're stuck-up.
In fact, I wanted to talk to you about that.Copy !req
462. You're funny.Copy !req
463. Yeah. And cute, huh?Copy !req
464. Okay, jason, look, I'm being serious.Copy !req
465. All right.Copy !req
466. Back in freshman year, I, uh,Copy !req
467. made the cheerleading squad.Copy !req
468. And that was my whole identity.Copy !req
469. Putting on the faceCopy !req
470. that I thought everyone wanted to see.Copy !req
471. I keep thinking of all the times
that you've told me that I'm beautiful.Copy !req
472. And, um...Copy !req
473. I can't help but wonderCopy !req
474. how much of me you really see.Copy !req
475. Lana, I tell you you're beautiful because ofCopy !req
476. who you are, not because of what I see.Copy !req
477. I mean, you're the girl I flew half
way across the world to be with.Copy !req
478. The girl whoCopy !req
479. kicks the crap out of me at xbox
and thinks it's hysterical.Copy !req
480. I mean, I have seen you with the stomach flu where your eyes
were puffy and your nose was running, you're yakking...Copy !req
481. okay, okay, I get the picture.Copy !req
482. All I'm saying is,Copy !req
483. the reasons I love youCopy !req
484. it's not something you can see in a mirror.Copy !req
485. That's good. I'm gonna write
that down and use that later.Copy !req
486. I guess practice ran late, huh?Copy !req
487. Dad, I'm sorry I disappointed you.Copy !req
488. But I'm staying on the team.Copy !req
489. I'm tired of living my life on the sidelines.Copy !req
490. I realize that, clark.Copy !req
491. I also realize that you're a senior in high school, and...Copy !req
492. from now on, you're gonna be
making a lot of your own decisions.Copy !req
493. But if you want to beCopy !req
494. seen as an adult in this family, then you're
gonna have to start acting like one.Copy !req
495. Adults in this family don't run off andCopy !req
496. do things without discussing them first.Copy !req
497. I know.Copy !req
498. That's why I have just one question for you.Copy !req
499. Are you gonna let some assistant coach from
metropolis teach your boy how to play football?Copy !req
500. Go deep.Copy !req
501. Yeah!Copy !req
502. SKIN DEEPCopy !req
503. Admiring the genius within, huh?Copy !req
504. It had a typo.Copy !req
505. Oh, nice try.Copy !req
506. So,Copy !req
507. I followed upon the abby story line, andCopy !req
508. it looks like mother makeover is gonna be playing
"mirror, mirror" on the psych ward wall from now on.Copy !req
509. - Is abby gonna be okay?
- Yeah, she'll be back next week.Copy !req
510. So, are you excited for your first pep rally?Copy !req
511. Not exactly the friday night
I've been dreaming of.Copy !req
512. Oh, come on, it's your debut
as smallville's newest celeb.Copy !req
513. Yeah, right. One plastics 'r' us piece, and they're
gonna be holding tables all over town for me.Copy !req
514. You'd be surprised. I mean, not that I'm ceding my
stance on a woman's right to choose rhinoplasty, but...Copy !req
515. you've got fan mail.Copy !req
516. Looks like your little exposé struck a couple chords.Copy !req
517. I didn't even expect anybody
to read this, let alone have A..Copy !req
518. "life-changing experience"?Copy !req
519. Please.Copy !req
520. Whatever. Say what you want,
but I know inside it's getting to you.Copy !req

525. Come on, lois, didn't those guys
on the base teach you anything?Copy !req
526. Wouldn't you like to know?Copy !req
527. It doesn't matter, 'cause you are going down.Copy !req
528. That'll be the dayCopy !req
