130. - Every time that I lip synced for my life, I was like,

131. I don't want to go out not trying.

133. - What has drag allowed you to do that maybe

134. you've never been able to do before?

135. - Confront a lot of things that have been repressed.

136. There's a lot of trauma that I've dealt with in my career.

137. And there have been very, very cruel things

138. that have been said about me by the public,

139. basically trying to out me

140. before I had come to terms with my own sexuality.

141. And I think that it manifested itself in this competition.

142. - You rendered your judgment of being a "sissy,"

143. or being thought of as someone

144. who's overly femme or whatever.

145. And that's when the switch happens.

146. That surrender in life is when the party begins.

147. Tell me about Thirsty. What has emerged?

148. - I think that it's more about what she's like done for me,

149. in terms of being able to portray a character

150. and live in a character that is

151. so overtly sexual and flirtatious.

152. Like, those are things that

153. I wish that I could tap into a little bit more.

154. - That power is available to you all the time.

155. What would it mean to you, winning?

156. - It would mean everything.

157. I mean, it would be the ultimate symbol of permission

158. to be fully myself and be unapologetic about it.
