345. Because allowing those voices to rent space in your head,

346. that's on you.

347. - Absolutely, and I apologised to Viv, because—

351. that you were underestimated by the other girls.

352. - Absolutely. It became a sort of weird fixation

353. because I respect her so much.

354. And I love her, I love what she does,

355. and I've watched her grow.

356. Because she hadn't seen the same growth in me,

357. I allowed that to affect me.

358. - Do you think that was a strategy of hers

359. to undermine you?

360. - No, I don't think so.

408. - Did you live your life in a K-hole?

409. - Yeah, it was breakfast, dinner, and tea.

410. I could have three bags of it just putting my face on.

411. - How long had you been doing it?

412. - On and off for four years.

414. - What made you stop?

415. - I just had to stop.

416. It was a case of doctors were telling me

417. I was gonna be dead by the time I was 30.

418. I was getting evicted from apartments.

419. - I had nowhere— I was making good money.

420. I was in drag six nights a week,

421. and I was living like a poor person.

422. - Yeah.

423. - I bumped into some guys that I knew from Gran Canaria.

424. They asked me to go and do a gig at Pride.

425. I did it, I was there for a week,

426. and I just felt like myself again.

427. I hadn't touched anything all week.

428. And then spiralling from that, I met David, we got engaged,

429. and now I'm sitting here with you two.

430. It's just nuts, isn't it?

431. I'd love to help people in my position.

432. I mean, drag and the gay scene is riddled with drugs and abuse,

433. and I don't think there's enough support out there.

434. - Mm-hmm. Well, you know,

435. I've been sober for many years,

436. and hopefully you'll stick with it.

437. Hopefully you'll understand what a great talent you are,

438. and what you have to bring to this world.

439. - Ru has gone through a similar thing that I've gone through,

939. for me to talk about why I'm good at anything,

941. I have been consistently good

943. At points, I've been absolutely incredible.

944. There is still so much for me to learn,

945. but for 10 years I've been developing all of those skills.

946. You know, choreography, stagecraft, editing,

947. writing scripts, doing TV work, learning about the industry.

948. I don't feel any of us deserve it more than anybody else,

949. but I think if I was crowned, you would get somebody

950. who was going to bring a kindness and a softness

951. to what can be quite a hard art form.

953. - Well, I think time after time

954. I've shown you from challenge to challenge,

955. runway to runway, that I am a strong queen,

956. a hell of an entertainer, and a really funny person.

957. But apart from that skill set,

958. I really think I bring a humbleness, relatability

960. I think being an amazing performer is great,

961. but I just think being able to relate to someone

962. who's a bit common is just so much more endearing

963. than having all the skills under the world.

964. I haven't got all the skills in the world,

965. but what I have got is the tools

966. to make someone feel at ease with themselves.

1125. And I was very surprised that of all the people to do that,

1127. And there's a consistency to Divina,
