318. was not something I was, you know, gifted as a child.

319. My father was a bit of a machista,

321. And he didn't want me to show emotions.

322. He didn't want any femininity from me.

323. And so we stopped talking for six years,

324. and I, like, fell off the wagon.

325. In my darker moments,

326. I kind of had pushed my self-esteem and my—

327. my ability to use my voice to the back.

328. I was so afraid to talk to my father again.

329. But he has followed what I've been up to,

330. and I think he learned that there's a respect there

331. and there's an art form.

332. Me and my father rekindled and fixed the relationship.

333. And it was almost like the puzzle pieces fell in place

334. and I was able to take care of myself again

335. and be healthy again and really love myself.

336. He is super supportive now.

337. I can show him pictures of me in drag.

338. And he's like, oh, you look beautiful.

339. It kind of has brought us all together.

340. You know, when I see you dance and I see in the moment,

341. you are inspired by the music to do a certain move,

342. that's the key to everything.
