RuPaul's Drag Race 16x10

1. - Previously on "RuPaul's Drag Race"...

2. You need to create a neo-goth look.

3. - Yes! - Oh!

4. - Are you trying to diversify what you make?

5. I feel like now's a good time for you to diversify.

6. - My brain is trying to come up with an idea

7. that will be fresh.

8. - Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige.

9. - How did you make a whole dress like that

10. and you don't sew?

11. - I had some help from Sapphira.

12. - Plasma.

13. It just does not read as goth.

14. Q.

15. - You look like a beautiful nightmare.

16. 10 out of 10.

17. - Condragulations, you are the winner

18. of this week's challenge.

19. Mhi'ya, shantay, you stay.

20. Plasma, sashay away.

21. - Ah!

22. - Plasma was just eliminated.

23. And she had two wins,

24. so I'm like kind of glad some competition is gone.

25. Plasma leaving says that

26. anybody can go home at any moment.

27. No matter how many wins you have,

28. it comes down to that final lip sync.

29. And if you don't sell it, you're going home.

30. - "Thank you all for the love. XO, XO, Plasma."

31. - That lip sync was fucking... - Amazing.

32. - It was fantastic. - Amazing!

33. - I can't believe you flipped in a gown.

34. - Yeah. - The gown flip!

35. - I thought you were gonna be sent home because

36. you didn't have a wig under your wig,

37. but it was sickening.

38. - You are the lip sync assassin.

39. - Three for three, mama.

40. - I am in awe of Mhi'ya,

41. and kind of wishing that we had got rid of her earlier.

42. Maybe I shouldn't have helped the bitch.

43. So how are you feeling?

44. - It's not a good feeling to

45. have to lip sync almost every week.

46. But I'm happy to be here.

47. It sucks that I had to send Plasma home,

48. because we were actually becoming close friends.

49. - Love you, Plasma.

50. - I feel like it's gonna get harder and harder for me,

51. because the judges are going to be expecting me to

52. bring more to the table.

53. But I'm a damn good performer,

54. so watch it, bitches.

55. - Congratulations. - To Q!

56. - Yes. - Yes.

57. - Well, well, well-deserved. - Well-deserved.

58. - I've been like itching for this second win.

59. So like, I've like want to keep that momentum going.

60. It feels like the girls have their eyes on me.

61. They're seeing me snatch another win up.

62. I think they're gunning for me to, you know, fall again.

63. - We're down to seven girls.

64. - When you walked in with your six new sisters,

65. did you expect these to be the ones that you saw

66. getting towards the end?

67. - I definitely saw Nymphia and Plane.

68. - I saw Sapphira, Q, from my group for sure.

69. - The fuck does that mean?

70. - Oh, my God! I'm so—I'm sorry.

71. Dawn, yes, you too, you too, you too.

72. - I've been doing great in this competition.

73. It is just a matter of figuring out

74. how the fuck to have a win.

75. I saw it being Sapphira and Q as well,

76. and Xunami, but here you are.

77. - Morphine and Dawn are the only two girls

78. that don't have wins now.

79. And the pressure is honestly getting to both of those girls.

80. - I'm really frustrated that I haven't even been in the top.

81. Bitch, I want to win, you know? - Yeah.

82. - But hopefully, there's not gonna be

83. any more sewing challenges.

84. - Imagine it's a sewing challenge

85. to get into the finale.

86. - Walking out.

87. - She said walking out? - Just walking out.

88. - You might not have Sapphira to make your dress

89. for you that time.

90. - Well, I have a good mind.

91. I'm not slow, you know, like you.

92. - But I mean, I still did these intricate things.

93. Baby, you wore that little simple dress.

94. - I mean, if we're gonna talk about execution,

95. I executed, and you know—

96. - I want to see the Morphine versus Violet sync.

97. - Yeah.

98. - If my name was called today to lip sync,

99. I would have gotten a scissor and cut my dress,

100. 'cause I was not gonna let that bitch send me home.

101. - Ooh.

102. - I mean. - Mama.

103. - I'm feeling the tension because I'm sitting

104. right next to these mother fuckers.

105. Y'all are scary.

106. Is this what you do in Miami? That's a lot.

107. - The Miami girls aren't friends.

108. - Baby, one thing about me, I don't play when it comes to

109. a performance and a lip sync.

110. - I mean, you cute when you home,

111. so I don't know what you gonna do here.

112. - Ooh.

113. - On that note! - Bye!

114. - The stakes are higher than ever.

115. And I'm over it. I need to win already.

116. - Do you think it's gonna be a New York girl

117. who leaves next week?

118. - Hope so.

119. - Well, I know it's not gonna be me.

120. People can't tell, but I can perform.

121. - Yeah, so can I.

122. - Nymphia!

123. - When the drag queen has presence, it's over.

124. And that's something that

125. I know I have, I'm very confident in.

126. So this week, I'm going to win the hearts of the judges

127. because I'm not going down without a fight.

128. The winner of "RuPaul's Drag Race" receives

129. a one year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics,

130. and a gag-worthy grand prize of $200,000,

131. served by Cash App.

132. With extra special guest judge, Jamal Sims.

133. - Whee.

134. - We're here again. - Whee!

135. - It's a new week in the Werk Room,

136. and there's so much space for me to twirl.

137. I can finally get a word in. No one talking over you.

138. My ears are rested.

139. - Good morning, girls.

140. - Good morning. - Good morning!

141. - I have to say, I have to tell you guys one thing.

142. - What? - What's that?

143. - I've started having dreams about you guys.

144. - Oh, no!

145. - Are they sex dreams?

146. - Which one of us are you fucking?

147. - Maybe I shouldn't say dreams. I should say nightmares.

148. - I definitely am thinking constantly about my sisters

149. in sometimes ways that I don't want to be.

150. - No one. No, no, no!

151. - Ooh! - Whoo, girl.

152. - She done already done had herses.

153. - You're so tall.

154. - My queens. - Hey, girl.

155. - America's next drag superstar can use her charisma,

156. uniqueness, nerve, and talent to inspire the people,

157. especially when it's funky.

158. Ooh.

159. - So step to the beat and save the country.

160. Hello, hello, hello.

161. - I love that suit. I love that suit.

162. - Ladykins!

163. Throughout history, drag queens have been on the front lines

164. of social change.

165. - That's right.

166. - And this election year,

167. the most important thing we can all do is vote.

168. - Yes, ma'am, vote. - Absolutely.

169. - But you can't just tell people to vote.

170. You have to inspire them to feel the need.

171. So for this week's Maxi Challenge,

172. you've got to dig deep and let your voice be heard

173. in the inspirational anthem, "Power."

174. First, you'll write a solo verse

175. about what matters to you

176. as a drag queen living in the USA.

177. - Yes.

178. - I think it's a very interesting layer

179. to the challenge.

180. It's not just being cunty fierce.

181. It's a get out and vote, make your voice heard anthem.

182. - Next, you'll record your vocals with "Power" composers,

183. Leland and Freddie Scott.

184. Then you will exercise your right

185. to shake your groove thing

186. with choreographer Jamal Sims.

187. - I love him.

188. - Whoo, baby!

189. I just did James Brown in the Snatch Game.

190. And I can't wait to get down and be funky.

191. I feel another win coming.

192. - And ladies, here is the best part.

193. The song "Power" will be featured live on stage

194. as part of the Werq the World Tour.

195. I brought the track. Now, you bring the power.

196. - We will.

197. - This song will be featured live on stage

198. for the Werq the World Tour, which is so exciting.

199. This challenge incorporates performance skills,

200. dancing, and lip syncing.

201. I'm confident, because I eat at everything I do.

202. So there's no way I could fuck this up.

203. - Racers, start your engines,

204. and may the best drag queen win.

205. - Let's listen to this thing.

206. - All right.

207. - Hey, hey.

208. - Oh, it's funky. - I feel like Wendy Williams.

209. - The song, "Power" is about getting everybody to vote,

210. getting everybody to wake up, and fight for our power.

211. - Sister, I don't know how I'm supposed to write about voting

212. when my whore self wants to come out.

213. - I have creative juices. I'm going to start writing.

214. - Well, you should.

215. - Plane still has that damn immunity potion.

216. And the immunity is going to expire this week.

217. So I'm going to give her a nice massage,

218. bring her her breakfast to bed.

219. I'm going to do whatever it takes

220. just in case I'm in the bottom again.

221. You know that episode of SpongeBob

222. when he took five hours just to write, "Duh?"

223. - Is that what you feel like?

224. You definitely look like SpongeBob.

225. You're definitely the SpongeBob of the cast.

226. - You're handsome Squidward. - I am.

227. We're two SpongeBob characters, honey.

228. Who's the Patrick Star?

229. - Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige.

230. - So shady. - Pressure's on for you, girl.

231. You got to make Miami proud, because I don't know—

232. - Because Mhi'ya's not doing it.

233. - Right.

234. - Huh? Hey, yo.

235. - It was Morphine. Morphine said something.

236. - What happened with Mhi'ya? - You had to be there.

237. - You just like to run that mouth, Miss Morphine.

238. - Q, you might need that immunity potion today.

239. - It is a dance challenge, Q.

240. - And guess what? Last dance challenge I was

241. in the bottom 'cause I made an outfit that sucked.

242. - Well. - Well.

243. - Listen, how about you stay in time this time,

244. Miss Rusical bottom. - Ooh!

245. - Morphine is like so thirsty for a win.

246. She's getting a little sensitive about anybody

247. that pokes fun that, you know,

248. she hasn't exactly made her mark here yet.

249. - No one is safe, honey.

250. - Nobody is safe.

251. - Sapphira, do have like some lyrics

252. that you're playing around with?

253. - I'm going to try and bring in a little bit of

254. like national anthems into this.

255. In the Black community, we have what's called

256. the Negro National Anthem, which is called,

257. "Lift Every Voice and Sing." You might have heard it.

258. "Lift Every Voice and Sing" is the Negro National Anthem.

259. It is a beautiful song.

260. It's about lifting every voice to get equality for everyone.

261. Being Black in America, it's just like

262. really gives you a sense of community,

263. a sense of pride.

264. So I'm going to try and lift every voice.

265. - No, I like that. I do like that vibe.

266. Miss Mhi'ya, you won the last little writing song challenge.

267. Do you think you're going to take home

268. another challenge, queen? - I mean, I'm hoping so.

269. I consider myself as a fake rapper or whatever.

270. I'm excited, because I love to dance, of course.

271. And I'm good when it comes to writing lyrics.

272. What I'm singing is, I'm living in a country

273. where we're all rights should be equal.

274. Just because I'm gay don't make me less equal.

275. And then I started rapping after that.

276. - Mhi'ya, you just rhymed equal with equal.

277. What are you doing?

278. Maybe if I heard you singing it, it would be different.

279. - Just imagine them just calling me out

280. as the winner of this challenge,

281. and I can watch everyone lip sync.

282. - That'd be different from all the other weeks, mama.

283. - Oh, shit. Damn.

284. - You're like writing, writing.

285. - It's really easy to talk about all the things

286. that you're good at in a verse,

287. but this is very different.

288. And I'm really spending a lot of time trying to consider

289. what do I think my power is?

290. To me, power is like,

291. overcoming your trauma and your hurt, right,

292. and like, healing your inner child,

293. because once you're able to do that,

294. that's when you're really able to like help the world.

295. - Yeah. - That kind of thing.

296. - That's cute. - Yeah.

297. - OK, I need to be blessed by some sort of song god.

298. Where is Magami, my ghostwriter?

299. For the girl group,

300. you like, you didn't write your lyrics?

301. - I told Magami like,

302. I was thinking about singing about this.

303. And Magami put it into words for me.

304. - OK.

305. Well, she's not here now.

306. - So you're Magami. - No, I don't know about that.

307. She mentions that Magami wrote her entire lyrics last time,

308. so she's having a little trouble.

309. And I realized that I think I might have

310. a bit of a curse going on at the moment

311. because this is now the fourth time

312. that I've been positioned next to someone

313. who is freaking out about a challenge.

314. Still empty.

315. Inspiration.

316. Come to me.

317. Give me your pen.

318. - Leave me alone. I'm not a part of this.

319. - What rhymes with yellow?

320. Fellow, mellow, bellow, hello, Jell-O, marshmallow.

321. Don't be a marshmallow.

322. Stand up and vote yellow.

323. - She wrote, "Nymphia Wind.

324. There's a wind coming."

325. Girl, the wind is your elimination.

326. No, I'm just kidding.

327. Evil.

328. - I learned a lip sync song. - No, Nymphia.

329. I need a miracle.

330. Let's vote.

331. - Hello. - Welcome, welcome.

332. - It's time to do our recording session with Leland.

333. And I feel like Beyoncé.

334. Like, I feel like I'm gonna go record a hit smash song.

335. - I'm Leland. This is Freddy Scott.

336. And we are the composers of "Power."

337. - Nice.

338. - This song is all about empowerment.

339. So I want to hear you deliver your message.

340. Y'all ready? - Yes.

341. - Great.

342. First up, Morphine Love Dion.

343. Welcome. - Hello.

344. - How are you feeling about your verse?

345. - I really like my verse.

346. It's all about like the drag bans happening,

347. but giving it a little cunt flair.

348. - OK, amazing.

349. So let's see what we're working with.

350. - OK, let's do it. I'm excited.

351. - Morphine's verse is cute.

352. It's bumpy. It's fun.

353. To be honest, I don't know what she's saying,

354. but I heard "ballot."

355. So I think that she's at least telling people to vote,

356. so that's good.

357. - We're already almost there.

358. So really, just own it. Here we go.

359. - That was wonderful. - Yay.

360. - It's potentially a show-stopping verse.

361. - Bitch, I might be a songwriter after all, honey.

362. - Normally, as songwriters,

363. I would be a stickler for rhyming equal with equal.

364. But it's such a choice, but you have to sell it.

365. Otherwise, it comes across as like lazy songwriting.

366. You know, but you have to say—

367. Like, make me think you're gonna say another word,

368. and then say equal again. - OK.

369. - You have set yourself up to have a really funny moment

370. that people are not gonna be expecting.

371. So double-down on that moment.

372. All right? - Yes.

373. - Let's try it again.

374. - Tap that word and keep it moving.

375. - Yeah. - Let's grab it again.

376. - Poor Mhi'ya.

377. I mean, wow, girl.

378. - I mean, maybe Mhi'ya would have had a better song

379. if Sapphira wrote it for her.

380. Ooh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

381. - Dawn sounds very interesting.

382. - It seems like she's having fun up there.

383. And I'm glad that Dawn is having fun

384. on what could potentially be her last week here.

385. - Can you try rapping everything for me?

386. - Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. - Let's go for it.

387. - That already feels so much better.

388. - I'm grateful to that man

389. 'cause I went out on a limb.

390. And I'm just glad that there's someone else to say,

391. that limb is going to break, mama, so don't—

392. let's climb back down the tree, OK?

393. Thank you.

394. Fuck. - All good.

395. But you see where that's going?

396. Make that a moment.

397. - OK. - Here we go.

398. Fuck. Sorry, sorry.

399. For my love like a—

400. This is hard.

401. I was so confident going into this.

402. And now, I'm starting to get in my head a little bit.

403. I'm like, focusing a little more on breath control

404. than I should be. - Get rid of that.

405. - OK. - Be in this moment.

406. - Throw some Jennifer Coolidge on that line.

407. - OK. - Yes.

408. - Great.

409. - I don't understand a word Plane Jane is saying.

410. I hear, "da, da, da, da, da, da, spread my legs."

411. I'm not exactly sure how that is getting people

412. to come out to the polls. Maybe the stripper poles.

413. - Hi. - Hello, Nymphia Wind.

414. How are you?

415. - I am super nervous but we're here to have fun.

416. - There is no reason to be nervous.

417. You are a ray of sunshine... - OK.

418. - On the main stage right now.

419. - I will channel that into the song.

420. - Take your moment, whatever you need to do.

421. - Ooh, it's getting windy.

422. - It's pretty obvious that

423. she didn't have a ghostwriter this time.

424. - Just because this verse has less lyric

425. doesn't mean it's any less impactful.

426. You have the opportunity to make each word

427. a moment. - OK.

428. - So that's where I want you to go with this.

429. Here we go.

430. - That's all right. That's all right.

431. Oh, my God.

432. - Um, let's grab that one more time.

433. - OK.

434. - Ooh, it's getting windy.

435. - That's so shady.

436. - I'm finally relaxed.

437. - Good, OK, good. OK, good.

438. - Ow! Let's vote!

439. Hey, ha!

440. - Your tone is so beautiful, and rich, and amazing.

441. And also, you can do a lot of different things.

442. It was so much fun. - Oh!

443. I'm so excited.

444. - Up next is Q.

445. - I think Sapphira is my biggest competition

446. in this challenge, so I'm going to

447. play a lot more with my range, my vocal range,

448. and like, really turn something out

449. that makes people want to get up and vote.

450. - Do you have a singing background?

451. - Yeah, I grew up in theater, did musical theater

452. every once in a while. - There we go.

453. - I wouldn't say I'm like Mariah Carey,

454. but I can carry a tune. - That's all we need.

455. So let's get this chorus,

456. and let's focus on just singing big, long, high notes.

457. - OK. - One, two, three, four.

458. - Ooh. Wow.

459. - The energy is there.

460. All I want from you right now is a big, long note.

461. - [dramatic off-key vocalizing]

462. - You know that sound

463. when nails hit a chalkboard and it's like...

464. - Yikes, sister. Yikes.

465. She's in trouble.

466. - Not ready for my power, bitch.

467. Ow!

468. - Hello. - Hey.

469. - Hey, hey.

470. - Looking sharp.

471. Whoo!

472. It is time to learn choreography with Jamal.

473. - I'm here to make sure that your dance moves

474. are equally as powerful as your lyrics.

475. We don't have a lot of time. You guys ready?

476. - Yeah. - Yeah, let's do it.

477. - He's got a nice smile. His eyes are so beautiful.

478. I don't know how I'm gon' focus on these steps.

479. But he also reminds me of my cousin,

480. so I think I'll be fine.

481. - The footwork is and one and two.

482. - Ooh.

483. - So we're gonna go, a-da, a-da,

484. and swing, pop. - Ooh.

485. - What?

486. - Hey.

487. A-da, a-da.

488. - This is hard.

489. - I saw you add a little pump. I'm not mad at it.

490. - I'm trying to make it do what it do.

491. - All right. Come on, addition.

492. - Sapphira is an all around funky queen.

493. I might have to throw some pearls or something.

494. - Q, do you have any moves?

495. - Um, I can do somethings.

496. Like... - Hey.

497. A lot of this is about commitment.

498. And if you're committed,

499. the audience is gonna feel committed.

500. - Oh, I'm not scared at all. I'm ready to go for it.

501. I'm not a dancer.

502. I can't go into this challenge

503. like I do a design challenge.

504. But you know, I'm gonna try to funk this shit up.

505. - We're gonna go,

506. roll, pop, roll, pop.

507. So it's roll, hit it, smack it.

508. - Little bit like a plié? - Yep, yep.

509. Bah.

510. - Q has Barbie hands.

511. Have we all noticed this?

512. You know how Barbie's hands are like stuck

513. so they can hold their purse or whatever?

514. She's definitely moving.

515. I don't know if she's grooving.

516. - So it's just like, rock. - Yep.

517. Five, six, seven, eight.

518. - It should feel like it comes from the puss.

519. That's what I'm looking for.

520. Although Q is our least dancer-y girl,

521. there's confidence in her.

522. And sometimes, confidence can take you a long way.

523. From the top, we're going to rock.

524. It's just going to go one, two, three, four.

525. Bend those knees.

526. Now, this is where the funk is going to come in.

527. - OK. - We're going to go

528. five, and six, and seven, and eight.

529. - Ooh, all right.

530. - Go, one, two, three, four, five,

531. and six, and seven, and eight.

532. - All these girls like to talk about how I can't dance.

533. Mama, I'm not exactly seeing

534. "Dancing With the Stars" up here.

535. - Right now, it feels very up straight.

536. You want to bend your knees, low, rock the hips.

537. There you go. There you go.

538. Ooh!

539. Ms. Dawn, Ms. Dawn, Ms. Dawn, Ms. Dawn, Ms. Dawn.

540. It's not very funky.

541. It's very funky.

542. - One, two, three, four, five, and a six,

543. and a seven and eight.

544. Right now, the shoulders are going like this.

545. But now, just hold onto your core.

546. - OK.

547. - Bop, ba-da, bop, ba-da, bop.

548. Five, and a six, and a seven, and a eight.

549. Almost. Those shoulders.

550. You got to lose those shoulders.

551. - Yes, I will. - Let's try it with music.

552. Hey, hey.

553. One, two, three.

554. - I just realized what she was wearing.

555. What the fuck is she wearing?

556. - Nymphia says she's a dancer,

557. but what Jamal is showing her

558. is very one, two, three.

559. - One, two, three.

560. - And she's not hitting those marks.

561. - Dun, dun, dun, dun.

562. - You're going to show me your funky power move.

563. - Hey!

564. - The bitch just starts flipping.

565. I mean, that's not what he asked you, girl, but OK.

566. - Oh, all right.

567. So you got legs and tricks, huh?

568. - Yeah.

569. - I think the flips are the only weapon

570. that Mhi'ya could use, to be honest.

571. - We're gonna go, one and two, and three and four.

572. It's a little giddy-up.

573. Hey, hey, there you go.

574. One more time, five, six, seven, let's go.

575. And one and two, and three and four.

576. From here, we're rocking, five, six.

577. There you go. One more time.

578. - But Mhi'ya starts doing kind of a good job.

579. - Hey, hey, hey, and whoo.

580. - Which, ugh, my God.

581. Why?

582. - Morphine. Come on, walk.

583. - Ready.

584. - So are you a dancer?

585. - Yeah, I'm a dancer a little bit.

586. I could do whatever you want to teach me.

587. - Let's go then. - Yeah.

588. - Oh.

589. - She can do whatever you want to teach me.

590. Ooh, don't say that, Morphine.

591. You might shoot yourself in the foot.

592. You're going to start, one, two, three, four,

593. and the head should go.

594. Think of your head going back, right?

595. One, two, three, four.

596. - Come on, chicken head.

597. I love my sis. She's so goofy.

598. - Yeah, the head is weird. - Almost, yeah.

599. It's a groove.

600. It's cool.

601. It's funky.

602. It's uh. It's ah.

603. Everything is back.

604. If you go forward, that's a different groove.

605. - Yeah. - Right?

606. - One thing I will do is fix this chicken movement

607. that I'm doing, because, bitch, I need a win.

608. I need a win, honey.

609. - I used to dance when I was younger.

610. I used to be a ballroom dancer. - OK.

611. - So you know I could give you a little bit of

612. like a lock step. - Uh-huh.

613. - And I have like a little fluidity in my hips.

614. - OK. Your section happens to be a little fast.

615. - OK. - I don't want it to scare you.

616. - OK. - But you're going to kick.

617. One and two, and three and four.

618. - Yes. - Yes.

619. - Shit.

620. - So you can watch me do it. - All right.

621. - I'm just gonna go, one and two,

622. and three and four. - Fuck me.

623. One and two, and three and four.

624. - Almost. And four is missing.

625. - So it's like, one and two, and three and four.

626. Oh, shit. - Almost.

627. - And one and two and— almost.

628. Five, six, seven, eight, go, kick.

629. - Shit. Already fucked up. - That's OK. That's OK.

630. Plane Jane is in her head and it's never good.

631. You have to get out of your head.

632. Five, six, seven, kick, one and two and three.

633. Ah, you went a little ahead of it.

634. - OK.

635. - Plane lives in a place of delusion that

636. doesn't allow for her to think

637. anything less of herself, which I love.

638. However, this is funk and you can't fake the funk.

639. - One and two, and three and four.

640. - Based off that rehearsal,

641. Plane needs that immunity potion today.

642. - [high-pitched] Eee, banana.

643. - Doo-doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo-doo, bah!

644. - Let's go.

645. - Doo-doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo-doo, bah!

646. - Today, we'll be performing the new drag anthem "Power"

647. in front of Ru, Jamal, and the rest of the judges.

648. I'm ready to funk it up, honey.

649. - How are you feeling, girl, about this challenge?

650. - I say this every week, but this time,

651. I feel like this is the one where I'm gonna be in the top.

652. - Oh, she's feeling confident today.

653. - Yeah, don't you— wouldn't you agree?

654. - That this is the one where you're gonna be in the top?

655. - Yeah. - I don't know if I'd go

656. that far, but— - Wow.

657. - How are you feeling, Plane?

658. - Well, you know, I'm gonna kill the challenge.

659. I don't need to say it.

660. It's just a feeling that I'm embodying,

661. and I'm living in it.

662. - I thought you were a little bit—

663. during rehearsal, you were serving a little bit,

664. uh, rickety bones, mama.

665. - Honey, I may be giving you rickety bones out of drag,

666. but in drag, honey, it's the full fantasy.

667. - Plane is 1,000% overly confident

668. to a point where it's reaching delusion.

669. I'll let her be high in the clouds,

670. because once that balloon pops,

671. she's gonna be on the floor

672. and we're all gonna be laughing at you.

673. - This challenge has been

674. a bit of an emotional roller coaster for me.

675. - Oh, wow. - Yeah.

676. I wrote a lot of my verses about, like,

677. being in therapy and healing your inner child.

678. And it's brought up a lot of feelings of, like,

679. the way that mental health has kind of shaped my life.

680. In the words of my therapist,

681. I have general anxiety disorder,

682. depressive tendencies,

683. severe and acute OCD,

684. and ADHD.

685. I think it's so powerful to, like,

686. understand that it's OK to, like, be imperfect,

687. and it's OK to grow, and it's OK to, like, ask for help.

688. Because I think that a lot of people are like,

689. no, I'm fine, and I don't want, like, medication.

690. And it's like, OK, like, being born

691. with a certain set of chemicals and a precondition...

692. - Doesn't make you weak. - For neuroses—yeah.

693. Like, if anything, I think it makes you more powerful.

694. - To really face it. - Yeah.

695. Mental illness doesn't go away.

696. But being able to talk to a therapist

697. allows me to navigate the world

698. in a way to where it doesn't have to feel so painful.

699. We need to feel those negative emotions,

700. but it's about being able to move through life with them.

701. It's a shitty thing to deal with,

702. but it's made me who I am, so I'm proud of it.

703. - Aw, as you should.

704. - Thank you.

705. - Plane Jane. - Yeah.

706. - You know how beautiful I think you are, right?

707. - Oh, my God. - Right.

708. Sister, are you feeling worried about your,

709. you know, underwhelming verse?

710. - No, I'm just very thirsty. - Ooh!

711. - Oh. - Just so thirsty

712. for juices from you.

713. - Oh, OK.

714. So this immunity potion is about to expire today.

715. And of course Nymphia is, yet again,

716. pleading and begging for a sip of that immunity.

717. And honestly, I don't blame her.

718. - Do you think you're feeling generous today?

719. - Well, I don't know, sister.

720. - We're week two sisters.

721. You have to be loyal to your group.

722. - Right. We'll see, girl.

723. Time will tell.

724. - Shady girl.

725. - Plane doesn't look like she wants

726. to give the potion to anybody.

727. I don't think Plane wants

728. to give it to Nymphia specifically.

729. I think Plane would rather dump it in the garbage

730. than give it to Nymphia.

731. - So what do you guys think about, like,

732. the importance of like, voting, like, especially,

733. like, the political climate of the country?

734. - More important than ever.

735. - I feel like to a lot of people,

736. voting is just like, who is your presidential candidate.

737. Right? - Yeah.

738. - But that is not everything that matters,

739. especially when the local governments

740. are the ones that are kind of, like,

741. robbing people of their ability to vote.

742. - Mm-hmm. - So if we don't vote

743. at local levels, then it won't matter,

744. because they won't be able to have a voice.

745. - Amen. Are y'all up on your, like,

746. local representatives?

747. - Yeah. I think it's important to know

748. who is on the ballot. - Right.

749. - Get to know who's doing what and what they're known for.

750. - Because it matters a lot.

751. - Yeah. - Bitch.

752. This shits getting real.

753. And we need to get out there and vote.

754. - If these candidates that are trying to limit human rights

755. stop winning their elections,

756. then maybe they'll stop running.

757. - One of the reasons why they keep winning

758. is because they vote.

759. - And that's the problem with our community.

760. - Our community gets overwhelmed.

761. And they're like, oh, I can't do it.

762. And then they don't vote,

763. and then they get mad about what happened.

764. And it's like, well, did you vote?

765. "No."

766. The reality that queer Americans are facing

767. is that, as safe as we thought we were,

768. we're not nearly as safe.

769. We cannot be apathetic in any way, shape, or form.

770. So we need to stand up

771. and gather all of our supporters and our allies,

772. and use our power to vote.

773. - She is feeling it.

774. - Welcome to the main stage of "RuPaul's Drag Race."

775. It's power top Michelle Visage.

776. - Actually, Ru, I'm vers—

777. as in Versace.

778. - Ross Matthews, now what's your special power?

779. - I can swallow a bottomless mimosa

780. in a single gulp.

781. - With your mouth?

782. - I didn't say that.

783. - And welcome the mayor of Funky Town, Jamal Sims.

784. - Tonight, we are one nation under a groove.

785. - All right.

786. , brother.

787. This week, we challenged our queens

788. to inspire we the people

789. with the drag anthem "Power."

790. Racers, start your engines,

791. and may the best drag queen win.

792. - And now, the world debut of "Power."

793. - Y'all ready for a therapy session?

794. Here we go.

795. - Ooh, la única...

796. Y'all better get up and mother-tucking vote

797. 'cause it's getting serious up in here.

798. - Ooh, it's getting windy.

799. Miss Jane if you're nasty.

800. - All right, kids, let me learn you something.

801. Ow! Let's vote.

802. - Bring that back. Let's go!

803. One, two, three, and up and go!

804. - You ain't ready, baby.

805. - Wow.

806. See "Power" performed live

807. on the "RuPaul's Drag Race" Werq the World Tour.

808. Get details now at VossEvents.com.

809. Category is True Colors.

810. Up first, Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige.

811. All right, Patti LaBelle, here's something else for you.

812. - Red is my favorite color because it screams sexy.

813. It makes me feel like a slut.

814. Baby, I'm giving you appliqués.

815. I'm giving you feathers at the bottom.

816. And on top of my ass,

817. I'm just giving pure fierceness.

818. - If you stay red, you ain't got to get red.

819. - Exactly.

820. - Back feathers?

821. - That's how you shake your tail feather.

822. - Oh, yeah.

823. Nymphia Wind.

824. How much for one banana?

825. - I had a long, long, long, very hard

826. long thought of what color I should have chose.

827. I was between light yellow,

828. marigold, light yellow.

829. Well, I chose banana yellow.

830. I have these bananas on my boobs,

831. you know, a bit of like Josephine Baker banana skirt.

832. It's very camp. It's very fun.

833. I'm basically a delicious banana tree

834. waiting to be plucked and digested.

835. - You know who would love this look?

836. - Who? - Banana Wintour.

837. Plane Jane.

838. Oh, I've got a toothache and a headache

839. and an ass-ache.

840. - Green represents nature,

841. and it represents money and opulence.

842. And I'm very in tune with all of the above.

843. I am just giving you

844. crystallized pageant perfection.

845. There are hundreds of green stones cascading

846. into geometrical patterns over a mesh illusion.

847. And my body looks like it's been sculpted

848. by Aphrodite herself.

849. - Just in from Emerald Titty.

850. - She makes me want to eat my greens.

851. - Sapphira.

852. - That's that Bridgerton blue.

853. - Slue-foot? More like blue foot.

854. - I am blue from head to toe,

855. but not just any kind of blue, royal blue.

856. I'm channeling Queen Charlotte.

857. I have a huge circle skirt.

858. I am as wide as I am tall.

859. I have the tallest blue wig

860. that had ever been on this stage probably ever.

861. Baby, I am giving you everything you want

862. and a little bit more.

863. - This week, the role of Evillene in "The Wiz"

864. will be performed by Marge Simpson.

865. Dawn.

866. Would you like to come up for a nightcap?

867. - It's the longest nightcap in history.

868. - Tonight on the runway, I am serving sleepy bedtime friend.

869. It is completely made out of materials

870. that I would have found in my childhood bedroom.

871. We have navy blue corduroy, because navy blue is my safe.

872. It's my calm when my brain gets all blah-la-la-lah.

873. Oh, my God, is she a little spooky tonight too?

874. Ooh!

875. - Was she a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare?

876. - Mm.

877. Q.

878. - That's what I call a brim job.

879. - Mm-hmm.

880. - I am wearing lavender.

881. It just makes me feel really pretty.

882. I'm wearing a really large fringe hat.

883. It has so much movement when I walk.

884. And then I have these really fantastic wide-leg pants

885. that I made that have all this pleated ruffling

886. with all this, like, beaded lavender fringe.

887. Gives like a really nice sparkle as I walk.

888. If I'm gonna do a solid color, I'm gonna give you layers.

889. I'm gonna give you texture. I'm gonna give you silhouette.

890. I'm gonna give you drama,

891. 'cause there's nothing boring about Q.

892. - Ruffles, I can never have just one.

893. - I know. I can't either.

894. - Here comes the rain again.

895. - Swish swish, bish.

896. - Morphine.

897. - Ooh. Wow.

898. - It's eggplant season.

899. - It's always eggplant season, Ross.

900. - I chose the color royal purple

901. because it speaks just glamor, sex.

902. The hat is trimmed with ostrich feather trim,

903. dyed in a deep, deep, deep royal purple.

904. I stoned the entire outfit with Swarovski crystals.

905. I look naked, which you know, I love to show off my body.

906. I am just staring into that light.

907. I don't care if it's burning my cornea.

908. This is my Met Gala moment.

909. And I'm just serving it.

910. - She wears this hat when it's purple rain.

911. - Ladies, if I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times,

912. grow out your shin hair.

913. Welcome, queens.

914. Plane Jane,

915. this is your last chance before it expires.

916. Do you wish to use your immunity potion tonight?

917. This decision is tough, but it's now or never, baby.

918. Mama Ru, I would like to, in fact,

919. extend my kindness and generosity

920. to one of my sisters

921. and grant her immunity tonight if she would accept.

922. I would like to give this immunity potion to...

923. Nymphia Wind.

924. - Wow.

925. - Im gagged

926. - So you are extending a banana branch...

927. To Nymphia Wind?

928. - That's right. - Nymphia,

929. do you accept Plane Jane's gift of immunity?

930. - Yes, please.

931. - All right, bottoms up.

932. - Down the hatch, sister.

933. - Savor every drop.

934. - So, Nymphia, you are safe, and you may slay another day.

935. You may leave the stage.

936. - Thank you, guys.

937. - I'm a little shocked that

938. Plane gave her immunity to Nymphia,

939. because Plane is a rotten human being,

940. and I didn't think she would ever do that.

941. So that was nice of her.

942. She should have maybe used it on herself.

943. - All right, queens, so now it's time

944. for the judges' critiques.

945. Starting with Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige.

946. - In the "Power" performance, you were in your element.

947. It just—it felt like you were comfortable for the first time.

948. - Look at you on this runway tonight.

949. This is the best you've ever looked.

950. You're letting us have your neck.

951. I just felt really proud of you not only in the challenge,

952. but on this runway tonight.

953. - This is where you need to be to stay in this competition.

954. - Up next, Plane Jane.

955. - You were fun in the "Power" performance.

956. I like that your lyrics had some comedy.

957. And I thought you finished really strong

958. by, uh, fingering yourself.

959. - It's a good way to finish. - It's always good, yeah.

960. - But I will say this, this is the first time

961. I felt a little chink in the armor.

962. You seemed nervous.

963. And normally, I don't get that from you.

964. - When you got side by side,

965. and the funkier part started to come,

966. that's when it started to creep in.

967. But your verse, you shined.

968. - This runway tonight, you look beautiful.

969. Your padding is always so on point.

970. It is exquisite.

971. - Casper Mattress is gonna come give you

972. a little bit of endorsement,

973. 'cause them hips is made for sleeping on.

974. - Hey.

975. Up next, Sapphira.

976. - You were so funk-dafied.

977. You know the feeling.

978. You got the references.

979. - That was your stage.

980. It was like we were all paying rent 'cause you owned it.

981. - You know, the first thing I noticed

982. was them dancing biscuits.

983. They were sequined tonight.

984. Come on, dancing biscuits.

985. The way you wrote your lyrics, you did this Rick James swoop

986. in the "love for you" line.

987. It was like we were speaking the same language.

988. I got it.

989. - What lyric are you most proud of?

990. - Probably "if we lift every voice together."

991. It was my hearken to "Lift Every Voice and Sing."

992. - I loved it. I was eating out of the palm

993. of your hand and I was coming back for dessert.

994. And you know, when you come down this runway,

995. you always have a sense of levity and laughter.

996. - This is such a statement

997. of how you do this thing called drag.

998. And I kind of love it.

999. - Up next,

1000. duh-duh-duh-Dawn.

1001. - You were the "white men can't funk" moment.

1002. But here's the thing, you look adorable,

1003. and you gave it a good go.

1004. Listen, the white folks in the audience,

1005. they can relate to you.

1006. Because no soul was detected.

1007. - But it funking worked.

1008. And you know what it was?

1009. It was because your joy was there.

1010. - You have your own brand of funk.

1011. What would you call that brand of funk?

1012. - White woman of suburban descent.

1013. - Ooh. Ooh.

1014. - You did take a huge undertaking

1015. with all of those lyrics,

1016. but they were very deep and very profound.

1017. And that tells us a lot about who you are as an artist.

1018. - And tonight, this sleepy, creepy thing,

1019. I like it. I like the shape.

1020. I like the little cutouts on the side.

1021. - I don't know what the fuck you are,

1022. but this is just a weirdo-queerdo type of drag,

1023. and that's what makes you you.

1024. - Up next, Q.

1025. - My favorite outfit of the week

1026. is your red outfit from the "Power" performance.

1027. It was so hot.

1028. And the extraordinary look was the perfect thing to wear...

1029. To distract us from the fact

1030. that this is not your strength.

1031. - It was like, I'm gonna blind these bitches with a look

1032. so they don't get too into me walking.

1033. But it worked, Q.

1034. And this, tonight, I like the dripping on the hat.

1035. I'm not sure about the way the stuff flows from the boobs.

1036. I'm not sure if it's flattering.

1037. But I like the glint.

1038. - Thank you.

1039. - Up next, Morphine.

1040. - Hello. - I've been waiting

1041. for more Morphine, OK?

1042. I sound like Michelle after she got her tits out.

1043. More morphine!

1044. But tonight, I got it.

1045. - Oh. - I'm on a morphine high.

1046. - Throughout this competition,

1047. you've been kind of middle of the road.

1048. And tonight was the first night I really saw you shine.

1049. - I was not ready for this performance.

1050. In rehearsal, you were great.

1051. But on the stage, I was blown away.

1052. Every step was right on.

1053. - And this outfit makes me horny.

1054. It's so good.

1055. The color is perfection.

1056. - When it's right, it's right.

1057. So proud of you tonight.

1058. - Oh, my God, thank you. Thank you.

1059. - Queens, one final question,

1060. and please answer honestly.

1061. Are you registered to vote?

1062. Mhi'ya? - Yes.

1063. - Plane Jane? - Yes.

1064. - Sapphira? - Yes.

1065. - Dawn? - I am.

1066. - Q? - Yes, I am.

1067. - Morphine? - Absolutely, mama.

1068. - Did you know that 63 million eligible U.S. citizens

1069. are not registered to vote?

1070. The good news is, it's not too late.

1071. And remember, no social media post

1072. is as powerful as a registered vote.

1073. Thank you, Queens.

1074. While you enjoy delicious House of Love cocktails

1075. and mocktails in the Untucked Lounge,

1076. the judges and I will deliberate.

1077. All right, now, just between us squirrel-friends,

1078. I want to know what you have to say,

1079. starting with Mhi'ya.

1080. - She was the one that surprised me tonight

1081. because in rehearsals, she was so shy.

1082. But her performance was fierce.

1083. - In the "Power" performance,

1084. I just didn't love the look she chose.

1085. Like, the hair made her look like an Oompa Loompa.

1086. - Oompa Loompa.

1087. - Am I lying? - She was having a good night

1088. till you said Oompa Loompa.

1089. No, listen, this is a bitch who can take a licking

1090. and keep on ticking. - Yeah.

1091. - She fought week after week

1092. and earned this glow-up tonight.

1093. - Plane Jane.

1094. - Plane Jane looked like a pop star.

1095. When I saw her, I was like, whoa.

1096. Couldn't take my eyes off of her, as per uszh.

1097. But then she came out and she seemed really nervous

1098. and really stiff.

1099. And I thought, huh, this is weird for Jane.

1100. - Well, you know, Jane is a perfectionist.

1101. And I think that that can actually

1102. inhibit her from time to time.

1103. - Interesting that on a night when she kind of had

1104. some cracks showing, she didn't drink her potion.

1105. But I'll tell you this, even Jane's bad

1106. is still really good. - Yeah.

1107. Sapphira.

1108. - There was an embodiment of funk.

1109. I didn't see her counting. I didn't see her thinking.

1110. I just saw her being funk on that stage.

1111. - She knows what she's doing.

1112. The athleticism, that side split,

1113. to turn up and jump up onto her feet, she's got it.

1114. - And then tonight on the runway,

1115. she flipped the script

1116. with the Marge Simpson hair.

1117. I thought it was fantastic.

1118. And I love that color blue with the gold.

1119. - Dawn.

1120. - I love Dawn. - Yeah.

1121. - And I think it's because I have

1122. the exact amount of funk that she has.

1123. - I watched her do her thing.

1124. And then I said,

1125. slay that funky music, white queen.

1126. - But she made it work tonight.

1127. - Yeah, she killed it in her way.

1128. - And it's interesting. That runway was fascinating.

1129. - I love the way Dawn does drag.

1130. Tonight, I thought it was quintessentially Dawn.

1131. - Q.

1132. - Q stands for questionable funk.

1133. But you know, she also pulled it off.

1134. And I don't— that's a miracle that you did

1135. somehow with that choreography, but it really worked.

1136. - And the outfit was rock.

1137. Like, what she looked like

1138. helped sell the fantasy of the funk.

1139. - The runway tonight, hat'swhat I'm talking about.

1140. It is about that hat moment, that drama thing.

1141. Who cares about the rest of it? That hat is everything.

1142. - I would love to have seen a different silhouette

1143. underneath the hat, but I was fine with that.

1144. Morphine.

1145. - The 305 came out tonight.

1146. Like, that heat.

1147. Like when Beyoncé is performing in a group,

1148. your eye always goes to her,

1149. and that's how I was feeling about Morphine tonight.

1150. That's how you do it.

1151. - I agree. Morphine was great.

1152. If Teena Marie is behind the groove,

1153. Morphine is inside the groove. - OK.

1154. Tonight on the runway, I really do love

1155. what she did with that cape.

1156. It was so, so beautiful.

1157. - And my favorite thing that I get to see on this show

1158. is when they have been struggling to find their way,

1159. and then, boom, it just works for them.

1160. And tonight, that happened for Morphine.

1161. All right, silence.

1162. I've made my decision.

1163. Bring back my girls.

1164. Welcome back, queens.

1165. I've made some decisions.

1166. Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige, this week,

1167. the walls came tumbling down.

1168. You are safe.

1169. - Thank you.

1170. - You may step to the back of the stage.

1171. Dawn, this week, you brought the funk,

1172. with a side of mayonnaise.

1173. You are safe.

1174. - Thank you.

1175. - Ooh, look at all that funk.

1176. Q, this week,

1177. you blinded us with your beauty.

1178. You're safe.

1179. - What is going on?

1180. - You may join the other girls.

1181. - Thank you.

1182. Oh, my God.

1183. - Plane Jane,

1184. this week, you were slightly overpowered by Nymphia.

1185. - You are safe.

1186. - What is happening?

1187. I'm being punked. I'm being punked.

1188. I'm being punked.

1189. - That means Sapphira,

1190. Morphine, my dears,

1191. you are the top two queens of the week.

1192. - Oh, my God.

1193. I'm not going to get emotional because

1194. this just feels correct.

1195. This is exactly what I came here to do.

1196. And it's— and it's be in the top, OK?

1197. - Through the spirit of united we stand, and divided we fall.

1198. Tonight, no one is going home.

1199. - Oh, my God.

1200. - But there will be only one winner.

1201. Two Queens stand before me.

1202. Ladies, this is your chance to impress me

1203. and win a cash tip of $5,000.

1204. The time has come for you to

1205. Lip Sync for the Win.

1206. Of course, the one time I'm at the top,

1207. I have to Lip Sync for the Win.

1208. But one thing about me, I'm a lip-syncher.

1209. - I'm ready to own this lip sync.

1210. - Good luck,

1211. and don't fuck it up.

1212. - Oh.

1213. - Oh!

1214. - Serve.

1215. - Hey.

1216. - Ladies, I've made my decision.

1217. - Sapphira,

1218. you're a winner, baby.

1219. Condragulations.

1220. - Whoo! Baby, baby, baby.

1221. I am so happy that I have my second win.

1222. It's about damn time.

1223. - You won a cash prize of $5,000.

1224. - Morphine, you are safe to slay another day.

1225. - Thank you. Gracias.

1226. - Oh. - Condragulations, Queens.

1227. And remember, if you cannot love yourself,

1228. how in the hell are you going to love somebody else?

1229. Can I get an amen up in here?

1230. Amen!

1231. - Now, let the music play.

1232. - Next time on "RuPaul's Drag Race"...

1233. - I want you to come up with

1234. your own Drag Awareness Employee Seminar.

1235. - We'd like you to take a look at the following slides.

1236. - We are way—inclu—

1237. we are extreme narcissists.

1238. - Here are some keys to...

1239. disregard—or disalarm.

1240. - So you want to do this right now?

1241. So let's fucking do this. - Ooh!

1242. - You're a creature from the black lagoon

1243. that needs to go back into the depth.

1244. You look a fool doodoo clown mess.
