238. Like, I was willing to let go of my personal triumphs

239. to just have, like, that quick fix

240. of being liked by everyone.

242. I was really trying to get down deep,

243. and it really came to acceptance

244. as a child from my family, and my mom particularly.

245. Everything I did...

246. was always just to, like, have my mom

247. say she loves me, and, like, I would never get it.

248. And all the pageants I do

250. has just been for them to say that they're proud of me.

251. And I'll never get it from my mom.

253. When did that realization come?

254. It actually happened... it was a growing process

255. from when my father had passed away

256. about six years ago.

257. He had hung himself at 80.

260. He was like my biggest ally, and...

262. Hardest thing I've ever had to deal with.

263. We just are left with so many questions...

264. because my father had actually left me

265. everything when he passed.

271. try and make meaning of life, and what does it all mean?

397. wanted, especially with, like, everything I've

398. been through with my family.

399. They've always kind of let me down.

400. I've had times in my life where I've literally had nothing.

403. I was not only making my drag family proud,

404. making my hometown proud, but making myself proud.

407. My drag mother is Chevelle Brooks.

408. She was one of the first big girls

411. She won Miss USofA 2000.

412. And she kind of like really changed drag

413. and the outlook on plus-sized drag entertainers.
