RuPaul's Drag Race 13x5

1. Previously onRuPaul's Drag Race...

2. You'll be starring in movies for the RuPaulmark Channel.

3. Ooh, come on, bitch!

4. - I am putting a wall factory

5. where a wall factory ought to be!

6. Why did you leaf me all these years ago?

7. Denali.

8. I think you could have gone way further with it.

9. - Kahmora Hall. - You're so buttoned up,

10. and I feel like you struggle with that.

11. - Kandy Muse. - You were a joy to watch.

12. But your train look, it's a little too plain.

13. Symone.

14. This has never been done on a runway.

15. You are the Soul Train, I tell you.

16. You're the winner of this week's challenge.

17. Denali, shantay you stay.

18. Thanks.

19. Kahmora Hall, sashay away.

20. - Girl.

21. So we're back in the werkroom after Kahmora's elimination.

22. There it is.

23. And, oh, I'm devastated

24. that I had to send my closest friend home.

25. "Keep chasing the sparkle.

26. I love you ladies, Kahmora..."

27. Hall.

28. Now that Kahmora's gone home,

29. the competition is feeling definitely a lot more real.

30. It just fucking sucks,

31. because I know every single girl

32. is now looking at me as a bottom bitch.

33. I want these girls' respect

34. almost as much as I want to win this competition.

35. Girl, let me tell y'all,

36. being in that position is horrible.

37. - The bottom three? - The bottom three.

38. You know what's even worst? Lip syncing!

39. I still don't think you should have been in the bottom.

40. I don't either.

41. Hey, I'm not a judge.

42. Wait, then, Kandy,

43. who do you think would have been in the bottom?

44. I said earlier I thought Elliott should have been in the bottom.

45. Watching it back, I wasn't laughing, I wasn't kiki-ing.

46. I thought that her group was stronger than she was,

47. and I thought that Denali and LaLa

48. were both stronger in their performance.

49. Really?

50. I'm here in this competition for a reason,

51. just as well as everybody else.

52. I was brought back 16 times for a reason.

53. So I'm sorry I wasn't your taste of the week.

54. She is not a judge.

55. She doesn't get to decide why I was safe.

56. My job is to win.

57. It is not to listen to peasants

58. and what they have to say about me.

59. I was really happy to be in the top.

60. Top two, if I say so myself.

61. But being that close to "Con-drag-ulations,

62. you're the winner," and not winning,

63. it's like—I mean, I'm so happy that my sister won,

64. because you know, girl,

65. the bald-headed brigade is happening.

66. But right now, Symone has two wins under her belt,

67. and she is my biggest competition here right now.

68. No, no, no. No, no, no, no, no.

69. No, no. She's competition.

70. No, she's competition, but right now—

71. But she ain't your biggest.

72. You ain't seen us yet.

73. You know what? But from what I have seen,

74. my sister's already won two times.

75. So for me, she's my competition.

76. I get it. I get it. But she's not the biggest.

77. We all are here.

78. Well, we're gonna see.

79. I gotta bring you down a little bit now.

80. The only thing that stopped me from winning this week

81. was my look, so I know that next week,

82. when I come back with my looks

83. and storm the challenge once again...

84. - Okay. - I can win the challenge.

85. - Okay. - And be the winner.

86. How 'bout that?

87. If y'all feel that that is shade to y'all,

88. saying that y'all not big competition, baby,

89. then that's on y'all.

90. This is my competition right now.

91. Okay. Remember you said that.

92. Just because you did exceptionally well

93. in this particular challenge,

94. now all of a sudden you sitting beside Michelle.

95. No, bitch, get back over here in this line.

96. You number 12.

97. Take your original spot right back over here

98. with this twisted, busted wig on your head. Kapow.

99. We all met, and you said, "Ooh, this cast is spicy."

100. Baby, you are the Sriracha, bitch, okay?

101. Well...

102. Sriracha bitch.

103. Sriracha!

104. Tamisha works off of negative vibes,

105. and Kandy lit that fire for me.

106. And my thing is ain't no bitch gonna show me

107. what you don't know about me.

108. The pageant has started, so now we can battle.

109. Tamisha, just because you've been doing drag for 500 years

110. does not mean that you are better than me.

111. It's a thin line between confidence and arrogance,

112. and I can't stand that,

113. especially when you're not on my level.

114. If she don't shut the fuck up...

115. She gonna find herself a new enemy.

116. The winner ofRuPaul's Drag Race

117. receives a one-year supply

118. of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics

119. and a cash prize of $100,000.

120. With extra-special guest judge Nicole Byer.

121. Aah!

122. So it's a new day in the werkroom.

123. One girl has officially left the competition,

124. and being in the bottom three,

125. that kinda gave me a little kick in the ass

126. to get my shit together.

127. Because you could easily be out the door, girl,

128. in the blink of an eye.

129. I blink two eyes, but, bitch...

130. Hello, hello, hello!

131. Ladykins, guess what?

132. I'm throwing a birthday party

133. to celebrate the inner child that lives in each of you.

134. Hi, baby!

135. So for today's mini-challenge,

136. you need to shake, rattle, and roll for Baby Got Back.

137. You've got 20 minutes to get into quick baby drag.

138. Go!

139. Baby, baby, baby, baby!

140. These girls look psycho.

141. RuPaul, you got us doing some crazy baby shit.

142. Mwah.

143. All right, children, remember,

144. the most bouncin' and misbehavin' baby wins.

145. All right, let's get this birthday party started!

146. Hit it!

147. Now, first up, Kandy Muse.

148. Yes!

149. Ooh, she's a boss baby.

150. Now, that's a queen who likes to pamper herself.

151. - Aah! - Yes.

152. Baby wants a new daddy!

153. Ooh, who's a big girl now?

154. Yes!

155. I don't know why Rosé's baby is terrifying me.

156. There's someone on your back!

157. That's what I call a baby bump.

158. Ooh, her diaper rash is on fire!

159. Ain't nobody told LaLa that she is three years old.

160. She is a full-grown woman.

161. We heard the music,

162. and she go, oh, bitch, this is the twerk.

163. Her milk bottle brings all the toys to the yard.

164. Ooh, Shirley Temple meets Shirley Temple!

165. Now, you were all cutie-patooties,

166. but I really went gaga for one of you.

167. LaLa Ri, you are a winner, baby.

168. You've won a $2,500 gift card from FierceQueen.com.

169. - All right! - Whoo!

170. Now, queens, for this week's maxi-challenge,

171. we're throwing a ball.

172. - Yes! - Whoo!

173. A bag ball.

174. That's right, you need to serve three bag-nificent looks.

175. Now, look number one is Mixed Bag,

176. a punny look of your choice

177. that includes the word "bag" in its description.

178. Look number two, Money Bags,

179. a boss bitch look that says "I own everything."

180. Opulence!

181. And look number three, from scratch,

182. you need to design and create

183. a high fashion, show-stopping look

184. that's made entirely out of bags.

185. Oh, my God.

186. As in grocery bags, sleeping bags,

187. duffel bags, teabags, and things of that nature.

188. Lordy, I am feeling a little shaken up.

189. I am not a seamstress,

190. and I have presented myself so well on the runway.

191. And I don't want the look that I personally make

192. to not be up to par.

193. All right, racers, start your engines,

194. and may the best bag queen win!

195. Coming up...

196. Is it cute?

197. You kind of look like Dora the Explorer.

198. Bitch.

199. This week's maxi-challenge is the Bag Ball, bitch.

200. Oh, no! I don't even know what I have.

201. They're animals. I'm basically left with these drawstring bags.

202. I was not prepared for Drag Race

203. to turn into fucking WWE up in this gig.

204. So what are your ideas, darling?

205. I originally wanted to use the pink beanbag.

206. After Miss Double T jumped in like a flying squirrel,

207. almost knocked me over, I found these bookbags,

208. and, like, I think they're just really colorful

209. and, like, girly and really playful.

210. Right now I'm thinking to myself,

211. all right, book bags, really, like, bright colors.

212. What am I thinking, what am I thinking?

213. Hmm, book bags.

214. School. First day of school.

215. Ho. First day of college semester.

216. Imma be a ho!

217. I was in the top last week.

218. I don't wanna be in the bottom this week.

219. - Right. - No, ma'am, I wanna win.

220. And my look got me through, so...

221. - Ooh!

222. This ball definitely makes me a little bit nervous,

223. because last week on the runway,

224. my ass got read down for my fucking dress.

225. I don't wanna repeat that again.

226. I definitely wanna win a challenge,

227. and if I can win the Bag Ball challenge...

228. The ball? Bitch...

229. Is there anybody you're worried about?

230. Oh, yeah, she's incredible.

231. Olivia also is really good.

232. - Look, the stakes are high. - Yeah.

233. And there's a lot going on, but just stick to yourself.

234. You're over here sewing up a storm.

235. I don't see much sewing happening over there, so...

236. We'll see who's using hot glue and Jesus.

237. Are you experienced with a sewing machine?

238. I am not.

239. If you need any assistance with the sewing machine—

240. Well, I need to help threading it—

241. Oh, here, it has an automatic threader.

242. - Really? - Yeah, so it comes down.

243. First you gotta go up into here.

244. This slant is where the bobbin goes.

245. Okay. So we take this off, this thread off?

246. Nope, you— let's just keep that.

247. Who would have thought that this was just this complicated,

248. to put together a sewing machine?

249. Done.

250. Thank you. Look at that.

251. - Your first bobbin! - Oh, my God, I just bobbed!

252. - You just bobbed! - Yes!

253. Come on, Miss LaLa, you bobbin.

254. Yes, I'm bobbin and weavin' over here!

255. I still don't know what the hell she's doing,

256. but I'm just acting like, yeah, girl, thank you.

257. Just finish this for me and let me boom, boom, boom.

258. Next season, girls, if you need a seamstress, call me.

259. I'm available.

260. So I get to sewing, and boom, bitch, I break the machine.

261. Bitch, oh, they're about to eliminate me right now.

262. I done broke these people's nice little machine, girl.

263. First round, machine.

264. Round two, let's go.

265. I don't know what to do, because this doesn't bend.

266. - You know what I mean? - Let me see.

267. I feel like you need to cut this off

268. and then cut panels like this.

269. And then you could put, like, rope in between.

270. Mm, I'm nervous.

271. I am kind of spiraling out right now

272. because I don't have the sewing skills

273. to do what I would actually want to do.

274. You could do, like, a panty with it,

275. and then, like, do, like, a rope, like, belt fringe thing.

276. Ooh, that could be a moment.

277. Symone is stressing out about this challenge,

278. which is so weird,

279. because she is one of the most beautiful girls

280. I've ever seen in my life.

281. She really has this inner situation

282. that really gets to her, and that needs to go.

283. I just need to get her back into that headspace

284. to remember that she's that bitch.

285. I feel like we'll just attempt to sew you into it.

286. That makes me nervous.

287. It does, but you're gonna have to.

288. It doesn't have any stretch.

289. You can't slide into that.

290. I am literally— I'm scared shitless right now.

291. I wanna know the tea. Hold on. Miss LaLa?

292. - Huh? - I heard that she was the one

293. that put you in drag for the first time.

294. This is true.

295. - What? - Yes, girl.

296. Miss Tamisha!

297. She put me in drag many, many years ago, honey.

298. - So she's your drag mama. - Yeah.

299. But I didn't really take it serious

300. until, like, years later.

301. But she took a tour that day.

302. Tamisha Iman took me under her wings, like, a few years back

303. as, like, her drag child.

304. But we haven't really talked in years,

305. so I feel like we're both here for a reason.

306. I feel like that reason is for us to reconnect.

307. It was, like, what, five years?

308. - Yeah. - A five-year, like, break.

309. Imans are known for dancing.

310. You can tell that's an Iman right away.

311. While I was getting bucked.

312. Any time I put a new face or a new baby in drag,

313. they become one of my kids, you know.

314. so LaLa was an Iman for that day, you know.

315. But LaLa is not an original Iman.

316. I don't want the kids back home

317. to say, "That bitch ain't no Iman."

318. But she is always gonna be an Iman at heart,

319. so I'm still the first drag mother,

320. and it's just— it is what it is.

321. I'm looking around at these girls.

322. I think Symone has, like, a bra and panty set.

323. Where's Waldo Girl.

324. I'm really curious to see how LaLa does.

325. I think she had to, like—

326. She ran out of something. She had to change something.

327. So I came up with a plan B.

328. So I look at the bags,

329. I said, well, bitch, you can hot-glue these together

330. and make, like, a cute little dress.

331. So I started to hot-glue the bags together.

332. As I'm hot-gluing the bags,

333. I realize that it's getting less and less and less.

334. And I get to a point where I realize, bitch,

335. oh, you ain't got enough material to cover this body.

336. Aah.

337. Aah.

338. I'm just gonna pray on it.

339. Lord, bitch—not bitch.

340. You know you're not a bitch, Lord.

341. Lord, girl, can you please help me out,

342. because I didn't come here to be a bottom bitch.

343. So can you give me some type of truth or knowledge

344. to surpass all of these next challenges?

345. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

346. Coming up...

347. So you gonna bring two little scraps.

348. The struggle is real.

349. I want to be weirder than Carol Burnett,

350. scarier than Tim Burton,

351. and all in one big pblblbl.

352. Okay.

353. So this week's maxi-challenge

354. is the mother fucking Bag Ball,

355. and we are all so excited.

356. So this is gonna be real interesting.

357. Anybody got a needle? Mine just broke.

358. Is it cute?

359. You kind of look like Dora the Explorer.

360. So, ladies, who's been to the ball before?

361. I'm a big fan of ballroom.

362. Big, big, big, big, big fan of ballroom.

363. It's an actual great place

364. to where if you don't fit in anywhere,

365. a ball has so many different categories

366. to where they welcome you in.

367. Girl, I wanna go so bad.

368. We don't have—like, we don't have any in my city.

369. To hear Utica say, "Well, I don't understand a ball,"

370. I was, like, okay.

371. this is my Jack Mizrahi moment, you know?

372. Let me bring a little ballroom to the room.

373. The category is drag queen.

374. Bring it to the runway!

375. I have admired balls since before I admired drag.

376. Catwalk, catwalk, catwalk.

377. - Werk! - Werk!

378. Because of just the pioneers of the ballroom scene.

379. I used to hear a lot about Willi Ninja and Leiomy.

380. She was a lot like Tandi.

381. She had no fear.

382. Aow!

383. That's it?

384. - I got a bad knee. - Oh, okay.

385. Category...

386. Now, that's a ball.

387. Now you can't say you ain't seen no balls.

388. Hey, squirrel friends!

389. - Hi! - Hi!

390. Has anyone seen my bag?

391. - Which one? - I cut it up.

392. All right, Kandy and Symone, come on down.

393. Hi.

394. Kandy, you are always in them short-shorts.

395. I just love showing off my body.

396. Okay. So, Kandy, sell me on your ball presentation.

397. Well, first and foremost,

398. I'm gonna be a magician on the main stage.

399. I'm gonna be pulling some tricks outta my bag literally.

400. Oh, really?

401. There will be no undergarments showing,

402. I promise you that.

403. Only body.

404. So now, Symone, you won last week.

405. I did.

406. Are these other bitches coming for you, because—

407. - They're coming. - Are they?

408. With knives and bats and things.

409. - I feel it, I feel it.

410. But that's all right. It's a competition.

411. What can you expect?

412. - That's what you're here for. - Yeah.

413. The only thing I worry about with someone like you

414. is how deep your saboteur might be, you know.

415. Because it's as clever as you are,

416. and that's the part that it sort of hurts my heart a little bit.

417. Yeah, it's crazy that you say that,

418. because this challenge—

419. Of course, I don't know how to sew.

420. I was like, you know what? You have to make it work.

421. You just have to push forward and do what you know you can do,

422. and work with what you have.

423. This is something that happens in this room a lot,

424. is the negotiating the other voice in your head,

425. and knowing to not listen to it.

426. The struggle is real, by the way.

427. The struggle is real. What you have to focus on

428. is what you know to be the truth.

429. And I hope that these other girls

430. are listening to this conversation,

431. because I've been standing at this table for 100 years,

432. and it comes up every single time.

433. What are your musings on that, Kandy?

434. I love it.

435. I don't know what the hell I just said,

436. but Miss Thing is over here gagging her life.

437. That's fine with me. Let her laugh.

438. Thanks, ladies.

439. Thanks, mother darling.

440. All right, Gottmik and Utica.

441. Here I come!

442. Oh, so you gonna bring two little scraps.

443. I mean, gorg.

444. What do you think I'm wearing?

445. So tell me about your ball extravaganza.

446. Do you know how to sew?

447. I did go to fashion school, so, yeah.

448. Really? Where? Here in Los Angeles?

449. Yeah, I went to FIDM, so I have the basics,

450. but I haven't really practiced

451. in a couple years since then, so...

452. Where does your style aesthetic come from?

453. I'm really inspired by art, and I'm a painter.

454. I'm inspired by shapes

455. and rearranging how, like, the human face should look,

456. and putting things where they shouldn't be,

457. and making it look all distorted and weird.

458. Yeah. Is that, like, a G-string something?

459. No, it's gonna be

460. a little, like, corsetry artistry happening.

461. Okay.

462. It's really showing my body, which I love.

463. My waist is gonna be so smashed.

464. I'm just gonna be feeling it.

465. Well, that sounds fantastic.

466. And now, Utica, tell me about your fashion aesthetic.

467. Weirder than Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball,

468. scarier than Tim Burton,

469. and like a little bit of Alexander McQueen,

470. and all in one big pblblbl.

471. Oh, I love that.

472. You make outfits professionally?

473. I do. I make costumes for fire dancers,

474. aerialists, contortionists. Um—

475. So you use a sewing machine.

476. Oh, yeah. These are actually the same ones I have at home.

477. - You're kidding. - Yeah.

478. Is that a sleeping bag?

479. - It's a sleeping bag. - Uh-huh?

480. I'm really excited. I think it's gonna be cool.

481. It's gonna be a bunch of these different panels and gores,

482. and I want it to be as full

483. and as just delightful as possible.

484. I dig it.

485. - I'm like...

486. Well, I can't wait to see you at the ball.

487. All right, Joey Jay and LaLa Ri.

488. - Hi, there. - Hello!

489. The bags are in the house.

490. Where's your style aesthetic come from?

491. I've always kind of leaned towards, like,

492. edgy, butch queen realness,

493. sort of a little bit lipstick lesbian.

494. - Ooh! - Little whip crack,

495. little explosion, dance mega-mix the house down,

496. boots back, bareback.

497. Sure, and those boots back are scrunch boots, aren't they?

498. Uh, yes.

499. - Yeah, a lot of times.

500. Are you talking about this scrunchy boot?

501. This scrunchy boot the house down?

502. You want me to play the scrunchy boot for you?

503. I'm gonna start you

504. - with an IV bag. - Ooh!

505. I'm very excited about that look.

506. It's gonna be kind of edgy.

507. Medical meets futuristic villain.

508. Well, you had me at medical, so...

509. Perfect.

510. Where does your style aesthetic come from?

511. Originally I was inspired by Beyoncé.

512. Beyoncé.

513. And a little bit of Grace Jones as well.

514. Yeah, I've heard of her.

515. And of course, the girls around Atlanta,

516. the pageant girls.

517. You know, Atlanta's big drag.

518. Oh, when I was there, it was the mecca of drag.

519. Do you think you have this one in the bag?

520. I hope I have this one in the bag.

521. Well, hoping and knowing is two different things.

522. I'm gonna give it the LaLa Ri experience.

523. - Oh, the LaLa Ri experience. - Yes.

524. The LaLa Ri experience, bitch, is en-tergy from—

525. yes, en-tergy from LaLa Ri.

526. You gonna get a look, you gonna get a performance,

527. you gonna get a moment, you gonna get a feel.

528. You gonna be thinking about it days on after.

529. Like, bitch, that ho made me feel good.

530. All right, kids, I will see you at the ball.

531. All right, thanks. See you then.

532. - Thank you so much. - Thank you.

533. All right, gather round.

534. Gather round, queens.

535. I've got one more thing to tell you.

536. To add opulence to your Miss Moneybags look,

537. you need to accessorize

538. using a fabulous Coach Create bag.

539. And here's creative director Stuart Vevers to explain.

540. Thank you, Ru.

541. For me, style is about self-expression,

542. which is why I came up with Coach Create,

543. a special design-it-yourself experience.

544. For this week's challenge,

545. we've taken one of my favorite designs,

546. the Tabby bag,

547. and sized it for a queen,

548. so you can step onto the runway purse-first.

549. Good luck!

550. Thanks, Stuart. Queens, I'll see you

551. and your Tabby bags at the ball.

552. So good luck, and don't fuck it up.

553. The RuPaul experience is out.

554. Coming up...

555. Joey, come here, Miss Thing.

556. I have the biggest crush on Joey Jay.

557. - Is this yours? - Yes.

558. - But Joey's taste level— - I feel good about it.

559. There's still a few things that I need to, like, do.

560. Yeah.

561. Ball time!

562. It is elimination day,

563. and it is time to get ready for the Bag Ball.

564. I'm looking around the room,

565. and a lot of girls are, like, doing very draggy silhouettes.

566. Mine is definitely more skimpy, fashion-forward vibes,

567. as opposed to, like, drag-drag,

568. which makes me a little bit nervous.

569. But I feel like I'm gonna win.

570. Let's go.

571. - Joey? - Yes, ma'am?

572. Come here, Miss Thing.

573. I don't know if y'all been catching on,

574. but I have the biggest crush on Joey Jay.

575. Any time he's in the werkroom I'm like, mm, hi, Joey.

576. - Is this yours? - Yes, this is mine.

577. But Joey's taste level...

578. I feel like good about it.

579. There's still a few things that I need to, like, do.

580. Yeah.

581. She seems really confident with her look.

582. I'm looking at the costume a little confused

583. as to what the hell I'm looking at.

584. I know it's not, like, the most exciting outfit,

585. but I think that once I can kind of snip the last few things,

586. it's gonna be a clean outfit.

587. Joey, if you wanna quit drag,

588. we can get married, I can win the competition,

589. and I can sustain both of us.

590. Because...

591. Oh!

592. So I have a question.

593. What's the tea?

594. So with the whole Black Lives Matter movement going on,

595. has anyone been protesting?

596. Yeah, for sure.

597. When all the marches and protests

598. in New York City were happening,

599. I made sure I was out there protesting.

600. Being an Afro-Latino from the South Bronx,

601. when I see Black people being murdered by police,

602. it just puts so many things into perspective.

603. Fighting for Black lives

604. is very, very important to me.

605. Of course, we all know the George Floyd thing

606. that really, like, sparked all this shit.

607. - Yeah. - And thank God.

608. I mean, like, not since that—

609. It's sad that that had to happen,

610. but I'm happy that people are waking the fuck up,

611. because it's always been there.

612. Being Black and seeing the George Floyd video

613. being played over and over and over again,

614. there's a level of trauma that comes with that shit.

615. So even with corona going on, I felt immediately compelled

616. to be involved in protests here in Los Angeles.

617. Because enough is enough. Things need to change.

618. I don't know if you guys heard about

619. the whole Rayshard Brooks thing

620. that happened in Atlanta that got all of this press.

621. Well, that actually happened,

622. like, two minutes away from my house.

623. - What? - Oh, my God, girl.

624. Like, at the Wendy's that I go to on a daily basis.

625. This situation happened, and it kind of scared me,

626. because I'm, like, that could have been me.

627. - That could have been you. - Easily. You know what I mean?

628. It kind of just really hit me

629. that I could easily be in that drive-thru,

630. and there could be a situation

631. where they pull me over just because I look like

632. I don't belong in that type of car.

633. It's a fear that a lot of Black and Brown people live with.

634. Like, it's not a fucking game or it's not a joke.

635. It's really not.

636. I don't know how it escalated

637. from him saying that he can just walk to somebody's house

638. to him being shot.

639. That's crazy to me, how it went from—ooh—

640. how it went from...

641. Now I'm gonna cry.

642. You can just be a Black person in this world,

643. and you can just get killed for nothing.

644. Like...

645. It's just—it's scary that you could just get killed

646. just because of the color of your skin.

647. Like...

648. The thing about the fight

649. is Black people been fighting to show who they are for years,

650. and it took one incident

651. for others to realize that we all are still one.

652. Oh, yeah.

653. I think that's the most inspiring thing

654. that came out of New York, is, like, to see the support

655. to show up, even during, like, COVID.

656. You may be scared to leave your house,

657. but think about, like, people of color

658. and, like, transgender people

659. who have been scared their whole lives

660. to, like, leave their front door,

661. to, like, walk down the street.

662. Yeah, true.

663. The Black Lives Matter movement is moving,

664. but the trans lives, we losing them left and right.

665. - Yeah. - And it's not being recognized,

666. and it's not being talked about and covered like it should.

667. Statistically, Black trans lives are the most at-risk.

668. - Uh-huh! - Yeah, Olivia.

669. That is true.

670. I think we're headed in the right direction,

671. but I really do think we got a lot more work to be done.

672. We have to understand that we are one,

673. and we fight as one and we fail as one.

674. Well, girls, now we know

675. what to do when we leave this competition.

676. We have to use our voices and do the right thing.

677. - Amen. - Absolutely.

678. So use that platform wisely.

679. And get in some good trouble!

680. Come on!

681. And what?

682. Welcome to the main stage of RuPaul's Drag Race.

683. Michelle Visage. Now, if you were a bag,

684. what kind of bag would you be?

685. Well, we're in Hollywood,

686. so I'd be a plastic bag, darling.

687. Style superstar Carson Kressley, same question.

688. Oh, Ru, I'd be a teabag.

689. Because you like spilling the tea?

690. Uh... sure. Yeah, we can go with that.

691. And let's welcome back the fabulous Nicole Byer.

692. What kind of bag would you be?

693. Well, Ru, I'd be a body bag,

694. because I got all this body-ody-ody.

695. Hey! This week, we challenged our queens

696. to serve three looks each to the Bag Ball.

697. Now, that's 36 looks.

698. Look, Ma. I can do math!

699. Just don't tell the IRS.

700. Racers, start your engines,

701. and may the best drag queen win!

714. Looks like she got rear-ended.

715. Lucky her.

716. Joey Jay, giving you IV Bag.

717. I'm wearing this rhinestone bodysuit,

718. and on top of that I made this syringe armor.

719. I've got my IV pole, and it's plugged into my veins.

747. She is living!

748. Assisted living.

749. Symone, giving you Fun Bags.

750. Oh, I didn't know old Michelle came in Black!

752. covered in sequins, coming down to the ground, honey.

754. with the biggest titties you ever did see.

755. Of course this is a Diana Ross reference,

756. but with a little bit of a twist to it.

1029. Bye-bye, blue balls, hello, silver balls.

1030. Tina Burner.

1031. All right, that's it, you're suspended.

1032. Bitch, I have taken a mother fucking beanbag

1033. and made a fucking dress.

1034. I got some suspenders on.

1035. Of course my signature colors, red and yellow.

1036. I know you wanna sit on this beanbag.

1037. Aow!

1038. It's Rhonda McDonald!

1039. Over one billion served.

1040. Kandy Muse.

1041. Ooh, what does she have in her Trapper-Keeper?

1042. Mm, trapper keep-her.

1043. I'm a naughty schoolgirl, bitch.

1044. I've chosen to go with bookbags

1045. and cut them up and make it into a skirt,

1046. and make a really cute bra.

1047. It is bright, it's colorful,

1048. it's first day of school realness.

1049. Bitch, fight me, and I'll take your lunch money.

1050. Meet me at the flagpole at 3:00.

1051. Crrrrck.

1052. Syracuse, Schenectady, Utica.

1053. Ooh.

1054. What's your sleep number, Michelle?

1055. Nine. I like it hard.

1056. I am so campy.

1057. I am walking down the runway as a sleeping bag couture

1058. and serving this ethereal starlet.

1059. I got these puffy sleeves, a fitted waist.

1060. I see the judges' eyes light up,

1061. and they are loving this garment.

1062. Kumbayahhh.

1063. Good night, Sun. Good night, Moon.

1064. Good night, Drag Queen!

1065. Coming up...

1066. Your mixed bag look, stunning.

1067. This is frightening, and I'm entertained.

1068. It was more like a campy nod versus drag.

1069. Welcome, queens.

1070. Based on your 36 Bag Ball looks,

1071. I've made some decisions.

1072. When I call your name, please step forward.

1073. Denali.

1074. Elliott With 2 Ts.

1075. Symone.

1076. Olivia Lux.

1077. Tina Burner.

1078. Kandy Muse.

1079. Ladies, you are safe.

1080. You may leave the stage.

1081. Ladies, you represent the tops and the bottoms of the week.

1082. Now it's time for the judges' critiques,

1083. starting with Joey Jay.

1084. I do wanna compliment you, first and foremost.

1085. You incorporated the Joey Jay signature natural hair,

1086. which I wasn't mad at.

1087. But it was fun to see you in different hairdos.

1088. With that said, here on the runway

1089. I can tell by looking at this you're not the sewer.

1090. Maybe more of a gluer?

1091. - You know it. - That sound right?

1092. So the construction is not the best,

1093. but I've definitely seen worse.

1094. Your first look, which was, I guess, Poison Ivy—

1095. - Was that the idea? - IV bag.

1096. Right, but didn't you have poison ivy,

1097. and the IV bag is an IV?

1098. - Yes, yes. - Okay. So it was poison ivy?

1099. No, it was just ivy, it wasn't poison ivy.

1100. - Get it? IV bag. - No, I know.

1101. I just thought that was the joke,

1102. that it was, like, poison IV.

1103. I was going for IV bag.

1104. Okay, we gotta let it go.

1105. Yeah, I'm gonna stop now. I'm overthinking.

1106. I liked the touch of floral.

1107. I wish it was poison IV and had more of a story.

1108. I thought it was poison IV bag.

1109. I thought it was, like, two puns in one.

1110. You know, like a two-for-one?

1111. So next time someone goes, "Ooh, was it a two-for-one?"

1112. Just say yes.

1113. You know, just lie.

1114. Yes!

1115. Up next, LaLa Ri.

1116. Your Mixed Bag look,

1117. I wish maybe you'd used the bones

1118. to create more of a pattern,

1119. just to give us a little bit more

1120. than that haphazard bones thrown on.

1121. - Okay. - Your Moneybags look,

1122. with that great multicolored cheetah print,

1123. that was really fun.

1124. And it allowed us to really see that clutch.

1125. It's called "featuring the merchandise," I believe.

1126. This look, stunning, all of this.

1127. We get down to the dress.

1128. Yeah, it's some bags that were glued onto a bodysuit.

1129. - Yeah, that's not gonna work. - Yeah.

1130. How come you didn't cut up them bags or do something?

1131. Well, originally I was making this

1132. into, like, a dress with just the bags.

1133. - Mm-hmm. - And then I ran out of bags,

1134. so I started gluing it onto the corset.

1135. But why not cut it or do something

1136. so they're not just literal bags glued to you?

1137. - Yeah. - Okay?

1138. So if something doesn't work,

1139. you've gotta have a plan B.

1140. Up next, Tamisha Iman.

1141. Yes, ma'am.

1142. Your old bag of bones I could relate to.

1143. I hope that that's me, you know, yeah, in the future.

1144. - It is. - Hey, not now! Calm down!

1145. But with that said,

1146. I think you focused more on the character

1147. than more about the drag in that.

1148. And then your Moneybags look,

1149. it was just, like, a nice business lady.

1150. I was like, oh, okay, she gonna fire somebody today.

1151. It was too much like real life,

1152. and I missed the theatricalness of it.

1153. This look, it's texture for days.

1154. I love that you used oversized sequins,

1155. and you used the silk jewelry bags.

1156. But sometimes when you get these challenges

1157. to make something out of a bunch of stuff,

1158. you think more is more.

1159. I think if you got rid of the cuffs

1160. and you got rid of or downsized that choker,

1161. just want this lightened up.

1162. And one thing I do wanna say

1163. is that your makeup sometimes comes across

1164. a little not blended enough.

1165. So I'm gonna recommend to you

1166. that you talk to some of the makeup queens

1167. and get a little info.

1168. But you are a joy,

1169. and I appreciate what you did tonight.

1170. Thank you very much.

1171. Up next, Gottmik.

1172. You should change your name to Gottaste,

1173. because you have a really good taste level

1174. that transcended all three of the looks.

1175. The body bag that was that autopsy moment,

1176. it was gruesome,

1177. but kind of fashionable all at the same time.

1178. It was like you were a literal dead person,

1179. cut open, walking at me.

1180. I was like, this is frightening, and I'm entertained.

1181. Your Moneybags look, like, I can't even breathe.

1182. That is a moment.

1183. Thank you.

1184. It is remarkable.

1185. And all the details that went with it, unbelievable.

1186. And then this look, it's edited, I love the silhouette,

1187. it's edgy and cool and like a modern Joan Jett rocker thing.

1188. Yes!

1189. Gottmik actually went to fashion school.

1190. - Oh, well, there you go. - I did.

1191. - So do you know how to sew-sew? - I do.

1192. That gets me even more excited

1193. to see what you are gonna bring me,

1194. because now that I know you went to fashion school,

1195. she's gonna challenge you a little bit more.

1196. Maybe I didn't go, then.

1197. Rosé.

1198. I'm gonna start with your nod to your Scottish heritage.

1199. I didn't realize you were from Scotland.

1200. Yep, I was born in Greenock,

1201. which is a wee town near Glasgow.

1202. That look kilt it.

1203. The silhouette was perfect, the tailoring was perfect,

1204. the details were perfect.

1205. Your Moneybags moment

1206. was a nod to the great Bette Midler.

1207. Bette Midler in Big Business.

1208. And I thought it was the simplest out of yours,

1209. and it was more like a campy nod tribute versus, like, drag.

1210. And then this I think is stunning.

1211. Did you cut the bags in half, the ones that are on the skirt?

1212. Yeah, I cut them in half and then I half-sewed

1213. and half-glued it all back together.

1214. It had movement, as well, so when you did those turns,

1215. those bags kind of flew out into the air

1216. like an amusement park ride.

1217. That's a great drag look,

1218. when it's fun and it has that sense of whimsy

1219. and it makes us smile, but it's still chic.

1220. - Thank you. - Next up, Utica.

1221. Hello!

1222. One thing I like to pride myself on

1223. is say when I'm wr—

1224. Wrong.

1225. Doesn't come easily.

1226. But I think in the beginning I pegged you

1227. as, oh, she's the weird, quirky queen.

1228. She's gonna just do weird shit just to do it.

1229. But you have continuously upped the fashion,

1230. and I think tonight was no exception.

1231. Starting with your Mixed Bag, it was just all really chic.

1232. And then you gave us that great variety in your Moneybags look.

1233. I loved the giant, oversized earring detail.

1234. It was just really well executed.

1235. And then you came out in this, and my mind was kind of blown.

1236. Sleeping bags are not an easy medium to work with,

1237. and you've made it look flattering.

1238. The cowl neck with the zipper, it's just all so enticing.

1239. Thank you.

1240. Thank you, ladies.

1241. I think we've heard enough.

1242. While you untuck in the werkroom,

1243. the judges and I will deliberate.

1244. Okay, just between us squirrel friends,

1245. I think we've seen

1246. one of the best looks in Drag Raceherstory

1247. and one of the worst looks.

1248. Let's start with Joey Jay.

1249. The first look, the IV bag,

1250. Joey didn't even realize the poison IV was the joke.

1251. And then the second look,

1252. I thought was just, like, okay, it's a blazer,

1253. some leggings, we got some pumps.

1254. But what else?

1255. It was like Chico's formal, you know?

1256. Yes, yes. And the third look,

1257. I thought it was fun.

1258. Did I think it was, you know, mind-blowing?

1259. No, but I appreciated that there was hair.

1260. LaLa Ri.

1261. The Moneybags look was one of my favorites.

1262. Her attitude and her radiance and how she presents

1263. was so lovely to watch.

1264. Now, this look tonight, y'all,

1265. absolutely no.

1266. No. That face, beautiful!

1267. That lip, gorgeous!

1268. That outfit, burn it.

1269. Tamisha Iman.

1270. Tamisha has that kind of presence,

1271. and she's got the experience,

1272. and it showed in her acting

1273. when she came out and did her "that old bag."

1274. She was really selling it,

1275. but it wasn't, like, a great razzle-dazzle drag moment.

1276. Her Moneybags was my least favorite.

1277. For a girl who can sew her butt off,

1278. it looked kinda off-the-rack.

1279. Her final look, to me, kind of says who she is.

1280. The way she did the bodice and the breast part

1281. was not easily done.

1282. I just think she overdid it, that's all.

1283. - Yes. - Gottmik.

1284. She started out with her dead-on-arrival autopsy look,

1285. which I loved so much that I was begging for more.

1286. The second look, stunning. My God.

1287. I mean, you wanna talk about texture?

1288. I could stare at that all night, it was so beautiful.

1289. She really got that challenge.

1290. We want opulence with Moneybags.

1291. I don't need Mildred Pierce,

1292. I need today's Alexis Carrington Colby Blake

1293. Dexter Dexter Carrington Blake Dexter Colby.

1294. That what I need.

1295. And then she came out here

1296. in this deconstructed, one-legged outfit, and I lived.

1297. It was so punk rock, really, but yet so chic and fashion.

1298. Like, I could see this on a runway.

1299. All right, Rosé.

1300. That first Scottish look was so well done.

1301. It had a sense of humor,

1302. it was crafted beautifully, it was on-brand.

1303. And then the second look,

1304. I missed the tongue-in-cheek and the fun.

1305. Maybe the hair was big, I don't know.

1306. Just go bigger with it.

1307. Absolutely agree with that.

1308. Tonight in the final look, I really enjoyed this.

1309. I thought it was fun.

1310. There were different shades of metallic in the ball skirt.

1311. She knows how to edit,

1312. she didn't have anything that she didn't need,

1313. but she had everything that she needed.

1314. Utica.

1315. She came out with her first doggie bag look.

1316. It was so chic, it was so French, it was so fashion.

1317. That second look, with the short,

1318. Thoroughly Modern Millie bob in brown—

1319. Thoroughly Modern Billy-Bob Brown!

1320. And that look with the sleeping bags.

1321. My goodness!

1322. This girl is intuitive about her fashion.

1323. That I would see on any runway anywhere,

1324. and people would go crazy for it.

1325. My only critique is on the first two presentations,

1326. you know, she camps it up a bit,

1327. and I think it kind of takes away

1328. from how fabulous those outfits were.

1329. But, boy, you cannot take away from the craftsmanship there.

1330. And I'm like, "You made this in the same time

1331. that LaLa glued bags to herself?"

1332. That's incredible!

1333. Silence! I've made my decision.

1334. Bring back my girls.

1335. Welcome back, ladies.

1336. I've made some decisions.

1337. Utica Queen. Gottmik.

1338. Tonight, you each served three iconic looks,

1339. but one of you truly gagged us with your bagus.

1340. Gottmik, con-drag-ulations.

1341. You are the winner of this week's challenge.

1342. Oh, my God!

1343. You've won a cash tip of $5,000.

1344. Thank you!

1345. I won the ball challenge, bitch!

1346. I'm done.

1347. Utica, outstanding work this week.

1348. You all may join the other girls.

1349. Rosé, great Scot.

1350. You kilt it again this week.

1351. - You are safe. - Thank you, Ru.

1352. LaLa Ri, your final look was epic,

1353. as in epic fail.

1354. I'm sorry, my dear, but you are up for elimination.

1355. Joey Jay, we wanted to see more.

1356. Tamisha Iman, we wanted to see less.

1357. Joey Jay, I'm sorry, my dear, but you are up for elimination.

1358. Tamisha, you are safe.

1359. Thank you.

1360. I know how LaLa lip syncs,

1361. and I know she's about to let me have it.

1362. But I'm a gay-ass bitch. I'm Joey Jay.

1363. Like, bitch, I'm not going home today.

1364. Two queens stand before me.

1365. Ladies, this is your last chance to impress me

1366. and save yourself from elimination.

1367. The time has come...

1368. for you to lip sync...

1369. for your life!

1370. I may be the loser by my look,

1371. but one thing I'm not the loser by

1372. is me as an entertainer when I need to entertain.

1373. Bitch, this is the moment

1374. that I'm about to give you the LaLa Ri experience.

1375. Good luck, and don't fuck it up.

1376. - Yeah! - Yes, bitch!

1377. Ladies, I've made my decision.

1378. LaLa Ri, shantay you stay.

1379. Thank you.

1380. You better step your pussy up, girl.

1381. I will. I promise you.

1382. You may join the other girls.

1383. Joey Jay, you've only just begun to slay.

1384. Now sashay away.

1385. Mwah.

1386. I am disappointed, but I have no regrets.

1387. And bitch, I look so good, so... till next time.

1388. Con-drag-ulations, ladies.

1389. And remember, if you can't love yourself,

1390. how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?

1391. Can I get an "amen" up in here?

1392. - Amen! - Amen!

1393. All right, now let the music play!

1394. Next time onRuPaul's Drag Race...

1395. You'll be making a dancing documentary about disco, baby.

1396. One, two, three. pas de bourree, pas de bourree.

1397. Aah!

1398. What the hell?

1399. Your performance was out of this world.

1400. You killed that shit.

1401. What the fuck is going on here?

1402. Don't look my way, I won't look your way.

1403. Don't speak to me, I won't speak to you.

1404. I don't need you to tell me that.

1405. I'm a grown-ass woman.

1406. For everyone else that has something to say about me...
