RuPaul's Drag Race 12x5

1. Previously on RuPaul's Drag Race...

2. We are throwing a fashion ball, darling.

3. - Brita. - Is it corn? Is it a pineapple?

4. It's a pineapple.

5. You did not execute your vision.

6. Rock M. Sakura.

7. More, more, more is not right.

8. You do need to edit.

9. Gigi Goode.

10. This look? Perfection.

11. - Thank you so much. - Con-drag-ulations.

12. You're the winner of this week's challenge.

13. Brita, shantay you stay.

14. Rock M., sashay away.

15. Girl. We're back in the werkroom.

16. I just survived a lip sync,

17. and I have so many emotions.

18. I just hear Rock M.'s crying

19. and how badly she wanted this,

20. while other people did the bare minimum

21. and skated by again.

22. "To all of my special queens.

23. "Make sure you do what I couldn't do.

24. "Love yourself and respect yourself.

25. "Rock M. Sakura.

26. Love you all truly."

27. - We love you, Rock M. - Love you, Rock M.

28. When Rock turned the corner and we could hear her crying,

29. my heart broke.

30. Mine, too, girl.

31. I went into that werkroom for Untucked

32. thinking that I was, like, safe.

33. Honey, that shook me up.

34. My mind has changed.

35. I'm, like, putting it into full fucking gear

36. because I'm Brita, bitch.

37. In New York, I am always at the top

38. because I work so hard.

39. And that's what makes it so hard to be in the bottom.

40. I also think I don't belong in the bottom.

41. Oh, I gotta get these tears out of my eyes

42. because we do have to celebrate Miss Gigi Goode.

43. - Congrats, Gigi. - Congrats, Gigi.

44. I'm very, very happy that I won the challenge

45. that I wanted to win the most.

46. Yeah, and you deserve it.

47. You're such an amazing designer.

48. Nicky, how are you feeling about your critiques?

49. I feel happy because being praised

50. for what I created boosts my ego

51. and now I can allow myself

52. to be even more outside of my comfort zone

53. and just more goofy and—

54. You totally have that goofy side to you.

55. I've seen it already.

56. You don't see it yet.

57. Next week, I'm gonna walk that runway as Quasimodo.

58. Week after week, I just feel

59. more and more... weakened.

60. I see them seeing something in Aiden.

61. They're, like, you're so special.

62. How can they see something in her like that

63. and because I look polished, I just don't have it.

64. Aiden, how are you feeling right now?

65. I mean, I know up until tonight,

66. like, I haven't had anything

67. to go off of yet until tonight.

68. Really, honestly, do you think

69. that you'll probably be in the bottom?

70. Just solely based off, like, the looks?

71. They liked the look. They wanted more.

72. I wanted a very Bettie Page-esque look,

73. and I just didn't want to start stacking shit on

74. just for the hell of it.

75. You cannot afford to make excuses for yourself

76. to not do the best or better than you know you can do.

77. I didn't just sit back and think, all right.

78. I'm done, guys. Who gives a shit? No.

79. Sis, you taking naps while all of us are working hard.

80. She literally just put balls on a corset.

81. The one thing that they keep telling me

82. is I do have that uniqueness about me,

83. and I just need to bring that to the table.

84. So... yeah.

85. A lot of these girls thought

86. that I probably should have been in the bottom two

87. for the ball challenge, but I wasn't.

88. Brita should have been safe.

89. And you're saying Aiden should have went home?

90. - Yes. - But I see a fire in her.

91. - I feel like, she might be— - You see a candle.

92. - Ooh! - Ooh!

93. We are all in this competition together,

94. and we are all competing for the same fucking crown.

95. So I don't care what your background is

96. or what reputation you have.

97. If the judges aren't seeing what they wanna see from you, then...

98. Bitch, bye.

99. The winner ofRuPaul's Drag Race

100. receives a one-year supply

101. of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics

102. and a cash prize of $100,000.

103. With extra-special guest judge Normani.

104. - Good morning. - Rrrrrrr.

105. Team Missouri's in the house!

106. I woke up, I'm breathing.

107. That means it must be a new day in the werkroom.

108. Week five with no men. How we all feeling?

109. Which one of us is the trade besides me?

110. I have deemed myself trade of the season,

111. because I am sexiest one in the room

112. here and everywhere.

113. I think Jan would be trade if she had her boy brows.

114. - Ooh! - Ooh!

115. Those are her boy brows!

116. Ooh, girl!

117. She done already done had herses.

118. - My queens. - Hey.

119. How's your head—ache?

120. - Feeling a little sickening?

121. Well, get ready to walk into this competition nurse-first.

122. Hello, hello, hello!

123. Doctor, doctor!

124. Ladies, I've been going over your charts.

125. I've got some good news and some bad news.

126. The bad news is your pussies are on fire.

127. The good news is there is no cure.

128. For this week's maxi-challenge, you need to overact

129. in the longest-running drag queen scripted show on TV,

130. a little medical drama we're calling Gay's Anatomy.

131. I am so excited.

132. It's an acting challenge.

133. I'm feeling confident.

134. I'm ready to show them

135. everything that I learned getting my BFA.

136. The script is filled with juicy roles,

137. from beloved Dr. Meredith Gay to chief of staff Rhonda Shimes,

138. to the patients, whose very lives hang in the balance.

139. The hardest part

140. will be deciding which role to assign to which queen.

141. If only there were a pill for that!

142. Oh, wait a minute.

143. - Ooh! - Oh!

144. Doctor, doctor!

145. Somebody check my temperature.

146. Nurse!

147. Nine of these 11 bottles contain a silver pill,

148. a placebo with no power.

149. But two bottles contain a pink pill.

150. The two queens that choose a pink pill

151. will be in charge of casting all the roles.

152. Oh, my God.

153. Pit Crew, your patients await.

154. And ladies, I'm sorry to inform you

155. there will be no anal options.

156. - Oh! - Aw!

157. Perfect.

158. - Breathe out.

159. All right, ladies, you may open your bottles.

160. These bottles are childproof,

161. which may prove difficult for some of you.

162. Oh, Nicky and Gigi.

163. Gigi!

164. Nicky Doll and Gigi Goode, you got the pink pills.

165. That means you are in charge of casting.

166. All right.

167. Choose wisely, girls.

168. Gentlemen, start your ambulances,

169. and may the best woman win.

170. "I'm Dr. Meredith Gay,

171. world famous for my surgical skills and my bad taste in men."

172. Before any of the roles are actually assigned,

173. as a group, we all look through the script

174. to find out who we are thinking we might like to play.

175. Okay, we all feel like we kind of have an idea what we want?

176. I want Dr. Meredith Gay.

177. I think I wanna do Dr. Meredith Gay number two.

178. So there's two of you bitches.

179. I don't understand why Jan wants to be Meredith number two.

180. Part of the comedy of the challenge

181. is for the two Merediths to look very different.

182. But whatever.

183. The sequels are never good as the original.

184. I like Dr. Sandra Okurr.

185. I'm thinking Mimi.

186. Mimi?

187. I would love to play Dr. Mother Gay.

188. I would like to play Mother, too.

189. While you untuck backstage,

190. Nicky and I will—

191. - Deliberate. - Go over and deliberate.

192. - By-ee. - Have fun.

193. Nicky and Gigi, they're sweet spirits.

194. I don't think they're gonna sabotage a bitch,

195. but you never know.

196. The sweet ones are the ones you gotta look out for.

197. Dr. Tizzy Stebens will be moi.

198. What do you wanna play?

199. I think Baby is really iconic,

200. but doesn't have a lot of lines.

201. But wouldn't it be cool if you were able to get the baby

202. with the smallest amount of lines and, like, kill it?

203. Who did Widow wanna play?

204. Mother.

205. I think it should be Sherry.

206. Do you feel comfortable

207. giving a role to Widow that she didn't pick?

208. Well, I don't wanna be that girl.

209. Well, one of us will have to be.

210. Henny, who wanted it?

211. Nobody picked her. Aiden wanted Mimi Dearest.

212. Aiden doesn't really strike me

213. as somebody who's going to stand out.

214. Because there's a ghost, and due to Aiden's personality,

215. I think that could be a good idea.

216. I agree.

217. All right, so are we ready to drop the bomb?

218. - All right.

219. All right.

220. Ladies, we have made some decisions.

221. Dr. Meredith Gay one is Jackie.

222. Yay!

223. Dr. Meredith Gay two is Jan.

224. Dr. Sandra Okurr will be Brita.

225. Yes!

226. Then Henny will be played by Aiden.

227. Okay.

228. Are you happy with it?

229. Um, I guess I'm gonna have to be, aren't I?

230. When we were deciding, we were, like,

231. I think she could do good as, like, a ghost.

232. No, I mean, like, that's literally not a read.

233. "Like, she's a bombshell with a liberal code

234. "when it comes to sex and relationships.

235. She's the Mae West type."

236. Aiden, like, you know Mae West, right?

237. Probably not like you guys, but, yeah.

238. How do you not know who Mae West is?

239. Call my lawyer.

240. For Dr. Mother Gay, we have Miss Sherry.

241. Mm.

242. Then Mimi Dearest will be Widow.

243. I will be Baby Dearest, so we will be the family.

244. These fucking bitches.

245. Does anybody have, like, any qualms or issues

246. or anything with their role?

247. How are you feeling about Mimi Dearest, Widow?

248. Because you don't seem to be super happy.

249. Well, just like Aiden say, we don't really have a choice.

250. Let's do it.

251. I didn't get the role I wanted, either,

252. but at the end of the day,

253. you just have to suck it up and make it work.

254. Would she rather Henny?

255. No, I can do Mimi. It's fine.

256. Would you rather be Henny or Mimi?

257. - I mean, I was— - I can do Mimi. It's fine.

258. - All right. - Everybody good?

259. Get to highlighting and memorizing.

260. Memorize your lines.

261. Child, I feel like this is about to be a shit show.

262. I'm excited to see you as a ghost.

263. Boo!

264. Coming up...

265. You were not happy with your role?

266. I wanted to play something a little more serious.

267. Girl.

268. You wanted to play something a little more serious

269. on RuPaul's Drag Race.

270. This week's maxi-challenge

271. is to over-act in a medical drama called...

272. Gay's Anatomy.

273. Good times.

274. The last acting challenge was improv,

275. and I did very well in.

276. And I'm feeling hungry for a win.

277. We should figure out what lines we're gonna say to each other.

278. Because even if it's an improv, it would be nice, like,

279. we know what trajectory we're taking.

280. But that didn't work the last time we did improv.

281. Hmm?

282. That didn't work last time we did improv.

283. Jack said—oh—

284. And this is our friend Squirrelly.

285. That's what I'm saying. So we should rehearse the line

286. that we're gonna say during the argument.

287. Then we can deliver something

288. that it's still planted in our head.

289. All right.

290. All right.

291. I definitely regret picking Widow

292. for the role of Mimi Dearest, because without realizing it,

293. I've put myself in the exact same position

294. of the improv challenge.

295. But I didn't know that she would be moody, that's the thing.

296. She's so unpredictable,

297. you never know what you're gonna get.

298. - You bitch! - Ladies!

299. Listen, I don't see why we can't all work something out.

300. Boo.

301. Aiden was probably the weakest link in the improv challenge,

302. and this time, all of Aiden's scenes are with me.

303. Since we were both in the bottom last week,

304. that we really just gotta bring it.

305. We got something to prove.

306. That's right. No, definitely.

307. I don't wanna babysit Aiden,

308. but, like, is she gonna rise to the occasion?

309. Is she gonna come out of her shell with this role?

310. I don't know.

311. Hey, squirrel friends!

312. - Hi! - Hello!

313. Is there a doctor in the house?

314. All the time.

315. Well, hello, thespians.

316. - Hi! - Hello!

317. Look at that El Debarge hairdo.

318. That is the most beautiful hairdo

319. I've ever seen in my entire life.

320. Thank you so much.

321. Jackie Cox, you have an acting background, is that right?

322. I do, and a little bit of a medical background.

323. My mom's dream for me was to be a doctor,

324. like every Persian mother.

325. So in high school, she got me a job

326. collecting the stool samples of patients to bring to her lab.

327. How sweet of her.

328. Are you playing a doctor?

329. I'm the Dr. Meredith Gay.

330. This is your opportunity to make your mother very proud.

331. Now, Brita.

332. - You Brita werk! - Uh-huh.

333. And you've got something to prove, too,

334. because yo ass was in the bottom last week.

335. Yeah, I sure was.

336. Yeah, so how you gonna infuse "you Brita werk"

337. into this challenge?

338. I'm really excited.

339. I come from a theater background,

340. so I'm excited to put, like, different affectations

341. with my voice and to see what really lands,

342. to, like, make it work. Brita werk.

343. Have fun with it.

344. Because if you're having fun with this,

345. we, the audience, will have fun with it.

346. - Aiden. - Oh.

347. Here we are. Oh...

348. - Well, hello. - Well, hello.

349. They cast you as a ghost.

350. Is that a little subtle shade?

351. It might be.

352. So if I were to ask your parents

353. was Aiden a shy little boy always?

354. They would tell you no.

355. - They would say no. - They would say no.

356. Okay.

357. This competition has been very weird for me.

358. I'm totally, like, out of my element.

359. I've never heard that before.

360. That is so—

361. This is out of your element?

362. Well, I'm saying compared to, you know,

363. some of the girls who come from very, like, big cities,

364. and very used to, you know,

365. being around a lot of girls all the time, and—

366. No, they're not. No, this is a unique situation.

367. I bet all of you would probably say the same thing.

368. - Am I correct? - Child, down.

369. Yeah. I don't know what you're afraid of,

370. but just go two steps further.

371. Just come out of that shell.

372. - Oh! - Yeah!

373. You cannot constantly, every challenge,

374. say, well, I'm not from a big city like the other girls.

375. I'm not from a big city.

376. You have to at some point step up to the plate,

377. because this is not RuPaul's Excuse Race.

378. Hi, ladies.

379. - Why, hello! - Hi!

380. Nicky and Gigi, did you take in consideration

381. what the girls were good at, or did you wanna sabotage them?

382. I feel like we didn't try to sabotage anyone.

383. We heard everyone's wishes,

384. and then we tried to accommodate everyone.

385. I mean, some girls got roles that they didn't initially want.

386. Which girls were upset by the roles they got?

387. Well, I can kind of see that Widow was a little upset

388. she didn't get the character that she wanted.

389. You wanted to play Blac Chyna, is that right?

390. So you were not happy with your role?

391. I mean, I wanted to play something a little more serious.

392. - This is a serious role? - For me, it is.

393. You wanted to play something a little more serious

394. on RuPaul's Drag Race.

395. What role did you have in mind?

396. I wanted to play Mother.

397. What role do you have?

398. - Mimi Dearest. - Okay.

399. I just kind of feel that that's just—

400. playing Mimi Dearest is a role

401. that I seem to kind of fall into.

402. Like, I picked the drunk role the last time

403. when we did an acting challenge.

404. It seems like I'm playing another,

405. like, almost similar role.

406. Yeah, well, you can interpret the role however you want.

407. So now, Nicky Doll, in the improv challenge,

408. you wound up in the bottom.

409. Yep.

410. How are you gonna make sure

411. you're not in the bottom this time?

412. I picked a role that is very different

413. - than what I would do usually. - What role'd you get?

414. I'm the baby.

415. Will your baby speak French?

416. - Well, we do not know the dad. - Yeah.

417. So I could always have a little French accent here and there.

418. Yeah, it's a little literal.

419. Give it your all. Push yourself, you know?

420. All right, kids, I cannot wait to see this.

421. This is a make-or-break challenge,

422. and this is also a star-making challenge.

423. See you out there.

424. Thank you, Ru!

425. Okay.

426. We got work to do, ladies.

427. Girl.

428. Coming up...

429. - Aah!

430. - There's an anal—

431. Oh, child.

432. Welcome, ladies.

433. - Hi! - Hi!

434. It's time to shoot our Gay's Anatomyscenes,

435. and Carson will be directing us.

436. Aiden and I were both in the bottom last week,

437. so both of us have a lot to prove.

438. We may not be best friends,

439. but we're gonna be goddamn best friends in this scene, honey.

440. Today, I'm looking for over-the-top acting,

441. drama, romance,

442. and catheters, if you have one.

443. Okay, so, first scene. Places, ladies.

444. Time is money, chop-chop.

445. Action.

446. Dr. Meredith Gay,

447. there's an anal-phylactic shock in room one.

448. Dr. Tizzy Stebens, there's a diver-dick-ulitis in room two.

449. Cut. Let's go back. Jaida, don't think about it.

450. We've got an anal-phylactic shock. We've got a da-da-da-da.

451. - Just keep that rhythm moving. - Okay.

452. Action.

453. There's a dick— diver-dick-ulitis—

454. Cut!

455. Oh, child.

456. Go back to one.

457. When you think that on the first try

458. that you should get it perfect and that does not happen...

459. There's an anal—

460. You're just like a deer in the headlights.

461. Right.

462. All right, let's move on.

463. So there it is.

464. Girl, how's it going with your drag mom?

465. Gosh, I wish my mother had survived

466. a near-fatal tucking accident.

467. Tizzy, you're not well and you're sick

468. and why did you bring a cat to a hospital?

469. - Cut. Let's go back. - Nipples?

470. Jackie, your line is "Tizzy, you're sick and you need help."

471. Thank you.

472. And Gigi, that was perfect.

473. When I walked into this competition,

474. I thought if Gigi as just a fashion queen.

475. And she's been serving it in the performance challenges, too,

476. which makes her quite the threat.

477. Moving on.

478. I told you to go on eight.

479. Five, six, seven, eight, bitches!

480. You're the one that wanted to do a "fork the pain away" number!

481. Fork you!

482. Why is it always about utensils with you?

483. And cut! It's totally like Hamlet,

484. minus the "let" and just the "ham."

485. Let's move on.

486. Can't wait to meet the new Meredith.

487. And action.

488. Aah!

489. Who am I?

490. Oh, hey, Meredith.

491. Mother? You recognize me?

492. I've had a full face transplant!

493. Can we talk about me now?

494. - What do you think?

495. I was thinking about wearing the ring on the other finger.

496. I don't know. It's looking a little big.

497. Motherfucking Sherry Pie.

498. That's my role.

499. Pressure's on.

500. How could I be having a baby?

501. I'm a drag queen!

502. Oh, I think I see the head!

503. Aah!

504. - Aah

505. Get this baby outta me!

506. It's... a bomb!

507. Actually, it's a glitter bomb.

508. I swallowed that at the white party a couple months ago.

509. Widow is doing very well.

510. Overall, she delivered.

511. Literally, because she was pregnant.

512. If that doesn't make it in, there's a problem.

513. That was gold.

514. And cut.

515. Widow, your thing about the white party was genius.

516. Okay, baby and mother insert scene.

517. we're gonna bring in the special effects experts.

518. Thank you for your patients.

519. That was a hospital joke, too.

520. Anyway, action.

521. Oh, fierce. Her visage looks snatch.

522. Werk, Dr. Bitch!

523. I knew I should have swallowed your mother-tuckin' ass!

524. I'm about to shove my baby like—sorry.

525. I'm about to shove up my baby ass in your long—sorry.

526. Do I really gotta put up with this damn baby for 18 years?

527. Speak some more French, Nicky, that's great.

528. I can leave this baby here at the hospital, right?

529. There's moments when Nicky and Widow have to improv,

530. and Nicky kind of loses steam halfway through and gives up.

531. Moving on.

532. - Are we ready to roll? - Yes, ma'am.

533. Aiden, are you in character? Are you dead or are you alive?

534. Oh, I'm alive.

535. Okay. Action.

536. Oh! Hello, Dr. Okurr.

537. Why don't you come up and IV me sometime?

538. Got any good news for me?

539. Oh, sorry.

540. Oh, hello, Dr. Okurr.

541. Why don't you come up and IV me sometime?

542. Just as I suspected: R-A-S.

543. And cut.

544. Aiden, it was a little tentative,

545. and it just seemed like

546. maybe you weren't confident with your lines.

547. Just be a little bit looser with them.

548. Yep.

549. And then Brita, R-A-S.

550. Instead of being an excited lover,

551. you have a moment where you become a doctor again.

552. Just as I suspected: R-A-S.

553. - Okay, thank you. - Action.

554. Oh, hello, Dr. Okurr.

555. Why don't you come up and IV me sometime. Oh.

556. Just as I suspected: R-A-S!

557. I am trying not to lose focus, but it's definitely difficult

558. because Brita can spit when she talks.

559. [slowed-down] Affectations.

560. I said talk like a dog. Ruff.

561. The whole scene were just facefuls.

562. That big mouth has a lot of spit.

563. And cut.

564. Aiden, you nailed it.

565. You took all those notes. That was perfect.

566. And then Brita, it's comma, R-A-S,

567. comma.

568. I guess I need to show Carson more range?

569. Brita, act like you've noticed she's quiet,

570. and say, "What's going on, honey, why you so quiet?"

571. I'm going above and beyond.

572. Like, it's one thing to just lay there,

573. and for me to, like, carry it to the finish line.

574. I mean, it's pretty easy to play dead.

575. All right, that's a wrap, ladies.

576. We won't know what we have until we see the final edit,

577. but we will watch that on the main stage tomorrow.

578. I think we're all feeling really good about the challenge.

579. I mean, I feel un-forking-believable.

580. But I can just tell

581. something's coming to fuck all that shit up.

582. Coming up...

583. Do you think people dropping lines

584. is gonna be a factor at all?

585. - Bitch. - I'm just saying.

586. Jackie trying to stir the shit this morning.

587. Shady, bitch.

588. I am Aiden Zhane, and I have one thing to say:

589. Boo!

590. - Boo! - Boo!

591. All right, bitches.

592. There's another elimination day, and somebody's going home.

593. How do we all feel about the challenge?

594. Good.

595. Do you think people dropping lines

596. is gonna be a factor at all?

597. 'Cause there were some folks who were dropping some lines.

598. - Bitch, look— - I'm just saying.

599. I'm gonna tell you this much.

600. Jackie trying to stir the shit this morning.

601. Overall, I feel like it was cute,

602. and it came together at the end.

603. But I know in the beginning,

604. I, like, psyched myself out a little bit,

605. and then maybe you never know if that will be the thing

606. that can, like, put you in the bottom.

607. Because everybody was so good.

608. I think that they're gonna be really nitpicky

609. about everything.

610. I'm happy with my performance.

611. And because they want me to show personality,

612. I just hope that this is gonna be enough.

613. Oh, so you think that you're gonna always have

614. just, like, a stuck-up, cold French bitch

615. that only focus about makeup and glamour?

616. Bitch, I covered all my teeth in black

617. to have only one showing as a baby.

618. Who's glamorous?

619. And you know, one of the biggest struggles that I had

620. since I arrived here

621. is that this is an American competition show.

622. So the fact that I'm struggling on some stuff

623. that you guys are not even struggling with,

624. it makes me feel like you shouldn't even be here.

625. You shouldn't even be here.

626. You're struggling with the language.

627. You're taking someone's spot.

628. You have to set all of that aside.

629. I wish I could just climb inside your brain

630. and just alleviate you of all of that.

631. I have worked so hard for this,

632. and I have so much to offer that I have to live in the moment

633. and not let this saboteur really take over,

634. and try to shut down those voices in my head.

635. - Sherry. - Yes?

636. Your Mother character, was it based off

637. of any of your, like, real-life mother figures?

638. Not really. Like, my real mom

639. is, like, a hardcore supportive showbiz mom.

640. Like, I love my mom, you know?

641. Um, my mom...

642. all that ever mattered to her, like so many immigrant families,

643. is you move to this country

644. because you want your kids to have a better life.

645. And for her, that meant education,

646. that meant getting a good job, doing something respectable.

647. For so long, my mom was just against every choice,

648. every instinct I had.

649. Like, I didn't want to be a doctor.

650. All I wanted to do was sing and dance.

651. I never got to take dance classes

652. because she didn't think

653. that that was something that boys should do.

654. She doesn't even know I do drag.

655. For so much of my life, I was never enough for my mom...

656. or the expectations I put on myself.

657. I'm terrified that she's gonna see this,

658. and it's gonna be like

659. all her worst nightmares about me came true

660. because I'm not what she dreamed I would be.

661. But the thing about that is is that success is success,

662. and she can see this,

663. and she sees that what you decided to do with your life

664. led you to a way where you can take care of yourself

665. and you can be happy.

666. That's usually what parents want for us,

667. and sometimes, they just think they know what's best.

668. Sometimes they just have to see it, like, lived out,

669. and see the reality of what it really is.

670. I can't allow her disapproval to define me.

671. So I hope when she sees this,

672. she'll know that this is what's made me happy,

673. and that I want her to understand that part of me.

674. We've chosen the right career,

675. and we do actually know what's good for us.

676. Widow, how are you feeling?

677. Uh...

678. Talking about moms has always been super hard for me.

679. My mom died in a car crash when I was 17.

680. Oh, my God. I'm so sorry.

681. And just knowing

682. that she never is gonna have the chance to see me,

683. you know, live this dream and be who I am

684. and finally come out.

685. And I have no relationship with family.

686. Like, no one knows I'm married in my family.

687. No one knows that I'm even here.

688. I never got to come out to her,

689. never got to talk to her, never...

690. And we had an argument the day she died,

691. and I never got to, like, mend that.

692. I stormed out of the house and I left with my friends,

693. and the next thing I know, the police are knocking on the door.

694. And they say, "Your mother passed away in a car crash."

695. And it felt like everything just went silent.

696. - I understand.

697. I really—I understand.

698. No one's ever gonna take her place,

699. but you have people who are here for you and care for you

700. and want to see you do amazing.

701. I just wish that, you know, I had the chance.

702. - I wish. - Of course.

703. Because I know that she'd be the biggest fucking supporter

704. and root for me so much, and—

705. But she's watching over you.

706. Fuck. And I said I wasn't gonna cry.

707. I understand now more in-depth why Widow is so unpredictable.

708. The loss of such an important figure that is your mother

709. can really affect you for the rest of your life.

710. Heal y'all, motherfuckers, okay?

711. Heal, bitches!

712. Heal and paint.

713. We got a runway to get on, bitches.

714. - Okay, Rhonda Shimes.

715. - Oh! - Oh!

716. - Shady, bitch.

717. And what?

718. Welcome to the main stage of RuPaul's Drag Race.

719. Now available without a prescription, Michelle Visage.

720. Yes, baby. Available now under the counter.

721. Style superstar Carson Kressley.

722. How many fingers am I holding up?

723. Well, I just see a fist.

724. Well, you would know.

725. And the stunning Normani. How are you feeling?

726. Ru, I got a bad case of loving you,

727. and, honey, there ain't no cure.

728. This week, we challenged our queens

729. to over-act on the all-drag medical drama Gay's Anatomy.

730. And tonight on the runway,

731. category is Planet of the Capes.

732. Gentlemen, start your engines,

733. and may the best woman win.

734. Coming up...

735. Your look today is fierce.

736. I might steal it.

737. That is a piece of fabric on your back.

738. That really chaps your ass, doesn't it?

739. Category is Planet of the Capes.

740. First up, Jaida Essence Hall.

741. Ooh, she's so beat.

742. Oh, corraly fixated, if you ask me.

743. I have these over-dramatic shoulders.

744. Miss Jaida is feeling her full Jimmy Neutron fantasy.

745. You know, if you got a hump,

746. put some glitter on it.

747. Brita.

748. The return of Booberella.

749. - Ooh! - Ooh!

750. Little Red Riding Hood ain't so little anymore, bitch.

751. She is serving you a light cape,

752. because she's a girl on the go

753. and she cannot be weighed down by a heavy cape.

754. I've heard of assless chaps,

755. but not assless trumpet skirts.

756. Jackie Cox.

757. Ooh, she feeling herself.

758. I'm serving a mysterious dancer

759. of the Middle East,

760. with a beautiful headpiece that is serving the Third Eye

761. to ward off evil spirits.

762. If you can't beat 'em, harem.

763. Simply Jan.

764. I've heard of parachute pants, but—

765. Oh, my God, no! Don't jump!

766. I would never skydive,

767. so the only opportunity that I'm gonna get

768. is to do it on the runway.

769. I have my rhinestone glasses on to protect my eyes.

770. I think my look is killer.

771. Her modeling career hasn't really taken off.

772. Gigi Goode.

773. It's cookie time!

774. Good morning, campers.

775. I've taken inspiration fromTroop Beverly Hills.

776. Yeah, I wanna look like I was tricked

777. into becoming a Girl Scout leader.

778. Get these cookies!

779. Shake the man's hand, Daddy,

780. and we're on our way.

781. Up next, Sherry Pie.

782. Peanut butter and banana pie.

783. I am giving you the King,

784. AKA the Queen.

785. I am living, and when I open up that cape,

786. there is nothing more American than pie and Elvis.

787. She just gave us all the bird.

788. Viva drag Vegas.

789. Heidi!

790. If you like it, then you better put a wing on it.

791. I'm floating down this runway,

792. wings open, mouth open wide, just glowing with pride.

793. That kind of rhymes.

794. Okay, take my poetry, honey.

795. Ooh, I'm in the mood for some hot wings.

796. Crystal Methyd.

797. Frida Cape-lo.

798. I am bringing the sunshine.

799. I look like a tropical princess.

800. Got flowers in my hair and chunky jewelry.

801. My makeup is a little bit more natural

802. than the judges have seen before.

803. Ladies and gentlemen, Rita Coolidge.

804. Aiden Zhane. Silence of the Liza.

805. Oh, you've got something on your—

806. I am living mySilence of the Lambs horror fantasy.

807. The cape I am wearing is actually inspired

808. by a cape scene in Buffalo Bill's basement in the movie.

809. Put the lotion in the basket!

810. The Widow Von'Du.

811. My cape is inspired by a watermelon,

812. because watermelons are juicy, and, oh, surprise, bitches!

813. - Ooh! - Oh!

814. You got some titties!

815. My cape is breezing in the wind.

816. You know it and I know it: she looking good.

817. Janet Jackson's having some PTSD right now.

818. I gonna call her melon-in up in here.

819. Nicky Doll. Oh!

820. You gorrr.

821. I'm giving you nineties Mugler,

822. Miss Joan of Arc,

823. one of the most iconic women in French history.

824. Thierry Mugler is one of my favorite designer of all time,

825. and I'm living for it.

826. She's obviously been doing some reflecting.

827. Yes, she has.

828. Bustier, you stay.

829. Coming up...

830. I think you guys together are pretty magical.

831. Might have been nicer to see some different highs and lows.

832. You missed the jokes.

833. Welcome, ladies.

834. It's time to tune in to Gay's Anatomy.

835. I'm Dr. Meredith Gay,

836. world-famous for my surgical skills

837. and my bad taste in men.

838. Oh, sorry!

839. You'd think working at Lady Bunny Memorial Hospital

840. for 69 seasons—

841. I mean years— I'd be bored.

842. But, honey, thanks to our boss bitch Rhonda Shimes,

843. there's never a dull moment.

844. Dr. Meredith Gay,

845. there's an anal-phylactic shock in room one.

846. - Oh! - Dr. Tizzy Stebens,

847. there's a diver-dick-ulitis in room two.

848. Dr. Sandra Okurr,

849. there's 10 homo-tomas in the waiting room.

850. Get your asses out there!

851. So, Meredith, how's it going with your drag mom?

852. Well, things haven't been the same since—

853. Since her near-fatal tucking accident last summer?

854. I wish my mother had survived a near-fatal tucking accident.

855. Oh! - She's coming!

856. Good morning, Mother.

857. What's good about it?

858. Every day I can't shablam is a living hell!

859. Why didn't you pull the plug when you had the chance?

860. Because you weren't on life support, Mother.

861. Dr. Meredith, meet me in the supply closet.

862. I have to go.

863. Nipples, what'd you say?

864. You wish somebody would McBang me in the supply closet?

865. Oh, you really get me!

866. Like all strong women,

867. we've all struggled with love, loss, and being a whore.

868. Oh, Dr. Okurr,

869. why don't you come up and IV me sometime? Oh.

870. Just as I suspected.

871. Oh?

872. It's R-A-S:

873. Restless Ass Syndrome.

874. Oh!

875. There is no cure.

876. Oh, honey, I love you.

877. We're gonna beat this thing.

878. That's medically impossible, but okay.

879. Oh!

880. Wait. I wanna remember this moment forever.

881. Let's take a selfie.

882. Oh, God. My battery's at 1%.

883. God, look who's hogging all the outlets, huh?

884. Look, I put puppy dog ears on us!

885. Say woof! Woof, woof, woof, woof, woof!

886. Henny? Henny!

887. Luckily, we all have massive malpractice policies.

888. But the one thing you can't buy an insurance policy for

889. is a broken heart.

890. Code pink! Code pink!

891. Not another octo-tsunami.

892. That's the third one this season.

893. Whoo! I'm not fat, you idiots!

894. I'm pregnant! Get this damn thing off me!

895. Ten-ten-tentacles across the board!

896. Aah!

897. How could I be having a baby?

898. I'm a drag queen!

899. When you've been here for 673 episodes—

900. I mean weeks—

901. you've seen everything.

902. Oh, I think I see the head!

903. Whoo!

904. It's not a baby!

905. It's... a bomb!

906. Actually, it's a glitter bomb.

907. I swallowed that at the white party.

908. I'm just going to have to hold this glitter bomb

909. perfectly steady in one hand

910. while I deliver the baby with the other.

911. Whoo!

912. Whoo!

913. - Whoo! - Aah!

914. Oh!

915. Meet your baby.

916. Ooh, sacre bleu,

917. it smells like balls and wig glue in here!

918. Whose boob do I have to suck to get a little milk in here?

919. You better shut up, you loud-ass baby!

920. Oh, you ain't even seen loud yet.

921. What the hell does that even mean?

922. Whore!

923. Mm-hmm, you right.

924. No, don't touch me, or the bomb will explode!

925. Oh, Meredith!

926. She needs a face transplant, stat!

927. Some days at this job,

928. you can feel like a totally different person.

929. Meredith, the face transplant went well.

930. Let's take a look at your new face!

931. Oh, my God.

932. Aah!

933. Oh, hello, Meredith.

934. Mother, you recognize me?

935. What, you look different?

936. I've had a full face transplant!

937. I don't see it. Can we talk about me now?

938. Do you think that this makes me look fat?

939. Aah!

940. I like that it covers up my chin,

941. but it might, you know, add too much chin.

942. Aah!

943. It's my knees, isn't it?

944. Aah!

945. Listen, I don't think they're that bad.

946. Oh, fierce.

947. Her visage looks snatch.

948. Do I really gotta put up with this damn baby for 18 years?

949. And you never forget those really tough cases.

950. I told you to go on eight.

951. Five, six, seven, eight, bitches.

952. Who goes on seven?

953. You're the one that wanted to do a "fork the pain away" number!

954. I wanted to do "since you've been flan"

955. and pop out of a giant vat of custard.

956. That wouldn't have hurt at all.

957. It would have hurt artistically.

958. Fork you!

959. No, fork you!

960. You two, get your forking asses down to the operating room

961. before you bleed out, all right?

962. Go!

963. Sometimes we get too emotionally involved,

964. and our patients come back to haunt us.

965. Oh, hey, Doc.

966. Is that an EpiPen in your pocket

967. or are you just happy to see me? Oh.

968. I thought you were dead!

969. - Oh! - You're a ghost?

970. Oh. Boo! Ha-ha!

971. You ever had spooky sex?

972. - Oh... - Oh...

973. And sometimes, our cases give us separation anxiety.

974. I don't think we can save them both!

975. What do you mean?

976. If we remove the fork, only one of them will survive!

977. There's only one person I know

978. with the special skills to save both of these queens,

979. and she'd never do it.

980. I'd never do what?

981. Mother!

982. I have been selfish and depressed,

983. and as my therapist—

984. Mom, we don't have a lot of time.

985. All right! Let's save these sluts!

986. - Aah! - Aah!

987. Own it. If you've got a hump, put some glitter on it!

988. I really think this could help our marketing!

989. Mouth Dakota and Ali-bama, they're un-forking-believable.

990. Yes. Thank you.

991. Thank you, doctors.

992. Mom, if you'd like to apologize

993. for a lifetime full of bad parenting,

994. I'm all ears.

995. What?

996. Oh, yes. My meds were off,

997. so I'm back to treating you like shit.

998. And put some makeup on. You look horrible.

999. Oh, God.

1000. Life in a hospital can be truly sickening.

1001. There's no shortage of emergencies...

1002. or love...

1003. or family.

1004. If I drop this baby, is anybody gonna be mad?

1005. But one thing's for sure.

1006. There are moments you'll never forget.

1007. You know, I told you to put a little makeup on.

1008. Maybe McFlurry wouldn't have left you

1009. if you didn't look—whoa!

1010. [crash, cat yowls] No matter how hard you try.

1011. I think I smell a Peabody.

1012. Oh, wait a minute. No, that's just Carson.

1013. Coming up...

1014. I wanna ask my girls,

1015. who should go home tonight...

1016. Uh-oh.

1017. And why?

1018. Ladies, each of you did an amazing job

1019. with this week's challenge,

1020. and you've made it very difficult for the judges.

1021. When I call your name, please step forward.

1022. Jan.

1023. Widow Von'Du.

1024. Jackie Cox.

1025. Sherry Pie.

1026. Gigi Goode.

1027. Aiden Zhane.

1028. You are all nominated

1029. for outstanding performance by a drag queen in a medical drama.

1030. But one of you delivered a performance that gave us life.

1031. The winner of this week's challenge is...

1032. Sherry Pie.

1033. Con-drag-ulations.

1034. You've won a cash prize of $5,000.

1035. Thank you.

1036. Ladies, you may leave the stage.

1037. Ladies, you all gave memorable performances,

1038. but you were slightly overshadowed

1039. by the queens that just exited the stage.

1040. Unfortunately, it's our task

1041. to decide who should go home this week.

1042. And now it's time for the judges' critiques.

1043. Up first, Jaida Essence Hall.

1044. Even though you needed the most direction,

1045. what we saw in the finished piece actually kind of worked.

1046. The issue for me was

1047. I could see you saying and remembering the words,

1048. and you did.

1049. There's 10 homo-tomas in the waiting room.

1050. But because you were trying so hard not to miss a line,

1051. you missed the jokes.

1052. Your look today is absolutely fierce.

1053. Thank you.

1054. I might steal it.

1055. If you want it, you can have it.

1056. I love the silhouette with the extreme shoulder.

1057. That Mars Attacks, Bride of Frankensteinhair.

1058. Yeah, it's giving me Halle Berry in B.A.P.S. vibes.

1059. I love it.

1060. Thank you.

1061. Up next, Brita.

1062. Tonight on the runway,

1063. I'm gonna compliment your body shape,

1064. because you just do it so well.

1065. But I am never a fan of chaps.

1066. I think it's very nightclubby.

1067. That really chaps your ass, doesn't it?

1068. It chaps my ass, Carson.

1069. I would have made the cape

1070. a bit more of the statement piece.

1071. If the challenge is cape, give us a cape.

1072. In the acting challenge, you were very, very consistent,

1073. but still, it might have been nicer

1074. to see some different highs and lows.

1075. Okay.

1076. You kind of got stuck doing one thing.

1077. We wanna see you take her

1078. and give her as much meat as you can.

1079. Up next, Heidi 'n' Seekie.

1080. Just trying new things, you know.

1081. Sitting here watching you,

1082. you look like a young Diana Ross tonight.

1083. Thank you.

1084. We're gonna talk about your performance in Gay's Anatomy.

1085. I am a greedy, greedy-ass bottom at times,

1086. and I always want more.

1087. More, more, more.

1088. Same.

1089. They say there are no small parts, only small actors,

1090. but there were moments where I know you could have gone for it.

1091. When you're about to be sawed in half,

1092. and you started screaming and getting hysterical,

1093. it just needed more of that throughout

1094. to make that smaller part really memorable.

1095. Unfortunately, I didn't love this runway look.

1096. I almost feel like I'm looking at two different outfits.

1097. This is totally disconnected, because underneath,

1098. there's a glamorous dominatrix feel.

1099. And then the hair's kind of a different era

1100. than the outfit is.

1101. It just doesn't quite make sense.

1102. Up next, Crystal Methyd.

1103. I think you guys together are pretty magical.

1104. I've been asked to direct Human Centipede IV,

1105. and I'm gonna call both of you.

1106. You were able to layer on some nuances,

1107. like the physical comedy.

1108. When Heidi would push down on the fork,

1109. you would pop up in the back.

1110. That's great stuff.

1111. I haven't gotten a chance to talk to you

1112. since you've switched up your makeup.

1113. Crystal, it's so beautiful.

1114. Thank you.

1115. When you did that kind of clowny stuff,

1116. it was almost muddy-looking.

1117. Your artistry now is much more crisp and clear.

1118. Your outfit is beautiful,

1119. and you're giving me Moana vibes.

1120. You look like a Polynesian queen.

1121. It's really gorgeous.

1122. Those boots, however, have no place in this outfit.

1123. I'm sorry.

1124. Aah!

1125. Up next, Nicky Doll.

1126. So in Gay's Anatomy, you actually had a role

1127. that I would want, because it's so ridiculous.

1128. And I will give you credit for trying to work the French in.

1129. Ooh, sacre bleu!

1130. But you definitely could have taken that

1131. so much further than you did.

1132. You had the right attitude,

1133. and you were going down the right path.

1134. I just wanted you to do more with this super-funny drag baby.

1135. That's why I picked it,

1136. because it was so over-the-top and ridiculous,

1137. because I know that you've been calling me out a lot

1138. on not showing my quirky side.

1139. You did a good job.

1140. It really gets down to minor details at this point.

1141. Tonight on the runway,

1142. this Mugler-esque outfit is beautiful.

1143. It's giving me Beyonce's Sweet Dreams.

1144. - Oh. - Right.

1145. But the outfit is really about a cape,

1146. and for me, that cloak moment,

1147. I wish you would have kept it on longer.

1148. Because really, that's the cape.

1149. Because that is a piece of fabric on your back.

1150. Now, with all due respect,

1151. you judges have done a rotten job

1152. of helping me make my decision.

1153. So I wanna ask my girls.

1154. Ladies, who should go home tonight...

1155. and why?

1156. Uh-oh.

1157. We'll start with Jaida.

1158. Ooh, child.

1159. I would just have to say Heidi,

1160. because the runway look could have been stepped up.

1161. Brita, same question.

1162. The character that I didn't really understand that well

1163. out of all the girls was Nicky's.

1164. - All right, Heidi.

1165. I feel like the girl that struggled the most is Nicky.

1166. All right. Crystal Methyd.

1167. I'd have to say Nicky.

1168. I love you.

1169. Nicky Doll, what say you?

1170. Due to the challenge, I would say myself.

1171. I do believe that I could have been able to be wittier

1172. in my own language.

1173. I have to translate what you say.

1174. All right, so if it wasn't you that you choose,

1175. which of these other girls would you choose?

1176. Um... only due to the runway, I would have to say Heidi.

1177. All right, ladies, thank you for your honesty.

1178. I think we've heard enough.

1179. Now, while you untuck backstage,

1180. the judges and I will deliberate.

1181. All right, now just between us squirrel friends,

1182. what do you think? Jaida Essence Hall.

1183. Jaida in Gay's Anatomy, I think it was a job well done.

1184. I do, however, think all of those jokes

1185. that came careening at us,

1186. she didn't really understand any of them.

1187. Like homo-toma?

1188. I'm not sure she knew what a hematoma was,

1189. so that's why a homo-toma wouldn't be funny to her.

1190. The runway look I actually really loved,

1191. so I kind of just wanna see more and more and more.

1192. Brita, please.

1193. Brita as Sandra Okurr, she was very prepared.

1194. But I think that there is such thing as over-preparing,

1195. because it takes away the spontaneous moment.

1196. Spontaneity, yeah, mm-hmm.

1197. It felt a little bit flat.

1198. And guys, this is a cape challenge.

1199. She was wearing a negligee.

1200. I don't mind that it was lighter

1201. in contrast to the heavy fabric,

1202. but it wasn't enough of a cape

1203. for me to go, oh, that outfit's about the cape.

1204. No, that outfit was about the bodysuit.

1205. Heidi.

1206. Tonight on the runway was probably my least favorite.

1207. She had a disco dominatrix underneath,

1208. and on top, just rainbow colors with the Bob Mackie sticks.

1209. I think what she really needed to do

1210. was just hone in on one idea.

1211. I think maybe her sensibility is not yet fully developed,

1212. but she's so likable,

1213. you just wanna root for her all the time.

1214. Crystal Methyd.

1215. She had such a good time in that challenge with Heidi.

1216. They were really connected.

1217. They were really connected, Carson.

1218. Tonight on the runway,

1219. I thought this was really pretty for Crystal,

1220. because we've seen her look so weird.

1221. I think the thing about Crystal

1222. is that we didn't know if she was gonna be a one-trick pony

1223. when I saw her walk that first runway,

1224. and she's been changing it up.

1225. Normani, when you see her out of drag,

1226. she has this El Debarge mullet...

1227. .. that is so captivating.

1228. The only thing missing is some Jheri curl juice.

1229. - Yeah. - Nicky Doll.

1230. When I first saw the drag queen baby,

1231. I thought, this is a perfect way

1232. for Nicky to show us her kookiness,

1233. show us what you say you are.

1234. And then it went nowhere.

1235. Even on the runway, it felt like she had quit a little bit early.

1236. She just did the reveal too quickly.

1237. And then she walked, but it just didn't have that vitality.

1238. When I asked the girls who they would send home,

1239. it was very interesting that Nicky Doll really chose herself.

1240. You really have to wanna be here

1241. and fight tooth and nail for every moment.

1242. Sometimes a lip sync is a great equalizer in life.

1243. I wish the presidential candidates

1244. would take a cue from us.

1245. - Me, too. - All right, silence.

1246. I've made my decision.

1247. Bring back my girls.

1248. Welcome back, ladies.

1249. I've made some decisions.

1250. Jaida Essence Hall.

1251. This week, you boss-bitched your way through.

1252. - You're safe. - Thank you.

1253. You may join the other girls.

1254. Thank you.

1255. Oh, bitch.

1256. Crystal Methyd.

1257. You skewered the acting challenge,

1258. and your cape was overflowing.

1259. You're safe.

1260. Thank you.

1261. You may join the other girls.

1262. Nicky Doll.

1263. Your drag baby made us laugh,

1264. but you needed to work on the delivery.

1265. Brita. As Dr. Sandra,

1266. the judges wanted more than just "okurr."

1267. Heidi, you're forking fabulous,

1268. but your runway look didn't cut it.

1269. Brita.

1270. You are safe.

1271. Thank you.

1272. You may join the other girls.

1273. Thank you.

1274. That means Nicky and Heidi,

1275. I'm sorry, my dears, but you are up for elimination.

1276. Two queens stand before me.

1277. Ladies, this is your last chance to impress me

1278. and save yourself from elimination.

1279. The time has come...

1280. for you to lip sync...

1281. for your life!

1282. I am a girl from Paris who had big dreams,

1283. competing against a small-town girl

1284. that has just as big of a dream.

1285. This is gonna be intense.

1286. Good luck, and don't fuck it up.

1287. I'm not going home. I refuse.

1288. I'm sorry, Nicky.

1289. This has become my stage right now.

1290. She's fighting.

1291. Hoo!

1292. Nice!

1293. Ladies, I've made my decision.

1294. Heidi, shantay you stay.

1295. Thank you so much.

1296. This means the world.

1297. I won't let you down again.

1298. Nicky Doll, we have to say au revoir,

1299. but you'll always be my baby.

1300. Now sashay away.

1301. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

1302. for allowing this young French gay kid

1303. that grew up watching this show to finally be on that stage.

1304. I don't belong to any drag family,

1305. but now I can finally say that I belong to one.

1306. And I love you all, and thank you. Thank you.

1307. Thank you.

1308. We love you, Nicky!

1309. We love you so much!

1310. I'm feeling sad.

1311. I really wanted the judges to see who Nicky Doll was,

1312. and sadly, it didn't pay off the way I wanted.

1313. But at the end of the day,

1314. it has been such a dream to be here,

1315. and I hope that I made my country proud.

1316. There's so much more to come, so be ready for me, girl.

1317. Can I untuck now?

1318. Con-drag-ulations, ladies.

1319. And remember, if you can't love yourself,

1320. how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?

1321. Can I get an "amen" up in here?

1322. - Amen! - Amen!

1323. All right, now let the music play.

1324. Next time, on RuPaul's Drag Race...

1325. We're playing the Snatch Game.

1326. We've got company!

1327. Bam, bitch, yeah!

1328. - Vanjie! - Miss Vanjie!

1329. I loved your performance in the Snatch Game.

1330. You are so funny.

1331. I didn't expect you to be like, you know, calling Ru a bitch.

1332. I don't know why my scene partner

1333. wasn't in the bottom.

1334. Ooh, the prime example of what not to do.
