1. Previously on 'Prison Break':Copy !req
2. Think of this place like a map of the
US. Our cell over there, that's New York City.Copy !req
3. The infirmary, our exit, that's California.Copy !req
4. The pipes beneath us that connect the two...Copy !req
5. - Route 66.
- Our ticket out of here.Copy !req
6. Route 66 runs beneath that building. It's the
only building sitting on top of those tunnels.Copy !req
7. All we gotta do is get in there,
on Pl, and dig ourselves an onramp.Copy !req
8. - Which one?
- Right there.Copy !req
9. This goes down four feet.
Connects to the main line below.Copy !req
10. All we've gotta do is widen it and
we've got ourselves an onramp to Route 66.Copy !req
11. I'm gonna find out, you know,
what it is you're doing up there.Copy !req
12. You told me that
you had been up in the crawlspace for Pl,Copy !req
13. and Pl was never assigned to go there.Copy !req
14. We got you a little get well gift.Copy !req
15. What's your name?Copy !req
16. There was an explosion.
Gas line. Everyone inside was killed.Copy !req
17. - These people won't stop until we're dead.
- We can't hide forever.Copy !req
18. How about that kid?
The one killed his parents?Copy !req
19. Oh, they got him. He's in custody.Copy !req
20. I know what you look like, you son of a bitch.Copy !req
21. Philly Falzone.Copy !req
22. Word is someone knows where Fibonacci is
and you're not doing anything about it.Copy !req
23. Help me.Copy !req
24. Please.Copy !req
25. You'll have to forgive my boy.Copy !req
26. He has the propensity to be a bit gregarious
when he shouldn't be.Copy !req
27. Fraternising in the prison shower. Come on.Copy !req
28. Maybe you oughta cut the kid a break.Copy !req
29. You wouldn't be meddling in my affairs,
now, would you?Copy !req
30. You can't be that stupid.Copy !req
31. Not while I'm so fully invested in your affairs.Copy !req
32. What's between you and him
is between you and him.Copy !req
33. That's what I thought you said.Copy !req
34. You've gotta help me.Copy !req
35. - You gotta help me.
- This is a matter for the police.Copy !req
36. This is my son we're talking about.
He's missing. Do something!Copy !req
37. You have got to understand,
I am the warden of a prison.Copy !req
38. When it comes to the law,
there is nothing I can do.Copy !req
39. Whatever happens is out of my jurisdiction
until it comes through those gates.Copy !req
40. - It just did. Let me out.
- What?Copy !req
41. Let me find him. I know how he thinks.
I know where he'd run.Copy !req
42. I'd have thought by now you'd understand
your position as a death row inmate.Copy !req
43. There is no way I can honour that request.Copy !req
44. That ain't true. In case of a family emergency,
you can grant an inmate supervised leave.Copy !req
45. Your son is a prime suspect
in a double homicide.Copy !req
46. Hey.Copy !req
47. What do you think this is, a siesta?Copy !req
48. You see that? You see my face up there?
Any idea how it got there?Copy !req
49. Work ethic. Those two words
mean anything in your country?Copy !req
50. You're on Pl, so quit slow-walking me.
I'm not gonna warn you again.Copy !req
51. What are you looking at?Copy !req
52. The bulls find this stuff,
they'll know we're digging.Copy !req
53. That's why we gotta get rid of it.
One piece at a time.Copy !req
54. Attention in the yard.
All prisoners remain 40ft away from gate A.Copy !req
55. New prisoners arriving in five minutes.Copy !req
56. I repeat, attention in the yard.
All prisoners remain 40ft away from gate A.Copy !req
57. New prisoners arriving in five minutes.Copy !req
58. Attention in the yard. All prisoners maintain
a 40ft perimeter around gate A.Copy !req
59. Freshmen.Copy !req
60. Best put on our jail face, BG.Copy !req
61. These crabs see you puckering,
they bitchify you in a heartbeat.Copy !req
62. - I gotta find something else to call you now.
- Why's that?Copy !req
63. Cos you ain't a fish no more.
You ain't the newest con in the tank.Copy !req
64. I could've done something.Copy !req
65. No.Copy !req
66. T-Bag had his hooks in that kid.
There was nothing you could have done.Copy !req
67. I could've told the Pope.
He could've transferred the kid to ADSEG.Copy !req
68. Go easy, Michael. You didn't even know him.Copy !req
69. And that makes it OK? I turned my back
on him because I didn't wanna make waves.Copy !req
70. It was just... easierCopy !req
71. to look the other way,Copy !req
72. keep the plan safe.Copy !req
73. And you did.Copy !req
74. But at what price?Copy !req
75. That's not how she raised us.Copy !req
76. A man's down, you give him your hand.Copy !req
77. She'd roll over in her grave if she knew.Copy !req
78. She wouldn't.
You've given me your hand, Michael.Copy !req
79. My son's out there
with a bull's eye on his back.Copy !req
80. Do whatever you gotta do
to get us out of here. Please.Copy !req
81. What are you doing?Copy !req
82. I was just looking for some coffee.Copy !req
83. There isn't any.Copy !req
84. They belonged to my father,
if you were wondering.Copy !req
85. - How long have they been in there?
- I don't know. Five years?Copy !req
86. You know, Veronica, we've been through a lot
and I'm freaking out here as much as you are,Copy !req
87. but you get this look in your eye sometimes
like... like I'm the bad guy.Copy !req
88. I don't know who you are. You just magically
show up like some knight in shining armour.Copy !req
89. You know, I think
you seem to be forgetting something here.Copy !req
90. I'm in the cross hairs the same way you are,
all for your ex, who is a scumbag criminalCopy !req
91. who just happens to be in prison
for the one crime he didn't commit.Copy !req
92. You know something? I got enough of my
own crap to deal with. You wanna go, you go.Copy !req
93. - Mind if I lamp with you, cuzzo?
- Roll, snowflake.Copy !req
94. Hey, man, I'm just... I'm just new, you know?
I'm looking for some homies.Copy !req
95. - I said roll.
- Brother, I'm just launching.Copy !req
96. Yeah? Well, launch somewhere else,
white boy.Copy !req
97. All right, y'all.Copy !req
98. I'm fitting to bounce.Copy !req
99. Peace.Copy !req
100. Boy's a bit confused about his pigmentation,Copy !req
101. but he sure does have spunk, doesn't he?Copy !req
102. - Abruzzi!
- Yeah?Copy !req
103. What are you doing?Copy !req
104. What do you mean, what am I doing?Copy !req
105. - First of the month's coming up, John.
- Yeah? So?Copy !req
106. I haven't got my monthly.Copy !req
107. - What?
- I checked my balance. It's looking deficient.Copy !req
108. Uh...Copy !req
109. It's gotta be some kind of a mistake,
like an accounting error.Copy !req
110. Yeah. Tell Falzone
I don't stand for accounting errors.Copy !req
111. I'm going back into my office at the end of
the day. Gonna check my balance again.Copy !req
112. If it's not up to where it's supposed to be,
all these privileges you got,Copy !req
113. like running Pl,Copy !req
114. they're gone.Copy !req
115. Get it done, John.Copy !req
116. - Falzone Enterprises.
- Get Philly.Copy !req
117. - Mr Falzone's not available.
- You tell him it's John Abruzzi calling.Copy !req
118. - I'm sorry. I didn't realise.
- Well, now you do.Copy !req
119. Um...Copy !req
120. - I'm sorry. He's gonna have to call you back.
- What? Hey...Copy !req
121. I'm sorry. About before.Copy !req
122. Pressure's getting to us, that's all.Copy !req
123. Good news is nobody can reach us out here.
My old man made sure of that.Copy !req
124. Never even hooked up the telephone.
Same with the well and the generator.Copy !req
125. I used to think he was
some kind of conspiracy theory wacko.Copy !req
126. - Turns out maybe he was right.
- I can't stay, Nick.Copy !req
127. I gotta get back. He's got less than two weeks.Copy !req
128. The old man called this his serious tie.Copy !req
129. He only wore it
when he really, really meant business.Copy !req
130. Be dangerous showing our faces again.Copy !req
131. Not if they're not looking for us.
They think we're dead.Copy !req
132. Yeah, but how long is that gonna last?Copy !req
133. Gotta be quick, be smart about it.
We're just gonna be running in circlesCopy !req
134. if we think we can find exculpatory evidence
before the execution.Copy !req
135. I've gone up against every prosecutor
in Cook County.Copy !req
136. Man gets murdered, the first person they
talk to to see who his enemies were, the wife.Copy !req
137. - You wanna go after the queen bee herself?
- Leslie Steadman.Copy !req
138. Everyone in town knows the old bird
lunches at the Lexington every dayCopy !req
139. with the society set.Copy !req
140. Hey, hey. Hey, hey!Copy !req
141. Slow down. Slow down!Copy !req
142. Man, your brother's gonna give us away.Copy !req
143. - Bull's coming.
- Let's move.Copy !req
144. Hurry up, guys. Move it.Copy !req
145. - All right.
- Everybody out.Copy !req
146. - What?
- I said everybody out.Copy !req
147. Now.Copy !req
148. Move it!Copy !req
149. - Where are we going?
- Around the corner.Copy !req
150. And don't move a damn muscle
till I come get you. Go!Copy !req
151. What the hell's going on?Copy !req
152. - We're so bad, aren't we?
- You're damn skippy. Let's go.Copy !req
153. - You gotta give us more of a warning.
- I'm sorry. He just showed up.Copy !req
154. Mm. Mm. Mm.Copy !req
155. Oh, we're gonna get caught by the warden. Oh!Copy !req
156. Baby, right now,
in this room, at this moment,Copy !req
157. - I am the warden.
- Oh!Copy !req
158. - Then say it.
- No.Copy !req
159. - Come on, baby, say it.
- Oh!Copy !req
160. - Say it.
- You're the warden, Louis!Copy !req
161. Yes, yes.Copy !req
162. The sneaky son of a bitch.Copy !req
163. You think he found the hole?Copy !req
164. Another inch and he'd have found it. We need
to find something to cover this hole ASAP.Copy !req
165. Broke. What do you mean, broke?Copy !req
166. The C-Corp, the investment accounts,Copy !req
167. even the offshore stuff, Caymans, Bermuda...
Philly Falzone liquidated everything.Copy !req
168. Hey, I told you from the beginning
what would happen if you screwed me.Copy !req
169. I heeded it. That's why I warned you from the
get-go not to give Philly power of attorney.Copy !req
170. We had that conversation, remember?Copy !req
171. Look, the only real funds you have left
are the 30,000 in your wife's pocket account.Copy !req
172. - Now, I can...
- Don't. Don't touch that.Copy !req
173. Nobody touches that but her.Copy !req
174. What do I tell her? You know, about all this?Copy !req
175. Don't tell her anything, OK?Copy !req
176. The statements are going to come.
She's going to know.Copy !req
177. Hey, I told you.Copy !req
178. Don't tell her.Copy !req
179. All right?Copy !req
180. You got a problem with that?Copy !req
181. OK, John. You know where to contact me
if you need anything else.Copy !req
182. The same goes for you.Copy !req
183. Hey.Copy !req
184. Hey!Copy !req
185. - Philly.
- You.Copy !req
186. So good to see you.
For you, the answer's always yes, Philly.Copy !req
187. Sit down.Copy !req
188. - Sit down.
- Come on, John.Copy !req
189. There's no record
of a Fox River medical practiceCopy !req
190. on our list of participating HMOs or PPOs.Copy !req
191. That's because we're a state penitentiary,
and we're in kind of a unique situation here.Copy !req
192. Mr Scofield's insurance policy
from his previous employer hasn't lapsed.Copy !req
193. The state's demanding that you pay
for his treatment and not the taxpayers.Copy !req
194. OK. Well, it says here
he already met his deductible.Copy !req
195. OK.Copy !req
196. Oh, no, wait. That's his psych deductible,
not his medical.Copy !req
197. Sorry. Psych as in psychiatric?Copy !req
198. Did I give you permission to call Philly?
Hey, I asked you a question, man.Copy !req
199. Listen. There, uh...
there's been a restructuring.Copy !req
200. This comes from Philly himself.Copy !req
201. You couldn't deliver Fibonacci,
so I'm the man in here now.Copy !req
202. Run to the commissary and get me a packet
of chips. We'll pretend this never happened.Copy !req
203. No, I'm telling you, John. The sooner you face
these facts, the better off we will all be.Copy !req
204. I can kill you in a heartbeat.Copy !req
205. Somehow, I doubt that.Copy !req
206. The sooner you face facts,
the better off we will all be.Copy !req
207. You're yesterday's news, John.Copy !req
208. - What's the word? Y'all cooking brownies?
- Act your race, milk chicken.Copy !req
209. What's the deal, yo?
You got tough buckets or something?Copy !req
210. You're a disgrace to your skin,
you know that?Copy !req
211. The boy just slipped.Copy !req
212. The boy just slipped.Copy !req
213. Ain't that right?Copy !req
214. - Come on. Stand up.
- Cons, let's get back to your cells.Copy !req
215. What's your name, boy?Copy !req
216. - Who's that?
- Stolte.Copy !req
217. Stolte. You've heard about my kid, right?Copy !req
218. - Take the tray, Linc.
- l, uh...Copy !req
219. I just need to call him.Copy !req
220. Just take the tray, or I'm gonna shove it
in there and you can eat it off the ground.Copy !req
221. You have a son. Josh.Copy !req
222. Don't do anything stupid, Linc.Copy !req
223. I'm not. I just wanna ask you a question,
then I'm gonna let go.Copy !req
224. What if it were Josh?Copy !req
225. What if it were your son?Copy !req
226. Please.Copy !req
227. - Dad?
- LJ. Thank God. Are you all right?Copy !req
228. No. Nowhere near it.Copy !req
229. - What do you mean? Where are you?
- What they're saying about me, it's not true.Copy !req
230. - I know it's not true.
- They killed her. They killed her.Copy !req
231. Right in front of me.
Right in front of my eyes.Copy !req
232. - You gotta...
- Why are they doing this?Copy !req
233. You gotta step up. You gotta be the man now.Copy !req
234. - You understand me, LJ?
- Yeah.Copy !req
235. - OK. I want you to call Veronica.
- Her number is disconnected. I already tried.Copy !req
236. Nick Savrinn. You call Nick Savrinn.
Works for Project Justice.Copy !req
237. You call him once we're done. You got it?Copy !req
238. Nick Savrinn. OK.Copy !req
239. - OK, I'll call. I'll call.
- All right, man.Copy !req
240. Hang in there, man. It's gonna be all right.Copy !req
241. Hey...Copy !req
242. - They're here.
- Who's here?Copy !req
243. LJ?Copy !req
244. LJ!Copy !req
245. You hear that?Copy !req
246. Did you hear it?Copy !req
247. You know what that means?Copy !req
248. Why don't you ask your mom what it means?Copy !req
249. Oh, I'm sorry. You might have trouble getting
an answer out of her right about now, huh?Copy !req
250. LJ?Copy !req
251. - I saw that.
- Just getting connected, that's all.Copy !req
252. There she is.Copy !req
253. Mrs Steadman? I'm Dick Sisler.Copy !req
254. This is Francette Kelly
of the National Victims' Rights Association.Copy !req
255. We assist victims of violent crimes, gather
support for tough-on-crime politicians.Copy !req
256. If your organisation's looking for a hand-out,
you can go through my business manager.Copy !req
257. Ma'am, that is not why we're here, actually.
May we sit down?Copy !req
258. We hoped you could help us with one of our
more public cases. The Lincoln Burrows case.Copy !req
259. He's making claims that he's innocent, that
others had motive to murder your husband.Copy !req
260. - I don't have time for a long conversation.
- It doesn't have to be long.Copy !req
261. If we talked about who had motive
to kill Terrence, we'd be here all day.Copy !req
262. - I'm sorry?
- Look around.Copy !req
263. Half the people here
were shareholders in his company.Copy !req
264. Every one of them sat at my husband's memorialCopy !req
265. and every one of them was thinking
the same thing: 'Thank God he's gone.'Copy !req
266. - Why would they think that?
- Money.Copy !req
267. As soon as rumours of the indictment started,
they ran for the exits.Copy !req
268. - I wasn't aware of any indictment.
- It never came down. He died first.Copy !req
269. - Anything to do with Ecofield?
- Do the math. CEO gets indicted for fraud.Copy !req
270. Investors start losing money. Lots of money.
If I didn't know Burrows pulled that trigger,Copy !req
271. I'd say it was any one of these people in the...Copy !req
272. restaurant. We're talking
half a billion dollars.Copy !req
273. People have killed for a lot less.Copy !req
274. Hey, what's up? 'Sup?Copy !req
275. Not a good position
you find yourself in, is it?Copy !req
276. Whites don't want you. Blacks don't want you.Copy !req
277. You're just caught in the middle, aren't you?Copy !req
278. A regular 'Tweener.Copy !req
279. We're different, you and me, lot of ways.Copy !req
280. But, you know,
the funny thing is we're also a lot alike.Copy !req
281. Couple of dogs with runny noses
that nobody loves.Copy !req
282. How's that knee, by the way?Copy !req
283. - What the hell are you doing?
- Don't get me wrong. I'm just a friend.Copy !req
284. - A fruity friend. I don't need none of that.
- Easy.Copy !req
285. No. No. You think you're getting up in this,
you got another thing coming, you homo.Copy !req
286. - You got a foul mouth, you know that?
- Yeah. I do.Copy !req
287. And you come near me again,
I'm gonna kill you.Copy !req
288. Well, then,
you're just gonna have to, little man.Copy !req
289. - You sleep with one eye open.
- Bring it on.Copy !req
290. - Oh, I'm gonna bring it on in spades.
- You oughta leave that kid alone.Copy !req
291. Maybe you are in no position
to be telling me my business. Hm?Copy !req
292. That's what I thought.Copy !req
293. I'm sure you can understand
my reluctance to discuss past patients.Copy !req
294. My understanding is that under HlPAA
we're allowed to share informationCopy !req
295. as long as it furthers the care of the patient.Copy !req
296. I'm not accustomed to making
enquiries like this, but l...Copy !req
297. I feel like I can get through to him.Copy !req
298. I can help him.Copy !req
299. - I imagine he needs it in there.
- What did you treat him for?Copy !req
300. Michael suffered from a couple of things.Copy !req
301. One was a condition
called low latent inhibition.Copy !req
302. Sorry. I'm not familiar with the term.Copy !req
303. People who suffer from low latent inhibitionCopy !req
304. see everyday things like you or I do,
like this lamp.Copy !req
305. But where we just process the image
of a lamp, they process everything.Copy !req
306. The stem, the bulb, the bolts,
even the washers inside.Copy !req
307. Their brains are more open to incoming
stimuli in the surrounding environment.Copy !req
308. Other people's brains - yours and mine -
shut out the same information.Copy !req
309. We have to do it in order to keep our sanity.Copy !req
310. If someone with a low lQ
has low latent inhibition,Copy !req
311. it almost always results in mental illness.Copy !req
312. But if someone has a high lQ,
it almost always results in creative genius.Copy !req
313. Do you think Michael's a genius?Copy !req
314. Well, I think that word's been derogated
in the media these days.Copy !req
315. But in the classic sense of the word, yes, I do.Copy !req
316. You... you said there was something else
you treated him for?Copy !req
317. He came to me
with absolutely no sense of self-worth.Copy !req
318. The loss of both parents
very often does that to a child.Copy !req
319. But with the low latent inhibition,
something interesting happened to Michael.Copy !req
320. He became very attuned
to all the suffering around him.Copy !req
321. He couldn't shut it out.Copy !req
322. He became a rescuer,Copy !req
323. one of those people who are more concerned
with other people's welfare than their own.Copy !req
324. I didn't know all this about him.Copy !req
325. Then maybe you don't know Michael Scofield.Copy !req
326. Yeah.Copy !req
327. I checked my voicemail at work.Copy !req
328. Lincoln's son LJ just left me a message.
He's in trouble.Copy !req
329. - Hello?
- LJ, it's Veronica. Where are you?Copy !req
330. Oh, Veronica, I don't know.
You gotta come get me.Copy !req
331. We can't, OK? We're not in Chicago.
You have to come to us.Copy !req
332. Oh. All right. Where's that?Copy !req
333. Oh.Copy !req
334. Oh. How the hell do they know where I am?Copy !req
335. - What's going on?
- How do they know where I am?Copy !req
336. - LJ, LJ, I want you to listen to me.
- Everywhere I go, they're there.Copy !req
337. I want you to listen to me, OK? I need you
to come to us. We're in Lake Mercer.Copy !req
338. - Where's that?
- On the lowa border.Copy !req
339. There's a bus station. We'll meet you there.Copy !req
340. - They're still alive.
- The bird in the hand just became three.Copy !req
341. - Keep your cellphone open.
- Let's go.Copy !req
342. - But the kid's right...
- Let's go.Copy !req
343. - OK.
- OK, what?Copy !req
344. OK, I'll keep it open.
They're leaving. They're leaving.Copy !req
345. LJ, I need to know that you hear me, OK?
Lake Mercer.Copy !req
346. Lake Mercer. OK.Copy !req
347. All right, bye.Copy !req
348. What the hell are you doing?Copy !req
349. Delivering yesterday's news.Copy !req
350. Your bus leaves from depot six
in just a few minutes.Copy !req
351. Thanks.Copy !req
