- Wow!Copy !req
46. All right, all right.Copy !req
47. - Looks good.
- Looking good.Copy !req
48. Oh, God damn.Copy !req
49. Wow, check it.Copy !req
50. It's bigger,
but not necessarily better.Copy !req
51. - I like the new color.
- It's the same color.Copy !req
52. - I miss the old place.
- Don't be daft.Copy !req
53. All right, Officer Murphy will now

54. - I want a room with a view.

62. America might never

63. Or Thomas Moore,Copy !req
64. the statesman,

65. who was sent

66. for being honest
with his king.Copy !req
67. Moore's reward

68. Help! Help me!Copy !req

74. My friends,
there are timesCopy !req
75. when we are guilty
for our actionsCopy !req
76. and should be punished

77. But there are times
when our actions,Copy !req
78. however cruel,
leave us blameless...Copy !req
79. because we have punished
the guilty.Copy !req
80. Amen.Copy !req
81. Now let us pray.Copy !req
82. Dear Lord,Copy !req
83. we ask you to continue
the recoveryCopy !req
84. of the Reverend

92. who took

93. for sealing Reverend Cloutier
in the wall.Copy !req
94. Jaz is a good man,
Lord,Copy !req
95. who suffers needlessly

96. Look down upon him, Lord,
keep him strong.Copy !req
97. Gloria, has Cloutier
arrived yet?Copy !req
98. - Uh, yeah.
- I need to see him.Copy !req
99. Hoyt was in charge
of rebuilding that kitchen wall.Copy !req
100. So I got him in solitary
but he won't say who else is involved.Copy !req
101. So I need
Cloutier to tell me.Copy !req
102. He can't, not yet. His throat
was damaged during the fire.Copy !req
103. He can hardly make
any sounds at all.Copy !req
104. - Is he conscious?
- Occasionally.Copy !req
105. Then he can nod his head yes or no
when I read him a list of names.Copy !req
106. - Where is he?
- In the private room.Copy !req
107. Tim, wait.Copy !req
108. He was very badly burned
during the explosion.Copy !req
109. The fact that he survived
at all is a miracle.Copy !req
110. Hallelujah.Copy !req
111. I just want to prepare you
for what you're gonna see.Copy !req
112. You have any visitors
coming today?Copy !req
113. - Yeah, my sister Annette.
- Nice.Copy !req
114. Yeah, she's a great gal.
I love her to death.Copy !req
115. She's always been there
for me when I needed her.Copy !req
116. She's also
a bit of a head case.Copy !req
117. - Got a light?
- No, there's no smoking.Copy !req
118. Oh. Scootch over.Copy !req
119. I wanna sit down.Copy !req
120. I hope you didn't mind
when I got on the bus,Copy !req
121. me flirting with you.Copy !req
122. No, I just...Copy !req
123. Ccause I know how you priests
don't go in for girls.Copy !req
124. - You know, actually—
- Oh no, I'm sorry.Copy !req
125. That came out wrong.
I mean...Copy !req
126. You swear to God
you'll never have sex.Copy !req
127. - Uh, well yes, but—
- Do you know my brother?Copy !req
128. Sure, he comes to mass
every Sunday.Copy !req
129. Enrique?
At mass?Copy !req
130. Jesus, he must be
bored out of his mind.Copy !req
131. Oh no, I'm so—Copy !req
132. That came out wrong.Copy !req
133. I'm sure you give
a very cheery service, father.Copy !req
134. Only my brother
is not like,Copy !req
135. You know,
of the churchgoing variety.Copy !req
136. I got to admit
that most of the guysCopy !req
137. just come because they want
a break the monotony.Copy !req
138. I haven't seen Enrique
in three years.Copy !req
139. Been in South Beach.Copy !req
140. What were you doing
down there?Copy !req
141. Bartending, mostly.Copy !req
142. I tried to go for some modeling jobs
'cause I got a good figure,Copy !req
143. but, you know,
I wasn't willingCopy !req
144. to play the games.
You know what I'm saying?Copy !req
145. Yeah, I think I do.Copy !req
146. The guys try to take
advantage, huh?Copy !req
147. Exactly, which is why I need
to speak to Enrique.Copy !req
148. 'Cause one certain guy
took too much advantage.Copy !req
149. My fucking husband.Copy !req
150. He hurt you?Copy !req
151. I loved that Cuban cocksucker
with all of my heartCopy !req
152. and he cuts
a chunk out of me.Copy !req
153. I need Enrique
to talk to Xavier.Copy !req
154. To call him from Oz?Copy !req
155. My brother's voice
travels far.Copy !req
156. He don't need a phone,
if you know what I'm saying.Copy !req
157. No, please don't tell
me any more.Copy !req
158. You're a priest.
You can't say nothing to nobody.Copy !req
159. That's only
during confession.Copy !req
160. We're not in a confessional,
we're on a bus.Copy !req
161. - Don't get so technical.
- Uh, annette,Copy !req
162. What you're about to ask
your brother is wrong.Copy !req
163. Bullshit!
Look at my arm.Copy !req
164. I didn't say that what
your husband did was right.Copy !req
165. I'm just saying that's not
gonna solve the problem.Copy !req
166. Fuck you,Copy !req
167. you self-righteous
jizzball.Copy !req
168. You don't know
dick about dick.Copy !req
169. And that came out exactly
the way I meant it.Copy !req
170. Listen up.Copy !req
171. When I give the order,
you are to walkCopy !req
172. from your cell
and form a single line.Copy !req
173. Step out.Copy !req
174. - All right.
- Hey, what's going on?Copy !req
175. No talking.Copy !req
176. - Holy shit.
- New and improved.Copy !req
177. No talking.Copy !req
178. Okay. During the reconstruction
we discoveredCopy !req
179. that there are problems in the air ducts
throughout the building.Copy !req
180. We need to clean out
the ducts in solitary.Copy !req
181. And so, until that job
is complete,Copy !req
182. I'm going to put you all
back into gen pop.Copy !req
183. - Hey.
- There you go. Awesome.Copy !req
184. - No talking.
- I didn't say shit.Copy !req
185. Now this is a second
chance for you slugs.Copy !req
186. If you behave yourself
over the next few days,Copy !req
187. You won't have to return
to solitary, understood?Copy !req
188. - Don't fuck this opportunity up.
- Warden?Copy !req
189. Exactly what is the problem
with the air ducts?Copy !req
190. That's none of your
concern, White.Copy !req
191. What air duct?
That's the air we breathe, right?Copy !req
192. What part of "no talking"
don't you understand?Copy !req
193. I've got a constitutional right
to breathe fresh air.Copy !req
194. - I mean, fuck a duck.
- Breathe, brother, breathe.Copy !req
195. - Where are you going?
- See McManus.Copy !req
196. He ain't here.
Get back in line.Copy !req
197. Welcome home, Miguel.Copy !req
198. I've been hoping
and praying for this day.Copy !req
199. We've got unsettled
business, you and me.Copy !req
200. - Oh yeah?
- You killed my boysCopy !req
201. Carlo Ricardo
and Jorge Vasquez.Copy !req
202. You gotta pay.Copy !req
203. Spit, sweat, blood.Copy !req
204. What?Copy !req
205. Bodily fluids, you know.
Fluids the body produces.Copy !req
206. Piss and tears.Copy !req
207. Some are voluntary,
some not so voluntary.Copy !req
208. When I was in my
cubbyhole, you know,Copy !req
209. I had a lot of time
to think about my fluids.Copy !req
210. My juices, you know.
My shit.Copy !req
211. You're fucking nuts,
Alvarez.Copy !req
212. That's right. Right.
That's me, I'm fucking nuts.Copy !req
213. You say I gotta pay?Copy !req
214. Fine, put this on
my tab, okay?Copy !req
215. Hey, what the fuck
is going on in here?Copy !req
216. - We're taking showers.
- With your clothes on?Copy !req
217. Up against the wall.
Come on, move it.Copy !req
218. What, me too?Copy !req
219. Naw, I can see
you're clean.Copy !req
220. All right, confine these
two dinks to their cells.Copy !req
221. Put Guerra in the cage.Copy !req
222. Come on, move it.
Got anything else to say, Alvarez?Copy !req
223. Man is 80% water.Copy !req
224. Hey, Miguel.
You are one lucky fuck.Copy !req
225. Oh, yeah, that's me.Copy !req
226. You know,
I'm Mr. Lucky.Copy !req
227. You know Guerra
wants you deadCopy !req
228. and I can yank him
off your ass.Copy !req
229. If I do what, huh?Copy !req
230. If I kill somebody for you?Copy !req
231. Those days are gone, chica.Copy !req
232. Those days are long gone.Copy !req
233. See, I got no interest
in sniffing the butthole.Copy !req
234. You won't survive solo.
You ain't got the balls.Copy !req
235. - Ain't got what?
- Balls— cojones, pendejo.Copy !req
236. - That's what I'm saying.
- Ah, bolitas, right.Copy !req
237. You see this?Copy !req
238. I did that. Yeah.Copy !req
239. Cut my own face,
you know what I'm saying?Copy !req
240. I shoved a shank
in Rivera's eyes.Copy !req
241. You know what I'm saying?
I slit Vasquez's throat.Copy !req
242. You know what I'm saying?Copy !req
243. I handle a knife better
than a fucking surgeon.Copy !req
244. I got nothing to prove
to you, brother.Copy !req
245. Nothing.Copy !req
246. Come on, get the fuck
out of my face!Copy !req
247. Muévate, muévate,
hombre.Copy !req
248. Hey, Giles.Copy !req
249. Don't think I've forgotten
about you sticking me.Copy !req
250. Little fucking cocksucker.Copy !req
251. Yeah!
Yeah!Copy !req
252. This incident with Giles
concerns me, Alvarez.Copy !req
253. You want to stay out of solitary,
you've got to stay out of trouble.Copy !req
254. You and me both know
that I'm going backCopy !req
255. to solitary
no matter what I do.Copy !req
256. Glynn is not gonna
let me run around free.Copy !req
257. And even if you did
convince him to, I'm doomed.Copy !req
258. You know?Copy !req
259. Attract trouble
like a fucking magnet.Copy !req
260. You know what
quicksilver is?Copy !req
261. - Quicksilver? Yeah.
- Yeah.Copy !req
262. It's like mercury, right?
Stuff they make mirrors with.Copy !req
263. Mirrors, yeah.Copy !req
264. Reflections, right?Copy !req
265. It's just this whole changing mood,
you know what I'm saying?Copy !req
266. I mean,
that's just me, man.Copy !req
267. It's me, McManus.Copy !req
268. You know, I'm just
kind of quicksilver, man.Copy !req
269. Whoosh, you know?Copy !req
270. Hey, Guerra.Copy !req
271. You know, you look
like a fucking gorillaCopy !req
272. I seen one time
in the fucking Bronx Zoo.Copy !req
273. Fuck you. You better hope
they don't let me out of here soonCopy !req
274. 'cause your fucking
black ass is mine.Copy !req
275. Oooooo!
Hey!Copy !req
276. Anybody got a banana
I could feed to the fucking ape?Copy !req
277. Omar.Copy !req
278. There you are.
I've been waiting to see you.Copy !req
279. May I step forward, please?Copy !req
280. All right. Yeah.Copy !req
281. I know I'm always
saying I'm sorryCopy !req
282. for all this nonsense
I keep getting sucked into.Copy !req
283. - Kicking you and stabbing you.
- What, man?Copy !req
284. When the hacks told me
I was coming back to Em CityCopy !req
285. I said McManus
is the man, son.Copy !req
286. Yo, I mean, he got
a heart as big as—Copy !req
287. - I don't know what's as big.
- All right.Copy !req
288. - No, wait, I know what I'm saying.
- Don't fucking touch.Copy !req
289. Even if I'm not saying
the right words,Copy !req
290. I will make good
this time, I promise.Copy !req
291. You know, I'm glad that you're willing
to make another effort,Copy !req
292. but I gotta ask you
a question.Copy !req
293. Why the fuck did you
get so upset with me?Copy !req
294. Why did you kick me
in the head?Copy !req
295. You know, there I am sitting there
watching TV, right?Copy !req
296. And you come up on the screen,
big as day, right?Copy !req
297. And Guerra, fucking Guerra,
he starts making fun.Copy !req
298. - That's how the fight—
- I know all this shit.Copy !req
299. Why did you fucking
attack me?Copy !req
300. 'Cause you didn't say
nothing to me, man.Copy !req
301. About what?Copy !req
302. About being a contestant
on fucking "Up Your Ante."Copy !req
303. I think I know this.Copy !req
304. I mean, here I think
we getting all friendly.Copy !req
305. We shared our thoughts
and feelings.Copy !req
306. And then I gotta find
out you on TVCopy !req
307. the same time as all
the rest of them fucks.Copy !req
308. Oh.Copy !req
309. As a matter of fact, uh...Copy !req
310. you sort of owe me
an apology.Copy !req
311. - Me apologize to you?
- Uh-huh.Copy !req
312. Work detail.Copy !req
313. Go to work, Omar.Copy !req
314. Here you go, Burr,
hot and tasty.Copy !req
315. - Just the way you like it.
- Appreciate it.Copy !req
316. Mericón.Copy !req
317. - Stupid fucking spics.
- Don't worry.Copy !req
318. You're gonna get your chance
to hack up Chico Guerra soon enough.Copy !req
319. That's just the thing of it.Copy !req
320. I'm tired.Copy !req
321. I don't wanna hack
anybody up anymore.Copy !req
322. I'm really, really,
really trying.Copy !req
323. I'm trying to keep it
on the straight and narrow.Copy !req
324. On the up and up,
you know what I'm saying?Copy !req
325. Hey, negro estupido.Copy !req
326. Hey, tamale boy,Copy !req
327. why don't you shut
your fucking mouth?Copy !req
328. What?Copy !req
329. Guerra's not the gorilla.
You are.Copy !req
330. Get the fuck off me,
you black bitch motherfucker.Copy !req
331. I'm gonna fucking get you!
Get off me, you bitch.Copy !req
332. What did you say
about a banana?Copy !req
333. Back in the day
before the day,Copy !req
334. explorers would set out on ships
to discover new worlds.Copy !req
335. Adventurers like Marco Polo
and Christopher ColumbusCopy !req
336. would sail
into the horizonCopy !req
337. not sure if they'd
find a place to landCopy !req
338. or fall off the edge
of the Earth.Copy !req
339. As a result
of their journeys,Copy !req
340. both Polo and ColumbusCopy !req
341. got fame, fortuneCopy !req
342. and a pair of leg irons.Copy !req
343. That's right. The man
who discovered AmericaCopy !req
344. was a con arrested
for embezzlement.Copy !req
345. After a few months
in a dank, dirty dungeon,Copy !req
346. I bet old Chris
started wishingCopy !req
347. he had fallen off
the edge of the Earth.Copy !req
348. Thanks, Father M.Copy !req
349. - She is giggling—
- She's excited to see her grandpa.Copy !req
350. We had the blood test done.
Hank was definitely the dad.Copy !req
351. - I heard.
- Yeah.Copy !req
352. I just want Mr. Schillinger
to be there for Jewel.Copy !req
353. And we don't have
anyone else.Copy !req
354. - What about your parents?
- My folks are back in Montana.Copy !req
355. They don't give two shits
about Jewel and me.Copy !req
356. Maybe in time, Carrie.Copy !req
357. Maybe.Copy !req
358. - It's video games.
- I beg your pardon?Copy !req
359. Hank played video games
all day and into night.Copy !req
360. Video games and videos.Copy !req
361. He watched that
"Natural Born Killers" like 60 times.Copy !req
362. I just think that, you know,
maybe if he hadn't he'd still be alive.Copy !req
363. I don't think
it's that simple, Carrie.Copy !req
364. Hank's upbringing,
family life, education,Copy !req
365. they all had a lot to do
with making him who he was.Copy !req
366. Can you bless my baby, Father?Copy !req
367. Can you take away the curse
that's on her head?Copy !req
368. Curse?Copy !req
369. The one that killed
Hank and his brother.Copy !req
370. The one that put
Mr. Schillinger at Oz.Copy !req

to be happy, you know.Copy !req
372. Have a happy life.Copy !req
373. All right,
I'll say a prayer.Copy !req
374. Can't wait to see
my granddaughter.Copy !req
375. Christ, you gonna get
all mushy again?Copy !req
376. Grub, boys.Copy !req
377. Fuck you calling boy?Copy !req
378. I'm sorry, Schillinger. I know
you're having a rough recoveryCopy !req
379. and I don't wanna say nothing
to loosen up them sutures.Copy !req
380. Hey, what did you do? Serve everybody
else in this fucking prisonCopy !req
381. and then bring us
the shit leftovers?Copy !req
382. Robson, you been
in Oz all this timeCopy !req
383. and now you want
to be a food critic?Copy !req
384. Oh, you're scary, oh.Copy !req
385. We got to get back to
Gen Pop or I'm gonna go stir-crazy.Copy !req
386. Dr. Nathan says
we're at full speed.Copy !req
387. It's time to take
down Kareem Said.Copy !req
388. That fucking nigger's
gonna live to regret shanking us.Copy !req
389. Them Muslims got what
they call a jihad,Copy !req
390. A holy war.Copy !req
391. They ain't seen war
like what's coming.Copy !req
392. Jihad?Copy !req
393. Yee-ha!Copy !req
394. You want to go
to the hole?Copy !req
395. You can't put
me in the hole.Copy !req
396. I'm recuperating.Copy !req
397. Health care,
it's a bitch.Copy !req
398. Thank you.Copy !req
399. Said. Said.Copy !req
400. The warden has decided
to charge you with attempted murderCopy !req
401. for stabbing Robson
and Schillinger.Copy !req
402. - Want to arrange for a public defender?
- No.Copy !req
403. - You intend to represent yourself?
- No.Copy !req
404. I intent to plead guilty.Copy !req
405. Said's in a dark
and ugly place.Copy !req
406. Why should he be any different
that anyone else in Oz?Copy !req
407. Since he killed Adebisi
I've watched himCopy !req
408. becoming more and more
angry, violent.Copy !req
409. This thing with Robson
and SchillingerCopy !req
410. is just one more piece
in a long decline.Copy !req
411. He was defending
Tobias Beecher.Copy !req
412. I'm not debating his motives,
Pete, just his methods.Copy !req
413. The old Said would have never
resorted to violence,Copy !req
414. at least not
as a first step.Copy !req
415. I'm releasing Robson
and Schillinger today.Copy !req
416. - Oh great.
- Can't you keep them longer?Copy !req
417. No, their wounds have healed
and I need the beds.Copy !req
418. Give them a little valium, some prozac,
anything that'll keep them calm.Copy !req
419. - Why not medicate everybody?
- Okay.Copy !req
420. Listen up, I'm not
gonna take any shitCopy !req
421. from the Aryans
or the Muslims.Copy !req
422. I intend to tell them so.Copy !req
423. I want everyone
in the cafeteria at 3 o´clock.Copy !req
424. Don't you want
your mail, Kareem?Copy !req
425. Hey, Tobias. What do you
think of the office?Copy !req
426. It's very snazzy.Copy !req
427. - Yeah.
- And they finally upgraded my computer.Copy !req
428. I've got 128 megabytes of RAM.Copy !req
429. - How is said?
- Seems fine.Copy !req
430. There's concern
among the staffCopy !req
431. about the Muslims
and Aryans.Copy !req
432. For good reason.Copy !req
433. In the shower this morning
I had a thought...Copy !req
434. about you.Copy !req
435. You were thinking about me
while you're naked in the shower?Copy !req
436. Oh boy.Copy !req
437. You and Said are friends.Copy !req
438. And you and Schillinger
were getting along,Copy !req
439. at least until he heard
about your possible parole.Copy !req
440. What if I could organize
an interactionCopy !req
441. between Schillinger,
Said and you?Copy !req
442. If you can broker a peace
between these two,Copy !req
443. You save a lot of lives.Copy !req
444. And, when you're up
for parole againCopy !req
445. at the end
of the year...Copy !req
446. I'll smell even sweeter.Copy !req
447. Yeah.Copy !req
448. Imagine that.Copy !req
449. Said, Schillinger
and I in a three-way?Copy !req
450. No, absolutely not.Copy !req
451. - I'm not going anywhere near Said.
- Vern—Copy !req
452. My people don't associate
with his kind.Copy !req
453. Yet you have
in the past.Copy !req
454. Like when you asked
said to represent youCopy !req
455. in your conspiracy
to commit murder trial.Copy !req
456. - That was different.
- How?Copy !req
457. He hadn't shanked me then.Copy !req
458. That is exactly why the two of you
have to sit down togetherCopy !req
459. and that's why Tobias Beecher
has to be there.Copy !req
460. Vern,Copy !req
461. remember when you
came to meCopy !req
462. wanting to make sense
of your lifeCopy !req
463. so that you could find
some peace of mind, some happiness?Copy !req
464. This is the same.
You'll be able to expressCopy !req
465. whatever it is you're truly
feeling inside.Copy !req
466. What I feel inside...Copy !req
467. is rage.Copy !req
468. But you're smart
enough to knowCopy !req
469. that there's
no comfort in rage.Copy !req
470. Rage feeds
off the soulCopy !req
471. till there is
no soul left.Copy !req
472. I call.Copy !req
473. - Beecher, I call.
- Huh?Copy !req
474. You wanna play cards
or you wanna dick around?Copy !req
475. - I'm out.
- All right, good.Copy !req
476. - My deal, right?
- Yes.Copy !req
477. Something going on, Tobias?Copy !req
478. This is Az, Bob.
There's always something going on.Copy !req
479. - 216.
- What's that?Copy !req
480. Number of days till
my next parole hearing.Copy !req
481. Two matches.
Beecher.Copy !req
482. I bet two.
Are you in or out?Copy !req
483. I am in.Copy !req
484. Oh good, uh...Copy !req
485. sit down, gentlemen,
sit down.Copy !req
486. Sit down.Copy !req
487. I spoke to the three
of you individuallyCopy !req
488. to explain what I hope
we can accomplish here.Copy !req
489. I know there is a lot
of skepticism on your partCopy !req
490. and so I appreciate
you giving this a try.Copy !req
491. We must always
chose life over death.Copy !req
492. You're the one who shanked
me in the back, pal.Copy !req
493. Kareem, Vern, please.
You know the rules.Copy !req
494. Each of you will get
a chance to speak.Copy !req
495. First, I want to hear
from Tobias.Copy !req
496. Yeah.Copy !req
497. I do feel a certain
sense of responsibilityCopy !req
498. about what happened
that day in the library.Copy !req
499. You were happy that
my parole got turned down.Copy !req
500. Given all the shit that's gone on
between us, I can understand that.Copy !req
501. And you saw him and Robson
in my face threatening meCopy !req
502. and you wanted to help.
And I can appreciate that too.Copy !req
503. So...Copy !req
504. you were both justified,
you know, mostly...Copy !req
505. in the way you behaved.Copy !req
506. - Question.
- Go ahead.Copy !req
507. Beecher, would I have been
justified shanking Said?Copy !req
508. I wouldn't have been
taunting him.Copy !req
509. Kareem.Copy !req
510. Do you mean, if the circumstances
were reversedCopy !req
511. - and Said was threatening me?
- Uh-huh.Copy !req
512. Yes, I think you'd be justified
in stabbing him.Copy !req
513. Horseshit.Copy !req
514. Here's whyCopy !req
515. and you gonna
want to...Copy !req
516. have Sister Pete send me to the State
Asylum when you hear this one.Copy !req
517. You two are exactly alike.Copy !req
518. - What?
- You are crazy.Copy !req
519. Listen to him.Copy !req
520. You're both
powerful men.Copy !req
521. Not only natural
born leaders,Copy !req
522. but each of you
has a vision of the world.Copy !req
523. And even though those visions
are in direct opposition,Copy !req
524. they do share
some things in common.Copy !req
525. Like what?Copy !req
526. You both believe
in your people,Copy !req
527. in the rights
of your peopleCopy !req
528. and the god-given gifts
owed to your people.Copy !req
529. You both believe that your
people deserve a full life,Copy !req
530. happiness,Copy !req
531. securityCopy !req
532. and—Copy !req
533. I don't know, l— l—Copy !req
534. I guess that's all
I have to say.Copy !req
535. That's good. That's—
that's enough for today.Copy !req
536. I think we should think
about what Tobias saidCopy !req
537. and, uh, come back
tomorrow.Copy !req
538. Officer.Copy !req
539. Rapists, pedophiles,
male hustlers—Copy !req
540. We got all kinds
of men in Oz.Copy !req
541. Men who've turned sex
into a crime.Copy !req
542. And for that they belong
in the deepest recesses of our hell.Copy !req
543. But as we also know,
sex is not necessarily loveCopy !req
544. and there are times
when love itselfCopy !req
545. will get you incarcerated.Copy !req
546. Like oscar wilde,Copy !req
547. who lovedCopy !req
548. and lost two years
of his lifeCopy !req
549. sitting in Reading Jail.Copy !req
550. Two lips, maybe
a little tongueCopy !req
551. pressed against
two other lips.Copy !req
552. A simple kissCopy !req
553. can be more lethal
that a gun.Copy !req
554. Addiction is satan's tool,Copy !req
555. his evil system
to keep our people down.Copy !req
556. He supplies the drugs
to our men and womenCopy !req
557. and then arrests
them for using.Copy !req
558. He locks our sons
and daughters in his prisonsCopy !req
559. and then walks away,
a smile across his white face.Copy !req
560. Mrs. Arif? I hate to—Copy !req
561. some of the other passengers
on board have asked meCopy !req
562. to ask you if you
could keep your voice down.Copy !req
563. Why? Because they don't
wanna hear the truth?Copy !req
564. The drug policy
in this countryCopy !req
565. is excessive, oppressive
and racist.Copy !req
566. - Be that as it may—
- lnstead of locking young black menCopy !req
567. behind bars we ought to implement
substance abuse treatmentCopy !req
568. which is less expensive
and more productive.Copy !req
569. - I agree, but now is not the time.
- When is the time?Copy !req
570. Did you know that the number
of inmates in american prisonsCopy !req
571. has more than tripled
in the last 20 years?Copy !req
572. - Yes.
- Did you knowCopy !req
573. that if the inmate population
continues to grow exponentiallyCopy !req
574. by the year 20533
the United StatesCopy !req
575. will have more people
in prison than out?Copy !req
576. So, I ask you, Father,Copy !req
577. how long do we wait
to change the way things are?Copy !req
578. Her baby's trying
to sleep.Copy !req
579. Your husband's
a drug addict?Copy !req
580. He was, until he found Allah.Copy !req
581. My son Augustus,
he was too.Copy !req
582. 70% of those arrested test positive
for substance abuse.Copy !req
583. - Mrs. Arif—
- Sonsyrea.Copy !req
584. Sonsyrea...Copy !req
585. Your head's all crammed
with facts and figures.Copy !req
586. But a cold hard factCopy !req
587. is never as good
as the simple truth.Copy !req
588. Your husband,Copy !req
589. did he hurt you and your children
while he was addicted?Copy !req
590. Yeah.
He became a thief.Copy !req
591. - And now?
- He struggled and he struggledCopy !req
592. and he fought
his cravings.Copy !req
593. With the help of Allah
he is clean.Copy !req
594. - And your children?
- They miss their father.Copy !req
595. - But they have allah now.
- Then, girl,Copy !req
596. that's the story
you ought to be telling.Copy !req
597. That's the stuff
people need to hear.Copy !req
598. - You're in a good mood today.
- Yeah, man, my wife's coming to see me.Copy !req
599. All right.
Is she bringing the children?Copy !req
600. No, Sonsyrea and I need
some time, just the two of us.Copy !req
601. O'Reily.
That man is an animal.Copy !req
602. He murdered Patrick Keenan
with such brutalityCopy !req
603. Every time I see him
I wonder how he lives with himself.Copy !req
604. How you doing,
Busmilla?Copy !req
605. Eat up, Arif.
Move it.Copy !req
606. Hey, take over here
for a second.Copy !req
607. Where the fuck
is you goin', man?Copy !req
608. - Hey, hey, hey.
- O'Reily, relax.Copy !req
609. I haven't seen your brother
since he checked outCopy !req
610. of protective custody.
We're just catching up.Copy !req
611. I don't want you
anywhere near him.Copy !req
612. But Ryan, I like Henry.Copy !req
613. - I told you, this guy's a scumbag.
- It takes one to know one.Copy !req
614. You on some kind of a kamikaze
mission, Stanton, huh?Copy !req
615. If I see you talking to Cyril again
you're going down in flames.Copy !req
616. Later.Copy !req
617. - What'd you say to him?
- Nothing.Copy !req
618. Nothing.Copy !req
619. - Jeez.
- Hey, you mick fucks.Copy !req
620. We're working over here.
You want to join us?Copy !req
621. You know I agonize and agonize
over telling youCopy !req
622. I saw Ryan O'Reily
murder Patrick Keenan.Copy !req
623. Finally Minister Said convinced
me to step forward and yet,Copy !req
624. O'Reily's
never been charged.Copy !req
625. That's because I haven't
been able to gatherCopy !req
626. any concrete evidence
against him.Copy !req
627. At this point, all I have
is your testimonyCopy !req
628. and you won't even
speak publicly.Copy !req
629. Or have you changed
your mind?Copy !req
630. If I do, O'Reily
will have me killed.Copy !req
631. Don't expect miracles.Copy !req
632. I've been going over and over
that moment in my mind,Copy !req
633. trying to remember every detail
and this might not be important,Copy !req
634. But I think I saw O'Reily
pull a shamrock off of Keenan's neck.Copy !req
635. - A shamrock?
- Yeah, a gold shamrock on a chain.Copy !req
636. - I see.
- Don't let this lie, warden.Copy !req
637. Justice must be done.Copy !req
638. O'Reily
must be punished.Copy !req
639. - Stay back.
- But I've got a pain.Copy !req
640. - Where?
- In my heart.Copy !req
641. I'm heartsick
'cause you keep ignoring me.Copy !req
642. I'm busy, Ryan.Copy !req
643. I just wanted to know,
did the medical board—Copy !req
644. did they rule on your
case of malpractice?Copy !req
645. Yes.Copy !req
646. They reprimanded me,
fined me,Copy !req
647. but I'm
still a doctor.Copy !req
648. Well, that's—
that's great, right?Copy !req
649. Gloria?Copy !req
650. - May I see you?
- Sure.Copy !req
651. Let's walk.Copy !req
652. Whoever killed
Patrick KeenanCopy !req
653. Took a gold chain from around
his neck, a shamrock.Copy !req
654. At one point,
when we spoke,Copy !req
655. you had a shamrock
in your hand.Copy !req
656. - It was his.
- Where did you get it?Copy !req
657. Arrived one day at my office
in an unmarked envelope.Copy !req
658. When I interviewed you
about the murderCopy !req
659. why didn't you tell me
you had evidence?Copy !req
660. Leo, I was raped.Copy !req
661. After a trauma like that,
you're not always thinking clearly.Copy !req
662. There are things I've done
since that night that make no sense.Copy !req
663. Just when I think I get
my feelings under controlCopy !req
664. the slightest thing
sets me off.Copy !req
665. I know.Copy !req
666. And I am sorry.Copy !req
667. Honestly, there's a part of me
that's happy Keenan's dead.Copy !req
668. I just want to put
his face behind me.Copy !req
669. Of course.
Um, Gloria...Copy !req
670. One last question
and I promiseCopy !req
671. I'll never bring it up again.Copy !req
672. Where's the necklace?Copy !req
673. Here.Copy !req
674. I threw the fucking
thing away.Copy !req
675. Come on, Warden,
there's got to be a ruleCopy !req
676. about the number of times you can
keep on asking me the same questions.Copy !req
677. You think I'm screwing
with your civil rights?Copy !req
678. You want to consult
an attorney?Copy !req
679. I don't need an attorney,
'cause I didn't kill Keenan.Copy !req
680. Look, man, check
the assignment records.Copy !req
681. I wasn't near
the gym all day.Copy !req
682. - My informant says different.
- Your informant's a liar.Copy !req
683. Why would he lie?Copy !req
684. Look, a lot of people
got issues with me.Copy !req
685. A lot of people
had issues with Keenan.Copy !req
686. The killer was a scrapper,
he was in fights all the time.Copy !req
687. You go through the files,
you'll find a shitload of suspects.Copy !req
688. I have.Copy !req
689. You're still the nearest
and the dearest.Copy !req
690. Take him out.Copy !req
691. Glynn wants to nail you
for Keenan's murder, huh?Copy !req
692. He's got some witness, only l
don't know who. If I could find outCopy !req
693. this fucker's name I'd persuade him
to change his testimony or—Copy !req
694. - Kill him?
- Yeah, well.Copy !req
695. In any case, I need
to confuse the situation.Copy !req
696. Yeah, but how?Copy !req
697. This clipping...Copy !req
698. it needs to find it's way
into Henry Stanton's trunkCopy !req
699. buried beneath
his underwear.Copy !req
700. Meanwhile, what are you
gonna be doing?Copy !req
701. Encouraging an entirely different
eyewitness to step forward.Copy !req
702. Go, Marty, go.Copy !req
703. - Go! Go!
- Come on!Copy !req
704. Yeah, baby.Copy !req
705. - Out!
- What the fuck are you talking about?Copy !req
706. You are out!Copy !req
707. Prisoner #99M633:Copy !req
708. Martin Montgomery;Copy !req
709. convicted March 16th, 1999;Copy !req
710. two counts of assault
in the first degree;Copy !req
711. eight years;Copy !req
712. up for parole in five.Copy !req
713. Hey, Marty my boy.Copy !req
714. - How about another piece of cake?
- Sure. Thanks.Copy !req
715. - O'Reily, right?
- That's right.Copy !req
716. How come you offering
me extra cake?Copy !req
717. I've been here almost three years,
you never even farted in my direction.Copy !req
718. Well, you're right.
We're not friends.Copy !req
719. Everybody knows we're not friends,
which is why I can offer youCopy !req
720. - an exciting moneymaking opportunity.
- Which is what?Copy !req
721. I want you to go to the warden
and tell himCopy !req
722. You saw Henry Stanton
murder Patrick Keenan.Copy !req
723. But I didn't.Copy !req
724. Marty, there's a lot more
cake where that came from.Copy !req
725. Stanton caught Keenan
with a barbellCopy !req
726. right about here.Copy !req
727. Keenan went down. Stanton ripped
the necklace from his throat.Copy !req
728. - What happened next?
- I ran.Copy !req
729. I mean, what,
stick around?Copy !req
730. All right, thanks
for coming forward.Copy !req
731. Like I said, my conscience
couldn't take the strainCopy !req
732. of keeping
what I saw inside.Copy !req
733. I'll be damned.Copy !req
734. Normally nobody rats
on anybody,Copy !req
735. now I got
two different witnessesCopy !req
736. Identifying two different
suspects for the same murder.Copy !req
737. Montgomery had a lot more
details than Arif. Specific details.Copy !req
738. Yeah, and according
to the recordsCopy !req
739. Stanton and Keenan
were constantly fighting.Copy !req
740. - But why would arif lie?
- Ask him.Copy !req
741. No, first I'm gonna have
a word with Henry Stanton.Copy !req
742. Me?
Kill Patrick Keenan?Copy !req
743. - I wish.
- At least twice in unit BCopy !req
744. Keenan kicked
the shit out of you.Copy !req
745. That ain't true.
I got my licks in.Copy !req
746. Medical report—Copy !req
747. says after the first fight
you had two broken ribs,Copy !req
748. the second one
a broken wrist.Copy !req
749. Keenan had no
injuries at all.Copy !req
750. Mine was
a moral victory.Copy !req
751. That day in the gym,
you whacked him, didn't you?Copy !req
752. No.Copy !req
753. I swear on my children, no.Copy !req
754. We found this
in your cell.Copy !req
755. I've never even
seen this before.Copy !req
756. You're obsessed
with Dr. Nathan, aren't you?Copy !req
757. No. I mean,
she's got nice tits and all,Copy !req
758. - but other than that I never even—
- Take him to the hole.Copy !req
759. - The hole? Why?
- Maybe a few days thereCopy !req
760. will jostle
your membrane.Copy !req
761. Fuck you, fuck you!Copy !req
762. Fuck you!
Fuck you, you motherfucker.Copy !req
763. Warden, how's
the investigation going?Copy !req
764. - Fine.
- When are you gonna charge O'Reily?Copy !req
765. Let me ask you something, Arif.Copy !req
766. Why are you so hell bent
on Ryan O'Reily going down?Copy !req
767. As I said,
justice must be done.Copy !req
768. - There's no other reason, no agenda?
- No.Copy !req
769. This isn't payback
for some wrong done to you?Copy !req
770. - No.
- I've been digging around.Copy !req
771. During the riots,
you and O'Reily almost came to blows.Copy !req
772. - The riot?
- That was five years ago.Copy !req
773. In my experience
cons have long memories.Copy !req
774. You think I made
the story up?Copy !req
775. You know what?
At this point, I don't know.Copy !req
776. And I'm beginning to wonder
if I even care.Copy !req
777. Ready for this?
Glynn's suspendedCopy !req
778. The investigation
in the murder of Patrick Keenan.Copy !req
779. Too many suspects,
not enough clues.Copy !req
780. - Perfect.
- Bet you could press it.Copy !req
781. Bet you could get
Stanton convicted.Copy !req
782. - Don't want to.
- Why?Copy !req
783. Look.Copy !req
784. Henry Stanton gets the death penalty
for Keenan's murder,Copy !req
785. Gloria Nathan's not gonna
let an innocent man die.Copy !req
786. She's gonna feel compelled
to tell the truth.Copy !req
787. No, I win by keeping
the ball in play,Copy !req
788. by keeping
the facts murky.Copy !req
789. Have that placed
in Marty Montgomery's cell.Copy !req
790. - Montgomery? Why montgomery?
- Life insurance.Copy !req
791. Ryan, can I tell Henry
about our secret?Copy !req
792. That we fooled
the warden?Copy !req
793. No, Cyril.
For Christ's sake,Copy !req
