1. ICHIGO PRODUCTION
SAITOUCopy !req
2. Maybe I should've hired you
as a talent scout.Copy !req
3. A popular YouTuber
as well as an influencer, Mem.Copy !req
4. I was surprised to know
you were interested in idols.Copy !req
5. You have 370,000 subscribers
on your YouTube channel.Copy !req
6. And 638,000 TikTok followers.Copy !req
7. You seem to be very popular online.Copy !req
8. First, I'd like to first ask
what agency you are with, Ms. Mem.Copy !req
9. I'm actually self-employed
as an online streamer.Copy !req
10. Currently, I'm with an agency called FARM,Copy !req
11. but I'm not registered with them,
I work as a business partner.Copy !req
12. I'm under a contract where I can freely
take on jobs myself with no problems.Copy !req
13. I see.Copy !req
14. In that case, Ichigo Production
will be offering idol work to you.Copy !req
15. We have many internet personalities too,
so there's no problems with the contract.Copy !req
16. It would be perfect for us.Copy !req
17. But your expression tells me that
there's something you need to say.Copy !req
18. Well, I've got a hunch.Copy !req
19. You're lying about your age, aren't you?Copy !req
20. Can you tell?Copy !req
21. Yes, you look very young
based on your build,Copy !req
22. but you can't fool my eyes.Copy !req
23. But you don't need to worry.Copy !req
24. It's very common for freelancing girls
to lie a few years about their age.Copy !req
25. I don't really mind.Copy !req
26. Are you sure?Copy !req
27. I'm so glad.Copy !req
28. So, how old are you really?Copy !req
29. Um… well…Copy !req
30. I'm actually…Copy !req
31. Mm-hm.Copy !req
32. You really stretched it!Copy !req
33. I apologize!Copy !req
34. If you're officially 18 years old,
you got some major guts.Copy !req
35. Please don't count!Copy !req
36. How many years did you subtract?
Like three?Copy !req
37. Double that.Copy !req
38. You sure stretched it!Copy !req
39. Wait, so you're 24?Copy !req
40. I was 24 until spring.Copy !req
41. Which means you're 25. Don't try
to struggle your way out at this point.Copy !req
42. So you were on the show as a teenager
at 25? You got monstrous mental strength.Copy !req
43. There's a reason to this!Copy !req
44. My dream was to become an idol
since I was little.Copy !req
45. But I was raised by a single mom
and I also have two little brothers.Copy !req
46. So I felt that I should find
a job right away.Copy !req
47. But Mama told me…Copy !req
48. Don't worry, just chase your dreams!Copy !req
49. Mama will be with you to help!Copy !req
50. After that, I started applying
to auditions.Copy !req
51. I even made it
to a major agency's last screening.Copy !req
52. But during my 3rd year in high school…Copy !req
53. Mama worked too hard and was hospitalized.Copy !req
54. I needed money,Copy !req
55. so I took a break from high school
and worked at all kinds of jobs.Copy !req
56. Thanks to that, I was able
to send my brothers to college,Copy !req
57. and my mom got better too.Copy !req
58. But by that time, I was already 23.Copy !req
59. You know how you're treated
as a granny at 20 in this world?Copy !req
60. Every audition application said,
"Any female up to 20 years of age."Copy !req
61. By the time I was in a state
to chase my dreams,Copy !req
62. I wasn't at an age to chase them anymore.Copy !req
63. I began streaming after losing my way
of becoming an idol.Copy !req
64. And I was still on break
from high school at the time,Copy !req
65. so I joked that
I was a current high school girl.Copy !req
66. But then I got surprisingly popular.Copy !req
67. And I gained subscribers like crazy.Copy !req
68. Then I couldn't back out anymore!Copy !req
69. I continued like that for two years
and here I am today.Copy !req
70. I know, this isn't okay.Copy !req
71. I lied about seven years, and it would be
a major problem if it got out.Copy !req
72. A 25-year-old as an idol could never…Copy !req
73. That's not true.Copy !req
74. Mem-cho!Copy !req
75. The real thing! So cute!Copy !req
76. I heard the whole story.Copy !req
77. Arima.Copy !req
78. I'm also someone
who was scorned for their age,Copy !req
79. so I can relate a little.Copy !req
80. It doesn't seem like a little.Copy !req
81. Once I got older in elementary school,
my child acting agency kicked me out.Copy !req
82. It really pisses me off!Copy !req
83. What?Copy !req
84. Mrs. Miyako!Copy !req
85. That's why I never said no.Copy !req
86. And you, Ruby?Copy !req
87. Of course!Copy !req
88. Age doesn't matter in becoming an idol!Copy !req
89. Because you can't stop anyone
from dreaming!Copy !req
90. Welcome to B Komachi!Copy !req
91. Yeah… Thank you.Copy !req
92. There goes my sister
with her sugarcoating again.Copy !req
93. Arima, take care of Ruby and Mem for me.Copy !req
94. Shut up, don't talk to me so casually.Copy !req
95. Go take care of Akane Kurokawa.Copy !req
96. You womanizing steward!Copy !req
97. I'm gonna keep this group together
even without you telling me.Copy !req
98. Hey, let's go out to eat right now.Copy !req
99. Let's go!Copy !req
100. What's with these girls?
They're so warmhearted!Copy !req
101. And like that, Mem-cho joined our group.Copy !req
102. And the newly formed B Komachi
made its official start.Copy !req
103. Aww, Love For Real ended.Copy !req
104. Hey, how did you feel
seeing your brother kissing on the show?Copy !req
105. How did I feel?Copy !req
106. Can there be anything other
than super mixed feelings?Copy !req
107. I thought so.Copy !req
108. It was five times as awkward as watching
a brother and sister kissing on TV.Copy !req
109. Eek…Copy !req
110. Ruby, you'll probably meet
Akane one day too.Copy !req
111. Since she is your brother's girlfriend.Copy !req
112. Girlfriend…Copy !req
113. But Aqua's feelings
toward Akane is probably…Copy !req
114. Is this about Love For Real?Copy !req
115. Oh, yeah.Copy !req
116. You knew about it, Ms. Shiranui?Copy !req
117. Well, someone I know is on it after all.
It was interesting.Copy !req
118. You don't need to be so considerate.Copy !req
119. There were nothing but pretty boys
and cute girls in it.Copy !req
120. It was great eye candy.Copy !req
121. Eye candy?Copy !req
122. I didn't think a top star would say
something like that too.Copy !req
123. Who doesn't like pretty faces?Copy !req
124. It pleased my eyes so much,
I think my eyesight got better by 0.5.Copy !req
125. She says some funny stuff!Copy !req
126. Personally, I liked Mem-cho's maiden face.Copy !req
127. If I were one of the boys,
I would've totally made her mine.Copy !req
128. I wish they would have put more spirit
into seducing her.Copy !req
129. Ms. Shiranui is very cool on TV,Copy !req
130. but I didn't know
she was like this in private.Copy !req
131. But I hear this is common actually.Copy !req
132. Men tend to feel rivalry toward
funny women before romantic feelings,Copy !req
133. making it difficult for them
to become popular.Copy !req
134. So they're not allowed to joke
while they have on an innocent image.Copy !req
135. What an ugly fact.Copy !req
136. Maybe it's because I'm watching it
from the cast's acquaintance view,Copy !req
137. but it made my heart race.Copy !req
138. I'm sure everyone else feels the same too.Copy !req
139. I hear Aqua is super popular
with the girls in the General Department.Copy !req
140. Some girls in our department
are interested in him too.Copy !req
141. But he supposedly has a girlfriend,Copy !req
142. so I'm sure everyone
will just watch over for now.Copy !req
143. In fact, Love For Real's following
is very high,Copy !req
144. and it must've been a major influence
for my brother's future.Copy !req
145. But it also made a significant impact
on B Komachi.Copy !req
146. With Mem-cho joining,Copy !req
147. we're now able to create
more professional videos for our channel.Copy !req
148. Wow! We reached 10,000 subscribers!Copy !req
149. Well, I created the user flow
from my channel too,Copy !req
150. so this much should be expected.Copy !req
151. It feels… really official!Copy !req
152. If it isn't official,
what else would it be?Copy !req
153. We only have
self-introduction videos uploaded,Copy !req
154. so I'd like to put up our music videos
as soon as we can.Copy !req
155. But how is our music-related stuff
going right now?Copy !req
156. Looks like the CEO's asking
an artist she knows to write it.Copy !req
157. We can't do anything
until the music's ready.Copy !req
158. It's still a long way ahead,
so let's just sit back and wait.Copy !req
159. Well, we can't do that.Copy !req
160. Did you forget that we're B Komachi?Copy !req
161. B Komachi has B Komachi songs, right?Copy !req
162. Oh yeah! There's no problems
if we use the old songs!Copy !req
163. Right!Copy !req
164. Mem-cho, you're a genius!Copy !req
165. Tsk. So they noticed.Copy !req
166. There's a lot we can do right now!Copy !req
167. If we waste too much time,
I'll hit my thirties!Copy !req
168. So self-deprecating…Copy !req
169. The first and foremost duty as an idol!Copy !req
170. The idol's most splendorous
and toughest part…Copy !req
171. We're gonna learn the dance choreography!Copy !req
172. LET'S B KOMACHI
DANCE LESSON!Copy !req
173. There's 30 songs with choreography
that have footage left.Copy !req
174. Don't tell me they want
to learn all of it.Copy !req
175. I can't keep up
with these two idol otakus' motivation.Copy !req
176. Why did I say that I'll become an idol?Copy !req
177. Good work.Copy !req
178. Thank…Copy !req
179. I don't need it! Go away!Copy !req
180. You've been acting like this
toward me for a while now.Copy !req
181. I know that you mouth off
and have a bad attitude, but…Copy !req
182. at this rate, I'll get hurt too.Copy !req
183. What's with that? Huh?Copy !req
184. You were the one who…Copy !req
185. You're the one…Copy !req
186. Aqua!Copy !req
187. Me telling you this story now is
like digging up someone's grave.Copy !req
188. Why do you want to know about Ai so much?Copy !req
189. I'm a fan of hers.Copy !req
190. A hopeless one.Copy !req
191. Do you need a reason beyond that?Copy !req
192. The illusion seen by fans shatter
once they know the reality.Copy !req
193. There is no exception to this.Copy !req
194. Showbiz is pretty much a bluffing contest.Copy !req
195. An alluring subject tells an alluring lieCopy !req
196. in order to stage a charismatic figure
that doesn't really exist in real life.Copy !req
197. What most people do in job hunting
to get into good companiesCopy !req
198. is what we do for business.Copy !req
199. Even so, I'd still like to know.Copy !req
200. If you say you're a fan,
it's best not to know.Copy !req
201. But no one ever listens.Copy !req
202. I connected with Ai and introduced her
some jobs like I told you before.Copy !req
203. Back then, Ai was just a country girl
who just moved here from the sticks.Copy !req
204. Her level of professionalism was low,
she'd never try to fit in,Copy !req
205. and she'd come to work wearing
cheap clothes that never suited her.Copy !req
206. She was just a child.Copy !req
207. So, I thought it might help her somehow,Copy !req
208. so I introduced her
to this one theater's workshop.Copy !req
209. A workshop?Copy !req
210. It's one that I used to be a part of
during college.Copy !req
211. It's called Theater Lalalai.Copy !req
212. The theater group that Akane belongs to.Copy !req
213. It wasn't that famous at the time though.Copy !req
214. They say love changes people.Copy !req
215. That's probably the place…Copy !req
216. where Ai fell in love.Copy !req
217. Ever since Ai joined that workshop,
she started to care about her appearance.Copy !req
218. And she would ask me
where the good restaurants were.Copy !req
219. Of course I couldn't tell
who her dates were,Copy !req
220. but I remember she suddenly
looked all grown-up.Copy !req
221. If you're curious, I'll introduce you
to Lalalai's superintendent.Copy !req
222. You'll surely get closer to the answer
you're looking for there.Copy !req
223. Why would you go that far for me?Copy !req
224. I'm just a failed actor
with no achievements whatsoever.Copy !req
225. Because I see potential in you.Copy !req
226. This industry is all about give-and-take.Copy !req
227. As you already know, in Japanese showbiz,Copy !req
228. the give-and-take between the agencies and
production companies affect the casting.Copy !req
229. And depending on the cast, the profit
changes by the hundred millions.Copy !req
230. This 40,000-yen sushi
will feel like nothingCopy !req
231. compared to how much money
will be exchanged.Copy !req
232. By you owing me a favor now,Copy !req
233. once you become a star
and you hit your prime,Copy !req
234. I can have a big advantage
in the casting battles to come.Copy !req
235. This is what a producer does.Copy !req
236. Of course, I don't do this just to you.Copy !req
237. I see potential in Kana Arima
and Mem-cho too.Copy !req
238. Looks like you kids have
started something interesting.Copy !req
239. I hear you guys revived
that B Komachi group.Copy !req
240. I feel that all of you are quite
the promising investment.Copy !req
241. You don't mean…Copy !req
242. Japan Idol Festival?Copy !req
243. Yeah, the producer from Love For Real
says he has connections.Copy !req
244. So if we're interested,
he said he'll squeeze us in.Copy !req
245. But JIF's next month, right?Copy !req
246. No way! We're not prepared at all.Copy !req
247. If some newbies like us
suddenly went on a big stage like that…Copy !req
248. Let's do it!Copy !req
249. It's JIF, the JIF!Copy !req
250. Wouldn't it be cool if the new B Komachi's
first concert is at a big stage like that?Copy !req
251. But we'll definitely create
a bad impression to those around us.Copy !req
252. I'm sure they'll say
connection this and connection that.Copy !req
253. Don't worry!Copy !req
254. We're the successors
of the legendary group, B Komachi!Copy !req
255. You're the one
who started saying that on your own.Copy !req
256. But in reality, there's no way
we let this chance go.Copy !req
257. A normal group spends long hard years
to finally get to this stage.Copy !req
258. So if we don't do this now,
what are we working towards?Copy !req
259. Well, that's true.Copy !req
260. If we're gonna do it, let's do it.Copy !req
261. This is work after all.Copy !req
262. Okay, it's decided!Copy !req
263. Then it's time!Copy !req
264. We gotta decide now.Copy !req
265. What?Copy !req
266. Who to have as B Komachi's center role.Copy !req
267. Is it that important?Copy !req
268. Who cares who the center is?Copy !req
269. It is important!Copy !req
270. The center is the idol group's star!Copy !req
271. The cute one who can sing and dance,
they're the face of the group!Copy !req
272. It's the most important position!Copy !req
273. Right?Copy !req
274. You two really get along.Copy !req
275. So, does anyone want to do it?Copy !req
276. I-I'm not saying that I wanna do it,
but if everyone insists…Copy !req
277. This probably has
to be the oldest and wisest.Copy !req
278. I don't wanna do it, but my experience
should help bring the group together.Copy !req
279. You both look like you really wanna do it.Copy !req
280. I mean, shouldn't it be me
who's good at dancing?Copy !req
281. Well, no, it should be me who's used to
the media and well-experienced!Copy !req
282. If you put it that way,
that would make it Senpai.Copy !req
283. Since her "Green Pepper Exercise"
took 1st place on the chartsCopy !req
284. and she was all over music shows.Copy !req
285. Wow, what a throwback!Copy !req
286. Don't bring up my embarrassing past!Copy !req
287. Let's start the "Green Pepper Exercise"!Copy !req
288. Eat green peppers and become SupermanCopy !req
289. Everybody dance and become Peter PanCopy !req
290. You know how she sang a little off-key…Copy !req
291. Right? That was so childlike and cute!Copy !req
292. They made me dance to it in kindergarten.Copy !req
293. Hey, try singing it!Copy !req
294. No way!Copy !req
295. I know that I suck at singing!Copy !req
296. I mean, don't you have to be able
to sing as the center?Copy !req
297. That's true, it doesn't look good
if the center doesn't hold a mic.Copy !req
298. How despicable.Copy !req
299. How about whoever gets
a higher score in karaoke gets it?Copy !req
300. All right!Copy !req
301. Senpai, you too, right?Copy !req
302. I'll pass.Copy !req
303. What? But…Copy !req
304. Stupid, the center is
the group's face, right?Copy !req
305. If you put me as the center,
this group won't get any popular.Copy !req
306. That's not true.Copy !req
307. There's enough evidence to prove it.Copy !req
308. Even after my one-hit wonder
child star years were over,Copy !req
309. you think that I'd only be acting while
I clung to this industry for years?Copy !req
310. I tried a variety of fields,
but never got popular.Copy !req
311. I put the agency that gave me work
for my child star fame in the red,Copy !req
312. but I made sure to take my pay,
so I could feed myself.Copy !req
313. To sum it up,
there are no fans following Kana Arima!Copy !req
314. I totally agree! Who'd wanna put money
into a foul-mouthed, jaded woman like me?Copy !req
315. Oh, that's right, I'll Go with Sweet Today
was in the red too, huh?Copy !req
316. Mem-cho, you have a ton of subscribers.Copy !req
317. Ruby, you at least got a great face, and
your innocence will probably win fans.Copy !req
318. Besides…Copy !req
319. the ones who are likable
are honest cute girls like you two.Copy !req
320. Not a difficult and bitter woman like me.Copy !req
321. You can just think of me as decoration.Copy !req
322. Karaoke or whatever,
just choose the center between you two.Copy !req
323. Senpai, you're really sulky lately.Copy !req
324. Did something bad happen?Copy !req
325. Not really.Copy !req
326. Don't worry!Copy !req
327. Even my brother who never compliments
people said that you're cute.Copy !req
328. You're not difficult or bitter at all.Copy !req
329. But he said that to Mem-cho
in Love For Real too.Copy !req
330. What a difficult and bitter woman…Copy !req
331. You always have to argue.Copy !req
332. It must be tough
for whoever dates someone like this.Copy !req
333. Well, most celebrities
are difficult people.Copy !req
334. Wait, Aqua's the one
who invited these two to join.Copy !req
335. I don't like how I can gradually see
what kind of women my brother likes.Copy !req
336. Come join us later.Copy !req
337. Okay.Copy !req
338. KARAOKECopy !req
339. 57 POINTS
LET'S WORK A LITTLE HARDER!Copy !req
340. 43 POINTS
OH… OKAY. TRY HARDER?Copy !req
341. I'm surprised you took up this challenge
with a score like that!Copy !req
342. Y-You too, you're in the quirky category!Copy !req
343. Idols are all about uniqueness!Copy !req
344. Even being quirky has value!Copy !req
345. But if you suck, you can't help that!Copy !req
346. The joy of watching a poor singer
get gradually better live!Copy !req
347. I'm thinking of providing this
to the fans! There's a story there!Copy !req
348. I should've practiced singing
more seriously.Copy !req
349. We both need training!Copy !req
350. Please don't put me
on the same level as you.Copy !req
351. Why don't we take a quick break?Copy !req
352. Right. Let's sing a light song
as a breather.Copy !req
353. Why don't we sing
Senpai's "Green Pepper Exercise"?Copy !req
354. Ruby, you got a pretty evil personality.
I honestly like it.Copy !req
355. - Oh.
- Hm?Copy !req
356. Arima released a lot of songs after
"Green Pepper Exercise."Copy !req
357. I never knew.Copy !req
358. Wanna listen to it?Copy !req
359. Yeah.Copy !req
360. KANA ARIMACopy !req
361. Seriously, what a difficult person.Copy !req
362. And she says she sucks?Copy !req
363. 97 POINTSCopy !req
364. Isn't she too hard on herself?Copy !req
365. 97 POINTS
AMAZING!Copy !req
