149. Now, that's a chemical,
all right?Copy !req
150. And that's in
the cigarettes, right?Copy !req
151. So when you smoke it, you get
used to getting that nicotine.Copy !req
152. So when you stop,
the receptors in your brainCopy !req
153. don't get the nicotine anymore,
and they start screaming out,Copy !req
154. and it makes you go crazy.Copy !req
155. Well, will you stop for me?Copy !req

202. I don't know. What?Copy !req
203. A stick.Copy !req
204. Oh.
(chuckles)Copy !req
205. Oh. Very good.Copy !req

We all know how to play, Dad.Copy !req
303. Everybody takes a number.
Come on, Troy.Copy !req

352. Dino mold. You'll love that.
Take these.Copy !req
353. - Well, Dad, those-those do look good.
- (chatter continuing)Copy !req
354. He's going for the headphones.
You want... Take these.Copy !req
355. But I think I like
what's in the box.Copy !req
356. - Oh, you're not.
Trent.Copy !req
357. Trent.
- Come on.Copy !req
358. Oh, my God.Copy !req
359. What is wrong with him?Copy !req
360. - She's just a little kid.

- (indistinct chatter)Copy !req
369. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! Grab a bag,Copy !req
370. - and we'll put it all in here.

that unicorn candle?Copy !req
379. - Yeah, it's pretty cool, isn't it?
- Yeah. Yeah.Copy !req
380. Is there any chance
you can give it back?Copy !req
381. Why?Copy !req
382. Well, me daughter, she's...Copy !req
383. kind of obsessed with unicorns
at the moment.Copy !req
384. - Yeah.
- And, uh, you know,Copy !req
385. I was hoping maybe, you know,

392. And if you can do it...Copy !req
393. I'll show a bit of gratitudeCopy !req
394. and throw you some cash.Copy !req

411. Hey, Dad?Copy !req
412. What happened
with Ally's brother?Copy !req
413. I think he tripped over or...Copy !req
414. he had a bit much to drink.Copy !req
415. So he was drunk?Copy !req
416. Yeah, I think so.Copy !req
417. How come you took
the candle off him?Copy !req
418. Oh, he didn't
really want it, so...Copy !req
419. Should I give him
my present, then?Copy !req
420. No, you keep it.Copy !req
421. All right, love.
Kiss, kiss.Copy !req
422. Mwah.Copy !req
423. All right.Copy !req
424. - See you.
- Bye.Copy !req
425. Hey.
- Hi.Copy !req
426. - How was it?
- Good.Copy !req
427. - You have fun?
- Yeah.Copy !req
428. - (deep breath)
- I'm sorry.Copy !req
429. (chuckles):
Yeah.Copy !req
430. I'm not making excuses, but...Copy !req
431. Britt caught me smoking
this morning,Copy !req
432. and, um, she made me promiseCopy !req
433. to give up, and I
hadn't smoked all day, and...Copy !req
434. You know?Copy !req
435. Fair enough.Copy !req
436. You okay?Copy !req
437. No.Copy !req
438. Yeah.Copy !req
439. Fair enough.Copy !req
440. What about your bro?
How's...Copy !req
441. Is he all right?Copy !req
442. How do you think?Copy !req
443. Mm.Copy !req
444. So, you know that guy
that I was engaged to, yeah?Copy !req
445. I ended that.Copy !req
446. We were together for...Copy !req
447. uh, three years.Copy !req
448. He had demons, like you.Copy !req
449. He used to lash out
and smash thingsCopy !req
450. and punch walls.Copy !req
451. And then one day
he started on me.Copy !req
452. Then he apologized
and told me that he loved me,Copy !req
453. and... I forgave him.Copy !req
454. And then a few weeks later,
he, um...Copy !req
455. slapped me.Copy !req
456. After that, he kicked me,
punched me...Copy !req
457. And every time, you know,
he'd say, uh...Copy !req
458. "I'm sorry."Copy !req
459. And told me that he loved me.Copy !req
460. "I'm sorry."Copy !req
461. And he's-he's not a bad person.
I used to tell myself thatCopy !req
462. all the time.Copy !req
463. He's just...
He's damaged, and...Copy !req
464. I thought that I could save him.Copy !req
465. (short chuckle)
And I tried, I really...Copy !req
466. I really tried.Copy !req
467. - But I couldn't.
- Mm.Copy !req
468. There's a darkness in you.Copy !req
469. And I think
that's one of the thingsCopy !req
470. that attracted me to you
in the first place.Copy !req
471. But now I think...Copy !req
472. I don't know, I think that...Copy !req
473. the very thing
I loved about you—Copy !req
474. now it scares me.Copy !req
475. I'll never hit you.Copy !req
476. That's what he used to say.Copy !req
477. - And I can't take that chance.
- Mm.Copy !req
478. I can't.
I'm sorry.Copy !req
479. So that's it?Copy !req
480. Yeah.Copy !req
481. I'm sorry.Copy !req
482. So am I.Copy !req
483. I love you.Copy !req
484. I do.
Know that.Copy !req
485. And walking away
from someone that you loveCopy !req
486. is one of the hardest fucking
things in the world to do.Copy !req
487. Yeah.Copy !req
488. Well...Copy !req
489. Yeah.
All right.Copy !req
490. Look after yourself.Copy !req
491. You too.Copy !req
