348. They search the house.

349. They find the woman's head in a burlap sack,

350. and there's just body parts everywhere.

351. Bowls made out of people's skulls.

352. He had skulls on his bedposts.

353. He upholstered his chairs

354. with human skin.

355. And, uh, just like you,

356. Jeff, you know, you said you, um...

357. tried to dig up a body once.

358. Yeah, just once.

359. Yeah, well, turns out this guy,

360. he did it like 30, 40 times, digging up bodies.

362. They looked in the coffins. They were empty.

363. And... And he went into a kind of a daze when he did these things,

364. and then he would kinda wake up and...

365. and he couldn't remember what happened.

366. Did he have sex with the bodies he dug up?

368. The point is he killed a lot of people too, okay?

369. And there's no denying that.

370. But, um, he entered a plea of not guilty

371. by reason of insanity, and didn't spend the rest of his life in prison.

373. getting the psychiatric help that he needed.
