While tree-sitting for Mr. McFeely, Rogers draws a picture of a tiny oak tree. McFeely compliments the drawing, and later, he shows a video on how adult tricycles are made. Cousin Mary returns to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to show her videotape of various trees.

320. they start with the frame.

321. The frame?

322. This man uses this machine

323. to bend the metal tubes into correct shapes for the frame.

325. That's fun to watch.

326. Look at that.

327. They're the frames.

328. After that, this woman welds the different metal pieces

329. together.

330. And she makes sure the parts are in place and secure.

331. And now she's ready to weld.

332. Would you tell us about welding?

333. Well, welding

334. is when you make two parts of something so hot,

335. they melt together.

336. See how she does it?

337. Mm-hm.

338. It must be extremely hot.

339. Oh, it is.

340. That's why she wears that special helmet and gloves.

341. So when it cools,

342. it must become very strong.

343. Oh, yes it does.

344. And after the frame parts are welded,

345. they need to be painted.

346. And that's this woman does in this big paint booth.

361. attaches the front fork to the frame.

364. That's where the front wheel will go.

374. That's where the pedals will go a little later.

388. to finish putting the tricycle together.

389. And that's the rear part of the frame.

390. There goes the first wheel.

392. Now they put the back wheel on.

393. Make sure that one's secure.

396. The other wheel's on the back, so now comes the third wheel.

397. MR. On the front.

398. See, he's tightening the bolts to make

399. sure it's on nice and safe.

400. My, those tricycles

401. have a lot of parts, don't they?

402. MR. They certainly do.

403. Now, on go the pedals.

404. More tightening.

405. Spin it around.

406. Looks like it's almost finished.

407. But obviously it needs the seat and the handlebars.

409. Well, there's the seat, and there are the handlebars.

410. Now he's attaching the hand brake cable.

411. Oh, so you

412. can stop it by squeezing the hand brake?

414. He'll do it.

415. That's how you stop it, by squeezing.

417. MR. That's the last thing they did,

418. and that's how people assemble adult tricycles.
