113. under the name Kyoichiro Osanai.

114. I see.

115. I haven't revealed my identity at all, so no one knows it's me.

116. Did you tell Hikaru about it?

117. Of course not.

118. She'd be so disappointed if she learned Osanai is a dull middle-aged man.

119. So don't tell her, okay?

120. All right.

121. Good evening.

122. - Hikaru! - Mr. Yada.

123. Welcome.

124. This is Mr. Kikuchi, a designer I'm working with.

125. - Beer? - Sure.

127. Excuse me. Could you put in a few shiso leaves?

128. - That's possible. - Please.

129. Sure.

130. Mr. Kikuchi, how did you know?

131. My lucky color this month is green!

132. Is that so? It just came to me.

133. Amazing!

134. Mr. Yada.

135. I read that love is in the air for Aquarians.

136. It came true!

137. Right?

138. Two weeks passed.

139. You're an Aquarius, right? Look.

148. He...

149. had a wife and a child.

151. It's true!

152. Of course it is. Because Mr. Yada...

153. Here you go.

154. That Kikuchi fella was no good.

155. Not only was he married with a child, he had women other than Hikaru!

156. I see.

157. You got all of that from reading the stars?

158. Of course not.

159. After I met him that day, I followed him home.

160. Because I didn't like the look of him.

161. Mr. Yada, you can read auras, too?

162. You could say that.

163. Since I'm a writer, I looked into him enough to write a book.

164. I questioned him after reading the horoscope.

165. He said, "I didn't deceive you. I just didn't tell you the truth."

166. What a jerk. That's terrible.

167. But wasn't it better you found it out before things went even further?

168. Yeah.

169. This Kyoichiro Osanai is too incredible, by the way.

170. I don't think I can believe in anything anymore.

171. I might not be able to live without the horoscope.

172. Even after that, Mr. Yada kept on using his horoscope

173. to send messages to Hikaru without revealing his true identity.

174. People finish their day and hurry home.

175. But sometimes they don't want to go straight back home,

176. so they drop in somewhere on the way home.

177. POLICE STATION

178. "As an Aquarius,

179. you are very thoughtful and you think about things logically.

180. But to those around you, this can come off as indecisiveness."

181. I guess it kind of fits me.

182. That's right. You can come off as thoughtless sometimes.

183. - Really? - Absolutely.

184. Next is love.

185. "You might realize that there is someone close by who loves you."

186. What's your sign, Ms. Izumi?

187. - I'm a Virgo. - No way. You must be a Cancer.

188. Why?

189. Because you're always so crabby.

190. You're a Libra, right?

191. Why?

192. - Because you always sway. - Sway...

193. - Hi. - Mr. Momi!

194. - Good evening. - Good evening.

195. - Would you like some tea? - No, thanks.

196. We got a tip, so I went to check it out.

197. - Horoscope? - No, that's...

198. The space is endlessly wide, right?

199. So why are there only 12 zodiacs?

200. That's a good question.

201. Amazing! Great things are waiting for you!

202. Excuse me.

203. Can you look at mine?

204. Everyone's doing it.

205. Do fortune-tellers take responsibility if they get things wrong?

206. - I— - What do you think?

207. - I wonder... - Let's see.

208. DINER

209. Are you three dressed like a traffic light?

210. How rude! These are our lucky love colors.

211. Right?

212. It's the real deal if a man will approach you.

213. By the way, I haven't seen Hikaru these days.

214. She hasn't been here for a while, either.

215. It seems she stopped working as a hostess.

216. Have you heard anything about her, Mr. Yada?

217. No.

218. I wonder if she's still heartbroken over the man.

219. She took it really hard.

220. Yeah, she told us she couldn't live without the horoscope.

221. She must have lost faith in herself.

222. They say, "Happiness only comes to those who are ready to accept it."

223. Maybe...

224. It's no good if your fortune-teller is too accurate.

225. Fortune-telling is hit or miss.

226. When it comes to fortune-telling,

227. it's best to take it with a grain of salt, right?

228. Thank you.

229. - Where are you going? - What?

230. What should I do?

231. About what?

232. Hikaru.

233. Did I do something wrong?

234. Mr. Yada...

235. You often order chicken cheese katsu, right?

236. Yeah.

237. - Why? - "Why"?

238. Because I like it.

239. You eat it because you like it. That's how things work, right?

240. Why don't you try to be honest about your feelings just once?

241. Illogically.

242. Two more weeks passed after that.

243. "To the Aquarians.

244. An important person of the opposite sex will appear before you

245. wearing a striped shirt.

246. This person may be your one true love."

247. The striped shirt...

248. Will it be blue stripes on white? Or red stripes? What about the width?

249. Hikaru! Long time no see!

250. - Good evening. - Welcome.

251. Sorry I asked you out so suddenly.

252. No, it's fine.

253. Chicken cheese katsu for me, too, please.

254. Sure.

255. - What is it you wanted to talk about? - Well...

256. Have a drink, first.

257. Who's this Kyoichiro Osanai, by the way?

258. Is it only me thinking

259. he's been especially focusing on Aquarius recently?

260. - That's true. - But not one thing has come true for me.

261. But it's been accurate for you, Hikaru?

262. I'm okay. It's not the horoscope's fault.

263. Sorry.

264. I'm okay, really.

265. Don't worry about me.

266. Hikaru...

267. you're perfect as you are.

268. Aquarians tend to be too logical, so you've got to be careful about it,

269. but if you live, being honest with your feelings,

270. you'll surely meet someone who loves you with all his heart.

271. No...

272. It could be that you've met one already, but you just don't know it.

273. Mr. Yada...

274. Stripes!

275. So, Hikaru, I...

276. If you like, I want you to—

277. Welcome.

278. Stripes!

279. Let's see... I'll have the pork soup set.

280. Also, a beer.

281. Sure.

282. Hikaru?

283. Hikaru!

284. Did you read the horoscope, perhaps?

285. What?

286. Why are you wearing stripes?

287. My laundry hasn't dried yet, and this is all I've got.

288. It's fate!

289. Kyoichiro Osanai's predictions are really something else!

290. Mr. Yada!

291. You shouldn't rely on horoscopes.

292. My lucky item has never done me any good, not even once.

293. Let's get another drink.

294. Wrap the cheese in the chicken breast,

295. and cover it well with batter and bread crumbs.

296. Be careful the cheese doesn't melt and leak out while frying.

297. Try adding plums, cod roe, or nori if you like.

298. - Here you go. - Thanks.

299. Hikaru.

300. The truth is, I'm the one who writes the horoscope.

301. I don't like liars.

302. Good night.

303. THIS STORY IS A WORK OF FICTION
