1. In the center of the universe,

2. on the planet of Eternia,

3. rules Castle Grayskull,

4. ancient fortress of mystery.

5. Its power sought by the dark forces of Snake Mountain,

6. sanctuary of sin and sorrow.

7. Ruled by the demon Skeletor and his evil acolytes,

8. and the only thing that stands in their way

9. is Prince Adam, who defends the secrets of Castle Grayskull

10. as He-Man!

11. The most powerful man in the universe!

12. Only four others share this secret.

13. Guardians of Grayskull all,

14. amidst an army of the honorable,

15. committed to guarding Castle Grayskull

16. from the havoc of destruction.

17. For those who control Grayskull

18. control the power,

19. the power to be

20. Masters of the Universe!

21. Oh, there, there, little Teela.

22. This is a blessing.

23. One that will manifest when she needs it most.

24. I'll never leave our baby's side.

25. I know you won't.

26. But train her to protect herself.

27. One day, she will protect you

28. and all of Eternia.

29. My little bird...

30. your mother,

31. she loves you so much.

32. But she's going away for a while.

33. She's going to see the entire universe.

34. And it will all seem so small now

35. because it will never make her feel

36. like you did the day you were born.

37. Mama, mama!

38. My Duncan.

39. It's OK. It's OK.

40. Attend the tale of Sorceress,

41. seen here in her darkest hour.

42. "Find the sword," the old crone cried.

43. "It's the source of my magical power."

44. She summoned three to Grayskull,

45. a witch, a warrior, and ward.

46. With all hope lost,

47. the champion dead, she begged them,

48. "Find the sword!"

49. Prince Adam!

50. Alliances struck, a fellowship formed,

51. that stormed hell, breached heaven and more!

52. But only now do they understand

53. it was all for Skeletor!

54. It tastes like copper.

55. What tastes like copper, my lord?

56. Time, I think.

57. Or perhaps it's just the stars.

58. Or after all these years of appetition,

59. maybe I'm just savoring the taste

60. of transcendent triumph!

61. I saw eons pass in the darkening corners of space.

62. I'd witness planets made purely of ice

63. and ancient suns burning out and dying,

64. taking entire civilizations with them into eternal darkness.

65. The air filled with anguish and madness.

66. You would have loved it, Lyn-y.

67. Ah, sweet Sorceress.

68. You've awakened!

69. Or more like a-weakened.

70. When the magic returned,

71. instead of nourishing yourself back to full strength,

72. you let all of Eternia drink it in first!

73. How noble!

74. And witless!

75. If you hadn't so selfishly tried to help others,

76. you might have seen me coming!

77. But alas,

78. after all these years,

79. I finally know the real secret of Grayskull.

80. We want to believe in an ordered universe.

81. Some grand architecture holding it all together.

82. But there is only power.

83. Beautiful, chaotic, naked power!

84. And every so often, for the most unfathomable reasons,

85. that power fixes itself to one being.

86. One in all creation!

87. And now...

88. I have the power!

89. Soon, all of Eternia will remember this historic moment

90. when Skeletor finally kills He-Man!

91. I'm not He-Man!

92. What did you say?

93. I am Adam!

94. Prince of Eternia!

95. And defender—

96. Ugh!

97. And defender of the secrets of Castle Grayskull!

98. Hmm.

99. Ha!

100. And this is my fearless friend.

101. Cringer.

102. No!

103. Run, Teela!

104. - I'll hold him. - Dad, you can't!

105. Go!

106. Aah!

107. Going somewhere?

108. Your little playtime is over!

109. There's nowhere left to run.

110. Nowhere left to hide.

111. The power of Grayskull has abandoned you!

112. Aah!

113. Ah!

114. What?

115. Silly Sorceress!

116. You don't have enough magic left to engage a god!

117. I may not be at full strength,

118. but you're only playing at being a god, Skeletor.

119. You forget what you truly are.

120. And what is that?

121. You're nothing but bones.

122. Ugh!

123. Ugh!

124. Zoarvazeka!

125. Shukmota, zoarvazeka!

126. No!

127. Zoarvaseka!

128. Not so fast, Man-At-Arms.

129. Shukmota, zoarvaseka!

130. Ah!

131. No!

132. Tiresome woman!

133. You've been the Sorceress for so long now.

134. Time for some new blood!

135. Ha!

136. No!

137. Why? Why did you do that?

138. Why, my love?

139. My Duncan.

140. Teela! Teela! Teela!

141. You gotta help him!

142. Oh, my God!

143. Prince Adam!

144. Wait, we have to stop the bleeding.

145. Zoar, help me.

146. I love you, little bird.

147. No, my love!

148. Don't leave me!

149. Eugh!

150. Grief, it's so grotesque.

151. Lock him up in the dungeons!

152. Let him marinate in his tears

153. until I amputate his man-at-arms!

154. This abattoir of a universe is teeming with the dead

155. because men and women are born solely to die.

156. Gods, however,

157. we live forever!

158. This cryptic castle requires a mistress of magic.

159. So you are the new Sorceress of Grayskull!

160. You see what I could accomplish

161. the moment I wasn't surrounded by the buffoonery of obnoxious idiots!

162. The best thing that ever happened to me in my entire life was getting killed.

163. And yet you survived.

164. Before I was atomized by the orb,

165. I quickly cast my soul inside your wand staff for safekeeping.

166. There, I fed off you like a tick.

167. Slowly regrowing my body from yours!

168. And when I was strong enough,

169. I whispered to you the winds and witches that have brought you here.

170. You used me!

171. Of course I used you!

172. And I paid you back

173. by enhancing you with some of my power!

174. Sadly, the sacred station of the Sorceress

175. also comes with a crooked curse, my dear.

176. You are bound, forevermore, to the halls of Grayskull,

177. unable to ever leave this forsaken fortress.

178. But thanks to my newfound power,

179. I will bring the universe...

180. to you!

181. And now,

182. I want you to use that power

183. to see where the Sorceress sent her servants.

184. How'd you do that magic thing?

185. - I don't know. Come on!

186. Woo!

187. Tang!

188. Your king and queen are gone not ten minutes

189. and you treacherous thieves try to loot the palace!

190. I'll let you hit him with your fist

191. if you let me hit you with mine.

192. Clamp-Champ, Fisto, are you two blind?

193. That's Teela!

194. Teela!

195. Zoar-above!

196. Teela, we know. This one, we don't.

197. She's a friend of mine, Fisto.

198. And you guys know me.

199. Prince Adam!

200. What sick sorcery is this?

201. You want to talk sick sorcery?

202. You should see what Teela just did.

203. It's not magic. Adam is alive.

204. Somehow.

205. Oh, the king and queen will be elated!

206. Raenius, where is everybody? Where's Mom and Dad?

207. I just sent them off, in the talon-fighter.

208. When we saw what was happening in the skies above Grayskull,

209. the king decreed an evacuation of Eternos.

210. Once the city is empty,

211. the plan is to rendez-vous at Point Dread.

212. Is it true?

213. Skeletor has returned?

214. Ask him yourself.

215. He's back, all right.

216. I'd sure like to fist him!

217. Pathetic people of Eternia,

218. your almighty master

219. has finally found a purpose for your utterly useless lives.

220. As an Army of the Dead!

221. Ah!

222. There you are!

223. My, you certainly are resilient.

224. Let me help with that!

225. Move!

226. The mist! It's corrosive!

227. Then don't let it touch you!

228. - Adam! - Go on, I got this!

229. - Alley-oop!

230. Now's not the time to lounge around the castle, Prince Adam.

231. That stings, come on!

232. This way, come on!

233. It's time for this mist to meet my fist!

234. Ah!

235. Ha!

236. Raenius, it's me!

237. Snap out of it!

238. It's no use. Whatever's left of our friends is long gone.

239. Sorry to do this, Clamp-Champ.

240. Ha!

241. If you wanna beat me,

242. it'll take more than just a fist!

243. Ah!

244. Hey, Teela!

245. I'm sorry.

246. I'm sorry, old friends.

247. You deserved better deaths.

248. Their souls were honest and true.

249. So, if I know anything about the afterlife...

250. both Fisto and Clamp-Champ were already in Preternia.

251. They would be.

252. But as you can see,

253. I hold their souls right here,

254. in the palm of my hand.

255. Such is the power with which I find myself imbued.

256. Now, I have command not only over life and death,

257. but the afterlife as well!

258. And you, Adam,

259. you abused this power.

260. You hid it away and only ever called upon it to police me,

261. when you could've used that power to rip the soul from my body!

262. Like I just did

263. to your noble friends!

264. So, while they were bound for glory and eternal reward in Preternia...

265. I just damned them both to Subternia instead!

266. You dare to attack me?

267. Ha-ha! Without your silly sword,

268. you're no longer He-Man.

269. I mean, you're barely a man!

270. Just look at you!

271. Once the bane of my existence,

272. now merely a bug on the windshield of my wind-raider.

273. Ha!

274. Your heroics are hilarious to me!

275. You wanna fighty-fight?

276. I can unmake you with a thought!

277. But you think you can punch your way to a victory?

278. Ha-ha! Tell you what, kid?

279. Take your best shot!

280. What are we laughing at?

281. See, the sword is just the conduit.

282. But the spark? That was always me.

283. And I've often wondered...

284. what kind of fabulous secret powers would be revealed to me

285. if I didn't have the sword...

286. but still said the words?

287. No!

288. By the power of Grayskull!
