7. Just one problem:
she's broke y'all.Copy !req
8. Unable to afford her habit,Copy !req
9. she engineered some
designer-grade extendible heelsCopy !req
10. and turned to a life
of thievery as...Copy !req
11. Stiletto!Copy !req
12. Yo! My headphones are pickin' up
some funky interference...Copy !req
13. Betcha'd have better

16. Moon Girl fires off
her signature boxing gloves!Copy !req
17. What the—?Copy !req
18. The voice is literally
describing everything
happening right now!Copy !req
19. You really wanna be playin'
with your gadgets right now?Copy !req
20. Are you talking to me?Copy !req
21. B-No. I'm talking to
the other distracted superhero
letting a villain get away!Copy !req
22. Huh?Copy !req
23. Thanks for the heel up,
Moon Girl!Copy !req
24. Uh, hello? Weird stalker voice?Copy !req
25. It's gone!Copy !req
26. Okay! You might have a point.Copy !req
27. Let's just go home.Copy !req
28. I gotta rest up
for the big day tomorrow!Copy !req
29. No, no, no, no, no.
Not National Hot Dog Day.Copy !req
30. Even better!Copy !req
31. The official launch
of this year's science fair!Copy !req
32. And this year,
we have a special prize
for our first place winner.Copy !req
33. Can I get a drumroll?Copy !req
34. This year's grand prize
will be...Copy !req
35. Uh, Eduardo?Copy !req
36. Eduardo!Copy !req
37. Hey! I was just gettin' into it!Copy !req
38. As I was saying, this year's
grand prize will be...Copy !req
39. a personal tour of the most
technologically-advanced
building here in Manhattan,Copy !req
40. the Wakandan Outreach Center!Copy !req
41. What?Copy !req
42. Are you serious!Copy !req
43. As usual, the competition
will be a 48-hour challenge.Copy !req
44. This year, we're doing it
in randomly assigned teams.Copy !req
45. So, Brooklyn,
you're with Geri.Copy !req
46. Anand, you're with Robbie.Copy !req
47. And Lunella, you're with...Copy !req
48. Eduardo.Copy !req
49. - No!
- Yeah! Look out y'all!Copy !req
50. This 'bout to be the best combo
since bread and butta' baby!Copy !req
51. Whoo!Copy !req
52. You must've done
something pretty bad
in a past lifeCopy !req
53. to get paired with Ed-weirdo.Copy !req
54. And of all years!Copy !req
55. We're talking about
the Wakandans.Copy !req
56. Some of the most brilliant
Black minds on the planet!Copy !req
57. Ugh! This day
couldn't get any worse.Copy !req
58. Lu...!Copy !req
59. What is all of this?Copy !req
60. Dad, um, it's just
a little underground tech!Copy !req
61. Nothing weird!Copy !req
62. Okay, I admit that was weird
but please don't get upset!Copy !req
63. Oh, I'm more than upset...Copy !req
64. Baby girl,
I'm disappointed!Copy !req
65. I'm tellin' everybody!Copy !req
66. You should see the look
on your face right now!Copy !req
67. Hold on.Copy !req
68. A-whuh?Copy !req
69. Wha—who on Earth are you?Copy !req
70. Oh, I'm not from Earth at all!Copy !req
71. I am...Copy !req
72. The Beyonder!Copy !req
73. Whoa, has that always
been there?Copy !req
74. Wait, that voice!Copy !req
75. You're the one
who was in my ear last night?Copy !req
76. Some funky, shape-shifting
space wizard with
a bad stage name?Copy !req
77. Funky? Yes.Copy !req
78. Wizard? No!Copy !req
79. I've got more
goin' on than that.Copy !req
80. Lemme clue you in
with a little—Copy !req
81. what do you humans call it?Copy !req
82. Swagger.Copy !req
83. I do not have time for this.Copy !req
84. Ayy!
How dare you interrupt
someone as powerful as me?Copy !req
85. No shade, but Lunella herself
ripped a hole in space and time.Copy !req
86. So it takes a lot
to impress us, pal.Copy !req
87. Selena Gomez just followed me!Copy !req
88. Do whatever this
magical creature says, Lunella.Copy !req
89. Now, let's get started!Copy !req
90. Pump your brakes, pal!
I got a science fair to win.Copy !req
91. But I need your help to decide—Copy !req
92. Where the exit is?Copy !req
93. It's right over there.Copy !req
94. Bye, Beyonder!Copy !req
95. Aight, fine.Copy !req
96. But I'm taking these with me.Copy !req
97. No!Copy !req
98. Selena, come back!Copy !req
99. Eduardo!Copy !req
100. I stayed up all night
and came upCopy !req
101. with the award-winning idea
for the fair!Copy !req
102. For real?
'Cause I got an awesome idea
for the science fair thing too!Copy !req
103. Uh, you have an idea?Copy !req
104. Yeah! Check it.Copy !req
105. yesterday on the train,
I saw this dude makingCopy !req
106. all kinds of dope music
with random trashCopy !req
107. like buckets and cans,Copy !req
108. so I'm thinkin' for the fair,Copy !req
109. we could build a machine thingy
that hits another thingyCopy !req
110. but ours smacks into other stuff
and goes brap-pap-pap!Copy !req
111. - Whaddaya think?
- Sounds, uh—Copy !req
112. sounds brilliant!Copy !req
113. In fact, I happened to come up
with basically the same thing!Copy !req
114. But instead of hitting a thingy,
it absorbs CO2Copy !req
115. and instead of brap-pap,Copy !req
116. it poofy-oofs oxygen.Copy !req
117. Nice!Copy !req
118. Hold up, that doesn't
really sound like my—Copy !req
119. Great work, Eduardo!Copy !req
120. Oh, it's gonna be epic!Copy !req
121. Well, I just convinced Ed-weirdoCopy !req
122. to do my brilliant
science fair idea.Copy !req
123. I call it,Copy !req
124. The Big "E" Vent!Copy !req
125. A household ventilation system
that sucks in air, removes CO2,Copy !req
126. and combines it with hydrogen
to create solid reusable carbon!Copy !req
127. I can smell the Wakanda
swag bag already!Copy !req
128. 'Sup.Copy !req
129. It's me!Copy !req
130. The Beyonder!Copy !req
131. - Miss me?
- Hey, yo. Beyonder!Copy !req
132. I thought I told you
to be-gone-der!Copy !req
133. No, you told me
you were busy with school,Copy !req
134. so I figured I'd just come here
to learn human stuff.Copy !req
135. Why do you humans
eat all this junk?Copy !req
136. Y'know, I could make
a single pelletCopy !req
137. with all the nutrients
your body needs!Copy !req
138. That actually
sounds marketable.Copy !req
139. And nasty!Copy !req
140. Eating is supposed
to be enjoyable.Copy !req
141. That wasn't enjoyable at all!Copy !req
142. One, you better
bippity boppity boop
me a new sandwich, okay?Copy !req
143. And two, you're supposed
to take small human bites.Copy !req
144. Break it down
into little pieces.Copy !req
145. Which is how I'll make sureCopy !req
146. Eduardo doesn't mess up
the project!Copy !req
147. Gotta go!Copy !req
148. Mmm!Copy !req
149. Shh!Copy !req
150. This is a library!Copy !req
151. Beyonder? Is that you?Copy !req
152. C'mon and ditch this pointless
science fair thingCopy !req
153. and focus on something
more important: me.Copy !req
154. I need to learn more
about you Earthlings!Copy !req
155. Spaghetti Lafayette-y!Copy !req
156. I got some tight ideas
on how build our project!Copy !req
157. Oh, no need!Copy !req
158. I took the liberty of breaking
down the projectCopy !req
159. into super easy
to assemble piecesCopy !req
160. with easy to follow
instructions!Copy !req
161. Oh. Really?Copy !req
162. Now of all times?Copy !req
163. Uh, go ahead.Copy !req
164. Start assembling the base!Copy !req
165. Moon Girl magic!Copy !req
166. Hmm, this should be informative!Copy !req
167. Look, just stay
out of our way, okay?Copy !req
168. Let's do this, D!Copy !req
169. Sonic Boom Blast!Copy !req
170. Haaa!Copy !req
171. Wow!Copy !req
172. The human reaction to peril
is so intriguing!Copy !req
173. Beyonder!Copy !req
174. you are getting
beyond my last nerve!Copy !req
175. Hey. You wanna fight
a giant hot dog monster?Copy !req
176. Phew!Copy !req
177. - Sorry—
- Yo, Lunella Acapella!Copy !req
178. I built the base like you said,
and then I figured,Copy !req
179. we could work my killer
idea into the project too!
Check it out!Copy !req
180. Oof.Copy !req
181. My mom needs me,Copy !req
182. but we can finish this baby
tomorrow before the fair!Copy !req
183. Can't wait!Copy !req
184. Oh, he had one job!Copy !req
185. One! To just follow the manual!Copy !req
186. I don't get it!Copy !req
187. What is the human obsession
with re-makes?Copy !req
188. - This animated
version is way better!
- Hello?Copy !req
189. The science fair is to-mor-row!Copy !req
190. I tried to be a team player.Copy !req
191. And look what happened!Copy !req
192. What is the point of working
with other peopleCopy !req
193. if they don't bring
anything to the table!Copy !req
194. Useless!Copy !req
195. You're right,
humans are useless.Copy !req
196. Especially Eduardo!Copy !req
197. Just useless!
Useless! Useless! Useless!Copy !req
198. Well, that settles it then.Copy !req
199. I'm gonna erase humanity.Copy !req
200. Wait? You what?Copy !req
201. That's why I wanted to learn
about humans in the first place.Copy !req
202. To figure out whether
they're worthy of existence.Copy !req
203. You cut me off before I could
get to that part of the song.Copy !req
204. Whoa, whoa, whoa.Copy !req
205. But I was just venting!Copy !req
206. You can't erase everyone.Copy !req
207. No, no, not everyone.Copy !req
208. I'm sparing you, obviously.Copy !req
209. Your intellect is invaluable!Copy !req
210. Oh, yes,Copy !req
211. I'm sparing you too.Copy !req
212. Let's get this over with
so we can grab some dinner.Copy !req
213. I'm thinkin' tacos.Copy !req
214. No! No, no, no. Stop! Please!Copy !req
215. Just gimme a chance
to change your mind!Copy !req
216. Okay, tell you what.Copy !req
217. A species is only as good
as its weakest link.Copy !req
218. And according to you,
Eduardo is the mostCopy !req
219. useless human of them all.Copy !req
220. So, if you can prove his valueCopy !req
221. by winning the science
fair with him,Copy !req
222. then I'll spare humanity.Copy !req
223. You're gonna hang
the fate of humanityCopy !req
224. on a science fair trophy?Copy !req
225. When you put it like that,Copy !req
226. yup.Copy !req
227. All of humanity?Copy !req
228. You gotta win
this competition, Lu!Copy !req
229. The only way to win
is if I execute my ideaCopy !req
230. without Eduardo around
to mess it up!Copy !req
231. How in the world am I gonna
work on it all aloneCopy !req
232. without The Beyonder
finding out?Copy !req
233. Hey, what's poppin?Copy !req
234. It's crazy, we were
just talking about you.Copy !req
235. Of course you were.
I'm fascinating.Copy !req
236. And, uh, Casey
was saying how muchCopy !req
237. she wanted to show you
cool human stuff!Copy !req
238. - Right, Case?
- Yeah!Copy !req
239. I mean, lots of cool stuff.Copy !req
240. Like pedicures or—Copy !req
241. Well, if it serves
to distract youCopy !req
242. from your impending doom,Copy !req
243. whatever.Copy !req
244. Come with me!Copy !req
245. Yo, Lafayette!Copy !req
246. I'm comin' to your spot
after schoolCopy !req
247. to finish our masterpiece.Copy !req
248. Um, you know,Copy !req
249. I was looking
at the project last nightCopy !req
250. and I realized we need a...Copy !req
251. Triple-Forged Gorilla wrench!Copy !req
252. "A Triple-Forged
Gorilla wrench?"Copy !req
253. I've never heard of it.Copy !req
254. Yeah. That's 'cause
they're super rareCopy !req
255. but it's super important
for our project!Copy !req
256. It's the only thing that'll make
the clinky-inky go ka-pow-ee!Copy !req
257. Oh, word! That is important!Copy !req
258. Which is why I'm entrusting youCopy !req
259. with the mission
of finding one for us.Copy !req
260. Have no fear!Copy !req
261. 'Cause Super Eduardo is here
except he's about to leaveCopy !req
262. 'cause his gonna go and find it!Copy !req
263. Oh, okay, yeah.Copy !req
264. Phew! That should keep him busy!Copy !req
265. Now, let's juice
this project up!Copy !req
266. Da-da-da!Copy !req
267. Ya boy came through!Copy !req
268. I had to search
a buncha different stores!Copy !req
269. I can't believe it's real!Copy !req
270. Me neither.Copy !req
271. So where's our project!
I'm ready to rock this thing!Copy !req
272. Okay. Check. It. Out!Copy !req
273. Yo, you got jokes!Copy !req
274. For real though,
where's our project?Copy !req
275. No, this is our project!Copy !req
276. The CO2 absorber!Copy !req
277. But where's the stuff I did?Copy !req
278. Well, I had to make
a few tweaks.Copy !req
279. You didn't even need
this thing, did you?Copy !req
280. You just wanted to keep me away
so you could toss out my ideaCopy !req
281. and do the whole thing alone.Copy !req
282. Look, I needed to make a project
that could actually win.Copy !req
283. But this was supposed to be
my project too!Copy !req
284. Winning this fair
is really important,Copy !req
285. more important
than you could imagine.Copy !req
286. Just write your name
on our project.Copy !req
287. You mean your project.Copy !req
288. I know I kid around and stuff,Copy !req
289. but this wasn't some joke
to me, Lunella.Copy !req
290. I really wanted
to make something dope,Copy !req
291. something to show everyone that
I'm smart and have ideas too.Copy !req
292. That's why I was so juiced
when we got pairedCopy !req
293. 'cause out of everyone
in our class,Copy !req
294. I thought...Copy !req
295. you'd take my ideas seriously.Copy !req
296. But, I guess I was wrong.Copy !req
297. Eduardo, wait.Copy !req
298. Big B! My Dawg! Lookin' good!Copy !req
299. Where's Eduardo?Copy !req
300. Oh! Um, he's on the way!Copy !req
301. Running a bit behind.
Funny one, that kid.Copy !req
302. Speaking of funny.
You're gonna love this one, huh!Copy !req
303. It's one of those things
you humans call riddles.Copy !req
304. What's better than
being all-powerful?Copy !req
305. Being all-knowing.Copy !req
306. See, I know you did
that project by yourself.Copy !req
307. I knew your plan as soon
as you said it to Casey.Copy !req
308. I only went along
with the mani/pediCopy !req
309. 'cause it sounded relaxing.Copy !req
310. Which it was.Copy !req
311. Anyways you can't use this
for the fair.Copy !req
312. No!Copy !req
313. See ya in a few hours, genius!Copy !req
314. Lu! Check the toes!Copy !req
315. Um, I'm sure the judges
will appreciate the nosh,Copy !req
316. but where's your project?Copy !req
317. That's it,
busted and brined by Beyonder.Copy !req
318. Well, use that amazing brain
to make something else!Copy !req
319. There's no time.Copy !req
320. Besides, it doesn't even matter.Copy !req
321. Eduardo isn't here.Copy !req
322. I was such a jerk to him, Case.Copy !req
323. Now, I'm gonna lose this fair
and the worldCopy !req
324. is gonna be over—Copy !req
325. Sheesh,
you nerds really do takeCopy !req
326. this science stuff seriously.Copy !req
327. Eduardo! You came?Copy !req
328. Not for you.
I got my own project.Copy !req
329. Ooh, awkward.Copy !req
330. So, where's your project anyway?Copy !req
331. Oh, I, uh—I messed it up
on the way here.Copy !req
332. Oh...Copy !req
333. But I really messed up treating
you the way that I did, Eduardo.Copy !req
334. You were right.Copy !req
335. This was supposed
to be your project tooCopy !req
336. and you deserved
to be taken seriously.Copy !req
337. I'm really sorry.Copy !req
338. Yeah, well, looks like
we're both getting an "F"Copy !req
339. cause my idea didn't turn out
the way I wanted to either.Copy !req
340. What is that?Copy !req
341. The Funk Buster X.Copy !req
342. Well, it's supposed to be.Copy !req
343. I couldn't figure out
how to get the parts to workCopy !req
344. the way I imagined
but I just thinkCopy !req
345. it's so cool how stuff
people call trashCopy !req
346. can end up
making dope sounds.Copy !req
347. Well that's the marvel
of density,Copy !req
348. matter, and sound waves
my friend—Copy !req
349. wait! Eduardo you're a genius!Copy !req
350. Psht! I know that!
About what tho?Copy !req
351. Your idea and the compelling
science behind it!Copy !req
352. It's perfect for the fair!Copy !req
353. With some extra supplies
and an engineer's touch,Copy !req
354. I'm pretty sure we can
make it actually work!Copy !req
355. - For real?
- Yeah!Copy !req
356. - I just hope it's not too late—
- Too late? Psht!Copy !req
357. I am The King
of last-minute projects.Copy !req
358. And I'm still in it to win it
as long as you are.Copy !req
359. All right, Lafayette,
you bring the science,Copy !req
360. and I'll bring the swag.Copy !req
361. Sometimes we
overlook amazing things
that are right in front of us.Copy !req
362. We underestimate them.Copy !req
363. This machine uses
everyday objects to exploreCopy !req
364. how sound waves move
through a multitude of mediums.Copy !req
365. Let the beat drop.Copy !req
366. Oh, no!Copy !req
367. For our project,
we turned ourselvesCopy !req
368. into magnets that are
strong enough to levitate!Copy !req
369. Sorry to interrupt
but it's time.Copy !req
370. WhooheeCopy !req
371. Gotta give myself a hand.Copy !req
372. Beyonder! Stop!Copy !req
373. Nah, I don't think so.Copy !req
374. Oh, ho, ho,
this one's a fighter!Copy !req
375. Thank you.Copy !req
376. Thank you so much.Copy !req
377. Aah!Copy !req
378. Why are you fighting me?Copy !req
379. You proved humans are useless!Copy !req
380. No, I didn't!Copy !req
381. I proved that people
are brilliantCopy !req
382. in their own different ways!Copy !req
383. I wouldn't even have a project
if it weren't for Eduardo!Copy !req
384. A deal's... a deal.Copy !req
385. No! Stop!Copy !req
386. What have I done...?Copy !req
387. Why?Copy !req
388. Oh, man, I had you goin'!Copy !req
389. You look so scared!Copy !req
390. What's going on?Copy !req
391. I'm not really gonna erase
humanity, Lunella.Copy !req
392. I was just having some fun!Copy !req
393. I actually changed my mind
when I saw your cool project.Copy !req
394. Sure, you clearly weren't
gonna win the contest,Copy !req
395. but between your smarts
and Eduardo's creativity,Copy !req
396. you two made something
surprisingly beautiful.Copy !req
397. You showed me that
everybody is valuable.Copy !req
398. Then what was that whole
terrifying song and dance for?Copy !req
399. Girl, you know
I love a good musical number!Copy !req
400. I gotta work that Brrap-pap-pap
machine into my songCopy !req
401. - when I come back.
- What do you mean "come back?"Copy !req
402. You humans are way more
complicated than I thought.Copy !req
403. There's still
so much more to learn!Copy !req
404. So I'll be watching you,
Moon Girl.Copy !req
405. That is one strange
space wizard, D...Copy !req
406. Uh, still watching!Copy !req
407. And for a project so powerful,Copy !req
408. it lifted the room like
Mariah Carey's voice
lifts my soul,Copy !req
409. first place goes to...Copy !req
410. the magnet team!Copy !req
411. Wa-kan-da! Wa-kan-da!Copy !req
412. I've never gotten
honorable mention before...Copy !req
413. Me neither!Copy !req
414. Well, your idea was brilliant.Copy !req
415. Thanks. Means a lot coming
from you Lafayette.Copy !req
416. And since you put your name
on my project,Copy !req
417. that makes me the
smartest kid in school!Copy !req
418. No, that's not how that works—Copy !req
