1. (INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC PLAYING)101Copy !req
2. Is this the greatest power
in the universe?Copy !req
3. A fugitive Variant's been killing
our Minutemen.Copy !req
4. Whoever this Variant is,
we haven't been able to find him.Copy !req
5. The Time Variance Authority
and the gods of Asgard, one and the same.Copy !req
6. Drunk with power, blinded to the truth.Copy !req
7. The Time-Keepers are monitoring
every aspect of this case.Copy !req
8. He's hiding in apocalypses.Copy !req
9. You're the fool
the TVA brought in to hunt me down.Copy !req
10. Me, I presume.Copy !req
11. I'm going to overthrow the Time-Keepers.Copy !req
12. I'm not interested in ruling
the Time Variance Authority.Copy !req
13. I gave it away.Copy !req
14. The Time-Keepers, where they are.Copy !req
15. What do you want?Copy !req
16. No! No! Loki, wait!Copy !req
17. Wait! Loki, wait!Copy !req
18. No! Wait, Loki!Copy !req
19. We could do potato skins
or buffalo fingers...Copy !req
20. Or we could eat somewhere else.Copy !req
21. (SCOFFS) Why do you hate this place?Copy !req
22. I don't hate it, I fear it.Copy !req
23. Do you know how many timesCopy !req
24. the health department has
closed this place down?Copy !req
25. Well, the drinks seem fine.Copy !req
26. Mmm...Copy !req
27. - (CHUCKLES)
- Oh, God!Copy !req
28. Ah, brain freeze!Copy !req
29. You know what brain freeze is, don't you?Copy !req
30. (SIGHS) Here we go.Copy !req
31. It's when you sip something so cold...Copy !req
32. Brain freeze associated with coldness...
Got it.Copy !req
33. Wait, I'm being serious.Copy !req
34. So, it permeates the roof of your mouth
and it freezes the synapses in your brain.Copy !req
35. So, your memories
are literally frozen in place.Copy !req
36. - That is absolutely not true.
- It is!Copy !req
37. Okay. Try it. Whatever you're thinking
about will get frozen in place.Copy !req
38. I'm gonna ask you a question,Copy !req
39. and you won't be able to answer
until the synapses have melted.Copy !req
40. Challenge accepted.Copy !req
41. Okay, ask.Copy !req
42. How many people are guarding
the Time-Keepers?Copy !req
43. I'm sorry, what?Copy !req
44. Hey, how long have we been best friends?Copy !req
45. Too long.Copy !req
46. Seriously, you know you
can tell me anything, right?Copy !req
47. Of course.Copy !req
48. Why won't you tell me how many people
are guarding the Time-Keepers?Copy !req
49. Oh, well, there's...Copy !req
50. This place, I...Copy !req
51. I remember, I know this place.Copy !req
52. But I don't know you.Copy !req
53. It's okay. You're just tired.Copy !req
54. Yeah. I'm probably just tired.Copy !req
55. How do I find the elevators?Copy !req
56. They're gold.Copy !req
57. (OVER SPEAKERS)
All Minutemen to armory.Copy !req
58. Protect the timeline.Copy !req
59. All Minutemen to armory.Copy !req
60. Protect the timeline.Copy !req
61. I don't know, sir.Copy !req
62. All Minutemen to armory.Copy !req
63. Protect the timeline.Copy !req
64. Hey! Stop!Copy !req
65. A few questions.Copy !req
66. Have you got nothing else to do?Copy !req
67. Rude.Copy !req
68. Are you sure you're a Loki?Copy !req
69. - You're in my way.
- You are my way.Copy !req
70. I thought perhaps we could work together.Copy !req
71. (PANTING) But now I see you lack vision.Copy !req
72. So, either you'll come willingly...Copy !req
73. Or you won't. Either way,
that's how I get to the Time-Keepers.Copy !req
74. Oh, God. Shut up!Copy !req
75. - (BOTH GRUNTING)
Hey!Copy !req
76. Come any closer and I'll kill him.Copy !req
77. - Go for it.
- (GRUNTS)Copy !req
78. Get off my leg!Copy !req
79. Goodbye, Variant.Copy !req
80. You're outta juice.
- (LOKI PANTING)Copy !req
81. It's not working.Copy !req
82. Right...
- (GRUNTS)Copy !req
83. Give It To me.
You don't know how to Recharge it.Copy !req
84. Of course I do.
You're not the only tech savvy Loki.Copy !req
85. Don't ever call me that.Copy !req
86. - Tech savvy?
- No, a Loki.Copy !req
87. You're just fully a magician then?Copy !req
88. Fine. For my next trick,
I'll make you disappear.Copy !req
89. - Is that one of your powers?
- Where did you send us?Copy !req
90. You idiot! This is Lamentis 1.Copy !req
91. I don't know what that means!Copy !req
92. The moon that planet is about to
crash into and destroy.Copy !req
93. Of all of the apocalypses
saved on that TemPad, this is the worst!Copy !req
94. No one makes it off here!Copy !req
95. - Watch out! (GRUNTS)
- (SCREAMS)Copy !req
96. I'm sorry, madam.
Didn't have time to scan the brochure.Copy !req
97. By the way, I thought you wanted me dead.Copy !req
98. I don't know where you hid that TemPad,Copy !req
99. but if you blow up, it blows up,
and then I end up blown up.Copy !req
100. There!Copy !req
101. - So we're a team now?
- Oh, God, no!Copy !req
102. - Get down!
- (GASPS)Copy !req
103. Didn't need your help!Copy !req
104. You're so weird!Copy !req
105. What are you doing?Copy !req
106. What are you doing?Copy !req
107. You trying to enchant me?Copy !req
108. It won't work.Copy !req
109. Why? Because you're a magician?Copy !req
110. - No, because my mind is too strong.
- Fine!Copy !req
111. (SIGHS) Look. Are we really
about to do this here? Again?Copy !req
112. What do you propose instead?Copy !req
113. I don't know. A truce?Copy !req
114. Listen, neither of us
is getting off this rockCopy !req
115. if we can't turn that TemPad on.Copy !req
116. Where do you have it hidden?Copy !req
117. - In my heart.
- Well, then, I'll cut it out.Copy !req
118. Nice. Very droll. Lovely.Copy !req
119. Okay, yes, I do have the TemPad,Copy !req
120. but I'm not gonna get very far
if you keep trying to kill me.Copy !req
121. You're full of it because
you need me to get that recharged.Copy !req
122. That's the only reason
you saved me out there.Copy !req
123. Maybe.Copy !req
124. Yeah. I mean, sure. That too.Copy !req
125. Or we could slaughter each other here
in this abandoned mining shack.Copy !req
126. - What do you say?
- Good for me.Copy !req
127. The plan you interrupted
was years in the making.Copy !req
128. - Years!
- Okay, got it.Copy !req
129. And as soon as I turn that TemPad back on,Copy !req
130. I'm going straight back to the TVA
to finish what I started.Copy !req
131. Good.Copy !req
132. - I'll kill you then.
- Or I'll kill you.Copy !req
133. Where're you going?Copy !req
134. There's power somewhere on this moon.Copy !req
135. We just need enough to travel
through inter-dimensional time and space.Copy !req
136. Jeez!Copy !req
137. Yep.Copy !req
138. (PANTING) So, what's the plan?Copy !req
139. There's a town near here.
And can you shut up?Copy !req
140. Just because I have to work with you
doesn't mean I wanna hear your voice.Copy !req
141. All right, well... Slow down, Variant.Copy !req
142. What part of imminent death confuses you?Copy !req
143. And don't call me "Variant."Copy !req
144. I'm sorry, but I'm not calling
some faded photocopy of me "Loki."Copy !req
145. Good. 'Cause that's not who I am anymore.
I'm Sylvie now.Copy !req
146. You changed your name. Brilliant.Copy !req
147. It's called an alias.Copy !req
148. It's not very Loki-like.Copy !req
149. Yeah? What exactly makes a Loki a Loki?Copy !req
150. (SIGHS) Independence, authority, style.Copy !req
151. So, naturally you went to work
for the boring, oppressive time police.Copy !req
152. I don't work for them.
I'm a consultant.Copy !req
153. You don't know what you want.Copy !req
154. Oh, yeah? What about you?Copy !req
155. Your years-in-the-making plan
was to tear the place down,Copy !req
156. create the ultimate power vacuum,
and then just walk away.Copy !req
157. I'd never have done that.Copy !req
158. Yeah? Well, I'm not you.Copy !req
159. Can we get on with this now?Copy !req
160. It looks like everyone already fled.Copy !req
161. If they did, it was in vain.Copy !req
162. How long do we have?Copy !req
163. Twelve hours or so.
Things down here are only gonna get worse.Copy !req
164. More meteors, gravity quakes,Copy !req
165. and of course, the collapse of society
in the face of annihilation.Copy !req
166. Could that charge the TemPad?Copy !req
167. Maybe.Copy !req
168. I'm just checking the coupling.
Making sure it can connect.Copy !req
169. Right.Copy !req
170. Okay. Hand it over.Copy !req
171. Pitiful. I'm not giving it to you.
You're gonna have to try harder.Copy !req
172. Then don't give me
your "tech savvy" ideas either.Copy !req
173. The TemPad requires
a massive power source, not a night light.Copy !req
174. Brute force is no substitute
for diplomacy and guile.Copy !req
175. Noted.Copy !req
176. It's remarkable
that you ever made it as far as you did.Copy !req
177. Sorry about that.Copy !req
178. Don't be. I enjoyed it.Copy !req
179. Oh... (CHUCKLES) I did too.Copy !req
180. But I can assure you,Copy !req
181. despite my acquaintance
behaving like an animal...Copy !req
182. uh, we mean you no harm.
We're simply weary travelers.Copy !req
183. Sure you are.Copy !req
184. Hello, dear.Copy !req
185. Patrice?Copy !req
186. It... It's been a long time.Copy !req
187. You're as beautiful as...Copy !req
188. Patrice never said
a thing that nice in 30 years.Copy !req
189. You're no travelers, you're devils.Copy !req
190. Which one was that? Diplomacy?Copy !req
191. - Or... (CHUCKLES)
- Don't. Just don't.Copy !req
192. What do you devils want with me?Copy !req
193. We just wanna ask you a question.
Where is everyone?Copy !req
194. The ark.Copy !req
195. The evacuation vessel.Copy !req
196. Something like that would have
enough juice to repower the TemPad.Copy !req
197. How do we get there?Copy !req
198. Train station's the edge of town.
But you'll never get a ticket.Copy !req
199. Come on, let's go.Copy !req
200. Quiet down!Copy !req
201. Get back!Copy !req
202. What's going on?Copy !req
203. The ark leaves tonight
and we've been waiting in line for hours.Copy !req
204. For hours.Copy !req
205. Well, this looks fun.Copy !req
206. Come on.Copy !req
207. We can't fight our way onto that train.Copy !req
208. Who said anything about fighting?Copy !req
209. - All your plans involve fighting.
- Not this one.Copy !req
210. I'm going to enchant a guard,
have him lead us through the crowd,Copy !req
211. and if anyone gives us any trouble...Copy !req
212. Make him start shooting?Copy !req
213. And then what, kill every guard
and hijack the train?Copy !req
214. Whether or not there's a fight
is entirely up to them.Copy !req
215. We're doing this one my way.Copy !req
216. - How do I look?
- Like someone with a shit plan.Copy !req
217. - It's a great plan.
- Hmm.Copy !req
218. Just follow my lead.Copy !req
219. Why can't we get on?
Let us in! Come on!Copy !req
220. To Shuroo? This way, sir.Copy !req
221. Let us in! Women and children...Copy !req
222. They're only giving tickets out
to the wealthy!Copy !req
223. What about us?Copy !req
224. Tickets?Copy !req
225. Whoa! Hey!Copy !req
226. Taking this one to Shuroo.Copy !req
227. Okay. And the tickets?Copy !req
228. Orders come from the top
to get her on this train.Copy !req
229. Sir, this...Copy !req
230. Everything okay?Copy !req
231. Yeah, everything's fine.Copy !req
232. Yeah, I just remembered
that headquarters radioed inCopy !req
233. their request for them this morning.Copy !req
234. Okay.Copy !req
235. Okay.Copy !req
236. Tickets?Copy !req
237. Good evening, passengers. Hi.Copy !req
238. Um, uh, look,
I can't go backwards on a train.Copy !req
239. Well, I never sit with my back to a door.Copy !req
240. What? There are doors on both sides.Copy !req
241. Oh, just sit down.Copy !req
242. FYI, that wasn't even a plan.Copy !req
243. Oh, really?Copy !req
244. Plans have multiple steps.Copy !req
245. Dressing as a guard and getting on a train
is just doing a thing.Copy !req
246. Oh, you a bit tired?
Feel free to, you know, get some rest.Copy !req
247. I can't sleep in a place like this.Copy !req
248. You can't sleep on a train?Copy !req
249. No. I can't sleep around
untrustworthy people.Copy !req
250. (WHISPERS) Oh, right. That me?Copy !req
251. But you feel free to take a nap.Copy !req
252. Nice try.Copy !req
253. I'm not gonna waste my time
rooting around for the TemPadCopy !req
254. when someone taught you
fairly decent magic.Copy !req
255. My mother.Copy !req
256. What was she like?Copy !req
257. She was, um...Copy !req
258. A Queen of Asgard.Copy !req
259. She was good. Purely decent.Copy !req
260. (SCOFFS) Are you sure she was your mother?Copy !req
261. Oh, no, she's not actually. I was adopted.Copy !req
262. Is that a bit of a spoiler for you?
Sorry about that.Copy !req
263. No, I knew I was adopted.Copy !req
264. What? They told you?Copy !req
265. Yeah. Did they not tell you?
- No.Copy !req
266. I mean, they did, eventually.Copy !req
267. Hang on a second.
So, tell... Tell me about your mother.Copy !req
268. I barely remember her.Copy !req
269. Just blips of a dream at this point.Copy !req
270. You know, when I was young, she'd do
these little bits of magic for me.Copy !req
271. Like turn a flower into a frog
or cast fireworks over the water.Copy !req
272. It all seemed impossible.Copy !req
273. She told me that
I'd be able to do it too because...Copy !req
274. Because I could do anything.Copy !req
275. You wanna see?Copy !req
276. (SNIFFS) Not bad.Copy !req
277. She was the kinda person
you'd want to believe in you.Copy !req
278. Sounds like she does.Copy !req
279. Well, she did.Copy !req
280. So, where'd you learn to do the...Copy !req
281. - You know, the... Whatever it is?
- I taught myself.Copy !req
282. - You taught yourself that magic?
- Yeah, I did.Copy !req
283. What, do you just...Copy !req
284. You just go into their minds
and project some sort of illusion?Copy !req
285. It'd be easier if I just...Copy !req
286. Enchanted me and take the TemPad
and leap out the train?Copy !req
287. - No, thank you.
- Well then, don't ask.Copy !req
288. - (WHISPERS) Okay.
- Champagne?Copy !req
289. Ah, yes. Thank you very much.Copy !req
290. No, I'm good, thanks.Copy !req
291. Oh, I'll take hers. Thank you.Copy !req
292. Cheers.Copy !req
293. To the end of the world.Copy !req
294. A pity the old woman chose to die,
don't you think?Copy !req
295. - She was in love.
- She hated him.Copy !req
296. Maybe love is hate.Copy !req
297. Should probably remember that.Copy !req
298. What was that? "Love is..."Copy !req
299. - "Love is hate."
- Oh, piss off!Copy !req
300. So, on the subject of love,Copy !req
301. is there a lucky beau waiting for you
at the end of this crusade?Copy !req
302. - Yeah, there is, actually.
- Oh.Copy !req
303. Managed to maintain quite a serious
long-distance relationship with a postmanCopy !req
304. whilst running across time...Copy !req
305. - (CHUCKLES)
- ... from one apocalypse to another.Copy !req
306. With charm like that,
who could resist you?Copy !req
307. Well, people are quite willing
in the face of certain doom.Copy !req
308. I'm sure they are.Copy !req
309. It was only ever just to keep me going.Copy !req
310. How about you? You're a prince.Copy !req
311. Must've been would-be-princesses
or perhaps, another prince.Copy !req
312. A bit of both. I suspect the same as you.Copy !req
313. But, nothing ever...Copy !req
314. Real.Copy !req
315. Mmm...Copy !req
316. Love is mischief, then.Copy !req
317. No.Copy !req
318. Love is...Copy !req
319. uh, something I might have
to have another drink to think about.Copy !req
320. You do realize
we're about to try and hijackCopy !req
321. the power source
to a civilization's only hope?Copy !req
322. - I do.
- It's not gonna be easy.Copy !req
323. We should rest.Copy !req
324. All right. You relax your way
and I'll relax mine.Copy !req
325. (IN ENGLISH)
She sings, she sings come homeCopy !req
326. When she sings, she sings come homeCopy !req
327. (IN ENGLISH) Where's your uniform?Copy !req
328. When she sings, she sings come home
When she sings, she sings come homeCopy !req
329. When she sings, she sings come home
When she sings, she sings come homeCopy !req
330. When she sings, she sings come home
When she sings, she sings come homeCopy !req
331. - To Sylvie, everybody!
Yeah!Copy !req
332. You're drunk.Copy !req
333. No, I'm just full.Copy !req
334. But bear in mind, I'm very full.Copy !req
335. Now, I need you to try this.Copy !req
336. It pairs very nicely with the Figgy Port.Copy !req
337. Who's got the Figgy Port?Copy !req
338. You have to take my word
on the Figgy Port.Copy !req
339. Where's your uniform?
We're meant to be laying low.Copy !req
340. Nobody cares. It's the end of the world.Copy !req
341. - I think something's happening.
- Yes.Copy !req
342. Uh, that planet is about to crash into us.Copy !req
343. Don't be an ass.
I saw some people looking at you weirdly.Copy !req
344. What?Copy !req
345. When did you get so paranoid?Copy !req
346. It must have started
when I spent my entire lifeCopy !req
347. running from the omniscient fascists
you work for.Copy !req
348. It's a shame to let that go to waste.Copy !req
349. Hey! Change of subject.
I thought of an answer.Copy !req
350. To what?Copy !req
351. Your question.Copy !req
352. Love is a dagger.Copy !req
353. It's a weapon
to be wielded far away or up close.Copy !req
354. You can see yourself in it.
It's beautiful.Copy !req
355. Until it makes you bleed.Copy !req
356. But ultimately, when you reach for it...Copy !req
357. - It isn't real.
- Yeah.Copy !req
358. Love is an imaginary dagger.Copy !req
359. Doesn't make sense, does it?Copy !req
360. No. Terrible metaphor.Copy !req
361. - Damn. I thought I had something there.
- (DOOR OPENS)Copy !req
362. That's him.Copy !req
363. - Stay cool.
- It's gonna be fine.Copy !req
364. Sir, can I see your tickets?Copy !req
365. You again. Hello.Copy !req
366. Um, tickets.
Yes, of course. Here they are.Copy !req
367. Oops.Copy !req
368. Still, it looks lovely, doesn't it?Copy !req
369. Look, is this really necessary?
There is a simple explanation...Copy !req
370. - Hey.
Huh?Copy !req
371. What? Hey!Copy !req
372. Get out of the way.Copy !req
373. - Awful throw.
- (SIGHS)Copy !req
374. Oh, will you stop it?Copy !req
375. Bye.Copy !req
376. TemPad.Copy !req
377. Well, that's not ideal.Copy !req
378. - Give me the TemPad.
- All right. All right. Okay.Copy !req
379. Well, I did take quite the tumble.Copy !req
380. You asshole. You killed us.Copy !req
381. Maybe we can fix it. Okay? Um...Copy !req
382. You're not a serious man.Copy !req
383. You're right. I'm a god.Copy !req
384. You're a clown.
You got drunk on the train.Copy !req
385. - I'm hedonistic. That's what I do.
- I'm hedonistic.Copy !req
386. A lot more than you, I assure you.
But never at the expense of the mission.Copy !req
387. Oh, the mission? The mission?Copy !req
388. What, your glorious purpose?
Give me a break. You can't beat them.Copy !req
389. Okay.Copy !req
390. Did the, uh, scream make you feel better?Copy !req
391. Yes, it did.Copy !req
392. You should try it sometime.Copy !req
393. What now?Copy !req
394. - I don't know. You broke the TemPad.
- Well...Copy !req
395. And that planet is about to crash into us.Copy !req
396. - Well, yes, but...
- Yes, but what?Copy !req
397. Well, the entire moon is destroyed, right?Copy !req
398. Yeah. And everyone on it is killed.Copy !req
399. - Including us.
- Yes, including us.Copy !req
400. What about the ark?Copy !req
401. The ark never leaves
because it's destroyed.Copy !req
402. Never had us on it.Copy !req
403. So what? We hijack the ark
and make sure it gets off this moon?Copy !req
404. I mean, sounds like a good idea to me.Copy !req
405. Okay.Copy !req
406. Really?Copy !req
407. You know, I don't think
I've ever walked this much in my life.Copy !req
408. That's a pretty good life.Copy !req
409. Well, you're lucky you missed it.Copy !req
410. Here's an idea. What if you enchanted me
and you could walk for both of us?Copy !req
411. Or I take a nap in my subconscious,Copy !req

428. Most are easy

432. I have to create a fantasy
from their memories.Copy !req

her mind was messed up.Copy !req
435. Everything clouded.Copy !req

from hundreds of years prior,Copy !req

446. They don't know that.Copy !req
447. All ticketed passengers...Copy !req
448. That's our ride.Copy !req
449. Ten minutes until launch.Copy !req
450. Final boarding call.Copy !req
451. Do we trust each other?Copy !req
452. We do and you can.Copy !req
453. Good. Because this is gonna suck.Copy !req
454. Remain calm. We're now at capacity.Copy !req
