1. How will the end
of the world come upon us?Copy !req
2. It's something I've
always wondered aboutCopy !req
3. ever since I was a kid...Copy !req
4. Well, it arrived without
warning,Copy !req
5. in a way nobody
could have imagined.Copy !req
6. About 4 years ago,
a man named Dr. Skinner,Copy !req
7. one of the most brilliant minds
since Einstein,Copy !req
8. developed a miracle
painkiller known as "Hapna."Copy !req
9. Since it was cheap
and had no side effectsCopy !req
10. it dominated the market
instantlyCopy !req
11. and the world became
a Hapna-filled wonderland.Copy !req
12. They said it freed people
from all sufferingCopy !req
13. and was even celebrated as—Copy !req
14. "the drug that
could save the world."Copy !req
15. Then, 3 years ago,Copy !req
16. Dr. Skinner
vanished without a trace...Copy !req
17. And as it turned out...Copy !req
18. Hapna was a grand trap
that he set upon us all.Copy !req
19. Hey, put some music on for me.Copy !req
20. What kind of music
would you like?Copy !req
21. How about something...Copy !req
22. with the vibe of a man who sold
his soul to the devil...Copy !req
23. along those lines.Copy !req
24. That's what I want to hear.Copy !req
25. Axel Gilberto.
You've got a visitor.Copy !req
26. For me?Copy !req
27. You've got 10 minutes.
We clear?Copy !req
28. Yeah...
That should be plenty.Copy !req
29. Ah, man, great...Copy !req
30. Sorry...
have we met before?Copy !req
31. This is our
first time meeting...Copy !req
32. We're complete strangers.Copy !req
33. Every stranger
who's ever visited meCopy !req
34. usually turns out to be
either a lawyer or a hitman.Copy !req
35. I suppose...Copy !req
36. you might say that
I'm a little of both.Copy !req
37. Huh?Copy !req
38. My name is Hersch.Copy !req
39. I've come here today
to ask you for a favor.Copy !req
40. And depending on
how you answer...Copy !req
41. I could free you
from your current situation.Copy !req
42. Free me... really?Copy !req
43. Do you have any idea
how long I'm serving?Copy !req
44. 888 years.
Multiple life sentences.Copy !req
45. I know everything
there is to know about you.Copy !req
46. Your birth place,
work history,Copy !req
47. medical history, your shoe size,
you name it.Copy !req
48. Nice... What an honor.
So, what's this favor of yours?Copy !req
49. You've heard of Hapna?Copy !req
50. Of course I have.Copy !req
51. It's been all the
rage around here.Copy !req
52. And Dr. Skinner's announcement?Copy !req
53. Haven't heard a thing...Copy !req
54. Let me show you.
This clip was just postedCopy !req
55. to every video platform
around the world.Copy !req
56. After disappearing
off the face of the Earth,Copy !req
57. Dr. Skinner
has made his return.Copy !req
58. If you find yourself...Copy !req
59. unable to feel
any kind of pain,Copy !req
60. then that is no different
from being dead.Copy !req
61. While it is unfortunate,Copy !req
62. due to its dependency
on Hapna,Copy !req
63. mankind as we know it
is dead.Copy !req
64. Furthermore we have become fixated...Copy !req
65. on short-term gains
in a never-ending battle...Copy !req
66. against our fellow man...Copy !req
67. This struggle
has irreparably destroyedCopy !req
68. the environment of our planet.Copy !req
69. Taking the lives of countless
people in the process.Copy !req
70. And so, as a scientist,Copy !req
71. I'm forced to come
to this conclusion...Copy !req
72. That is the true nature
of the human race.Copy !req
73. No way...Copy !req
74. Can we allow this evil
to continue?Copy !req
75. Shouldn't we, the human race...Copy !req
76. be held accountable and face
punishment for our sins?Copy !req
77. As a matter of fact,Copy !req
78. I did not develop Hapna
to act as a mere painkiller.Copy !req
79. I engineered it to
remain in the body.Copy !req
80. Three years after ingestion,
Hapna will mutate...Copy !req
81. killing all those
who have taken it.Copy !req
82. Now here it comes...Copy !req
83. It is impossible
for Hapna to be neutralizedCopy !req
84. or purged
from the bloodstream.Copy !req
85. I have no intention
of playing God.Copy !req
86. Nor do I intend to unilaterally
decide what the fateCopy !req
87. of humanity will be.Copy !req
88. All I am doingCopy !req
89. is serving as the
Seventh Trumpeter.Copy !req
90. You've gotta be kidding.Copy !req
91. I estimate in 30 days...Copy !req
92. The first users
of Hapna will die.Copy !req
93. But you should all know
that I currently have the cure.Copy !req
94. You have 30 days.Copy !req
95. If someone can find me
within that time,Copy !req
96. then humanity will survive.Copy !req
97. You know what I mean!Copy !req
98. - Excuse me... Teach!
- I'm watching it right now.Copy !req
99. - Yes?
- Sorry to interrupt.Copy !req
100. But I'm going home.Copy !req
101. And I don't think
I'll ever be back.Copy !req
102. Okay, but why?Copy !req
103. With what's going on...Copy !req
104. There's no point
in coming to school anymore.Copy !req
105. Whether we as a race
are worth saving or not...Copy !req
106. is something that I leave
for all of you to decide.Copy !req
107. In the past,Copy !req
108. Dr. Skinner sought peace
and equality for all.Copy !req
109. People thought the man
was a real saint.Copy !req
110. And now that he's come back,Copy !req
111. you must think he's turned
into the devil.Copy !req
112. I want you to help me find him.Copy !req
113. That's the favor
I came here to ask you.Copy !req
114. Your time is up.Copy !req
115. So, you know everything
about me, huh?Copy !req
116. I do.Copy !req
117. Then you must already know...Copy !req
118. I have a pretty bad habit...Copy !req
119. I break out of prisons.Copy !req
120. Hurry it up.Copy !req
121. Hey, officer, why the rush?Copy !req
122. Watch yourself!Copy !req
123. Ow!Copy !req
124. Oh!Copy !req
125. Calm down... Nobody move.Copy !req
126. Uh...Copy !req
127. Wouldja mind
taking these things off?Copy !req
128. Hold it right there!Copy !req
129. Hey!Copy !req
130. Aah!Copy !req
131. He fled to the third floor!
After him!Copy !req
132. Huh?Copy !req
133. Huh?Copy !req
134. Hey, buddy!
Let me out, too!Copy !req
135. You stupid little shit!Copy !req
136. Yes?Copy !req
137. He just broke out
of the prison.Copy !req
138. Bring the car around
immediately.Copy !req
139. He just flew away.Copy !req
140. Like a bird that
was let out of its cage.Copy !req
141. Roger that.Copy !req
142. Hey, Leland!Copy !req
143. Oh, hi, Chris.Copy !req
144. Sup?Copy !req
145. Looks like someone's
in a good mood.Copy !req
146. - Really, I do?
- Totally.Copy !req
147. Does humanity being doomed
really make you that happy?Copy !req
148. Nah, that's not why.Copy !req
149. Then what is it?Copy !req
150. It's just...Copy !req
151. ya know, I've come to realizeCopy !req
152. that I don't
have to force myselfCopy !req
153. to go to school anymore.Copy !req
154. Know what I mean?Copy !req
155. You're such a child!Copy !req
156. Aah!Copy !req
157. What'd I say?
- Oh, look, a kitty-cat!Copy !req
158. Aww, it's so cute!Copy !req
159. Oh...Copy !req
160. Not so cute...Copy !req
161. Elaina.Copy !req
162. Keep tabs on all
police communications.Copy !req
163. Roger.Copy !req
164. Damn it...Copy !req
165. Unbelievable.Copy !req
166. What a pain in the ass.Copy !req
167. At this point,
he could've alreadyCopy !req
168. been shot dead by the police.Copy !req
169. That's highly unlikely.Copy !req
170. He's not that kind of man.Copy !req
171. It looks like the police
haven't found him yet, either.Copy !req
172. Understood.
Just keep monitoring them.Copy !req
173. We have breaking news.Copy !req
174. After Professor Skinner's
shocking statementCopy !req
175. earlier today, several cities
have descended into chaos.Copy !req
176. Full-on riots have broken out
in some places,Copy !req
177. while elsewhere,
people have begun lightingCopy !req
178. pharmaceutical companies
on fire.Copy !req
179. My fellow citizens...Copy !req
180. I need you all
to please remain calm.Copy !req
181. We have already assembled
a team of experts.Copy !req
182. They are doing everything
they canCopy !req
183. to develop a cure for Hapna.Copy !req
184. I can only assume thatCopy !req
185. Professor Skinner
has lost his mind.Copy !req
186. I have no idea why
he would do something like this.Copy !req
187. Is it really true
that all the peopleCopy !req
188. who've taken Hapna
can't be saved?Copy !req
189. I mean, the government seems
to that think it's possibleCopy !req
190. for their people to make a cure.Copy !req
191. Thirty days isn't enough time,
I'm afraid.Copy !req
192. Even if a cure could be made,Copy !req
193. it's likely that nobody will be
left alive when it's available.Copy !req
194. In the wake
of Skinner's video,Copy !req
195. pharmaceutical companies
have endedCopy !req
196. all Hapna sales
across the board.Copy !req
197. Furthermore, companies have
issued an emergency recall.Copy !req
198. All products still
on the shelvesCopy !req
199. must be pulled immediately.Copy !req
200. The end is nigh as Satan
calls forth Armageddon!Copy !req
201. We must come to terms
with our fateCopy !req
202. as there is no stopping it!Copy !req
203. A historic crash
was reportedCopy !req
204. at the New York Stock Exchange
with the Dow Jones plungingCopy !req
205. to its lowest numbers ever.Copy !req
206. This crash eclipses
even the infamous Black Monday.Copy !req
207. Hey, you there!Copy !req
208. What's with the getup?Copy !req
209. - Uh—
- Is that prisoner outfitCopy !req
210. some type of fashion trend
or what?Copy !req
211. Yeah, it sure is...Copy !req
212. Either that, or maybe you
really are a prison escapee...Copy !req
213. Ah, man, you got me...Copy !req
214. Well, I guess that
would be ridiculous.Copy !req
215. Totally ridiculous...Copy !req
216. What kind of moron
would be that stupid?Copy !req
217. Anyway, people
have been rioting,Copy !req
218. so don't go wandering around.Copy !req
219. Thank you, officer!Copy !req
220. Get home safely!Copy !req
221. Hm?Copy !req
222. Attention all units—Copy !req
223. An escapee from Northport
Correctional FacilityCopy !req
224. has fled into the city.Copy !req
225. - Oh!
- The suspect's name...Copy !req
226. Axel Gilberto— age 23...Copy !req
227. Forwarding a picture
to you now.Copy !req
228. Aw, that son of a...!Copy !req
229. Crap...Copy !req
230. I see...Copy !req
231. It seems things are
moving even fasterCopy !req
232. than we originally anticipated.Copy !req
233. Not to mention,
they'll undoubtedly moveCopy !req
234. to destroy all evidenceCopy !req
235. if they pickup the notion
that we're on their trail.Copy !req
236. Secrecy and speed will be of the
utmost importance as we proceed.Copy !req
237. I understand.Copy !req
238. How is the analysis
of Hapna going?Copy !req
239. We're working on it,Copy !req
240. but it is proving to be
a difficult challenge.Copy !req
241. This is a work
of art created by a genius.Copy !req
242. Developing a cure
in such a short period of time,Copy !req
243. will be next to impossible.Copy !req
244. I agree.Copy !req
245. It sounds like
we're at the pointCopy !req
246. where the only viable optionCopy !req
247. is finding Dr. Skinner.Copy !req
248. That is correct.Copy !req
249. That last member of yours...Copy !req
250. what happened with him?Copy !req
251. He got away.Copy !req
252. But don't worry.Copy !req
253. We will find him, I promise.Copy !req
254. All right.Copy !req
255. If things go too far,Copy !req
256. those people might
very well be our last hope.Copy !req
257. Fugitive Axel Gilberto.Copy !req
258. Stop resisting
and surrender immediately.Copy !req
259. - That's, me...
- Huh?Copy !req
260. Game on!Copy !req
261. - Hey!
- Sorry!Copy !req
262. There he goes! That way!Copy !req
263. Target has been located.
He's at Central Station.Copy !req
264. Roger that. On my way.Copy !req
265. - Hold on...
- What?Copy !req
266. Now, it looks like
he's running somewhereCopy !req
267. way off the main road.Copy !req
268. Okay.
Time to greet our guest.Copy !req
269. Axel Gilberto!
Stop immediately!Copy !req
270. Huh?Copy !req
271. So, the guy just waltzedCopy !req
272. right into Central Station?Copy !req
273. Yeah. It's about time
he showed up.Copy !req
274. Elaina, run the data and predict
where he's headed to.Copy !req
275. Okay.Copy !req
276. I'm working on it now.Copy !req
277. I've calculated his course.
Forwarding now.Copy !req
278. Roger that.
Chris, do you copy?Copy !req
279. You're about to get
some coordinates.Copy !req
280. Head there first.
Then force him north-northwest.Copy !req
281. Permission to open fire?Copy !req
282. Permission's been granted.Copy !req
283. Thank you very much!Copy !req
284. Try not to hit anyone
this time!Copy !req
285. And don't blow anything up!Copy !req
286. Axel Gilberto!
Stop immediately!Copy !req
287. Uh...Copy !req
288. - Watch my back.
- You got it!Copy !req
289. Freeze!Copy !req
290. Show's over.
Put your hands up.Copy !req
291. Oh, I get it.Copy !req
292. You cut off my path
to get me to come up here,Copy !req
293. so you could trap me...Copy !req
294. - It worked, didn't it?
- Yeah it did.Copy !req
295. But don't I at least
get to see the face of the guyCopy !req
296. who's gonna kill me?Copy !req
297. Can I at least get a name?Copy !req
298. Douglas Hadine.Copy !req
299. Do me a favor
and put this on my gravestone—Copy !req
300. "Here lies a good man...Copy !req
301. shot in the back by the
cowardly Douglas Whatshisface."Copy !req
302. You're trying to provoke me.Copy !req
303. I'm not falling for it.Copy !req
304. You want to lure me into
some close quarters combat...Copy !req
305. Well, you got me.Copy !req
306. This is the end of the line
for you.Copy !req
307. Seeing as humans
aren't normally built to fly.Copy !req
308. You know there's no fun
in being normal...Copy !req
309. You wanna test that wisdom?Copy !req
310. Huh?Copy !req
311. Uh... Ugh!Copy !req
312. Hey, mister daredevil!
Look over here!Copy !req
313. You are so badass! Oh my god!Copy !req
314. I think that was, like,
the most awesomeCopy !req
315. street performance
I've ever seen!Copy !req
316. Uh, well...
I was...Copy !req
317. Actually, I was just
running from this guy.Copy !req
318. So, hey.Copy !req
319. Would you mind if we took
a selfie together?Copy !req
320. Oh, uh? Well, I, uh...Copy !req
321. Sweet!
Okay! Ready?Copy !req
322. 3, 2, 1...Copy !req
323. Smile!Copy !req
324. Huh?Copy !req
325. What the hell is this thing?Copy !req
326. Huh?Copy !req
327. Oh! Look, everyone...Copy !req
328. He's awake!Copy !req
329. Wanna know what's crazy?Copy !req
330. You've been out cold
the entire day!Copy !req
331. And since you didn't wake up,Copy !req
332. we kinda thought you were dead.Copy !req
333. I recognize you guys.Copy !req
334. You were in my dream...Copy !req
335. That wasn't a dream.Copy !req
336. Finally, we meet again.Copy !req
337. I seriously have no idea
what the hell is going on here.Copy !req
338. Who even are you people?Copy !req
339. We call ourselves...
Lazarus.Copy !req
340. Welcome aboard...Copy !req
341. Axel Gilberto.Copy !req
342. Huh?Copy !req
