Law & Order: Special Victims Unit 16x14

1. (male announcer) In the Criminal Justice System,

2. sexually based offenses are considered especially heinous.

3. In New York City, the dedicated detectives

4. who investigate these vicious felonies

5. are members of an elite squad

6. known as the Special Victims Unit.

7. These are their stories.

8. It's nice to see you, Olivia.

9. I'm glad you called me.

10. It's been a while.

11. Yeah, well, you know, with work and Noah-

12. Ooh, child in the house.

13. That changes everything.

14. You think?

15. How's it been?

16. You know, I mean, between my lack of sleep

17. and worrying about Noah and, you know,

18. trying to juggle my own schedule, it's been...

19. amazing.

20. I'm glad to hear that.

21. You know, he's just, he's not a baby anymore,

22. he's his own person.

23. He's, like, such a boy.

24. You know, last weekend we had this playdate

25. with these two adorable little girls and, you know,

26. they sat quietly,

27. they just had a little tea party with their dolls and,

28. you know, within a half an hour,

29. Noah had broken the tea pot and another one of their toys,

30. and then he fell off the couch.

31. He split his lip and then proceeded to pull

32. all of the books off of the shelf.

33. Sounds like a boy.

34. You know, I just can't help but worry sometimes...

35. at night, about how he'll grow up, with his history.

36. You're not reconsidering the adoption, are you?

37. Oh, God, no. No, no, no, no, no.

38. I've already started the paperwork.

39. You know, boys run around.

40. They break things.

41. They hurt themselves.

42. It's in all their D.N.A.

43. Move and I'll blow your head off.

44. You want to hide now. Let's see if you can handle this grenade.

45. (Carisi) Oh, look out!

46. (Fin) Damn.

47. - Who did that? - Behind you.

48. I'll kill him. Damn campers.

49. What's a camper?

50. Lazy creeps who just hide behind stuff.

51. Don't engage.

52. Wait until you to run by and then shoot you in the back.

53. They're all pieces of crap.

54. You were saying?

55. Enjoy the tournament.

56. This is awesome. This is better than Comic Con.

57. - Yeah. - Really?

58. Wait until you see the main event.

59. These teams practice eight hours a day.

60. They are not newbs.

61. Newbs?

62. Short for newbies.

63. Oh yeah, that's much shorter.

64. Just hold these two buttons down—

65. Go home, gamer girl.

66. What the hell is your problem?

67. You and your boss.

68. Raina Punjabi only

69. got this feminazi game made by being a slut.

70. Really? Like I've never heard that before?

71. You're one of those? Get out of here.

72. You want to kiss me?

73. Are we gonna kiss?

74. Get out of here.

75. I'm super scared.

76. Did your mom give you that hat?

77. Bye, have a nice day.

78. Yeah, baby. Your ass is grass. Take that, bitch.

79. It's like overgrown boys,

80. like, staring at a screen pressing buttons.

81. Isn't there a basketball game on or something?

82. You seen the Knicks lately?

83. Oh, hold up, there's that nanny, the, Leslie Connolly.

84. He's the one that babysat for the kids.

85. The two girls who stabbed their little sister.

86. Okay, he's the guy that drove all those Glasgow Man pictures?

87. He's turning it into a video game now?

88. Hey, Leslie? Hey.

89. A little too soon, isn't it?

90. Detectives. What can I say?

91. Trial created a lot of buzz.

92. Yeah, you're taking full advantage.

93. Well, the developers came to me.

94. They were gonna make it either way.

95. Want to give it a try?

96. Virtual reality.

97. Virtual reality?

98. It's like you're actually inside of the game.

99. I'm good.

100. Will you just watch the booth for a second?

101. I'll be right back

102. Get out.

103. You get out.

104. - We don't want you here. - Oh, no!

105. (male announcer) Here we see Murdersaurus.

106. Murdersaurus performing some long distance dentistry.

107. He's down to a sidearm.

108. As we see, Quickfire is currently in the lead,

109. but Lightning Bolts are catching up pretty fast.

110. You guys fans of Lightning Bolt's?

111. Yeah.

112. Amazonian Warrior, huh?

113. Is it true that you only have one breast?

114. Stop! Stop! Stop!

115. I got that kiss for you. You want a kiss.

116. And it looks like Team Probie's got Team Quickfire.

117. Can we give them a chant?

118. Yeah.

119. Let's give him a chant.

120. Kill them. Kill them. Kill them.

121. - Kill them. Kill them. - Ahhhh! Ahhhh! Nooo.

122. (announcer) And he just dropped the bomb!

123. He dropped the bomb! That's the last time.

124. He's never coming back.

125. I don't know. I mean, have you seen anyone do that?

126. Detectives, my co-worker thinks that someone's in trouble

127. in the ladies room.

128. (Carisi) Ohh!

129. Don't worry about it, guys. I got this.

130. Hey, you okay?

131. Yeah, I'm fine.

132. Okay, 'cause I'm a police officer.

133. - What happened? - These guys.

134. They just can't stand women in gaming.

135. What did they do to you?

136. The leveled up.

137. Okay, this girl—

138. Sarah Keller, 22.

139. (Fin) She works for Raina Punjabi, the game developer.

140. Okay, and this girl was attacked at, the what again?

141. The I.V.L. finals.

142. The International Video Game League.

143. It's like March Madness, but for video games.

144. I go every year. Nothing like this has ever happened.

145. But Sarah told me that the guys who did this

146. don't like women in gaming.

147. Well, in their world, a developer's like God,

148. and some guys aren't ready to give a girl that power.

149. Okay, does Sarah know her attacker?

150. No, well, maybe.

151. Carisi stayed behind to cull the security footage.

152. Hold on, you got Rollins and Carisi on this on a Sunday?

153. Never mind.

154. Okay, I'm not gonna understand a word that anybody

155. is saying about this, so, Fin,

156. why don't you come with me to interview Sarah,

157. and Rollins,

158. why don't you follow up with Carisi at the,

159. whatever it is.

160. Yeah, so there were two of them.

161. They were, like, total F.A.L.s.

162. Failures at life.

163. Yeah, they were, like, young, they were white but pale,

164. like, kind of skinny.

165. That's 80 percent of the crowd.

166. Okay, Sarah, so what did they do to you?

167. Um. They touched my breasts, kind of.

168. They, like, pushed me down.

169. I don't know, I fought them of and they ran.

170. You told Detective Rollins that this was personal,

171. - so you knew them. - Oh, no, no.

172. I didn't know them personally,

173. they'd just been by the booth a couple of times.

174. They were talking smack about my boss, Raina,

175. because her game's not popular with K.O.B.S. addicts.

176. - K.O.B.S.? - Kill or Be Slaughtered.

177. It's just another carbon copy FPS with new skins

178. but the same ten-year-old engine.

179. First person shooter.

180. A shoot-'em-up game.

181. Guys who play it hate games like Raina's.

182. - And why is that? - Amazonian Warriors

183. is nonviolent and nonstupid, so just,

184. like, the opposite of a K.O.B.S. addict.

185. Anyway, we launch on Tuesday.

186. They've been getting kind of crazy online.

187. Hey, Sarge, you guys got a sec?

188. Excuse us.

189. Yeah, okay.

190. This security footage,

191. it's like trying to find a geek in a geek stack.

192. Yeah, we got two suspects coming out of the ladies room.

193. One's wearing a baseball cap, the other's wearing a hoodie.

194. We only got partial views of their faces.

195. Well, you buy tickets to this on a computer, right?

196. Yeah, we're running the buyers' names

197. against the Sex Offenders Registry right now.

198. (Fin) That's not what this is.

199. These guys want Raina Punjabi out of the gaming world.

200. Just because she's a woman?

201. There's a lot of haters out there

202. that think she slept her way into the business.

203. Oh, right, right, she's engaged to that venture

204. capitalist, Steven Kaplan.

205. Okay, so because her fiancé has money,

206. that means she has no talent?

207. To them, and they want to take her down no matter what.

208. Then why attack Sarah?

209. Why not just go after Raina?

210. (Raina) Sarah told me she fought them off.

211. I put a reward on my website for anyone who catches these creeps.

212. She also tell you these creeps have a grudge

213. against you and your game?

214. There's nothing in the game for them to be angry about.

215. You can choose how you play.

216. You can wage peace or war.

217. Have a patriarchy or a matriarchy.

218. Be eco conscious or industrialized.

219. I know. I read on Kotaku that it's better the Civ 5

220. with the "Brave New World" expansion pack.

221. Okay, well, they guys that attacked Sarah weren't

222. as evolved as my partner.

223. Now look, anyone look familiar?

224. They all look familiar.

225. That's the gaming demo.

226. Unfortunately, there's always a few haters in the mix.

227. Anything specific?

228. Email threats,

229. posts to your websites or other gamer sites?

230. - Hacker attacks? - All the time,

231. but I can't be bothered with that right now.

232. I block it all out. We launch in two days.

233. Raina, everything all right?

234. Yeah, these detectives are here about Sarah.

235. This is my fiancé.

236. Steven Kaplan.

237. - Sarah's okay, right? - Yeah.

238. We wanted to give her the week off,

239. but it's too important a time.

240. It is, and Sarah doesn't want to miss any of it.

241. So you're not just an investor, you work here.

242. We're a team.

243. That's cool, but you did have an employee attacked.

244. And we take that seriously.

245. Our internal security's working on it.

246. Okay, we're gonna need them to give us any specifics

247. from the past few weeks.

248. Steven, I just don't have time for this right now.

249. Raina, I've got this. I'm sorry.

250. She's really under the gun.

251. This launch is a career changer.

252. We'll give you what we have.

253. (Carisi) Hey, Sarge.

254. The Fedarales are working with Raina Punjabi's security team.

255. But not with Raina.

256. Oh, no. this Amazonian Warriors rollout,

257. it's just like opening night of a movie.

258. I've been reading articles online.

259. I've got to tell you, I mean, is this Noah's future,

260. adolescent boys playing cyborg cowboys and Indians?

261. Don't tell Fin that.

262. Kill or Be Slaughtered is like a spiritual experience for him.

263. Yeah, well, I don't get it.

264. Well, you might not get this either.

265. Leslie Connolly, that Glasgow Man guy,

266. he might have something for us.

267. After the tournament I wanted some feedback on Glasgow Man,

268. so I checked a few gamer sites online.

269. Forums for players to rate games,

270. comment, fulminate, spew—

271. Yeah, I got that, Carisi. And?

272. Peep this thread.

273. "Amazonian Warriors bitch got what she deserved." Lovely

274. - Mm-hmm. - A lot of crap like that.

275. Guys puffing their e-chests out, high fiving.

276. - It could be anybody. - Hold on.

277. Give me a second.

278. D.M. me for more deets on what an

279. Amazonian Warrior's tits are like.

280. My boy and I copped a feel at the I.V.L.

281. That could be one of our guys. Did you D.M. him?

282. I don't want to talk to that guy,

283. that's why I came to you.

284. So I'm guessing that this message is untraceable.

285. That's why we got to go with Leslie here.

286. They know you. They trust you.

287. Which is why I'm deputizing you

288. an official C.I. of the NYPD

289. What? I don't want these guys knowing that I ratted them out.

290. These guys are criminals,

291. and if you don't cooperate with us,

292. we're gonna shut your game down and invoke the Son of Sam Law.

293. You can't make a profit from a crime.

294. So let's get those deets from your buddy.

295. Tell them that you were in the booth next to that girl.

296. That she was a complete bitch.

297. Okay, here goes.

298. - Now what. - Tell them that you doxxed

299. the girl that was sharing the booth with her.

300. Doxxing's when you publish personal information,

301. phone numbers, passwords, online.

302. See if he wants to hook up, talk about pranking her.

303. Tell him that you'll meet him there with a buddy.

304. That'll be me.

305. I got that too, Carisi.

306. Do I really need to be here?

307. Leslie, chill out.

308. Chill out?

309. Seriously?

310. Hey, Leslie.

311. Oh, what up?

312. This is my programmer, Carisi.

313. Call me Sonny, everybody does.

314. So you doxxed that other bitch?

315. I didn't see anything online.

316. Well, I'll send you a link,

317. but tell me, did that gamer slut, did she cry?

318. She was a whiney little bitch, man.

319. It's like, hello, what did you expect setting up a both

320. at a K.O.B.S. event, am I right?

321. Yep. Won't make that mistake again.

322. Yeah.

323. But look, I want those deets. Now, you promised me.

324. They were a pretty nice handful.

325. They were kind of small, but nice and perky.

326. Sweet. Sweet. You got any,

327. You know? He knows.

328. She got the message, all right? We good?

329. Oh, yeah, man, we're real good.

330. Oh, by the way, you're under arrest.

331. What?

332. Wrong move, player.

333. No, we were just kidding with that girl.

334. Nice try.

335. No reset button in the real world.

336. Okay, Sarah, do you recognize anybody?

337. Yeah, number three.

338. He groped me.

339. Okay, next window.

340. Anyone here?

341. Yeah, that slope-browed son of a bitch, number 2.

342. Great.

343. Have fun with that, counselor.

344. Great job, Sarah. We're gonna be able to charge them,

345. and the D.A.'ll be in touch.

346. Oh, but we'll be able to keep it quiet, right?

347. It's this big launch on Tuesday,

348. and if anything interferes with that,

349. Raina will, like, kill me.

350. Okay.

351. (Benson) The arrest went viral.

352. This is what Sarah was afraid of.

353. These comments, they're some pretty vicious stuff.

354. (Rollins) "Nice work, Gary and Zack, taking one for the team.

355. Hope they gave it to her real good"

356. They're treating the guys like heroes.

357. They're not.

358. (Carisi) Look at this video. This guy's got a ton of hits.

359. (computerized voice) Gary and Zack are sacrificial lambs

360. crucified on the altar of political correctness.

361. That slut Sarah got off easily.

362. Do not go where you're not wanted, bitches.

363. I hope we didn't just give the haters a recruiting tool.

364. Guys, unless there's a specific threat,

365. there's nothing we can do about it.

366. So you spend all day with a gun in your holster

367. and you still go home and play, like,

368. shoot-'em-up games after work.

369. Sometimes all night.

370. What am I missing here?

371. See, at work I got 1 P.P., I got Barba,

372. they get in my way.

373. At home it's just me and my clan. It's simple.

374. No gray.

375. Just shoot the other team.

376. Go get the bad guy.

377. All right.

378. Are you so addicted that you have to play

379. right at this second?

380. Come on, Fin, not at the dinner table.

381. I'm sorry, I just found a live stream of Raina.

382. She's being interviewed.

383. So Raina, people are commenting.

384. I'm gonna read one for you.

385. "There'd be no game

386. if Miss Punjabi hadn't banged the money man."

387. Steven and I are getting married.

388. So you'd agree that the criticisms of your work

389. are rooted in misogyny?

390. This guy's supposed to be on our side,

391. and he's still giving her a hard time.

392. Jack, you're roping me into a feminist debate.

393. I'm here to discuss my game.

394. - NYPD! - On the ground!

395. - Get on the ground!

396. (interviewer) Raina? Everything okay?

397. (police officer) Let's go.

398. Get down! Hands on your head.

399. What's going on?

400. What's happening?

401. (police officer) Secure that.

402. (interviewer) Raina?

403. Raina, are you okay?

404. You got three 911 calls from three different phones,

405. all saying there was a hostage crisis here.

406. Yeah, kids, weapons.

407. Did you trace the numbers yet?

408. Let me guess. Pay phone.

409. Internet phones.

410. You played right into their hoax.

411. Randy got SWATed.

412. These got a hundred ways to handle this situation.

413. They always use one, bang down the damn doors.

414. They're just doing their job, Fin.

415. - You okay? - Hold on, Steven. I'm fine.

416. Steven's just stuck outside.

417. Hey, can we get the fiancé up?

418. I'm not shocked by this. That's what these guys do.

419. They troll behind their computers

420. and make prank calls.

421. This was more than a prank call.

422. You could have been seriously hurt.

423. They're just trying to humiliate me,

424. and they got what they wanted.

425. Anonymous cowards.

426. - Raina, are you all right? - Everything is fine, Steven.

427. They just SWATed me in the middle of the interview.

428. Yeah, I saw.

429. Good for them, it's over now.

430. Stop saying that.

431. Do they know?

432. Do we know about what?

433. - Tell them or I will. - Steven, stop.

434. They sent her a threatening message

435. earlier today saying they want to see her on her knees

436. in front of the whole world,

437. and she got doxxed an hour ago.

438. That's how they knew this address.

439. And where was that posted?

440. A sub thread on Red Channet, tracking Raina, it's vile.

441. I told you not to read it.

442. I knew you'd overreact.

443. So I got doxxed. I'll move.

444. I'll change my passwords, my number-

445. Raina, do you understand what's going on?

446. - This is serious. - Yes.

447. The game is being launched tomorrow at noon.

448. That is the only thing that is going on.

449. Everything else is noise.

450. Okay, that sub thread,

451. I'm gonna need the link and the threatening message.

452. And if she doesn't come with us, you are.

453. I'll talk to her.

454. Okay, Raina got doxxed,

455. her personal info published, I get that,

456. but SWATed? Help me out here.

457. It's an anonymous call to 911 sending the SWAT team

458. to your home. These guys play dirty.

459. Even so, how is this SVU related?

460. Wait till you see these threats.

461. Sarge, this is Raina Punjabi

462. and her fiancé and business partner, Steven Kaplan.

463. Okay. Thank you for coming in.

464. I didn't exactly have a choice.

465. I understand some serious threats have been made.

466. They hacked your company's website?

467. We're back online.

468. - Anything specific? - Yeah.

469. They're threatening violence against Raina

470. and her female employees.

471. "Fair warning. If Raina Punjabi dares

472. "to go through with the launch tomorrow,

473. "we'll make sure that her raped and mutilated corpse

474. "is on the front page

475. of every feminist blog by next week."

476. That's a specific threat, not protected by free speech.

477. (Rollins) And here's another one of his threats,

478. all the pain that's coming to her.

479. Her game is derivative, mind numbing garbage.

480. She's a whore.

481. She used sex to get where she is,

482. and if she and her social justice warriors

483. don't leave gaming now,

484. we will make them.

485. (Rollins) And there are dozens of others like this.

486. Threatening rape. Threatening attacks

487. during the launch at the Birch Pavilion.

488. And we can't trace where these are coming from?

489. (Fin) They upload it through the dark net

490. just like the doxxing, so no.

491. Okay.

492. And the launch is scheduled for tomorrow?

493. At noon.

494. So would you consider postponing?

495. This isn't a little lecture I invited my friends to.

496. It is the launch event of an international game rollout.

497. It's being live streamed in 18 countries.

498. Every major gaming site is sending a rep.

499. Yeah, I understand that, but these are public death threats.

500. All the more reason why we can't postpone.

501. Ever since the SWATing went viral,

502. I'm being called the face of women in gaming.

503. Tomorrow I'm doing an interview on CNBC.

504. Then I'm ringing the opening NASDAQ bell.

505. (Fin) I mean, you can do all that,

506. but the launch itself, can't you tape it and stream it later.

507. If we do that, they've won.

508. I'm showing the world that I'm intimidated by cyber terrorists.

509. I won't make the same mistake Sony did.

510. It's better to be called a bitch than a coward.

511. (Steve) Raina.

512. Look, I came down here, I'm cooperating,

513. and I appreciate that you have a job to do.

514. So just so we're clear, you have officially warned me.

515. I accept all liability.

516. But I absolutely do not want a visible police presence.

517. No E.S.U., no bomb sniffing dogs.

518. Please.

519. I have to go home and get some sleep.

520. Thank you, detectives.

521. She's serious about her work, I get it.

522. She doesn't want to be compromised.

523. How many people are going to this thing tomorrow?

524. At least 500.

525. Raina may not be worried about herself,

526. but all the people in the audience?

527. Yeah, we can't let this thing happen.

528. I've got some friends at FDNY, I'm sure they

529. could find some violations, shut the Birch Pavilion down.

530. Raina's right, we do that,

531. the cyber terrorists win.

532. Guys, we have the resources to keep a low key presence.

533. Call the Birch Pavilion and coordinate it.

534. Anything on the pre-screen?

535. Nobody who bought a ticket with a credit card matches

536. any of the online profiles we managed to trace.

537. It's a waste of time.

538. Anyone up to no good is not using a credit card.

539. Okay, so let's focus on what we can do. Spread out.

540. Watch hands and eyes.

541. Stay on the radio.

542. Carisi, what's it looking like?

543. We got a bunch of monitors with grainy footage.

544. You guys ever think about upgrading your security systems?

545. Who are you, Steven Spielberg?

546. We're here as a courtesy.

547. Come on. We got the situation under control.

548. 200 events a year in this place, we haven't lost anybody yet.

549. Well, let's not break that streak.

550. (woman) Hunt.

551. Build.

552. Forage.

553. Create.

554. They say history repeats itself,

555. but now it's up to you to get it right.

556. Find the Amazonian Warrior in you.

557. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage,

558. Raina Punjabi.

559. Good afternoon.

560. I am Raina Punjabi.

561. I'm guessing most of you already knew that.

562. Thank you for coming.

563. I am very excited to share Amazonian Warriors

564. with all of you here today

565. and with all of you streaming this online.

566. Nearly two years in the making,

567. this civilization building strategy game

568. allows you to control a land of your own creation.

569. The goal, to get it right this time.

570. - Yeah.

571. - What's that? - Raina, get down.

572. Guys, where are those coming from?

573. How can we change the mistakes of our past

574. to create a more perfect world?

575. (Fin) Laser pointer. Row five, left side.

576. Hey.

577. Hey, you can't do that.

578. (Rollins) Watch me. Come on.

579. - The game is collaborative, team building,

580. encouraging cooperation and group problem solving.

581. Three more.

582. I see. Copy that.

583. NYPD, you want to hand me that?

584. - I didn't know it was on. - I'm sure you didn't.

585. Let's go, you're out. You too.

586. You're out of here as well.

587. - Wow, laser pointers.

588. You know, my mom's cat loves those.

589. As I was saying, the game is collaborative,

590. offering multiple points of view so that the player is—

591. (voice of speaker) Bitches will die.

592. No social justice in gaming.

593. Now, you all will be destroyed.

594. Carisi, what are you seeing?

595. Someone hacked into the lighting board.

596. The security system too.

597. Tell me you got an override. Come on, let's go.

598. Come on, move over.

599. Be calm. Be calm. Be calm.

600. Police. Remain calm.

601. Raina? Raina?

602. - Raina? - Who's got eyes on Raina?

603. Who's got eyes?

604. We lost her.

605. Where's our principle?

606. I got nothing.

607. - Miss Punjabi, this way. - Hey, hey. What happened?

608. - Her mic's still on. - Where are we going?

609. - Carisi, anything? - I got her. I got her.

610. She's with a security guard in the back hallway.

611. - Hey, let go of me. - Back exit.

612. Back exit.

613. (Carisi) Police, stop!

614. Get up. Come on.

615. Hey.

616. - He had Raina. - I was trying to help her.

617. - Where is she? - I don't know.

618. Wrong answer.

619. Detective, she's up there.

620. Shut up, bitch.

621. Keep your mouth shut, or you're done.

622. Do you hear me?

623. Game on, NYPD.

624. Where's that coming from.

625. Track it, Rollins. Track it now.

626. - What, this wasn't my idea. - Do you think that matters?

627. You're an accomplice to kidnapping.

628. He said we were just gonna grief her.

629. Smoke bombs. Laser pointers.

630. - Things like that. - And the kidnapping.

631. No one told me about that.

632. Does no one have a name?

633. A user name, Acid Rain,

634. - but I've never met him. - What did he say exactly?

635. He said to bring Raina out the back exit.

636. What, so they left you here?

637. They threw her in a van? What?

638. I didn't know that they were gonna—

639. - What are you a patsy? - Yeah, God forbid something

640. happens to Raina, you'll be looking at murder charges.

641. If you know something, say something right now.

642. I saw the van. It was white.

643. License number.

644. Now, NYPD detectives were aware of possible threats

645. and were inside the Birch Pavilion

646. at the time of the kidnapping but were unable—

647. That was the commissioner.

648. Tell me something's popped on this white van.

649. It was stolen from a garage yesterday.

650. Security cameras there were blacked out.

651. The license plate went out right after the kidnapping,

652. and Port Authority cameras haven't seen it at any bridges

653. - or tunnels. - So it's still in Manhattan.

654. What about a phone, are we tracking it?

655. No luck. They must have removed the battery.

656. I got a tip. White cargo van at an abandoned factory.

657. Plates match. Uni's are on the way.

658. You two, go.

659. Open.

660. (police officer) Clear.

661. All right, let's get C.S.U. in here.

662. Let's comb the interior.

663. Amanda.

664. Look at this. Here we go.

665. That's from Kill or Be Slaughtered.

666. That's a cyborg logo.

667. They left that for us.

668. All right, we need C.S.U. down here too.

669. We got something.

670. I mean that's her blouse.

671. And that's blood.

672. They left us a video.

673. Please don't do this. Please don't do this.

674. Ahh.

675. Level completed.

676. This is a game to them.

677. Okay, so what's the next level?

678. Fin.

679. Please.

680. - Shut up, bitch. - You don't have to do this.

681. Shut up, bitch!

682. Say another word, I'm gonna kill you. Do you understand?

683. Let's just do this.

684. - Ready. - Freaking go already.

685. - Go. - You're up.

686. (computerized voice) All you bitches, you're on notice.

687. So what do you mean you have no idea how the van

688. got onto your property?

689. Yeah, okay. You do that.

690. How are you doing, Mr. Kaplan?

691. I tried to tell her.

692. You tried to tell her. She just wouldn't listen.

693. Hey, Sarge, I got something.

694. What is it?

695. You know, Mr. Kaplan, why don't you have a seat,

696. and we'll be with you in a moment.

697. This link was just uploaded to Red Channet.

698. This is what happens to smug bitches who mess with gamers.

699. - We warned you.

700. Hey, gamer girl.

701. Please don't.

702. Where is this coming from?

703. All we know is it's streaming live.

704. I realize now that gaming is no place for females.

705. So all you bitches should get out now.

706. You are not wanted, and you are not safe.

707. I also have a message for Steven Kaplan,

708. I never loved you.

709. I only slept with you so you'd back my game.

710. I am a slut, and I am a liar.

711. And this is live too?

712. No, uploaded to Red Channet.

713. - No, I don't. - Hold up,

714. this upload is geotagged.

715. Look at it, South Shore, Staten Island.

716. It looks like a residential address.

717. - Yeah, yeah, I'm on it. - Hold on.

718. They've been using the dark net this whole time,

719. and now they leave a trail?

720. This is a trap.

721. They're playing a game.

722. We got to play too.

723. All right, the house belongs to Mrs. Marissa Rossi,

724. public school art teacher she lives alone.

725. Okay, should we call E.S.U.?

726. We got to go easy, we don't want them to set us up

727. to SWAT somebody.

728. Just go.

729. (Rollins) Hey, come on.

730. - Can I help you? - NYPD, Mrs. Rossi?

731. - Yes, that's me. - Are you here alone?

732. - Wait, what's going on?

733. - Are you here alone? - Yes, why?

734. Because a woman was kidnapped,

735. and her abductors were here in this house tonight.

736. Oh, no, no. There must be some mistake.

737. Ma'am, have you been at home here all night?

738. I got home an hour ago from my book club.

739. - Okay. - Does anybody else live here?

740. - No, just me. - Who's this then?

741. That's my husband but he passed.

742. No, the kid. The kid.

743. That's my son, Anthony.

744. - He's away at college. - Does he play video games?

745. - Yes. Why? - Where?

746. Where does he play?

747. There's the camera.

748. They raped her here.

749. Gun safe.

750. Where are the guns?

751. He's a good boy.

752. He's shy.

753. You've made a mistake.

754. No, Mrs. Rossi, we haven't made a mistake.

755. We found evidence of sexual assault in your basement,

756. and your son's computer's been logged into an account

757. that has been threatening Raina Punjabi for weeks.

758. No.

759. "I would love to gouge her eyes out with a rusty spoon."

760. He didn't write this.

761. One of his friends, maybe,

762. - but not my Anthony. - Which friends.

763. One of them from the video games, you know?

764. The way they talk to each other.

765. Anthony says it's just boy talk, but he's not like that.

766. He's from a good home.

767. We raised him better.

768. Hey, I believe that, Mrs. Rossi.

769. I really do.

770. I grew up ten minutes drive from you, just off of Arden, yeah.

771. And I'm sure that Anthony is a good kid,

772. but somewhere along the line Anthony got confused.

773. He tried to hurt someone without actually thinking

774. about the actual person at the other end of those messages,

775. and that usually comes from a place of pain,

776. a feeling like, like you don't matter.

777. Now, does that sound like Anthony?

778. It's my husband's passing.

779. It was very hard on him.

780. Yeah.

781. Even if he wrote these messages...

782. he would never want...

783. to rape...

784. or kill.

785. He would never.

786. Of course he wouldn't.

787. I mean, this probably started as a joke, you know.

788. His friends' idea just got out of hand,

789. but what we want now is for this to end peacefully,

790. and that's what you want too, isn't it?

791. It took a while, but Mrs. Rossi came to Jesus.

792. Her husband was a gun buff.

793. - Two pistols, 20 gauge shotgun. - Great.

794. Fin, do you think they're still following a gamer script?

795. Rape is a mod in level 16 of K.O.B.S.

796. Hold on, so they kidnap and rape, and it's a game.

797. It's like a user hack of the game,

798. but once they make that move,

799. there's only one path you can go.

800. - Which is what? - Kill or be slaughtered.

801. Rollins. Raina?

802. Yes, it's Raina.

803. They've got me in a garage,

804. and I think they're gonna kill me.

805. I need your help.

806. Raina, are you using your phone?

807. No, I stole one of theirs.

808. Please hurry.

809. Do you know where you are?

810. They're holding me in a garage near Manhattan Bridge.

811. There's a baseball field across the street.

812. Okay, hang tight, we will be there as soon as we can.

813. - Oh, no. They're coming back. - Okay, we got to go now.

814. This is the final level of the game.

815. They call the cops

816. and when they rush in to save her, they attack.

817. This could be an ambush.

818. Call E.S.U., tell them we'll meet them there.

819. If this is a set up they're watching us from somewhere.

820. Yeah, like up there.

821. We're on it.

822. Okay.

823. Any communication from the inside?

824. No, nothing since the call,

825. and we can't see inside. What do you know?

826. Three perps, two pistols, and a 20 gauge.

827. If they are inside.

828. If?

829. We think it may be a setup.

830. (SWAT officer) Shots fired.

831. All right, setup or no, we got to go.

832. Flash bang, go now!

833. (SWAT officer) NYPD.

834. Nobody move.

835. NYPD, get down. Let us see your hands.

836. - Gun. She's got a gun. - Don't shoot.

837. - She's got a gun. - Don't shoot.

838. (Benson) Hold your fire. Hold your fire.

839. I said drop it! Drop it!

840. - I can't. - Drop it!

841. Okay, she can't, it's taped to her wrists.

842. Don't shoot.

843. Raina.

844. Raina.

845. Down!

846. Coming out of the speaker right here.

847. - Okay.

848. (police officer) False alarm.

849. Okay.

850. Hey, just hang in there.

851. You good?

852. Hey, hey, put the gun down.

853. Hands up.

854. I never meant for this to go so far.

855. Brandon and Pierce made me.

856. They're crazy. They totally lost it.

857. - It's freaking me out. - Don't even, Anthony.

858. They don't know what's real and what's a game.

859. I geotagged that video from my mom's house

860. so you could find us.

861. Ah.

862. I'm sure she's real proud.

863. Drop it!

864. Recoil.

865. Not like shooting in a video game, huh?

866. Actually, it's exactly the same.

867. All right, you need to think really carefully about

868. - what you're doing right now. - Don't talk, officer.

869. Prepare to be slaughtered.

870. Come out. Drop the gun or I'll kill him now.

871. Game over. Drop the gun.

872. Come on.

873. Okay.

874. There's 50 cops surrounding this building.

875. All for that skank, Raina.

876. Isn't being a whore a crime, huh?

877. - You should arrest her. - Drop the gun.

878. Shut up, bitch! You're just like Raina.

879. Spitting in our faces.

880. She took away the one thing that we had.

881. You heard what the lady said. Drop the gun.

882. Move, and I'll blow your head off!

883. Okay.

884. This ain't a game. Drop that gun.

885. Okay. Okay.

886. Got it.

887. Go on, get on the ground.

888. Get your hands up over your head.

889. You all right?

890. What, were you camping back there?

891. I know.

892. Bad form but effective.

893. So 20 years of gaming,

894. or whatever it is you do with that controller,

895. finally paid off.

896. See, I know the difference between

897. video games and reality.

898. Those guys didn't.

899. So this is gonna be a big I.A.B. thing now?

900. You're on administrative duty for a few days.

901. No, no need to give up your gun and shield.

902. This was a good shoot.

903. After what they did to Raina, there was no gray area.

904. I just went and got the bad guy.

905. We both know that it's never that easy.

906. We do the best we can.

907. Go home.

908. One of them took a plea, the other wants to go to trial.

909. Will Raina have to testify?

910. I don't think she's up to facing them in court.

911. You'll have time, Raina.

912. I'll be fine.

913. Women in gaming, what did I expect?

914. You didn't deserve this.

915. Whatever.

916. I'm out.

917. You said if you gave up, they'd win.

918. They already did.
