1. male announcer: In the criminal justice system,

2. sexually based offenses are considered especially heinous.

3. In New York City, the dedicated detectives

4. who investigate these vicious felonies

5. are members of an elite squad

6. known as the Special Victims Unit.

7. These are their stories.

8. Miss?

9. Clear.

10. Clear.

11. We got a pulse.

12. Sweetheart.

13. Can you tell me your name.

14. (Benson) Madison?

15. Madison.

16. Who are you?

17. I'm Sergeant Benson,

18. and this is Detective Amaro.

19. Where am I?

20. (Benson) You're gonna be okay, sweetie.

21. Do you remember what happened to you?

22. No.

23. Did something happen to me?

24. They found me in an alley, in a suitcase?

25. I don't remember that.

26. So, Madison, what's the last thing that you do remember?

27. Coming to the city to see Wicked.

28. I live in Ronkonkoma.

29. And you came by yourself?

30. I was supposed to meet a girlfriend.

31. (Benson) Supposed to?

32. So you didn't?

33. Okay, did you end up seeing the show?

34. I was coming from my uncle's in the Upper West Side.

35. I took a cab.

36. My mom doesn't like me taking the subway.

37. Well, we'll need your uncle's information and your friend's.

38. I don't want to get them in trouble with my mom.

39. So where is she?

40. Atlantic City,

41. with some girlfriends.

42. Oh, god.

43. She's gonna be so mad at me.

44. Anonymous 911 call comes in at 3:00 A.M. from a payphone.

45. Somebody wanted this found.

46. (Nolan) I respond. I find her unconscious

47. in a half opened suitcase.

48. The suitcase looks tourist shop generic.

49. You call CSU yet?

50. Yeah, four times already.

51. When they get here,

52. have them run it for DNA and prints.

53. My guess, she's underage.

54. She OD's while partying at a club,

55. and they dump her.

56. Bright lights, big city, right?

57. You canvass? Witnesses?

58. Yeah, late. Cold night. Windows were closed.

59. No one saw or heard anything.

60. Okay, we're near the tunnels.

61. We'll check the traffic cam footage.

62. Hold on.

63. What's up, Liv?

64. (Benson) So the last thing that Madison remembers

65. is leaving her uncle's apartment.

66. And now he's not picking up the phone.

67. So find out why he hasn't noticed

68. that his niece is missing.

69. Okay, we're headed over there.

70. Did you tell your uncle that you were

71. going to Times Square by yourself?

72. He got me the tickets.

73. Okay, so you got in the cab.

74. Then what?

75. He locked the doors.

76. He was driving like a lunatic.

77. Well, can you tell us anything about him,

78. his age, ethnicity?

79. Middle Eastern, maybe.

80. I'm sorry.

81. I was trying to text my friend,

82. 'cause I was freaked out.

83. Oh, my god, my phone.

84. Do you guys have it?

85. (Benson) Madison, when they found you,

86. you had no purse, you had no clothes.

87. You don't remember how that happened?

88. The driver— I remember now.

89. He—

90. He pulled over,

91. and he climbed into the back,

92. and he made me take some pills,

93. and after that, I don't know.

94. We're gonna need you to do a rape kit?

95. A rape kit?

96. Why?

97. Because somebody assaulted you, sweetie.

98. We need to find out who?

99. But I wouldn't recognize him.

100. Okay, how about we take it one step at a time?

101. NYPD!

102. (Matt) Hey.

103. What's going on?

104. We're here about your niece Madison.

105. Madison?

106. She's up in the guest room, asleep.

107. Can we come in, Mr. Baker?

108. Sure.

109. Madison?

110. Oh, a little wake and bake there, chief?

111. That's—that's not mine.

112. That belongs to a friend.

113. Mm-hmm.

114. She's—she's in here.

115. She's sleeping.

116. You check on her last night?

117. The door was closed.

118. Madison?

119. Madison?

120. Wait. What?

121. I thought she came home.

122. When's the last time you saw her?

123. 6:00.

124. We were supposed to go see a show.

125. Wicked?

126. But, um...

127. But she said she had a friend

128. that was dying to see it.

129. A friend. Who?

130. I don't know.

131. These the tickets?

132. Wait.

133. She didn't go?

134. Where is she?

135. (Fin) Mercy Hospital.

136. What happened to her? Is she okay?

137. What, now you're worried about your niece?

138. Where were you last night?

139. Uh...

140. A meat market.

141. I got home at about 1:00, okay?

142. Her backpack was here, the door was closed.

143. Any way we can verify that?

144. When he wakes up, you can ask him.

145. Look, guys, clearly I screwed up, okay?

146. Don't tell my sister.

147. Okay, man.

148. Madison's friend you're talking about,

149. is this her boyfriend?

150. (Matt) I have no idea.

151. Look, it's not like she's chatty with me or anything, okay?

152. She's 15.

153. She's on her cell phone all the time,

154. just texting.

155. You know what?

156. Go wake your friend up.

157. We'll wait out here.

158. So where were we?

159. Madison lied to her uncle.

160. Didn't even take the theater tickets.

161. And that taxi driver story.

162. I mean, speeding through Times Square after 6:00?

163. You'd make better time on a goat.

164. (Benson) Well, something happened to her.

165. The tox screen shows alcohol,

166. Ambien, and Xanax in her system.

167. Now, the rape kit didn't turn up any DNA,

168. but it did find condom lubricant.

169. So this is what, a hookup gone bad?

170. Bad enough to dump a body in a suitcase?

171. (Benson) Carisi, check her social media.

172. Facebook, Instagram,

173. Twitter, all of it.

174. On it.

175. Cell records coming in.

176. Madison was texting constantly

177. from the Upper West to the Howell Hotel in Tribeca

178. where her cell goes dead at 2:00 A.M.

179. Okay, we know who she was texting?

180. Yeah, I'll run the number.

181. I'll save you the trouble.

182. She posted this on her Instagram account

183. yesterday afternoon.

184. (Benson) Who's that?

185. (Carisi) Scott Russo.

186. (Fin) Pretty boy actor?

187. Yeah, actor/painter/philosopher.

188. In his free time, he's trying to end climate change.

189. And he is in town this week at the Edgefest Film Festival

190. at the Howell Hotel in Tribeca.

191. I would love to take a run at the renaissance man.

192. Let's get Madison's side of the story first.

193. Mom just got to the hospital.

194. And let's keep her out of the conversation.

195. (woman) My daughter's been assaulted.

196. I'm staying with her.

197. Madison?

198. We saw you're Instagram account.

199. The friend that you told your uncle

200. you were going to see

201. was Scott Russo, wasn't it?

202. Scott Russo?

203. My daughter's obsessed with him.

204. She's seen Caspian Sea ten times.

205. How did you even get his number?

206. We DM'd each other on Twitter.

207. He lured you to the city?

208. How long has this been going on?

209. What did he do?

210. He left you for dead in a suitcase.

211. (Madison) Scott wouldn't hurt me.

212. Okay.

213. Tell us what you remember.

214. We know you went to his hotel.

215. Yeah.

216. There was a party at the bar.

217. Scott texted that he could get me on the guest list.

218. And then what happened?

219. Nothing.

220. He got me a drink.

221. Did you go to his room?

222. I don't know.

223. They were giving out cocktails at the party.

224. I guess they were stronger than I realized.

225. I blacked out, and next thing I remember

226. is waking up in the hospital.

227. Oh, Madison, my god.

228. She is 15 years old.

229. I don't care if he's a movie star.

230. Just arrest him.

231. Namaste.

232. Can I help you?

233. You know a girl named Madison Baker?

234. Who?

235. She's the 15-year-old girl

236. that you were trading selfies with yesterday.

237. - Namaste. - Namaste.

238. She's a fan, right?

239. She texted me, and I responded.

240. Is flirting a crime?

241. You see her last night?

242. Celebrity, fantasy, and expectations,

243. they're all part of my— my art project.

244. Did you see her last night or not?

245. I met her.

246. You get her drinks, or...

247. Hey, they were giving drinks away for free.

248. All right, that's not on me.

249. (Fin) So you did have a drink with her.

250. After Caspian Sea, that's my fanbase, young girls.

251. There's a bunch of 'em in the lobby right now.

252. Some of them always manage to slip under the velvet rope.

253. Hey, look, man.

254. Nobody's looking to hang you here.

255. We get it. Madison's hot.

256. Guy could make a bad choice.

257. (Scott) Whoa, whoa, whoa.

258. A guy, right?

259. Not Scott Russo.

260. Why?

261. What is she saying?

262. Well, tell us your side.

263. What happened?

264. brought her up to the room, something like that?

265. No, we had some drinks, and we talked.

266. I left her in the booth.

267. What time was that?

268. I don't wear a watch, man.

269. But look, people saw me go.

270. Like who?

271. Industry people, hipsters.

272. Skye Adderson.

273. He's my co-star.

274. He can vouch for me.

275. Scott, is everything all right?

276. Yeah, we're cool.

277. This is Lydia, my manager.

278. Tell—tell 'em that you were at the party last night.

279. I was there.

280. What's going on?

281. We're just asking him about a girl

282. he took a selfie with last night.

283. He took a lot of selfies

284. with waiters, press, fans.

285. He's a star, after all.

286. Yeah, well, this fan was 15.

287. And Scott was sexting with her.

288. She had a rough night.

289. (Scott) Lydia, I just talked to her.

290. All right? That's all.

291. (Lydia) Okay.

292. Look, Scott has a lot of cyberstalkers,

293. and overwrought admirers,

294. but whatever this is,

295. he had nothing to do with it.

296. Then he won't mind answering

297. a few more questions.

298. Sure, sure.

299. Just let me— let me film it.

300. This is not a good time.

301. We have a satellite tour in 15 minutes.

302. Listen, why don't you just email me your questions?

303. Thanks, fellas.

304. You like him for this?

305. He might have nailed that girl,

306. but dumping her body in a suitcase?

307. I got self-absorbed idiot, not psycho.

308. Well, he said he left her in the bar.

309. Let's go to tape.

310. So you want footage from last night.

311. We can get a warrant, but usually hotels work with us.

312. (man) We already did.

313. Do—do you guys even talk to each other?

314. A detective came in late last night

315. and pulled the footage.

316. The hallway, the bar,

317. the elevator, the lobby.

318. I mean, he took the whole hard drive.

319. An NYPD detective?

320. Yeah.

321. What precinct?

322. Shouldn't you know that?

323. You got footage of this guy?

324. I might be able to get some footage

325. of him walking out,

326. but I'm gonna need some IDs.

327. (man) Satellite feed starts in two minutes, folks.

328. Two minutes.

329. (Carisi) Seriously? Their co-star Catalina Soren.

330. Where have you been?

331. I don't want you talking to those detectives.

332. I'm fine.

333. How's my favorite client?

334. Love you.

335. (Lydia) We're on in two. Come on.

336. I know Russo's a multitasker,

337. but impersonating NYPD,

338. stealing security footage, dumping a body.

339. It takes a village.

340. (woman) Skye! Skye! We love you!

341. (Scott) Hold up.

342. Russo army.

343. (Scott) Skye, come here.

344. You know this guy.

345. (Skye) Whoa. Hey.

346. You want one?

347. (Scott) We all just went up on Instagram.

348. that he was NYPD.

349. He took all the surveillance footage,

350. the key card logs.

351. Thorough.

352. Thoughtful.

353. Stupid.

354. If you can't get 'em for the crime,

355. you can get 'em for the cover-up.

356. This is Hollywood on the Hudson.

357. Russo's a star.

358. He picks up an underage girl,

359. she OD's in his bed,

360. he makes some calls,

361. goes away.

362. Then why leave the last part to chance?

363. You mean kill her?

364. You're watching too many movies.

365. You talked to the girl twice,

366. and she hasn't accused him yet?

367. Either she was paid off, or she's obsessed.

368. (Benson) Look, she's 15 years old.

369. She had drugs in her system.

370. Maybe she really doesn't remember her.

371. Well, can you get us a warrant

372. for Russo's cell phone, his room?

373. I can get you phone records,

374. but a warrant for an actual phone

375. after that Supreme Court decision, not yet.

376. Give me someone who puts them together

377. after the party—

378. Look, there were hundreds of people at that party, the hotel.

379. They couldn't have gotten to them all.

380. Go door-to-door.

381. Russo did say his co-star Skye

382. saw him leave the party.

383. So start there.

384. (photographer) That's great, Scott. Give me some integrity.

385. Oh, beautiful.

386. Chin up a little.

387. Fantastic.

388. - Not very good. - Camera loves you.

389. (Carisi) Hey, Skye, can we talk to you for a minute?

390. (Skye) Whoa.

391. We're in the middle of a photo shoot.

392. He may have witnessed a rape.

393. Oh, I didn't witness any rape.

394. (Lydia) Skye.

395. No, no, it's okay, Lydia.

396. Is this—

397. this is about that girl, right?

398. Because, you know, if somebody did something to her,

399. maybe—maybe I can help.

400. Thank you.

401. You see her at the party with Russo?

402. Yeah, in a booth.

403. She seem okay to you?

404. She seemed a little young to be at a party like that.

405. She was drinking.

406. But that's not Scott.

407. I mean, Edgefest is sponsored by Aquavit.

408. Well, here's the thing, Skye.

409. Russo told us that you could vouch for him,

410. that he left before the girl did.

411. Because he did.

412. Right, Skye?

413. No, no, not exactly.

414. Lydia, I just played a lawyer.

415. I can't lie to the police.

416. He was there with her,

417. and then I was talking to a producer,

418. and I turned around to see if he would come over,

419. and he was gone.

420. What time was this?

421. Around midnight.

422. Did you see the girl leave?

423. No, no.

424. She was gone too.

425. Thanks.

426. (Benson) Who's arresting Scott Russo?

427. No, it's a preview for his next movie.

428. It's called Falsely Accused.

429. (male announcer) Innocence betrayed.

430. Justice denied.

431. - A man alone...

432. This is an egregious miscarriage of justice, your honor!

433. (announcer) Against the system that's betrayed him.

434. Coming soon.

435. He's charged with a rape/murder he didn't commit,

436. and Skye Adderson plays the legal aid attorney

437. who saves him.

438. And?

439. And they're both in the city promoting this movie.

440. Russo's accused of assaulting a fan.

441. That'll get you trending.

442. She overdosed.

443. Yeah, but now she can't remember anything.

444. They could all be playing us.

445. This fits Russo's whole meta-meme thing to a T.

446. Guys, I don't care if they're doing it for publicity.

447. Somebody had sex with a 15-year-old girl

448. and left her for dead in an alley in a suitcase.

449. That's a crime.

450. Are we anywhere on that?

451. Yeah, we talked to two waiters.

452. They said they saw Russo

453. doing body shots off of Madison.

454. Okay.

455. Can anybody put them in the hallway, in the elevator?

456. Did anybody see them leave together?

457. Skye may or may not have.

458. Tried to thread the needle on that.

459. (Benson) Check Snaptrends, Gramfeed.

460. Put a plate on that entire hotel block from 10:00 P.M.

461. to 4:00 A.M.

462. There were hundreds of people there.

463. Somebody must have posted a selfie,

464. a video, something.

465. Hold up. Google alert.

466. Somebody did.

467. Turn on LMZ.

468. (man) Hey, you all know about suitcase girl.

469. (man) The underage partier who ended up

470. naked in a suitcase in a Tribeca alley?

471. Yeah, well, even though Scott Russo denied

472. ever hooking up with her.

473. Surveillance footage shows them in a lip lock

474. at the Howell Hotel.

475. (man) And when it came time to call it a night,

476. they pulled the old "I'll leave first" play.

477. (man) Yeah, yeah.

478. (man) Scott, come on, man.

479. Don't mess with underage girls.

480. And don't mess with LMZ.

481. Now we know who impersonated NYPD to get that footage.

482. I'll call Barba.

483. (man) And don't mess with LMZ.

484. (man) Bad boy Scott Russo caught in a sexting scandal.

485. (man) Catalina, is he guilty?

486. (Catalina) I just can't believe

487. Scott would do something like this.

488. But if he did, there's no defense.

489. (Carisi) Scott Russo.

490. Show's over, Scott.

491. Show's over, Scott.

492. Show's over, Scott.

493. Show's over, Scott.

494. Show's over, Scott.

495. Show's over, Scott.

496. Hey.

497. You want to tweet the press,

498. you want to blow up Twitter,

499. knock yourself out.

500. But you're looking at 15 to 20

501. for rape and assault.

502. What, for a crime I didn't commit?

503. I just made this movie.

504. It ends with me getting a public apology

505. from the NYPD.

506. (Amaro) Well, this isn't a movie, Scott.

507. While you were at the gallery,

508. we executed a search warrant on your hotel room.

509. I know.

510. Lydia called me, freaking out.

511. "Let 'em search," I said.

512. Girl was never in there.

513. CSU's still going over your carpet,

514. your drain, your bedspread,

515. but they already found Ambien and Xanax in your bathroom,

516. which match the drugs in Madison's system.

517. Oh, and condoms that match the one used by the rapist.

518. (Scott) Yeah, those condoms are in the hotel amenity basket.

519. You said you left the girl at the party.

520. You lied.

521. There's video of her coming up to your room.

522. You're opening the door.

523. All right, look, I invited her to the party.

524. We had some drinks.

525. I find out she was underage,

526. so I excused myself.

527. She followed me to my room, right?

528. If you'd watched the rest of the playback on that video,

529. you would've seen that I shut the door on her.

530. Yeah, well, we don't have the rest of that video,

531. and we may never be able to get it.

532. (Amaro) You know, you tell that story on the stand,

533. I don't care how good an actor you think you are,

534. there's not a jury in the world that buys it.

535. A jury?

536. Hello?

537. Somebody had sex

538. with a drunk and drugged 15-year-old girl,

539. wheeled the body into an alley.

540. You're in a lot of trouble here, man.

541. Wow.

542. You guys actually think that I did this.

543. Okay, okay.

544. This has to stay on the DL, okay?

545. She's married.

546. Who's married?

547. Catalina Soren.

548. Your co-star?

549. Yeah, I did the right thing here, all right?

550. I turned the 15-year-old down.

551. But Catalina's room is adjoining mine.

552. And she was in my suite all night long.

553. Okay, well, we're gonna need to talk to Catalina.

554. I know, but here's the thing.

555. She's on a 19-hour flight to New Zealand

556. to shoot two cycles of the Catalyst trilogy,

557. and the thing is...

558. Ugh.

559. Her husband's directing it.

560. (Fin) Mr. Russo's manager.

561. Not another word, Scott.

562. He's done talking

563. until we get our lawyer in here.

564. Everything's gonna be okay.

565. You're safe, baby.

566. And he invokes.

567. Okay, so we'll try to find the actress.

568. Do we have enough to charge?

569. Charge, sure.

570. Make the case, no.

571. The drugs and the condoms are circumstantial.

572. What does the girl say?

573. Last time we spoke to Madison,

574. she said she didn't recall going to his hotel room.

575. Talk to her again.

576. We all know what Scott Russo did.

577. Why isn't he rotting in a jail cell?

578. We want to make sure our case is airtight

579. before we bring him in.

580. So he's free to go where he wants,

581. attack another child.

582. I'm not a child.

583. And he didn't attack me.

584. I followed him to his room,

585. because I wanted to be with him.

586. And were you?

587. Madison.

588. If he didn't attack you and it was consensual,

589. then you need to tell us that.

590. He didn't force me.

591. We're soul mates.

592. I've been dreaming that this would happen.

593. That he would fall in love with me.

594. So I went to his bathroom

595. and took some of his pills just to calm my nerves.

596. Madison.

597. Miss Baker, please.

598. Madison, go on.

599. I guess the pills were strong,

600. or maybe it was the cocktails at the party, but—

601. a lot's fuzzy.

602. Madison.

603. Do you remember having sex with Scott Russo?

604. Yes.

605. He was so gentle.

606. That's how I know that he would never hurt me.

607. Okay.

608. We will be back in a minute.

609. Got him on statutory rape.

610. Hold on, Madison's changed her statement how many times now?

611. Several.

612. A few.

613. Girl was traumatized and under the influence.

614. Which also doesn't help?

615. Yeah, if I'm Russo's lawyer,

616. I'm gonna paint her as a crazy fan

617. who admitted to using drugs and alcohol,

618. who stalked him.

619. Save it for night school?

620. What about his alibi?

621. Catalina Soren isn't calling us back.

622. Might be 'cause she wasn't in the room with Russo.

623. We have video evidence he kissed Madison at the bar,

624. did body shots off her.

625. That's at least endangering the welfare of a child.

626. Come on.

627. We also have video of him

628. talking to her right outside his hotel room door.

629. (Fin) And if we show the jury that,

630. his lawyer's gonna ask

631. why we didn't show them the rest,

632. and they're gonna wonder what was on it.

633. I'm wondering the same thing.

634. (Lenny) I got to thank you guys.

635. Some of my best sources are in your offices.

636. (Barba) Care to share any names?

637. I never reveal a source.

638. (Benson) Look, we don't care where you got it, Lenny.

639. We just need to see the rest.

640. Wouldn't know how to get that for you.

641. (Barba) Withholding evidence

642. is a Class E felony, Mr. Simmons.

643. I don't have the video in my possession,

644. so there's no physical evidence being withheld.

645. Well, then, who does have it?

646. My source is my source.

647. First Amendment guarantees that journalists

648. don't have to reveal that information.

649. But, hang on, that's for real journalists.

650. You're not even tabloid trash.

651. You wound me.

652. Hey, Counselor, tell her about New York Press Shield Law.

653. (Barba) He's right.

654. Even LMZ has absolute protection

655. for confidential news.

656. To compel, the hurdles are very high.

657. You've got to be kidding me.

658. Don't mess with LMZ.

659. You want to threaten a police officer?

660. Go ahead, tough guy, take a swing.

661. You take one first.

662. Come on, Nick. Let's go.

663. Maybe I will.

664. Okay.

665. Oh, um...

666. I almost forgot.

667. Here.

668. Whoever showed you tape impersonated NYPD to steal it,

669. which means you have direct knowledge

670. of criminal wrongdoing.

671. So tomorrow, you can either

672. reveal your source to a grand jury

673. or they will hold you in contempt.

674. Bring your toothbrush.

675. Lenny's a third-rate hack,

676. although he wants everyone to think

677. he's Woodward and Bernstein.

678. You know, he may not show.

679. Don't forget,

680. before he became a vulture, he was a lawyer.

681. Yeah, a distinction without a difference.

682. It means he knows if he doesn't show, he goes to jail.

683. Yeah, he doesn't have the stones for that.

684. Agreed. All bat, no balls.

685. Guess who didn't show?

686. I just spent the past two hours with 23 grand jurors

687. playing Sudoku.

688. (Olivia) It's Friday.

689. How about we pick him up at the end of the day.

690. (Barba) So he can't get processed until Monday

691. and has to spend the weekend at The Tombs?

692. Motherhood has really changed you, Liv,

693. brought out your sweet side.

694. Do it.

695. Thank you.

696. Here you go.

697. That's a wrap, folks.

698. Have a great weekend.

699. If you can't come in Sunday, don't come in Monday.

700. Lenny Simmons.

701. We missed you at court today.

702. Hey, Lenny.

703. Where's that bat?

704. You know, failure to appear is contempt.

705. All right, yeah, get those cameras rolling.

706. This is NYPD harassment,

707. trying to force me to reveal a confidential source.

708. Atta boy, Lenny.

709. (Lenny) They may have no respect for the Constitution,

710. but I am willing to die to respect those rights.

711. I know this is gonna be hard for you,

712. but you have the right to remain silent.

713. Look, until he gives up that video or his source

714. we can't make a case.

715. (Amaro) Why should Lenny Simmons give it up?

716. I mean, this is goosing his ratings

717. while he's got his feet up in protective custody.

718. We could put a UC in his cell.

719. He's under arrest.

720. NYPD can't have an ex-parte conversation.

721. About his case.

722. But if he gives us information about somebody else,

723. that's fair game.

724. Is it?

725. I didn't hear any of this.

726. Hey, hey.

727. You think you got eyes on me?

728. You ain't got eyes.

729. You don't know eyes.

730. Hey, man, we're all good here.

731. I got eyes.

732. I got eyes right here in my teeth.

733. Hey, mop boy.

734. Somebody vomit by the toilets.

735. Go make yourself useful.

736. Ciao.

737. Solitaire?

738. You can't do that in here.

739. You got to be on a team.

740. I don't need protection.

741. It's just a little advice from a true LMZ fan.

742. You a fan?

743. Hell yeah.

744. The way you take it to them Hollywood clowns,

745. I can't do nothing but respect that.

746. Where I'm from, talk crap, you get shot.

747. I've come close a few times.

748. What's your name again?

749. Call me Big G.

750. Big G? Lenny.

751. You play Gin?

752. You know, you and me, we're not that different.

753. Is that right?

754. Yeah, you got your kind of juice, I got mine.

755. Velvet glove, iron fist.

756. You gonna keep talking,

757. or we gonna play cards, Lenny?

758. (Lenny) I got 'em all runnin' scared.

759. (Fin) Yeah, whatever you say, Lenny.

760. (Lenny) No, I got a vault

761. of sex videos, drug videos, bestiality.

762. (Fin) Wait a minute.

763. You have video on this guy,

764. and you're doing time to protect him?

765. You're dumber than you look.

766. (Lenny) I'm protecting my operation.

767. I'm thinking about the big picture.

768. The real dirt on what happened last night is in the vault.

769. That's my juice.

770. What is this?

771. You know, the first rule of the vault

772. is there is no vault.

773. Mr. Simmons, I believe you've met Big G.

774. (Fin) Detective Tutuola.

775. Yeah, me and Lenny, we had a nice, long talk in there,

776. right, Len?

777. Remember this part?

778. (Lenny) Russo's manager gives me the PG-13 video,

779. the triple-X stuff disappears.

780. You didn't inform me you were a cop.

781. Whatever you got can't be used.

782. No, see, Lenny,

783. we don't need to get anything from you.

784. You already gave us your source, Lydia Lebasi.

785. Tell us what went down, no one finds out you helped.

786. Refuse to cooperate, we release you

787. and leak that you talked to save your own skin.

788. See, the court of public opinion's a harsh one.

789. But you already knew that.

790. (Lenny) Until this show trial ends,

791. I have agreed to wear an ankle bracelet.

792. I don't care how long they hold me in contempt.

793. The judge can drop dead in his black robe

794. before Lenny Simmons gives up the name of a source.

795. The great defender of the free press

796. falls apart like a cheap suit.

797. (Fin) Russo's manager is on her way.

798. She's got plenty of clients.

799. Can't be fun cleaning up Russo's messes.

800. Maybe she'll cut him loose.

801. (Barba) We know you helped Scott cover up

802. a rape and attempted murder.

803. That makes you a conspirator.

804. You'll go down for a felony yourself.

805. Or you give us that missing footage.

806. Lenny dropped my name?

807. That little bitch.

808. Let him give you the missing footage

809. if he knows so much.

810. Didn't you hear the news?

811. Lenny Simmons is a free press crusader.

812. (Amaro) You, on the other hand,

813. are just Scott Russo's cleaning lady.

814. He's really worth 20 years in jail?

815. I swear I don't have the footage.

816. LMZ does.

817. But you were there.

818. So what happened?

819. Last chance, Miss Lebasi.

820. Scott calls me around 1:00 A.M.

821. "Come up to my suite. I've got a problem."

822. Problem? Try career suicide.

823. A 15-year-old OD'd in his bed,

824. and all he can whine about is being cursed.

825. What did you do?

826. My job.

827. Picked up a cheap suitcase, had him put her in it,

828. he wheeled her out.

829. I got all traces of her out of the room.

830. Wiped prints, stripped the bed.

831. Then you called LMZ

832. and 'em pull that security video.

833. He swore he wouldn't release any of it.

834. They screwed me with that exclusive

835. of Scott and the girl in the hallway.

836. An ethical lapse by LMZ.

837. I'm shocked.

838. They didn't commit a crime, you did.

839. Scott's going down anyway, isn't he?

840. I'll tell you the truth.

841. The whole truth

842. and nothing but the truth.

843. I think that salmon was farm raised.

844. Told you you should have had the burger, man.

845. Totally grass fed.

846. (Fin) Scott Russo.

847. What, are you guys stalking him?

848. Stalking?

849. He's on Foursquare.

850. Every move you make is a public act.

851. Including this.

852. You're under arrest for the rape of Madison Baker.

853. I know you guys hate me,

854. but I did not do this.

855. All right, I'm being set up.

856. (Carisi) Oh, falsely accused?

857. Life imitates art.

858. I get it.

859. Jeez, Scott.

860. Hey, I'll call Lydia.

861. No, Lydia can't help me anymore.

862. Call my lawyer.

863. (Amaro) Well, I'll say this for Scott Russo.

864. He does take a pretty mug shot.

865. (Benson) So how long till that's on LMZ?

866. My daughter needs to speak with you.

867. (Amaro) Madison, what's going on?

868. Why did you arrest Scott?

869. I told you that he didn't hurt me.

870. (Benson) It's okay, Madison.

871. His manager Lydia told us everything.

872. What did she say?

873. That you OD'd in his hotel room

874. after he had sex with you,

875. and then they put you in the suitcase,

876. and they dumped you.

877. She's lying about all of it.

878. did not have sex?

879. No.

880. We made out a little at the party,

881. but once he found out how old I was,

882. he got scared.

883. So you followed him

884. to his hotel suite.

885. He opened the door.

886. I saw Catalina Soren, from his movie.

887. She was behind him, in a robe.

888. She's so beautiful.

889. Then what happened?

890. He told me I was a nice girl,

891. but too young for him.

892. He told me to go home.

893. I just—I started crying after he closed the door.

894. That's when Skye came out.

895. That's Skye Adderson.

896. Yeah, he invited me into his room to clean myself up.

897. We had more drinks.

898. I took some of his pills.

899. He was so understanding about Scott,

900. telling me what a jerk he was.

901. We started making out.

902. I'm sorry, mom.

903. It's okay, honey.

904. Just tell the truth.

905. We had sex.

906. Everything is hazy.

907. Next thing I know, I'm in the hospital.

908. Madison.

909. Why didn't you tell us from the beginning

910. that it was Skye?

911. Because I didn't want Scott to find out

912. that I had cheated on him.

913. I knew that he would never forgive me.

914. She's finally telling the truth.

915. (Barba) Good for her.

916. Too bad she's lied so many times,

917. the jury won't believe a word she says.

918. Well, I still don't.

919. Look, you heard Lydia Lebasi, right?

920. She pinned everything on Scott.

921. Now, why frame her own client

922. and risk imprisonment to protect Adderson?

923. Let's just ask her.

924. Yeah, it'd be easier to control the conversation

925. if we had that missing footage.

926. So let her think that we do.

927. (Benson) Hi.

928. Sergeant Benson from SVU.

929. I'm sorry for the interruption.

930. Just have a few more questions.

931. We already spoke with your detectives.

932. Forgive us, but we have a flight to catch to New Zealand.

933. (Fin) New Zealand?

934. Isn't that where Catalina Soren's

935. shooting that new Catalyst movie?

936. Yeah, it's a trilogy.

937. Skye just got cast as the Catalyst himself.

938. OH, that's big time, man.

939. What's that like, 10 mil a pop?

940. I always thought you were more

941. kind of like a indie guy?

942. Even bad boys grow up.

943. Now, I'm sorry, please.

944. Yeah, we just have a couple of timeline questions, Skye.

945. So, where did you go after the party?

946. I-I went to Lydia's room,

947. and we were actually strategizing

948. about the Catalyst.

949. All right, okay.

950. And what time was that?

951. Was 1:00 A.M.?

952. I fell asleep on her couch?

953. I thought that this was taken care of.

954. It is. Relax.

955. We have to get to JFK.

956. We can give you a ride.

957. Sirens, lights, you know.

958. You ever done that? It's a trip.

959. So, Skye, just to be clear,

960. you're saying that— that you never saw Madison,

961. maybe in the hallway, maybe crying?

962. Of course not.

963. He was with me.

964. Well, the problem is,

965. that doesn't really jive

966. with the hotel security footage.

967. Well—

968. The footage—the footage was—is gone.

969. Who told you that?

970. No, LMZ has had that footage in a vault,

971. and—and your manager finally gave them the okay

972. to release it to us.

973. They're lying. Skye, I didn't—

974. Okay, Skye.

975. So back to the video.

976. Now, we have you at 1:00 in the morning, right?

977. Consoling Madison and then escorting her

978. into your hotel room.

979. And then later on, we got you

980. wheeling that suitcase out around 2:45 A.M.

981. What—what is going on?

982. - No, no, no, no. - Skye!

983. That's not right.

984. What about Lydia coming in to my room,

985. bringing in the suitcase.

986. You don't have that on tape?

987. Definitely not, but nice try.

988. So you're saying it's all her idea?

989. I'm—I'm so sorry, Lydia.

990. I can't go down for this.

991. I know, Skye.

992. Don't worry, honey.

993. He's telling the truth.

994. It was my idea.

995. He wanted to call an ambulance.

996. I told him no.

997. I said I didn't want some stupid girl

998. to screw up the Catalyst deal.

999. Okay, you don't have to cover for your client.

1000. She's not covering for me.

1001. I am innocent.

1002. I am—I had no idea how old that girl was,

1003. and Madison,

1004. she took the drugs from my dopp kit.

1005. You know, the station is right down the road.

1006. So how about the four of us go there,

1007. and we can sort this out?

1008. No, no, no, let him get on the plane.

1009. Let him go to New Zealand.

1010. It was my idea, take me.

1011. We should all go.

1012. What's gonna happen now?

1013. I don't know what to do.

1014. What do we do?

1015. Shh.

1016. Don't worry, my beautiful boy.

1017. Everything's gonna be all right.

1018. - Okay. - It's gonna be all right.

1019. Given new evidence in Skye Adderson's confession,

1020. People have no objection.

1021. Then the motion to dismiss the indictment

1022. is so ordered.

1023. You're free to go, Mr. Russo.

1024. Hey, if you're looking for that apology—

1025. (Scott) No.

1026. Actually, I want to thank you.

1027. You do?

1028. Yeah, for getting to the truth.

1029. As painful as it is, I can't believe Lydia set me up

1030. because I refused to compromise my integrity.

1031. Come again?

1032. I mean, I always thought she believed in me.

1033. But I guess she found a brighter, shinier boy.

1034. It's been a tough week.

1035. That people I love would destroy me

1036. for status and money

1037. is the ultimate betrayal.

1038. Check, please.

1039. (Scott) There's a lesson here.

1040. The manna that consumes Hollywood creates the basis

1041. for disrespecting one's true self

1042. and for hurting others.

1043. Falsely Accused...

1044. Well, it's not a just a movie.

1045. It happened to me.
