95. You think chris
would give me a job?Copy !req
96. I don't know.
But it couldn't
hurt to ask.Copy !req
97. I mean, the worst
that could happen
is he says no.Copy !req
98. Uh-uh. The worst
thing that could happenCopy !req
99. Is that he could
throw things at meCopy !req
100. And then throw me
in his closet,
fatten me up,Copy !req
101. And then feed me
to his pet tarantula.Copy !req
102. Hi, wendy.
It's me, chris.Copy !req
103. Chris potter.Copy !req
104. I've lived across
the street from you

114. I don't know.
I'm scared.Copy !req
115. Kel, come on,
ask him.Copy !req
116. I'm scared!
Ask him!Copy !req
117. What do you want, kel?Copy !req
118. Um...Copy !req
119. Do you have a giant
pet tarantula?Copy !req
120. No.Copy !req
121. Oh, that's all
i wanted to know.Copy !req
122. Kel! Kel was sort of
wondering that maybe
you would considerCopy !req
123. You know,
hiring him
to work here.Copy !req
124. Oh, is that all?Copy !req
125. Kel, you shouldn't
be afraid to ask me that.Copy !req
126. You know,
if you want something,Copy !req
127. The best way to get it
is always to come
right out and ask for it.Copy !req
128. Well...Copy !req
129. Can i have a job?Copy !req
130. No! Are you kidding?Copy !req
131. Get out of here!Copy !req

134. I'm never gonna

135. I'm never gonna get
orange soda.Copy !req
136. Oh, wait a minute.Copy !req
137. Maybe if i show chris
how good of worker i am,Copy !req
138. He'll hire me!
Yeah, that's it!Copy !req
139. Ah! This is
the one right here.
It's perfect.Copy !req
140. Great.Copy !req
141. 22 cents.Copy !req
142. All right.Copy !req
143. Oh, dear, i don't
seem to have any money.Copy !req
144. You don't have
any money?Copy !req
145. Just get out.
Go. Go, please.
Could you please
leave?Copy !req
146. Well!Copy !req
147. I'm mopping!Copy !req
148. Kel, what are you
doing?Copy !req
149. I'm mopping.
I wanna show chris how
good of a worker i am
so he'll hire me.Copy !req
150. You can't mop
right there in front
of the door.Copy !req
151. And why not?Copy !req
152. Oh!Copy !req
153. What's going on here?Copy !req
154. Uh... N-nothing?Copy !req
155. Nothing?Copy !req
156. What is that customer
doing on the floor?Copy !req
157. Oh! Th-well,
that particular
customer was
uh—uh—Copy !req
158. Tired!Copy !req
159. Yeah.
Now he's
napping.Copy !req
160. Yeah, and the cookies...
They're napping, too.Copy !req
161. Oh! Ok.Copy !req
162. Well, that's more like it.Copy !req
163. Well, i'm off to have
my legs waxed.Copy !req
164. I'll see y'all later.Copy !req
165. No—watch your
step—Copy !req
166. Oh! Oh!Copy !req
167. What am i doing on the floor?Copy !req
168. Don't worry, chris.
The floor's clean.
I mopped it.Copy !req
169. Oh, man, i'm doomed!Copy !req
170. I'm never gonna
get a job.Copy !req
171. I'm never gonna
drink orange soda
again.Copy !req
172. My life is ruined.Copy !req
173. Kel, don't panic,
man.Copy !req
174. Now, there are plenty
of jobs out there
for young, smart,
hard-working guys.Copy !req
175. And once all those guys
have jobs, someone'll
have to hire you.Copy !req
176. You think so?Copy !req
177. Yeah. We'll look
in here and see
what's available.Copy !req
178. Hi, boys.

eating their food?Copy !req
183. That's it!
Hanging around other
people's houses and
eating their food!Copy !req
184. That's a great job!Copy !req
185. There is no such job.Copy !req
186. Man, i knew it was
too good to be true.Copy !req
187. Right now we got to
figure out what
you can do.Copy !req
188. Lemme see.

Nah.Copy !req
189. Uh... President!Copy !req
190. Nah.Copy !req

in here for you!Copy !req
194. Wait, wait, wait.
I know.Copy !req
195. I could be
a professional
puzzle put-together-er.Copy !req
196. Yeah, that's it!
I bet i could put
this puzzle together!Copy !req
197. No, kel,
don't touch it!Copy !req
198. Don't touch it!
Don't touch the
puzzle, kel!Copy !req
199. Y'all gonna need

201. How about me?Copy !req
202. Oh, yeah!
Come here.
Wait a minute.Copy !req
203. I want to talk to you.Copy !req
204. Aah!Copy !req
205. Well, kel,
i'd just like to
thank you againCopy !req
206. For getting me
kicked out my
own house.Copy !req
207. No problem.Copy !req
208. Did you find
any jobs in there
for me yet?Copy !req
209. Not yet.Copy !req
210. Man.Copy !req
211. Eew!Copy !req
212. Man, this donut
is nasty!Copy !req
213. Kel, it's plastic.Copy !req
214. Oh, well, then
it's pretty good
then.Copy !req
215. How do they
do it, man?
It tastes just
like plastic!Copy !req
216. Man! There are no jobs
in there for you, man!Copy !req
217. All those jobs
require that you be
good at something.Copy !req
218. It's not fair.Copy !req
219. Wait! I got
another idea.
Can i borrow $100?Copy !req
220. No.Copy !req
221. Man, that plan
seemed fool-proof.Copy !req
222. I'm never going to
get a job.Copy !req
223. Ow.Copy !req
224. I'm sorry.Copy !req
225. Ow...Copy !req
226. Here's your
help wanted sign.Copy !req
227. Oh, thank you.Copy !req
228. No problem.Copy !req
229. Now where am i
gonna find a job?Copy !req
230. Here! You can work
here at stale's donuts!Copy !req
231. Yeah, right.
Like they're hiring.Copy !req
232. Actually, we are
hiring here.Copy !req
233. How did you know?Copy !req
234. Because i'm dave stale,
owner of stale's donuts.
You interested?Copy !req
235. Oh, yeah!
Yeah, he's interested.Copy !req
236. Very interested!Copy !req
237. Have you ever worked
in a donut shop before?Copy !req
238. No, i haven't
worked anywhere
before—Copy !req
239. Yes, he has.
He worked in all
the donut shops.Copy !req
240. Donut castle,
donut schmonut,Copy !req
241. You know,
all them.Copy !req
242. That's great!Copy !req
243. But would you mind
letting him answer
the questions?Copy !req
244. Well, i don't think
that's a very good
idea—Copy !req
245. Well, i do.
Well, fine.Copy !req
246. So tell me why
you think you'd make
a good stale's donut
employee.Copy !req
247. Well, see...
I like to eat
donuts.Copy !req
248. But, see, i never
have enough money
to buy donuts,Copy !req
249. So i feel if i work
here...Copy !req
250. I could eat all
the donuts for free.Copy !req
251. You know,
you're not allowed
to eat the donuts
where you're working.Copy !req
252. Well, that stinks.Copy !req
253. I'm afraid
you're not quite
the employee we're
looking for. Sorry.Copy !req
254. Ho-ho-hold on, man!Copy !req
255. I'm sorry.Copy !req
256. Kel has skills.
I mean, the boy

Watch this!Copy !req
257. Whatcha doin'?
Whatcha doin'?

258. What that is?Copy !req
259. Hey!
Our donuts!Copy !req
260. Come here, come here.Copy !req
261. Watch this.Copy !req
262. Kel, flavor?Copy !req
263. Honey glazed.Copy !req
264. Chocolate sprinkle.Copy !req
265. Maple bar.Copy !req
266. Cruller!Copy !req
267. bagel!Copy !req
268. No guessing.Copy !req
269. I'm sorry, i'm sorry.Copy !req
270. But you get the point.
So, what do you think?Copy !req
271. Well, he does seem
to know his donuts.Copy !req
272. All right,
i'll give him
a shot.Copy !req
273. You've got the job.
You start tomorrow.Copy !req
274. I'll just take this.Copy !req
275. Ha ha ha ha!
That's great.Copy !req
276. Kel,
you got the job!Copy !req
277. Whoa!
I got a job!Copy !req
278. I got a job!Copy !req
279. I got a job!Copy !req
280. I got a job!Copy !req
281. I got a job!Copy !req
282. I got a job.Copy !req
283. What if
i can't do it?Copy !req
284. Don't worry, kel.Copy !req
285. I mean, you're
gonna be great.Copy !req
286. Hey, look at all
these jelly donuts.
Whoa!Copy !req
287. Hey, kel,
you know what?Copy !req
288. Y'all should put
peanut butter in there
with the jelly,Copy !req
289. Then you can make
peanut butter and jelly
donuts.Copy !req
290. Ha. Yeah, right.Copy !req
291. Like, who puts
peanut butter
and jelly together?Copy !req
292. Ha!
You're crazy.Copy !req
293. But the sandwich...Copy !req
294. Well, good morning!Copy !req
295. I see that you're on time.
That's a very nice start.Copy !req
296. Well, thank you.
I like to be punctual.Copy !req
297. That's nice.
But why are you here?Copy !req
298. Because i'm his friend.Copy !req
299. You know, i'm here for
moral support and, uh...Copy !req
300. Free samples.Copy !req
301. Kel has to work.
I'm afraid you'll
have to leave.Copy !req
302. Yeah, but i was
just gonna grab...Copy !req
303. Kenan, kenan,
you can't come
down here,Copy !req
304. You know,
hanging out while
i'm trying to work.Copy !req
305. Ok? You know,
it's distracting,
inappropriate,Copy !req
306. And downright
unprofessional.Copy !req
307. Yeah, but you're
always hanging out
at my job.Copy !req
308. Bye-bye.Copy !req
309. I'm sorry.
Bye-bye.Copy !req
310. Hold on now.Copy !req
311. I'm taking something.
I'll take this.
How about that?Copy !req
312. So, kel, are you
ready to see how
stale's donuts works?Copy !req
313. Well, ok!Copy !req
314. Let's go!
Yeah.Copy !req
315. Now over here
is the batter bowl.Copy !req
316. Now this is where
the donut begins
its journey to
your stomach.Copy !req
317. And right below
the bowl is the tubeCopy !req
318. Which is right in here
which carries the batterCopy !req
319. From the batter bowl—
ha ha ha—to the oven,Copy !req
320. Which is a very
powerful oven,Copy !req
321. Where the donuts
will be pressed,
shaped, and cooked!Copy !req
322. Whoo!Copy !req
323. Ok, follow me.Copy !req
324. Kel! Over here.Copy !req
325. Oh?Copy !req
326. I've got something
to show ya.Copy !req
327. I'm coming.
Come on.Copy !req
328. All right.Copy !req
329. Now right here
is the start button.Copy !req
330. We call it the start button
because when you push it,Copy !req
331. It starts. Ha ha ha!Copy !req
332. I'm gonna push it now.Copy !req
333. No, no.
Don't push it.Copy !req
334. I'm pushing.
Don't push it.Copy !req
335. And right here,
is where the donutsCopy !req
336. Are cooked
and filled with jelly.Copy !req
337. Jelly? You should put
peanut butter in with them.Copy !req
338. You know why?
Because you could haveCopy !req
339. The goodness of
a peanut butter
and jelly sandwich
in a donut.Copy !req
340. A peanut butter
and jelly donut.Copy !req
341. Hey, that's not bad.Copy !req
342. Ha ha ha.
Well, how do you know?
You haven't even
tasted it yet?Copy !req
343. Of course.
It's so simple.Copy !req
344. This could be big,
this could be very big.Copy !req
345. I wasn't thinking big.
I think you missed the point.Copy !req
346. I think it should
be a regular size donut.Copy !req
347. You know what, kel?
I think you're
on to something.Copy !req
348. Ha ha ha ha ha!Copy !req
349. That's mine.
I'm sorry.Copy !req
350. I'm gonna go...Copy !req
351. Get to work.Copy !req
352. Shredmore at the mound.Copy !req
353. He's one pitch away
from the most amazing
victory in baseball history.Copy !req
354. And here's the wind up.Copy !req
355. And here's the pitch.Copy !req
356. Oh! Oh, man!
I was trying
to hit the cerealCopy !req
357. And i hit—
kel, did you see that?Copy !req
358. Oh, stupid donut job.Copy !req
359. I'll call him.Copy !req
360. Hello, kel.
Yeah, yeah, it's kenan.Copy !req
361. I know you can't talk, but,
um, let me tell you quick...Copy !req
362. Hello? Hello!Copy !req
363. Excuse me, young man.Copy !req
364. You talking to me?
I mean, i guess
you must be,Copy !req
365. Because any young man
that might've been
around hereCopy !req
366. Is now working at
the stupid donut shop.Copy !req
367. I see. Are any
of these items for sale?Copy !req
368. Yes. This is
a grocery store!Copy !req
369. Selling items
is what we do!Copy !req
370. I see.
I'll just look around.Copy !req
371. Great.Copy !req
372. Yo, kenan.Copy !req
373. Hey!
Mort the jeweler!Copy !req
374. Hey, kenan the grocer.
How's your pop?Copy !req
375. Oh, you know, bald.Copy !req
376. Ha ha. Very funny.
Very funny.Copy !req
377. How you doin', kid?Copy !req
378. I'm good, i'm good.
Can't complain.Copy !req
379. Hey. How would you
like to hang out
with me here all day?Copy !req
380. Oh, no, sorry.
I gotta go.Copy !req
381. Hey, hey.
Do you want
some orange soda?Copy !req
382. I really—
i gotta go.Copy !req
383. Well,
just get out then!Copy !req
384. I'm gone.Copy !req
385. Say hi to mom and pop!Copy !req
386. You know, you're just
like all the rest of 'em!Copy !req
387. Grrrr! Stupid customers!Copy !req
388. Excuse me, young man.Copy !req
389. Yes, ma'am?Copy !req
390. I think you dropped
your apple.Copy !req
391. Sure enough.Copy !req
392. Oh, kenan.Copy !req
393. You've gotta try
these donuts from
stale's donuts.Copy !req
394. They're amazing.Copy !req
395. They're filled with
peanut butter and jelly.Copy !req
396. Peanut butter and jel—Copy !req
397. Why that little—
that's my donut!Copy !req
398. Aahh!Copy !req
399. Ha ha!Copy !req
400. Ooh! Hi, kel.
Congratulations
on your new job.Copy !req
401. Hey.Copy !req
402. Yeah, we had to come
down here and see this
for ourselves.Copy !req
403. Hey, rockwells.
What's happening?Copy !req
404. Well, kel,
now that you're working,Copy !req
405. Whaddaya say you slip us
a few free donuts?Copy !req
406. I don't know,
mr. Rockwell.Copy !req
407. I'm not supposed
to do that.Copy !req

i've ever done in
my whole life.Copy !req
426. Well, you must be
one sad little man.Copy !req
427. I am.Copy !req
428. But enough about me.Copy !req
429. I just wanna
congratulate you
on your new donut.Copy !req
430. Here's $500.
You've earned it.Copy !req
431. Oh, wow. $500?
This job is easy.Copy !req
432. And i'll pay you
$500 more for any
new donuts you
come up with.Copy !req
433. Wow. This is cool!Copy !req
434. Hey, kel.
What's with you inventing
the peanut butter
and jelly donut?Copy !req
435. That's my donut.
You stole my donut.Copy !req
436. I—i—i didn't mean to.Copy !req
437. Aw, i feel all dirty!Copy !req
438. Kenan,

439. You can have it.Copy !req
440. I don't want your
dirty, measly ol'
$500.Copy !req
441. $500 in here.Copy !req
442. I know.Copy !req
443. Kel, that's $500, man!Copy !req
444. That's like $100,
but—more.Copy !req
445. I know.Copy !req
446. Then he told me
that he'd give me
$500 for every donut
i invent.Copy !req
447. What?Copy !req
448. Now i'm gonna have
to tell him the truth.Copy !req
449. I'm a fraud.Copy !req
450. Whoa, whoa,
whoa there, hasty.Copy !req
451. $500 for every new donut?Copy !req
452. Uh-huh.Copy !req
453. Well, kel, meet me
back here tonight
when the store closes.Copy !req
454. Why?Copy !req
455. We're gonna invent
some new donuts.Copy !req
456. Gonna be rich.Copy !req
457. It's 3:00 in
the morning, man.Copy !req
458. Now what donuts have
we invented so far?Copy !req
459. Well, we got
the salt-filled donut.Copy !req

filled donut?Copy !req
462. A little too soggy.Copy !req
463. We got the fish-filled
donut.Copy !req
464. Eeuw!Copy !req
465. Why don't you
taste that one?Copy !req
466. I ain't tasting
that one.Copy !req
467. Remember, i tasted
the mayonnaise-filled
donut?Copy !req
468. That's nasty.
I can't taste that.Copy !req
469. Man. This invention
stuff is hard.Copy !req
470. Yeah.
But wait a minute.Copy !req
471. I got a donut
you're gonna love.Copy !req
472. Wait a minute.
Stay there.Copy !req
473. What is this?Copy !req
474. Well, i figured
if people like
regular-sized donuts,Copy !req
475. I'm sure they'll like
a really, really, really
big donut!Copy !req
476. Kel, nobody could
possibly eat this
whole thing.Copy !req
477. It's huge!Copy !req
478. This is bigger than
a pastry oughta be.Copy !req
479. No, no, no.
Check it out.Copy !req
480. See, they could put it
around their waistCopy !req
481. And eat it a little bit
at a time,Copy !req
482. You know,
when they get hungry.Copy !req
483. Kel,
that'll never work.Copy !req
484. Yes, it will.
Look. Check it out.Copy !req
485. Let me put this
around you.Copy !req
486. Look at that.Copy !req

489. This is how
you gotta do it.Copy !req
490. All you got to do...Copy !req
491. Kel, don't put it
on yourself.Copy !req
492. You don't wanna
put that—Copy !req
493. Oh, i'm stuck.Copy !req
494. Now we're in
a predicament.Copy !req
495. Go back, go back.Copy !req
496. Oh, you're pushing me.Copy !req
497. You hit the switch!
Turn it off!Copy !req
498. Ooh ooh ooh!

519. Well, maybe you
should stop eating
all those donuts.Copy !req
520. Well, we had to pay
for all those donuts.Copy !req
521. I thought we might
as well just eat 'em.Copy !req
522. You don't have to eat
them all at once.Copy !req
523. I'm not eating them
all at once!Copy !req
524. I'm eating them
one at a time.Copy !req
525. Only got 8,523
