How to Get Away with Murder 1x11

1. Previously on "how to get away with murder"...

2. Yeah, he's the freak who lived here before you.

3. Come on. We had fun.

4. You had fun.

5. Rebecca goes to trial unless we get the charges against her dismissed.

6. We have to prove that my husband murdered lila stangard.

7. Would be a gross miscarriage of justice.

8. Whatever his wife told you, my brother is no murderer.

9. Your sister-in-law's in town.

10. 6, 5,

11. 4, 3, 2, 1.

12. Happy new year!

13. I'm so sorry.

14. Don't be.

15. Hi. How was your trip?

16. Where is she?

17. Upstairs.

18. Hi.

19. The petersons still have that swing set

20. That sam and I used to play on when we were kids,

21. Even though their own children moved out —

22. What? — 30 years ago.

23. Mrs. Peterson is still there. Garrett died last fall.

24. You've been avoiding me.

25. Well, you haven't answered my phone calls.

26. Well, I went home. I had to get my head together.

27. To your mother's house. Bonnie said.

28. How is she?

29. She's good.

30. I can't remember the last time

31. Sam mentioned that you visited her.

32. Well, it's been a while.

33. Annalise, can we please not do this?

34. I don't know what you mean.

35. Can you at least tell me if you're concerned about him?

36. Of course. Then why leave?

37. When a person goes missing —

38. Either way, you don't leave. You stay. You put up posters.

39. But you stay so that you're there when they come back.

40. He's not coming back. How do you know that?

41. He killed a girl. He doesn't want to go to jail.

42. How do you know? Did he tell you?

43. The detectives say that you confronted him,

44. But he didn't confess anything.

45. Would you? If you were my wife

46. And a defense attorney, yeah, you bet I would.

47. Well, you're not a killer. He is.

48. What about foul play?

49. Why isn't that the first thing you think of —

50. Foul play, that — that maybe he's been hurt?

51. None of this makes any sense, annalise.

52. Did you know I-I was with him

53. The day after that girl was killed — lila.

54. We spent the entire labor day weekend together.

55. We — we went over — we had lobsters at hemingways,

56. And he helped fix the screen door on my front porch,

57. About how much he wanted that new job at yale,

58. And how he really thought

59. That a fresh start would be really, really good

60. For the both of you.

61. How could he have done all those little things

62. A-after he had just strangled a girl to death?

63. I don't know. People don't make sense.

64. W-what is this?

65. That's the evidence that I presented to the court

66. To prove that he killed that girl.

67. And then you'll understand what I've been going through.

68. Whatever's in that box, that's not my brother.

69. He is not the man we thought he was.

70. Hey there, killer.

71. Funny.

72. First day of a new semester.

73. It's all so exciting, isn't it?

74. Hey. Oh, god.

75. Thank god you're both here.

76. I was — I was getting really anxious.

77. Why? Are you worried that I finally went to the police

78. Without you and waitlist keeping an eye on me?

79. Connor...

80. Happy new year. How was everyone's break?

81. What is that? It's a fake.

82. I bought it with cash at a jewelry mart in chinatown.

83. So, did everyone have a nice holiday?

84. Yeah. Um...

85. Aiden and I spent most of it in east hampton with his parents,

86. Then went to the mayor's new year's party

87. At gracie mansion.

88. Is there any news about the sister?

89. Did annalise scare her back to boston yet,

90. Or did she just kill her?

91. What are you talking about?

92. Sam's sister.

93. She got here right before the break.

94. She went to the police, said she didn't believe any of it.

95. She at least told you, right?

96. No.

98. Vacation is over.

99. This is how to get away with murder, the second semester,

100. Where things get even harder than the first.

101. Why didn't you tell me?

102. I didn't think you needed to know.

103. It's his sister. How would I not need to know that?

104. If I don't tell you these things,

105. It's because they're not things

106. That you need to concern yourself with.

107. You have enough on your plate.

108. How is she?

109. Good.

110. And you? How are you?

111. I'm tired.

112. I can imagine.

115. For a d.U.I. Incident.

116. You think it's press?

117. Rubbernecker, more likely.

118. Do you want me to get rid of her?

119. No. We can use some fun around here.

120. What precinct gave you the d.U.I.?

121. Excuse me? D.U.I.S are issued

122. With paperwork from the precinct that pulled you over.

123. You don't have it?

124. Can we talk alone?

125. No, because I don't believe you.

126. Have you got a good enough look yet

127. At the house where the middleton strangler lived?

128. God, I missed this place.

129. No, that's not why I...

130. I don't care about what your husband did.

131. I'm here for you.

132. I see.

133. That sold out her husband up close, huh?

134. No, I don't think you're a freak.

135. I...

136. I want to do what you did.

137. I'm no role model. You need to leave.

138. Please. I don't have anybody else.

164. He said he would look out for me.

165. So we got married,

166. But I could never get pregnant.

167. Then he showed up with rachel,
