1. 't know why anyone would miss
an episode of Glee,Copy !req
2. but here's what's been
happening in case you did:Copy !req
3. Quinn's parents found out
she's pregnantCopy !req
4. so they kicked her out.
I needed my mom.Copy !req
5. So it's decided.Copy !req
6. You move in with me.Copy !req
7. Jessie dropped Rachel and McKinleyCopy !req
8. and the New Directions and he's
back on Vocal AdrenalineCopy !req
9. which freaked everybody out and
convinced them they can'tCopy !req
10. beat them at Regionals and if they
don't place at Regionals,Copy !req
11. the club is over,
which would be awful.Copy !req
12. And that's what you missed on Glee.Copy !req
13. Hey, buddy, see you on Saturday.Copy !req
14. Wait. What?Copy !req
15. At Regionals. Didn't you hear?Copy !req
16. I'm one of the judges.Copy !req
17. You cannot allow this to happen!Copy !req
18. It's out of my hands, William.Copy !req
19. I have no control over whatCopy !req
20. the Show Choir Governing Board
says or does.Copy !req
21. Let me break it down for you, Will.Copy !req
22. It's been decided that
this year's RegionalsCopy !req
23. will be judged by celebrities.Copy !req
24. And I'm a celebrityCopy !req
25. now, William.Copy !req
26. Now I realize my culturalCopy !req
27. ascendance only servesCopy !req
28. to illuminate your own banality,Copy !req
29. but face it.Copy !req
30. I'm a legend. It's happened.Copy !req
31. Do you have any idea how hard
my kids have been working, Sue?Copy !req
32. I have to be honest, Will.Copy !req
33. I'm having a really
difficult time hearingCopy !req
34. anything you have
to say today becauseCopy !req
35. your hair looks like
a briar patch.Copy !req
36. I keep expecting racistCopy !req
37. animated Disney characters to pop upCopy !req
38. and start singing songs
about living on the bayou.Copy !req
39. Principal Figgins, I am begging you.Copy !req
40. Do not let her do this to those kids.Copy !req
41. William, I resent the implicationCopy !req
42. that I don't play by the rules.Copy !req
43. You leaked our set list at Sectionals, Sue.Copy !req
44. I have no memory of that.Copy !req
45. I will not let you do this.Copy !req
46. We have worked ourselves to
the bone to get where we are.Copy !req
47. I'm sorry, Will, but our arrangement stands.Copy !req
48. You must win or place at Regionals,Copy !req
49. or I'm disbanding the club.Copy !req
50. If I were you, I would spendCopy !req
51. less time complaining to me and more timeCopy !req
52. convincing Judge Sylvester
here that your New DirectionsCopy !req
53. have got the goods!Copy !req
54. Good luck with that, Will.Copy !req
55. I can't do this.Copy !req
56. Yes, you can.Copy !req
57. Have another wine cooler.Copy !req
58. I'm president of the Celibacy Club.Copy !req
59. I took a vow.Copy !req
60. So did Santana and Brittany, and I did them.Copy !req
61. What about Finn?Copy !req
62. He's your best friend.Copy !req
63. Come on. We're in high school.Copy !req
64. You think either one of
us is going to give a damnCopy !req
65. about Finn in three years?Copy !req
66. Life's just a bunch of
experiences, you know?Copy !req
67. You don't get a medal at the
finish line for being good.Copy !req
68. You just get dead.Copy !req
69. Okay, but you can't tell anybody.Copy !req
70. I can't lose my rep.Copy !req
71. Our secret, baby.Copy !req
72. What about protection?Copy !req
73. I got it, trust me.Copy !req
74. This isn't just another hookup for me.Copy !req
75. Tell me one more time.Copy !req
76. You're not fat.Copy !req
77. Quinn?Copy !req
78. Quinn?Copy !req
79. Are you all right?Copy !req
80. It's been a long year.Copy !req
81. Yeah.Copy !req
82. Oh, you need some help with those plates?Copy !req
83. I'm not due for a month.Copy !req
84. Think I can handle a stack of plates.Copy !req
85. Right. I'm...Copy !req
86. Yeah.Copy !req
87. No one wants any pizza?Copy !req
88. All right, well, uh, let's get started.Copy !req
89. Thank you for coming to the firstCopy !req
90. annual New Directions' Regionals'Copy !req
91. set list nominations party.Copy !req
92. What's the point, Mr. Shue?Copy !req
93. Coach Sylvester's one of the judges.Copy !req
94. She's gonna crush us.Copy !req
95. Artie, you don't know that.Copy !req
96. Yes, we do.Copy !req
97. She told us at Cheerios practice.Copy !req
98. Yeah, she said,
"I'm going to crush Glee Club."Copy !req
99. A whole freaking year.Copy !req
100. All that hard work for nothing.Copy !req
101. I'm sorry.Copy !req
102. I just really love you guys.Copy !req
103. You know how many Facebook friends I hadCopy !req
104. before I joined Glee Club?Copy !req
105. Two. My parents.Copy !req
106. Rachel was right.Copy !req
107. Being a part of something special—Copy !req
108. it made me special.Copy !req
109. I just can'tCopy !req
110. believe it's going to be over in a week.Copy !req
111. Wait. Who says it's going to be over?Copy !req
112. Please. You think Puck and SantanaCopy !req
113. are going to even acknowledgeCopy !req
114. my existence once we're notCopy !req
115. in Glee Club together anymore?Copy !req
116. She has a point.Copy !req
117. Mr. Schuester?Copy !req
118. Do you think instead of nominating songs,Copy !req
119. we can just... all go around the roomCopy !req
120. and talk about things that we loved aboutCopy !req
121. Glee Club this year?Copy !req
122. It took everything I had not to
cry.Copy !req
123. It's like they've all
walked a thousand milesCopy !req
124. just to get punched in the stomach.Copy !req
125. What exactly are you
looking for from me here?Copy !req
126. Some guidance.Copy !req
127. Do you remember when you were goingCopy !req
128. to quit teaching and become an accountant,Copy !req
129. and I showed you that video of
yourself singing at Nationals,Copy !req
130. and you said that that was the
happiest moment of your life?Copy !req
131. Do you remember why?Copy !req
132. Because I loved what I was doing.Copy !req
133. And isn't that what you've been drillingCopy !req
134. into their heads all year?Copy !req
135. That that feeling is way more importantCopy !req
136. than winning or losing?Copy !req
137. I miss you.Copy !req
138. I'm seeing someone.Copy !req
139. What?Copy !req
140. His-his name's Carl.Copy !req
141. Carl... Howell.Copy !req
142. He's my dentist.Copy !req
143. He's always been very impressed
with my oral hygiene,Copy !req
144. and the last time I was there,
he was showing meCopy !req
145. the machines that they use
to sterilize their tools,Copy !req
146. and he asked me out.Copy !req
147. We've been going out
every night since then.Copy !req
148. You two haven't...?Copy !req
149. Sorry. I'm-I'm sorry.Copy !req
150. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
No, no, no, that's... No.Copy !req
151. It's fine. That's fine.Copy !req
152. I just feel like you and
I had our shot, Will.Copy !req
153. Thanks for the help.Copy !req
154. Um, no, by the way.Copy !req
155. We haven't.Copy !req
156. Hey! We need to talk.Copy !req
157. We had a chance of keeping it togetherCopy !req
158. at Mr. Shue's until you decided to bail.Copy !req
159. You're our leader, Rachel.Copy !req
160. The way you're on everyone
all the time is annoying, butCopy !req
161. it's also what keeps the club motivated.Copy !req
162. You and I are going to fix this.Copy !req
163. We're going to Regionals,
and we're going to win this thing.Copy !req
164. Mr. Schuester, Finn and ICopy !req
165. have something we want to say to you.Copy !req
166. Me first. Have a seat.Copy !req
167. Nine months ago,
there were five of you in here.Copy !req
168. And we sucked.Copy !req
169. I mean, we really sucked.Copy !req
170. Bad.Copy !req
171. One day,
all of you are going to be gone.Copy !req
172. And all of this, all of usCopy !req
173. will be nothing but a hazy memory.Copy !req
174. It will take you a second
to remember everyone's name.Copy !req
175. Someone will have to remind youCopy !req
176. of the songs we sung, the solosCopy !req
177. you got or didn't get.Copy !req
178. Life onlyCopy !req
179. really has one beginningCopy !req
180. and one end, and the rest is justCopy !req
181. a whole lot of middle.Copy !req
182. And I love you guys too muchCopy !req
183. to let you not make the most of it.Copy !req
184. Now, I was going to quit once,Copy !req
185. but you guys brought me back with "
Don't Stop Believing."Copy !req
186. It was a nine,Copy !req
187. but we are going to make it a ten.Copy !req
188. We're doing "Don't Stop" at Regionals?Copy !req
189. And then some.Copy !req
190. We are doing a Journey medley.Copy !req
191. Because who cares what
happens when we get thereCopy !req
192. when the getting there has been so much fun?Copy !req
193. Rachel?Copy !req
194. You had something you wanted to say?Copy !req
195. Just that we're all really glad
you didn't become an accountant.Copy !req
196. Regionals,Copy !req
197. here we come!Copy !req
198. And now, our panel of judges.Copy !req
199. He's an international musical sensation,Copy !req
200. a platinum recording artist 20 times over,Copy !req
201. the inimitable Mr. Josh Groban!Copy !req
202. She's a four-time Grammy winnerCopy !req
203. who starred in the highest-grossingCopy !req
204. movie musical of all time, Ms.
Olivia Newton-John!Copy !req
205. He's a two-time localCopy !req
206. Emmy winner and broadcasting icon,Copy !req
207. WOHN news anchor Rod Remington!Copy !req
208. She is fresh off her fifth consecutiveCopy !req
209. National Cheerleading TitleCopy !req
210. and author of the soo
n-to-be-published memoir,Copy !req
211. I'm A Winner and You're Fat,Copy !req
212. Ohio's home-grown iconoclast,Copy !req
213. Coach Sue Sylvester!Copy !req
214. And now, our first
performance of the evening,Copy !req
215. from Westvale High in
scenic Fort Wayne, Indiana,Copy !req
216. Aural Intensity!Copy !req
217. A mash up of Olivia Newto
n-John and Josh Groban.Copy !req
218. Are you kidding me?Copy !req
219. Somebody tipped them off about
the judges. Guys, we can'tCopy !req
220. get distracted by what the
other teams are doing.Copy !req
221. We just got to keep our
heads in the game and focus.Copy !req
222. Even though we know we can't win?Copy !req
223. Yes.Copy !req
224. If this is only about winning for you guys,Copy !req
225. then I owe you all an apology,
because I've failed you.Copy !req
226. And we should just all go home,Copy !req
227. because it means we've already lost.Copy !req
228. Besides,Copy !req
229. we have got something that
the other groups don't.Copy !req
230. What?Copy !req
231. Finn's dancing.Copy !req
232. Right? Come on.Copy !req
233. Now let's get out there. We got two minutes.Copy !req
234. Aural Intensity's almost finished.Copy !req
235. Bring it in. Come on. Come on.Copy !req
236. Let's go, go, go, go, go and...Copy !req
237. Whoa!Copy !req
238. Break a leg.Copy !req
239. I love you.Copy !req
240. Ladies and Gentleman,
our second competitors,Copy !req
241. winner of the Central Ohio Sectional,Copy !req
242. McKinley High's New Directions!Copy !req
243. That was awesome!Copy !req
244. Oh, my God!Copy !req
245. We've got second place in the bag.Copy !req
246. Screw that. We are going to win this!Copy !req
247. Quinney?Copy !req
248. Mom.Copy !req
249. What are you doing here?Copy !req
250. Is Dad okay...?Copy !req
251. I came to hear you sing.Copy !req
252. You were wonderful.Copy !req
253. I'm-I'm so sorry I missedCopy !req
254. all the other times you performed.
Were there a lot?Copy !req
255. I left your father.Copy !req
256. Well, I-I... kicked m out, actually.Copy !req
257. He was having an affairCopy !req
258. with some, uh... tattooed freak.Copy !req
259. Quinney,Copy !req
260. I want you to come home with me.Copy !req
261. I can turn the guest room into a nursery.Copy !req
262. Oh, sweetie, say something.Copy !req
263. My water just broke.Copy !req
264. Wait! Wait!Copy !req
265. I want Mercedes with me, too.Copy !req
266. It's never coming, ever!Copy !req
267. Shut up!Copy !req
268. Ooh, you suck! You suck! You suck! You suck!Copy !req
269. Come on, Quinney.Copy !req
270. Hi. Hi.Copy !req
271. Congratulations.Copy !req
272. Thanks, Rachel.Copy !req
273. But we beat you today.Copy !req
274. Jessie's a good singer, butCopy !req
275. you and I both know he
doesn't have much heart.Copy !req
276. Vocal Adrenaline's best days are behind it.Copy !req
277. So I have a proposition for you.Copy !req
278. Come teach at McKinley.Copy !req
279. Excuse me?Copy !req
280. You and-and Mr. Schuester
could be co-directors.Copy !req
281. We'd be unstoppable.Copy !req
282. There's so much that you can teach me.Copy !req
283. So much only you can teach me.Copy !req
284. Oh, Rachel, I can't do this anymore.Copy !req
285. I'm tired of coaching glee club.Copy !req
286. I want a life.Copy !req
287. It took meeting you to realizeCopy !req
288. all the stuff that I missed out on.Copy !req
289. I need some balance, you know?Copy !req
290. I need a house and a gardenCopy !req
291. and a dog, a f...Copy !req
292. family.Copy !req
293. I missed out on my chance with you,Copy !req
294. and it kills me.Copy !req
295. And I can't let that happen again.Copy !req
296. Where's the rest of your team?Copy !req
297. They're, uh... they're at the hospital.Copy !req
298. Quinn had her baby. Is she okay?Copy !req
299. Yeah, she's fine.Copy !req
300. It was, um...Copy !req
301. It's a beautiful baby girl.Copy !req
302. Newton-John? You're dead to me.Copy !req
303. Remington, Horsey,
have a seat and listen up.Copy !req
304. I don't care who comes in first,Copy !req
305. I don't care who places send, but I haveCopy !req
306. a very strong opinion
about who comes in third.Copy !req
307. Sue, if I may.Copy !req
308. That "Bohemian Rhapsody"Copy !req
309. had me a-movin' and a-shakin',
and I'm talking old school.Copy !req
310. You know, I partied with Freddy
Mercury back in the '70s,Copy !req
311. and I partied... hard,
if you know what I mean.Copy !req
312. Back then, people weren't
so obsessed with labels.Copy !req
313. I, for one, was offendedCopy !req
314. that only one of the groups
chose to honor me in song.Copy !req
315. I think Aural Intensity should win.Copy !req
316. Yes.Copy !req
317. Two questions. Are you single?Copy !req
318. And two: How about those New Directions?Copy !req
319. I liked them. I thought
they had a lot of... heart.Copy !req
320. Heart? Oh, please.Copy !req
321. Talk about blatant tokenism.Copy !req
322. That whole "We're inspiring, we're a ragtagCopy !req
323. bunch of misfits" thing is so 2009.Copy !req
324. I couldn't agree more. Let's vote.Copy !req
325. The production values simply weren't there.Copy !req
326. Couldn't they afford better costumes?Copy !req
327. Are they a poor person school?Copy !req
328. I thought that
brunette had an amazing voice.Copy !req
329. Brunettes have no placeCopy !req
330. in show business.Copy !req
331. Oh, come on. They're just kids.Copy !req
332. That's no excuse. By the time I was 14,Copy !req
333. I'd already formed a band.Copy !req
334. When Josh Groban was their age,Copy !req
335. he was already in The Mickey Mouse Club or
something.Copy !req
336. As the only educator here, let me point outCopy !req
337. that not all kids are affordedCopy !req
338. the same opportunities as others.Copy !req
339. Is that what you tell yourself
to get to sleep at night?Copy !req
340. Some people just simply don't have talent.Copy !req
341. You think you're a celebrity. You're not.Copy !req
342. You just try hard. That's about it.Copy !req
343. Olivia Newton-John has a valid point here.Copy !req
344. You have a lot in commonCopy !req
345. with those kids at your school, Sue.Copy !req
346. Underachievers with delusions of grandeur.Copy !req
347. Dagnabbit!Copy !req
348. Now even I have to admit,
I'm a little confusedCopy !req
349. as to what Sue is doing in this room.Copy !req
350. Wasn't the theme tonight
supposed to be celebrity judges?Copy !req
351. Kiss my ass, Josh Groban!Copy !req
352. I am a internationall
y-ranked cheerleading coach!Copy !req
353. Who lives in Ohio. When this is doneCopy !req
354. today, Josh and I are flying
back to L.A. first class.Copy !req
355. You'll be staying here.Copy !req
356. Just like those kids.Copy !req
357. I think we've all made up our minds.Copy !req
358. Let's vote.Copy !req
359. Thank you all for coming.Copy !req
360. As you all know, glee clubCopy !req
361. is such an important...Copy !req
362. And I honestly can't even
finish that sentence.Copy !req
363. So let's just get to it.Copy !req
364. The 2010 Midwest Regional Runners-upCopy !req
365. from Fort Wayne, Indiana,Copy !req
366. the not-at-all stupidly-namedCopy !req
367. Aural Intensity!Copy !req
368. Very good.Copy !req
369. Mm-hmm.Copy !req
370. And now,Copy !req
371. your 2010 Midwest Regional
Show Choir ChampionsCopy !req
372. Vocal Adrenaline!Copy !req
373. We didn't even place.Copy !req
374. Love. She looks like you.Copy !req
375. Do you want to keep her?Copy !req
376. No.Copy !req
377. Do you?Copy !req
378. Did you love me?Copy !req
379. Yes.Copy !req
380. Especially now.Copy !req
381. Which one is yours?Copy !req
382. What are you doing here?Copy !req
383. I see her now.Copy !req
384. She looks like you.Copy !req
385. Does she have a name?Copy !req
386. No.Copy !req
387. Beth.Copy !req
388. Pretty.Copy !req
389. I like that name.Copy !req
390. How do you even call yourself a principal?Copy !req
391. Okay, this is... this is it. This is not...Copy !req
392. Emma?Copy !req
393. Emma? What was that about? It's so unfair.Copy !req
394. Will, your kids have
worked so hard for this.Copy !req
395. Did you know he's already given
your choir room to the Mock UN?Copy !req
396. A deal's a deal. We lost, Emma.Copy !req
397. Because Sue cheated!Copy !req
398. She cheated, Will, and where do you thinkCopy !req
399. all that money's going? It's going rightCopy !req
400. into her pockets. We just...Copy !req
401. We can't let her win this one!Copy !req
402. How can you just stand there
and be so calm about this?Copy !req
403. How can you just give up so easily?Copy !req
404. I've tried, Emma,Copy !req
405. okay? It...Copy !req
406. It-It's over.Copy !req
407. No. No, it's never over.Copy !req
408. I don't care what anybody says.Copy !req
409. Some things are worth fighting for.Copy !req
410. You mean like the kids? Yes, of course.Copy !req
411. Anything else? No.Copy !req
412. No. This is about the glee club.
This is not about us.Copy !req
413. The hell it is.Copy !req
414. I love you, Emma.Copy !req
415. There, I finally said it.Copy !req
416. And you love me, and dentist or no,Copy !req
417. this thing isn't over between us.Copy !req
418. Mr. Schuester?Copy !req
419. Yeah.Copy !req
420. Can you please come to the auditorium?Copy !req
421. Sure.Copy !req
422. So we have something we need to say to you.Copy !req
423. In the beginning of this year,Copy !req
424. I was just another football player.Copy !req
425. I had a stutter.Copy !req
426. I was a closeted diva.Copy !req
427. I used to be captain of the Cheerios.Copy !req
428. I was afraid to dance outside my room.Copy !req
429. I hated everyone in this club.Copy !req
430. So did I.Copy !req
431. I wasn't honest about who I was.Copy !req
432. I was tossing kids into Dumpsters.Copy !req
433. I had never kissed a girl before.Copy !req
434. And I was getting slushied.Copy !req
435. I didn't-I didn't have a father.Copy !req
436. Someone I could look up to.Copy !req
437. Model myself after.Copy !req
438. Someone who could show me what
it really meant to be a man.Copy !req
439. We don't care what the judges say.Copy !req
440. We won.Copy !req
441. Because we had you as a teacher.Copy !req
442. And Glee Club will never end,Copy !req
443. Mr. Shue, because...Copy !req
444. you are Glee Club.Copy !req
445. And you're in all of us now.Copy !req
446. It's as barren as me in here, Will.Copy !req
447. Moving on to greener pastures?Copy !req
448. Did you just come to gloat, Sue?Copy !req
449. Mostly.Copy !req
450. Well... congratulations.Copy !req
