1. Doctor?

2. Doctor!

3. Doctor?

4. Doctor!

5. No Doctor.

6. Perhaps he's inside.

7. Doctor!

8. Doctor!

9. Steven...

10. Look.

11. He's trying to say something.

12. Well, thank goodness for that!

13. The plan has failed.

14. We can't be certain.

15. Although the time-travelling Monk has not yet contacted us,

16. we don't know what difficulties he's had to face.

17. The Earth hour allowed has expired.

18. In the present situation, we can't afford to measure time exactly.

19. The Time Traveller has deceived us.

20. I don't think so.

21. He dare not.

22. Will the Daleks never learn that all things do not work to a pattern?

23. - That flexibility can also lead to conquest? - Silence!

24. All Daleks will disembark.

25. All forms of life will be treated as hostile.

26. We obey!

27. You, Chen, will come with us.

28. Recovery of the taranium core was made my responsibility.

29. - Orders will not be questioned! - If you insist on this approach,

30. I will not answer for the consequences!

31. - And it was the Doctor who did this? - Yes. It's absolutely unbelievable.

32. - I admit I succumbed to temptation... - What did the Doctor say?

33. Nothing. I was trying to warn him about the Daleks,

34. and suddenly I was in the sarcophagus.

35. I'm sure he'll apologise when he hears your story.

36. I'm not one to bear a grudge, and we all know what the Doctor's like.

37. - I think it was just one of those things. - Where did he go?

38. I don't know. After this brutal attack, the next thing I remember was...

39. - He's probably looking for us. - What do we do?

40. Go out and possibly miss him or stay here?

41. - If he meets the Daleks, he'll need our help. - Stay here definitely. I've got a headache.

42. No doubt the Doctor's got some drug or other?

43. - If you give me the key to the TARDIS... - What about him?

44. He can come with us.

45. - That way, we can keep an eye on him. - Come on, then.

46. What are you waiting for?

47. Are you going to let me into the TARDIS or not?

48. I couldn't even if I wanted to. The Doctor's the only one with a key.

49. Come on. We'll find him.

50. That's what I'm worried about.

51. Doctor!

52. Doctor!

53. Doctor! Where are you?

54. Doctor! Doctor!

55. There you are, you see? You're wasting your time.

56. Doctor!

57. - It's hopeless. - I know, but what else can we do?

58. There you are. I've been looking for you.

59. - Who's that? - You will join the other human.

60. Move!

61. - Prepare to exterminate them. - Exterminate?

62. - I've fulfilled my part of the bargain. - Give me the taranium core!

63. I haven't got the core, but I've brought you hostages.

64. Hostages?

65. Hostages...

66. Yes... That could work. The Doctor's loyalty to his friends is beyond question.

67. - No more discussion! - In exchange for their lives,

68. the Doctor would hand us the core of the time destruct or.

69. Is that true?

70. Their silence confirms it. They know that it's true.

71. - Take them back to the time machine. - I obey.

72. - Well, now that that little problem's settled... - You will return with us!

73. Return with you. That's what I was going to say.

74. Master!

75. - The prisoners escaped. - Escaped? We left the tomb unsealed.

76. - We must take the men and go after them. - No, the war machines would destroy us all.

77. Hyksos said he would return when the sun was above us. We do not have long to wait.

78. The voice-audio has been adjusted.

79. What is its present range?

80. Seven Earth miles.

81. Mavic Chen can issue the ultimatum.

82. - Bring Chen to the voice-audio. - I obey.

83. Well, there seems to be quite a bit of activity going on.

84. - What's wrong? S it something I've said? - Haven't you done enough?

85. Done enough? Yes, I suppose that saving your life would be...

86. - What? - Well, we're all here, aren't we?

87. - It was very quick thinking on my part. - I don't believe it!

88. You actually think I meant what I said to the Daleks?

89. This was a desperate gamble, risking my own life to save yours.

90. We can trust him about as much as we can trust the Daleks!

91. You mean my performance was that good?

92. I knew I had to fool the Daleks, but I thought you would see through it.

93. He could be telling the truth, Steven.

94. Could be? Only could be?

95. You don't think I'd take the side of these creatures against you, do you?

96. Honestly! This baffles me, destroys my faith in human nature.

97. Well, you can have your faith destroyed.

98. Steven...

99. Speak the ultimatum into the voice-audio!

100. Doctor!

101. Doctor, you should be able to hear me now, wherever you are. But...

102. Continue. Voice-audio is functioning.

103. - A kind of loudspeaker system. - Yes.

104. Maybe it would be better if the Doctor didn't hear it.

105. Doctor, listen carefully to what I have to say.

106. It is useless to try and fight us any more.

107. Your two young friends are held prisoners by the Daleks.

108. You know why we have pursued you through time and space.

109. We want the taranium that you stole.

110. You are to proceed to the DALEK time machine, south of the Great Pyramid,

111. and receive your instructions.

112. The vital core will be returned to us.

113. Failure will mean the death of your friends.

114. Master, it is the voice of the gods.

115. No, Tuthmos. The gods would speak words we understood.

116. Who else but the gods could speak in a voice like thunder?

117. The same mortals who would build war machines that throw fire.

118. When Hyksos returns, you will see the end of your gods!

119. For your sake, I hope the Doctor does not keep us waiting long.

120. We must try and warn the Doctor.

121. Warn him? Whatever for?

122. - If one of us could get to that microphone... - That would make him more determined.

123. I'm here. Tell me what you want me to do.

124. I am here. Can you hear me?

125. Yes, Doctor. We heard you.

126. - Where are they? - Now, come, Doctor...

127. Where are they?

128. It seems the Doctor requires proof of what we say.

129. Put the prisoners on view.

130. We want the taranium core back, and there's nothing you can do to stop us now.

131. - Hello, Doctor! - Silence!

132. Very well. I will hand over the taranium core.

133. - Ah! Very wise. - But on my terms!

134. You are in no position to make demands, Doctor!

135. - A Dalek escort will... - No escort, and on my terms!

136. We could exterminate you now!

137. Yes, indeed you could,

138. but then you'd never get back the taranium core, would you, now?

139. Would you?

140. - What are your terms, Doctor? - You will release your prisoners.

141. I also include that Monk fellow, though I don't know why I should bother with him.

142. Bring all three to the place of rendezvous, and hand them over at the same time.

143. Why can't you come here?

144. You should know the answer to that as well as I do.

145. None of you can be trusted.

146. You and one Dalek at the west angle of the Great Pyramid.

147. We accept. Take the prisoners inside.

148. I should go now, Doctor,

149. before the Daleks change their minds.

150. I 'am surprised that you met his terms so readily.

151. One Dalek is capable of exterminating all!

152. Khephren!

153. - Have you enough men? - Yes.

154. They're awaiting my command. Have the war machines been seen?

155. No, but we have heard them speak with a mighty roar.

156. My men will soon destroy them! Come!

157. It is time for the rendezvous.

158. You heard what the Dalek said.

159. If you try any more of your funny business, I'll exterminate you myself!

160. Funny business?

161. Me?

162. Be on your guard.

163. The war machines of fire will destroy without warning. Follow me.

164. Halt!

165. This is the location.

166. Mavic Chen, you will receive the taranium.

167. Yes, of course.

168. There will be no movement until the handover is completed.

169. It's not being done on your terms. Why don't you shut up?

170. Stay where you are. You will move when I tell you to.

171. Mavic Chen, walk towards me.

172. Dalek, halt!

173. Mavic Chen, you have disregarded my conditions.

174. - I said ONE DALEK. - But I am not their master.

175. Before we go any further, you will release your hostages.

176. Then, and only then, will I hand you the taranium core.

177. Don't trust them, Doctor!

178. You are released,

179. Away, all of you!

180. Mavic Chen, join me at the back here.

181. I am now about to hand over the taranium core to Mavic Chen.

182. Follow me.

183. Smash the war machines! Smash them to bits!

184. Defence formation!

185. Help! Help!

186. You did it, Doctor! We got away again!

187. - I'm afraid not, young man. - Why not, Doctor? What went wrong?

188. I had to hand the real taranium core over to Mavic Chen.

189. I should have tried to get him, but it was hopeless.

190. There was so much chaos going on. Now it's too late.

191. That means the Daleks have won. There's nothing to stop them now.

192. - Except this. - What's that?

193. That is the directional unit from the Monk's TARDIS.

194. Directional?

195. With this, we can get back to Kembel!

196. - Perhaps. - That's marvellous.

197. Yes, I suppose it is, but that isn't all, my dear...

198. This is hardly the time or the place to chat.

199. - The Daleks will be here soon. - I think not, dear boy.

200. I had to take precautionary measures in case my plans didn't work.

201. Whilst I was collecting that unit,

202. I changed the Monk's TARDIS into a police telephone box.

203. - Like yours? - Yes. Exactly like mine.

204. Of course, the Daleks will be on our track,

205. but should my plan succeed,

206. they will find the Monk!

207. What happened to him? He was with us.

208. I don't care if he is in Timbuktu.

209. I got away from that Steven and Sara!

210. The Doctor! He's transformed my TARDIS.

211. There is one of the Time Travellers! Stop his escape!

212. Exterminate him!

213. Combined fire!

214. They have escaped. We shall pursue them through eternity.

215. The taranium core must be recovered!

216. This patrol is out of touch with events.

217. - What do you mean? - All this hysteria is unnecessary.

218. The operation was a complete success.

219. I have the taranium here.

220. You have done well.

221. Patrol, return to the time machine.

222. We must leave for Kembel at once.

223. Well, I hope the Daleks don't catch the Monk.

224. - After all that he's done? - Yes.

225. I shouldn't worry, my dear boy. He's right away by now.

226. Do you think he'll come looking for revenge again?

227. Perhaps. One day.

228. At the moment, I should say that he's had quite enough of us for a while.

229. Without his directional unit, it will take time to make the necessary repairs to his ship.

230. - What about our repairs? Will the unit work? - I'm not certain. It's a Mark Four, remember.

231. There are two possibilities.

232. - One, it will work... - Go on, Doctor.

233. Number two, the increased energy rate will destroy the centre column.

234. But we do have a chance?

235. Yes, my dear.

236. A chance. A slim one.

237. Course for Kembel has now been computed,

238. Have all preparations for take-off been made?

239. They have. Prepare to dematerialise.

240. Now!

241. A planet of ice?

242. I didn't set course for this.

243. The Doctor again. The Doctor!

244. He's stolen my directional unit!

245. Now I'll have to wander through time and space as lost as he is!

246. I'll get you for this, Doctor!

247. I'll get you one day!

248. There we are.

249. That's finished. It's a pity we haven't a more reliable way of testing it.

250. Come on. I thought you said it was finished.

251. Yes, it's finished, but...

252. We haven't time got time for "buts". This is our only hope.

253. - You realise we're taking a terrible chance? - You can save your breath.

254. We've got to try it.

255. Very well, my boy. Pull the main switch.
