1. No! No, no, no.Copy !req
2. So, if we can't get home,Copy !req
3. and if the TARDIS isn't broken,
then it means what?Copy !req
4. Planet Earth is broken or 2025 is broken?Copy !req
5. Have we been invaded or hit by
a meteor or swatted by a giant moth?Copy !req
6. Oh.Copy !req
7. Imagine a moth that big!Copy !req
8. But really?Copy !req
9. 'Cause my parents are back home.Copy !req
10. And if this is Friday,
then they go to this bar with their matesCopy !req
11. and my dad sings and everyone laughs
and then the whole room ends up singing.Copy !req
12. Is that still happening, Doctor?Copy !req
13. Are they safe?Copy !req
14. I hope so.Copy !req
15. You hope?Copy !req
16. Come here.Copy !req
17. I will meet your mum and dad.Copy !req
18. And I will make your dad laugh.Copy !req
19. And your mum can whistle at my behind.Copy !req
20. And I will sing. I will do the singing.Copy !req
21. That is a promise.Copy !req
22. You can't promise.Copy !req
23. Look at me.Copy !req
24. I can.Copy !req
25. I will.Copy !req
26. I do.Copy !req
27. Oh.Copy !req
28. Right. Right.Copy !req
29. Belinda Chandra, we go out there,
we take another Vindicator reading,Copy !req
30. because each single reading
brings us closer to home.Copy !req
31. Where have we landed?Copy !req
32. Uh...Copy !req
33. Oh.Copy !req
34. 500,000 years in the future.
We have jumped, baby.Copy !req
35. But that's massive.Copy !req
36. Do we still exist?Copy !req
37. I mean... I mean me, I mean human beings.Copy !req
38. Is there still a human race
in 500,000 years?Copy !req
39. There is always a human race.Copy !req
40. You voyage out there and own it.Copy !req
41. Far and wide, across the stars.Copy !req
42. - Come and see?
- W-Wait.Copy !req
43. Do they still speak English?Copy !req
44. The TARDIS translates.Copy !req
45. Try it.Copy !req
46. Do we get to change our clothes?Copy !req
47. Girl, you are beginning to enjoy this!Copy !req
48. At last. Come on!Copy !req
49. What, what, what, what, what.Copy !req
50. - Okay!
- Come on.Copy !req
51. That looks good.Copy !req
52. Hiya. I hope you don't mind.Copy !req
53. My name is the Doctor, this is Belinda.Copy !req
54. We're just popping in, really.Copy !req
55. Helmets!Copy !req
56. Attach!Copy !req
57. - Better had.
- Auto-seals on!Copy !req
58. - And jump, jump, jump!
- What?Copy !req
59. What do you mean jump? But we're not...Copy !req
60. It's okay. It's okay.Copy !req
61. Look.Copy !req
62. Oh, my God.Copy !req
63. Life with you.Copy !req
64. I know. I know, I know.Copy !req
65. But...Copy !req
66. look.Copy !req
67. Explain yourselves.Copy !req
68. Immediately.Copy !req
69. My name is the Doctor.Copy !req
70. This is Nurse Belinda Chandra.Copy !req
71. Who's your commanding
officer back at base?Copy !req
72. Squadron Leader Chinchappa.Copy !req
73. Well, I'm higher than Chinchappa.Copy !req
74. See?Copy !req
75. Apologies.Copy !req
76. I am Platoon Leader Shaya Costallion.Copy !req
77. I was not informed of your presence.Copy !req
78. Well, that's the point.Copy !req
79. We're like mystery shoppers.Copy !req
80. Now, we just need to vindicate...Copy !req
81. Done. Babes, we're vindicated.Copy !req
82. And now you can return us to our blue boxCopy !req
83. which is in your ship thing in the sky.Copy !req
84. - Immediately.
- But how do we do that?Copy !req
85. This is a test?Copy !req
86. - Yes.
- Yes.Copy !req
87. - Yes. Yes.
- Yes.Copy !req
88. This is Planet 6-7-6-7 and the atmosphere
is charged with Galvanic Radiation.Copy !req
89. It would strip the engines bare.Copy !req
90. The ship needs to
slide down at retrograde velocity.Copy !req
91. Which will take how long?Copy !req
92. Five hours.Copy !req
93. So,Copy !req
94. we've got five hours?Copy !req
95. Can we breathe for five hours?Copy !req
96. You can breathe in
that suit for five months.Copy !req
97. Correct answer. Good.Copy !req
98. So, imagine I don't know
anything about this mission.Copy !req
99. Tell me, from scratch,Copy !req
100. what the hell are you doing here?Copy !req
101. Because Galvanic Radiation is tough.Copy !req
102. Nothing can live on a rock like this,
but you've travelled all this way.Copy !req
103. What for?Copy !req
104. Colony Base 15.Copy !req
105. Basic mining operation with
a mercury drop-line,Copy !req
106. stripping a layer of Carbon 46.Copy !req
107. Fifteen days ago all contact was lost.Copy !req
108. Base went silent.Copy !req
109. - How many colonists?
- Thirty-five.Copy !req
110. Trooper 3, any signs of life?Copy !req
111. Nothing. No movement.Copy !req
112. No damage to the dome.Copy !req
113. We can't scan for heartbeats because
of the radiation, so there's still hope.Copy !req
114. Hope is irrelevant.Copy !req
115. Thank you.Copy !req
116. Troopers, advance.Copy !req
117. The airlock only takes six.Copy !req
118. Doctor and Belinda with me,
plus Troopers 1 to 3.Copy !req
119. Troopers 4 to 9, follow us in.Copy !req
120. 10, maintain exterior guard.Copy !req
121. Internal team, unmask.Copy !req
122. Discard flight packs.Copy !req
123. Trooper 2, sortie, take Walkway One.Copy !req
124. Any threat to life,
you have permission, shoot to kill.Copy !req
125. I keep thinking,Copy !req
126. this planet's uninhabited,
but they're mining.Copy !req
127. - Could something live underground?
- Impossible.Copy !req
128. That radiation,
it soaks through everything.Copy !req
129. Right down to the core.Copy !req
130. This whole world is cold,
lifeless and dead.Copy !req
131. You should stay suited.Copy !req
132. Oh, I'm just not loving the look, babes.Copy !req
133. I come in peace.Copy !req
134. It's not appropriate to call me babes.Copy !req
135. Okay, hon.Copy !req
136. We have a body.Copy !req
137. - Don't touch them!
- No, but they might still be alive.Copy !req
138. Okay, no. Sorry, that's...
They've been dead for a while.Copy !req
139. I'd say that
he's broken his neck.Copy !req
140. Or...Copy !req
141. broken everything.Copy !req
142. Oh, my gosh.Copy !req
143. This one has been shot in the back.Copy !req
144. Laser fire.Copy !req
145. There must've been a fight.Copy !req
146. But why?Copy !req
147. Nothing in here.Copy !req
148. This one's got a broken neck.Copy !req
149. This one is laser fire.Copy !req
150. "Chalona Rosani."Copy !req
151. I'm sorry, Chalona.Copy !req
152. We will find out what happened to you.Copy !req
153. They broke all the mirrors.Copy !req
154. Every single room. There's no mirrors.Copy !req
155. You're right. Same in here.Copy !req
156. Whatever did this was strong.Copy !req
157. Half of them have been shot,
half of them have been assaulted.Copy !req
158. What sort of fight is that?Copy !req
159. What if no one's alive?Copy !req
160. What do we do then?Copy !req
161. What we should've done in the first place.Copy !req
162. Nuke this site from orbit.Copy !req
163. There's a heartbeat!Copy !req
164. Weapons up.Copy !req
165. Single heartbeat, inside that room.Copy !req
166. - It could be a survivor.
- It could be the killer.Copy !req
167. It could be both.Copy !req
168. Squadron, keep a safe distance.Copy !req
169. Can you take me home?Copy !req
170. Honey, we can do whatever you want.Copy !req
171. - Do not approach.
- Doctor, be careful.Copy !req
172. I have a daughter on Monpasso.Copy !req
173. And she's with her grandad
and she's two years old.Copy !req
174. And I just want to see her.Copy !req
175. That's Sal.
I shot her, all right. I did it.Copy !req
176. But she were gonna kill me.Copy !req
177. You, do not move.Copy !req
178. Eyes on me at all times.
Do you understand?Copy !req
179. Yes.Copy !req
180. Who are you?Copy !req
181. My name is Aliss Fenly
and I just want to go home.Copy !req
182. Confirmed on the manifest.Copy !req
183. Aliss Pabba Fenly, 28.
Citizen of Monpasso.Copy !req
184. One daughter, Pelody.Copy !req
185. I need you to keep everything audible.
No private conversations.Copy !req
186. - Okay. Gotcha.
- Yes.Copy !req
187. It doesn't matter the year.Copy !req
188. Signing still makes some people paranoid.Copy !req
189. Hi. My name is the Doctor.Copy !req
190. I don't need a doctor.
I just want to go home.Copy !req
191. Aliss, tell us exactly what happened.
Why did you kill this woman?Copy !req
192. But they all...Copy !req
193. They all went mad.Copy !req
194. Every single person
just went mad and it all happened so fast.Copy !req
195. But not you?Copy !req
196. But that's Sal and she was my friend.Copy !req
197. But she was gonna kill me
with her bare hands.Copy !req
198. I have never fired a gun in my life,
but what else could I do?Copy !req
199. I'm just a cook.Copy !req
200. I've been here for 12 months
and I cooked for them and that's all.Copy !req
201. But it's not even cooking.Copy !req
202. I just open a flat-pack protein
and add some salt.Copy !req
203. And that's what I do every single day.Copy !req
204. But I had to kill my best friend.Copy !req
205. Are you hurt?Copy !req
206. I'm sorry, I don't know how to sign.Copy !req
207. But your arm, does it hurt?Copy !req
208. I ran and I fell.Copy !req
209. Everyone was panicking.Copy !req
210. - Can I...
- Do not approach.Copy !req
211. Oh, come on.Copy !req
212. Do I just clip it on?Copy !req
213. Yeah. Just... There you go.Copy !req
214. Just talk.Copy !req
215. Hi.Copy !req
216. It's okay.Copy !req
217. I'm a nurse.Copy !req
218. A nurse who can't sign?Copy !req
219. That's against the law.Copy !req
220. Well, we have different laws.Copy !req
221. But you're right, it should be the law.Copy !req
222. Aliss. Can I ask?Copy !req
223. You've been on your own for a long time?Copy !req
224. Fifteen days.Copy !req
225. Hmm.Copy !req
226. What happened? Do you know?Copy !req
227. They all went crazy.Copy !req
228. Was there noise?Copy !req
229. A gas?Copy !req
230. This mineshaft operates as a mercury drop.Copy !req
231. Was there any mercury that escaped?Copy !req
232. - I don't know.
- Why did they smash all the mirrors?Copy !req
233. It's okay. It's okay.Copy !req
234. Is there a medical pack or something?Copy !req
235. So we just abandon all protocol,
is that it, ma'am?Copy !req
236. Well, she doesn't look like she could
break the necks of half the crew.Copy !req
237. You hope. And hope is irrelevant.Copy !req
238. Okay.Copy !req
239. Doctor, we need to get to Central Control.
Stay here if you want...Copy !req
240. Oh, I gotta see that.Copy !req
241. I won't be long. Belinda's got you. Yeah?Copy !req
242. Bel, be careful of her.Copy !req
243. I can still lip-read.Copy !req
244. Troopers, 2 to 6, stay on guard.Copy !req
245. Clear the body.Copy !req
246. Fifteen foot radius round
Aliss Fenly at all times.Copy !req
247. Any sign of trouble, shoot to kill.Copy !req
248. Sorry it's only a basic pack.Copy !req
249. Um, thanks, but I don't know
what any of this is.Copy !req
250. You're a funny sort of nurse.Copy !req
251. Well, that has been said.Copy !req
252. I suppose it's common sense.Copy !req
253. Bandages, swabs.Copy !req
254. Simolin!Copy !req
255. It's just a graze.Copy !req
256. I'm gonna clean it
and then it will stop stinging.Copy !req
257. I know you've had a terrible time.Copy !req
258. But we're gonna do
everything we can to help.Copy !req
259. That's so kind.Copy !req
260. All clear, safe to proceed.Copy !req
261. No bodies.Copy !req
262. Maybe they ran from this place first.
That's a nice thought.Copy !req
263. So, what? This is the seed-well, yeah?Copy !req
264. This is where they first dropped
the mercury-lines and drilled down.Copy !req
265. Capable of hauling up two
blades of Carbon 46 every day.Copy !req
266. Hello!Copy !req
267. No one home.Copy !req
268. A well that runs five miles deep
beneath the planet's crust.Copy !req
269. Where light has never been before.Copy !req
270. Nothing's responding.Copy !req
271. Someone's put a good old-fashioned
restraining bolt on the system.Copy !req
272. There.Copy !req
273. Whoa. Whoa, whoa. Don't hit the roof.Copy !req
274. Careful, boss.Copy !req
275. Good shot.Copy !req
276. I was brought up in the wildlands.Copy !req
277. Shooting drought-sharks
from the age of six.Copy !req
278. I could run faster than a snake-lighter.
That's how I got into the forces.Copy !req
279. Fourteen years old.Copy !req
280. That's a bit young.Copy !req
281. The fight began the day I was born.Copy !req
282. I'm a citizen of Lombardo.Copy !req
283. Oh.Copy !req
284. Tough.Copy !req
285. Brutal.Copy !req
286. So in this century Lombardo's
a joint foundation with Planet Earth.Copy !req
287. - Belinda's from Earth.
- From where?Copy !req
288. Planet Earth.Copy !req
289. - Never heard of it.
- Stupid name for a planet.Copy !req
290. But the human race, you've heard of that?Copy !req
291. Not in these parts.Copy !req
292. But Earth is part of
the foundation right now, that's a fact.Copy !req
293. Your tests are very strange.Copy !req
294. Now, see if you can revive
the Base Log Stats and Index File.Copy !req
295. Let's find out what happened here.Copy !req
296. It's bad luck,
me and the Doctor coming along.Copy !req
297. 'Cause you were a squad of 11
and we made it 13.Copy !req
298. You both say funny things.Copy !req
299. What does that mean?Copy !req
300. Oh, has that gone?Copy !req
301. Thirteen is unlucky,
is that an old Earth thing?Copy !req
302. An old what thing?Copy !req
303. Earth.Copy !req
304. The human race?Copy !req
305. What's that then?Copy !req
306. Have you ever heard of...Copy !req
307. What?Copy !req
308. - What is it?
- What is it? What happened?Copy !req
309. I thought I saw...Copy !req
310. I'm getting paranoid.Copy !req
311. - What did you see?
- I didn't.Copy !req
312. Anyone there?Copy !req
313. Honestly, there's nothing.Copy !req
314. It's just me.Copy !req
315. Sorry, Aliss.Copy !req
316. I want to go home.Copy !req
317. Is it ready?Copy !req
318. Yeah.Copy !req
319. Just paste that on.
Here I am, teaching the nursing staff.Copy !req
320. You're amazing. Thanks, Mo.Copy !req
321. Okay.Copy !req
322. I'm just going to paste this
onto the wound.Copy !req
323. I was saying,
traditions of the human race.Copy !req
324. Have you ever met any? Humans, I mean.Copy !req
325. I never heard of you.Copy !req
326. They've wiped all the video chains.Copy !req
327. Why would they do that?Copy !req
328. Everything's been erased.Copy !req
329. Everything...Copy !req
330. has been restored.Copy !req
331. - What's that thing?
- Magic.Copy !req
332. Can you find the last entry?Copy !req
333. Troop Leader,
does this doctor have authority over me?Copy !req
334. Right now, he does. Yes.Copy !req
335. It's still corrupted.Copy !req
336. We have fragments, hold on.Copy !req
337. Base Commander's final statement.Copy !req
338. It came from the well.Copy !req
339. It came out of the well
and we don't know how to stop it!Copy !req
340. Ma'am.Copy !req
341. - Not now. Thank you.
- It's just...Copy !req
342. We checked the walkways.Copy !req
343. We found the rest of them dead.Copy !req
344. Which confirms,
Aliss Fenly is the only one left alive.Copy !req
345. It's so strange.Copy !req
346. 'Cause the Doctor said,
and I should mention, I hardly know him.Copy !req
347. Isn't that strange?Copy !req
348. But he's the expertCopy !req
349. and he said to me that everyone...Copy !req
350. What? What is it? What's...Copy !req
351. - What's happened?
- What is it? What did she do?Copy !req
352. No, she didn't do anything.Copy !req
353. Um...Copy !req
354. I'm st... I'm stupid.Copy !req
355. There's nothing there.Copy !req
356. - Sorry.
- Yeah, but that's twice now.Copy !req
357. What did you see?Copy !req
358. Please, can you tell me
what you're saying?Copy !req
359. I'm sorry, Aliss.
I... I didn't mean to scare you.Copy !req
360. I just...Copy !req
361. I thought I saw something behind you.Copy !req
362. But there isn't, isn't there?Copy !req
363. Look at me.Copy !req
364. I'm all clean.Copy !req
365. It's just me.Copy !req
366. - What did it look like?
- Well, it didn't.Copy !req
367. It's an empty room, there's no one there.Copy !req
368. You thought you saw a person?Copy !req
369. Well, I... I didn't, did I?Copy !req
370. Now, I-I've got this dirty.Copy !req
371. All the same.Copy !req
372. - Stay where you are, Aliss Fenly.
- Where exactly am I gonna go?Copy !req
373. Keep it calm, thank you.Copy !req
374. What?Copy !req
375. Nothing.Copy !req
376. - Did you see something?
- No.Copy !req
377. Then what was that?Copy !req
378. Nothing.Copy !req
379. It's a great big empty room.
There can't be anything, can there?Copy !req
380. Aliss.Copy !req
381. Sorry. Cast to Trooper 2.Copy !req
382. Aliss, turn to your right.Copy !req
383. I don't know what you're trying to prove.Copy !req
384. Leave her alone, Mo.Copy !req
385. - Come on.
- No, but...Copy !req
386. Whoa!Copy !req
387. There's nothing there. Look.Copy !req
388. I can see there's not anything.
There's literally nothing.Copy !req
389. I saw something.Copy !req
390. And you saw it before,
you did, you saw it.Copy !req
391. - But there's nothing there.
- Yeah, but I saw something.Copy !req
392. I know what you're saying.Copy !req
393. And I've seen it before.
This is how it started.Copy !req
394. This is how I ended up killing my friend
before she killed me.Copy !req
395. There is absolutely nothing behind me.Copy !req
396. There's nothing there. Nothing.Copy !req
397. Okay.Copy !req
398. Let's prove it.Copy !req
399. Hanno, I'll keep guard.Copy !req
400. I want you to correspond.Copy !req
401. Establish Aliss Fenly as a centre point
and execute a full circle.Copy !req
402. Ple... Please, leave me alone.Copy !req
403. Look, she's terrified.Copy !req
404. You will be quiet or you will be
considered a threat to life.Copy !req
405. You will stay looking at me.Copy !req
406. Do not look away.Copy !req
407. Hanno, execute the move.Copy !req
408. Yes, sir.Copy !req
409. Him. Isolate him.Copy !req
410. Can you isolate his sound?Copy !req
411. There's no coverage, he's too deep.Copy !req
412. We don't know what it is!Copy !req
413. We don't know what it is!Copy !req
414. We don't know what it is.Copy !req
415. We don't know what it is.Copy !req
416. Like...Copy !req
417. Like...Copy !req
418. Oh, my old, old head.Copy !req
419. This planet is flooded
with Galvanic Radiation.Copy !req
420. Where does it come from?Copy !req
421. The sun. But it's just a Grey Star now.
Nothing special.Copy !req
422. But a Grey Star is
a star that's collapsed.Copy !req
423. - What was it before?
- It was an Xtonic star.Copy !req
424. But that's ancient history,
400,000 years ago.Copy !req
425. The sun burnt out, the wars came,Copy !req
426. they stripped all the carbon
off the surface and left it ruined.Copy !req
427. When you say Carbon...Copy !req
428. Carbon 46.Copy !req
429. And the definition of that is?Copy !req
430. Diamonds. This is a diamond mine.Copy !req
431. The entire surface of this planet
was once made out of diamonds.Copy !req
432. What?Copy !req
433. Please stop.Copy !req
434. Or what?Copy !req
435. What is this planet called?Copy !req
436. 6-7-6-7.Copy !req
437. The old name.Copy !req
438. 400,000 years ago,
what was the planet called?Copy !req
439. It was called Midnight.Copy !req
440. I've been here before.Copy !req
441. - What did you do?
- It wasn't me.Copy !req
442. - I didn't do anything!
- She was just standing there!Copy !req
443. Stop, stop, stop. Get back! Get back.Copy !req
444. - What happened?
- She threw her across the room.Copy !req
445. She did not.Copy !req
446. No, Mo, don't!Copy !req
447. Come back!Copy !req
448. - What did you do?
- It wasn't me.Copy !req
449. It wasn't her. Mo, come back!Copy !req
450. Just listen to me. Come back here!Copy !req
451. - She's dead.
- Mo, don't go behind Aliss!Copy !req
452. Don't go anywhere behind her!Copy !req
453. Come here! Don't you see?Copy !req
454. What do you mean?Copy !req
455. There is something behind her.Copy !req
456. Hold your positions. What happened?
Everyone, stay where you are.Copy !req
457. - Report, Trooper 2.
- Is she dead?Copy !req
458. - I don't know, ma'am.
- She's dead.Copy !req
459. - I trained with her brother.
- It was so fast.Copy !req
460. - Did you do this?
- Just try and stay calm.Copy !req
461. I do not take orders from you!Copy !req
462. - Did you kill her?
- No!Copy !req
463. Then who did?Copy !req
464. There's something behind me.Copy !req
465. All right?Copy !req
466. There's something behind me!Copy !req
467. I don't know what it is.Copy !req
468. No one knows what it is.Copy !req
469. But it can't be seen
and it can't be stopped.Copy !req
470. There's something behind me all the time.Copy !req
471. Now please, help me.Copy !req
472. Aliss...Copy !req
473. explain what you mean.Copy !req
474. Something came out of the well.Copy !req
475. That's what they said.Copy !req
476. It came out the well,
and they said it was laughing.Copy !req
477. Now it's behind me.Copy !req
478. Just look. Look, behind her.Copy !req
479. Please, all of you, look!Copy !req
480. It doesn't make sense,
there can't be something behind her,Copy !req
481. not from every angle.Copy !req
482. Try telling it that.Copy !req
483. Look.Copy !req
484. No!Copy !req
485. This is just an illusion or a trick.Copy !req
486. We saw what happened to the base,
they all went mad.Copy !req
487. No! Hold on! Listen...Copy !req
488. Permission to override
the orders of this civilian, ma'am.Copy !req
489. - Permission not given.
- Hanno was my friend.Copy !req
490. Permission not given.Copy !req
491. - Now listen to the Doctor.
- No, no.Copy !req
492. Listen to Belinda.Copy !req
493. Bel, what do you mean?Copy !req
494. Why can't we go behind Aliss?Copy !req
495. It's like...Copy !req
496. It's like this.Copy !req
497. If this is Aliss,Copy !req
498. and this is us facing her now,Copy !req
499. there is something behind her.Copy !req
500. And if you go behind it,Copy !req
501. you die.Copy !req
502. If it was a clock-face,Copy !req
503. you die at midnight.Copy !req
504. That's what happened.
That is what I saw.Copy !req
505. That's why I keep telling you stand back.Copy !req
506. Don't go behind her.Copy !req
507. Don't go directly behind her
or you're dead.Copy !req
508. In that case...Copy !req
509. if something is standing behind,Copy !req
510. then why don't we get rid of you?Copy !req
511. Because if you kill me,Copy !req
512. it goes behind you.Copy !req
513. What?Copy !req
514. You think it went for me first?Copy !req
515. You think it crawled its way
out of hell to get to me?Copy !req
516. You idiot.Copy !req
517. I'm nothing.Copy !req
518. I'm just the only one left.Copy !req
519. Half of them broken, half of them shot.Copy !req
520. They killed each other to get rid of it.Copy !req
521. But if you kill the host,
it jumps over to you.Copy !req
522. It hides behind your back
and it stays there forever.Copy !req
523. Cassio, step away.Copy !req
524. Cassio, that's an order.Copy !req
525. Doctor, you said you'd been here before.
When was that?Copy !req
526. A different life.Copy !req
527. Back when the world was made of diamonds.Copy !req
528. And I met something...Copy !req
529. so vile.Copy !req
530. It had no face.Copy !req
531. No name.Copy !req
532. No self.Copy !req
533. I had never been so scared in my life.Copy !req
534. - What did it do?
- It had fun.Copy !req
535. Oh.Copy !req
536. It played games.Copy !req
537. Uh-huh.Copy !req
538. I think it was learning.Copy !req
539. You saw this 400,000 years ago?Copy !req
540. And you're listening to him?Copy !req
541. He might have information.Copy !req
542. - Then I'm declaring a Red Code.
- Wait, you can't do that.Copy !req
543. This is exactly what a Red Code is for.Copy !req
544. When the leader is incompetent.Copy !req
545. Am I seconded?Copy !req
546. Am I seconded?Copy !req
547. Yes, sir.Copy !req
548. Then it's done.Copy !req
549. Until such time as we reach
a disciplinary court,Copy !req
550. the Red Code stands.Copy !req
551. You will stand down,
Shaya Costallion, right now.Copy !req
552. I think that we should all just calm down.Copy !req
553. And you will be silent
or you will be shot!Copy !req
554. Clearly, there is something at work here.Copy !req
555. Clearly, bodies have been brokenCopy !req
556. by some kinetic force
manipulated either by Fenly,Copy !req
557. or by something in collusion with,
or in control of her.Copy !req
558. - And I maintain...
- No, don't.Copy !req
559. If it exists,Copy !req
560. we will bring this entity into the open.Copy !req
561. We will examine it.Copy !req
562. And if necessary, we will destroy it.Copy !req
563. Trooper 2?Copy !req
564. - Yes, sir?
- Do you volunteer to engage?Copy !req
565. - Yes, sir.
- I'm telling you.Copy !req
566. - Do not...
- One more word.Copy !req
567. Either we disprove this story
or we meet the enemy.Copy !req
568. Prepare to engage.Copy !req
569. - Don't look. Don't look!
- Shut up!Copy !req
570. Please.Copy !req
571. Cassio, stop!Copy !req
572. Don't move! No, no!Copy !req
573. No! No!Copy !req
574. Don't move!Copy !req
575. Stop! Do not move! Stop!Copy !req
576. - No way.
- All of you, look down!Copy !req
577. Do not move!Copy !req
578. Cassio, stay where you are!
Stay where you are!Copy !req
579. Cassio, turn away!Copy !req
580. - Cassio, no!
- Cast to Trooper 1.Copy !req
581. Aliss...Copy !req
582. - turn 180.
- Mm-hmm.Copy !req
583. I had to.Copy !req
584. - I had to. He was out of control.
- That's what it turns us into.Copy !req
585. Shaya, gun down.Copy !req
586. But it's not my fault.Copy !req
587. I know.Copy !req
588. I really know.Copy !req
589. What do we do?Copy !req
590. We leave this place.Copy !req
591. The mission has failed. We retreat.Copy !req
592. I'm sorry.Copy !req
593. You're contaminated.Copy !req
594. But...Copy !req
595. my daughter.Copy !req
596. We can't leave Aliss behind.Copy !req
597. Can't we move her?Copy !req
598. Okay, we can't step behind her,
but can't we manoeuvre her?Copy !req
599. Somehow? Back to the ship?Copy !req
600. She's not leaving this planet.Copy !req
601. Not with that thing.Copy !req
602. That's what it wants.Copy !req
603. To get out.Copy !req
604. - But we can't abandon her.
- That's not what I said.Copy !req
605. Don't turn your back on me.Copy !req
606. Please, don't turn your back on me.Copy !req
607. Doctor, stay where you are.Copy !req
608. Too many people have died.Copy !req
609. And now it stops.Copy !req
610. I am now addressing
the thing behind Aliss Fenly.Copy !req
611. What?Copy !req
612. My old friend.Copy !req
613. You have waited 400,000 years.Copy !req
614. But who are you?Copy !req
615. Are you there?Copy !req
616. What are you?Copy !req
617. - What was that?
- Did it say something?Copy !req
618. Oh.Copy !req
619. Aliss.Copy !req
620. Maybe that's how you survived.Copy !req
621. You can't hear it.Copy !req
622. What is it saying?Copy !req
623. What is it? What's it saying?Copy !req
624. It knows my name.Copy !req
625. Oh, yes.Copy !req
626. What?Copy !req
627. There it is.Copy !req
628. What?Copy !req
629. It's behind you.Copy !req
630. I know.Copy !req
631. No, no.Copy !req
632. I'm talking to the thing behind you.Copy !req
633. And behind that...Copy !req
634. What is... What did you see?Copy !req
635. The way out.Copy !req
636. Oh, and I'm an idiot, because I forgot
what type of mine this is. Oh!Copy !req
637. Everybody, get ready to run.
And I mean run!Copy !req
638. Belinda, we should have
never unsuited, babes.Copy !req
639. We are gonna have to work really,
really fast.Copy !req
640. Shaya, how many in the airlock at once?Copy !req
641. - Six.
- Six?Copy !req
642. Okay, there's seven of us.Copy !req
643. - Shaya, get ready with that pistol.
- For what?Copy !req
644. 'Cause you are the best shot in the land, yeah?Copy !req
645. And I need you to fire twice.Copy !req
646. Aliss Fenly, get ready.Copy !req
647. And now I am talking to
that thing behind Aliss Fenly.Copy !req
648. You stone-cold murderer.Copy !req
649. If the thing behind you
always gets destroyed,Copy !req
650. what if the thing behind you is you?Copy !req
651. Shaya, left hand pipe vent.Copy !req
652. Right hand pipe vent.Copy !req
653. Mercury.Copy !req
654. This mine operates
a line drop of Mercury 16.Copy !req
655. It's going to reflect it.Copy !req
656. It broke all the mirrors.Copy !req
657. It will see itself.Copy !req
658. What will it do to me?Copy !req
659. Aliss, whatever it does to you, yeah,
you have got us, okay?Copy !req
660. We are with you, okay?Copy !req
661. Everybody, eyes on Aliss. Yeah.Copy !req
662. Are we gonna see it?Copy !req
663. Do we look?Copy !req
664. - Do we look away?
- I don't know.Copy !req
665. Okay, run.Copy !req
666. Run, run, run, run.Copy !req
667. We can't stop.Copy !req
668. I wanna see it.Copy !req
669. Troopers 7 and 9, you go first.Copy !req
670. Get Aliss out.Copy !req
671. - Come on.
- You should've got out.Copy !req
672. I'm not leaving you behind.Copy !req
673. Your flight packs are dead.
Just run as far as you can.Copy !req
674. Hurry up. Hurry up!Copy !req
675. Helmets!Copy !req
676. What was that?Copy !req
677. Are we okay?Copy !req
678. But what happened?Copy !req
679. Was that the thing?Copy !req
680. Doctor, what happened?Copy !req
681. - Airlock's clear.
- I am sorry.Copy !req
682. I'm sorry, but we are not going anywhere.Copy !req
683. We can't.Copy !req
684. You don't think?Copy !req
685. It's here.Copy !req
686. It's not me.Copy !req
687. Well, it's not me.Copy !req
688. I swear, it's not me.Copy !req
689. It really isn't me, it really isn't.Copy !req
690. I don't think it's me.Copy !req
691. - No.
- Belinda.Copy !req
692. - No. No, no.
- No, Belinda, it might not be.Copy !req
693. It's whispering.Copy !req
694. Oh, Bel.Copy !req
695. Is it behind me?Copy !req
696. I'm so sorry.Copy !req
697. It is not your fault.Copy !req
698. Take me.Copy !req
699. No.Copy !req
700. Whatever you are.Copy !req
701. Stand behind me.Copy !req
702. Doctor.Copy !req
703. I promised that I would keep you safe.Copy !req
704. And I'm telling that thing behind you...Copy !req
705. Whatever you are.Copy !req
706. You can walk the universe on my backCopy !req
707. if you just set her free.Copy !req
708. Doctor, the physical construction of this
human race, is it similar to Lombardic?Copy !req
709. - What?
- Is the torso constructed the same?Copy !req
710. - Basically.
- Then a shot firedCopy !req
711. three millimetres above the superior
vena cava of the heart could mean death,Copy !req
712. or it could mean
the narrowest of survival.Copy !req
713. - No. No.
- No, no.Copy !req
714. - No.
- No.Copy !req
715. All you need...Copy !req
716. is a very good shot.Copy !req
717. But it'll go to you.Copy !req
718. This is my job.Copy !req
719. I got you. I got you.Copy !req
720. Med-lines. Out of the way.Copy !req
721. Power up to 60
and apply to the heart five times!Copy !req
722. Serving Officer Shaya
Costallion squadron 775.Copy !req
723. I ran as a child.Copy !req
724. I ran from the wildlands.Copy !req
725. I ran from those monsters
and never looked back.Copy !req
726. And I ran across the galaxy with one aim.Copy !req
727. To do my duty.Copy !req
728. To help. To protect.Copy !req
729. To bring hope.Copy !req
730. No!Copy !req
731. Simolin.Copy !req
732. It's all right.Copy !req
733. It's okay, it's okay.Copy !req
734. I've got you. I've got you, Bel.Copy !req
735. - My... My heart...
- Is fine.Copy !req
736. - Okay, okay.
- We got it just in time.Copy !req
737. Super-skin-stitch. All mending.Copy !req
738. - Okay. Okay, okay.
- Okay?Copy !req
739. What happened?Copy !req
740. It's gone.Copy !req
741. And Shaya?Copy !req
742. I'm sorry.Copy !req
743. I couldn't. I tried.Copy !req
744. Did it work?Copy !req
745. Are we safe?Copy !req
746. Yes.Copy !req
747. Doctor...Copy !req
748. they'd never heard of the Earth.Copy !req
749. What's happened to the Earth?Copy !req
750. I don't know.Copy !req
751. How could the Earth not exist?Copy !req
752. And Troop Leader Shaya should be
recommended for posthumous recognition.Copy !req
753. Bravery in the face of impossible odds.Copy !req
754. And Cassio.Copy !req
755. He tried his best.Copy !req
756. The Doctor gave orders
to follow his advice.Copy !req
757. Nuke the site from orbit, never to return.Copy !req
758. And this doctor,
what do we know about him?Copy !req
759. We thought he was sent by you.Copy !req
760. He's got this sort of cargo on the ship.Copy !req
761. A big, tall, blue box.Copy !req
762. Was he carrying this?Copy !req
763. Um, yes. He was, yes.Copy !req
764. Well, that's exactly
what I needed to know.Copy !req
765. Just as I predicted.Copy !req
766. A Vindicator in action.Copy !req
767. That's very good news.Copy !req
768. Thank you.Copy !req
769. Excuse me.Copy !req
770. What was the noise?Copy !req
771. Do you know what, Val?Copy !req
772. I've got absolutely no idea.Copy !req
773. I don't think I know anything anymore.Copy !req
774. You okay?Copy !req
775. - Sounds like a nightmare down there.
- That's the word, yeah.Copy !req
776. I've got to write the reportCopy !req
777. and I couldn't even begin
to tell you what happened.Copy !req
778. What?Copy !req
779. Nothing.Copy !req
780. What is it?Copy !req
781. - My name is Ruby Sunday.
- You haven't hadCopy !req
782. a boyfriend for ages.Copy !req
783. The pheromones marks you as future prey.Copy !req
784. No, they're after you.Copy !req
785. There's something out there.Copy !req
786. We're a team, like you and the Doctor.Copy !req
787. What the hell is going on?Copy !req
