1. Bloodstryke,

2. you're still alive.

3. Good.

4. I have use of you.

5. Do you always do this after your missions?

6. Usually when I kill a demon, I just...

7. I don't know, leave them there.

8. I know. How do you think all those bodies stay hidden from the public?

9. Huh.

10. Jesus.

11. What are we doing here, sir?

12. Lay the bodies face up, weapons in hand.

13. We need to have the media's front page photo waiting for them.

14. So, what are you planning to do with that amulet?

15. Carry it around in your pocket?

16. That depends on whether you're gonna try to take it.

17. I'm not.

18. You're gonna give it to me.

19. Aren't we past all this?

20. We fought an army together, sorta.

21. I saved your life three times.

22. - Twice. - Two and a half.

23. The White Rabbit won't be the last to come after that.

24. You really think you can protect it?

25. I'm the only one that can protect it.

26. Who else do you trust with it? That guy?

27. Yes. Baines is willing to do what's necessary to protect this realm.

28. Seems to me like he hasn't actually done anything.

29. Besides giving orders that ended with a whole lot of you dead.

30. Which he doesn't look too torn up about.

31. You don't know him.

32. He's hard because he has to be.

33. But he cares about...

34. his people.

35. Mr. Vice President, sir. Not to ask questions above my pay grade here,

36. but what are these things?

37. What did this to them?

38. What they are will be revealed soon enough.

39. As for what did this...

40. She did.

41. That girl?

42. More of a trained attack dog.

43. Brimming with anger and violence that serve their purpose.

44. Though sometimes she must be brought to heel.

45. If you don't want to give me that amulet, fine.

46. I say one word,

47. and the soldiers you're surrounded by

48. blow your brains right through that fucking haircut.

49. Yeah, because it worked so well the last time you sent 50 guys at me.

50. Then I'll do it myself.

51. I'm feeling it between you two.

52. Do I sense a former prisoner-captor romance vibe happening here?

53. Out of the two prisoners, I can't believe you went with him.

54. I kid, I kid.

55. Listen, Dante.

56. If it's about a job, my prices have tripled.

57. So you're still taking jobs from me?

58. Yeah, why not?

59. I can always count on you to sell me out for the slightest bit of personal gain.

60. Hard to find someone that reliable.

61. That's great to hear.

62. I was talking to a few of these government types on the ride over here

63. about a sweet demon-killing—

64. Lieutenant Arkham.

65. Where is Sparda's sword?

66. The Rabbit took it with him into the river, sir.

67. Failing to secure your objectives...

68. That disappointment I could accept.

69. But you have caused me to doubt your devotion, Mary.

70. I know. My team was killed because I led them into the Rabbit's trap.

71. - Whatever reprimand you deem fit— - This isn't about your team.

72. They served the purpose God intended.

73. Our fight is for humanity's souls.

74. Every vessel is expendable.

75. The amulet.

76. Tell me you at least secured that.

77. The Rabbit took the amulet with him too.

78. If you guys could drop it by my place when you find it, that'd be great.

79. You remember where.

80. Is that what happened?

81. I was poisoned. Paralyzed.

82. From my position, it was hard to see.

83. It doesn't matter. The Lord will provide what we need.

84. We didn't go looking for this war, but it's here.

85. You're running a whole paramilitary operation to hunt and kill demons.

86. I think you looked for it pretty hard.

87. I told you, Dante, that you may have a chance to earn your redemption.

88. This is your war too, by blood.

89. You need to choose a side.

90. I'm not much of a war guy.

91. Call when you piss off an actually powerful demon

92. and make things even worse.

93. Sure it won't be too long.

94. All units, on target.

95. You can't have thought that someone with your power

96. would be allowed to just walk free.

97. - Lieutenant, take the demon into custody. - Sir—

98. That was what an order sounds like.

99. Fire! Fire on the new target!

100. Holy macaroni! What is that thing?

101. Those tubes in his body!

102. Yeah, it's the Rabbit.

103. How?

104. Whatever the recommended dose is for 'roiding yourself up with demon blood,

105. I think he just drastically fucking exceeded it.

106. Hey! Down here!

107. Hey, Enzo, that guy looks kind of dangerous.

108. You might want to get somewhere safe.

109. Ha, so reliable.

110. Where are those anti-demon bullets you keep shooting me with?

111. These are anti-demon bullets.

112. His DNA must still be too human to detonate them.

113. Or we haven't tried shooting him enough yet.

114. Okay, it's a DNA thing!

115. It might take me more than one punch to beat him now.

116. All his demon blood runs through a valve from that thing on his chest.

117. We have to shoot the valve and cut off the power supply.

118. Eh. Think the gun you gave me was defective.

119. You're not getting another one.

120. Lady!

121. How do you manage to get even uglier each time I see you?

122. It's actually impressive.

123. Give me... the amulet!

124. Think, Enzo. Think!

125. Not as easy as it looks, is it?

126. Turning into a demon.

127. I don't think your body can take this for long.

128. It just needs to be long enough!

129. Hey!

130. Ugly rabbit freak!

131. I've got your gateway to Hell right here!

132. No!

133. Should have been hiding in a hole like the vermin you are.

134. Enzo, why did you do that?

135. You see?

136. I told you I would take a blade for you.

137. Enzo...

138. That's all I needed.

139. Hellblood! Let's go!

140. Finally...

141. The Sword of Sparda...

142. in its true form.

143. Look at it.

144. This spectacle of prosperity, built on the misery of an unseen world.

145. It ends the moment I let this blade touch the blood of Sparda's entire line.

146. The entire line?

147. You need the blood of the entire line?

148. Why didn't you say that before? We could have just skipped all of this.

149. See, that would mean you also need—

150. Blood from Vergil.

151. How did you...

152. Vergil is...

153. Dead?

154. No, Dante. Your other half is very much alive.

155. That's impossible.

156. I... I watched him die.

157. Oh, did you?

158. Tell me.

159. How does it feel to be reunited with your brother?

160. You see now the totality of your failure.

161. Watching your world end around you as you die on your father's sword,

162. dipped in the blood of the twin brother you abandoned.

163. Motherfucker!

164. Chamber still works.

165. One shot.

166. All that inherited power,

167. and it still wasn't enough to stop me!

168. Jackpot.

169. You shouldn't have told me about Vergil.

170. I have to live for him!

171. Hmm.

172. You believe you're on one side.

173. The right one.

174. But you're wrong.

175. Eventually, you'll realize you are welcomed by no one.

176. An unlovable orphan.

177. This time...

178. He's definitely fucking dead this time... right?

179. Definitely.

180. Enzo?

181. He seemed like a good guy.

182. For a scumbag.

183. He was.

184. I think the Rabbit might have had a point.

185. Not about letting demons ravage the world and kill everybody.

186. But the other stuff.

187. Well, at least the world's still here.

188. Don't sound too happy about it.

189. You know me. I'm always happy.

190. Right.

191. Your jokes are a weak-shit cover.

192. I've seen you in moments when you think no one's looking.

193. Did you do demon psychoanalysis classes at DARKCOM or something?

194. No.

195. I've just had to watch everyone I've ever cared about die in front of me.

196. Me too.

197. Or maybe I didn't.

198. The Rabbit told me...

199. He said my brother is still alive.

200. You think it was true?

201. No idea.

202. Knowing there's even a chance,

203. I have to go out there to try to find him.

204. You, uh... You could come with me if you want.

205. We could do an odd couple buddy cop thing.

206. Riggs and Murtaugh.

207. Tango and Cash.

208. - Dante and Lady. - You know my name is Mary.

209. Yeah. I like Lady better.

210. Lady and Dante.

211. Not Dante and Lady.

212. Eh, we'll work on it.

213. I still have to bring you in.

214. Baines was right.

215. With what your blood can do,

216. it's too dangerous to have either you or that sword out in the world.

217. I'm sorry.

218. What now?

219. I presume this is the White Rabbit's device.

220. The one that can detect and hold open rifts between worlds.

221. A hunk of pieced-together scrap.

222. Mr. Vice President, sir. Good to see you.

223. After the amulet heist,

224. I knew there must be a leak.

225. My agents have had the DARKCOM building under surveillance.

226. Every room, every call.

227. I didn't have a choice.

228. He was watching my daughters.

229. If I didn't do what he said, he would have...

230. So, you agreed to help him unleash Hell on Earth.

231. You think Hell on Earth would be that different from my life now?

232. I did what I had to do to protect my kids.

233. This world ain't ever give a damn about us.

234. Even I, for much of my life,

235. could not comprehend his true plan.

236. God has never asked us to sit idly by and await his kingdom on Earth,

237. but to build it ourselves.

238. This device, what did the Rabbit want you to do with it?

239. He told me...

240. He told me to destroy it.

241. He wanted to keep his tech out of human hands,

242. so we couldn't use it against them.

243. Then the Devil is as clever as his reputation.

244. We are going to use it, Anders.

245. To wage the final war against Hell itself.

246. You really are out of your goddamn mind.

247. You think you can win a war with Hell?

248. My faith in the Lord is absolute.

249. I fell from an aircraft with nothing, and still, he saved me.

250. Let's see if the Devil does the same for you.

251. Scramble the jets on my position.

252. Operation Inferno has started.

253. My fellow Americans.

254. What I am about to tell you is going to sound shocking.

255. Even unbelievable.

256. But as your president,

257. it is my duty not to conceal these hard truths,

258. but to lay them before you

259. so we may confront them together as a nation.

260. The truth is,

261. Hell is real.

262. Demons are real.

263. Our King Mundus grants you your freedom.

264. Show him gratitude.

265. It was Mundus who freed me from my own bondage.

266. The sapiens and their armies

267. aren't aware of the storm they ride into.

268. I am that storm.

269. IN MEMORY OF KEVIN CONROY
